(EAW intro plays.)
(Road to Redemption is almost here! However, before we can get to the go-home show before the monumental event, a recap of last week’s Dynasty plays: Chris Elite and Joso opens the show, with Chris having called Joso out. The two trade words before they brawl, and Chris manages to get the better of Joso. In the opening contest, Roberto De La Rosa defeats MITSU. Roberto gets his Territorial Invasion revenge as he and La Familia attack the downed MITSU, but the Jaded Hearts slide in, quelling their assault. Charlie Marr comes to Dynasty to lay his claim to winning the Cash in the Vault tournament, but Ricky and Shinzo come out to confront him. This is a setup as KAI-ZEN attacks Charlie, and Shinzo lays him out! In the next match, Mig De Decker and Prince Tohru defeat NOVA and Cody Maverick after Cody ditches his partner and future opponent. Rory Slate defeats local talent Christie Stratus and cuts a passionate promo claiming that she will redeem herself and become the new Specialists Champion. Drake Armstrong and Cy Henderson trade words. Things get heated, and Drake tries to sucker punch him, but that doesn’t go as planned, and Cy clears him out of the ring. Ms. Extreme defeats LILITH. Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant announce the return of the Extreme Enigma Batte Royale, emphasizing its importance to everyone. In the next match, Milli Banks defeats AIRI Evergarden, but after the bout, Ms. Extreme attacks, and the two engage in a scuffle. Theron Nikolas and Ronan Malosi trade words. Michael Belfort interviewed Ryan Wilson at home about Xander Payne’s home invasion, but he’s attacked, and the two former friends set the date for their rematch at the Christmas Show in Mexico. Ronan Malosi defeats Xander Payne by DQ after interference from Theron Nikolas. The six EEC participants sit down during dinner to talk about the upcoming match, but things devolve into chaos, and a fight nearly breaks out. Kassidy Heart defeats Cy Henderson after an insanely close match in the main event. Afterwards, Minerva attacks Sienna Jade and the champion.)
(Dynasty comes to a live shot of the Desert Financial Arena in Tempe, Arizona! The arena is lit up, and as we enter inside of it, it is filled to the brim with a raucous crowd! The camera captures the electric atmosphere, and the air is charged with anticipation. The crowd, a sea of enthusiastic fans, fills every seat, their excitement palpable. The hum of conversations and cheers creates a buzzing energy reverberating throughout the arena.)
(The wrestling ring takes center stage, surrounded by barricades and adorned with the signature red Dynasty emblem of the show. The giant screens above the ring display the Dynasty logo, and the lighting rigs hanging from the ceiling cast dramatic shadows across the canvas.)
(In the midst of the crowd, signs of all kinds proudly display support for various Elitists, and the audience erupts into cheers as the camera pans over their faces, capturing the diverse sea of emotions—from eager anticipation to outright excitement.)
(Also, can’t forget the Christmas-inspired wear! We’re twenty–four days away!)
(A sudden explosion of pyrotechnics lights up the arena, showering the stage with sparks and flames of varying red and white hues. The crowd reacts with awe and cheers as the flames dance in sync with the beat of the intro music.)
(As the pyro show subsides, the focus shifts back to the commentary table. Stew-O, Jake Mercer, and Flannery McCoy are all on standby!)
Stew-O: Welcome, everyone, to-
Jake Mercer: THE SHOW LEADING THE WAY FOR THE GREATEST WRESTLING THAT ANYONE WILL EVER SEE 😤!!!
Flannery McCoy: Otherwise known as Friday Night Dynasty 😅! I’m Flannery McCoy and alongside me are my broadcast colleagues, Stew-O and Jake Mercer! We’re so excited to be here and even more importantly, we’re all looking forward to Road to Redemption that happens just this upcoming week!
Stew-O: You can feel the excitement in the air – backstage and out here among the fans! It’s a great time of the season and you can tell that there isn’t a single person here who isn’t looking forward to it! But first, tonight we get to hear from Extreme Elimination Chamber competitors and others who’ll be competing at the event, all looking to get some of their final thoughts and words out just before next week kicks off!
Jake Mercer: And talking about kicking things off, we’re gonna have Milli Banks out here in just a moment! Things have escalated over the weeks between herself and Ms. Extreme over what Milli says was just a misunderstanding and emotions coming into play, but Ms. Extreme just wasn’t having it and now we’ll be seeing them at each other’s throats under an official capacity when they meet one-on-one at Road to Redemption!
(“Changed It” by Nicki Minaj featuring Lil Wayne begins to play and the crowd ignites into cheers for the former Specialists Champion! Milli walks out but it’s clear that she is most certainly not looking to play into the cheers and excitement of her arrival, instead walking down right to the ring with a microphone in her hand.)
Flannery McCoy: Milli looks to be all business here tonight and with a woman like Ms. Extreme coming at her, I can’t say that I blame her for taking this as seriously as she looks!
Stew-O: Ms. Extreme is definitely not the kind of woman that you want to get on the wrong side of, but that’s not to say that Milli couldn’t possibly hold her own against the record-setting former Universal Women’s Champion! We’ve seen Milli grow into an amazing competitor and there’s plenty of room for her to show what more she can do on a bigger stage against a bigger opponent like Ms. Extreme, and I believe she knows that as well and plans to show it!
(Milli enters the ring looking around at the crowd and she shakes her head as she arrives in the middle of the ring. Seemingly not knowing how else to start other than to get right to it, Milli shrugs and raises her microphone.)
Milli Banks: The last couple of weeks have really been a great way to test someone’s patience. You all know I rarely hold anything back and that’s why I have no problem saying that this whole situation between myself and Ms. Extreme is actually kinda crazy. I really had no idea that one off-the-cuff remark could’ve led to all of this going down between the two of us, but it’s not like it was anything too off the wall or anything that couldn’t have been resolved some other way if she was really just that in her feelings about it. I know she likes to call herself the “Problem Child” but even I have to admit, I didn’t see that getting turned around to come after the way she has while being so petty and immature.
(Some boos arise from the audience, not at all shocking Milli, but she doesn’t appear fazed in the slightest as she rolls her eyes.)
Milli Banks: I know she has her fans, but c’mon, it’s so easy to see how this got blown way out of proportion and turned into something that it absolutely didn’t have to be. But what I said to her for this to all have gone down how it has, it must have cut pretty deep and hurt Camille’s ego since she couldn’t let it go and decided the best course of action was gonna be to attack me. There must’ve been some truth to what I said for her to act the way she has; seeing Kassidy with the Universal Women’s Championship and knowing her record-setting reign could be in jeopardy definitely has her upset. With the PURE Championship gone and people forgetting it was a thing once upon a time, it leaves the Universal Women’s Title with all the potential in the world for that record to get erased :eyes:! I know I’ve said that maybe I shouldn’t have said what I said to her all those weeks ago, but damn, if this is the reaction I was gonna get from her where I have to hear all her bogus theories about the reasons behind people’s success, then should’ve thought twice about dragging my name into it because I’m not ashamed to get petty myself! Ms. Extreme wanted to just keep coming at me and she had to have known that I wasn’t just gonna roll over and let her do or say what she wanted just because she’s the veteran in the situation. Fuck all of that! That’s not who I am and that’s not what I’m about, but it’s pretty obvious that what Camille is about, is being insecure and feeling threatened by women who are better than her.
Milli Banks: Honestly, I expected better from someone like Camille, but she took what I said and all it seems like is that she wanted the perfect excuse to take all her frustrations out on someone after losing to Kassidy. The problem for her is that she chose the wrong woman to play these kinda games with, because if the bitch wants to dial it up and wanted to keep throwing fuel on the fire, then she better be prepared to get scorched-
(“They Call Me a God” by NEFFEX interrupts Milli and Ms. Extreme walks out from the back appearing to be genuinely amused, laughing somewhat as she points into the ring. Milli can only look confused as she doesn’t understand the humor of the situation, knowing that there isn’t any. Starting down the aisle, Camille raises the microphone that she has brought with her.)
Ms. Extreme: You’ve gotta be joking me! No, seriously, because what the hell is all this? You wanna come out here trying to convince everyone that I’m just some delusional bitch with anger issues and decided to set my sights on you for seemingly no reason, but we’re not gonna do things that way, Milli. I’m so sorry to say but parading out here and getting on a mic to make yourself out to be so innocent isn’t gonna fly with me, because the reason you’re in this so-called “mess” is that it’s your own fault.
(Ms. Extreme heads up the steps and through the ropes to get into the ring, standing across from Milli. There are dueling chants between fans of Ms. Extreme and fans of Milli Banks, but the two of them don’t even acknowledge the audience as they remain focused on one another.)
Milli Banks: But I already said that I-
Ms. Extreme: You had your time, so why don’t you do something you haven’t done in a while and that’s shut your mouth while I’m talking? Because that’s your problem, Milli, you don’t wanna listen. You don’t want to sit back and really let the words sink in. You were so in your feelings after losing to Bea Valentine that you decided to be reactionary rather than reasonable, and now you’re realizing just like every other bad-ass kid that gets out of line, you’re gonna find there are consequences to your actions. Maybe you got used to being just a little too comfortable as Specialists Champion with the things you thought you could say to someone without anyone who was really capable of smacking some sense into you actually setting you straight, but you don’t get to throw the first shot and then try to hide your hands. Frankly, I expected better than this pathetic shit from you, Milli, because there’s no need for it. Instead of owning what you said, what we all get is “big, bad Camille is just overreacting and it’s not really my fault 🥺” – but let’s not forget that you said what you did to me when I was only giving your dumbass some advice!
Ms. Extreme: Trying to make yourself look better in the eyes of the fans or anyone else watching isn’t gonna do you any favors; people aren’t so quick to forget that just a year ago you were an insufferable bitch who loved making people hate her! But hey, I guess old habits die hard, huh? Brings back memories of how all your talking got you in trouble with the IOP because you just didn’t know when to shut the fuck up, doesn’t it?! Bet it does! And now that mouth of yours got you in trouble again and you’re just not gonna talk your way out of this one, especially with me. Maybe there are some people out there who are gonna believe you – after spending so many months of being able to prop yourself up and make yourself look good against the most lame-ass trio of inconsistent, disappointing, and failed projects EAW had seen at the time, it’s understandable why your support would rally behind you when all you had to do was swat down some annoying, weak gnats who thought they were queen bees to get people to like you. Talk about all that turning out to be nothing but wasted time for you now, right? Speaking of wasted, how does it feel to know you willingly opted out of defending the Specialists Championship at Pain for Pride earlier this year instead of giving that title the spotlight, just so you could have a wasted grudge match against-
Milli Banks: Shut your fucking mouth.
(Ms. Extreme can’t help but look smug as she smirks while she looks at her Road to Redemption opponent, even as she has Milli looking seemingly ready to get in her face.)
Ms. Extreme: That’s what I thought. But I’m sure it has to honestly suck knowing that between you and She Who Shall Not Be Named, the fans only got behind you because you were basically the lesser of two evils. If you hadn’t been screwed over and done so dirty, if there wasn’t a woman who was somehow more awful than Tahira Jackson then the fans wouldn’t have gotten behind you. Oh, wait, wait, wait, that’s right – you don’t like when people use your real name, do you? Well, that’s just too damn bad because in case you couldn’t tell, I just don’t give a fuck!
(Milli rolls her eyes, annoyed and irritated as Ms. Extreme is so clearly trying to get under her skin with the shots she’s taking at her career. Sighing heavily to try to keep her composure, Milli takes a moment before looking back over at Ms. Extreme.)
Milli Banks: You know, Camille, the more you talk, the more I can’t figure out why the hell you were ever so popular to begin with; all you’ve done is cause problems. You’re doing it with me, you did it with Kassidy Heart and Chris Elite, you even did it with Andrea Valentine when she came looking for a shot at you – it’s like you always have to be the bigger bitch to someone! Like, I really don’t understand how I could’ve had the respect that I did for you seeing how you’re acting toward me-
Ms. Extreme: That’s funny, because I couldn’t help but think the same thing about how I used to respect you until you stepped all over the advice that I tried to give you. I thought you would’ve been a lot more open to it because of that shared respect, but what you did was let your hurt ego do the talking for you instead. So, if that’s the kind of attitude that you’re gonna have, then I can’t help but look at you and feel some regret about ever thinking that you were gonna be a star.
Milli Banks: Aww, well I guess that’s just too bad for me then, isn’t it? Ms. Extreme doesn’t think I’ll be a star so I guess my career is over, right?! Wrong! Because I’m gonna be a bigger star than you ever were, Camille, and the only reason you don’t like me now is because you know that yourself and that I’m gonna outshine everything you’ve ever done.
(Camille scoffs, a mix of amusement and surprise showing on her face after hearing Milli’s last statement.)
Ms. Extreme: You’re gonna outshine me?! Milli, you’re not even close to being the legend that I am; you literally dream of accomplishing what I have! You tried to break a record reign and failed, but I’ve got two to my name. You’re still trying to prove that you’re a World Championship talent, but I’ve already done that. You’re still trying to compensate for the fact that feuding with the Queen Bees for as long as you did because you got so obsessed with them was ultimately such a waste of time and effort knowing just how forgettable it all actually really is rather than it being a great highlight in your career, but as far as I’m concerned, since you couldn’t stop chasing them then I just might send you out the door to follow them!
Milli Banks: I bet that’s what your ass would want so you don’t get overshadowed by another woman who’s better than you! Kassidy already did it herself, I might as well put the nail in your coffin!
Ms. Extreme: Bitch, shut up! You don’t know shit-
Milli Banks: I know an insecure dumbass when I see one!
Ms. Extreme: And I see a bitch swinging way out of her league who’s in dire need of getting humbled!
Crowd: :lupe:
Milli Banks: You couldn’t do it if you tried!
Ms. Extreme: I will when I’m slapping the taste out your fucking mouth!
Milli Banks: DO IT! SLAP ME, BITCH-
Stew-O: SHE DID IT :damn:!!!
Flannery McCoy: I mean, well, she did kinda ask for it :lupe:
Stew-O: AND MS. EXTREME IS ALL OVER MILLI! MS. EXTREME RUSHES HER WITH A FLURRY OF PUNCHES AND MILLI DUCKS DOWN TO TRY TO COVER UP, AND CAMILLE TAKES THAT AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO START CLUBBING HER OVER THE BACK!!!
Flannery McCoy: MS. EXTREME ISN’T HOLDING BACK! SHE LANDS A WELL PLACED KICK AND LOOKS TO WHIP MILLI ACROSS THE RING, BUT MILLI HOOKS HER ARM AROUND THE TOP ROPE TO BLOCK IT! MILLI KICKS AT MS. EXTREME’S ARM TO GET HER TO LET GO AND MS. EXTREME YANKS HER HAND AWAY FROM MILLI-
Jake Mercer: MILLI LUNGES FORWARD AND SHE JUST PUNCHED MS. EXTREME IN THE FACE!!! AAAAHHHH!!!!! THE GIRLS ARE FIGHTING :damn:!!!
Flannery McCoy: Camille definitely isn’t shy about getting personal, but Milli’s had enough! Milli’s got Ms. Extreme by the hair while she continues to throw those hits! But now Camille’s trying to fight her off!
Stew-O: Ms. Extreme manages to connect with gut punches and that’s enough to finally free herself up from the grip that Milli was trying to maintain! Ms. Extreme sends a knee to the stomach as she moves to stand upright and Milli doubles over, getting a knee to the face now! Camille kicks her back into the ropes and Milli comes forward off of them-
Flannery McCoy: “HOLY GROUND”- DOESN’T HIT! MILLI MANAGES TO SIDESTEP MS. EXTREME IN TIME AND IS ABLE TO GET AROUND HER AS CAMILLE COMES BACK DOWN TO HER FEET! SHE IMMEDIATELY GRABS CAMILLE’S HAIR- A BACK KICK BY MS. EXTREME! MILLI GETS CAUGHT AS CAMILLE SHOWS OFF THOSE VETERAN INSTINCTS TO ACT SWIFTLY ON THE SPOT, AND NOW SHE WHIRLS AROUND LOOKING FOR A CLOTHESLINE!
Jake Mercer: BUT MILLI DUCKS! MS. EXTREME TURNS AROUND AGAIN- “NO FAKE BILLS HERE”!!!! MILLI SHOT OFF THE ROPES FROM THE OTHER SIDE AND CAME CHARGING AT MS. EXTREME TO HIT A HIGH KNEE!!! CAMILLE GETS HIT BACK INTO THE ROPES AND MILLI SHOOTS FORWARD AGAIN TO STRIKE HER OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE OUTSIDE WITH A CLOTHESLINE!!!!!
(Ms. Extreme hits the ground with a thud, but she’s not down for long! The fighter in Ms. Extreme knows she can’t stay down and she no doubt wants to get her hands on Milli, and so she rises to her feet as fast as she’s able to after getting sent to the outside!)
Flannery McCoy: TOPE CON HILO!!!!! MILLI SOARS OVER THE TOP ROPE AND COLLIDES WITH MS. EXTREME AS SOON AS MS. EXTREME WAS BACK UP ON HER FEET!
Stew-O: WHAT A STATEMENT SENT BY MILLI BANKS JUST NOW AS SHE TAKES DOWN THE FORMER UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION!!!
Jake Mercer: But wait! She isn’t done! Milli’s not done! Milli turns over and goes to grab Camille, but just as she gets a handful of hair, here come the officials! Milli is trying to break free and stay on Ms. Extreme but there are just too many people holding her back, and the same can be said for Ms. Extreme! She looks absolutely furious that Milli Banks was able to get the better of her tonight ahead of Road to Redemption!
(Ms. Extreme screams and shouts at Milli while being surrounded and held back by officials and bodyguards, and Milli doesn’t hesitate to shout about what just happened mere moments ago! But there’s no doubt that both of them know that tonight was hardly a glimpse at what could go down between the both of them at Road to Redemption!)
Jake Mercer: IT’S MADNESS OUT HERE! I AGREE WITH THE CROWD: LET  THEM  FIGHT !!!! LET  THEM  FIGHT !!!!
Stew-O: What an exchange we just witnessed, and we’re only just getting started here on Dynasty!
Flannery McCoy: I know! But this is definitely a match that no one’s gonna want to miss now! I mean, I can only imagine what they’ll be saying to each other over the course of next week and the match is sure to live up to all those words I’m sure they won’t hold back on!
(While the crowd continues to chant for Ms. Extreme and Milli Banks to be allowed to go at each other, they’ll have to settle for witnessing the shouting match that continues to go down between the two women as the groups that they’re being held back by simply won’t let them get back to trying to tear each other apart. As Milli and Ms. Extreme keep trying to get their last words in, the scene fades out.)
(A commercial is shown for Milli Banks versus Ms. Extreme at Road To Redemption.)
Stew-O: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Friday Night Dynasty, and wow, I still can’t get over that explosive opener! That was intense.
Flannery McCoy: We’ve seen Milli and Ms. Extreme be mad before, but I don’t think we have ever seen them that angry! It was almost scary!
Jake Mercer: You’re telling me! I thought the fighting would continue and cause havoc all around the arena! This has become insane, and by the time Road to Redemption comes around, we are going to see an all-out WAR between those two Elitists!
Stew-O: Almost made me ready to run from the table! At the very least, security has been able to quell that huge fight. Now, Dynasty can start off properly, and we have an amazing opening contest on the way as LILITH and MITSU square off against each other!
(With that announcement, the camera shows Stephie Love in the ring, smiling and ready to kick off the night of action!)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘What Makes You A Man’ by The Ninth Wave plays. The song fills the airwaves as the lights dim. LILITH slowly saunters, gaze floating around the audience before she makes her way to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! Residing in Brasov, Romania, weighing in tonight at 113 pounds… she is the ‘Queen of the Damned’… LIIIIIIIIIIIIILIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTHHH!!!!
Stew-O: What a fascinating young woman she is. There is something darkly intriguing about her, and she has captured the attention of everyone since making her debut almost two months ago. She hasn’t always had the best of luck winning, but that hs not bothered her at all. LILITH is calm, focused, and based on her words this week, ready to beat MITSU. She’s already had an impressive string of matches against the likes of AIRI Evergarden, Sally, and Ms. Extreme. Now, she gets to take on an Elitist who, in their own right, is looking to bounce back and make a strong statement in the ring here tonight.
Jake Mercer: You’re right, Stew-O. LILITH has this mysterious aura around her, and it’s that enigmatic quality that has piqued the interest of the EAW Universe. She’s faced tough competition and has shown resilience, and tonight, she steps into the ring with a point to prove against MITSU.
Flannery McCoy: And MITSU, on the other hand, is no stranger to adversity. His journey in EAW has been filled with ups and downs, and this match against LILITH is an opportunity for him to turn the tide. Both Elitists have something to gain, and it’s going to be interesting to see who comes out on top.
Stew-O: Absolutely, Flannery. This is a clash of two distinct styles and personalities. LILITH’s calm demeanor against MITSU’s tenacity – it’s a recipe for a compelling match.
(LILITH is in the ring, slinking down into the corner. Slowly, she cracks her neck back and forth and side to side. Her gaze sharpens on the stage as the lights switch. ‘il vento d’oro’ by Yugo Kanno plays, and the fans offer a large, positive reception for the Golden Doyen!)
Stephie Love: And introducing her opponent! From Sōka, Saitama, Japan, weighing in tonight at 187 pounds… he is the ‘Golden Doyen’… MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTSSSSUUUUUUUUUUU!!!
(MITSU steps out, focused in his own right. The ring is his main priority and in turn? LILITH.)
Stew-O: MITSU hasn’t been fairing well lately. That much is known. However, he can never, ever be counted out. He has heart, grit, and determination, and one thing he will never do is give up.
Flannery McCoy: MITSU’s resilience is one of his defining characteristics. Despite the setbacks, he always brings that fighting spirit to the ring. MITSU has been a part of some intense battles, faced formidable opponents, and emerged victorious in crucial moments. That experience can be a game-changer in a match like this.
Jake Mercer: Yeah. We’ll just have to wait and see if his head is truly in this.
(With both Elitists in the ring, Stephie Love leaves and the referee calls for the bell!)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And here we go! The first match of the night is underway! Both Elitists circle around the ring quickly, looking to size each other up visually! Of course, MITSU has the huge size advantage, but he seems to be a little more careful, not wanting to rush in just yet in case LILITH manages to psych him out!
Flannery McCoy: It’s a smart approach by MITSU. LILITH’s unpredictability makes her a formidable opponent. He needs to be cautious and strategic in his approach to avoid falling into any traps she might set!
Jake Mercer: You can see the tension in the ring. Both Elitists are calculating, waiting for the right moment to strike. It’s a psychological game as much as it is a physical one.
Stew-O: MITSU makes the first move, lunging forward with a quick grapple attempt, but LILITH sidesteps, showcasing her agility. She’s elusive, and MITSU needs to find a way to ground her.
Flannery McCoy: LILITH responds with a series of rapid strikes, targeting MITSU’s midsection. She’s aiming to wear him down early in the match, using her speed to her advantage.
Jake Mercer: MITSU, though, manages to catch one of LILITH’s strikes and counters with a powerful clothesline! The force behind that move sends LILITH crashing to the mat.
Stew-O: MITSU quickly follows up, grabbing LILITH by the arm and attempting to pull her back to her feet. But LILITH counters with a stunning hurricanrana, catching MITSU off guard! MITSU gets to his knees, but from there, LILITH catches him in a side headlock! She drops down, flipping him over onto his back with that modified takedown! An inventive move there by her!
Flannery McCoy: She has MITSU grounded on the floor! She looks to cinch the hold tighter, but he’s starting to work his way back up to his feet! MITSU finally manages to power back up to a standing position, and with sheer strength, he lifts LILITH off her feet. He’s trying to break free from that headlock, and it looks like he’s succeeding! LILITH, however, shifts her weight and turns the headlock into a headscissors! MITSU is momentarily caught off guard, and now he’s the one on the mat, trying to find an escape.
Jake Mercer: The agility of LILITH is impressive. She’s adapting to MITSU’s power, and it’s giving her an edge in this match!
Stew-O: MITSU, though, using his size advantage, powers his way out of the headscissors. He’s back on his feet, and now both Elitists are standing, eyeing each other warily.
Flannery McCoy: The back-and-forth nature of this match is keeping the crowd on their toes. It’s hard to predict which way it’ll swing next.
Jake Mercer: And that’s what makes matches like these so exciting. The ebb and flow, the strategic maneuvers – it’s a chess match in that ring!
Stew-O: Now, MITSU presses forward, but he LILITH slides underneath his legs! She trips him up and floats over to his front, going for a grounded facelock!
Jake Mercer: But MITSU works his way back up! LILITH still hangs on! He grabs onto her – AND HE SENDS HER UP AND OVER WITH A NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! COVER!
ONEEEE–
Flannery McCoy: KICKOUT! MITSU maintains his hold, bringing both himself and LILITH up! He looks to hoist her up again, but she’s showing a bit of resistance, lacing her leg around his! He goes for another attempt, but it’s no use! Same method! MITSU lets go and spins, going for a backfist–
Stew-O: Ducked by LILITH! She rises up and catches him with a spinning back heel to the gut! MITSU almost keels over! She hits the ropes and comes back in with a running sayonara–
Jake Mercer: NO! MITSU HOLDS HER AND STOPS HER FROM ROLLING HIM THROUGH! HE HOISTS HER UP INTO A POWERBOMB POSITION!
Flannery McCoy: PUNCHES BY LILITH! RAPID FIRE AT THAT! MITSU WALKS FORWARD, BUT HE’S GOING SLOWER AND SLOWER! HIS GRIP LOOSENS, AND LILITH IS ABLE TO FALL BACK, LANDING ON HER FEET! GREAT EVASION THERE! NOW, SHE STRIKES WITH A SERIES OF KICKS TO THE LEGS!
Stew-O: MITSU PUSHES HER AWAY! HOWEVER, LILITH IS INADVERTENTLY SENT TO THE ROPES, AND SHE COMES BACK, MOWING HIM DOWN WITH A BASEMENT DROPKICK TO THE LEGS! SHE GETS THE OVER!
ONEEEEEEEE—
Jake Mercer: KICKOUT! LILITH gets back up and grabs MITSU by the leg, rolling him over to his stomach. She goes for a headstand… AND DROPS DOWN WITH A BRIDGING LEG LOCK! WHAT THE HELL? WHAT FLEXIBILITY AND CRAFTINESS HERE BY HER!!
Flannery McCoy: Wow! Okay, I have never seen that before! LILITH is keeping control, and I imagine the bridge is placing more pressure on that limb! She just has to be careful that her shoulders aren’t on the mat!
Stew-O: MITSU is gritting his teeth, looking to pull himself towards the ropes! He sinks his nails into the mat, dragging his body weight to them! The fans rally behind him!
Jake Mercer: Ah, and all that movement isn’t going to make that bridging leglock sustainable. LILITH gets back up, trying to drag MITSU away from the ropes– OH! And he KICKS HER RIGHT IN THE FACE! THEN ANOTHER ONE! LILITH STAGGERS BACK! He pops back up, and LILITH runs towards him! BACKFIST! LILITH is starting to look wobbly now…
Flannery McCoy: AND HE SCOOPS HER UP, DROPPING HER WITH A SUPLEX TO THE ROPES! THE BACK OF HER KNEES HIT THEM! GREAT RING AWARENESS THERE BY MITSU! THAT MOVE HAD TO DO SOME EXTRA DAMAGE!
Stew-O: You can see that bit of discomfort beginning to surface on her face! MITSU shakes off his right leg, looking for momentum on his side. Taking LILITH up, he connects with a series of elbows! He caps things off with a WICKED backhand chop! LILITH staggers back into the turnbuckle! MITSU runs in and hits the big boot!
Jake Mercer: NO! She got out of the way at the last second! Talk about a close call! She kicks that leg, the same one she was working on, before she grabs it and fixes it on the middle rope! She uses the ropes to bounce up and NAILS A DIVING STOMP! JESUS, THIS GIRL IS WICKED! MITSU IS IN PAIN!
Flannery McCoy: WOW! THAT WAS HARD TO WATCH! AND THAT MOVE RIGHT THERE COULD HAVE DRAMATICALLY ALTERED THE DYNAMIC IN THIS CONTEST!
Stew-O: LILITH takes the time to recover. She gathers herself, seeing MITSU trying to stand up. She STOMPS on the leg! And again! She’s RELENTLESS! She grabs it, twists it in between her legs, and DROPS DOWN ONTO HER KNEES, ALMOST LIKE A SNAP MANUEVER ON IT! LILITH IS DOING EVERYTHING SHE CAN TO KEEP MITSU DOWN!
Jake Mercer: And this is smart on her part! Aside from it being brutal, she’s chopping down the larger opponent! Going for the legs never fails!
Flannery McCoy: Yeah, it’s effective. She sits MITSU up and hits a soccer kick! He flinches! Another kick lands on the back before she hits the ropes – PENALTY KICK TO THE FACE! Another cover here!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOO–
Stew-O: KICKOUT! MITSU is still persistent as we near seven minutes in this match! That resilience of his won’t allow for him to give up easily! However, LILITH isn’t frustrated. She stomps down hard on him again before turning her attention over to the top!
Jake Mercer: Well, LILITH can fly as much as she can strike! A little high district never hurt nobody! LILITH starts the climb!
Flannery McCoy: And MITSU hasn’t moved! I think those attacks to their legs are starting to work like a charm – exactly what LILITH wants here. Whatever she has in store could be what she needs to bring this match to its end!
Stew-O: And LILITH is right at the top! The Queen of the Damned looks to take flight–
Jake Mercer: WAIT, HANG ON! MITSU IS TRYING TO GET BACK UP! LILITH SEES THIS! SHE PERCHES DOWN WAITING FOR HIM TO STAND! MITSU IS ABLE TO, AND THAT’S WHEN SHE TAKES OFF WITH A FLYING CROSSBODY–
Flannery McCoy: – ONLY FOR MITSU TO HIT HER WITH A JUMPING DROPKICK!!! :damn: THAT WIPES HER OUT OF THE AIR!
Stew-O: WHAT A MOVE! A BIG-TIME SHOT THAT LANDS AND HITS ITS MARK! BOTH ELITISTS ARE DOWN, WITH THE CROWD CHANTING FOR MITSU AS THIS COULD BE THE COMEBACK HE NEEDS!
Crowd: MIT-SU! MIT-SU! MIT-SU! MIT-SU!
Jake Mercer: That was ballsy, but it worked! Still, I have to wonder how much that took out of MITSU. :lupe:
Flannery McCoy: It was a risk, but it worked! MITSU crawls over and gets the cover!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO–
Stew-O: Shoulder up! LILITH stays alive, but it’s clear that dropkick snatched the air out of her! She clutches onto her gut, trying to sit up… but MITSU grabs her and lifts her up into the air! GUTBUSTER! LILITH collapses, rolling onto her back!
Jake Mercer: DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE STOMACH! MITSU ALMOST FALLS GIVEN THE PAIN HIS LEGS ARE IN, BUT HE’S PUSHING PAST IT AND IS HAVING THE ADRENALINE GOING! HE BOUNCES FROM THE ROPES… RUNNING BACK SENTON! WHERE IS MITSU GETTING ALL OF THIS SPIRIT FROM?!
Flannery McCoy: THAT’S WHAT HE’S KNOWN FOR, JAKE! AND RIGHT NOW, HE’S TRYING TO KEEP THE PRESSURE UP BEFORE THE PAIN BECOMES TOO MUCH! HE CLIMBS UP THE CORNER! LILITH SITS UP… BUT GOES BACK DOWN WITH THAT DIVING ELBOW STRAIGHT TO THE CHEST! MITSU IS JUST PULLING AWAY HERE WITH THE RAPID-FIRE OFFENSE!
Stew-O: And the fans are LOVING this! After weeks of people questioning MITSU’s drive and determination, he is showing everyone that it has never left!
Jake Mercer: MITSU is unleashing a relentless assault, and it’s clear he’s determined to prove any doubters wrong. He’s got LILITH reeling, and the momentum is firmly in his favor.
Flannery McCoy: MITSU is still favoring his legs, though. The toll of the match is starting to show. He needs to be careful not to let that pain become a deciding factor.
Jake Mercer: True, Flannery. This match has been physically demanding for both Elitists, and it’s reaching a critical point. MITSU needs to capitalize on his momentum, and LILITH needs to find an opening to turn the tide.
Stew-O: MITSU now brings LILITH back to her feet, and he’s setting her up for something big. The fans are on the edge of their seats, anticipating what’s coming next!
Jake Mercer: AND HE HITS IT! THE GERMAN SUPLEX! HE GETS ONE OF THEM!
Flannery McCoy: COULD THIS BE THE TRIFECTA?? HE GETS UP AND SCORES ANOTHER GERMAN SUPLEX!
Stew-O: IT COULD BE! MITSU WANTS TO END THINGS! HE DEADLIFTS LILITH UP… AND HIS LEGS ARE SHAKING… YET SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY, MITSU FIGHTS THROUGH IT AND JUST HIT THREE! THREE! THREE CONSECUTIVE GERMAN SUPLEXES!!! HE BRIDGES INTO A QUICK COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Jake Mercer: SHOULDER UP! SHOULDER UP! HOLY CRAP, LILITH MANAGES TO BREAK OUT OF ONE OF THE AKUMEIDAKAI’S SIGNATURE MOVES! HOW ON EARTH?!! SHE CANNOT BE REAL!!!
Flannery McCoy: SOME HAVE LIKENED LILITH TO BE MORE OF A DEMON THAN A HUMAN, BECAUSE THIS IS OUT OF THIS WORLD! MITSU LOOKS SHOCKED HIMSELF! LILITH REMAINS ON THE MAT, PAIN LIKELY HITTING HER RIGHT NOW!
Stew-O: AND THIS OPENING CONTEST IS ALREADY SETTING THE TONE FOR TONIGHT! WITH ROAD TO REDEMPTION NEXT WEEK, EVERYONE WANTS TO LEAVE A LASTING IMPRESSION, AND MITSU AND LILITH ARE NO EXCEPTION TO THAT!
Jake Mercer: This match is absolutely insane! MITSU unleashing a barrage of German suplexes, and yet, LILITH refuses to stay down. The resilience of both Elitists is on full display here!
Flannery McCoy: But MITSU is on borrowed time! He has to hurry if he wants to win before his own legs give out! He staggers up and grabs LILITH, working her towards the corner! He drags her up, and… oh my god, what is he going to do right here?!
Stew-O: I don’t know, but it looks like MITSU is setting her up at the top! He hangs on– and-and guys, I THINK HE’S GOING FOR THE EXPLODER SUPLEX!!!
Jake Mercer: WHAT?! FROM *THERE*?! IS HE NUTS!!
Flannery McCoy: I GUESS! BUT THAT’S A TESTAMENT TO HOW FAR MITSU IS WILLING TO GO IN THIS CONTEST TO WIN! HE HAS LILITH UP AND IS GOING TO SEND HER DOWN–
Stew-O: WAIT, NO! ELBOWS! ELBOWS! LILITH IS FIGHTING BACK DESPERATELY! SHE DOESN’T WANT TO FALL FROM ALL THE WAY OVER THERE!
Jake Mercer: BUT MITSU WILLS HIMSELF ON AND FALLS BACK! HE SLAMS HER DOWN!
Flannery McCoy: NO! CROSSBODY! CROSSBODY! SHE REVERSED IN MID-AIR AND SLAMS *HIM* DOWN INSTEAD! I THINK PART OF HER BODY LANDED ON HIS KNEES AS WELL! MITSU CRIES OUT IN PAIN! LILITH ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY, AND MITSU TRIES TO STAND–
Stew-O: ‘HAIL MARY’! ‘HAIL MARY’! THE SPEAR CONNECTS, AND MITSU GOES DOWN! LILITH PINS!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
…
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
…
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Jake Mercer: MITSU KICKS THE FUCK OUT!! OH MY GOD!!
Flannery McCoy: AT THE LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT, TOO! GOODNESS! THAT WAS TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT!
Stew-O: This is what the Dynasty is all about! Moments like these that pushes Elitists to their absolute limits. Both MITSU and LILITH are showcasing their determination in this incredible matchup!! We’re nearing thirteen minutes now in this bout, and in this close contest, both Elitists still won’t give up! None of them wants to lose!
Flannery McCoy: But it looks like despite MITSU kicking out, LILITH seems almost happy! She’s looking excited that she gets to hurt MITSU more!
Jake Mercer: She’s a sadistic woman, Flannery! I wouldn’t mind-
Stew-O: In any case, LILITH is bringing MITSU back to his feet only to continue the punishment with a European uppercut! She’s following it up with a flurry of knee strikes, only for MITSU to fight back with a harsh knee smash of his own to the midsection of LILITH!
Flannery McCoy: These Elitists are pummeling the life out of each other, I don’t know how much longer this can last! But it looks like MITSU is looking to put an end to the match as he clutches LILITH’s wrist against her gut and spins her out and yanks her back- HE’S GOING FOR DOYEN’S DOMINION!
Stew-O: NO, LILITH DUCKS UNDER IT AND RUNS PAST, HITTING THE ROPES! SHE CHARGES BACK AT MITSU, LOOKING FOR ANOTHER HAIL MARY, BUT MITSU LEAPS OVER!
Jake Mercer: LILITH HITS THE OPPOSITE SIDE’S ROPES AND SPRINTS BACK TOWARDS MITSU, PICKING UP SPEED…! OH, AND SHE LAUNCHED HERSELF AND WENT FOR MITSU’S LEGS WITH A BRUTAL BASEMENT DROPKICK!
Flannery McCoy: MITSU IS DOWN ON HIS KNEES! IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S ABOUT TO GET UP-
Stew-O: BUT LILITH CHARGES BACK! THE BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE- SHE LANDS ‘THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!’ IS MITSU OUT COLD?! LILITH IS GOING FOR THE PIN!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: LILITH did it! She put MITSU down and got the win!
Flannery McCoy: This enigmatic superstar pulled out all the stops and now gets to stand triumphant with her hand raised! But don’t take anything away from MITSU, who gave it his all in this incredible match!
(As LILITH basks in her victory, MITSU is seen recuperating from the damage with his head clutched; the video feed slowly fades elsewhere.)
(Backstage, Richard Grant and Kensingten Calhoun-Astor are in their office.

But… they weren’t kissing. No nuzzling. No canoodling. No making out as if they were by the Eiffel in Paris. The two Dynasty general managers smiled at each other, but fortunately, the egregious public display of affection wasn’t going on. They turn over to the camera, maintaining their professionalism as Kensingten starts things off.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astr: Well, Road to Redemption is right upon us. I can hardly believe it! Just like that, in just a matter of a couple of hours, we will officially be at the halfway point of season seventeen.
Richard Grant: Wow, already? Time sure does fly by, and I ain’t just saying that because I’m old!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: 🤭 Oh, you’re still quite the dapper, though. At any rate, time has flown by, and it’s insane to think about. It still feels like June when you and I came here and looked to help Dynasty become the undisputed A-show here in EAW. Now, it’s December, and look at how far we came. Ratings are high. Excitement is through the roof. Shows are packed to the point where venues need to extend seats. It all speaks for itself.
Richard Grant: (smirking) Well, I reckon it’s not just our charming personalities that brought Dynasty to this point. It’s the hard work of every member of the roster, the dedicated crew, and the unwavering support of our loyal fans.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: (nodding) Absolutely, Richard. It’s a collective effort, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished together. But tonight, as we stand on the verge of Road to Redemption, I can’t help but feel the anticipation building up. This event marks a crucial juncture in our journey.
Richard Grant: You said it, Kensingten. Road to Redemption has always been a turning point in EAW history, and next week’s event won’t be any different. It’s where careers are defined, rivalries reach their boiling points, and new opportunities emerge.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: And speaking of opportunities, we have an exciting announcement to make right here on Dynasty. As you all know, the Extreme Enigma Battle Royale is taking place, and as we and the other shows have discussed at length, it is an important match. This is not some random match and has never been. There is plenty of respect that must be shown as this match is in memory of the late great Extreme Enigma, and it’s a pivotal platform for many Elitists who may want to break out. This is perfect for those who have either signed with us recently or have been trying to find a solid footing throughout the season to finally take that crucial step in their career and leave a lasting mark.
Richard Grant: No doubt about it. It’s why we’ve spent a couple of weeks planning for it, picking the perfect Elitists to represent both themselves and Dynasty. Of course, it doesn’t hurt for us to have just an extra bit of bragging rights…
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: And the people we’ve picked are more than capable of winning. We have eight people in mind for this match, and we are more than confident that each one will have a breakthrough moment in the battle royale. They have demonstrated some impressive qualities, and just simply have the ‘it’ factor. Some are new while some have been here for a good while, familiar faces and names within this promotion, but regardless of experience, they have all been hand-picked by us for a good reason.
Richard Grant: That’s right. We’ve been closely watching the performances, the dedication, and the hunger of these Elitists. They’ve shown that they have what it takes to seize this opportunity and etch their names in the history books.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: The selection process wasn’t easy, but we believe in giving opportunities to those who have earned it. These eight individuals represent the future of EAW, and the Extreme Enigma Battle Royale will be their platform to shine.
Richard Grant: So, without further ado, let’s announce the eight Elitists who will be competing in the Extreme Enigma Battle Royale. First up, we have… is AIRI Evergarden. Quite the fearsome lady, she is. She has been absolutely impressive since she arrived, and while she did suffer her first lost last week, going toe to toe with the second-longest Specialists Champion in history in Milli Banks is no easy feat. AIRI brought a fight to her, and that right there shows us she has what it takes to be a big threat among the women here. Plus, she doesn’t seem to hold anything back verbally. Whew. That girl can definitely cut some people deep.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Speaking of women who can cut deep, the second entrant is none other than LILITH, a mysterious young woman who does not hold herself back. As we all saw, she scored her first win and a big one at that against MITSU, and there is something quite dangerous about her that I like. I think she’s going to be quite the problem for the rest of the field in the battle royale. She’s different. She’s odd, but in a good way. There’s a palpable mystique to her, and that could help her out in the match.
Richard Grant: Speaking of MITSU, he will be in the match as well. MITSU is a seasoned competitor, and we’ve seen glimpses of his resilience in the ring. Of course, people have had their worries about his motivation, but sometimes all it takes is one moment, one match, to reignite that fire, and the Extreme Enigma Battle Royale could be that spark for him. He’s got the experience, the skills, and the determination to make a significant impact. I like to thinkt hat given the whole KAI-ZEN situation, he’ll be all the more eager to show out here and garner some bit of revenge.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: And he very well could, because Prince Tohru and Mig De Decker will be in he Extreme Enigma Battle Royale!
(The fans go nuts for this announcement. A possible way of MITSU getting his revenge against the group that kicked him out has the crowd excited at the prospect! Kensingten and Richard smirk.)
Richard Grant: Now, that adds an interesting dynamic to the mix. Prince Tohru and Mig De Decker, the duo that’s been winning and jelping to make KAI-ZEN look like the big bad that may not be beaten for a long time. The Extreme Enigma Battle Royale just got a whole lot more intense with these two in the mix.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: It sure has, hasn’t it? They exploded onto the scene as a group a few months ago and have quickly made a nme for themselves. Mig has been here for a while before the formation of the group, and the talent was always there. He just needed to get to that next level, and with how things have turned out for them? I’d say it’s working. Still, for as dominant as KAI-ZEN have been lately, they’ve been a thorn in the side of many Elitists, and now they’ll be facing a horde of competitors all vying for that coveted win. It’s going to be a true test for Prince Tohru and Mig De Decker, and it’ll be fascinating to see how they navigate the chaos.
Richard Grant: Well, the boys often say they’re ready for any and all challenges, so hey, what’s one more like this for them? They could rise to the occasion, and with Shinzo Sasaki’s huge opportunity in the finals of the CITV tournament, there’s no doubt they aspire to win alongside their partner. Still, they have to deal with a lot of people, like BRAE who has quickly risen the ranks. A bit rough around the edges, but that’s a fine lad right there! Right up my alley.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: BRAE has shown that he’s not afraid to take risks and go toe-to-toe with some of the best in the business. He’s got that raw, unbridled energy that can be a game-changer in a match like the Extreme Enigma Battle Royale. Now, for the final two participants…
(Kensingten and Richard glance at each other, smiling. They then turn back to the camera.)
Richard Grant: The last spots will be filled by the two Elitists who loses in tonight’s main event match for the New Breed Championship.
(Another blockbuster announcement for the match! The fans can hardly believe it!)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: That’s right! The New Breed competitors have done a great job bringing a spotlight onto themselves to where they have earned this main event here tonight. However, as stinging and gutting as a loss tonight would be for the two Elitists that will fall short, that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. Any combination of Michael Machina, NOVA, and Cody Maverick can redeem themselves next weekend and win the whole battle royale to get momentum back on their side.
Richard Grant: That’s the beauty of the Extreme Enigma Battle Royale – it’s an opportunity for redemption. A chance to turn the tide and bounce back stronger than ever. Whether it’s Michael Machina, NOVA, or Cody Maverick, the road to redemption doesn’t end with tonight’s main event. It’s a continuous journey, and the battle royale is the perfect stage for them to reclaim their momentum.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: And let’s not forget the added drama it brings. The emotions running high after a championship match loss, the desire for a second chance, it all adds a layer of intensity to the Extreme Enigma Battle Royale. The fans are in for a treat as they witness these Elitists fight not just for the opportunity but also for redemption.
Richard Grant: Now that is why I love you and your mind, Kensi. You are just brilliant.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: And the same can be said for you, Richy. 😊
(A few audible groans can be heard from the fans.)
Richard Grant: Ha. You are far too kind to me. At any rate, the Extreme Enigma Battle Royale is already shaping up to be a classic. There is much to gain here, and we firmly believe that all of the participants representing Dynasty will go out there and kill it!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Absolutely, Richard. Each participant has a unique story, a journey that has led them to this moment. The Extreme Enigma Battle Royale is their canvas, and we have full confidence that they’ll paint a masterpiece of skill and determination. Now, it’s just waiting to see which one of them will emerge as the winner.
Richard Grant: So, to all the Elitists stepping into that ring, give it your all, leave nothing behind, and make it a performance to remember. Break a leg, Dynasty style!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: And to our loyal Dynasty fans, buckle up because the Road to Redemption is about to hit a whole new level. Next weekend is going to be incredible. I can hardly wait!
(The two chuckle. Thinking the camera stopped rolling, Kensingten wraps her arms around Richard.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: I can hardly wait for us to get back to our room.
Richard Grant: Oh? SOmeone sure is excited.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Don’t you know it. I can hardly contain myself when I’m with yo–
Camera Person: *Ahem.*
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: .
Richard Grant: .
(The two rolls their eyes and turn to them.)
Richard Grant: Okay, boy. Last week was fine, but can’t you take a hint already? Now, go on! Shoo! Let the grown folks have some peace and quiet, darn it!
Camera Person: Sure thing.
(The camera person laughs and gives a nod before discreetly leaving the room. Richard and Kensingten shake their heads, but they share a playful smile with each other.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Well, it seems we have a bit of privacy back.
Richard Grant: Finally! Now, where were we?
(As they share a laugh, the camera fades out, leaving the audience with a sense of relief before things got a little too heated. Besides, the excitement for the Extreme Enigma Battle Royale was palpable, so much so to the point where this time, no one cared about Kensignten and Richard’s PDA. The fans are fully immersed in the upcoming event, eagerly awaiting the chaos and excitement that will unfold. The camera fades in to the arena, showing the crowd buzzing.)
Stew-O: Love shenanigans aside, what a blockbuster announcement by Kensingten and Richard! AIRI! LILITH! BRAE! MITSU! Mig De Decker! Prince Tohru! And either Michael Machina, Cody Maverick, and NOVA will join as the final two participants depending on who wins later on tonight!
Jake Mercer: Hey, don’t knock them! It’s cuffing season! With how cold it is, everyone deserves a body they can cuddle with by the fireplace, nice and snug!
Flannery McCoy: Speaking from experience? :mjlol:
Jake Mercer: I am off the market. Still, I have my Andre Walker fleece pajama pants to keep me nice and warm for the winter. 😌
Flannery McCoy: Smooth segway there.
Jake Mercer: Thanks! In fact, now would be a goodtime to announce that on the EAW shop, we have Elitist-themed winter wear! Coats! Thermals! Leggings! Pajamas! Socks! Loungewear! Hats and accessories! Right in time for the holiday season! :blessed: Whether you’re gathering around with friends drinking some hot cocoa or having to brace the snowy elements, look elite while doing so!
Stew-O: Yep, all of that and more is available on the shop. We also have a limited-edition commemorative poster of Extreme Enigma available as well. A perfect way to remember his legacy, along with watching Road to Redemption next week to see who will win the Extreme Enigma Battle Royale!
Flannery McCoy: We do have some heavyweights in the field. Not a single person on the Dynasty side of the match can be considered a weak link whatsoever. Everyone offers something unique to the table that could make them a plausible winner. Not to mention that we have a huge story already as MITSU, Mig De Decker and Prince Tohru will all be involved. MITSU could get his revenge against his former teammates!
Jake Mercer: It’s going to be interesting to see if that will happen. Either way, I’m excited as everyone else for the match! This is going to be fun!
(As the commentary team wraps up, the camera focuses on the ring, where Stephie Love is seen on standby, ready to announce the next match!)
Stephie Love: The following contest is a Specialsts Chamber preview match scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
( ‘Monsters’ by Currents would hit the speakers of the arena to an explosion of boos, as Rory Slate would make her way out and onto the stage. She looked around at the crowd and just had a smirk on her face, as she began to make her way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: And her opponent! From Chicago, Illinois, weighing in tonight at 138 pounds, she is The ‘FALLEN ANGEL!!!!!’ RORYYYYYY SLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( Rory’s music fades out and ‘NIHIL’ by Ghostemane hits, and more boos come from the fans in attendance. Before long, Sally begins walking out to the stage, sporting a far more menacing look on her face. Sally doesn’t stay on the stage for long, beginning to head down the ramp as a sinister grin begins to form on her face.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first… From Death Valley, California… Weighing in at 137 pounds… SALE!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Flannery McCoy: This match is Specialist Champion Chamber preview, both of these women will be seeing each other later in the Chamber competing for a chance to win that Specialist Championship held by Bea Valentine. So this match is a first impression so to say, see what they are capable of and see where they need to improve to manage to get that win. A win also helps the confidence going into that match. Starting things off with a lock-up, Sally managed to use her strength to push Rory back to the ropes! But Rory, looking at the maneuver and her opponent back to the opposite side of the ring! Sally, quick to reverse the lockup into a headlock— SLAMMING HER DOWN! Sally keeping the pressure applied- WAIT RORY BRINGS HER LEG UP FOR A HEAD SCISSOR, TRYING TO LOCK SALLY’S HEAD! Sally with a kip-up, broke the hold! But running right into a headlock by Rory Slate!
Jake Mercer: This is what we need to see out of these women, the Specialist Championship is for the hard-working! People are ready to get into that ring and start working and pull out any trick they have to get that victory. We are seeing these women show their hand but not too much where they are left with nothing. Just enough to tell the people in the Chamber, they are not a pushover. Sally pushes Rory forward, RORY USING THE ROPES TO LEAP OVER SALLY AND LAND BEHIND HER! Great athleticism on display by Rory! Looking for her very own redemption, after coming up short of winning the title herself. Sally runs towards Rory, but Rory reverses it sending her to the ropes! Sally rebounding, Rory following in her footsteps- SALLY TURNS AROUND INTO A SHOULDER TACKLE! Rory knocking Sally onto the ground!
Stew-O: Rory showing that she is ready for that Chamber, she is ready to bring the fight to anyone who stands in her way. She is not taking doubt as an answer. Rory using Sally’s foot to roll her back to her feet, going for an Irish whip- SALLY REVERSES IT! Sally attempts a clothesline, RORY DUCKS! Attempts a back elbow but Rory grabs her arms looking for another Irish whip! Sally bounces back, LEAPS OVER, AND TRIES TO GET HER INTO A PIN- NO SLATE ROLLS THROUGH! Looking for a kick to the face, Sally is SWIFT grabbing that ankle and bringing her down! Picking at that ankle, looking for an ANKLE LOCK BUT RORY IS CLOSE TO THE ROPES! GRABBING ONTO THE BOTTOM ROPE TO BREAK THE SUBMISSION! Moves coming so quickly, I don’t think anyone saw that coming!
Flannery McCoy: Sally looking to capitalize- RORY LAUNCHING HER BACK WITH HER LEGS! Sally got back to her feet, Rory charged in with a strike but Sally grabbed her arm and TWIST AROUND INTO AN ARMDRAG! With the arm still held, Sally is rolling back up WAIT RORY REVERSES IT! SHE GOT AN ARMBAR LOCKED IN! I don’t think she has it all the way! I think Sally is trying to fight it- SHE BREAKS IT! Going back to the legs of Rory! SALLY WITH A BRIDGED LEG LOCK! Sally showing how capable she is in that ring, bring it out tonight, and could lead to a victory! Rory struggling, trying to get to the bottom rope for relief but it’s just too far out of reach! Rory might night have a choice but too- OH! A KICK BY RORY TO SALLY’S MIDSECTION! BRINGING HER DOWN! Sally might be a capable fighter but Rory has never failed to show how resilient she is in that ring.
Jake Mercer: Very resilient, always looking to prove herself! Getting back up and charging towards Sally- SALLY TRIPPING HER UP AND SENDING HER FACE FIRST INTO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE! Sally not wasting any time, grabbed Rory by the hair and sent SHOT! AFTER SHOT! To the back of Rory’s head with those elbows! Showing off a bit of that vicious side that she has. Now Sally with the VERTICAL SUPLEX! Slamming her down hard and sliding on top of her for a very hopeful pin!
ONE!
…
TWO!!
…
Stew-O: KICKOUT! A very hopeful pinfall by Sally seemed to have almost gotten her the result she wanted but Rory as we said. Very resilient, she will keep fighting until the very end and with a spotlight shining down on her. She is going to make sure that she leaves her with that win. Which seems to be getting to Sally, pushing down on Rory’s head and screaming at her. Sally might not want to poke the RORY WITH A JAB TO THE MIDSECTION! BUT SALLY COMES BACK WITH A CLUBBING BLOW TO THE SKULL! Knocking Rory down! Just trying to crush the spirit of Rory. Sally grabs Rory by the hair trying to lead her to the corner somewhere- WAIT RORY REVERSES! SLAMMING SALLY FACE FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLE! Rory getting some steam back, charging towards Sally into a corner- SALLY KICKING RORY AWAY!
Flannery McCoy: Sally slips out of the ring getting on that apron but Rory showing off that athleticism! Hoping onto the turnbuckle and jumping onto the apron with Sally! SALLY QUICKLY SLIDES BACK INTO THE RING USING THE BOTTOM ROPE! Sally just showing how quick she is! Looking to quickly take out Rory as she gets back into the ring- RORY GRABS SALLY AND LOOKS TO THROW HER OVER THE TOP ROPE! NO! SALLY MANAGES TO LAND ON THE APRON! Looks like she is safe from a painful- A STRONG FOREARM STRIKE BY RORY! Knocking Sally’s light out…but she is still holding on! Rory is going to use this to her advantage, bouncing off the ropes and towards Sally- ONLY TO GET HIT BY A KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! Stopping Rory’s momentum in her tracks…
Jake Mercer: Sally grabs Rory, getting her into the suplex position…what is she thinking?! Oh no, don’t tell me- SALLY LIFTING RORY AND HITTING A SUPLEX FROM THE APRON DOWN TO THE HARD FLOOR! Hurting both Sally and Rory- or so I thought. Look at Sally laughing manically, she is willing to throw her body on the line to hurt Rory. That isn’t someone you would want to face. If Sally doesn’t care about her own well-being, chances are she doesn’t care about Rory’s well-being.
Stew-O: Sally grabbing Rory by the hair and tossing her back into the ring, stalking Rory as she tries to stand up. She’s too dazed, I don’t even know if she has a clue where she is right now. Sally closing in on her prey and— RORY WITH THE LEG TRIP! SALLY CRASHING DOWN TO HER FACE! Giving Rory enough time to regroup, Sally back to her feet- WALKING INTO A KNEE STRIKE TO THE FACE BY RORY! Getting Sally on her back! Rory is finally control! Grabbing Sally and quickly getting her into the corner! Looks like she is trying to muscule her way to the top rope. Climbing up with her, looking for a suplex from the top- BUT SALLY STRIKING RORY! FIGHTING BACK- PUSHING RORY OFF THE TOP ROPE! Now Sally is getting to the top, looking for a big maneuver—
Flannery McCoy: DOUBLE STOMP TO THE BACK OF RORY! THAT HURT BACK OF RORY! SALLY CLIMBS ON TOP OF RORY! HOOKING THE LEG!
ONE!
…
TWO!!
…
THREEE!!!
Jake Mercer: THREE? NO THAT WAS A KICK OUT! SO CLOSE! SALLY FELT IT! VICTORY IS IN HER GRASP. Now arguing with the Refree who is trying to tell her it was a three count. Sally is just going have to accept that and— RORY IS BACK UP WITH A KICK TO THE GUT! SALLY IS HUNCHED- RORY WITH A KICK SENDING HER UPRIGHT! RORY BOUNCING OFF THE ROPES LOOKING FOR A CLOTHESLINE— SALLY QUICKLY CATCHES HER FOR THE BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! NO! RORY WITH THE DEXTERITY! LANDS ON HER FEET!
Stew-O: SALLY NOT EVEN REALIZING IT! SHE GOT CAUGHT— RORY WITH THE “GTFO”! PLANTING SALLY! RORY WITH THE PIN!
ONE!
…
TWO!!
…
THREE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…The ‘FALLEN ANGEL!!!!!’ RORYYYYYY SLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: An incredible match by both of the women ahead of their match at the Specialist Chamber! Even though Sally didn’t get the victory, people will now that come time for the match she will be someone to look out for! Both of them showing exactly why they are in that match.
Stew-O: I can’t wait see how they both show out when the time come, if they were pushing themselves like we seen tonight.
(Rory gets her hand raised as she plays to the crowd, the camera cuts to Sally, disappointed, in the corner watching Rory celebrate her victory. As the scene fades to black.)
(The scene fades from the aftermath of Rory versus Sally into a bif vignette featuring KAI-ZEN. Mig De Decker, Prince Tohru, and Shinzo Sasaki are all seen celebrating respectively inside the ring, having picked up some wins. The segment then breaks away from the calm, Japanese music playing in the background to the sound of laughter. That all-too-familiar cackle stems from none other than Ricky, the mastermind and manager behind the group. Compared to how serious he was, Ricky seems pleased based on his laugh’s tone.)
Ricky: We told you so.
(The scene offers a quick flashback of House of Glass and the match against Joso, Chris Elite, Myles, and Limmy Monaghan. Mig, Tohru, Shinzo and then-member MITSU all look disappointed as their opponents celebrate.)
Ricky: One loss was not going to be the death of us.
(It then cuts to Mig De Decker and Prince Tohru teaming up, being able to score some pretty important wins consistently since that event transpired.)
Ricky: I get it. We were bold. We were brash. We came in and demanded the world’s attention. Perhaps starting off with big goals would only lead to a big loss on ur part. Still, I told yu all that my men were going to rebound, and guess what? They did just that. KAI-ZEN was never going to truly end. While it would’ve been great to carry out our mission on the right foot, we’re still moving forward. We’re advancing. We are marching towards the top of the competition here in EAW, and this time, no one is stopping us.
(Shinzo can be seen taking on Ryan Wilson and Donovan, beating them, whereas Mig and Prince Tohru are able to get the win over Milli Banks and Ms. Extreme.)
Ricky: Not your champions…
(Mig and Prince Tohru later defeat Cody Maverick and NOVA.)
Ricky: Not your rising stars…
(A brief flash of Ricky’s smirk can be seen before everything focuses back on the three members of KAI-ZEN.
Ricky: No one.
(Then, the Aztec Stadium is highlighted before the words ‘Road to Redemption’ appear faintly behind it.)
Ricky: And Road to Redemption will be the perfect opportunity for us to redeem ourselves.
(The Cash in the Vault briefcase dangles in the air. Various competitors fight each other and rush for ladders all throughout the years. Past winners such as Xavier Williams, Jamie O’Hara, Raven Roberts, Darcy May Morgan, Myles, and Jake Smith are seen celebrating before the shot bleeds into a still where Shinzo Sasaki appears to be looking at Charlie Marr. It then shows the attack KAI-ZEN launched last week, paving way for Shinzo to stand tall over him.)
Ricky: Cash in the Vault is ours. Shinzo has absolutely dominated everyone he has wrestled. Ryan couldn’t beat him. Donovan couldn’t beat him. He advanced to the finals with the skills I knew he always had. He is showing off incredibly well just how much of a force he is, and before long, he will beat Charlie. With all due respect to the hall of famer, it is Shinzo’s time now. That briefcase practically has his name written all over it, and not even he can get rid of it.
(Shinzo looks confident as various highlights are shown from his matches.)
Ricky: KAI-ZEN, as expected, has made it to the end. The tournament. The briefcase. There is a lot to gain here, and we will take everything. However, that’s not the only thing we plan to have in our possession. After all…
(A few slow-motion shots show off Extreme Enigma. It then transitions into the ring with multiple Elitists in it, throwing each other over the top rope.)
Ricky: … There’s a certain battle royale coming up that’s quite important, isn’t it?
(Ricky grins.)
Rick: A perfect match to showcase the future of tomorrow. Well, you can’t have a future without KAI-ZEN, and Prince Tohru and Mig De Decker exemplify that potential.
(The aforementioned duo poses, looking directly into the camera before highlights of their own matches together and separately play out.)
Ricky: We may not have gotten an all KAI-ZEN final with the CITV tournament, but hey, we aren’t one to cry over spoiled milk. Especially not when we’ve gotten rid of its rancid taste.
(The attack, and subsequent discharge, of MITSU is seen. Fans in the arena can be heard booing as they see this.)
Ricky: With no one slowing us down, we can ascend to higher heights. Prince Tohru and Mig De Decker can and will make the battle royale ours. There’s no reason why it can’t be. I’ve seen their talents long before anyone else did, and what they offer is a lot. They are two of the most versatile, naturally gifted Elitists today, and I’m confident that together, they can bring us to victory. Whichever one wins it?
(Ricky shrugs.)
Ricky: Doesn’t matter to me. So long as one of them wins, that’s the most important bit – and mark my words, a member of KAI-ZEN will win the Extreme Enigma Memorial Battle Royale.
(He smirks. The vignette ends, and we get a shot of Ricky with Shinzo, Mig and Prince Tohru all coming around him as he sits on a chair. Crossing his leg over the other, the glasses-clad man brings his fingertips together, grin getting wider and wider.)
Ricky: At Road to Redemption, we will take everything. We will win in the end, and this time around, no one is stopping us.
(The three men then look at the camera and say:)
KAI-ZEN: No one.
(Ricky chuckles.)
Ricky: Now, that’s the spirit.
(All of them smirk before the segment fades to the ringside area, where the live broadcast of Dynasty continues on!)
( Friday Night Dynasty has returned from a commercial break, with the crowd back in their seats. The camera reveals Stephie Love standing tall at the center of the ring, with a microphone in her hand, ready to announce the upcoming competition. )
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(Friday Night Dynasty comes back in as ‘Pride and Arrogance by Takeru Kanazaki hits to a frenzy of boos. Drake Armstrong is seen making his way out to the stage, an arrogant expression on his face as he spreads his arms out. From there, he then begins to make his way down the ramp and to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… DRAKE ARMSTRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Even though he has a match against Chris Elite coming up shortly, it seems Drake is making his way out to give his thoughts on his opponent at Road To Redemption, Cy Henderson.
Flannery McCoy: Last week we saw Cy lay Drake out inside the ring after an attempt at an attack by Drake. We know that’s made him very unhappy heading into this, and given the proper opportunity, I’m sure he’ll get him back. But then again, maybe winning next week will be good enough for him.
Jake Mercer: Yeah! Drake! Screw the lower class! I support you!
(Drake makes his way up the steel steps and onto the apron. He enters the ring and takes a microphone from the ringside area while ‘Pride and Arrogance’ begins to come to a close. Heading toward the center of the ring, he then begins to speak.)
Drake Armstrong: What happened last week was a travesty. A hit to the Armstrong Dynasty name to allow a peasant like Cy Henderson to get the better of me and take me out. We are a week away from the Road To Redemption Marquee Event and I wanted to get on the microphone to make one thing painfully clear, I don’t care who or what Cy is. We’ve heard the stories of the past, the legend of what he’s been able to accomplish in Elite Answers Wrestling in what is looked at as a bygone era. But as you may already know, that time in his career is far gone. The Grand Rampage victory, the main event matches, and the World Championship reigns, all gone without a trace as he enters this company a shell of the man that he once was. To say that someone like that can size up to the best Elitist on Friday Night Dynasty is hysterical. So for him to have done what he did last week, laying his grubby hands on me and beating me down in an act of violence is something that I absolutely cannot tolerate, he thinks that he can shift the fabric of this very company by getting a win over me in our match, but he’s going to realize soon enough that the hierarchy in this company has already been established. While it’s subjective to who is where in that hierarchy, what is objective is that Drake Armstrong is miles above where the Cyclone is. Argue with it all you want, but everything happens for a reason, and I have gotten more than enough validation as to why I am BETTER than Cy Henderson in every single way!
(The crowd continues to boo but Drake shakes them off as he continues.)
Drake Armstrong: I am The Future for a reason, and he is The Past for a reason. While I lead a new generation of EAW and am being bolstered to be at the forefront for years to come, he is the person who is single-handedly holding back this new generation from thriving. He comes in and he wastes EVERYONE’S time with pointless matches that do nothing but feed that swollen ego of his and give him a reason to think that he is anywhere near a position of importance in this company. It’s disappointing, and I will say that it is about time that someone has decided to put their foot down and do something about it. Yes, we have seen the Cyclone face countless failures in the past, but the one thing that his victors have failed to do is put a permanent end to him. I will make sure to fix their mistakes and do what is best for this entire company. The last thing that we need is yet another fossil roaming around, taking opportunities from the needy and robbing them of their hard-earned work.
(Drake shakes his head in disappointment.)
Drake Armstrong: The only thing that Cy has done is take up space, and I want him to remember that once I beat Chris Elite tonight. I am going to absolutely desecrate him if it means sending a message to him. I will find myself with absolutely no regrets in doing so. Road To Redemption is my moment, my time in the sun, and I’m not going to have-
(Finally, after what seems like an eternity, ‘Tupac Back’ by Meek Mill hits the speakers. The crowd goes haywire for Cy Henderson as he makes his way out to the stage with a smile on his face. He hypes up the fans in attendance before looking at Drake Armstrong with an annoyed expression on his face.)
Stew-O: Here comes Cy Henderson, who doesn’t seem to take very kindly to what Drake is saying tonight.
Flannery McCoy: Especially after last week, I met he’s just counting down the days until he can beat the brakes off Drake Armstrong, and thankfully for him, that day inches closer and closer.
Jake Mercer: :goat:
Stew-O & Flannery McCoy: :comeagain:
Jake Mercer: What? With my Kaiser out I have to find my new muse.
(Cy slides into the ring, making his way over and taking a microphone from the ringside area. ‘Tupac Back’ then comes to a close as he begins to speak.)
Cy Henderson: I don’t plan to be out here for long. I feel like we’ve done enough butting heads with one another for a long time, so instead I’m looking to gauge you, Drake, if you don’t mind. These past couple of weeks you’ve shown the type of person you really are time after time again. You’re a snide, sneaky rat who is willing to do anything in order to get ahead in this company, and it’s admirable. In order to really make it in EAW you have to do everything to succeed, and that’s what you’re doing, and I’m not going to try and knock you for that. I do think given the right tools you can make it, but with that, it’s going to take an awful lot more time and patience in order to do it. You may have done me wrong, but the truth is, I don’t think you’re a bad Elitist at all, Drake. I do agree that you are an essential piece of the future that EAW seems to treasure so much. No matter what I may think about you, I can’t deny that you’re going to push me to my limit, so if you’re the man that I think you are, you’re going to shake my hand.
(Cy holds his hand out, offering a handshake between the two. Drake looks down at his hand, a sneer on his face while he does. He doesn’t need to think long about any of this as he brings his microphone back up while eyeing Cy as he does.)
Drake Armstrong: Get out of my face.
(Cy scrunches his face before putting his hand down, the crowd booing loudly for this while he does. Surprisingly, he doesn’t put up much of a fight, the only image that Drake can see is the EAW Hall of Famer smirking before he turns and begins to make his way out of the ring. Drake watches as he leaves, an uneasy expression on his face, but simply shakes his head as he takes off his entrance gear, from there beginning to prepare for his match as Friday Night Dynasty goes to a brief commercial break.)
(A commercial is shown for Hot Pockets.)
(‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke could be heard playing across the arena as Dynasty comes back, with some crowd cheering and booing as Chris Elite walks through the smoke and comes down at the entrance, looking up to Drake Armstrong already inside the ring. Elite gives him a stern look before jogging and sliding into the ring to come face to face with him. )
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
Stephie Love: ALREADY IN THE RING… FROM SCARSDALE, NEW YORK!… WEIGHING IN AT 260 POUNDS!… THE FUTURE!… DRAKKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRRMMMMMMMSSSSSTTTTTROOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stephie Love: AND HIS OPPONENT!… FROM BROOKLYN, NEW YORK!… WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS!… GAWD GIVEN GREATNESS!… CHRISSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… ELITEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! BOO THIS MAN! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Chris Elite has his match scheduled against Joso at Road to Redemption as well, and he has said that he has so much prepared for Joso at some point. Both men have been exchanging words, throwing fire and shade at each other for a while now, but all will settle once Road to Redemption has come down the line.
Jake Mercer: He can lose! Bronson Daniels too!
Flannery McCoy: I’m thinking that match is going to be super exciting to watch. Both athletes are exceptional, great. Chris Elite and Drake Armstrong. This is one hell of a matchup, and we shouldn’t take our eyes off this!
( DING DING DING! )
Stew-O: Drake Armstrong is once again set to face Chris Elite, both with significant goals at Road to Redemption. Drake is gearing up for a one-on-one competition against the legendary Cyclone, Cy Henderson. On the other hand, Hall of Famer Chris Elite has Joso in his sights. With formidable threats on both fronts, they must make the most out of this match to prove themselves against their competitors at Road to Redemption.
Jake Mercer: What is that old fart going to do with Joso anyway, especially when he can’t even figure out how to beat my certified GOAT Andre Walker? Are you serious? Why is there even a debate about whether Chris Elite will beat Joso or not? He’s in a bygone era, and this man isn’t as good as he once was!
Flannery McCoy: Anyway, before we get sidetracked, let’s refocus on the current situation. Armstrong charges right at the Hall of Famer from the beginning of this competition and puts Elite right back into his corner.
Stew-O: Shoulder tackles follow up with authority, and now Elite is stuck in the corner. Armstrong takes a moment, sending him rolling down to the center of the ring. A snapmare has Elite sitting by, and Armstrong makes a run… A KNEE FROM THE FUTURE COLLIDES WITH CHRIS ELITE’S SPINE!
Jake Mercer: He’s undoubtedly a man of class. Andre is renowned as the best in the world, the cream of the crop if you wish to say. Drake Armstrong? He has a SOLID reason to dub himself the Future. Cyclone doesn’t realize the trouble he just stepped into this week; it’s bound to be one unforgettable night that Cy will never forget! Ronan Malosi, Drake Armstrong, Andre Walker? Oh man, Dynasty is stacked with some of the best EAW has to offer!
Stew-O: Hey, I get it, you love singing big praises for those guys, but we need to focus on the match before anything else. Your monologue is starting to distract us. Armstrong has Elite under his control and starts using his right knee behind Elite’s back, grabbing the chin and getting a hold of it, pulling it right back. We can hear the cry of agony from both of Elite’s lungs just there. Armstrong makes sure he’s able to control the match well at the moment.
Jake Mercer: This is exactly what I’m talking about! What do kids call it these days? REAL GRAPS! CINEMA! PEAK! Yes, Drake Armstrong is the living embodiment of the term. Why? Every time he comes out here, professional wrestling is his life, and all the evidence in the ring? Let me tell you, Dynasty hit the jackpot by choosing this man for their brand because all you see is a stellar showcase of genuine professional wrestling. Any doubts about the Future? NAH NAH!
Flannery McCoy: Armstrong seems to make a change just there, now having Elite locked right in a hammerlock. Chris Elite might be finding it hard and fast to regain his speed and change the pace of this match to fit his style just there.
Jake Mercer: His style shouldn’t have anything to do with speed when the dude still can’t hold a candle to a tennis competition in the Global Senior Olympics. Chris Elite was good; he was the world champion, he made his way into the Hall of Fame, but the past is the past. We need to focus on the present, and right now, the old man needs to retire—that’s what really matters. Let’s be real, the GAWD contract doesn’t even deserve him.
Flannery McCoy: A strong hammerlock has Elite locked in tightly. Armstrong has him back up on his feet as well, but Elite looks to use his free hand to push Armstrong away.
Stew-O: It has been going on in repeat, and Armstrong begins to feint a little just there. Armstrong finally releases the hold, and holding down his chin, Elite wriggles out of the predicament and now squares off with Armstrong this time.… AN ARMDRAG BY ELITE! THE FUTURE HAS FALLEN!
Jake Mercer: How can you be taken down by this frail fuck up? Drake, fight back! Cy is going to be super disappointed in you if you keep letting us down!
Stew-O: Elite is back on a roll, and it’s going to amplify the size of the chip on Armstrong’s shoulder just there.
Flannery McCoy: The Future has fallen back down to the corner. Elite gets to his feet and shifts his focus right back to the situation, making a run towards Armstrong in the corner!
Stew-O: Armstrong manages to move out of the way just in time, and Elite stumbles after crashing himself into the corner!
Jake Mercer: SUCK IT, GRANDPA! MMM!
Stew-O: Armstrong quickly regains his composure immediately and stands tall just behind Elite. Elite stumbles back, and Armstrong goes for a double leg takedown. Elite ends up on the ground. What on earth is this man thinking?
( Armstrong strides toward Elite, using his right boot to thrust into Elite’s skull and shoves it away in a display of disrespect and mockery, following up with a massive negative reaction from the crowd towards the Future. )
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Jake Mercer: YES! YES! TALK TO THEM, MY MAN! THAT SON OF A BITCH DESERVES IT!
( Mercer jumps off his seat and stands tall, pointing and yelling at Drake like a proud parent, giving him a huge round of applause and a loud “WOOO WEE!” before settling back down. )
Stew-O: What the hell just happened?
Flannery McCoy: I think Jake’s vibe is really something else tonight for Drake Armstrong. However, given that this is Chris Elite’s match, he has a reason to do that no matter what. 🤦
Jake Mercer: Are you guys telling me that I’m the villain of this whole shebang? Come on! Drake Armstrong is what? THE FUTURE! You need to root for what’s most important for the wrestling business and the next generation to come! I don’t care if he’s a bad or good guy! He’s doing damn well for us! He’s making profits, PROFITS, you know what that means? Exactly!
Stew-O: Well, let’s just focus on the match again. Anyway, we’re back on track once more, with Drake Armstrong throwing taunts and disrespect at the crowd while Elite finds his way back to his feet. Armstrong now back around, and Elite is still rising back to his feet.
Flannery McCoy: An elbow finds its mark on the top of Elite’s head, followed by a right hand across his jaw. Elite is left stunned, and Armstrong seizes the opportunity, grabbing Elite’s wrist and hurling him toward the ropes, sending him to the opposite side of the ring. Elite bounces back as Armstrong aims for the moon… A HIGH KNEE TAKES ELITE DOWN! THERE GOES A COVER! REFEREE STARTS THE COUNT!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Stew-O: A quick kickout by Elite, and now Armstrong transitions into a side headlock, not taking his eyes off the competition. He’s showing his determination to win in a dominant fashion against Chris Elite.
Jake Mercer: He’s not taking him lightly! That’s what I want to see! If that chokehold could make Elite tap out right here tonight before he could even make it to Road to Redemption, that would be even better! He hurt my pancake-delicious king, Andre Walker! There will be no sympathy for this!
Stew-O: You and Ronan would make one hell of a tag team. Wanna run Chained Fury 2.0 with him?
Jake Mercer: Trust me, Stew-O, you think you’re super funny for making such a joke, but me and Ronan? If I could wrestle, we both would have been the greatest tag team champions in the history of Elite Answers Wrestling. Jaded Hearts would never wish to walk back into this company again while facing Jake-Ro.
Stew-O: Alright enough, I get i-
Jake Mercer: It’s nothing but their death wish to even think about the team of Ronan Malosi and Jake Mercer. We, as a tag team, would have given Andre Walker a better and greater life, much healthier and safer as well. None of the things that happened last week would have occurred because Ronan and I would have been there to put Jamie O’Hara back into retirement!
Stew-O: Can you mute him, Flannery?
Flannery McCoy: I don’t think I am allowed to do that even if I wish it to be possible! A side headlock has been holding Chris Elite for a little while now, but I think Armstrong was able to pay Elite back just there. A shot of a back elbow goes right into Elite’s gut hard and leaves him just there in pain. Elite manages to move out of the way, and another elbow goes right across the face of Drake Armstrong!
Stew-O: Elite seems poised to make another move, looking to advance once more. He throws another elbow in a spinning motion, sending Armstrong tumbling back down to the ropes.
Flannery McCoy: As Armstrong rebounds and connects with his own forearm, Elite manages to duck underneath. This time, he stands tall right behind Armstrong… A BACKSLIDE DRIVES DRIVES THE BACK OF ARMSTRONG’S NECK STRAIGHT TO THE GROUND! INTO A COVER BY CHRIS ELITE!
Jake Mercer: This is bullshit! Ref, he’s definitely cheating!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Stew-O: Drake Armstrong is able to kick out!
Jake Mercer: Yes, yes, don’t lose your focus just yet, kid. Do you see that old man in the ring? Look, go for those legs and poke his eyes until he’s blind. It’s very simple. He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, you know? Chris Elite is a dumbfounded individual. The elderly aren’t exactly rocket scientists for us brilliant minds to hang out with.
Flannery McCoy: The backslide driver is certainly giving Armstrong a run for his money. Now, Elite is regaining his footing, jumping over to the corner. He finds himself looking toward Armstrong, who is rising back to his feet and is now attempting to shoot him back down…. BOX OFFICE SMASH BY CHRIS ELITE!
Stew-O: Armstrong manages to catch that just in time, grabbing one leg! Elite is stuck, and Armstrong sends him off, flipping him back, with Elite landing on both feet, laid low on the ring’s canvas…. A BIG BOOT TURNS ELITE AROUND!… BOOM! HEADSHOT! PELE KICK IN RETURN TAKES ARMSTRONG TO BOTH KNEES!
Jake Mercer: SHIT! SHIT! COME ON, DRAKE! FIGHT BACK!
Flannery McCoy: Armstrong is definitely in trouble right after the kick has been delivered. The upper hand remains in Elite’s grasp, and now he’s back to his feet once more. Elite makes a dash towards the ropes, bouncing back towards Armstrong…
Stew-O: OPEN YA MATA! Bicycle knee strike is trying to connect, but Armstrong manages to catch it for the second time! He’s up on his feet, and a big right hand connects with Elite’s chin! Another right hand stuns him, and now Armstrong seizes the opportunity, driving a right knee straight in! Armstrong is back in the driver’s seat, and now Elite hits the mat after that snapmare move….
Flannery McCoy: A handstand movement leaves Elite standing tall on his feet! Elite skillfully avoids the oncoming move! Armstrong rushes in- Elite connects with a back kick straight to the gut… Following up with a Step-Up Enzuigiri! Armstrong falls once more! Elite quickly rolls back to his feet, making a run towards the ropes, bouncing back, and charging towards Armstrong at full throttle!-
Stew-O: WHAT A MASSIVE LARIAT TURNING ELITE INSIDE OUT! ARMSTRONG GOT HIM!
Jake Mercer: GOOD LORD! OH, YES BOY! REAL SHITS, BROTHER! REAL SHITS!
Flannery McCoy: Armstrong is not far from being done either, turning back around and lifting Elite back to his feet alongside him. Armstrong is able to seize Elite and toss him over his shoulder, now sending him off the ground and spinning all arounddddddddd…. A BEAUTIFUL URANAGE PLANTS! ARMSTRONG HOOKS THE LEG!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THR-
Stew-O: Kick out just in time, Chris Elite makes a save for himself!
Jake Mercer: Oh boy, it’s not gonna be a hot minute for Chris Elite! Drake Armstrong’s been cooking, ladies and gentlemen. Gordon Ramsay who? THIS IS THE FUTURE! Hell’s Kitchen’s in a deep freeze as the one and only serves up a perfect 10-star dish!
Flannery McCoy: That lariat, followed by a huge Uranage from Armstrong, has certainly put Elite right on the deck. It’s not shaping up to be a great night for Chris Elite if that’s the case.
Stew-O: Armstrong has made his way back on track once more, refocusing the situation with a determined expression. Seeing that Chris Elite isn’t going down easy, it’s time to play the hard way here. Now, Armstrong arches and simply waits for Elite to rise to the occasion.
Flannery McCoy: Elite has made his way back to his feet slowly, and Armstrong precisely aims. This could be it if he lands this. Armstrong isn’t willing to waste much time here, looking to hit the target perfectly, and here he comes! He’s running towards Elite!
Jake Mercer: CALL IT!
Stew-O: NO! ARMSTRONG WAS LOOKING FOR POWERFUL HALBERD FROM HELL! THAT NASTY DROPKICK ALMOST CONNECTED, BUT ELITE WAS ABLE TO CATCH HIM IN MID-RUN!
Jake Mercer: YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME-
Flannery McCoy: ELITE SETS IT UP!… SWINGING REVERSE STO! HE CALLED IT DEAD ROSES! THAT ONE SPIKES ARMSTRONG AND NOW ELITE HOOKS THE LEG!
Jake Mercer: SOMEBODY STOP THIS!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THR-
Stew-O: ARMSTRONG ABLE TO LIFT HIS SHOULDER OFF THE GROUND AT THE LAST SECOND!
Jake Mercer: YES! YES! IT’S NOT OVER YET, YOU FUCKING DICKHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: That was one hell of a counter from Chris Elite right there! It seemed like it was all over when Drake Armstrong set that up, but Elite managed to turn the tides, putting Armstrong on the verge of losing. Armstrong somehow survives the encounter. This has been an amazing match to witness between these two! More than a war, it’s a death-defying fight at the moment. Both need to showcase what they’ve got for their fearsome opponents. This is amazing!
Jake Mercer: Amazing? Awesome? No, that’s just Drake Armstrong, silly!
Stew-O: Elite, who was able to take Armstrong down big time, now knows he has a big shot to end this match earlier. Looking up to the top and seemingly ready to put an end to this, Elite heads all the way up to the top turnbuckle, and he keeps on moving.
Jake Mercer: Hey, what’s this? NO NO NO NO! I CAN’T LET THIS HAPPEN! REF! STOP HIM!
Flannery McCoy: He’s reaching the height of readiness, and Armstrong is entirely out of it! He’s got nowhere to move as Elite positions himself on the top turnbuckle! This could be it! Elite is on the top, both feet standing tall! Chris Elite!….
Stew-O: AIMING FOR THE MOON!
Flannery McCoy: DIVING RIGHT INTO THE KNEES! THE SWANTON 450 SPLASH FAILED TO CONNECT PRECISELY ON ARMSTRONG, AND HERE COMES THE FUTURE! PACKING ELITE UP WITH A SMALL PACKAGE, HE’S GOING FOR A COVER!
Stew-O: THE REFEREE SLIDES IN, AND THIS MIGHT BE IT! ARMSTRONG HAD THAT ONE TRICK LEFT UP HIS SLEEVE, AND HE JUST UTILIZED IT!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE-
Jake Mercer: LET’S FUCKING GO! RIPBOZO!
Stew-O: ALMOST! ALMOST! ELITE IS ABLE TO KICK OUT AT THE VERY LAST SECOND!
Jake Mercer: THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! COME ON, DRAKE! PUT HIS BALD ASS TO SLEEP!
Flannery McCoy: A sudden small package has left the crowd at the edge of their seats just there. Armstrong almost managed to pull this off and beat Chris Elite completely! This match has been a rollercoaster, and the real victor is still up in the air! Both contenders have given their all, making it a nail-biting journey! I have been on the edge of my seat awaiting the grand finale! It’s a real cliffhanger! the outcome is anyone’s guess!
Jake Mercer: What do you mean this is hard to predict? Drake Armstrong defeats Chris Elite; THAT is the ending!
Stew-O: Elite with a subtle thrust, gracefully driving himself into those knees and now rising back to shift gears. Armstrong has made his way back up on unsteady feet as well, quickly seizing Elite from behind! Elite has no choice just there, and he has been hooked up!… A GERMAN SUPLEX BY THE FUTURE!
Jake Mercer: YES! And now, look, The Future isn’t looking to let that slide easily; he’s not over yet! Rolling back upon his feet as well, and now, he’s cinching that punching bag up! Get him, Armstrong! Show him what you’ve got!… SLEEPER SUPLEX! THERE WE GO! NOW FINISH HIM!
Flannery McCoy: Two suplexes dropping Elite twice, and now Armstrong finds his way back to roll onto his feet, this time, it seems to get a bit slower. Both men are beginning to feel the effects of the competition just now!
Stew-O: Armstrong still longing for a fight and looking to paint a picture where he’s climbing for a mount. Armstrong starts to get up on his feet once more and now has Elite locked in… CHOKEBOMB AT THE CENTER OF THE RING! INTO A COVER!
Jake Mercer: OH HELL YEAHHHHHHHHH!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE-
Stew-O: BUT CHRIS ELITE IS STILL ABLE TO KICK OUT!
Jake Mercer: No, Drake, you’ve got it all wrong. You’re almost there. You need to kick him in the gut and make sure he doesn’t make it to the Road to Redemption! Now, let’s go, setting up for the finale once more! Yes!
Stew-O: Don’t seem like Armstrong entirely going for the finale just there, but he’s shifting into it this time. He’s picking Elite back up to his feet at the center of the ring, and it looks like with his mind set on it.
Flannery McCoy: Here goes Armstrong, looking down upon Elite. Elite isn’t even moving a bit, and this could be it! Armstrong has a hold locked in tight, and he’s looking to put an end to this!… LOOKING FOR DEATH PENALTY! GOTCH STYLE PILEDRIVER!
Stew-O: Those legs remain alive and shaky; Elite was able to find his way out and slowly bring both feet to the ground, desperately escaping from the hold. Quickly, he delivers a hard right hand across Armstrong’s face!
Flannery McCoy: Armstrong falls back against the ropes and looks to bounce back—here comes another lariat! Watch out, Chris!
Jake Mercer: COME ON, DRAKE! FINISH THE JOB!
Stew-O: SNOOZE BY CHRIS! LEGENDARY TYSON’S UPPERCUT KNOCKS ARMSTRONG BACK TO THE ROPES AGAIN! Armstrong falls, and he bounces back once more, moving down towards Elite like a zombie. Elite just sends him right up onto his shoulders, taking control over him… MOMENT OF CLARITY! A FIREMAN’S CARRY DROPPED INTO A ROUNDHOUSE KICK!
Flannery McCoy: Armstrong on his feet, and he was able to duck beneath that kick just in time, now quickly going under Elite’s shoulder, throwing his arm over!… A BACK SUPLEX BUT ELITE ABLE TO LAND ON BOTH FEET! Armstrong notices that something was wrong, and turns around! Elite lifts his right kick, and here he goes!…
Jake Mercer: HEY HEY! NO! BLOCK IT!
Stew-O: BOX OFFICE SMASH SHUTS THE FUTURE DOWN!
Flannery McCoy: Armstrong is able to catch it once again and now quickly seizes the leg, lifting him up high into the air!… BY THE BOOTSTRAPS! BY THE BOOTSTRAPS! A SHINEBREAKER GOT CHRIS ELITE!
Jake Mercer: YES! THAT’S IT! HE’S DONE! NOW GO FOR THE PILEDRIVER AGAIN, DRAKE!
Stew-O: Drake has fallen to the ground, and he’s not going to move around anytime soon! Elite rises back on his feet, but one leg still hurts. Armstrong has everything under his control, and now he’s making a run out of the corner! That might be it!… HALBERD FROM HEL-
Flannery McCoy: HOLY COW!
Jake Mercer: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Stew-O: WHAT A SHOT! OPP SHOTTER! VICIOUS SWINGING BACK ELBOW JUST KNOCKS ARMSTRONG FROM THE FRONT!
Flannery McCoy: IF YOU CAN’T USE YOUR LEGS BUT YOUR ARMS ARE ALL FINE, THAT’S ONE HELL OF A WAY TO PUT YOUR OPPONENT DOWN! ARMSTRONG HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN BY A HARD SWINGING BACK ELBOWTHAT PACKED WITH AUTHORITY! ELITE DROPS INTO A COVER!
Jake Mercer: KICK OUT! COME ON! DON’T LET ME DOWN!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE-
Stew-O: A SHOULDER BARELY OFF THE GROUND! DRAKE ARMSTRONG ISN’T LOOKING TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!
Jake Mercer: RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: This has been one hell of a match for the go-home show tonight! I have no idea who’s truly going to walk back home with a victory tonight! These matches have been super intense! Once again, Drake Armstrong kicks out. Once again, Chris Elite kicks out! Who exactly will emerge as the winner of this match tonight?!
Jake Mercer: DRAKE ARMSTRONG! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU?!??!?!?
Stew-O: Elite surely has it all just there, and he’s not going to waste any time further heading into the competition. Elite finds his way to get back upon his feet and now heading all the way up to the top just there. Elite, once again on the ropes, and Armstrong could barely move at the moment. This might be Chris Elite’s night to seal victory over Drake Armstrong! Here he goes for it!
Flannery McCoy: AIMING FOR THE MOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Wait, someone just bashed a steel chair on Chris Elite’s back, causing him to fall off the top corner! Joso! Joso is here! He’s just landed an attack on Chris Elite! OH YES! GET HIS ASS, BIG MAN!
( DING DING DING! )
Stephie Love: Here is your winner by disqualification!… CHRIS ELITE!
Stew-O: I DON’T THINK THAT’S REALLY A MATTER ANYMORE AT THE MOMENT! ANOTHER CHAIR SHOT AFTER CHAIR SHOT IS NOW LANDING, COLLIDING WITH ELITE’S BACK, AND HE’S ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE TO GO RIGHT NOW!
Flannery McCoy: ELITE IS IN SERIOUS TROUBLE, AND JOSO HAS JUST KEPT LANDING MORE AND MORE ASSAULTS AND ATTACKS! THIS IS BECOMING BRUTAL RIGHT NOW! JOSO NOW TOSSES THE CHAIR AWAY, AND HERE COMES ARMSTRONG! BOTH MEN JOIN IN, AND NOW THEY ARE BEATING THE HELL OUT OF CHRIS ELITE! SOMEONE NEEDS TO MAKE A SAVE!
Jake Mercer: HAHAHHAHAHAHAH! I LOVE IT! GET THEM, KIDS! OLD MAN NEEDS SOME LESSON TO BE TAUGHT!
(‘Tupac Back’ by Meek Mill (Feat. Rick Ross) hits, eliciting a huge cheer from the crowd. Shock and surprise can be seen on both Joso and Armstrong’s faces once they turn their attention towards the stage.)
Stew-O: HERE HE COMES!
Flannery McCoy: CYCLONEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: WHO LET THIS IDIOT IN???? SOMEONE GET HIM! GO DRAKE!
Stew-O: Henderson runs towards him and now he goes into the ring. Armstrong charges at him, but he’s being stopped with a huge right hand that caught him! Henderson takes Armstrong down. Armstrong backs up and tries to strike him, but he’s being caught for the second time!… PHANTOM DEATH TAKES THE FUTURE OUT! MICHINOKU DRIVER!
Flannery McCoy: But here comes Joso! Joso quickly lands a huge attack on Cy Henderson, and Henderson is now down to both knees, shots after shots keeping the Cyclone himself down! It’s not looking great there, and maybe Joso might be able to finish him off right there! NOW PICKING HIM UP, LOOKING FOR THE GRATEFUL DEATH, PUTTING THE LEVERAGE TO SEND HIM OFF!
Jake Mercer: YES! TAKE HIM OUT!
Stew-O: NO! HENDERSON IS ABLE TO ESCAPE, AND HE’S RIGHT BEHIND JOSO! JOSO TURNS AROUND TO LAND THE ATTACK, BUT HE’S BEING CAUGHT! JOSO IS NOW BEING LIFTED OFF THE GROUND!… DOWNWARD SPIRAL!
Flannery McCoy: JOSO IS ABLE TO ESCAPE JUST IN TIME AND QUICKLY NAILS HENDERSON WITH AN ENZUIGIRI! HENDERSON IS STUNNED, AND JOSO RUNS IN QUICKLY TO SET HIM UP ONCE MORE! HEAVEN’S GATE IS LOOKING TO SHUT HENDERSON DOWN!
Jake Mercer: WATCH OUT, JOSO!
Stew-O: NO! BOX OFFICE SMASH FROM CHRIS ELITE, BUT JOSO IS ABLE TO GET OUT OF HARM’S WAY, ROLLING TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING ONCE HE RELEASES CY HENDERSON FROM HIS GRASP! THAT WAS ONE HELL OF A ENDING JUST THERE! WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE BOTH MATCHES OCCURRING AT ROAD TO REDEMPTION: JOSO VS. CHRIS ELITE, DRAKE ARMSTRONG VS. CY HENDERSON. ROAD TO REDEMPTION IS GOING TO BE ONE HELL OF A NIGHT!
( Elite stops by the ropes, looks down to Joso, and walks away while holding down his chin. Armstrong rises back to his feet, looking up to Cy Henderson right beside him. ‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke plays as Joso and Armstrong glance at each other, both men mumbling, and then look up at those in the ring. Henderson slowly backs away, shifting with Elite checking on him. Both men assess each other as they slowly look up, fist-bumping each other. The camera then cuts back to Armstrong and Joso, visibly pissed before they walk to the back. )
(A commercial is shown for Drake Armstrong versus Cy Henderson at Road To Redemption.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR… ONE FALL!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
(‘El Gavilan’ by Luis R Conriquez, Peso Pluma, y Tony Aguirre plays out La Familia, which includes Roberto De La Rosa, Valerie Hellstorm, and Luis De La Rosa. They all stand on the stage area, waiting for the arrival of Charlie Marr, who comes out to ‘It Ain’t Safe’ by Skepta. Both Marr and Roberto exchange glances before sauntering down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! At a combined weight of 465 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Valerie Hellstorm and Luis De La Rosa of La Familia… THE TEAM OF ROBERTO DE LA ROSA AND CHARLIE MARR!
(‘Arkadia’ by BABYMETAL plays, and KAI-ZEN are next to arrive, focused etched across their faces, and a stoic expression on Shinzo’s as he looks toward the man he’ll be facing at Road to Redemption, Charlie Marr.)
Stephie Love: And their opponents! At a combined weight of 423 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Shinzo Sasaki and Ricky…THE TEAM OF PRINCE TOHRU AND MIG DE DECKER… KAI-ZEN!
(Both Roberto and Tohru stare one another down from opposing corners as the referee signals the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: Alright, the bell has rung, and starting things off, it’ll be Prince Tohru and Roberto De La Rosa locking horns. Both competitors circle each other, and initiate a collar and elbow tie-up in the center! Tohru gets the advantage over Roberto, backing him into the corner, and delivering a quick SHOT TO THE GUT!
Flannery McCoy: Roberto doubles over, stunned momentarily, and gets irish whipped to the opposite corner! Tohru charges in after him, BUT ROBERTO GOES UP AND OVER TOHRU IN THE CORNER, AND ROLLS THROUGH TO HIS FEET IN THE CENTER! TOHRU DASHES TOWARD ROBERTO, BUT GETS CAUGHT WITH A SCHOOL BOY!
ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Stew-O: HERE COMES TOHRU- NO! TOHRU RUNS RIGHT INTO AN ARM DRAG! BOTH COMPETITORS RUSH BACK TO THEIR FEET, AND TOHRU RUNS INTO ANOTHER ARM DRAG! AGAIN, BOTH MEN ARE BACK TO THEIR FEET- AND TOHRU SHUTS THINGS DOWN WITH A KICK TO THE GUT!
Flannery McCoy: Roberto goes down to a knee, and overwhelmed, Tohru tags out to Mig!
**TAG!!**
Jake Mercer: In comes Mig De Decker, and we’ll see if he has better luck than Toh- WAIT! MIG CHARGES INTO AN ARM DRAG! Roberto transitions into a kneeling armbar, grounding his opponent momentarily. That is until Mig powers back to his feet, and Roberto wrings the arm, gaining control of the wrist before reaching out to Charlie.
**TAG!!**
Flannery McCoy: Tag is made, and in comes Charlie Marr for the first time in this match up, wringing the arm of Mig now, and taking control of the wrist. OOH! Mig scores with a kick to the gut, breaking the hold, and quickly tags out to Tohru.
**TAG!!**
Stew-O: Tohru quickly enters the ring, and grabs the back of Marr’s neck, BUT MARR SHIFTS THE MOMENTUM, AND SLAMS TOHRU FACE FIRST OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO-
Jake Mercer: Almost a two count, but Tohru manages to kick out! You can see that Shinzo and Ricky are watching closely, and I wonder what’s going through their mind right now.
Stew-O: Well, I’m no mind reader, especially when it comes to Shinzo Sasaki. But I’m sure these two have full faith in both Mig and Tohru to bounce back. They’ve been struggling a bit while up against Marr and Roberto, who have done a great job working as a team, showcasing their desire to win this match. But remember, they’re not official tag team, and all KAI-ZEN needs is that sliver of opportunity, for one of them to make a mistake.
Flannery McCoy: Well said. Tohru tries getting back to his feet, but gets grabbed in a front facelock. AND TOHRU DRIVES ROBERTO BACK FIRST INTO HIS CORNER!
**TAG!!**
Flannery McCoy: TAG! Mig tagged Tohru on the back, and with Roberto pinned in the corner, that shoulder of Tohru being driven into his midsection, MIG STARTS TO UNLOAD WITH RAPID FOREARMS ON A DEFENSELESS DE LA ROSA! Mig and Tohru both grab an arm, and lean Roberto up against the ropes for a double irish whip!
Stew-O: But whatever they had planned is halted as Roberto hangs onto the ropes!
**TAG!!**
Stew-O: Charlie tags Roberto on the back, AND MIG CHARGES DE LA ROSA! ROBERTO SIDESTEPS, AND SENDS MIG OUT THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE! NEXT, TOHRU RUSHES IN- BUT RUNS RIGHT INTO A BIG BOOT FROM DE LA ROSA, STAGGERING HIM TO THE OPPOSITE SET OF ROPES! CHARLIE ENTERS THE RING, AND CLOTHESLINES HIM UP AND OVER THE TOP!
Flannery McCoy: Charlie steps out the way as Roberto runs off the ropes for a SUICIDE DIVE! MIG DE DECKER COLLIDES BACK FIRST WITH THE BARRICADE, AND GETS ROLLED BACK INSIDE THE RING! CHARLIE PULLS MIG TO HIS FEET, AND DECIDES TO PLANT HIM IN THE CENTER OF THE RING WITH A SIT-OUT POWERBOMB, HOLDING IT FOR A COVER!

Stew-O: BUT ROBERTO SEES IT COMING, AND THRUSTS HIS SHOULDER INTO MIG’S ABDOMEN! ROBERTO ATTEMPTS TO SPRINGBOARD- BUT TOHRU GRABS HIS ANKLE, AND YANKS HIM DOWN, CAUSING ROBERTO HIT FACE FIRST ON THE APRON!
Jake Mercer: Roberto writhes in pain on the outside, and Tohru hops up on the apron, extending his hand for a tag out to Mig!

KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE BACK OF DE LA ROSA BY TOHRU, AND BOTH THE PRINCE AND MIG CONNECT WITH SHOOT KICKS TO EITHER SIDE OF ROBERTO’S BODY! MIG PULLS ROBERTO BACK UP, AND TAGS BACK OUT TO TOHRU!
**TAG!!**
Flannery McCoy: UH OH! TOHRU ASCENDS TO THE TOP ROPE AS MIG HOISTS ROBERTO UP FOR A BACK SUPLEX! TOHRU CONNECTS WITH THE MISSILE DROPKICK, AND MIG DROPS INTO A BACK SUPLEX! CRIMSON DAGGER LANDS! AND TOHRU QUICKLY CRAWLS INTO THE COVER!

Stew-O: Tag by Mig, who enters the ring, and continues stomping Roberto down in the corner as well! Roberto’s head is leaned back against the bottom turnbuckle, his eyes clearly a bit glazed over, and Mig takes a moment to taunt Charlie Marr on the apron before turning his attention back to the opponent.

ROBERTO THRASHES AROUND, ATTEMPTING TO BREAK FREE, BUT MIG SPINS AROUND, TURNING TOWARDS TOHRU, WHO CHARGES ROBERTO WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! MIG CONNECTS WITH THE GERMAN SUPLEX, DUMPING ROBERTO HIGH ON HIS NECK AND SHOULDERS, AND TOHRU CRAWLS INTO THE COVER, HOOKING THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHHHRRRRRRRREEEEE-
Jake Mercer: KICKOUT! But Tohru transitions into a rear chinlock on Roberto, grinding the opponent down, and possibly conjuring up his next strategy.
Stew-O: Luis and Valerie can be seen pounding on the apron on the outside, rallying behind Roberto, who begins powering back to his feet. Roberto loosens Tohru’s grip with repeated back elbows to the midsection, BUT EATS A KNEE TO THE GUT! Tohru sends Roberto into the corner, and tags out to Mig!
**TAG!!**

MIG TRIES FOR A CLOTHESLINE, BUT MARR DUCKS UNDERNEATH, AND CHARGES AT TOHRU, WHO WAS ATTEMPTING TO PULL HIMSELF UP ON THE APRON, BUT IS KNOCKED OFF WITH A RUNNING KNEE STRIKE!
Flannery McCoy: MARR TURNS ATTENTION BACK TOWARDS MIG, AND GRABS HOLD OF HIM- BUT MIG EXPLODES WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK! MARR IS ON WOBBLY LEGS, AND MIG RUNS OFF THE ROPES INTO A SPINEBUSTER! HEADMASTER RITUAL BY MARR! COVER IS MADE, HOOKING THE LEG!

Bella Braxton: HERES YOUR WINNERSS… THE TEAM OF CHARLIE MARR AND ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!
(‘It Ain’t Safe’ by Skepta plays to a mixed reaction from fans as Charlie Marr unhooks the leg of Mig De Decker-)
Stew-O: OH WAIT! IMMEDIATELY, SHINZO SASAKI IS ON THE ATTACK, MOUNTING MARR WITH RIGHT HANDS!
Flannery McCoy: ROBERTO RUSHES INSIDE THE RING, AND PULLS SHINZO OFF, THROWING HIM INTO THE CORNER FOR RIGHT HANDS OF HIS OWN!

Stew-O: SUPERKICK BY LUIS TO SHINZO, TURNING HIM AROUND FOR ANOTHER SUPERKICK TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD, WHICH SENDS SHINZO OUT THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE!
Jake Mercer: A STUNNED MIG DE DECKER PULLS HIMSELF UP, BUT GETS CLOTHESLINED OVER THE TOP BY MARR! LA FAMILIA AND MARR JUST CLEARED HOUSE, MUCH TO THE CHAGRIN OF KAI-ZEN, ESPECIALLY RICKY!
Flannery McCoy: TONIGHT, MARR IS STANDING TALL, BUT WILL THAT BE THE STORY COME ROAD TO REDEMPTION?!
(La Familia and Charlie Marr stare daggers into KAI-ZEN as they slowly backpedal up the ramp, opting to retreat, but are clearly irate with how things went as the camera fades elsewhere.)
(A commercial is shown for Charlie Marr versus Shinzo Sasaki in the finals of the Cash in The Vault tournament.)
(Back from commercial break, ‘It Follows’ by Cane Hill hits, and immediately the fans in attendance begin to boo extremely loudly. The boos only grow louder as time goes on, as Xander Payne begins walking out to the stage, sporting a smug grin on his face. He is holding a microphone in his hand as he walks down the ramp, and he doesn’t pay much attention to the reaction he’s being given from the fans in attendance.)
Stew-O: I don’t know how Xander can be so proud of himself after everything he’s done these last few weeks, but here we are. Xander Payne will face his own former partner Ryan Wilson at the Christmas show following Road to Redemption.
Jake Mercer: I think you’re forgetting one important detail. It will be an UNSANCTIONED MATCH!
Flannery McCoy: That’s right. These two have the chance to tear each other apart, and I don’t really have any doubts that they’ll do that. After everything that’s happened, I don’t think they have a choice. :lupe:
(Xander slowly walks up the steel steps before entering the ring. As his entrance music fades out he takes a moment and takes in the reaction from the crowd before slowly raising the microphone. The grin on his face widens, and he begins to speak.)
Xander Payne: Ryan Wilson’s pretty overdramatic, isn’t he?
(As expected, this causes even more boos to come from the fans. This isn’t a surprise to Xander given everything he’s done to Ryan, but he continues anyway.)
Xander Payne: No no no, just hear me out. Take some time and actually think about what happened these last few weeks. Think about what I actually did. I paid a visit to Ryan’s residence over in Canada. I attacked some interviewer. That’s all, right? Are those all the major events? Well, in case you all forgot, that alone was enough to make Ryan snap. I gave his mother a nice little push, and that broke him. I made him watch as I destroyed Michael Belfort, and that was enough to make him do something he’s going to regret very soon- hell, something he might already regret. These last few weeks, I have found a new home inside Ryan Wilson’s head, and thanks to that, Ryan has put me in a position where I’ll be able to do whatever I want to him without anyone getting involved. No rules can stop me. No referees can disqualify me. I’ll be able to tear Ryan apart, so if he can’t even live with me paying his family a visit, how is he going to live with what I do to him in two weeks?
(The boos continue, and by this point, Xander has dropped the act, no longer smiling and showing the more serious side of himself.)
Xander Payne: I’m not just any other person on the roster. I am a Hall of Famer. I am one of the greatest of all time, and I’ve made a career out of doing whatever it takes to get what I want. Whether it was for Championship gold or simply to send a message, I have done some horrific things, things that make a home visit look like child’s play. I can and have done worse, and Ryan needs to understand that. YOU need to understand that. You all continue to support him, but you’re leading him right to his grave. I can go to a level no other Elitist has ever gone to in order to get the job done, and trust me, when we get in the ring for that unsanctioned match I plan to do exactly that. I plan to go to that level, because it is my DESTINY to right the wrongs of House of Glass. It is my destiny to get one over on Ryan in a way that will never be forgotten. I don’t just plan to beat Ryan, I plan to ruin his career. I plan to push him to the point of no return. After what I do to Ryan there will be no redemption, there will be no recovery, there will be absolutely nothing. Ryan did this to himself, and soon enough, this ends along with his career.
(The boos continue, but not for long. The titantron lights up, and this catches Xander’s attention. He turns over to the stage, and on the titantron is footage of Ryan Wilson. He seems to be holding a camera, filming himself as he is walking in an undisclosed location. As soon as Ryan appears on the screen the fans begin to loudly cheer, and Xander doesn’t look happy. He’s not the only one though, as Ryan Wilson after hearing what Xander had to say. He begins to speak as he continues walking.)
Ryan Wilson: You just don’t get it, do you? You tried to make my life a living hell over these last few months and you think you’re just gonna get away with it? We’re far past what happened back at Territorial Invasion, Xander. You betrayed me. You stabbed me in the back and in turn I beat you back at House of Glass, but now you crossed the line and if there’s ANYONE reaching the point of no return, it’s you. You dragged my family into it. You attacked people who had nothing to do with either of us. You’re determined to break me and ruin me, but we only have two weeks left, Xander. Two weeks until that unsanctioned match, and once that Christmas show comes around I won’t be holding anything back. I’ve been counting down the days until I could get my hands on you, and trust me, I WILL show you just how big of a mistake you made!
(There are loud cheers coming from the crowd, and a grin just appears on Xander’s face as he shakes his head, unimpressed.)
Xander Payne: Right, of course you will! You’re going to get revenge and make the big bad Xander regret ever hurting you! Grow up, Ryan. You’re about to get in the ring with the best wrestler in the world, and you think things are gonna go your way for a second time? There’s a reason you’re in this position right now. You had no idea who you were dealing with from the start. Even now you don’t get it, which is why you haven’t backed out of this match and ran away yet. Don’t worry though, there’s still time for you to rethink this. Like you said, you have two weeks until you’re stuck in an unsanctioned match with the most dangerous man in the business.
Ryan Wilson: You can call yourself whatever you want, but once that Christmas show rolls around you won’t even be the most dangerous man in that ring. I told you Xander, you crossed the line. You messed up and you’re going to pay for it one way or another. I already told you that I was prepared to drag you right down to hell with me, and I meant every part of that. I’m going to tear you apart, and I’m going to make sure you learn that you NEVER mess with my family. All you had to do was move on and we could’ve avoided all of this, and instead you went and you made things worse for yourself. I already beat you once before and that was only a month ago. What happens at that Christmas show will be a thousand times worse and when it happens, the entire world will agree with me when I say YOU did this. You started this whole mess. You forced me to do this, and only two weeks away from that night you’re standing there proud of what you’ve done. Trust me, what happens at that Christmas show, you had it coming.
Xander Payne: And why should I, or anyone else here take any of those threats seriously? You’re a coward, Ryan. You couldn’t do anything about me showing up to your place. You couldn’t do anything about me attacking Michael Belfort. Now there you are- WHEREVER you are, completely avoiding me. What are you even doing right now, going for a walk? What, you need to clear your mind before I destroy you in two weeks? Is that it?
(The fans boo, but Ryan doesn’t look bothered by Xander’s comments. Instead, a smirk appears on his face as he begins to respond.)
Ryan Wilson: You know what? Yeah, you can say I’m taking a walk. I’m not doing it to clear my mind, though. This walk isn’t about the journey, it’s about the destination. You want to know where that destination is?
(Xander looks confused, and after a moment Ryan turns the camera around, revealing that he is actually inside of the Desert Financial Arena, the location for tonight’s Dynasty. This causes the crowd to explode with cheers, meanwhile Xander looks shocked. After a few seconds, Ryan turns the camera back towards himself.)
Ryan Wilson: I’ll see you soon. Very soon.
(After this, the titantron screen shuts off. The fans in attendance are cheering, meanwhile Xander can’t believe it. Xander throws down his microphone, looking around to try and spot Ryan Wilson before he could get to him.)
Stew-O: :lupe: It looks like Xander may have messed up after all! Ryan Wilson is actually right here in the Desert Financial Arena! Somewhere in this building, Ryan Wilson is headed towards Xander Payne!
Jake Mercer: Xander is looking for Ryan, but this is a large arena! Ryan could end up walking directly down that ramp, or he could come through the crowd! Xander may have bitten off more than he could chew, and that doesn’t happen to him often!
Flannery McCoy: Did you just..?
Jake Mercer: Come on, Flan. Not everything is a joke.
Flannery McCoy: :francis: Right. Anyways, Xander still isn’t sure where Ryan is, and you can tell this is starting to piss him off. It looks like for once Xander is on the receiving end of his own mind games, and-
Stew-O: WOAH, LOOK AT THAT!!! RYAN WILSON JUST HOPPED THE BARRICADE AND SLID INTO THE RING, AND NOW HE BLINDSIDES XANDED WITH AN ELBOW TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! XANDER HAD HIS BACK TURNED, AND RYAN WASN’T LYING! HE’S HERE, AND HE’S NOW PUTTING THE BOOTS TO XANDER AS HE BEGINS STOMPING AWAY AT HIM!
Jake Mercer: XANDER ROLLS AWAY BEFORE STUMBLING INTO THE CORNER, BUT RYAN RUNS IN BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HELLUVA KICK! RYAN NOW THROWING XANDER TO THE MAT, AND HE DROPS DOWN BEFORE BEGINNING TO JUST PUNCH AWAY AT HIS FORMER DOMINION TEAMMATE!!!!
Flannery McCoy: RYAN CONTINUES TO PUNCH AWAY AT XANDER, AND WE CAN’T SAY XANDER DIDN’T HAVE THIS COMING! XANDER DID THIS ALL TO HIMSELF, AND NOW RYAN IS LETTING XANDER GET A TASTE OF THE SAME PAIN XANDER FORCED HIM TO GO THROUGH!
Stew-O: RYAN PULLS XANDER UP BEFORE DELIVERING A KNEE TO THE MIDSECTION, AND NOW THERE’S A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!!!!! RYAN CONTINUES BEATING DOWN XANDER PAYNE AS XANDER WAS COMPLETELY CAUGHT OFF GUARD, AND NOW RYAN PULLS XANDER IN BEFORE GOING FOR-
Jake Mercer: WAIT, NO! XANDER PUSHED RYAN AWAY BEFORE ROLLING OUT OF THE RING! Xander managed to pull himself out of harm’s way, saving himself just before he could be taken out by whatever Ryan had in mind!
(Xander makes it out to ringside before backpedaling to the ramp, and Ryan stares at Xander, furious. Xander on the other hand is laughing, and the fans boo loudly.)
Xander Payne: (off-mic) IS THAT ALL YOU’VE GOT!??? TWO WEEKS, RYAN! TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE WORST DAY OF YOUR LIFE!
(Xander continues backpedaling up the ramp, laughing as Ryan is forced to just watch.)
Stew-O: Xander was barely able to save himself there, but at that Christmas show these two will have to fight straight up.
Jake Mercer: This is a beyond personal match, and I don’t think words can explain just how much things have heated up over the past weeks. This is going to be a match to remember.
Flannery McCoy: It sure will. Ryan got his hands on Xander, but with that stipulation, this might not even be a preview of what’s coming.
(Ryan Wilson remains in the ring, frustrated, as Xander Payne walks up the ramp with a grin on his face. As Ryan is seen standing in the ring, Dynasty fades away from ringside and to commercials.)
(A commercial is shown for Xander Payne versus Ryan Wilson at the Christmas show.)
(Dynasty returns from break, where the next match is about to start.)
Stephie Love: This match is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Zettai Zetsumei’ by Cö shu Nie hits the speakers as AIRI Evergarden confidently walks onto the stage. She posed on the ramp before making her way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, residing in Seoul, South Korea… Weighing in at 170 lbs… AIRIIIII EVERGARDENNNNN!!!
Stew-O: AIRI Evergarden doesn’t seem fazed by last week’s result where she was beaten by Milli Banks. Tonight she looks to recoup that loss and make her way back up the ranks by defeating Ronan Malosi here tonight!
Flannery McCoy: AIRI has been a rising star these last few weeks, picking up victories here and there, and if she keeps moving at this speed, she may be able to become a household name in EAW!
(‘Mo Money’ by Ben McLusky replaces the music playing through the speakers as Ronan Malosi makes his way through the curtains. He walks onto the ramp with a serious expression, knowing Theron is going to be at ringside.)
Stephie Love: Introducing second, residing in The Isles Of Samoa… Weighing in at 250 lbs… RONAAAAAAN MALOOOSSIIIIIIII!!!!
Jake Mercer: Now this right here, a man that after everything, you have to give him credit for everything that he has been able to do this season. He’s kept himself steady and at Road To Redemption, he has a big match for himself to continue doing so. He faces the Interwire Champion!
Stew-O: Speaking of Road To Redemption where Ronan will be facing Theron Nikolas, he will be joining us here at ringside to have a better view of his opponent’s match. Last week, he handed Ronan the victory as he nearly blinded him with red mist to give him the disqualification victory!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Flannery McCoy: These two want these wins more than the other. Evergarden looks to bounce back and Ronan wants to win in front of Theron. They circle each other looking to make the first move in the match. And this match starts off with a lock up, AIRI and Ronan both moving in pretty quickly towards each other. Ronan managed to get the advantage, getting AIRI into a side headlock. It’s locked in tightly but he doesn’t just end it there. He starts punching away at the head of his opponent to try to both cut down stamina and deal damage to the head.
Stew-O: He lets loose after successfully throwing some punches, grabbing the wrist of AIRI in an attempt to use an Irish whip to get her into the ropes, but Evergarden manages to escape it by slapping his hand, forcing him to let loose of her wrist. She moves in herself now, grabbing Ronan’s head into a side headlock of her own. She wrenches and has it in deep, depleting the stamina of her opponent. But Malosi starts pushing towards the ropes to make her bounce off of them. And she does and rebound right into a clothesline!
Jake Mercer: And he completely takes our AIRI with that one. Her head bouncing off the mat into a seated position, right in position for Malosi to think about another rest hold that could help him deplete her stamina. Ronan grabs her arm and hooks it in a half nelson formation before putting pressure on that chin! A half nelson chinlock, a unique rest hold that can deal a lot of damage if you aren’t careful with it. But Evergarden already starts to fight back. She turns to her side to get to a knee and starts sending back elbows towards Malosi’s abdomen.
Flannery McCoy: She successfully fights her way out of the hold and uses the fact that she just targeted the abdomen of Malosi to keep the pressure applied around the area, a back waist hold squeezing the man from behind. But Malosi manages to pry her hands apart and grabs one arm as he lifts it up high and slams it down on his shoulder! A quick yet effective move to work the arm of your opponent. AIRI holds her arm in pain as Ronan turns around and throws a right haymaker to the face of his opponent to stun her.
Stew-O: The move proves effective as he manages to follow it up with another left handed punch, this time striking the gut of AIRI, trying to land some combinations. An effective way to keep control is not repeating moves but switching up enough that they can’t follow and that is exactly what he is doing. Especially since he follows that up with a strike to the throat, flooring Evergarden. She holds the struck part and coughs, Malosi mocking it as he does the same thing to play along. He then brushes it off and grabs his opponent.
Flannery McCoy: But AIRI is going to start fighting back, because a punch to the jaw rocks Ronan and sends him stumbling a few steps back as it catches him off guard. She gets back up completely, Malosi tries to cut her off with something, but before he can even get close to connecting with anything, a knife edge chop sends him stepping back yet again. But AIRI wasn’t done, because as she gets the chance again, she sends a second one! And a third one! A fourth one and now she has Ronan cornered! Machine gun chops!
Jake Mercer: The referee counts to 4! Evergarden walks back when the count is reached after just turning Malosi’s chest into a bunch of hamburger meat! Ronan holds his chest, chilling in the corner to let the burning sensation from the chops go away. He suddenly speeds towards her trying to take her head off with a lariat but it fails as AIRI manages to duck it and runs towards the ropes. She leaps up onto the second rope and as Ronan turns around, he is taken down with a massive springboard Moonsault! AIRI hold on and goes for the cover!
OOONNNNEE!
TTTWWW—
Stew-O: NO! Ronan kicks out at 1.5! But AIRI doesn’t seem to have any plans to stop going full speed with this match, she instantly tries to follow the moonsault up. She hoists Malosi back to his feet and grabs his leg. She hooks it under her arm as she looks to hit him with a massive dragon screw. But before she can, Ronan grabs her by the throat, making her let loose of the leg. Having a tight grip around her neck, Ronan uses the very leg that he just freed up to sweep Evergarden’s legs to hit a chokehold STO!
Flannery McCoy: AIRI is grounded after that one, Ronan clapping for himself for the move. Although his cockiness shows through, he still has his mind on the goal, grabbing his opponent and lifting her to her feet, placing a quick forearm to her cheek. AIRI starts stumbling backwards, but Malosi follows her for another one, sending her into the corner. He would mount the corner and start punching down, the fans counting until that famous 10 count was achieved. And he manages to get there, making his opponent drop down into a seated position.
Jake Mercer: He uses this position to plant his foot on the upper chest to neck area of his opponent and presses down, using the ropes as leverage. The referee would start his count and at the count of 3, he doesn’t let loose but instead throws a stomp before turning his back and walking off. The fans are showing their displeasure, booing him, but he takes it all as a compliment. AIRI slowly drags herself up with the ropes, standing back up completely after the stomp Ronan planted on her upper chest. She takes deep breaths looking to recover.
Stew-O: Ronan doesn’t seem to agree with the fact she is taking her time to recover hosever, storming back in looking to hit her with a lariat in the corner, but she manages to duck and send Ronan into the corner. She runs back in and hits a running back elbow in the corner to her opponent, grabbing the back of his head and throwing him towards the middle of the ring. Ronan stumbles a few steps forward while AIRI quickly climbs to the top rope and jumps off to hit a massive missile dropkick to the back of Malosi’s head!
Jake Mercer: And it connects, Malosi rolling to the outside so he can escape the onslaught. But AIRI isn’t just going to allow him to easily escale in that manner. She lines herself up and runs towards the ropes, she bounces off them as she now runs towards Malosi and jumps through the ropes to try and hit a Suicide Dive… But wait, she’s caught as Ronan has his hand around her throat. He lifts her up and uses the apron to hit a chokeslam on Evergarden! She rolls back into the ring after being planted on the hardest part of the ring, Malosi dropping to a knee and taking a breather on the outside.
Flannery McCoy: After a few seconds of taking a breather he slides in and walks over to Evergarden. He picks her up and lifts her under her arm as he plants her into his knee with a pendulum backbreaker. He holds onto the move, getting back and planting her right back down with a sidewalk slam, combining the two versions of the move. He rolls off AIRI, but moves to the back of her, grabbing her to start sending down hammer and anvil elbows until she stops moving. He pushes her back onto the canvas to cover her.
OOOONNNEEEE!
TTWWWWOOO-
Stew-O: No! She manages to kick out right before the count of 2. This has been a very competitive match! Ronan gets up and frustrations set in, he grabs Evergarden and just wants tk start punching away but that backfires when the first punch gets caught by AIRI. She doesn’t let ho and instead starts to get up as she holds onto the punch. She uses this to go for a back switch, using the arm she has to hook the other one and lift him up for a tiger suplex! And the moves connect! She gets back up, Malosi rolling to the corner, trying to get out of it after standing up…
Jake Mercer: But the shotgun dropkick! She sends him flying into the turnbuckles! Evergarden now as Malosi tries to get back to his feet, she is right there to plant him with a russian leg sweep, but she holds on, transitioning into a grounded octopus lock! That ‘Spiral Obsession’! A signature submission hold combo in Evergarden’s repertoire and Ronan is trapped with nowhere to go. He reaches towards the ropes but they are too far. He tries to roll but the hold is too firm. He then tries the only other option, brute force.
Stew-O: Slowly but surely he makes his way to a standing octopus stretch from AIRI, but that is about to turn bad for her. He manages to make her start spinning around in a tilt-a-whirl. What is Ronan planning— OH WAIT! He suddenly stops the spin as he rolls her backwards around his arm and he throws himself back! Out of absolutely nowhere! ‘DEATH-RO!’ That End of Days he uses as a finisher just connected out of absolutely nowhere and he hooks the legs of AIRI!
OOONNNNNEE!
TTTWWWOOO!
TTTHHREEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stephie: Here is your winner… RONAAAAAAAN MALOOOOOSSIIIIIIII!
Flannery McCoy: A real strong effort from AIRI here tonight, managing to have an answer to a lot of the tactics from Malosi, but at the end of the day it wasn’t enough. He prevailed and with that Death-Ro out of nowhere, managed to put an exclamation mark at the end of that match. Walking home with the victory going into his match with Theron Nikolas.
Jake Mercer: Speaking of Nikolas, he seems intrigued by the result here tonight, keeling his position as Ronan gets to celebrate here for picking up the victory. At Road To Redemption, the EAW Interwire Championship will be on the line, and Theron must be thinking about one thing right now. “What if this is how next week ends?”
(Ronan gets up from the victory as the referee raises his hand. He would accept it but he would turn towards Theron at ringside, taunting him over the win. He would put his finger up to the sky, as the scene faded to black with the two having a staredown with Ronan in the ring and Theron on the outside.)
(A commercial is shown for Ronan Malosi versus Theron Nikolas for the Interwire Championship at Road To Redemption.)
(Coming back from commercials, Stephie Love is in the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen… The following singles match is scheduled for ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
(‘Trophies’ by Drake can be heard through the whole arena as a mix of cheers and boos can be heard very loudly as Joso makes his way down the ring with a confident strut and a smirk on his face looking to pick up some momentum here tonight.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… From the Bronx, New York… Weighing in at 206 pounds… He is “The New Era”… JOSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Flannery McCoy: Joso is just a week away from finally getting his hands on Chris Elite in a Street Fight match after calling him out for being one of the reasons he was screwed out of an opportunity to qualify for the Extreme Elimination Chamber in his opinion and best believe that he’s looking to pick up the win here tonight against his opponent!
Jake Mercer: I mean it’s no coincidence that Chris Elite “motivated” Tyrone Montgomery and the next thing you know he gets fired and Joso gets screwed out! Though, Joso does have some tough competition here tonight against BRAE as he’s looking to make a bigger name for himself against the likes of Joso who’s had an impressive career so far in EAW.
(As Joso slowly makes his way towards the ring, he slowly gets in as his theme song is quickly replaced by ‘Dragon Fly’ by Shaman’s Harvest as it plays through the arena, and BRAE makes his way out to the ring with a confident strut.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent… From Bray County, Ireland… Weighing in at 267 lbs… He is the “Warrior King”… BRAEEEEEEEEE!!!
Jake Mercer: Speaking of making a bigger name for himself, here comes BRAE after losing to Ryan Wilson two weeks ago trying to right his wrongs here tonight, and pick up that massive win against an elitist of Joso’s level! It will not be easy, but if anyone can do it I believe it can be BRAE!
Stew-O: Both these men will be giving their all here tonight with a lot to prove and momentum to pick up as who knows how things change after Road To Redemption and who has the most momentum to see their position on the Dynasty brand change for the better! All we know is that we are about to see a great match from these two and that’s a promise my friends!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Flannery McCoy: The match is on its way and it seems BRAE is wanting to start off this match strong as he goes for a Lariat against Joso, but Joso ducks under it and rebounds off the rope as BRAE attempts to go for a second one! Joso once again ducks as he looks at the ropes for an opportunity and used them to execute a Springboard Reverse Poisonrana that spikes BRAE on his head, but it’s not enough to keep the “Warrior King” down as he gets back up rubbing his head a bit after being spiked on it as he attempts to grab Joso from behind for a German Suplex, but Joso is able to flip Mid-Suplex quickly running towards the ropes again before being able to connect with a Slingblade on BRAE as he makes sure to not waste any time and keep BRAE down for a bit longer by running towards the ropes and connecting with a Springboard Moonsault to complete this combo off his! BRAE is finally down for a bit as Joso smirks a bit, growing even more confident as he runs the ropes looking to hit BRAE with a Running Shooting Star Press, but BRAE puts his knees up at the last minute as Joso’s gut lands directly on them knocking the air out of him and allowing BRAE some breathing room as he picks himself back up with help from the ropes.
Jake Mercer: It seems BRAE notices Joso getting back up as he makes sure to quickly head to the outer part of the ring apron. Joso is back up on his feet, but BRAE was prepared as he takes him down with a Springboard Shoulder Tackle, but BRAE keeping the pressure on Joso starts to pick him up and positions him for a Suplex! BRAE now has Joso in Suplex position, but keeps him up as it seems he’s showcasing his strengths with a beautiful Stalling Suplex as he walks towards the middle of the ring and finally plants Joso down on the mat! Quickly, BRAE starts working on the leg of Joso to make sure he slows down and is left as nothing more but a slowed down prey for BRAE to prey on as he starts elbowing his left leg continuously until BRAE quickly tries to transition into a Single Leg Boston Crab submission hold on Joso, but Joso won’t budge as he uses his right leg to kick himself away from the submission hold as he pushes BRAE away from him!
Stew-O: BRAE stops himself with the rope as he turns around as Joso attempts to grabs him from behind, BRAE pushes him away as both men start trading blows back and forth, but Joso is able to get the advantage as he starts striking BRAE nonstop until he’s forced to lean on the ropes. Joso now Irish-Whips him to the other side of the ring as BRAE rebounds from them and is quickly met with a Bicycle Knee Strike, but BRAE stays standing groggily on rubber legs! Joso, making sure that BRAE goes down, quickly hits him with a Superkick that finally knocks him down making BRAE fall on his back! Joso sees an opening and heads to the outer side of the apron, grabs onto the ropes, and goes for a Springboard Frog Splash that is executed flawlessly as he goes for a quick cover on BRAE!
ONEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOO-
Flannery McCoy: A kick out before the two count as BRAE gets his shoulder up! Joso starts to slowly pick BRAE back up, but BRAE punches Joso right in the gut as he quickly grabs Joso for a Uranage and drops Joso on his back! Joso clearly in pain after a massive drop from the 6’4 foot BRAE, but BRAE doesn’t let Joso have any breathing room as he starts to deadlift Joso into a Deadlift German Suplex where BRAE quickly grabs on the left leg of Joso and goes for a Single Leg Boston crab submission hold as he pulls Joso away from the ropes as he makes the submission hold tighter and tighter. Joso starts to attempt to crawl towards the rope, but BRAE tries to pull him back away from the ropes. This gives Joso enough time to quickly turn himself a bit over and use his right leg to push BRAE away from the Single Leg Boston Crab as BRAE is pushed out of the ring! Joso slowly picks himself back up with help from the ropes slightly limping from his left leg as he looks at BRAE on the outside and starts to run the ropes the best he can!
Jake Mercer: As BRAE is finally back up he turns around as is met with a Suicide Dive from Joso as both men crash onto the barricade! Joso starts to pick himself back up using the barricade for support and gets on top of it as he looks at the downed BRAE and jumps off the barricade as he lands with a Diving Double Foot Stomp onto BRAE! Joso is clearly showing here tonight that he’s ready to do everything in his repertoire to get the job done especially if he intends to beat Chris Elite at Road To Redemption in their Street Fight, but tonight Joso has to focus on not getting counted out as unlike a Street Fight a regular singles match can he lost by count out or disqualification especially when someone as meaty and powerful as BRAE can definitely put the hurt on an elitist like Joso! Right now however, Joso still holds the advantage as he starts to deadlift BRAE and as he slowly gets him up, Joso is able to connect with a Deadlift German Suplex on BRAE sending his back right onto the ring apron! That ladies and gentlemen is the hardest part of the ring as Joso climbs onto it as the referee starts the count!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Stew-O: Looks like Joso wants to do more damage to BRAE on the outside as he’s looking for a Moonsault off the apron as he dives off it and lan- NO! BRAE is able to grab onto Joso as he slowly gets up while carrying Joso with him and goes for a Belly-To-Belly Suplex sending Joso back first to the barricade, but BRAE isn’t done targeting his back as he starts to slowly pick Joso up and goes for a Butterfly Suplex launching his back right to the apron to this time before BRAE throws Joso back inside the ring and climbs to the top rope. Joso is slowly getting up still groggy while his back aches in pain as he looks up and BRAE with a Top Rope Clothesline taking down Joso as BRAE covers him now for a pinfall!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOO-
Flannery McCoy: Joso kicks out before the two count as BRAE in frustration slaps the mat as he starts to slowly pick up Joso and throw him to the outer part of the apron as he starts to use the ropes at an attempt to hit his “Ten Beats of BRAE”, but Joso is able to use the ropes against BRAE to break away from BRAE’s grasp! Leaving BRAE dazed, Joso quickly climbs back on the apron, and uses the ropes to hit BRAE with a Springboard Knee Strike! Joso rolls back up on his feet as he runs the ropes and goes for a Running Shooting Star Press! He lands it effortlessly, but isn’t done as he grabs onto BRAE and using all his strength and energy rolls back to his feet with BRAE as he positions him in a Powerbomb position and runs to the turnbuckle as he hits BRAE with a Buckle Bomb, but BRAE is still standing!
Jake Mercer: It look like Joso is looking to put an end to this match he quickly grabs the groggy BRAE and looks to connect with a Front Suplex Lift Into A Cutter as Joso connects with “Executioner From He”- BRAE puts all his weight down preventing Joso from executing his signature move as BRAE picks up Joso and slams him down with a Uranage on the turnbuckle leaving him on rubber legs as BRAE knocks him down with a Bicycle Knee Strike! Joso as quickly as he can makes his way to the ropes, picking himself up, but BRAE throws him to the outer part of the apron. He pulls Joso back on his feet and starts to unleash “The Ten Beats of BRAE” as the fans start to count with him!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
FIVE!
SIX!
SEVEN!
EIGHT!
NINE!
Stew-O: TEN! BRAE gets in the last hit as he tosses Joso back inside the ring and picks him back up, puts Joso right on his shoulders and is looking likes going to hit Joso with a Fireman’s Carry DDT as BRAE looks to connect with “Eris” as Joso slips from BRAE’s grasp as he hits him with a Backstabber! Joso won’t let BRAE rest as he tries his best to pick BRAE up as he runs the ropes and connects with a Springboard DDT! Joso rolls back on his feet as he positions BRAE for “Crimson Peak” as it connects and Joso rolls up BRAE for the pinfall!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEE-!!!
Jake Mercer: A kick out from BRAE as he continues to fight on as Joso quickly picks up BRAE and hooks him in for a Package Piledriver as “HEAVEN’S GATE” CONNECTS! JOSO NOW SLOWLY CRAWLING OVER TO BRAE FOR A COVER AS HE COVER BRAE AND GOES FOR A PINFALL!!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… He is “The New Era”… JOSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Jake Mercer: BRAE just barely getting his shoulder up after the three count as he was just too slow to save himself tonight allowing Joso to pick up the win here tonight after a back and forth match between both these men as Joso has all the momentum for Road To Redemption for his Street Fight Match against Chris Elite!
Flannery McCoy: BRAE has nothing to be ashamed of here as he could have easily won this match here tonight, but Joso’s motivation and hunger to win was bigger than BRAE’s. However, BRAE continues to show that sooner or later his time in the spotlight is coming and whenever that day comes a lot of elitists will have to start worrying for their own careers!
(BRAE is seen rolling out of the ring as he walks to the back while Joso continues to celebrate his victory here tonight as suddenly ‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke starts to play through out the arena as Joso quickly turns to the stage and he sees Chris Elite quickly run down to the ring and with a quick take down starts unleashing a barrage of punches onto Joso before Joso flips him over and unleashed a barrage of his own punches before both elitists separate from each other and start trading blows back and forth.)
Stew-O: BOTH THESE MEN HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF EACH OTHER AND SIMPLY CANNOT WAIT TILL NEXT WEEK AS A BRAWL AS BROKEN OUT BETWEEN JOSO AND CHRIS ELITE AS BOTH MEN BEGIN TO BRAWL OUT OF THE RING AND NEAR OUR ANNOUNCERS TABLE AS JOSO SLAMS CHRIS ELITE’S HEAD ONTO IT BEFORE TRYING TO THROW HIM ON THE SIDE OF IT, BUT CHRIS STOPS IT IN THE NICK OF TIME AS HE GRABS JOSO AND SLAMS HIM ON THE ANNOUNCERS TABLE AS PAYBACK!
Jake Mercer: IT SEEMS THAT THESE MEN HAVE NO INTENTION OF STOPPING AS THEY CONTINUE TO TRADE BLOWS UNTIL THEY MAKE IT TO THE RAMP AREA OF THE ENTRANCE WAY! IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS NO ROOM FOR STOPPING AS BOTH MEN ARE SEEING RED AS SECURITY GUARDS AND EAW OFFICIALS COME OUT FROM THE BACK AND START SEPARATING BOTH MEN BEFORE FURTHER DAMAGE OCCURS TO BOTH AND PREVENTS EITHER FROM MAKING IT TO ROAD TO REDEMPTION IN FULL HEALTH!
(As both elitists are finally being separated from each other, they both clearly are still trying to break out of being held back to continue the brawl as the security and EAW officials start to fully seperate them as Joso is taken backstage before Chris Elite is taken back a few minutes later as one last shot shows Chris Elite fuming in anger before the scene fades elsewhere.)
(Friday Night Dynasty fades in to show the backstage area of the Desert Financial Arena, the camera focusing on a designated interview area with Dynasty Backstage Correspondent Michael Belfort standing by. Michael, still bearing the damage of Xander Payne’s attack last week on his face, has a smile with a microphone in his hand. After some time, he begins to speak to the eager fans waiting in anticipation.)
Michael Belfort: Welcome back, and what a go-home show we’ve had tonight on Friday Night Dynasty! Road To Redemption is right around the corner and the anticipation for the event after this weekend will be through the roof! One match in particular has people buzzing and that is the match that will be taking place for the Universal Women’s Championship! The Iconic Cup holder Minerva will be cashing in her title opportunity against the dominant Champion who has held the title since Pain For Pride last Season. That’s not all she has either, as she will be defending the Unified Tag Team Championships and her partner against Roberto De La Rosa and Valerie Hellstorm of La Familia. The two of them are here with us tonight, so please welcome at this time… The Jaded Hearts!
(The crowd roars in approval as the camera pans over to reveal the Unified Tag Team Champions as Kassidy Heart and Sienna Jade make their way into the scene. Both of them have serious looks on their face, with Kassidy, both of her titles in possession, looking over at Sienna with the two of them clearly mentally preparing for the big week that they’re going to have come Road To Redemption. After a moment, Michael continues.)
Michael Belfort: Thank you both for joining us today. I’d like to start this off with questions regarding what happened last week on Dynasty and Voltage respectively. On Dynasty after an assault by La Familia on MITSU, the two of you came down to the ring for the save as you ran them off. But it seems like they weren’t going to take that quietly, and after you looked to follow that up on Voltage by going after the Iconic Cup holder Minerva, Roberto and Valerie returned the favor by laying you out as well. What are your thoughts on that?
(Kassidy rolls her eyes as Sienna shakes her head.)
Kassidy Heart: I think it’s obvious that we’re both fucking irritated by it, but then again it’s something that we should’ve expected out of two people like Roberto and Valerie. In terms of competition, we don’t rank them very highly. Roberto despite having all the power in the world with the 24/7 Contract has decided to sit on his hands for the first half of the Season, and look how that’s turned out for him, Valerie isn’t anything special either and we know that. The two of them have not done enough, especially as a team, to prove themselves even to merely consider threats to what is going to be the greatest Unified Tag Team Championship reign this company has ever seen.
Sienna Jade: Winning these already at Wicked Games was history-making, and with POTARA having imploded on itself, so went any form of competition that we were going to end up having. I know that anyone and everyone is going to try and take their best shot at us, especially the ones who have been in the tag division for quite a while. We expect people like La Familia to step up thinking that they have all the answers when that’s far from the truth. To even consider them in the league of Kassidy Heart and Sienna Jade is ridiculous, and to even consider them as two people that can best The Jaded Hearts when so few people have succeeded is laughable. It’s not worth entertaining them and their monotonous beliefs, but we’re also not going to stand by as they continue their bullshit without consequences. We’re going to do something about it, and you don’t need what happens at Road To Redemption to figure out how it happens.
Michael Belfort: Do you two think that La Familia is biting more than they can chew? They’re confident in believing they can dethrone you two for the titles, and think that they’re the best candidates to do so.
(Kassidy and Sienna look at each other, trying their best not to laugh.)
Sienna Jade: Well they’re dumb as rocks so I didn’t expect much out of them. :mjlol:
Kassidy Heart: :mjlol2: It’s been nothing but nonsensical blabber out of the two of them but then again what do you expect? They’ve underachieved their entire careers, just because they got this opportunity doesn’t mean that anything is going to change about it. They’re not going to suddenly win the Unified Tag Team Championships because they put their mind to it, and I find it very hard to believe that we’re going to end up reaching a point where we have to even come close to worrying about our reigns being in danger. They won’t be, and that’s not something that’s exclusive to Roberto and Valerie either, it’s going to end up being the case whether you like it or not for anyone who decides to face us for these titles next. We’re not going to lose our titles for a long time, and to say that we’re just done after getting everything that we wanted out of this run is laughable. We’re always striving for more, I for one will never have a moment where I am complacent, and when we break one record, what happens next is simple…
Sienna Jade: We break another. 😉
Michael Belfort: Moving on we also have to talk about the other match that Kassidy will be participating in next week and that is her match against Minerva for the Universal Women’s Championship. On Dynasty we saw Minerva lay out both of you and stand tall with the Universal Women’s Championship to end the show. Then on Voltage before the attack by La Familia, the two of you attacked Minerva to return the favor. Kassidy, do you have any more thoughts on the situation?
Kassidy Heart: I just think Minerva is trying too hard. She’s trying her extra best to make sure that everything that she says leading into our long awaited match is validated, but having seen her since she’s walked through the doors I know that there’s nothing that is really going to make me think that she is going to be the one to take this title off of me. I have been on a tear since winning it at Pain For Pride, as per fucking usual, and I have proven that is going to take a lot more than just anything in order to usurp me from my throne at the top of the mountain. I don’t need to have been in the ring with Minerva in recent memory to know that she doesn’t have what it takes, that’s just who she is. People think that she’s someone to take seriously, but the same people also probably think Roberto and Valerie have a fighting chance so… :mjlol:
Kassidy Heart: I have no high hopes for her, and even though I know myself it is guaranteed we’re going to see the best of her next week, the margin is too far between the two of us to make a difference. She can believe that this is her fairytale ending and that her destiny is conquering me and taking this title for her own, but really that’s all that this is, a fantasy. Road To Redemption needs to be absolutely perfect for me. If I lose to La Familia :mjlol: and beat Minerva or if I beat La Familia and lose to Minerva :mjlol: I will by no means be satisfied. I will be walking in as both the Universal Women’s Champion and one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, and once it’s all said and done, I plan to walk out still the Universal Women’s Champion and one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions.
Michael Belfort: Are there any final words that either of you have to say?
Sienna Jade: Yeah, we’re not stupid. We know after this is going to be Voltage and we’re going to hear a lot more bickering from BOTH La Familia and Minerva. If they think just because we look at them as not worth our time, which you could make a pretty valid argument for, that we’re just going to sit by and take whatever they have for us then they’re surely mistaken. We won’t be afraid to make the extra trip over, and make it known that we’re the last people to fuck with come Road To Redemption. Quote it.
(Kassidy and Sienna look at eachother once again before turning around and making their leave. Michael then turns over to the camera as he speaks.)
Michael Belfort: Emphatic statements being made by the Tag Team Champions! Now, back to you guys!
(The camera pans out as Friday Night Dynasty fades to elsewhere.)
(The camera returns to the ring where Stephie Love is standing ready to begin the introductions for the next match.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest is scheduled for ONE FALL….
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Stephie Love:…and it is a TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR THE ELITE ANSWERS WRESTLING NEW BREED CHAMPIONSHIP!
(The eerie arena lights dim as Sunkiller begins to play, accompanied by haunting chimes. Smoke fills the entrance ramp as NOVA emerges from the darkness, He walks deliberately, gliding towards the ring with an aura of mystique.)
Stephie Love: Introducing the challengers! First! Making his way to the ring! Weighing in at 190 pounds! Here is NOOOOOOOOOOOOVA!
Stew-O: Here comes the first of two challengers here tonight for the New Breed Championship and things didn’t exactly go the way he wanted.
Jake Mercer: Yeah, he got petty last week and cost him and Cody Maverick the win in tag team action. How stupid can you be to make one of your opponents mad before a match like this?
Flannery McCoy: Then again, it could all be according to NOVA’s plan. Get his opposition so far off their games to make it easier for him to be the New Breed Champion. We’ll see if it works against his two opponents.
(NOVA occasionally stops to stare at the audience with his intense gaze as he enters the ring and takes his corner. Seconds later, the lights strobe red and white as “Lord Knows” blares throughout the building. Out comes the “Sin City Superstar” Cody Maverick, looking around the building with a smirk. Cody marches down to the ring, nodding his head to his theme song as his sole focus remains on the ring.)
Stephie Love: Next! From Las Vegas, Nevada! Weighing in at 235 pounds! Here is “THE SIN CITY SUPERSTAR” CODY MAVERICK!
Jake Mercer: Here comes the second challenger and he is very confident in himself tonight to become the New Breed Champion.
Stew-O: It was because of him that this whole situation started in the first place. It was weeks ago when Cody Maverick came out to the ring and issued a challenge for the New Breed Title.
Flannery McCoy: He started this and he is looking to finish it as well. If he can successfully do that, he will be leaving tonight as the New Breed Champion. Could he pull it off? He certainly can.
(Cody jogs up the steps, stopping on the apron. He looks around and finally takes in the reception from the crowd. He smirks at the noise being made by those in attendance and swings in the ring upon the beat drop. Cody climbs to the middle rope and throws his arms up in the air.)
Cody Maverick: “Awww, BASK IT IN, BABY!”
Flannery McCoy: No lack of confidence, there. He’s got that going for him. His attitude leaves little to be desired, though.
(Cody drops to the mat and removes his entrance jacket, folding it up and dropping it outside the ring. He removes his sunglasses and places it down on the apron. He wipes his hands on his trunks, pacing around as he awaits his opponent while his theme gradually fades out. Seconds later, “Dead Opps” by DD Osama & Notti Osama starts playing and the New Breed Champion Micheal Machina enters the arena to a mixed but more negative reaction from the crowd. He holds the New Breed Title high in the air as he heads to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing the final participant! From Brooklyn, New York! Weighing 240 pounds! Here is the reigning EAW NEW BREED CHAMPION! “THE NEW BREED OF LEGENDS” MICHAEL MACHINA!!
Jake Mercer: HERE COMES THE CHAMPION! THE DOMINANT CHAMPION OF THE NEW BREEDS! BASK IN HIS POWER!
Flannery McCoy: Oh good gawd. Ever since winning the New Breed Title from Hans Grayson, he has been a force to be reckoned with. Last week on Dynasty, Machina completely obliterated his challengers.
Stew-O: Both Cody and NOVA wanted their chance to become the New Breed Champion. Machina said he would take them both on in a triple threat match. They all get their wish and now we are about to find out who will head into Road to Redemption as the New Breed Champion
(Michael enters the ring and takes his corner as his entrance music fades off. Machina hands the New Breed Championship belt to the referee who shows it to the Champion and both challengers before walking to the center of the ring and holding it up for the crowd to see. The referee hands the belt to Stephie Love before calling for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Flannery McCoy: There’s the sound of the bell! Match is on and the New Breed Title on the line as the three participants circle each other before striking.
Stew-O: Remember that this triple threat match will be contested under sudden death rules. That means the first pinfall or submission wins the match and wins the New Breed Title.
Jake Mercer: That sucks!! That means that Michael doesn’t even have to be involved in the fall to lose the title. IT’S A CONSPIRACY I TELL YA! I don’t like it all.
Flannery McCoy: Well get over it because that’s the rules. You also won’t like this BECAUSE THE CHALLENGERS ARE JUST DOUBLE TEAMING THE CHAMPION AND BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF HIM!
Jake Mercer: That’s an act of cowardice if you ask me. They are just scared to face up against the champion. Big babies!
Stew-O: That’s strategy, Jake. Take out the champion and improve the chances of a new Champion. Cody and NOVA each grab an arm and whip him to the ropes. Machina rebounds AND HE IS TAKEN DOWN WITH A DOUBLE HIP TOSS!
Flannery McCoy: The Champion is back to his feet AND NOW HE FINDS A DOUBLE DROPKICK IN HIS FACE AND THAT SENDS MACHINA TO THE MAT AND HE ROLLS TO THE ROPES!
Stew-O: Now the challengers DELIVER A DOUBLE BASEBALL SLIDE DROPKICK AND THAT SENDS THE CHAMPION TO THE FLOOR! Machina is out of the equation for the time being.
Jake Mercer: BUT LOOK! Now Cody and NOVA are glaring at each other. Cody hasn’t forgotten how petty NOVA was last week and he wants to make NOVA pay for that. Then again, I don’t expect NOVA to back down either.
Flannery McCoy: I couldn’t have said it better myself as the challengers lock up in the center of the ring as Cody takes control with a side headlock, BUT NOVA GETS FREE AND SNEAKS BEHIND WITH A QUICK ROLLUP–
Stew-O: Cody kicks out before a count can even begin and he gets back to his feet BEFORE BEING MET WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP FROM NOVA ACROSS THE CHEST! ANOTHER! AND ANOTHER SENDS CODY BACK TO THE CORNER!
Jake Mercer: NOVA decides to back up so he can gain some momentum FOR THE RUNNING CLOTHESLINE THAT CODY AVOIDS AS NOVA CRASHES INTO THE CORNER! Now it’s Cody with the advantage with those boots to the midsection.
Flannery McCoy: Cody now climbs onto the second rope AND HIS JUST PUNCHING NOVA RIGHT IN THE HEAD! HERE COMES THE CROWD WITH A COUNT!
Crowd: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGH–
Stew-O: Cody couldn’t get the ten punches as NOVA grabs him by the legs and walks him out of the corner BEFORE DROPPING HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! That might have knocked a few teeth loose in Cody’s mouth on that landing.
Flannery McCoy: NOVA grabs Cody by the head AND SNAPS HIM OVER WITH THE SNAP SUPLEX! NOVA goes to bring Cody back to his feet AND LOOK WHO JUST ROLLED BACK INTO THE RING!
Stew-O: Machina is back into the ring and he does NOT look happy. NOVA has Cody back up AND HE WHIPS CODY RIGHT TO MACHINA! CODY IS IN THE LINE OF FIRE!
Jake Mercer: Machina goes for a clothesline THAT CODY SOMEHOW MANAGES TO DUCK, BUT MACHINA KEEPS ON GOING AND HE JUST CLOBBERS NOVA INSTEAD! DOWN GOES NOVA! Serves him right for what he did.
Flannery McCoy: You mean try to win the match? Alright then. Machina grabs NOVA AND HOISTS HIM RIGHT INTO THE AIR! MILITARY PRESS BY THE CHAMPION AS HE WALKS NOVA OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE RING–
Stew-O: AND MACHINA JUST DROPS NOVA ON THE OUTSIDE LIKE A BAG OF TRASH! NOVA LANDED HARD ON THE OUTSIDE IN FRONT OF US! THAT WAS NOT A GOOD LANDING!
Jake Mercer: Welp, I guess the Champion took care of one of his challengers, so I guess NOVA can just get comfortable there for right now and now Machina locks eyes with Cody Maverick.
Flannery McCoy: This is going to be an interesting matchup. If there is a challenger in this match that could attempt to match strength against the New Breed Champ, it’s Cody Maverick.
Jake Mercer: Why? Because he’s about the same height and about the same weight? Sorry to tell you, Flan, but that doesn’t equate to equal power. Michael Machina is in a league of his own.
Stew-O: Be that as it may, we are about to find out AS CODY STRIKES MACHINA WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND AND THAT CERTAINLY CAUGHT THE CHAMPION OFF GUARD! It certainly didn’t make him any happier, either.
Flannery McCoy: Machina looks pissed AS HE CHARGES TOWARDS CODY LIKE AN ANGRY BULL, BUT HE GETS OUT OF THE WAY! Machina hits the ropes and comes back with even more force BEFORE LEAVING HIS FEET AND TAKING CODY DOWN WITH A RUNNING SHOULDER TACKLE!
Stew-O: Cody is back to his feet AND MACHINA GRABS HIS ARM AND PULLS HIM IN FOR THE SHORT ARM CLOTHESLINE AND CODY LANDS HARD ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! THE CHAMPION IS A WALL OF FIRE RIGHT NOW!
Jake Mercer: That’s why you don’t make the champion mad. Because of stuff like this. Cody tries to get back to his feet once more AND MACHINA GRABS HOLD OF HIM AND PULLS HIM IN FOR THE BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! GOOD GAWD WHAT SPEED AND POWER!
Flannery McCoy: Cody is down and probably is a little confused on where he is as the New Breed Champion turns his back to Cody BEFORE EXECUTING A STANDING MOONSAULT! HOLY CRAP! Nice landing by the Champion as he goes for the cover!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWOOOOO!
THHH
Stew-O: CODY GETS THE SHOULDER UP AT TWO! How many competitors the size of Michael Machina can you see do a standing moonsault like that with such accuracy? It’s astounding.
Jake Mercer: That’s why he is the New Breed Champion. That powerhouse can fly like no other. Look at the damage he has caused. NOVA is barely moving outside the ring and Cody Maverick is on the ropes.
Flannery McCoy: There is still plenty of match left, Jake. Don’t count the challengers out. Either one or both can make a huge comeback.
Jake Mercer: Yeah yeah. But right now, it’s all Machina as Michael brings Cody back to his feet and has him in the facelock.
Stew-O: AND HE LIFTS CODY RIGHT INTO THE AIR WITH EASE AND MACHINA IS JUST HOLDING HIM UP THERE! This is like a walk in the park for him as the blood rushes to Cody’s head–
Flannery McCoy: WAIT A SECOND! CODY IS KICKING HIS FEET AND TRYING TO CHANGE MOMENTUM BEFORE HE DOES AND LANDS ON HIS FEET BEHIND MACHINA! He grabs hold of the Champion and COUNTERS WITH A SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP!
Stew-O: Creative counter by the Elitist from Sin City as he takes a few steps back to the corner to catch a breather, BUT MACHINA IS BACK UP AND RUNNING RIGHT TOWARDS CODY!
Jake Mercer: THE MACHINA EXPRESS IS ON TRACK SEVEN LOOKING FOR CODY MAVERICK, BUT CODY GETS OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND AND MACHINA GOES CRASHING INTO THE CORNER!
Flannery McCoy: GOOD GAWD! DID YOU SEE THE TURNBUCKLE MOVE WHEN MACHINA CRASHED! That was full force and could have ended the match right there if Machina would have hit it.
Stew-O: AND THIS YOUNG MAN IS STILL ON HIS FEET! The New Breed Champion is a very scary individual. Machina is stumping out of the corner AND TURNS AROUND INTO A ROLLING ELBOW FROM MAVERICK!
Jake Mercer: He’s holding his nose from that shot, but he is still on his feet and even Cody is even a little stunned.
Flannery McCoy: He needs to stay on the Champion if he wants to win the title SO MAVERICK THROWS A DISCUS PUNCH THAT CATCHES MACHINA IN THE TEMPLE AND THE CHAMPION IS ROCKED!
Jake Mercer: He is rocked, but he is not out. Now Cody is on the second rope and is waiting for Machina to turn around. DON’T DO IT MACHINA!! DON’T TURN AROUND!!
Stew-O: It’s too late. Machina turns around AND CODY JUMPS OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE BEFORE GRABBING MACHINA’S HEAD AND PLANTING HIM WITH A MODIFIED IMPALER DDT! THE CHAMPION IS DOWN!
Flannery McCoy: LOOK AT THE TOP ROPE! IT’S NOVA! NOVA IS BACK IN THIS MATCH AND HE COMES OFF THE TOP ROPE WITH A MOONSAULT THAT CATCHES CODY MAVERICK AND TAKES HIM DOWN!
Stew-O: Maverick did NOT see that coming! It looked like NOVA’s knee might have caught Cody right in the face on impact, but NOVA doesn’t care as he hooks the leg for the cover!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEE–
Jake Mercer: AND MICHAEL MACHINA BREAKS UP THE COVER BEFORE THREE! Could you imagine what would happen if Machina would have lost the title without being pinned? He would have gone ballistic!
Flannery McCoy: That’s the nature of the rules as Machina grabs NOVA and throws him towards the ropes. NOVA rebounds AS MACHINA CATCHES HIM! BUT NOVA WRAPS HIS LEGS AROUND MACHINA’S NECK AND STARTS TO GET SOME MOMENTUM GOING!
Stew-O: Round and round they go BEFORE NOVA FINALLY SNAPS OFF THE HEADSCISSOR TAKEOVER SENDING THE CHAMPION FOR THE RIDE!
Jake Mercer: Machina is dazed for a moment as he gets to his feet, BUT HERE COMES NOVA WITH THE RUNNING DROPKICK SENDING MACHINA CRASHING INTO THE CORNER ONCE AGAIN!
Flannery McCoy: NOVA might not be the favorite in this match, but he is proving his worth and showing that he could leave as the New Breed Champion as he runs to the corner again AND CATCHES THE CHAMPION WITH A RUNNING CLOTHESLINE TO THE THROAT!
Jake Mercer: Now NOVA pulls Machina out of the corner before applying the facelock AND TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A SNAP SUPLEX! HOW THE HELL DID HE MANAGE TO DO THAT?
Stew-O: He’s not that small and momentum can certainly help. NOVA chooses to bring Machina back up to his feet and whip him to the ropes. Machina rebounds AND NOVA GOES FOR THE ROUNDHOUSE KICK–
Flannery McCoy: THAT MACHINA AVOIDS! Machina hits the ropes on the opposite side and rebounds again. NOVA turns around–
Stew-O: BAM! THERE’S THE “MONEY SHOT”! CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL BY THE NEW BREED CHAMPION AND THAT MIGHT HAVE DECAPITATED NOVA! Machina goes over to NOVA for the cover—
Jake Mercer: “LIGHTS OUT” BY CODY MAVERICK! SUPERMAN PUNCH CATCHES MACHINA RIGHT ON THE JAW! WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS? THE KAISER? Anyways, Machina is down and Cody goes for the cover on NOVA.
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHHRRRRRREEEE!
Flannery McCoy: NOVA GOT THE SHOULDER UP AT TWO AT THE SAME TIME MACHINA ATTEMPTED TO BREAK UP THE COVER! BOY THAT WAS CLOSE!
Stew-O: Once again, Machina was less than a second away from losing the New Breed Title without being involved in the decision. Either way, this has been a very
Jake Mercer: It’s getting a little annoying watching everyone try to shut out our New Breed Champion. So much jealousy in this match towards Michael Machina.
Flannery McCoy: You call it jealousy. We call it making a statement while trying to win a title. Right now, it’s Machina and Maverick who have made it back to their feet. These two men are glaring at each other once again.
Jake Mercer: AND IT IS MACHINA WHO THROWS A RIGHT HAND AND CATCHING MAVERICK IN THE FACE! TURNABOUT IS FAIR PLAY! REPEATED SHOTS STAGGER MAVERICK BACK TO THE ROPES!
Stew-O: Machina whips Cody to the ropes and Cody comes back AND MACHINA SNAPS HIM OVER WITH A POWERSLAM AND CODY LANDS HARD ON HIS BACK!
Flannery McCoy: Instead of going for a cover, he grabs Cody by the legs and TURNS HIM OVER INTO THE SINGLE LEG BOSTON CRAB! SUBMISSION MANEUVER APPLIED!
Stew-O: THE BOSTON CRAB IS APPLIED IN THE CENTER OF THE RING AND MACHINA IS PUTTING PRESSURE ON CODY’S BACK!
Jake Mercer: REMEMBER, STEW! IF CODY GIVES IT UP, MACHINA RETAINS THE TITLE! SO CODY SHOULD JUST GO AHEAD AND TAP OUT RIGHT NOW!
Flannery McCoy: CODY IS FIGHTING IT! CODY IS PULLING OUT THAT INNER STRENGTH AND TRYING TO DRAG HIMSELF TO THE ROPES TO GET A ROPE BREAK! CODY IS CLAWING HIMSELF TO THE ROPES WITH ALL THE STRENGTH HE HAS!
Stew-O: CODY IS ABOUT A FOOT AWAY FROM THE ROPE AS HE MAKES A LAST DITCH LEAP FOR THE ROPES—
Jake Mercer: BAHAHAHAHA! BUT MACHINA PULLS HIM RIGHT BACK TO THE CENTER OF THE RING AND HE DEEPENS THE BOSTON CRAB! Cody needs to think of something or else submitting is inevitable.
Flannery McCoy: LOOK! CODY MANAGES TO ROLL ONTO HIS BACK AND MACHINA TRIES TO GRAB CODY, BUT CODY GRABS HIM BY THE BACK OF THE NECK AND ROLLS HIM FORWARD!
Jake Mercer: Machina tried to block it, but Cody is somehow able to roll him up. Inside cradle could end the match right here.
ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!
Stew-O: MACHINA KICKS OUT AT TWO! HOLY CRAP THAT WAS CLOSE! Cody Maverick was a second away from becoming the New Breed Champion! What an amazing Championship Match we are witnessing here on Dynasty.
Flannery McCoy: This is a taste of the amazing action that we will see at Road to Redemption next week. Right now Cody and Michael have made it back to their feet. Machina was a little quicker–
Stew-O: MACHINA WITH THAT BLACK HOLE SLAM PLANTS CODY ON THE MAT! Machina right now looks to be close to ending the match here and now.
Jake Mercer: MACHINA! TURN AROUND! NOVA IS STANDING AGAIN AND HE IS ON THE APRON! TURN AROUND AND GET HIM!
Flannery McCoy: Machina does turn around AND HE RUNS RIGHT TO NOVA, BUT NOVA WITH A KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD SENDS MACHINA FALLING BACK!
Stew-O: NOVA runs all the way to the corner and climbs all the way to the top rope and waits for Machina to turn to him. He does AND NOVA JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPE FOR ANOTHER MOONSAULT–
Jake Mercer: BUT MACHINA CAUGHT NOVA! MACHINA GETS NOVA ONTO HIS SHOULDER WITH EASE FOR A RUNNING POWERSLAM–
Flannery McCoy: NOVA IS FIRING THOSE FOREARMS TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD TRYING TO GET FREE, BUT MACHINA STILL HAS HOLD OF HIM!! NOVA NOW WITH THE STRAIGHT UPPERCUTS SEND MACHINA STUMBLING BACK!
Jake Mercer: NOVA gets free and he lands on the apron once again. That was effective. He is back to where he was in the beginning. Such a great strategy.
Stew-O: I think it was because he got free of the New Breed Champion. Machina turns around AND HE GETS KICKED IN THE HEAD AGAIN BY NOVA!
Flannery McCoy: NOVA now dives through the ropes and grabs Machina by the head, AND HE HAS ENOUGH MOMENTUM TO PULL MACHINA DOWN AND CATCHES HIM WITH THE SLINGSHOT CUTTER!
Stew-O: “CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE” BY NOVA AND MACHINA GOES FACE FIRST TO THE CANVAS! MACHINA IS DOWN AS NOVA ROLLS HIM OVER! THIS COULD BE YOUR MOMENT, NOVA!
Jake Mercer: Don’t encourage him like that, but he does get Machina rolled onto his back and he goes for the cover.
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!
Flannery McCoy: AND CODY MAVERICK IS BACK TO HIS FEET RIGHT AND BREAKS UP THE COVER BEFORE THE REFEREE COMES DOWN FOR A THREE COUNT! NOVA WAS DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO BECOMING THE NEW BREED CHAMPION OFF THE CUTTER!
Stew-O: Tremendous action for the New Breed Championship and it is amazing watching these three young and determined competitors fighting for the chance to leave Dynasty with championship gold.
Jake Mercer: Look at this! Cody pulls NOVA off of Michael and he goes for the cover once again.
ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHH–
Flannery McCoy: NOVA JUST PULLED CODY OFF OF MICHAEL AND BROKE UP THE COVER! Cody is back to his feet and he is glaring at NOVA BEFORE HE SHOVES NOVA!
Cody Maverick: (off-mic) WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?
Jake Mercer: THIS IS GREAT! NOW NOVA JUST SHOVED CODY BACK!
NOVA: (off-mic) WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?
Stew-O: CODY JUST GRABBED NOVA BY THE THROAT AND BACKS HIM INTO THE CORNER! CODY IS STILL TALKING TRASH BEFORE HE JUST SLAPPED NOVA ACROSS THE FACE!
Flannery McCoy: Disrespect being shown by Cody Maverick as NOVA shoves Cody out of the corner AND GOES FOR A ROUNDHOUSE KICK–
Stew-O: BUT CODY CAUGHT THE KICK! NOVA IS BOUNCING AROUND ON ONE FOOT TRYING TO GET FREE–
Jake Mercer: NOVA HITS THE ENZUIGIRI AND THE BOOTS GO RIGHT IN THE SIDE OF CODY’S HEAD SENDING HIM STUMBLING INTO THE CORNER!
Flannery McCoy: Cody comes out of the corner AND NOW CODY AND NOVA ARE JUST BEATING THE HELL OUT OF EACH OTHER! ALL WHILE THE NEW BREED CHAMPION IS GETTING BACK TO HIS FEET!
Jake Mercer: That’s right. Let the Champion recover as much as he can. It isn’t going to hurt his feelings one bit.
Stew-O: Machina is back up to his feet and walks over to the brawl. He grabs the back of both NOVA and Cody’s head AND HE JUST CRACKS THEIR SKULLS TOGETHER!
Flannery McCoy: Meeting of the minds by the Champion, BUT THE CHALLENGERS GET THEIR WITS ABOUT THEM AND START POUNDING ON MACHINA ONCE AGAIN!
Stew-O: Cody and NOVA get control of Michael and whip him to the ropes. Machina comes back–
Jake Mercer: MACHINA AVOIDS THE SUPERKICK FROM NOVA AND THE SUPERMAN PUNCH FROM MAVERICK BEFORE HITTING THE ROPES! MACHINA COMES BACK AS THE CHALLENGERS TURN AROUND–
Stew-O: INTO THE “BULLET FROM HELL” BY THE NEW BREED CHAMPION AND HE GOT THEM BOTH! NEITHER CHALLENGER IS MOVING AS MACHINA GOT THE TWO FOR ONE SPECIAL WITH THAT SPEAR! MACHINA SCRAMBLES OVER TO NOVA AND GOES FOR THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHHRRREEEEEE!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“Dead Opps” starts playing again as Michael rolls off of NOVA and starts getting back to his feet as the referee goes to grab the title belt before Stephie Love announces the final decision.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match…
Stephie Love: AND STILLLLLLL THE ELITE ANSWERS WRESTLING NEW BREED CHAMPION! MICHAEL MACHINA!
Stew-O: What a great main event and an amazing triple threat match we just witnessed between three tough and determined New Breed competitors here tonight.
(The referee hands Machina the New Breed Championship and raises his arm in victory before going back to check on NOVA meanwhile Cody has rolled out of the ring and he is recovering on the outside of the ring as Machina leaves the ring and walks up the entrance ramp.)
Flannery McCoy: Great match indeed that could have gone either way and any of the three competitors could have won. We were close to seeing the title change hands on numerous occasions in this match.
Jake Mercer: Yeah, but it didn’t, did it? NOVA and Cody tried and NOVA and Cody FAILED! You know that close doesn’t count in EAW, so they leave with nothing and The New Breed of Legends continues to reign supreme.
Flannery McCoy: You are such a jackass sometimes. Just because you are fanboying over Michael, you can’t discredit the effort NOVA and Cody put into this match. Sure they might not have won the match, but have shown that they are going to be big threats in the future.
Stew-O: NOVA and Cody proved to be viable challengers for the New Breed Champion, but it is the reigning champion Michael Machina who beats the odds and retains the New Breed Title! Congrats once again to Michael on the victory!
(The final shot shows Michael celebrating his title defense at the top of the entrance ramp holding his title in the air before cutting to NOVA recovering in the ring while Cody Maverick is outside the ring looking pissed off that he didn’t win the title as the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(A commercial is shown for the World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road To Redemption.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns from the final commercial break of the night to show a pan-around shot of the arena, to which it’s not very long before ‘Clash of Gods’ by Norihito Sumitomo begins to play through the speakers. The crowd responds with thunderous cheers as the camera goes over to show World Heavyweight Champion Bronson Daniels as he makes his way out to the stage. Title over his shoulder he takes it and raises it into the air, pyro shooting out behind him before he makes his way down to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… the EAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! BRONSON DANIELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: There is only a week left before Bronson enters what is undoubtedly the biggest defense for not just his reign but anyone’s reign, stepping into the Extreme Elimination Chamber. The competition is going to be fierce, but seeing he’s headed out here tonight to close the show, he seems very confident in his chances heading into it.
Flannery McCoy: But that’s not to say that his opponents are going to stand by idly and take it. I anticipate all of them coming out and making themselves known especially since it’s the go-home show. There’s tension in the air, and I don’t know what to expect, but it’s certainly going to be interesting.
Jake Mercer: Road To Redemption, the end of Bronson Daniels’ World Heavyweight Championship reign. :wow: I will be there no matter what.
(Bronson makes his way around the ring and up the steel steps, entering through the ropes and raising his title into the air once more. ‘Clash of Gods’ begins to come to a close as he makes his way over and grabs a microphone from the ringside area, heading to the center of the ring as he would then begin to speak from there.)
Bronson Daniels: Usually I’d be the one who comes out to the ring with a positive outlook on things. I’d give this whole speech about being thrilled to compete in the Extreme Elimination Chamber and defend my World Heavyweight Championship at Road To Redemption. While something like that is still true, recently I’ve been very frustrated with everything that has happened these past couple of weeks. I look to this match and what I see before me is some of the very best that Friday Night Dynasty has to offer coming together and fighting for an opportunity to be the next World Heavyweight Champion, and the other five Elitists in this match have stepped up to the plate and proven why they have earned their spot in the match. But it seems like professionalism between them all was not a guarantee, and things between all of us recently have gone completely out of control. I was hoping that maybe all of us would be able to come to an understanding at the dinner that we attended, but I was wrong to think that there was going to be any sort of decorum between egos like that. Especially after last week, I’m through with it, and I’m at the point where I feel the only way that I can shut them up is by doing what I felt was guaranteed from the beginning, and that is retaining the World Heavyweight Championship in the Extreme Elimination Chamber next week.
Bronson Daniels: Don’t take this the wrong way, as I mentioned I respect them and what they have managed to do. I do believe that this is going to be the hardest defense of my title reign yet and I feel that this is what I need to push myself to the next level. They’re going to give it their all, but in the end, none of them have what I have, and none of them are going to be willing to do exactly what it takes to succeed as he does, and that’s what’s going to lead me to success. I’m very confident in what I have to offer-
(Before he can go any further, to the confusion of many in the crowd, ‘SkeeYee’ by Sexyy Red begins to blast through the speakers. Before long, Jake Smith is seen beginning to make his way out, and he is not all that receptive to what Bronson is putting out there right now. With an unsure expression on his face and a microphone in hand, he signals for his theme to fade before beginning to head down the ramp.)
Jake Smith: I hate to interrupt you… friend. But there is something that’s been on my mind and I just can’t seem to shake it. You talk about being sick of all of us and our “immaturity”, but if there is anyone that should be sick of anything, it’s me for everything that has happened between the two of us.
(Jake climbs up onto the apron, entering into the ring as he stands across from Bronson.)
Bronson Daniels: :francis: Jake-
Jake Smith: I know that we’re supposed to be The 420s! Everything’s fine! All goody goody! But that’s not going to stop me from telling my friend the truth, and that’s that you are in over your head. The funny part about all of this is that you think that you have the moral high ground in this entire situation, but the reality is that you are just as bad as the rest of us. You’ve fueled the flame by getting into petty business and followed that up by trying to make us take some form of “accountability” like you’re a leader. At Road To Redemption, you’re going to get eaten alive despite thinking that you have all the answers just like you were last year despite your best efforts. What’s going to happen with Jake Smith is going to mirror that as well, when I hold my second World Championship under the Chamber.
(Bronson looks to follow up, but before he can, ‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi begins to play up. The crowd gives a mixed reaction to the appearance of Myles as he comes out from the backstage area with his usually stoic expression. Microphone in hand, he does not waste any time already beginning to speak as he makes his way down the ring toward the two people already inside.)
Myles: I was hoping to let you share your piece, Jake, as ridiculous as it may have been, but I had to call you out and say that you are the last person to talk about what is “morally correct” in a situation like this. I have my own opinions about someone like Bronson and while, yes, I do believe that he is far from the perfect Elitist, to let Jake Smith of all people try and call him out for that is hypocritical and you know it. I’ve had to listen to the utter lie that you think you have everything over myself and everyone else in this match, and after having that regurgitated out for the past couple of weeks, I can safely say that nobody is buying it, not a single person. My entire journey to Road To Redemption up to this point is that I’m looking to redeem myself after my past failures, and no matter how perfect you think you are, Jake, nobody can stop me from doing that. This is way out of both of your leagues, and I’m going to show you just how far the gap is.
(Myles climbs up onto the apron and looks at both of them with a cold glare. Both Jake and Bronson don’t look all that intimidated by it, and before he can continue, ‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ by AFI plays up, the crowd cheering as Hans Grayson comes out, eager to say his piece to the three that are already inside of the ring. He has a microphone in his hand as he makes his way down.)
Hans Grayson: I understand that the three of you, along with another person who isn’t here right now, have your issues. You have your problems with one another and you plan to settle it next week in the Extreme Elimination Chamber. But I know more than anyone that if you take your eye off the ball for personal grudges, then it’s going to cost you, and someone is going to come in and sweep the rug right out from underneath you. I’m planning for that person to be m-
(‘Sakayume’ by King Gnu is heard interrupting Hans before he can really get into it, with a smug-looking Jay Jerry Johnson making his way out. Compared to the rest of the match, the two of them can be considered the middle ground amongst all of this, not really having a grudge against anyone and just looking to compete in this match for the main goal that’s in mind. With Hans looking back from the bottom of the ramp, Jay makes his way down.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: I apologize for interrupting you, Hans, but I saw the opportunity to tell you that I agree. Out of everyone, it seems like you and I have been the most level-headed out of the bunch. While they’re busy butting heads with each other over small disagreements, we have our eye on the prize and that is the way to succeed. I have had opportunities like this before, and while I have failed, I know that doesn’t mean it is all of a sudden the end of everything, especially with the amount that I have grown from this point.
Hans Grayson: I appreciate the sentiment, Jay. While I am proud of how much you have grown, your reign as Interwire Champion as an example, my resolve is stronger and I’m not going to let anyone take that away from me. This is my match to win, but there’s always next time, right?
(Jay doesn’t look all that happy at the comment made as he approaches Hans closer down the ramp.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: There’s not. I had an opportunity in the Chamber before and I lost, losing again proves nothing and brings me back to square one. While I’ve increasingly grown into a main event competitor, you are just getting your feet off the ground post-New Breed Championship reign. Going from that to a match like the Chamber is a huge leap.
Hans Grayson: And I’m ready.
(Jay furrows his brow, the two of them inside the ring while Jake, Bronson, and Myles all watch the back and forth they’re having. Last but not least, ‘Faneto’ by Chief Keef begins to play up, the crowd loudly booing as SOSA Henderson makes his way out. He has a big grin on his face as he eyes the other five inside of the ring.)
SOSA Henderson: I find it amusing that some of the blame can be placed on SOSA Henderson for starting all of this. I mean, you heard Bronson, I’m what has everyone butting heads because of my “tricks” and “maturity”. But as soon as I qualified for this match I was out to prove a point. I was out to show exactly why all the other times that I fought for a World Championship before this was not going to define what happens at Road To Redemption. I was willing to put everything on the line, no matter the cost, in order to succeed, and if you really think that you have SOSA Henderson scouted, then you’re absolutely wrong.
(SOSA makes his way into the ring as he comes face-to-face with all of his opponents inside of the ring.)
SOSA Henderson: I could run down all of you right now and you could do nothing about it. Hans and Jay are in the right place at the wrong time, and they’re going to find a way to tell you the entire week that they’re ready when the truth is they’re going to end up falling short and finding themselves back in the same exact position that they were in before. Myles ain’t been shit for a minute and his recent failures that he wants to talk about aren’t going to end up flipping into anything because he doesn’t have what it takes in order to be at the top of this company again. Jake is a pussy ass bitch who’s been trying to tell all of you that he’s going to be a two-time World Champion but can’t admit to himself that he’s already hit his ceiling and he’s never going to reach that level. You already know my thoughts about Bronson, and needless to say, he doesn’t have what it takes to sustain himself as World Champion, and he’s going to see what it’s like to lose to a real one when SOSA Henderson wins at Road To Redemption.
Bronson Daniels: House of Glass says otherwise, and even after you’ve done all of this I’m still having a hard time being convinced that anything is going to change about the result you saw in Glass Wallz. I’m not the Champion because this was just handed to me, I’m the Champion because I’m the best that this brand has to offer, and that means that I am better than each and every one of you not just because I say so, but because I don’t have a choice but to.
Hans Grayson: I won’t deny that it’s going to be an uphill battle for all of us, but in order to win we have to be better than you, Bronson, and I believe that even if nobody else has what it takes in this match, that I do. I have been waiting for this moment my entire career, and I’m not going to let it go to waste.
Jake Smith: The same thing that everyone else says when they get a fancy new opportunity like this. I remember when I was like you, fighting for my first chance to become a World Champion, I said the exact words that you did, I was as painfully optimistic as you were. But I was blind to the truth, and that was that I wasn’t ready, and that truth led to my demise.
Jay Jerry Johnson: Ironic.
Myles: Ironic coming from you too. There’s a whole lot of irony coming from everyone actually, and this is exactly what I expected out of five deluded fucks who will make themselves believe anything if it paints them in a better light.
SOSA Henderson: Like this redemption thing coming from you means anything? As far as I’m concerned you’re gearing yourself up for yet another World Championship loss this Season. Nothing will change that.
Bronson Daniels: :francis:
(Bronson expected the bickering out of the rest of them and expected them to have their say and come out to the ring, but he can’t deny that it’s beginning to get on his nerves.)
Bronson Daniels: All of you bring something to the table that nobody else has, and with that I find it very easy to believe that there is a claim for each of you to win this match. But I agree with the perspective of Jay and Hans when I say that if we continue to butt heads like this, it’s not going to lead us down the right path. So if you want to keep holding nonexistent grudges, then go right ahead, but my eyes have always been focused on one thing and one thing only, keeping my title around my waist next week.
Jake Smith: Here we go again Mr. Morally Correct.
SOSA Henderson: Can you shut the fuck up?
Jake Smith: You don’t have anything informative to say either.
SOSA Henderson: Let’s go right now then.
(Both SOSA and Jake begin to argue with one another, their problems dating nearly the entire Season beginning to reach their boiling point. Bronson tries to say his peace but Myles immediately shuts him off as the two of them start to argue as well, with Hans and Jay being dragged into everything by default.)
Stew-O: SOSA NAILS JAKE WITH A SUPERKICK BEFORE LUNGING AT HIM WITH STRIKES! BRONSON AND MYLES ARE GOING AT IT, AND JAY SENDS A STRIKE AT HANS TAKING THE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN IN! NOW ALL SIX OF THEM ARE GOING AT IT AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE EXPECTED!
Flannery McCoy: THE RING IS TOO CROWDED AND THIS FIGHT IS IMMEDIATELY SPILLING OUT TO THE RINGSIDE AREA! NONE OF THEM CAN WAIT UNTIL ROAD TO REDEMPTION! NONE OF THEM CAN WAIT UNTIL THEY’RE FACING EACH OTHER FOR THE EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER! THEY’RE GOING TO TRY AND TEAR EACH OTHER APART
(Hans has managed to get himself back into the ring, eyeing the other five on the outside as he has a smirk on his face, the crowd roaring loudly in support of the former New Breed Champion.)
Jake Mercer: HANS RUNS THE ROPES AND BACK… LAUNCHING OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TAKING ALL FIVE OF THEM DOWN WITH A BEAUTIFUL SPACEMAN PLANCHA! WHAT A MOVE!
Stew-O: THEY’RE HURT BUT THEY’RE QUICKLY GETTING UP AND GOING BACK TO BLOWS! THEY’RE TRADING STRIKES AND I DON’T THINK ANYONE IS GOING TO STOP UNTIL SECURITY COMES OUT TO BREAK THIS UP! THE CROWD IS LOVING THIS THOUGH!
Flannery McCoy: BUT A ROW OF SECURITY IS RUNNING FROM THE BACK DOWN TO THE RING! THEY’RE LOOKING TO BREAK THIS THING UP! WHAT AN ENDING TO THE SHOW TONIGHT!
(Security finally manages to break all six of them up as the crowd boos loudly, angry that this ended prematurely. Everyone in the Chamber is shouting at one another, looking to break free and tear each other apart, once again not looking to wait until next week. It’s still chaotic and everyone is being escorted away, and this scene of calamity is the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty then begins to fade completely to black.)
