(EAW intro plays…)
(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. After a brief montage showing off the events of last week’s show, a live shot of the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida is shown off! The shot transitions inside, capturing the sold out crowd, and after the pyro goes off on stage, the camera transitions to the commentary team.)
Stew-O: Good evening everyone, and welcome to Friday Night Dynasty! We are officially two weeks away from Road to Redemption! I am Stew-O and joining me as always is none other than Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy!
Jake Mercer: So much to look forward to, so much heating up, and so much to see! What’s gonna happen tonight as we’re just a couple of weeks shy from that show?!
Flannery McCoy: Definitely a lot, that’s for sure! But first, earlier in the evening, a press conference was held and, well, let’s just say that things got pretty intense quickly. Let’s take a look!
[SCREENBAR: EARLIER TODAY]
(A few hours before Friday Night Dynasty officially kicks off, the scene takes the viewers to a conference area, with Michael Belfort leading the affairs. Seated by a long table covered with a red cloth are Limmy Monaghan, Effy McAvoy, Michael Machina, Drake King, Kirk Redwood and Rex McAllister. Effy and Drake are, of course, joined by Ahren Fournier and Sister Annabelle respectively, whereas Michael is in the middle, getting all of the attention as the World Heavyweight champion. Everyone doesn’t look pleased given the weeks of mounting tension happening amongst themself, as evident by either the neurotic or outright annoyed expressions they don.)
(Various members of the media are present, ready with their cameras, notes and intrusive questions. After adjusting his tie for a brief moment, Michael speaks, kicking everything off.)
Michael Belfort: It certainly is a packed house here! But thank you to everyone who could make it. I’m Michael Belfort and I will be the one conducting this press conference for the World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber match that will be taking place at Road to Redemption. We are officially two weeks away from that show, and of course, all of the participants of it who are seated here are looking forward to such a pivotal match. One person in particular that’s ready is the defending champion himself: Michael Machina.
(Michael offers a brief nod.)
Michael Belfort: In fact, before we open up the floor to questions, I guess it would be only right to kick everything off with you. As the one who is heading into the chamber and having to defend the world championship against five hungry challengers, how are you feeling?
(Michael scoots his chair closer, holding onto the world title in question.)
Michael Machina: How am I feeling? Frankly, Michael, I’m just ready to whoop some ass and go about my way. Everyone here thinks they can win, that they can become the next world heavyweight champion, and I guess I can’t really fault them. We’re Elitists. We’re competitors. We’re all selfish and want to think we are the best and no one can ever touch them, but if any of them think that this match is going to be where I’m off my game, then they’re sorely mistaken. They’re already walking a thin line as is causing all of this needless circus the past couple of weeks thinking they can get me shaken up.
(Limmy rolls his eyes notably upon that statement, whereas Drake shakes his head. Michael catches on to their reactions but he continues to speak.)
Michael Machina: I’m the same guy who was able to claim my second world championship within the blink of an eye after losing my first one. It took me all of, what, three months? Meanwhile, when was the last time someone like Limmy, Rex and Drake held a world title? The gap has gotten pretty big, but unfortunately for those three men, it’s only going to widen once I beat them. Then you got people like Effy and Kirk who show promise, but again, that’s all they are: promise. They are the type of people who can feasibly carry the weight of this brand on their shoulders like me. I have been heralded as the future and have become that; this era of EAW is mine, and they’re simply not going to change that.
(Kirk perks up at that.)
Kirk Redwood: Really now? Someone sure is high and mighty, now.
Michael Machina: Well, when I’ve been able to win championships in a smaller time frame than your entire tenure here, Kirk, I think I am more than entitled to act however I want to act.
Kirk Redwood: And you certainly are entitled to make the same, empty-headed ‘jokes’ as those before you have.
Michael Machina: Sorry that I haven’t spent much time studying the kind of comedy you desire, but Kirk — what do you expect me to say? In fact, what do you expect for ANYONE here to say? All you have to hang your hat on is a tag team reign that isn’t remembered all that fondly, and look, I understand that not everyone is going to find immediate success in their career. Still, it has to sting that your ex-mate not only proved to be the better Elitist out of the two of you but he’s still seen in a favorable light even with him no longer competing.
(Kirk snorts.)
Kirk Redwood: Now you’re just talking outta yer ass for the sake of riling me up. You really think I give a shit about Solomon? That’s old news, just like he is now. However, I have never been fond of comparing myself to anyone. I do shit my way, and you can say whatever you want, but Tyrone ultimately selected me to be in this match. I give a fight, I raise hell, and I go out to that ring and beat the crap of whoever stands in my way. I may not have the most glamour resume, but I don’t need to be some corporate meat puppet to be noticed.
Limmy Monaghan: That’s putting it lightly.
(Kirk immediately cuts his eyes at him.)
Kirk Redwood: And why am I not surprised you wanna try and pass off some slick shit to me? Don’t think I’ve forgotten about all of the bullshit that has gone down between us, especially with last week.
Limmy Monaghan: Oh, so what? You’re mad? You’re upset? Am I supposed to sit here and shiver at the thought of what Kirk Redwood is going to do to me?
Kirk Redwood: You ain’t gotta tremble like a pathetic chihuahua, but you damn sure should be a bit more on guard, ‘Ace’. Every action has a consequence, and when I’m having to put up with people who clearly don’t take me seriously, I’m not going to just roll over and allow for the disrespect to continue.
(Rex sighs, shaking his head.)
Rex McAllister: Well, if anything, I say that all of this has been completely unserious.
Limmy Monaghan: And what do you mean, exactly?
Rex McAllister: Everything. It’s all just so foolish. The way you run around stirring up trouble, how everyone has been going back and forth, it’s just too much.
Limmy Monaghan: Really? Just as unserious as Raven essentially having your balls in her hand and dictating everything the two of you do?
(That makes Rex narrow his eyes.)
Rex McAllister: She doesn’t dictate anything, but I respect her as my wife and tag team partner. That’s how a partnership operates, but apparently, you’re way too good for that. Drake is a miserable fool, but at least he has someone who can apparently tolerate his presence.
Sister Annabelle: Please, I do not wish to be brought into this senseless quarrel. I only help him out, nothing more, nothing less.
Ahren Fournier: Help him? Bahahaha! Look at this fake religious bitch trying to be all prim and proper.
Effy McAvoy: Is it really necessary to call her that? :lupe:
Ahren Fournier: Come now, Effy! Don’t be so naive!
(Drake lets out a long, dragged-out sigh. Annabelle seems to mutter the word ‘ignorant’ underneath her breath. Michael Belfort, sensing the tension, decides to switch gears.)
Michael Belfort: Well, we’re on a strick timeframe as everyone has to get ready for the show tonight, so we’ll allow one question for each: and we can start off with Limmy Monaghan!
(A reporter stands.)
Kathryn Johnson: Kathryn Johnson from World Wide Wrestling News. Limmy, some are saying that this match is awfully poetic as, of course, a few years ago you won the World Heavyweight Championship inside of the chamber. Do you think that experience will be enough to help you win, or are you looking to change things up heading into this match?
Limmy Monaghan: A bit of both, honestly. Of course, I know what it takes and what one has to endure in order to win a chamber match, especially with such a prestigious championship on the line. I can’t help but also think how everything is seemingly lining up for me, how this route is leading me to recapture that same bit of magic I’ve been able to procure for myself and prove to everyone I was absolutely meant for this. However, I cannot be too comfortable. As much as I may believe this to be my match to win, I cannot get too relaxed. I have to stay vigilant, and regardless of my personal feelings with some of the people here… I’d be a fool to act as though I can replicate my prior performance to perfection and expect the outcome to be the same. I am definitely going to take a different approach this year, all while using everything I had to deal with as a guide in persistence, and if I have to knock each and every single person here down with my own blade? Then I will do that.
(Kirk seems unimpressed with that answer. Limmy side-eyes him as another reporter stands up.)
Ryan Velesquez: Hi, Ryan Velesquez here for WrestlePedants, and this question is directed to Effy McAvoy. Effy, of course, many would consider you to be the wildcard of this match, yet while you don’t have as much experience as the others, you have proven yourself more than capable of being a champion and beating the very best. How—
Ahren Fournier: Oh my god, no, no, no, please STOP with such generic, shamelessly low-effort questions, I beg! Who cares about her experience!? My dear Effy is the best, and she is going to show that off in two weeks when she defeats these idiots and claims the world heavyweight title for herself! Especially as the first woman to hold it!! Those jealous little hags like Cameron Ella Ava will be at home and feel absolute envy at her for doing what they’ve failed to do!!
(…)
(…)
Rex McAllister: … fail to do what, exactly? Cameron was the first female Answers World Champion.
Ahren Fournier: SHUT UP, YOU CUCK!!!!
Rex McAllister: Not that, but at least I don’t have to come home to only a cat. :umad:
Ryan Velesquez: R-right. Well then, Effy, I guess to not be so basic: what do you think you bring to the table that can help you win at Road to Redemption?
Effy McAvoy: Well, aside from being trained by the greatest EAW Elitist of all time, I think it’s that experience you mentioned. I mean, this is perhaps the most star-studded match that I’ve ever been in, only rivaling Brand Warfare, and while I wished I did a bit more for my team… we won. I got to be in the main event of a major marquee event and win. I’m getting more used to these matches, and I’m not intimidated by anyone. I know I’m not the favorite, but it doesn’t bother me. And I think that’s a good thing. More impressionable Elitists or those with fewer matches underneath their belts would be so nervous and anxious, but me? I’m ready for this, and having Ahren by my side is going to make things all the more easier as I prepare for this.
Ahren Fournier: Good job, Effy, I guess I don’t need to get you that PR coach after all!
Michael Machina: :dababy:
Najeem Irvin: Alright, guess I’m next! I’m Najeem Irvin of The Daily Graps, and Drake King… or, I guess Annabelle? I’m not entirely sure who I’m supposed to direct this question to.
Sister Annabelle: You can ask me.
Najeem Irvin: Alright then, so, this has easily been the most turbulent season for Drake King yet, with all of the rivalries happening and the growing gap in between championships. How has all of that truly affected him?
(Annabelle gives a glance down at Drake, who nods at her to proceed.)
Sister Annabelle: Well, yes, it hasn’t been the most ideal season for him thus far. He has been frustrated, as we have all seen for ourselves. However, Drake is committed to ensuring that his temper does not get the better of him, especially with a massive opportunity being presented. He’s focused, and ready. He wants for those issues to fuel him rather than serve as a crutch, and he is not going to let his emotions unfurl. Especially when he was once World Heavyweight Champion himself, it would be a meaningful accolade for him to recapture. He’s dedicated to that goal, and that’s all that matters.
Kirk Redwood: Tch. Guess we’ll see how that holds up later on when he has to deal with Methuselah.
Sister Annabelle: You can doubt, but Drake is always focused on the goal at hand — even if the match is far from ideal…
Limmy Monaghan: At least Methuselah would probably make for a better, competent tag team partner than some people…
Kirk Redwood: Okay, so now you wanna throw out jokes too, huh, Funny guy?
(Kirk stands up.)
Limmy Monaghan: Oh, what’s this? You want to go?
(Limmy shoots up as well, but security guards immediately get in, making both men sit back down before things get too volatile.)
Michael Belfort: :lupe: !!!
(Both men are annoyed by the intervention, but they decide to remain seated. An uncomfortable feeling hangs in the air, but the next questionnaire stands.)
Anna Matthews: Anna Matthews for ESPN! Rex, you have never been double champion before, but should you win in two weeks, you will be able to add yourself to that small but prestigious list, which just so happens to also include Drake King within it. How do you plan on managing all of the responsibilities that would come your way through that?
Rex McAllister: Ah, it’s definitely not gonna be easy sailing, especially when Raven and I are dedicated to being the best champions possible for these tag titles. However, I think I will approach it as I do with anything, which is with integrity and a genuine desire to be a worthwhile champion. To some, it’s easier said than done because hold another title on top of being a world champion is nothing to sneeze at. Still, I’m the same guy that people didn’t think was going to amass a hall of fame career and, well, here I am, aren’t I? Doubts are nothing new to me.
Michael Machina: That’s fine and dandy, but you gotta be realistic too, Rex: there’s only so much burden you can bear before it crumbles down on you. You’re not afraid that you’re gonna be weaker in some spots?
Rex McAllister: Huh? No, I’m not. My fortitude has always been my greatest strength. I’m not going to allow myself to get distracted, just like how I won’t be distracted when it comes to beating you and everyone else here.
Kirk Redwood: And now he wants to act all tough..
Rex McAllister: It’s not about ‘acting tough’, it’s about being focused, and no one here is more focused than me. Of course, you guys are more than welcomed to prove me wrong when it’s time to do so, but honestly? I don’t think that’s going to happen. I hate to break it to you all, but I am absolutely motivated for this match, and that isn’t going to change.
Kirk Redwood: If you say so…
(Rex narrows his eyes slightly, but another reporter stands.)
Jesse Hay: Hey, Jesse Hay here from Fox Sports. Kirk, you definitely seem to have a massive chip on your shoulder as the other Elitists here have taken potshots at you. Yet, you aren’t deterred about it and remain confident in your chances of winning. So, who do you personally consider to be the weakest link amongst this group?
(That question draws out an amused chuckle from Redwood.)
Kirk Redwood: The weakest link, huh? I mean, do I really have to elaborate any further?
(Unsurprisingly, he points at Limmy.)
Kirk Redwood: Come on, this jackass has spent his time being a knock-off Jamie O’Hara after the guy retired and hasn’t done much at all since he decided to don that dingy little cape of his. He’s the one with the popularity complex and wants to be seen as someone who has shifted the wrestling culture drastically here when he was just a one-hit douchebag that has outlasted his charm. He’s egotistical, sensitive, and realizing that people aren’t just gonna bow down and give him his credit on demand, he wants to feel some type of way.
Limmy Monaghan: I don’t think I should be the one being called weak when you were just trying to initiate a fight with me, but okay, Kirk, I hear you. I’m the weakest link. The same man who has actually won this exact matchtype is the one that’s clearly going to flounder.
Kirk Redwood: And like I said, you’re an egotistical jackass. That’s gonna be your own undoing. I’m a piece of shit, but at least I don’t act like I’m bigger than anyone.
Limmy Monaghan: That’s because you don’t have the luxury to do so. How many more times—
Michael Machina: —are you two going to bicker like this is a school cafeteria? Okay, we get it, you both hate each other, we all hate each other, frankly, but give it a damn rest already.
Limmy Monaghan: Easy, champ. Don’t speak to me like that.
Michael Machina: Really? And what are you going to do?
Limmy Monaghan: Come on, Michael. I’ve given you nothing but props. I saw your potential sooner than anyone else here. Don’t make me take back any and all goodwill I have for you.
Michael Machina: That’s rich, ‘cause any goodwill I had for you pretty much went down the damn drain last season when we were on Voltage. Kirk may not be worth shit to you, but you know what? At least he’s right in saying you do have an ego. Hell, you’re giving Drake King a run for his money, and he calls himself God!
Ahren Fournier: Sad, sad, world…
Rex McAllister: Why, because you’re no longer at the top of the Most Hated Leaderboard? Yeah, I agree. :mjlol:
Ahren Fournier: That wasn’t even funny! Again, shut up!
Michael Belfort: Well, I guess it’s a good thing we only have one more question left, and it goes to the champ…
Christian Clarke: Hi, Christian Clarke for CBS Sports. Michael, how do you plan on dealing with so many people who are intent on beating you, even with all of the interpersonal, uh, conflict that’s happening?
Michael Machina: I don’t have a plan. I’m not formulating some calculated decisions. I don’t need to. I’m a once-in-a-lifetime talent that has continued to supersede any and all expectations people have for me. I’m the one who’s setting the pace. And yeah, I am the man to beat, but I’m in that position for a reason. Everyone here knows that if they can take me down, or hell, eliminate me from the match entirely, then they’ve done something major for themselves. Regardless of their tenure, their status, I’m not the one who’s sweating at night thinking about what I’m gonna do in the chamber…
(Michael leans back, bringing the championship onto his shoulder.)
Michael Machina: I’m the one everyone’s watching. However, when a target’s on me? I don’t crumble. I persist, I dominate, and all of these talking heads can chirp as much as they want, but they’re gonna get shot down one by one — just like their dreams of becoming the next EAW World Heavyweight Champion. That’s all there is to it.
(Michael stands and heads off, with everyone else watching.)
Michael Belfort: Oh! Well then, I guess that’s it! Thank you all for attending, and we hope you enjoy Friday Night Dynasty later on!
(The final shot shows the rest of the competitors looking at one another with narrowed eyes before the scene fades.)
(A commercial plays for Road to Redemption.)
[Mia Santoro vs. KASAI TBP ASAP!]
(Backstage, Anna Wautier is seen warming up for her match against Kirk Redwood. However, someone approaches her with a quickened pace. Anna senses this and turns her head.)
Anna Wautier: Oh. That pout is new.
(BRAE stands, the Interwire title on his shoulder — along with a frown.)
BRAE: Now is not the time for you to jest, Anna. You know why I am upset right now.
Anna Wautier: Do I, now?
(She stops stretching and folds her arms to her chest, looking right back at him.)
Anna Wautier: Is it because I caught you off guard before you could’ve done the same to me? That I proved you wrong? Showed that I absolutely do have fangs for teeth? I told you I wasn’t going to hold back, BRAE, especially since ever since I became the rightful challenger for you title, you have had these lingering doubts about me, not to mention that you have gotten in my way before and worked against me. I was never going to be this quiet, meek Elitist who doesn’t know how to stand up for myself, so please, save the snarling and crass words for someone that is more easy to intimidate than me.
BRAE: Intimidate? No, no, this has nothing to do with that. I’m not the type to corner someone like a helpless lamb and demand them to shiver before me. However, there is such a thing as playing dangerous games, Anna, and you are beginning to cut at my patience.
Anna Wautier: And why should that worry me? Is this not what wrestling is all about? I came here to carve out my own legacy and be among the very best. I had no problem keeping things respectful between us, truly, but your hands are just as dirty. You were the same man who a couple of weeks ago questioned my resolved and what I actually bring. You saw me as another easy defense, someone that had a lucky night and wasn’t going to pose a genuine problem for you, but your budding hubris got in the way, and now you wish to look at me like a man scorned.
(She shakes her head, developing a sharp frown of her own.)
Anna Wautier: But I have no regrets. I’ve made you notice me. You cannot deny that this is an easy route for you anymore. Now, you will be able to truly see for me for who I am as opposed to someone merely akin to a passing glance. And at Road to Redemption? You will have no choice but to watch on as I hold that very same title you have above my head and crown it as mine.
(Her finger pokes at the title, and BRAE jerks his shoulder away from her, not wanting her to touch it.)
BRAE: So you say. Well then, I sincerely hope you are as ready as you proclaim to be, because I am not going to allow you to take this title from me. Not with everything I have seen from you. You want to act as if you’e standing up for yourself when you come across as nothing more than a petulant child upset that I merely desired to see your true strength. You misinterpreted my words, my intent, as I wish for everyone to bring their best…
(BRAE pauses. Then, he shakes his head. A low chuckle leaves him breathlessly.)
BRAE: … But I will say, you have done a swell job getting me vexxed. It has been so long since I’ve felt this way with anyone. Rarely do I allow for even a sliver of frustration to take a hold of me as everyone in this sport thrives off of emotions, but you? You’ve done the trick. So, good job, Anna.
(He takes a step forward.)
BRAE: Just be prepared for what’s to come now.
(Anna takes another step herself.)
Anna Wautier: I will. Don’t you worry. My energy will not wither. You will get everything and more when it is time for us to fight… and you will lose, BRAE. You will lose everything.
(BRAE doesn’t like that. However, Anna moves past him, set on making her entrance. BRAE turns, fingers curling tightly along the frame of the Interwire title. The final shot shows him watching on as the scene fades back to the ringside area, and the commentary team are heard speaking.)
Jake Mercer: Damn! Fireworks were ready to pop off with those two, and it isn’t even new year’s yet! This Interwire match between BRAE and Anna Wautier is heating up more and more.
Flannery McCoy: Anna has been trying to go tit-for-tat with the champion, and on one hand, she truly is fearless. However, BRAE is one of the most intense and downright dangerous talent we have on Dynasty. He’s been able to remain champion for six months for that reason alone, and if she isn’t careful, all of this can backfire on her easily. :lupe:
Stew-O: I guess we’ll see if Anna Wautier has what it takes to be the true kryptonite for BRAE — just like how we’ll see if she’s able to pick up some major momentum as she takes on Kirk Redwood in our next match!
(‘Ballad of a Prodigal Son’ by Lincoln Durham sounds through the speakers as the crowd gives Kirk Redwood a negative reception. Kirk comes out with an intense look on his face. He cracks his neck to the side before setting his sights to the ring.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS…WEIGHING AT THE WEIGHT OF 210 POUNDS…HE IS ‘THE UNKILLABLE’…KIRK REDWOOD!!!!!!
Stew-O: Kirk Redwood is one of the Elitists who will participate in the Extreme Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship! He has found himself clashing with Kirk within the past few weeks! Last week, Kirk decided to make his presence felt and it led to him and Limmy clashing! This led to a No Contest in Limmy’s match against Milli Banks!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk Redwood will be known as the dark horse going into the Extreme Elimination Chamber, but I think he doesn’t care. He is going to use that to fuel a fire within him!
Jake Mercer: But, right now, he is going up against a woman who he’s faced more than once this season, Anna Wautier!
(‘Altair’ by INUWASI begins to play through the speakers as the crowd gives a nice pop to Anna Wautier who comes out, feeling hyped. She surveys the crowd around her before shifting her focus to Kirk Redwood inside the ring.)
Stephie Love: AND…INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT…FROM YOKOHAMA, JAPAN…SHE IS ‘THE THORN PRINCESS’…ANNA WAUTIER!!!!!!
Stew-O: Anna Wautier has a date with BRAE for the Interwire Championship at Road to Redemption! Anna has been on her a-game as of late! At House of Glass, she defeated Grace De Luca and Kirk Redwood to get herself an opportunity at the title! Once more, she faces the man who she outsmarted the last time they squared off!
Flannery McCoy: Anna Wautier has a great shot at being the one to dethrone BRAE for the title! It’s not going to be simple, but she’s ready for the challenge! She has all the tools to get the job done, but defeating Kirk Redwood, who needs some momentum for himself, will be excellent for her!
Jake Mercer: Kirk Redwood has a fire lit underneath his ass! He was outsmarted by Anna Wautier last time! There’s no way that he allows that to happen again!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: AND…ANNA WAUTIER GOES STRAIGHT AFTER KIRK REDWOOD!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Anna Wautier strikes Kirk Redwood with fists to the face as that takes him back to the horizontal set of ropes! Kirk has his fists up, ducking the blows from those rapid fists! It seems like he’s looking for his opening here!
Jake Mercer: AND, HE DUCKS OUT OF THE STRIKE AS HE PUSHES ANNA WAUTIER TO THE ROPES! HE BEGINS TO CONNECT WITH A SERIES OF LEFT AND RIGHT STRIKES TO THE FACE OF THE WOMAN WHO WILL BE FACING BRAE FOR THE INTERWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!
Stew-O: Kirk Redwood leans forward with a knife edge chop to the chest of Anna Wautier! Anna jolts in response as she clutches to her chest! Kirk connects with another knife edge chop to the chest! Anna clutches her chest in response, but Kirk uses her other hand to connect with an arm winger as that sends her forward! Anna lands right on her face as Kirk rolls her over to her back! He connects with some rapid right hand punches to the face! He picks her up by the waist before lifting her over his head with a German suplex! He has a bridge applied to that as the referee gets in position for the count!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TT–
Flannery McCoy: Anna Wautier rolls back, finding her way to her feet! She grabs the arms of Kirk Redwood as she begins to stomp on the face of Kirk! Anna is looking to do what she can to weaken Kirk! Kirk is hard hitting! Each move that he does is intense and full of power! He will knock you down with a simple punch to the face! Anna sits Kirk up before underhooking his arms and I think that she may be looking for a dragon suplex! BUT, KIRK IS NOT GOING TO LET THAT HAPPEN! HE SHOOTS A BACK ELBOW TO ANNA’S FACE! THIS CAUSES HER TO STAGGER BACK! ANNA DOESN’T STAY BACK FOR LONG AS HE RUNS BACK TO KIRK, BUT KIRK NAILS HER WITH A ROLLING ELBOW AS THAT KNOCKS HER DOWN!
Jake Mercer: Kirk Redwood sits Anna Wautier up before connecting with a series of elbow shots to the back of her head and neck! Kirk is showing no mercy when it comes to Anna! He hoists her up to her feet before turning her around before connecting with an open palm strike to the side of her face —ANNA LOOKS TO DROP DOWN TO A KNEE! BUT, KIRK MANAGES TO PICK HER UP BY THE CHIN! HE IS NOT ALLOWING HER TO DROP AS HE DELIVERS A SECOND OPEN PALM STRIKE TO THE SIDE OF HER FACE! ANNA DROPS DOWN TO A KNEE, BUT KIRK IS NOT DONE HERE! HE GRABS HER FROM UNDERNEATH HER CHIN BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A THIRD OPEN PALM STRIKE TO THE FACE AS THAT CAUSES HER TO COLLAPSE TO THE MAT!
Stew-O: Now, those open palm strikes didn’t look good, Jake and Flann! Kirk Redwood picks up Anna Wautier and connects with a bridge hooked belly-to-belly suplex! He holds Anna there for the cover!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTT—
Flannery McCoy: Anna Wautier with a kick out! Kirk Redwood gets Anna up before connecting with an uppercut that staggers her back! She races forward as Kirk stops her in her tracks with a kitchen sink as that causes her to flip forward to her stomach! Now, Kirk gets Anna into a front headlock before connecting with a hatch suplex! He takes Anna back with such ease! Almost like Anna weighed like a bag of feathers!
Jake Mercer: Well, Flannery! Anna Wautier weighs 142 pounds to Kirk Redwood’s 210! But, still, we know that Kirk has a ton of strength, so this might be effortless for him! Kirk turns Anna to her stomach! He places his attention towards her legs and it seems like he’s twisting her legs with his! I think that he may be going for the surfboard stomp —
(Kirk Redwood stomps as Anna Wautier legs out a loud screech as she rolls out of the way. She ducks her head underneath the ropes as the referee begins to check on her.)
Stew-O Kirk Redwood is showing some aggression here! He is pacing inside the ring as he observes Anna Wautier being evaluated! Anna clutches to the middle rope as she tries to get herself back up! She’s not looking to throw in the towel here! She knows that BRAE is observing this match backstage!
Flannery McCoy: Not only them, Stew, but we have Michael Machina and the other competitors in the Extreme Elimination Chamber who are observing this match, seeing if there is anything to exploit from Kirk Redwood going into this match up!
Jake Mercer: Slowly, we see Anna Wautier rising! But, Kirk Redwood had enough with waiting as he went right after the number one contender for the Interwire Championship! He runs towards her with a sharp dropkick to her gut as that sends her through the middle rope and outside of the ring! Anna finds herself outside! BUT, KIRK SEEMS TO BE FIRED UP AS HE LAUNCHES HIMSELF THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE WITH A SUICIDE DIVE! ANNA GETS TAKEN BACK TO THE FRONT OF OUR TABLE!
Stew-O: Kirk Redwood is looking good! But, Anna Wautier is looking for some way to get herself into this match! She’s survived in the ring against someone like Kirk once! It’s possible that it can happen again!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk Redwood looks to be prepared for what Anna Wautier throws his way! He picks up Anna and looks to get her in a powerbomb position! Jesus Christ, I think that he’s going to powerbomb her to the steel ring post! BUT, ANNA IS PUNCHING THE TOP OF KIRK’S HEAD! ANNA IS STILL ALIVE AND FIGHTING IN THIS MATCH UP! KIRK TURNS HIS ANGLE AND THROWS ANNA TO THE APRON! BUT, ANNA MANAGES TO LAND HER FEET ON THAT APRON!
Jake Mercer: ANNA WAUTIER WAITS FOR KIRK REDWOOD TO TURN TO HER BEFORE FLYING OFF THE APRON AND TAKING HIM TO THE SIDE WITH A HURRICANRA! KIRK’S HEAD BOUNCES TO THE STEEL POST! Yikes for Kirk! But, this was exactly what Anna needed to turn things around for her! She waits for Kirk to start getting to his feet before knocking him down with a rapid roundhouse to the skull! But, look at this, Flann and Stew! Kirk is refusing to go down! He is asking for Anna to hit him harder!
Stew-O: Anna Wautier is fired up even more as she goes for a series of rapid roundhouses to the face! She is not holding back when it comes to Kirk Redwood! Kirk’s skull goes back, but continues to leanm forward only to be kicked back! Anna delivers one last roundhouse as she sends him back! Anna gives a loud battle cry before getting Kirk and rolling him back inside the ring! If I were Anna, I’d look to end the match here! SHE’S STALKING KIRK INTO A SEATED POSITION BEFORE SHE RUNS TO HIM AND CONNECTS WITH ‘TRUENO DESTRODA’ – THE RUNNING DOUBLE FOOTSTOMP AS THAT TAKES KIRK BACK! ANNA GOES FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk Redwood gets a shoulder up! Anna Wautier turns Kirk to his stomach before grabbing his left arm and flipping herself, applying the fujiwara armbar! Kirk finds himself in some trouble as Anna applies the armbar! This isn’t the most ideal situation for Kirk! He relies on his hand to throw his punches, along with the force of his arm to intensify the punches! ANNA WRENCHES THE ARM BACK, APPLYING MORE PRESSURE ONTO THE HOLD! HE GRINDS HIS TEETH AGAINST EACH OTHER, TRYING TO PREVENT HIMSELF FROM YELLING! IT SEEMS LIKE HE’S FOCUSED ON THE BOTTOM ROPE ACROSS FROM HIM!
Jake Mercer: Kirk Redwood begins to drag his body to the bottom rope! Anna Wautier begins to wrench the arm back, but he is using that free arm of his to drag his and Anna’s body weight to the bottom rope —HE MAKES IT!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!
Stew-O: Anna Wautier releases the fujiwara armbar quickly! She cannot risk getting herself disqualified here! Kirk Redwood manages to get his hand to the ropes and yanks himself up to his feet! Anna goes right after him, throwing left and right punches to knock him down! BUT, KIRK PUSHES HER AWAY! I THINK THAT HE MAY HAVE CREATED AN OPENING FOR HIMSELF HERE! HE RUNS RIGHT TO ANNA, BUT ANNA CATCHES HIM OFF GUARD WITH A SIDE FLIP ARM DRAG! KIRK GETS FLIPPED AND KNOCKED TO THE HORIZONTAL SET OF ROPES! ANNA RUNS TO HIM, FOLLOWING THAT UP WITH A BASEMENT DROPKICK TO THE FACE AS HE FALLS BACK! ANNA PULLS HIM AWAY BEFORE GOING FOR THE COVER ON HIM!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk Redwood with a kick out! Anna Wautier slams her hands to the mat! I think that she’s aware that she needs to put away Kirk now rather than later! SHE GETS KIRK AND I THINK THAT SHE MIGHT BE LOOKING FOR THE TRIANGLE CHOKE! SHE LIKES TO CALL HER VERSION OF THE MOVE, ‘STARRY NIGHT PRISON!’ SHE WRAPS HER LEGS AROUND THE NECK OF KIRK — BUT KIRK REALIZES WHAT ANNA WAS LOOKING TO DO HERE! HE THROWS A PUNCH TO THE FACE OF THE YOUNG WOMAN! HE THROWS ANOTHER PUNCH AS SHE LOOKS TO FIGHT BACK! BUT, ANNA GRABS KIRK BY HIS HEAD BEFORE DELIVERING THE ‘PARADISE KISS’ — THAT’S HER VERSION OF THE HEADBUTT! KIRK GOES DOWN AS ANNA TURNS KIRK TO HIS SIDE! SHE IS GRABBING THAT LEFT ARM THAT SHE TARGETED EARLIER IN THIS MATCH UP! SHE EXTENDS IT BACK —
Jake Mercer: THE INVERTED ARM BREAKER! THAT’S ‘HANAYOME NO TANSU!’ BUT, KIRK REDWOOD MANAGES TO COUNTER WITH AN ARM DRAG AS SHE SENDS ANNA WAUTIER FORWARD! Kirk Redwood finds himself back to his feet as he knocks Anna down with a ‘Blitzkreg Bop’ — the knee strike to the back of Anna’s head! This causes her to drop to her knees as he follows that up with a ‘Bastard-plex’ — the arm trapped back suplex! Kirk has his arms up in confidence! He looks down at Anna! He knows exactly what he needs to do! He needs to end this match once and for all!
Stew-O: Kirk Redwood slowly begins to back away to one of the corners! But, his eyes remain focused on Anna Wautier! He is gesturing for Anna to get to her feet! I think that he’s looking for the ‘Parole Violation’ — the somersault into a spear!
(The crowd begins to react as the camera pans to Limmy Monaghan strolling down the ramp to observe the match up close. Kirk Redwood turns his head to Limmy before a heated look appears on his face.)
Flannery McCoy: Limmy Monaghan making his presence felt in this match up as Kirk Redwood turns his attention off Anna Wautier! Now, I don’t think that this is the wisest decision for him!
(Kirk Redwood gets near the ropes as he glares at Limmy Monaghan. Limmy stands on the apron, matching Kirk’s glare. Limmy remains calm and banters. Kirk is fired up, shit talking to him)
Jake Mercer: KIRK REDWOOD GOES TO SWING A PUNCH AT LIMMY MONAGHAN, BUT LIMMY JUMPS OFF THE APRON AT THE LAST SECOND! KIRK MISSES HIS PUNCH, BUT LOOK! FROM BEHIND —
Stew-O: ANNA WAUTIER ROLLS UP KIRK REDWOOD FOR THE COUNT, BUT KIRK SAW THAT COMING A MILE AWAY! HE IS NOT LOOKING TO LOSE THIS MATCH BY A ROLL UP AGAIN! HE RUNS RIGHT AFTER ANNA, BUT ANNA TAKES HIM FORWARD WITH A HIP TOSS! SHE HAS HIM BY HIS LEG AS SHE TAKES HIM TO HIS STOMACH FIRST! BUT, SHE MANUVERS HERSELF AROUND AS SHE HAS A SEATBELT PIN ON KIRK! SHE HOLDS ONTO HIS LEG AS THE REFEREE GOES FOR THE COUNT! IS THIS GOING TO BE IT HERE?!?!?
OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
TTTTHHHHHRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Altair’ plays once more to an ovation from the crowd as Anna Wautier rolls out of the ring before Kirk Redwood could get her hands on her. She collapses down on the bottom of the ramp. Limmy Monghan stands next to her as he claps for her amazing counter to win the match.)
Stephie Love: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…ANNA WAUTIER!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Anna Wautier defeats Kirk Redwood once more!
Jake Mercer: And, it’s thanks to Limmy Monaghan, Flannery! He decided to make his presence known towards the end of the match and that took Kirk off guard! Kirk was so determined to get one over Limmy, he took his eyes off the prize for a slight second! He tried not to lose by the simple roll up, but Anna got creative and went for a seatbelt pin and that won her the match!
Stew-O: This adds more tension to the Extreme Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Championship! It also lets BRAE know that Anna Wautier is ready to face him and that she has a TON of tricks underneath her sleeve!
(Kirk Redwood has a death stare locked on Limmy Monaghan who gives a slight shrug, pretending to be oblivious to what he did wrong. The last shot is of Anna Wautier celebrating up the ramp.)
(A commercial plays for Rosalia’s ‘LUX’ album, featuring Michael Machina.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to show an undisclosed area of the Kaseya Center, as the camera focuses on SOSA Henderson, who’s seen seated on a production crate with a hood over him and his head down. The crowd reacts to the World Champion with a sour reaction as he looks upward at the camera, taking his hood off as he begins to speak.)
SOSA Henderson: Everyone’s been waiting to hear what SOSA Henderson had to say about last week. They’ve all suddenly got something to say, bullshit about “integrity” and “honor.” They want to talk about how the match ended, the poke to the eye, the inside cradle, but see, that’s the difference between the people watching the game and the people playing it. You all watch for the moments that make you feel good, but SOSA Henderson plays for the results that get him paid. And last week? I got paid.
(SOSA has a small smirk on his face as he leans forward, a brief pause before he goes on.)
SOSA Henderson: I told KASAI exactly what was going to happen before we even stepped into the ring. I told her she was emotional, fighting with a broken heart and a clouded mind, and that I was going to exploit that. And what happened? She proved me right. She fought hard, I’ll give her that. She threw everything that she had at me, and dare I say she almost got there. But here’s the thing about this business, “almost” doesn’t count. Simply fighting hard doesn’t get your name immortalized in the annals of history. KASAI wanted a wrestling match; she wanted to prove she could hang with a Grand Slam Champion. Me? I just wanted the W, and when the window opened, I didn’t hesitate. I didn’t pause to think about what the morality police were gonna say, I took the opening. Thumb to the eye, shoulders to the mat. One. Two. Three. That’s not cheating, nah, that’s veteran instinct. That’s the difference between a contender and a Champion. A Champion knows that history only remembers the victor, not how pretty the victory looked.
(SOSA scoffs after he says this, shaking his head as he continues.)
SOSA Henderson: But let’s get to what I really wanted to talk about. The match was over, the bell had rung, and my hand was raised. But KASAI, in all her emotional instability, couldn’t handle the reality of the situation. She couldn’t handle that she got outsmarted by a superior intellect. So she attacked me from behind. She tried to lay me out while my back was turned, and I know there are people out there cheering for that. They think it showed fire, passion, whatever, but the way I see it, I see someone getting all pissed off and throwing a fit because things didn’t go their way. You attacked a man who had already beaten you. You didn’t prove you were tough, KASAI. All you proved is that I own real estate in your head. You proved that I broke you mentally long before the match even started. And yeah, you got me, brother, my head is still ringing, my back is a little sore, but the fact of the matter is that I’m still standing. You ain’t kill SOSA Henderson yet, just like everyone else claimed they were gonna do, and most importantly, I’m still the one with the win in the column.
(SOSA pauses, clasping his hands together as he lightly chuckles at this.)
SOSA Henderson: And honestly? It’s cute. It really is. It’s almost endearing how much she cares. Maybe down the line, when she learns to control that temper, when she learns that emotion is a liability in the ring with a shark like me, we can do it again. I have a feeling that wasn’t the last time KASAI and SOSA Henderson are going to cross paths. The universe has a funny way of circling back around. But next time? You’d better not miss. Because if you come at the King, you’d better make sure he don’t get back up. Because now? You’ve given me a reason to end your career permanently next time. But that’s a conversation for another day. I’m not here to dwell on the past. I’m not here to cry over spilled milk. What I’m here to talk about is the future. I’m here to talk about Road To Redemption.
(SOSA stands up from where he’s seated, beginning to pace around a small space before continuing.)
SOSA Henderson: Let’s look at the facts: The card for Road To Redemption is filling up, the Extreme Elimination Chambers are set, the World Championship pictures are painted. And once again, you look at the marquee, and you don’t see SOSA Henderson in the main event. You don’t see the Grand Slam winner fighting for the top prize. Disrespectful? Yeah. Surprising? Not at all. This company has a habit of trying to bury its most dangerous assets because we don’t fit their corporate mold. They want the safe bets. They want the people who smile for the cameras and kiss the babies. They don’t want the man who will gouge an eye out to secure a paycheck. But that’s fine. I’m used to taking the scenic route. I’m used to having to kick the door down when they don’t give me a key. That’s why I walked into Tyrone’s office and demanded my spit in the Extreme Enigma Battle Royal. I looked at that match, and I started laughing. For real, I did. The fact of the matter is that you’ve got rookies hoping for a breakout moment, midcarders hoping to stay relevant, has-beens hoping for one last glory run, and then… you’ve got SOSA Henderson. You have a man who has held gold at every level. You put me into that Battle Royal, it’s not going to be a challenge for me, nah, it’s going to be a feast.
(SOSA pauses as he stops in his tracks, thinking to himself before going on.)
SOSA Henderson: And I know what people are going to say, they’re going to try and claim that this match is beneath SOSA Henderson. And that doesn’t matter to me. All SOSA Henderson gotta do is turn this shit into a masterclass. See, for everyone else in that match, it’s a gamble. It’s a roll of the dice. For me? It’s the most direct, efficient path back to where I belong. I don’t need to beg, plead, or any of that; all I have to do is throw anyone who stands in my way over the top rope. And let’s be real, who’s got the resume? Who’s got the killer instinct? Nobody. I look around the locker room, and I don’t see any peers; all I see are stepping stones. So to anyone who decided to sign up for this match, let’s get this out of the way right now that you ain’t walking into this for an opportunity, you’re walking into a slaughter. I’m not going to New Orleans to have fun, make friends, or have a little moment; I’m going to clear that ring. I’m going to remind the world that even when you try to shuffle me to the side, even when you try to keep me out of the spotlight… I still find a way to shine.
SOSA Henderson: And as for management? As for the people who thought they could leave me out of everything that Road To Redemption has to offer? You’re just delaying the inevitable. You’re just pushing the expiration date back a few weeks. Because when I win the Battle Royal… and I will win it… I become the undeniable number one contender. I become the problem you can’t ignore. I become the shadow looming over whoever walks into the new year with a title around their waist. So go ahead, enjoy your main events, enjoy everything that Road To Redemption has to offer, but keep one eye open. Because while you’re celebrating, SOSA Henderson is going to be climbing the ladder, rung by rung… body by body.
(SOSA steps toward the camera, a deadly serious look on his face.)
SOSA Henderson: KASAI found out the hard way that you don’t bet against me. She found out that feelings get you hurt, but ruthlessness gets you wins. The rest of the roster is about to learn the same lesson. Road To Redemption isn’t about redemption for me. I don’t have anything to stone for. I’m perfect just the way I am. Nah, Road To Redemption is about acquisition. It’s about taking what is mine, securing the bag. The Extreme Enigma Battle Royal is just a formality; the winner has already been decided, and the check has already been cashed. Just business. No bullshit.
(SOSA stares into the lens of the camera before then beginning to turn around and make his way out of the scene, having said all that he had to say. It’s the very least shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty, then begins to fade to elsewhere.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is a tag team match scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“Razorface” by Celldweller began blaring through the speakers to a loud mixed reaction as David Gideon Smith emerged from the darkness, surrounded by white strobes that follow the music. The Sovereign executes his Black Blade taunt, causing an eruption of pyrotechnics, before he clenches his fist and makes his way down the ramp towards the squared circle.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, weighing in at 250 pounds… he is THE SOVEREIGN, DAAAAAAAAVID! GIDEOOOOOOOOOOOOOON! SMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITH!
(Psycho by That’s Outrageous! began blaring through the speakers; Effy McAvoy could be seen from behind the ring barrier, hopping over it with an excited and almost manic pace as she sped her way to the ring, sliding underneath the ropes to get in and join her partner.)
Stephie Love: AND HIS PARTNER! Hailing from Watch Hill, Rhode Island, weighing in at 125 pounds… she is THE OMEN, EFFYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! MCAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY!
Stew-O: It’s quite the odd pairing here to kick off this tag team match! David Gideon Smith and Effy McAvoy, completely different in demeanor and history, are going to be teaming up against two individuals that share more hate than anyone else in this match!
Flannery McCoy: We know that in this match, David Gideon Smith is looking to make a statement at the expense of Methuselah, and before their singles match together this is the best opportunity to get that done!
Jake Mercer: And of course, Effy is going to be looking to get some momentum going with Drake King in the match for the Extreme Elimination Chamber! A team on one side that’s never worked together against a team that HAS worked together but with volatile results, it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out!
(‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage began blaring through the speakers to loud boos as Drake King made his way out with a smarmy smirk on his face as he spread his arms out wide on the center of the stage. He basked in his own greatness for a moment before making his way down the ramp towards the ring.)
Stephie Love: AND THEIR OPPONENTS, INTRODUCING NEXT! Hailing from Heaven’s Gate, weighing in at 220 pounds… he is THE MESSIAH, DRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE! KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!
( “Vent (Original Version)” by Baby Keem featuring Kendrick Lamar began blaring loudly through the speakers, causing the crowd to erupt with a tremendous mixed reaction, mostly leaning on boos. Methuselah emerged from the billowing smoke, with an eerie grin on his face as he began marching down the ramp towards the squared circle with an intense gaze in his eyes.)
Stephie Love: AND HIS PARTNER! Hailing from The Mount Adams Observatory™, weighing in at 17 stone, he is THE OVERMAN… MEEEEETHUUUUUUUUUSELAAAAAAAH! EEEEEEEEEEEELEEEEEEEEEEVAAAAAAATIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
Stew-O: And here comes the second half of the match which, well, there’s barely anything that needs to be said about the pretty much eternal tension that these two elitists have with each other.
Flannery McCoy: The Chairman of EAW and his most bitter rival, Methuselah and Drake King, are a team we’ve seen quite a few times before but their mutual hatred has gotten in the way as we saw at War Games. Tonight, though, the focus for both of these men is on their opponents, and that may save them!
Jake Mercer: Methuselah is dead set on stomping David Gideon Smith into the ground, while Drake King is looking to make yet another statement en route to the Extreme Elimination Chamber just like he did last week with his interference! Whatever happens, only one team can take the victory home tonight!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! Drake King is starting the match off for his team, with Methuselah looming ominously from the corner, while Effy McAvoy decides to take the lead with her more direct rival across the ring and David Gideon Smith watching from the corner as he eyes both of his opponents but with greater focus on the Chairman!
Flannery McCoy: Drake King and Effy McAvoy, both entrants in the Extreme Elimination Chamber, begin circling around the ring as they eye each other; if I’m being honest, with these two there’s no telling what’s going to happen. BOTH of them are crazy in their own way!
Jake Mercer: :adpeek: That’s what makes it entertaining, Flannery!
Stew-O: Drake King is at least more level headed INSIDE the ring, and with the weight advantage he has against an elitist like Effy, he’s better suited to try and grapple her to overpower her; Effy is no slouch, though, and I’m sure she’s going to have that in mind as she goes up against someone that’s just about a hundred pounds heavier than she is!
Flannery McCoy: Drake King goes in for a lock up, but Effy quickly side steps it and gets in a hard kick right against the side of Drake’s right knee! That’s a well placed shot right there, looking to debilitate a man that is as quick on his feet – tactically and physically – as the Messiah!
Jake Mercer: Looks like a game of cat and mouse here as Drake King is trying to catch Effy, but as quick as Drake is, Effy is even more agile! She’s going to have to be, she would have difficulty being able to hoist Drake King up for one of her typical grappling moves!
Stew-O: Drake King looks to be getting frustrated, and over on the corner it looks like Methuselah is… oddly enough, enjoying seeing his partner getting hit and frustrated like this. I guess with their history and Methuselah’s well-known sadism, that shouldn’t be that surprising.
Flannery McCoy: Effy McAvoy is able to hit with another kick right to the midsection, and immediately follows it up with a right hook to the side of the face and now she’s going for a knee smash right to the jaw of the Messia-
Jake Mercer: But Drake King had that combination scouted, he just caught her knee before it was able to strike him! And all of the frustration he’s feeling at this point in the match looks to be about to blow up as he yanks her in and spins right around her, reaching back and SLAMMING her down with a perfectly executed slingblade!
Stew-O: And the Messiah staggers up, rubbing at his jaw after the shots he’s taken so far, but we know it takes a lot more than that to be able to keep Drake King down, no matter what you think of his attitude or ego!
Flannery McCoy: He peppers the downed Effy with some stomps before dragging her up with a fistful of her hair and hitting her with a knee smash to the midsection that forces her to double over in pain!
Jake Mercer: And he uses that position to hoist her up onto his shoulders, perhaps looking for a powerbomb on her! But… he’s not dropping her, he’s turning around! What’s he planning here?!
Stew-O: He’s turned towards one of the vacant corners… OH! HE’S RUSHING FORWARD, TAKING AIM AT THE CORNER… BUCKLE BOMB! Drake King just sent Effy McAvoy flying and crashing right into that corner with a vicious buckle bomb, and you can see from the expression on Effy’s face just how much that impact hurt!
Flannery McCoy: But Drake King, merciless as he is, doesn’t give Effy McAvoy even a single moment of respite! He immediately rushes forward and follows up on the attack with a corner lariat, dazing Effy McAvoy even further than she already was before! It’s a massacre right now with Drake King hitting her with a combo of his own, going from a forearm to a spinning back elbow before spinning right back around and connecting with an enziguiri to really shake Effy up!
Jake Mercer: She’s not looking in good shape right now, and with what Drake is planning here, I think it’s about to go from bad to worse! He’s keeping her in the corner and hoisting her up onto the top turnbuckle, looking to go up high with his offense here!
Stew-O: He climbs up alongside her and throws her arm over his head, and I think we may have an idea of what he’s going for here! He’s done this before, he’s looking for a superplex off the top rope–
Flannery McCoy: But I think Effy sensed the danger, because she’s wriggling as hard as she can to destabilize Drake King and free herself from the threat of the maneuver! She’s able to do so and actually manages to slip down to the canvas from between Drake King and the turnbuckles, leaving Drake up there!
Jake Mercer: It turns out this may have been to her advantage as she reaches up and grabs Drake King by both of his legs and– POWERBOMB! SHE DROPS HIM RIGHT OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE ONTO THE CANVAS WITH A POWERBOMB, USING DRAKE’S POSITIONING TO OVERCOME THE WEIGHT ADVANTAGE!
Stew-O: She’s still looking in bad shape from that buckle bomb, but she’s not wanting this burst of momentum to go to waste as she climbs onto the middle rope from the corner right behind her, looking down at Drake King as he writhes in pain after taking that powerbomb, and she leaps up into the air–
Flannery McCoy: A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP! EFFY MCAVOY HITS HER SIGNATURE DOUBLE FOOT STOMP OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE ON DRAKE KING, AND SHE LEANS BACK ON HIM FOR THE COVER! THE REFEREE SLIDES IN FOR THE PINFALL WITH BOTH PARTNERS LOOKING ON!
ONEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOO-
Jake Mercer: BUT DRAKE KING KICKED OUT OF IT! Effy McAvoy looks up and sees David Gideon Smith beckoning, and she crawls over, reaching out her hand looking to tag the Sovereign into the match… and–
TAG!
Stew-O: And with that the Sovereign does get tagged into the match as Drake King grabs a hold of the ropes to leverage himself back up to a standing position, and David Gideon Smith smells blood as he immediately rushes into the fray and heads straight for the Messiah who manages to get back to a standing position!
Flannery McCoy: Going up against a fresh David Gideon Smith right after you take someone else’s signature move is definitely NOT a good position to be in, but that’s where Drake King finds himself at, and he IMMEDIATELY gets hit with a tremendous shoulder block that sends him flying right back into the corner where he launched Effy McAvoy into with that dreaded buckle bomb!
Jake Mercer: And David Gideon Smith immediately follows it up with a running European uppercut to his cornered opponent! Drake King is feeling the pressure now as David Gideon Smith grabs a hold of both sides of the top rope and starts laying into the Messiah with vicious stomps to the midsection, and the referee intervenes due to David holding the ropes!
Stew-O: The damage was done, though, as Drake falls to a seated position against the bottom turnbuckle, and that leaves Drake vulnerable as David takes a few steps back before rushing right back towards him and– WOAH! RUNNING CANNONBALL SENTON TO THE SEATED DRAKE KING COMPLETELY ROCKS HIM! With an elitist as large as David Gideon Smith crashing into you like that, you’re bound to feel it!
Flannery McCoy: Drake King is going through it right now as David drags him away from the corner just to leap up into the air and come crashing down with a jumping KNEE DROP– WAIT, BUT DRAKE KING MANAGED TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY! AND A KICK FROM THE GROUNDED POSITION CATCHES THE SIDE OF DAVID’S HEAD, TEMPORARILY STUNNING HIM!
Jake Mercer: Though it probably kills Drake to acknowledge it, this is a tag team match at the end of the day and we see him crawling towards Methuselah looking to get his partner, the freshest member of the match, into the fray! David is able to shake off the pain of that kick and starts making his way towards Drake before seeing what he’s doing!
David Gideon Smith: ……
Stew-O: That’s one hell of a menacing smile from David Gideon Smith as he sees Drake going towards Methuselah to tag him in! David just spreads his arms out wide, beckoning Methuselah to enter the ring against him! Not an ounce of fear in the Sovereign at all!
TAG!
Flannery McCoy: Right on cue, Methuselah Elevation gets tagged into the match and steps into the ring, staring down with David Gideon Smith! Two of the tallest and most fearsome men in EAW, not too long away from their singles match, enter the ring against each other, and you can feel the tension in the air!
Jake Mercer: With David Gideon Smith beckoning Methuselah into his OWN ring, you’ve got to know that Methuselah must be feeling some sort of disrespect from the Sovereign; he already called that nickname into question, and now David is practically claiming the ring of Methuselah’s own company, inviting Methuselah into his own realm!
Stew-O: No surprise, then, that Methuselah bursts forward and leaps up, connecting with a jumping forearm smash to the head of David Gideon Smith, hitting the same spot that Drake King landed that kick against! That doesn’t knock David down, but it does cause him to stagger back and prompts Methuselah to rush forward and connect with yet another jumping forearm smash!
Flannery McCoy: That sequence doesn’t go on for too long, though, as Methuselah then hits David with a kick to the midsection to double him over before Methuselah goes ahead and double underhooks the arms! Classic Methuselah here as he’s going for the METH FX–
Jake Mercer: But David Gideon Smith is a student of the game, he has that move scouted MILES away as he manages to unhook and spins himself out of the move before it can even happen, countering with a shotei throat thrust that leaves Methuselah coughing and sputtering as he staggers back!
Stew-O: David rushes forward for another shoulder block, but Methuselah is able to side step it, causing David to fall right onto his midsection! That tumble doesn’t keep him down for long as he scrambles up as quickly as he can, but he’s met with Methuselah as the Chairman spins him around to face him before connecting with a BLACK MASS! DAVID STARTS TO FALL OVER, BUT METHUSELAH ISN’T DONE, HE STEPS FORWARD AND CONNECTS WITH A HUGE UCONN LARIAT!
Flannery McCoy: Now THAT was enough to knock David Gideon Smith down, and Methuselah follows it up immediately by dropping an elbow on the Sovereign before hooking the leg, not thinking enough of David to even go for a bigger move!
ONEEEEEEEE!
Jake Mercer: DAVID KICKS OUT EMPHATICALLY AT THE COUNT OF ONE, AND HE EVEN MANAGES TO TRANSITION THROUGH THE KICK OUT TO A GUILLOTINE CHOKEHOLD! METHUSELAH DIDN’T SEE IT COMING AS DAVID GIDEON SMITH FEROCIOUSLY LOOKS TO CHOKE THE LIFE OUT OF HIM!
Stew-O: METHUSELAH IS FIGHTING IT AS HE MANAGES TO GET TO HIS FEET, ESCAPING THE GROUNDED PORTION OF THE CHOKE BUT REMAINS TRAPPED AS HE REACHES BACK WITH ONE OF HIS FEET… AND GETS THE ROPE! ROPE BREAK!
Flannery McCoy: David Gideon Smith is forced to release the chokehold, but not until the referee counts to four! Methuselah may have suffered even worse from that as a result of that Shotei throat thrust from before!
Jake Mercer: David Gideon Smith is showing NO restraint at all, though, as he immediately grabs a fistful of Methuselah’s hair and yanks him back to the center of the ring before– ANOTHER CHOKEHOLD! THE D’ARCE CHOKEHOLD IS APPLIED AS HE’S LOOKING TO REALLY JUST KNOCK METHUSELAH OUT RIGHT HERE AND NOW! HE–
Stew-O: WHAT THE HELL?! LOW BLOW FROM METHUSELAH! A BLATANT LOW BLOW! THE REFEREE IS SHOCKED BY JUST HOW ABRUPT AND FLAGRANT IT WAS! THE CHOKEHOLD GETS RELEASED, AND THE REFEREE BLINKS BEFORE TURNING TO ISSUE THE DISQUALIFICATION–
Methuselah: I assume you like your job, don’t you?
Referee: H-huh?!
Methuselah: I don’t think you should issue that disqualification. I think this match should continue normally. I think referees that like their jobs would follow that advice.
Flannery McCoy: The referee is looking conflicted, but with Methuselah issuing that thinly veiled threat, what else can he do?! He doesn’t call the disqualification, and Methuselah hits ANOTHER low blow before hooking David’s legs! Drake and Effy both look disgusted, probably with different motivations, but the referee goes down for the count!
ONEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR WINNERS… THE TEAM OF DRAKE KING AND METHUSELAH!
( “Vent (Original Version)” by Baby Keem featuring Kendrick Lamar began blaring loudly through the speakers yet again to huge boos as Methuselah sneers, getting up from the pinfall and looks down at David Gideon Smith.)
Stew-O: Clearly the outcome of the match is one that only Methuselah is happy with; even his partner is unhappy, although Drake King is generally unhappy with how Methuselah operates in general. Effy McAvoy hops off the corner, slapping the apron in frustration as she watches Methuselah make the referee raise his arm up!
Flannery McCoy: Drake King walks off as well, abandoning his partner and not bothering with the victory celebration; Methuselah is happy enough with that, though, rubbing it in entirely to the chagrin of the crowd above all else!
Jake Mercer: David Gideon Smith is starting to stagger up, still doubled over in pain, but Methuselah is living it up as he climbs up to the top turnbuckle and continues flaunting the victory! He’s– WOAH!
Stew-O: DAVID HAS RISEN, AND HE IS NOT HAPPY! HE IMMEDIATELY MAKES A BEELINE FOR THE CORNER AND YANKS METHUSELAH OFF OF IT AND ONTO HIS SHOULDERS IN AN ELECTRIC CHAIR POSITION!
Flannery McCoy: ARCHDRAGON’S WRATH! METHUSELAH GETS HIT WITH THAT ELECTRIC CHAIR DROP INTO THE HIGH ANGLE DRAGON SUPLEX, COMPLETELY DESTROYING HIS CELEBRATION WITH ONE OF HIS HIGHER LEVEL FINISHING MANEUVERS, THE SAME ONE HE NEARLY HIT RAVEN ROBERTS WITH BUT CONNECTING WITH IT THIS TIME!
Jake Mercer: METHUSELAH IS ON THE CANVAS, AND DAVID GIDEON SMITH IS BEATING THE HELL OUT OF HIM, STOMPING HIM OUT LIKE CRAZY! ARCHDRAGON’S WRATH IS AN APT NAME BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT WE’RE SEEING RIGHT NOW!
Stew-O: METHUSELAH GETS FORCED BACK TO HIS FEET JUST TO GET HIT WITH THE BLACK BLADE! DAVID HAS COMPLETELY LAID THE CHAIRMAN OF EAW OUT AFTER HIS ACTIONS IN THE MATCH! WHAT A SIGHT, DAVID LOOKING DOWN AT THE FALLEN CHAIRMAN! IS THIS WHAT WE’LL SEE WHEN THEY CLASH ONE ON ONE?!
(The video feed lingers as David Gideon Smith glowers down at his future opponent before the feed slowly fades to black.)
(A commmercial plays for the NBA.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns as a panaround shot is shown of the Kaseya Center, with the crowd murmuring in anticipation for what is to come. And it’s not long before ‘Just A Phase’ by Incubus begins to play through the speakers of the arena. The crowd erupts into a loud mixed reaction of cheers and boos, as the camera goes over to the stage to show Milli Banks as she’s seen making her way out from the backstage area. She has a serious expression on her face as she looks directly at the ring, taking a brief moment to compose herself before then beginning to make her way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… MILLI BANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Last week was certainly a busy Dynasty for the former Universal Women’s Champion. After getting into it with Holly Arrow during Holly’s match against Drake King and subsequently costing her, Holly would return the favor and attack her during her match against Limmy Monaghan later in the night. It’s certainly heating up when it comes to the Universal Women’s Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber, but if there’s one thing that Milli Banks has been successful in doing, it’s showing that she’s not here to make friends.
Flannery McCoy: With her awaiting Holly Arrow, Raven Roberts, and everyone else from Showdown and Voltage joining her inside the Chamber, it’s clear that she’s going to have to be completely focused if she wants the opportunity to call herself a two-time Universal Women’s Champion. And I’m sure that she’s going to stop at nothing to make sure that happens.
Jake Mercer: I think she’s my pick to win it all! And can you really blame me?! Just look at that face, she looks like she’s out to kill. That’s one mean woman.
(Milli makes her way up the steps and onto the apron before entering through the ropes and into the ring. She makes her way over and takes a microphone from the ringside area while ‘Just A Phase’ begins to come to a close. Milli makes her way toward the center of the ring, taking a brief moment before then raising her microphone as she begins to speak.)
Milli Banks: People keep telling me that Road To Redemption is paved with good intentions. But looking at this ring? After seeing what happened last week? It looks a hell of a lot more like it’s paved with bad blood. My match against Limmy Monaghan was supposed to be a test. A test against a former World Heavyweight Champion, a man I respect, who knew what it took to reach the summit. It was supposed to be iron sharpening iron. Instead? It turned into chaos. And I think we all know exactly who to thank for that. So let’s talk about Holly Arrow.
(There’s a small cheer as The Lodestar’s name is mentioned, Milli shaking her head as she paces the ring back and forth.)
Milli Banks: I get it, Holly, I really do. You’ve had a rough year. You feel the walls are closing in, like the world is moving on without you. You see me walk down the ramp during your match with Drake King, not to interfere… but to observe… and you crack. You lose focus, you lose the match, and because you couldn’t handle your business against Drake, you decided that I shouldn’t be able to handle mine against Limmy? You don’t get to decide that.
(Milli pauses, letting her words sink in, before going on.)
Milli Banks: Again, I get it, you’re desperate to feel in control of something. But here’s the hard truth that you are refusing to swallow, Holly: You’re not fighting me, you’re fighting yourself. You’re fighting the fact that you feel like a ghost in your career. But I am not a ghost, I am flesh and blood, I am Milli Banks, and I am the woman who is going to walk into the Extreme Elimination Chamber and take the one thing that you feel can save you… And that’s the Universal Women’s Championship. The difference between you and me right now is that you’re fighting for survival, and I’m fighting for supremacy. I didn’t back down from you, I didn’t flinch. Even when you ruined my match, I looked you in the eyes, and I wasn’t afraid. And in New Orleans? Inside that Chamber? There will be nothing to save you, nothing to stop me. There will just be steel, chain link, and the harsh reality that only one of us is leaving with the gold.
(Milli turns, taking a good look at the hard camera with a glare.)
Milli Banks: I have spent the last five months rebuilding myself brick by brick. I have turned my self-doubt into armor. I have turned my fear into fuel. And at Road To Redemption, I’m not just looking to survive the Chamber. I’m looking to remind Ms. Extreme, Raven Roberts, you, and the entire world… that the Milli Banks era isn’t a memory, it’s the future. And that future starts when I walk out of New Orleans as a two-time Universal Women’s Champion.
(The crowd inside the arena reacts loudly to this, but before Milli can continue with what she has to say, ‘Seccharine’ by Violent Vira begins to blare through the speakers of the arena. The crowd erupts as the camera goes over to show Holly Arrow as she’s seen storming out from the backstage area and toward the stage. She has a serious look on her face, staring a hole into Milli Banks inside the ring as she begins to make her way down the ramp.)
Stew-O: It was only a matter of time before Holly Arrow made her presence felt, and she certainly was not going to take that disrespect by Milli Banks, no matter how much “respect” the two have for each other, even if that “respect” has been lost these past couple of weeks as tensions have risen.
Flannery McCoy: Holly may still be trying to figure out what she needs to keep her career going, but she knows that the Extreme Elimination Chamber is going to get her closer to that and potentially becoming a singles Champion for the first time in her career. And if she’s going to have to do that, then she’s going to have to make sure to get past Milli Banks.
Jake Mercer: Which is not an easy task, no doubt, but I am certain that she is going to try. I guess we’re going to have to see what ends up happening.
(Holly makes her way up the steps and onto the apron as she enters through the ropes and into the ring. She makes her way over and takes her own microphone as ‘Seccharine’ begins to come to a close, she turns around and approaches Milli, not wasting time as she begins to speak.)
Holly Arrow: You’re right.
(The crowd murmurs, quieting down as they listen to this back and forth. Milli continues to maintain a serious expression as Holly goes on.)
Holly Arrow: You’re right, Milli, I am fighting myself. I’m fighting the voice in my head that tells me I’ve already peaked, fighting the memory of every single time I’ve choked, every time I’ve tapped, every time I’ve let a moment slip through my fingers throughout my career. Maybe I am a ghost. Maybe I’m haunting this ring because I have unfinished business that refuses to let me rest. But the problem is that you’re mistaking my desperation for weakness, don’t do that. It must be nice, Milli, really, it must be nice to be you, The Supernova, burning bright and knowing exactly who you are. Me? I’m terrified.
Holly Arrow: I’m terrified that this is it. I’m terrified that I’ve spent five years chasing a feeling I might never catch. I don’t want to be an industry titan. I don’t care about being a legend or having an era named after me… I just want to feel happy again. I just want to look in the mirror and not see a failure. And if that means I have to drag you and everyone else in that Chamber down in the mud with me just to survive? Then that is exactly what I’m going to do.
(In response to this, Milli can only raise an eyebrow, unimpressed as she responds.)
Milli Banks: Can I ask you something, Holly? Do you think that the Universal Women’s Champion can solve the burning questions in your mind? You think holding gold is going to magically fix everything that’s broken inside of you? You’re looking for validation in a title, but all you’re going to find in that Chamber is pain. You know what, though? You should be terrified, that’s exactly what I expected out of you. And do you know why that’s the case? Because “trying” doesn’t cut it anymore. “Wanting it” isn’t enough.
Holly Arrow: I know “wanting it” isn’t enough! I know that better than anyone! That’s why I didn’t just sit back last week. That’s why I came out here and took you out! Because for once in my life, I stopped worrying about being the better person and started worrying about being the last one standing. I am not a world beater like you, Milli. I don’t have your ego, I don’t have your confidence, but I have a desperation that you can’t even comprehend. Supremacy is what you’re fighting for? Cool. Good for you. I’m fighting for my life. I’m fighting so that all the years of pain actually mean something. So if I’m a ghost to you, that’s completely fine, because at Road To Redemption, I’m going to show you that you can’t kill something already dead inside.
(The crowd inside the arena erupts at Holly’s stand against Milli Banks, and as the former Women’s Champion processes what’s being said, she can’t help but scoff. But before she can respond, ‘Ghost Myself’ by DIAMANTE begins to play through the speakers. The crowd erupts as the camera goes over to show Raven Roberts, as one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, beginning to make her way out. She has an amused expression on her face as she looks at both of her future opponents inside the ring, before then beginning to make her way down the ramp.)
Stew-O: Even though Raven Roberts is preparing along with Rex McAllister to defend their Unified Tag Team Championships at Voltage’s F*ck Your Thanksgiving, she knows that it’s her responsibility to not only focus on that but also her pending participation in the Universal Women’s Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber. And while Milli and Holly have had their issues, Raven seems to have been watching.
Flannery McCoy: Being a bystander in their issues, and perhaps she thinks if she doesn’t get herself involved, then she can focus on what matters, and that is the Universal Women’s Championship. I don’t know. What matters is that she makes her way to the ring right now, and it seems like she has her thoughts on the matter at hand. I guess we’re just going to have to see what comes of it.
Jake Mercer: It’s certainly going to be interesting to see how she gets herself involved. She certainly doesn’t seem like the instigator type, but who knows!
(Raven makes her way up the steps and onto the apron as she enters through the ropes and into the ring, making her way over and taking a microphone from the ringside area. ‘Ghost Myself’ then begins to come to a close as she turns around and eyes Milli and Holly, taking a brief moment before then beginning to speak.)
Raven Roberts: Just like last week, as you two went back and forth, whether that be verbally or physically, I watched from backstage. Some really touching narratives here, talking about supremacy, survival, ego, desperation, really good buzz words, but I think it’s about time I break the ice and give a reality check that neither of you seems willing to acknowledge.
(Raven shifts her attention toward Holly, calmly continuing.)
Raven Roberts: The last time that I held the Universal Women’s Championship, the landscape was different, obviously, things are drastically different from how they were before, but the same could be applied to you, Milli. But that doesn’t seem to be something that you acknowledge, no, you think becoming a two-time Champion is a crown that belongs to you by birthright. But it’s not you reclaiming a throne at Road To Redemption; in actuality, what I believe this comes down to is you walking into a Chamber against women who have evolved past you. And as much as you try to get Holly to accept this “reality” that you have for her, that seems to be just as much the case for you as well.
(Milli scoffs as she steps forward aggressively, but before she can say anything, Raven shifts her attention toward Holly.)
Raven Roberts: And you, Holly, just as Milli said, I respect what you had to say. But what I fail to see is how any of what you said makes you dangerous? Because you have nothing to lose, that suddenly makes you a threat? Let’s get this out of the way right now: everyone in that Chamber has something to lose. The difference is that when the pressure mounts… You crack. You just admitted it yourself, you’re terrified. You’re looking for happiness in a bloodsport. That isn’t bravery, that’s a liability. Dragging us, specifically me, into the mud is not foreign. I don’t need to be happy to push you out of my way. I don’t need to feel fulfilled to make sure that you are not a threat to me and my Women’s Championship chase. I just need to be efficient.
Milli Banks: Efficient? You want to talk about efficiency, Raven? You’ve been hiding in tag team matches for the better part of a year. You’ve got Rex McAllister watching your back every single week, but there’s no tag rope in that Chamber. There’s going to be nobody to save you when things get too hot. You want to talk about evolving? I’ve been in the trenches alone, and yes, you’ve been comfortable. And we both know what happens to people who get comfortable in this business… They get replaced.
Holly Arrow: I don’t care!
(Both Milli and Raven stop what they’re saying as they turn over to Holly.)
Holly Arrow: I don’t care about any of what you’re saying. You both stand here talking down to me like I’m some charity case, like I’m just lucky to be in the ring as you. But keep underestimating me, please. Keep looking at me like I’m just a broken girl, because while you two are busy measuring your egos against each other, I’m going to be the one willing to do whatever it takes to end this nightmare. You can interpret it however you want, but it’s one thing and one thing only, and that’s a warning.
(Raven eyes Holly, looking quite unbothered as she raises her microphone.)
Raven Roberts: A warning. Cute.
(Raven takes a step back, creating distance between herself and the other two.)
Raven Roberts: You two can stay out here and scream until your throats are dry. You can have your little staredowns, you can even beat your chests. But unlike both of you, I don’t need to voncince the world, I’m dangerous. I have the gold to prove it. And in New Orleans? I’m going to add a matching set.
(Raven glances back at Holly.)
Raven Roberts: I’d wish you luck in your match against Limmy, Holly… but frankly, I think you’re going to need a miracle, not luck.
(Raven drops her microphone down to the ground as she turns around and begins to make her way out of the ring. Milli watches her go, shaking her head with a sneer, before turning her attention back toward Holly. The two women lock eyes again, but Milli is also the one to break away, exiting the ring but not leaving the ringside area. She grabs a chair and sets it up near the commentary table, crossing her legs and staring directly at Holly inside the ring. Holly glares back, breathing heavily, trying to shift her focus away from the situation while Friday Night Dynasty fades away to a brief commercial break.)
(A commercial plays for Stranger Things, featuring Drake King.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns as Holly Arrow is seen preparing inside of the ring, Stephie Love seen standing by as she begins to speak.)
Stephie Love: The following main event contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Stephie Love: Already in the ring! From Liverpool, England, weighing in at 149 pounds… ‘THE LODESTAR’, HOLLYYYYYYYY ARROW!!!
Stew-O: Shifting away from what we just witnessed, Holly Arrow will face off against a competitor she has not frequented, as a momentum boost can be crucial following the hardships she has faced so far. However, she is focused on the match at hand nonetheless, as Limmy will be looking to garner momentum as well.
Flannery McCoy: While that much is absolutely true, Holly Arrow has proven time & time again that she can compete at a high level, but Limmy is truly a different competitor. Holly can continue to mount all the momentum she needs herself against an elitist of Limmy’s caliber!
(‘Number One’ by Shirō Sagisu & Hazel Fernandez can be heard throughout the speakers as the audience responds loudly for the arrival of Limmy Monaghan. The former World Champion looks ahead to the ring, focused on his match tonight as he proceeds to step himself down the ramp, prepared for his outing with Holly Arrow.)
Stephie Love: And introducing his opponent! Residing from Golden Beach, Florida, weighing in at 227 pounds… ‘THE ACE’, LIMMYYYYYYYYYY MONAGHAN!!!
Stew-O: Limmy Monaghan will be looking to bolster greater momentum toward the Extreme Elimination Chamber, & bring much of that into a victory to be reached, as he has been embroiled in more than enough chaos lately with its participants.
Jake Mercer: With that all being said, we know that this will be an important match for Holly Arrow herself to garner victory for as well, but also an important match for Limmy’s own momentum, as he looks to make some good happen from here!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! Kirk, Effy & Milli ringside for our main event! We are here with a colossal match on hand tonight as world class elitists collide in the form of Holly Arrow & Limmy Monaghan! These are two tremendous professional wrestlers who are looking to make the most out of the opportunities that are presenting themselves tonight through this match in particular! They begin by circling around the canvas, properly assessing one another from a viewpoint specifically attributed to each of them as high level elitists who are looking to garner the most sizable victory for their own momentum to continue moving forward as well!
Flannery McCoy: As they motion forward with a collar and elbow tie-up to begin this match! The referee is keeping a keen eye on the beginning of this match as Limmy is very much ushering in the strength advantage in this match, able to slowly and steadily push Holly back & into the ropes, as the referee now begins to count down on Limmy while he is keeping his opponent suppressed against the ropes. Before the five count, Limmy decides to steadily back away, as Holly raises her own hands upward and they then begin to motion back toward the ring! They each begin to step forward once again for another go at the tie-up!
Jake Mercer: But Holly immediately gets her arms around the head of Limmy for a sufficient headlock! Holly is trying to sink all of her weight downward as she’s using much of her strength here, refusing to allow for another tie-up to alter momentum as this headlock remains strong while Limmy is now left in this position here! Monaghan knows that he cannot let Holly motion for too much momentum to be gained on her own end and this match can turn sour just as quickly as it begins! Limmy is refusing to let this keep him down for long, as he’s not looking to wait too long to make the most out of this while hoisting her upward AS HE LOOKS TO—
Stew-O: BUT HOLLY SINKS HER WEIGHT DOWN & DOESN’T LET LIMMY COMMIT TO A THING! She continuously shakes her head as she shifts into a guillotine choke! Holly is looking to apply a more strengthened crank to her choke to ensure that there is not a possible way for Limmy to free himself, but it is still quite early in this match as Monaghan is now rising up to his feet! Holly is keeping the choke strong but Limmy doesn’t waste another second to drag Holly toward the ropes, and uses the extra momentum of the ropes to shove himself away to free himself from the choke! Holly is backed into the ropes as she is now rebounding toward him!
Flannery McCoy: SHOOT KICK FROM HOLLY AS SHE REBOUNDS FORWARD! Landing flush into Limmy as he finds himself staggering back and against the ropes, clutching onto the middle rope with a hand as he now has a palm coiled around his own jaw! Holly is taking notice of this, nodding to herself as he sees that Limmy will have to try and recover more effectively here if he wants to find himself back in this match! Arrow is now looking to take advantage while she can, as she understands how Limmy is left in a vulnerable position before looking for a CLOTHESLINE OVER THE TOP ROPE!
Jake Mercer: LIMMY CATCHES THE ARM WITH A KNEE—AND DOESN’T SHY AWAY WITH PULLING HOLLY RIGHT INTO A GOURDBUSTER OVER THE TOP ROPE! Holly holds onto the top rope to keep herself from collapsing down to the ringside floor, but this can go terribly for Holly Arrow if she doesn’t try and get herself out of this spot as she’s clutching onto her own midsection with an arm! Holly is vulnerable for the moment as Limmy is able to create this space between themselves while looking to maintain focus! The former Universal Women’s Champion is trying to shake off the gourdbuster while Limmy is given ample time to recover, as he looks for ANOTHER KNEE!
Stew-O: HOLLY MOVES AWAY— WITH A BACK ELBOW TO STAGGER HIM!! Limmy can’t make much setback happen in the form of control as Holly is more than capable of returning the fire, as she finds herself in a much more advantageous spot here now that Limmy himself is staggered! Holly now sees that there is all of the room for herself to make her own control happen here, as she’s bringing herself up to the bottom rope, seeing that she needs to act quickly from here while Limmy is staggered within the ring, hooking him closely, LOOKING TO SUPLEX LIMMY OUT OF THE RING—
Flannery McCoy: LIMMY CAUGHT HER WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT—AND HOLLY STAGGERS BACK ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR!!! Holly Arrow is left in the struggle as she is immediately writhing in pain with her own back taking the brunt of the fall there as well! Holly is shaking her own head repeatedly as Limmy Monaghan has just garnered such a sizable advantage in this match from that precise spot there! With Holly left leaning against the barricade, all of the pain within her back as she’s remaining stood over the apron, Limmy sees what he’s gonna have to take advantage of!
Jake Mercer: As he’s now stepping himself over, steadily propping himself right over the apron as he’s looking to make the absolute most out of what needs to be done from here! Holly is still staggered, and Limmy is not wasting another moment to make sure this ends up going terribly! Monaghan pulls Holly over & with a swift movement he’s—HE’S DELIVERING A SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX AGAINST THE BARRICADE!!! HOLLY IS DOWN HERE!!! The suplex connects with immense force as she’s absolutely feeling all of that right there, this isn’t good!
Stew-O: As everyone at ringside is looking on as well! An immense dragon suplex from the former World Heavyweight Champion!!!! Limmy Monaghan just sent Holly crashing right onto the back of her own neck against the barricade! He takes hold of Holly, pushing her back into the ring as he’s looking to hook the leg with urgency to his movements!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
T—
Flannery McCoy: NO! HOLLY IS ABLE TO KICK OUT AND STAY IN THIS MATCH!! Limmy has to be feeling the urgency begin to kick in as this match is continuing to prove itself as a struggle for each of them! Monaghan is motioning upward to a knee, nodding to himself as he knows that Holly is left in a highly vulnerable state the longer that this match will continue to go! The damage she has already sustained can be a true testament to what she will have to endure through should this match continue further!
Jake Mercer: As he’s continuing to apply all of the pressure that he wants to in this moment, sending repeated forearms across her skull as he doesn’t want Holly to start mounting any momentum to continue in this match while he still able to maintain much of the pressure that he can! Limmy is now dragging Holly upward, and he’s looking to nail Arrow with much of the offense you can expect, as he’s DEADLIFTING HOLLY UPWARD FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX FROM HERE—
Stew-O: BUT AN ELBOW FROM HOLLY ARROW! AND ANOTHER! Limmy is forced to let go as he’s clutching onto his own temple afterward, shaking his head as this can turn very poorly for him if he doesn’t continue to remain aggressive when targeting Holly from here! Limmy rushes forward as he doesn’t want to hold himself back here—BUT A RUNNING LARIAT FROM HOLLY ARROW IS ABLE TO PUT LIMMY DOWN!! Holly placed all of her own weight into that lariat to make sure that Limmy would be going down!
Flannery McCoy: And look at Limmy! He’s absolutely dazed after that lariat as Holly now has her own opportunity that she can absolutely make the most out of from here! Monaghan is looking to bring himself back up as this has not been panning out all too graciously for him right now, with Holly having her own eyes set back onto him as she’s now pulling Limmy right over, and she’s able to put Limmy back down WITH A SINGLE LEG BACKSTABBER! Limmy is down as Holly is now rushing herself to the cover as the referee is counting away!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
T—
Jake Mercer: NOT ENOUGH! Limmy is able to kick out as now Holly will have to focus much more in order to put an end to this match & get this win! Holly is keeping herself ready while looking down to Limmy, not interested in holding herself back from doing what she has to here as she’s shifting Limmy directly into an ARM TRIANGLE CHOKE! Holly is keeping a strong choke applied here as Limmy is now boosting his lower body upward as he doesn’t want the pressure to rush to his head or else he’s a goner! He has to find a way out of this!
Stew-O: But Holly is refusing to let this choke go! Limmy is trying to do everything that he can to keep himself mobile as he’s now motioning himself a bit more closely toward the ropes, but Arrow’s constriction is being applied even further in this moment as Limmy has been providing enough pushback to keep himself in this match—TILL LIMMY DECIDES TO SHIFT HIS WEIGHT UP & INTO HOLLY AS HER SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!!! The referee begins counting away as Holly is squirming to get herself out of this situation!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THR—
Flannery McCoy: HOLLY PUSHES LIMMY AWAY TO KICK OUT!! Holly is wide eyed as she’s now quickly trying to bring herself upward, shaking her head vigorously as she doesn’t want to slow down—BUT LIMMY WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP THAT STOPS HOLLY ARROW RIGHT IN HER TRACKS! This isn’t good for Holly at all! Limmy is looking to uphold all of the momentum that he had in this match as he’s now rushing toward the ropes, and returning right back at Holly as he looks for AN ELBOW—
Jake Mercer: BUT HOLLY RETORTS WITH A PALM STRIKE RIGHT OVER LIMMY’S THROAT!! Limmy can’t commit to raising the arm as he’s now coughing up from the palm strike, remaining in this dormant state in this situation as Holly sees her own opportunity forming and taking place right before her eyes! Holly is now ready to send Limmy into the biggest struggle yet, as she’s rushing past him & rebounding from the ropes looking for ANOTHER LARIAT TO PUT LIMMY’S LIGHTS OUT!
Stew-O: THE PELE KICK FROM LIMMY CATCHES HOLLY ARROW DEAD IN HER TRACKS!!! Holly is staggered and dazed as she’s dropping to a knee, with Limmy bringing himself back up to his feet as he’s refusing to slow himself down here! Holly Arrow may be in major trouble from here on out as Limmy is now dragging Holly right over & into position, as he’s got her lined up & PLANTING HER DOWNWARD WITH ‘ASCALON’!!! THE PILEDRIVER SPIKES HOLLY AS LIMMY LOOKS FOR THE COVER!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEE—
Flannery McCoy: KICK OUT!!! HOLLY ARROW IS ABLE TO KICK OUT!! Limmy is seeing that there is much more that must be done from here, as this can go either way with how all of this has now progressed into this upper register of the match! Holly is trying to crawl herself back into a more prominent position, all the while Limmy is looking to score the win here as he now backs into the corner, seeing that Holly is stirring after being spiked into the canvas! Arrow is making the rise, and Monaghan is lying in wait as he’s now RUSHING FORWARD WITH ‘DIVINE DEPARTURE’—
Jake Mercer: ‘VICTORIA’!!!! POP-UP KNEE STRIKE FROM HOLLY STUNTS LIMMY’S MOMENTUM AT THE NICK OF TIME!!! Limmy’s dazed as he drops to a knee, and Holly sees that another opportunity has arisen from nailing the knee that staggers Monaghan incredibly here! Holly Arrow now backs herself away, and she doesn’t waste another second to find herself rushing back toward Limmy & now LOOKING TO PUT HIM BACK DOWN WITH ‘LODESTAR RISING’!!! Limmy slumps down as Holly hooks the leg!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEE—
Stew-O: NOT ENOUGH!! Holly is wide-eyed as she sees that Limmy isn’t done! All of the offense that she has thrown and it is still not enough to put Limmy Monaghan down! Holly is now rising upward, and she’s looking to put an end to this match as quickly as she manage, as Limmy is looking to get himself back up to his feet before Arrow can mount another movement of offense that may end this match for good! Holly pulls Limmy into position, and she’s looking to send Limmy for the spiral as this is where she hoists Limmy just enough for ‘PSIONIC CROSSBOW’—
Flannery McCoy: LIMMY SQUIRMS HIMSELF FREE FROM HER GRASP & LANDS BACK ONTO HIS FEET—BEFORE NAILING A HEADBUTT INTO HOLLY ARROW!!! Holly is dazed after the headbutt as Limmy finds himself staggering back as well, with Holly being sent into the corner! Limmy is now bringing himself upward as he’s getting Holly up to the top turnbuckle, and he may be looking for an immense game changer in this match as he’s now seeking out an AVALANCHE SWINGING NECKBREAKER—
Jake Mercer: HOLLY SENDING SHOTS ACROSS HER ABDOMEN! Limmy can’t commit as they’re now trading strikes at the very top of the turnbuckle left in a dangerous position here! They’re exchanging these strikes across the body in unison as they don’t want to give way to the other opponent in any manner right now! They’re looking to wind up—BUT THEY EACH CLASH SKULLS WITH HEADBUTTS THAT CAUSES THEM BOTH TO FALL BACK DOWN ONTO THE MAT! Limmy’s staggering upward as he’s leaned over the ropes, as the referee is fixated on Holly as she’s dazed—WHAT THE?!?!
Stew-O: KIRK WITH THE EYE RAKE FROM RINGSIDE!!! KIRK REDWOOD JUST VIOLENTLY RAKED LIMMY’S EYES AS HE’S STAGGERING BACK—INTO A ROLL UP FROM HOLLY ARROW WHO’S STILL ROCKED BUT MOBILE ENOUGH!!!! LIMMY’S CLUTCHING HIS EYES!!!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… HOLLYYYYYY ARROWWWWWW!
Stew-O: AND NO TIME SPENT TO CELEBRATE AS RAVEN DECIDES TO SEND A RIGHT SPIRALLING TOWARD MILLI! AND MILLI RETORTS!!! HOLLY SEES THE ACTION ALL FORMULATING AT RINGSIDE AS SHE RECOVERS ENOUGH TO SLIDE OUT OF THE RING & TAKE HERSELF TO THE ACTION!
Flannery McCoy: KIRK DRAGS LIMMY OUT OF THE RING AS THEY NOW BEGIN TO WAIL INTO ONE ANOTHER! LIMMY IS NOT WILLING TO JUST BE CANNON FODDER FOR KIRK AS HE’S DISHING OUT THE LEFTS AS WELL! TRAILING UP TO THE RAMP AS EFFY SEES THE ACTION & DECIDES SHE WANTS TO JOIN THE FRAY!
Jake Mercer: AS SHE LEAPS ONTO THE BARRICADE, AND RUNS ALONG THE BARRICADE TO POUNCE ONTO BOTH KIRK & LIMMY!!! She causes both men to stagger up along the ramp as they’re trying to get back up as Effy is sending the rights as well!!! The three participants of the World Heavyweight Championship chamber are taking their brawl to the back, leaving the environment here entirely!
(As Milli, Holly & Raven continue to brawl amongst one another, refusing to relent back—a figure can be seen climbing up the turnbuckle, and then taking it a step further by climbing up to the very top of the ring post itself, with the audience responding loudly as they look upward.)
Stew-O: IS THAT—OH MY GOD!!!! KASAI LEAPS FROM THE TOP OF THE RING POST ONTO ALL THREE WOMEN!!!!! SHE TAKES ALL THREE WOMEN DOWN WITH AN IMMENSE DIVE!!! SHE JUST TOOK THEM ALL DOWN!!!
Flannery McCoy: AND THEY’RE ALL RATTLED!! KASAI RISES BACK UP TO HER FEET AS SHE’S NOW NODDING TO HERSELF WITH A MANIC SMILE AND ALL, KASAI STANDS TALL TONIGHT AS SHE JUST SENT THE MESSAGE ENTIRELY!
(KASAI begins to step herself away from the downed elitists as officials begin to swarm the arena, looking to prevent further brawls from commencing as Tyrone Montgomery himself can be seen stepping down the ramp. He looks toward KASAI, with verbal reprimands being made toward her, yet she remains steadfast in her stance as she simply nods to his words like a symphony, the scene fading.)
(EAW logo buzzes.)
