( The scene opens up backstage at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Bloodsport has just concluded, and the Voltage backstage personnel are absolutely buzzing over the horrific Chainsaw Deathmatch they just witnessed. No doubt that match will go down in EAW history as one of the greatest matches of all time, and Fight Grid backstage correspondent, Molly Waters, is seen standing by. The pretty reporter has a smile on her face as she looks into the camera and begins to speak. )
Molly Waters: Ladies and gentlemen, Bloodsport is in the books and just a few minutes ago, Drake King retained the EAW World Championship in an absolutely incredible, and absolutely gruesome Chainsaw Deathmatch. We hope to get medical updates on both Drake and the man he put away to retain his championship, Justin Windgate, a little later on, but right now, I want to bring in Voltage Commissioner, Captain Charisma!
( Captain Charisma steps beside Molly and has a shit eating grin on his face. He is obviously pleased with the carnage caused by Bloodsport and how well his roster performed. As usual, the men and women of Voltage raised the bar and set the standard for the rest of the season. )
Molly Waters: Thank you for joining me, Captain Charisma. You’ve been quite the busy man tonight! Not only did you name Jamie O’Hara the captain of the Voltage Brand Warfare team, you made a deal with New Eden that if they win the main event at Territorial Invasion for Voltage, you would step aside and allow them to run the brand for an entire month! Do you care to elaborate more on that decision?
Captain Charisma: It’s like I said earlier tonight, New Eden is going to eventually fuck themselves, and if that means I need to step back and let the inmates run the asylum for a little bit, then so be it. There’s no guarantee they’ll win at Territorial Invasion. I don’t know if you remember last year’s event, but Voltage had the win in the palm of their hands and greed overcame Drake King and he cost us the victory. Will history repeat itself? I can’t answer that, but I do know I’m a competitive person and I like to win, and if that means giving New Eden a chance to push their shitty agenda on the rest of us, then so be it. I would bet my entire future as Voltage’s Commissioner that if New Eden does get to run things, they will self-destruct because of their own egos. No way they would last running this brand for an entire month.
Molly Waters: You seem extremely confident, Captain Charisma.
Captain Charisma: I just know that eventually the true colors of those involved will eventually show. Now, can we get to why we’re actually here?
( Molly’s face flushes. )
Molly Waters: Yes, sir. Of course. Let’s talk about Tag Team Turmoil.
Captain Charisma: Absolutely! The Tag Team Turmoil Tournament is something I’m pretty excited for, and right now, we’re going to reveal the bracket for the tournament.
( The tournament bracket flashes up on the screen. )

Captain Charisma: I really can’t wait to see how this tournament goes, especially when you look at the teams and the potential match-ups. That’s why I’m not going to waste any time getting things underway. Next week on Voltage, Jamie O’Hara and Chris Elite will take on Shane Gates and Lucas Johnson. I think Jamie and Chris are calling themselves The Blicky Roos. It’s kind of catchy, don’t you think?
Molly Waters: :wow:
Captain Charisma: Needless to say, the tournament promises to be full of incredible match-ups. Lucas Johnson is someone who has been extremely impressive so far this season. I know he is hungry to get back into the championship conversation and make a name for himself, and I hope he continues putting forth the type of effort he has so far this season. Shane Gates is someone who has all the potential in the world and needs to continue to push himself and give it his best effort. Going against two Hall of Famers like Jamie O’Hara and Chris Elite will be a hell of an experience for both of them, and I wish everyone involved in this tournament the best of luck.
( Captain Charisma grins at Molly and heads off, thus ending the interview. With the Tag Team Turmoil bracket revealed, things no doubt are going to get very interesting on Voltage in the upcoming weeks. Molly signs off and the Fight Grid exclusive fades to black. )
