Voltage 10/16/22

Voltage 10/16/22

(EAW intro plays.)

(The camera opens up as usual and a recap of last week’s Voltage begins to play. It starts right into the action as Charlie Marr faced off against Lexi for the Hardcore Championship. A lot of shenanigans happened with Veena being in Charlie’s corner and Charlie even attacking Minerva who was at ringside watching the match, but Charlie was able to make Lexi bleed and successfully defend his championship. After the match, Veena is going to attack Lexi but she is saved by Holly and is scared away by a chair. After that, Eden Sinclair reveals the new Disney representative for Voltage, and it is none other than Candice Blair Ava! The crowd is incredibly ecstatic about Candice returning, but they quickly turn on her, seeing her side up completely with Disney and Eden. The Ice Aces then come out to interrupt, trying to get Candice to snap to her senses about Eden’s true nature and how she has treated everyone, but Candice continues to side with Eden and not listen to them. Haruka Kashimashi and Halsey Neel arrive early to start off the match in a chaotic way, as Kylie Grace quickly joins them and the Ice Aces face off against Haruka, Halsey and Kylie in a Tornado Trios Match. Ayu is close to getting the win for her team, but Candice interferes and lays Ayu out with a chair, giving Haruka the chance to pin her and get the win for her team. Backstage, Captain Charisma is trying to figure out what is happening with Candice and Eden before Ronan Malosi enters his office. Ronan is still trying to convince him to let him use his favor to be Commissioner of Voltage. Captain Charisma is still obviously not sure about that, as Ronan even says that as Commissioner he would fire people that wronged him. Captain Charisma simply advises him to focus on his match and that they could chat next week, with Ronan leaving in a good mood once more.)

(The recap continues. The debuting SHOHEI gets a win over Alex Matthews. Sheridan Muller is able to beat Ronan, with Ronan complaining to the referee after the match and Daryl laying Ronan out. Sofia Clarke tries to get an interview with Sierra Everett but she encounters her sister and new assistant, Delilah Everett. She tells her that Sierra is out resting and due to Hikari’s attack, she might not be cleared to wrestle until after Wicked Games, but after some inconsistencies and questioning, Sofia suspects Sierra might be just fine after all. Before she can get to the bottom of it, Delilah shuts the door on her. Hikari Kanno is able to defeat the National Elite Champion Donovan Duke in a great match. TLA visits the Dead Sea and Drake’s mansion to know more about him, but he makes the staff believe he was out there to fix the mansion, he trashes it, remodels it, turns it into a Poon Palace and leaves in the name of fiesta. Drake King and Daryl Kinkade fight in a solid match with Drake being able to take the win. Before his match, Theron comes out to talk about what happened with Natasha and what Samael did to her, with Theron calling out Samael, who doesn’t answer him. Theron can only warn him about the consequences of what he did. Then after, Minerva gets her revenge on Charlie from earlier in the night and brutally attacks him. Finally, in the Main Event, Minerva and Theron Nikolas fight in a hard hitting match, with the EAW Champion taking the victory. After the match, Samael makes his appearance, attacking Theron after the match and laying him out but before he can finish him off, Samael disappears and lets Theron lay there unscathed. The recap ends with an image of Draven the Crow sitting on top of the turnbuckle and screeching out towards the arena.)

(The recap ends and Sunday Night Voltage fades away to show a shot of the Standard Bank Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa. An edited version of ‘33rd Blakk Glass’ by ZilaKami & SosMula is played through the speakers as spotlights are panning around and golden pyro is shooting out from the stage. The crowd cheers wildly as the camera then goes over to show the broadcasting team of Rich Russillo, James Peters, and Persephone.)

Rich Russillo: Welcome everyone…to SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE! We are just close to two weeks away from Wicked Games and the excitement can be felt in the air with another great show that we have for you!!!

James Peters: We will see new and old faces on this one as Ronan Malosi will take on Alex Matthews, SHOHEI against Kenn Kenn and Daryl Kinkade versus Haruka Kashimashi!

Rich Russillo: We also have various Voltage versus Showdown matches today, with the Ice Aces going up against Komatsu Ogawa and Lucas Johnson, and Samael against Roberto de la Rosa. But of course, in our main event, The Prescription will face off against Drake King and TLA for the Unified Tag Team Championships! WILL THEY CO-EXIST?!

Persephone: I am sure Drake and TLA will be able to succeed as a team and work together- Ok, I can’t even be serious here, they won’t at all, but the match will indeed be amazing! Let us get on with the show then! 😀

(Voltage fades to the stage for the first time tonight, and before too long, ‘7 Rings’ by Ariana Grande hits. The crowd immediately begins booing extremely loudly for Showdown’s Veena Adams, but as Veena makes her way out to the stage with a microphone in her hand she couldn’t care less about the boos. Veena doesn’t look happy, but it’s because of the attack that occurred last week, where Minerva laid Charlie Marr out with a baseball bat backstage before her match against Theron Nikolas. Veena begins slowly walking down to the ring, ignoring the negative reception from the fans.)

James Peters: Veena Adams is out here, and I think it should be obvious that this has to do with Charlie Marr. We know that Charlie and Minerva had some brawls last week, and the final one took place backstage during a commercial break so we didn’t get to see what happened. What we do know is that Minerva attacked him with a baseball bat, and it looked like Charlie’s leg was hurt.

Rich Russillo: Veena Adams must be here to give us all an update on Charlie following the attack. I’m not so sure what it is that’ll be said about Charlie since we missed the attack, but hopefully he’s still able to compete at Wicked Games!

Persephone: Yes, it’d be a real shame if Charlie couldn’t make it and we had one less match on the show. 🙂

(Veena Adams slowly gets inside of the ring, and it takes a little while to begin speaking as she’s obviously really upset over the attack on Charlie Marr. After a few more seconds, Veena looks at the camera before beginning to speak.)

Veena Adams: This is all your fault, Minerva. Charlie Marr was ready to become the EAW World Champion and finally end this miserable reign. He’s the best this entire brand has to offer, and at Wicked Games he was going to prove that by tearing apart the current World Champion. Charlie deserves to be the EAW World Champion. He spent this entire season carrying this show on his back since your title reign’s been a colossal disappointment and nobody else could even lace Charlie’s boots let alone compare to him. He should’ve had the EAW Championship handed to him after all he did for this dumpster fire of a show. He was the biggest threat you would’ve faced in your entire Championship reign and you know that. He’s already been the best Hardcore Champion this company’s seen by a wide margin and this was his chance to win another well deserved Championship, yet you took that away by trying to take Charlie out of his Wicked Games match.

(The crowd boos loudly, not believing in what Veena has to say because of the brawl that happened earlier in the show last week, where Charlie laid out Minerva. Veena turns towards the crowd before continuing.)

Veena Adams: You all need to shut your dirty mouths, you weren’t back there when Minerva assaulted Charlie. Minerva came out of nowhere with a baseball bat and attacked Charlie for no reason. Charlie fought back of course, but when you’ve already been through a hardcore match and someone attacks you with a baseball bat, there’s not much that can be done no matter how great you are. Minerva didn’t just attack him, either. She took the coward’s way out and went after Charlie’s leg, not giving him much of a chance to fight back in the first place. Charlie Marr was a bigger threat to the EAW World Championship than Minerva’s ever seen, so she did the one thing that’d keep Charlie down and protect her title reign. She injured Charlie Marr. She saw just how well he performed in that Hardcore Championship match and just how easily he dominated against Lexi, and because of that Minerva injured him. Now he’s suffering an MCL sprain that we’re not sure he’ll be able to recover from before Wicked Games.

(There is a mixed reaction from the fans after hearing this news. While they dislike Charlie Marr and are glad to see him get what he deserves, they know just how exciting the match with Minerva was going to be.)

Veena Adams: I don’t know how you all could be proud of a “Champion” like that, but-

(Finally, ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ by White Zombie hits, cutting Veena Adams off as Minerva begins to walk out with the EAW World Championship on her shoulder. Minerva doesn’t look impressed after hearing the announcement, but she does have a smirk on her face, likely thanks to her seeing the anger on Veena Adams’ face as she makes her way down the ramp.)

James Peters: One thing’s for sure. Minerva doesn’t look apologetic in the slightest for what she did to Charlie!

Rich Russillo: I think that was to be expected, but I really do wonder if we’re still going to see a EAW World Championship at Wicked Games! Like Veena said, there’s no telling if Charlie will be able to recover in time.

(Minerva has a microphone in her hand as she walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, and seeing the look on Veena’s face, Minerva begins to speak.)

Minerva: Did you forget what Charlie did in the Hardcore Championship match? Did you really think that I wouldn’t retaliate after he attacked me with a sledgehammer?

Veena Adams: I-

Minerva: Really Veena? You had all this time to mention the fact that Charlie tried to take me out because he didn’t like hearing the truth about himself, and yet while criticizing my Championship reign and calling me out for my own attack, that detail clearly slipped your mind. I didn’t attack Charlie for no reason, not that I’d need one when this is *my* show. Charlie tried to humiliate me in last week’s opening match, I merely returned the favor as soon as I found him backstage. Is it really my fault that Charlie can’t take the same treatment that he dishes out without his own body giving up on him? I don’t believe it is, but in any case if you want an apology, or for me to feel bad about my actions, it’s not happening. You were there. You could’ve warned Charlie. You had all the time in the world to let him know not to try and play his games with me, so don’t start blaming me for not sitting back and letting Charlie walk all over me. That’s not what I do, and if the two of you thought that the EAW World Champion was some kind of coward after hearing and seeing just how dangerous I can be for the past few years, you only have yourselves to blame.

Veena Adams: I know what Charlie did, but he didn’t put his own match in jeopardy because he isn’t a coward. If he wanted you to be left sitting in a hospital bed unable to compete he would have, but here you are proud of assaulting someone with a baseball bat.

Minerva: You’re right, I am proud of it, and if I were you I’d stay far away from this situation and let Charlie speak for himself, because you’ve already had the pleasure of seeing what I’m capable of up close just last week. I don’t think you need another demonstration, but I’m not going to let neither you nor Charlie Marr try to make me out to be some kind of joke. I’m the EAW Champion for a reason Veena, the reason being that I’m the best on this roster regardless of whether or not Charlie can compete. It doesn’t matter to me if Charlie can make it to Wicked Games as long as I’m able to defend my title, but truth be told, I want him to recover. I want him to be able to face me at Wicked Games, because when this ends I want it to be because I destroyed Charlie Marr inside of that ring just like I did against Daryl Kinkade and Ronan Malosi. That attack backstage was nothing more than me giving Charlie what he asked for, paying him back for what he did that night. This was never intended to end there so I’ll be glad if I’m able to face Charlie at Wicked Games. If you want to make yourself useful, maybe you should tell Charlie that I’ll be waiting for his recovery, and if he still wants a shot at my title by then, I’d be more than happy to do what I planned to at Wicked Games.

(The fans cheer at this as there’s a staredown between Veena and Minerva, before Veena finally begins to respond, looking at Minerva with disgust.)

Veena Adams: There’s only been one thing to look forward to on this brand throughout this season, and it’s the man that would have ended your Championship reign at Wicked Games. There’s only one reason why you would’ve wanted to leave Charlie with an injury like that Minerva, so you’re not going to fool me. Nobody cares about the fact that you’re a World Champion, not like they care about Charlie Marr. There’s a reason he’s in the main event of the show nearly every time he wrestles when this is supposed to be “your” brand. Voltage belongs to Charlie Marr, and once he dethroned you at Wicked Games he would’ve exposed the fact that the EAW Championship is the only thing you ever had going for you. Once Charlie took it from you there’d be nothing left, because his first week as World Champion would surpass everything you’ve done since Pain for Pride and you know that just as well as I do.

(The grin on Minerva’s face doesn’t disappear after hearing this, instead she just shakes her head.)

Minerva: Stop embarrassing yourself, Veena. Whether you like it or not I am the EAW World Champion, and that’s not going to change anytime soon. You’d be far better off turning your attention to Lexi and Holly Arrow instead of getting involved with Charlie’s problems, because nothing you say will make me regret doing what I did to Charlie and nothing you say will make him any bigger of a threat to my Championship-

(‘Praise The Lord’ by Bandokay hits, and the fans are all surprised as both Veena and Minerva turn towards the stage. After a few seconds, Charlie Marr is seen walking out with the Hardcore Championship around his waist, and a microphone in his hand. After the attack from Minerva Charlie is in a knee brace, walking with a limp as he heads down the ramp and the two competitors for the EAW World Championship stare directly at each other.)

James Peters: Well this is a surprise! It looks like Charlie Marr is here tonight, and he has something he wants to say as well!

Rich Russillo: I’m interested in seeing what it is, surely he can’t compete though, right?

(Charlie begins to walk up the steps, and he begins to speak while he enters the ring.)

Charlie Marr: I appreciate Veena’s concern, but let’s get one thing straight. I didn’t carry this brand for the past few months just to miss out on the opportunity that I deserve just because of some little attack. She said it perfectly, I’ve been the only thing for anybody to look forward to for the past few months. I’ve excelled as Hardcore Champion to the point where these title defenses aren’t even a challenge for me, and yet everyone tunes in to watch me embarrass whoever’s stupid enough to get in my way. I am by far the biggest star on this show, and I wouldn’t care if you hit me with a baseball bat or with a truck, I’d still get back up because I’m the toughest person this entire company has to offer. You clearly didn’t expect to see me come out here, well guess what? You want your Championship defense, well you won’t have to wait any longer. I don’t give a **BLEEP** about some injury, I’m still competing at Wicked Games and I’m taking my title.

(The crowd explodes into cheers hearing that the match at Wicked Games is still on, and this clearly is interesting to Minerva, who begins to speak.)

Minerva: Are you sure you want to go through with this?

Charlie Marr: If you’re expecting me to second guess anything, just give up now. I used my favor to get this opportunity because I’m the only Elitist on this roster that should be holding that title. You’ve been a disgrace to the Championship that I elevated years ago, and I’m not going to wait any longer than I already am to take it back and show the world what a real World Champion is like.

Minerva: You can do what you want, I just had to make sure you knew what you were doing because I don’t want any excuses to come from your loss at Wicked Games. You were always outmatched, and the result of this match wouldn’t be any different even if you could walk without a limp.

(A grin appears on Charlie’s face as he continues to speak.)

Charlie Marr: You’re right, it wouldn’t be any different because injured or not I’m still leagues better than you. I’m the Hardcore Champion, you think I can’t take some shots to my leg? At Wicked Games I’m going to humiliate you and force you into realizing that you were never running this show. You were just lucky that I was too busy to challenge you, and now your luck has run out and you have no other options but to face me one on one in a match you don’t stand a chance of winning. We’re only a few weeks away from the night your title reign ends, and once you lose the EAW Championship you won’t even try challenging me for the title again because by that point you’ll be too scared to go through this ever again.

Minerva: We’ll see about that. I just hope you’re as ready as you say you are. I always knew I’d retain this Championship against you, but with that injury I’m not even sure if it’ll be a chall-

James Peters: WOAH!!! VEENA ADAMS JUST ATTACKED MINERVA FROM BEHIND!!!! I should’ve known these two would have done something, especially Veena! Veena Adams is hitting Minerva with punches and elbows after already having dropped Minerva to a knee, BUT MINERVA FINALLY LANDS AN ELBOW TO THE MIDSECTION! MINERVA GETS BACK UP NOW AND TURNS TOWARDS VEENA-

Rich Russillo: BUT CHARLIE MARR LANDS AN ELBOW TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD, AND THIS DROPS MINERVA TO THE MAT AS VEENA LANDS SOME NASTY STOMPS ONTO THE CHAMPION!!! These two have Minerva outnumbered, and I don’t know if that was the result of Veena not liking what she was hearing or if that was the plan all along, but these two aren’t even giving Minerva a good chance to fight back!

James Peters: Veena Adams grabs Minerva by the arms and begins to pull her up! Minerva is struggling trying to fight out of Veena’s grasp, BUT CHARLIE RUNS THE ROPES BEFORE MINERVA HAS THE TIME TO FREE HERSELF FROM VEENA! CHARING CROSS!!!!

Rich Russillo: THE CHARING CROSS CONNECTS AND LAYS OUT THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!

(The crowd boos extremely loudly, and Charlie picks up both one of the fallen microphones and the EAW World Championship before beginning to speak.)

Charlie Marr: At Wicked Games your reign ends, and I return to Voltage as a double Champion.

(‘Praise The Lord’ begins playing once again as the boos grow even louder, and Charlie drops the microphone before unhooking the Hardcore Championship. Charlie raises both titles as he and Veena stand over Minerva, and from there Voltage fades away from ringside and into the first commercial break of the night.)

(A promotional ad for the Dynasty exclusive event Justified Reckoning airs. See World Heavyweight Champion, Andre Walker, defend his title against a very impressive Bronson Daniels as the Justified Wrecking emanates from the Sparks Arena in Auckland. New Zealand on October 22nd, 2022! Only on Disney+!)

(Voltage returns and the camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the ring, accompanied by Amaya, who waits in the corner.)

Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Ronan Malosi’s personal ring announcer…Amaya!

(Amaya steps to the center of the ring as “Mo Money” by Ben McLusky plays out Ronan Malosi to a thunderous ovation from fans in Johannesburg, South Africa, given he’s from the country. Pyro goes off for Malosi after taunting with his fedora on the stage, and he continues his stride to the ring, ignoring fans who have their hands out.)

Amaya: Introducing first! Residing out of Tribeca, New York City, New York, a place far better than this dump, weighing in at 285 pounds…HE IS THE MILLION DOLLAR MEGASTAR…AND HAS MORE MONEY THAN YOU…YES, YOU, THE INCELS OF SOUTH AFRICA…RONAN MALOSI!!!

(Ronan stops walking, and takes a second to smirk at the crowd’s total 180, going from cheering to booing rap quick before continuing his walk to the ring.)

James Peters: Ronan’s a real work of art, isn’t he?

Rich Russillo: I’d say so, it’s not everyday you see someone 180 the crowd like that. But it’s not like booing isn’t his average reaction anyway.

Persephone: Ronan’s gonna have to block them out, needing to win over Alex Matthews, and build momentum towards his match with Daryl Kinkade.

(“Mo Money” is replaced with ‘Paradise City’ by Guns N’ Roses to an equally negative reaction from fans as Alex Matthews heads out from behind the curtain, jaw jacking with the fans in his route to the ring.)

Bella Braxton: And his opponent! Hailing out of Cincinnati, Ohio, weighing in at 220 pounds…HE IS THE PODCAST KING…ALEX MATHEWS!!

James Peters: Looks like the crowd doesn’t have anyone to root for in this matchup.

Rich Russillo: I’m sure they’ll pick a side eventually, but as of right now, neither look appealing to South Africa, although, I’m sure neither side cares.

James Peters: Yeah, they’re looking to pick up wins more than anything, especially Alex Matthews, who hasn’t had much luck in EAW.

(‘Paradise City’ by Guns N’ Roses fades out as Ronan and Alex stare each other down from opposite corners.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

James Peters: The bell has rung, the matchup is underway, and look at the smug expression on Ronan’s face, feeling as if he has easy pickings tonight.

Rich Russillo: Ronan’s arrogance has gotten in the way of success before, and it could do the same tonight. For someone who claims to be the locker room leader, imparting these supposed “lessons,” he’s sure missing a valuable one right now, and that’s to never overlook an opponent.

James Peters: Speaking of said opponent, Alex Matthews, he doesn’t look to carry that same confidence, seeing the size advantage Ronan has over him.

Persephone: Along with the strength advantage.

James Peters: Both competitors circle one another, and lock up in the center of the ring. Ronan plants him with a collar and elbow facebuster, and watches as Matthews gets back to his feet, running off the ropes for a shoulder tackle!

Rich Russillo: Ronan about ran him over there, and picks Matthews up from all fours, bieling him in the corner to inflict more damage! MALOSI CHARGES IN- BIG BOOT! Matthews got the boot up on Malosi, spinning him around as he clutches at his jaw area. Alex sees an opportunity, and takes it, grabbing Ronan in a standing side headlock!

Persephone: Malosi bounces him off the ropes to escape, and ducks down for what I’m guessing is a back body drop attempt.

James Peters: MATTHEWS COUNTERS WITH A DDT! Ronan pops up to his feet, staggering back against the ropes, and Matthews runs full steam ahead towards Malosi! But Ronan side steps, sending Matthews up and over the top rope! Malosi turns around, and gets caught with a forearm smash from Matthews on the apron!

Rich Russillo: Alex goes to slingshot himself over the top rope- BUT GETS MET WITH DREAM CRUSHER! THE RIGHT HOOK PICKED MATTHEWS OUT OF MID AIR! Ronan grabs hold of the top rope, and lands some rope assisted stomps to the chest of a downed Matthews! The referee intervenes with a five count!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOU-

James Peters: Referee intervenes further, prying Ronan away from Alex, and reprimands him for his actions.

Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) SHUT UP!

Rich Russillo: I don’t think Ronan appreciated the referee’s actions there, and proceeds to break more rules, using the bottom rope to choke Matthews with his boot pressed on the back of his neck!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) Didn’t you hear me the first time? SHUT UP!

Persephone: I imagine Ronan’s in a sour mood after last week.

James Peters: I think so too, and right now, he’s looking to send a message to Daryl Kinkade. Once again, pushing down on the back of Alex Matthews’ neck with his boot, choking him on the bottom rope.

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!

Rich Russillo: How tired do you imagine the referee already is of issuing counts for Ronan?

James Peters: I’d imagine very. But with Alex hung up on the bottom rope, Ronan runs off the opposite set, baseball sliding out underneath said bottom rope, and catching Matthews with a RIGHT HAND! Ronan’s a heavy hitter, we know of his history in MMA, which plays a part into why he’s here today, feeling as if the money he made there just wasn’t enough.

Rich Russillo: He’s a very money-motivated elitist, I’m shocked he and Sierra Everett didn’t get along more.

James Peters: I think their attitudes played a part in that.

Persephone: What do you mean? They’re great people! 😀

James Peters: Ronan slides back into the ring as Alex rolls to the center off that punch, and hooks the leg for a cover!

ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: Alex sits up, but Ronan capitalizes off this, placing in that half Nelson choke, which is only gonna wear down his opponent even more.

James Peters: Ronan looks to be annoying the audience in South Africa, reigning down on him with boos as he slows the pace.

Rich Russillo: I can’t imagine many elitists, who’ve gotten booed in their own country like Ronan has tonight. Then again, he’s brought it on himself somewhat.

James Peters: The boos don’t phase Ronan. Oddly enough, I think they motivate him. …Alex starts powering back to his feet, and attempts to break the grip of Ronan with shots to the rib cage. When that doesn’t work, Matthews frees himself with a JAWBREAKER on Malosi!

Rich Russillo: Ronan stumbles back a bit, and Alex staggers back into the corner, hoping to regroup. BUT HERE COMES RONAN WITH A RUNNING CORNER CLOTHESLINE! From there, he delivers multiple clothesline to Alex in the corner before Irish whipping him to the opposite corner!

James Peters: Matthews hits sternum first into the top turnbuckle, and staggers back into a northern clothesline from Malosi! Alex writhes in pain on the canvas, and Ronan places his boot on the side of Matthews’ face, spreading his arms wide, and taunting to the crowd.

Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) BOO ALL YOU WANT, IDIOTS! YOU PAID A TICKET TO SEE ME ANYWAY!

Persephone: :roman:

Rich Russillo: Ronan stands Alex back up, and delivers a knee to the midsection! Matthews backs up against the ropes, and Ronan charges in! RUNNING RIGHT INTO A BACK ELBOW FROM ALEX! Malosi spins around, staggering to the center, holding his jaw, but his looks turns to one of anger as he snaps back, and runs at Matthews once more!

James Peters: Alex sidestepped! Ronan went out through the middle rope, and Matthews stumbled to the corner. Ronan’s getting quite annoyed, and might regret playing around with Alex as he slides back into the ring, charging at Matthews like a bull once again!

Rich Russillo: Alex gets both knees up, and pops to the middle rope for a DIVING DROPKICK! Ronan goes down momentarily, and picks himself up in the corner! MATTHEWS LANDS A RUNNING JUMPING CORNER FOREARM STRIKE! AND HE’S JUST TAGGING RONAN WITH A BARRAGE OF FOREARMS IN THAT CORNER!

James Peters: Malosi shoves Matthews away, who goes to charge right back at him, but Ronan drops down, rolling out underneath the bottom rope, catching his breath. BUT HE GETS LEFT OPEN FOR A WRECKING BALL DROPKICK FROM ALEX! Ronan gets knocked rib first into the barricade, and Matthews exits the ring.

Persephone: Ronan catches him with a knee to the midsection!

Rich Russillo: Matthews gets slammed face first on the barricade, and Ronan keeps his face pressed there, REIGNING DOWN WITH REPEATED ELBOW STRIKES! Alex’s face is getting crushed between Ronan’s elbow, and the top of that barricade.

James Peters: Alex might be out as he slumps down, but Ronan isn’t done with him just yet, delivering a hard knee to the side of his face. When it isn’t the elbow, it’s the knee being used to crush Alex’s head with the barricade. Ronan rolls him back into the ring, and lifts Matthews up by the arm. I think we’re gonna see it…

Rich Russillo: DEATH-RO!! Alex just planted in the center of the ring, and if he wasn’t out before, he certainly is now as Ronan makes the cover!

ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Bella Braxton: HERES YOUR WINNER…RONAN MALOSI!!

(“Mo Money” plays in the background as Ronan rises off the body of Alex Matthews, and has his hand raised in victory by the referee, much to the crowd’s chagrin. But Ronan doesn’t care though, smirking, getting the results he expected. However, his demeanor turns to one of anger, snatching his hand away from the referee, and picking up Alex, tossing him up and over the top rope, to which he faceplants on the outside. “Mo Money” comes to a halt as a result.)

James Peters: Ronan, you won the match, what was that for?

Rich Russillo: I don’t think Ronan wanted to share another second in the ring with Alex, he looks to have much more important duties on the mind.

(Ronan sticks half his body out the middle rope, and demands a microphone, which he soon gets delivered to him by Amaya. Ronan re-enters the ring, and stands in the center, tapping on the microphone, making sure it works before speaking into it.)

Persephone: Oh great, we’re gonna hear Ronan speak too. After seeing him wrestle, this is a two-for-one special!

Ronan Malosi: Captain Charisma! I know we were scheduled for a meeting later on tonight, but I’m saying screw that! I’m saying- no, I’m demanding you come down to this ring, and give me what I want!

James Peters: Demanding something from our commissioner? Does this guy want to be fired?

(Ronan looks toward the entranceway, but there’s no sign of Captain Charisma, so growing frustrated, Ronan continues speaking into the microphone.)

Ronan Malosi: :francis: CAPTAIN CHARISMA! I WANT MY REWARD! GIVE ME ALL THE POWER!!!!

(The crowd erupts in jeers and Ronan takes a moment to compose himself.)

Captain Charisma: Look, at Territorial Invasion, I was Voltage’s most important member of Brand Warfare, yet you, the team, nor these people have given me the respect, and the admiration I deserve for it. Anyone with a functioning brain can see how unfair that is. I left Showdown hoping to get away from Hurricane Hawk, and his little conspiracy against me, but it feels as if I’m being met with the same. CC, I am the locker room leader of Voltage. You know me. You know my morals, my ethics, my values, which is why a week should’ve been enough time for you to think, and make the right decision, appointing me as Voltage commissioner. I won the Brand Warfare match, I’m owed-

???: Ronan, stop it!

(Ronan turns his head to the entranceway as Captain Charisma comes down the ramp with a microphone in hand, causing the crowd to pop, happy to see someone cut off Ronan’s whining.)

Captain Charisma: Just stop it! I thought about your proposition to be Voltage commissioner…

Ronan Malosi: And???

(Captain Charisma walks up on the steps, and onto the apron, entering the ring where an eager Malosi awaits his decision.)

Captain Charisma: My answer… is still no. You will not be the co-commissioner of Voltage, and you definitely won’t run the show alone.

(The crowd rejoices at this, and an angry Ronan gets in the face of Captain Charisma, looking as if he wants to hurt him right now, but CC shows no intimidation.)

Captain Charisma: Ronan, if you don’t back away from me in the next five seconds, I’ll have no qualms making sure you aren’t even a part of Voltage.

(Ronan backs away slightly from Captain Charisma, but remains staring a hole into him, still upset with the ruling given.)

Captain Charisma: That’s more like it. Now, I can see that you’re angry, I can see that you probably wanna hurt me similar to how you did Alex.

(Captain Charisma points to Alex Matthews, who’s being tended to by medical ringside.)

Captain Charisma: But you’re gonna wanna hear me out, because what I’m going to do is allow you to work alongside… Eden Sinclair!

(Ronan seems a bit caught off guard, as are the fans somewhat, but before he can even react, Eden comes storming out with a microphone in hand.)

Eden Sinclair: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Matt, you can just go making decisions like this without consulting me.

(Eden goes up the steps, and enters through the bottom rope, standing alongside CC, who’s she’s clearly not happy with, and lets him know it.)

Captain Charisma: But-

Eden Sinclair: No, buts! I didn’t agree to work with Ronan, in fact, I don’t want to work with Ronan. I feel as if I’m doing a great job on my own, so let’s keep it that way.

Captain Charisma: Eden, I understand your concern, but the decision is already made.

Ronan Malosi: First of all, Eden, the feeling is mutual. Of course, not you doing a great job, but it’s best if you work alone, just like it’s best that I work alone. Ya see, Captain, I didn’t ask to work alongside Eden Sinclair, I asked to be the commissioner of Voltage. If there’s anybody on this brand suited for the role most, it’s me. I’m the million dollar megastar for a reason, and that’s because I grab people’s attention. Honestly, if you gave me the keys to Voltage, this brand would be far, far better off. So, please, please, please, reconsider your decision, do the right thing, and give me the role of commissioner. I know it can be hard to let something go, but if you truly care about this brand, you’ll do that for the greater good.

Captain Charisma: Well, Ronan, when you put it that way… my answer is still no. I am not naming you the commissioner of Voltage, and that’s final.

Eden Sinclair: See, that’s a great decision on your end, Matt, but this one where he works with me isn’t. That’s something you should seriously reconsider, Ronan shouldn’t be the commissioner, Ronan shouldn’t be working with me, Ronan should worry strictly about in ring competition.

Ronan Malosi: Now, hold on a minute-

(Everyone’s head turns to the stage in confusion as “Mayonaka No Door/Stay With Me” by Miki Matsubara, prompting SHOHEI to march down to the ring with a microphone in hand.)

James Peters: Well, this is certainly unexpected, I’m confused as to what SHOHEI is doing out here.

Persephone: Yeah, this didn’t really concern him.

Rich Russillo: But based off his body language, I don’t think he’s made a mistake coming out here.

(SHOHEI slides in the ring, and stands in between Ronan and Captain Charisma, starting to speak into the microphone.)

SHOHEI: I’m sorry to interrupt, but last week, I had the opportunity to showcase myself, and what I’m capable of against that same man Ronan just got done with.

Ronan Malosi: Your point is?

SHOHEI: My point is as a newcomer in EAW, I want to do more than that, and if there’s one way to make an impact around here, it’s by stepping up, and taking matters into your own hands instead of sitting around, waiting for an opportunity to come.

(Ronan simply rolls his eyes, wanting SHOHEI to get to the point as to why he’s out here.)

SHOHEI: So, with that said, Ronan, I’m challenging you to a match.

(Ronan’s clearly caught off guard by this as SHOHEI gets in his face, staring him down. Malosi’s smug demeanor returns as he looks down at SHOHEI.)

Ronan Malosi: This is all some elaborate joke, right? You’re not actually out here to challenge me, you just made the wrong turn for catering. Look, if you turn back, and make a righ-

SHOHEI: Look into my eyes, do I look like I’m joking?

Ronan Malosi: You look like a joke.

SHOHEI: Ronan, you and I both know, the only joke in this ring is you.

(The crowd goes “ooh,” feeling as if SHOHEI just burnt Ronan there. Malosi’s clearly growing irritated, but reels himself back in.)

Ronan Malosi: Listen, kid, you tried picking a fight with me before, and look how that worked out for ya. I told you on social media, you’re just not worth my time. In fact, you still aren’t worth my time. Maybe one day, so as right now, you need to get out my ring, because before you interrupted, the grown ups were talking.

Captain Charisma:  Ya know, Ronan, when Ryan Wilson was general manager of Showdown, I don’t recall him ever backing away from a challenge.

(Ronan lowers his head, reaching peak frustration with the whole ordeal.)

Crowd: You’re a coward! 👏 You’re a coward! 👏 You’re a coward! 👏

(Thanks to the comment from Captain Charisma, and chanting from the crowd, Ronan snaps, and issues a rebuttal.)

Ronan Malosi: Alright, alright! Enough with the stupid chanting! You want a match with me? I’ll give you exactly that. Challenge accepted, you little punk!

(The crowd roars as both Ronan, and SHOHEI stare one another down in the center of the ring, Malosi having gotten goaded into this match. With their attention diverted to one another, Captain Charisma and Eden Sinclair exit the ring, Eden’s still not over the idea of partnering with Ronan, and talks CC’s ear off about it as they head to the back. From there, the camera fades into a commercial break.)

(Commercial break for the Tennessee Volunteers! See the football team react to salty Alabama fans and get a good laugh over it!)

(Voltage returns and the camera opens to see a smiling Sofia Clarke sitting in a chair inside of the ring.)

Sofia Clarke: Ladies and gentleman not too long ago we heard the news of the return of the Specialists Chamber. We also heard the news of a qualifying match taking place at Wicked Games. Please welcome my guests at this time participating in that match…..Kylie Grace, Haruka Kashimashi, and Halsey Neel!

(The camera zooms out to see the three of them sitting next to Sofia.)

Sofia Clarke: Thank you all for taking the time to join me. As we know, one of you is going to Road to Redemption to compete in the Specialists Chamber –

Halsey Neel: We all know she’s talking about me so why don’t we just cut to the chase and just give me the spot.

Haruka and Kylie: :skip:

Kylie Grace: Yeah I don’t think so.

Haruka Kashimashi: No, neither of you want this opportunity as much as I do.

(All three of them inaudibly argue before Sofia clears her throat.)

Sofia Clarke: Guys, as I was saying, one of you will compete in the Chamber. Haruka I’ll start with you, what does this opportunity mean to you to potentially compete in the Specialists Chamber?

Haruka Kashimashi: It means a lot to me, I want it more than you can imagine. Everybody knows that it’s been a goal of mine to turn my career around and this I see is the perfect opportunity. The Chamber match has made many careers and has produced several memorable moments. I think of the many names who made an impact in this match over the years like past winners such as Andrea Valentine and the late great Brody Sparks, and I want to be the next one to add my name to that list. All it takes is one match and one chance and the Chamber is the perfect spot. I want this opportunity more than anything and I’ll do whatever it takes to make it a reality.

Sofia Clarke: And you Kylie?

Kylie Grace: Well, I’m just as shocked as everybody else when they brought this match back. I’ve had, I think it’s fair to say, quite a rocky road in my short career so far, but I will never be one to turn down an opportunity, especially of this magnitude. It’s an opportunity I didn’t really expect to see so soon, but you can bet that I’m grateful for it and I plan on bringing my very best at Wicked Games. But don’t let something silly like “I’m just happy to be there” get in either one of your heads, because while I am grateful, I know just how much it’s worth, and I will go to any means necessary to make sure I punch my ticket to Road to Redemption.

Sofia Clarke: And you Halsey?

Halsey Neel: Well it’s quite simple, I’m out to right the wrong of the last time I was in a Specialists Contenders match. I came up short and almost every one of my opponents made sure to remind me of it. All season long I have shown just how bright of a future I have, and I just keep going back to that moment. I’ve grown in that short amount of time and I’m ready to prove it and to take that next step in my career, and that’s walking into Road to Redemption and becoming the brand new Specialists Champion. A girl who’s just happy to be here and a girl who just isn’t good enough will not stand in my way of that goal.

Sofia Clarke: Next weekend, a huge match for the Specialists Championship will be taking place. The reigning champion, Serenity Valdez, will be defending against Milli Banks. Do the three of you have a preference of who you would rather face if you were to walk out of Wicked Games victorious?

Kylie Grace: It really doesn’t really matter to me. No matter who it is, we’re all going to be in an absolute war. To answer the question though, if I were to get that far as to qualify for the Chamber, I wouldn’t mind facing either of them because they’re both extremely talented in what they do and have shown they deserve to be champion. It’s going to be a really great match between the two of them and whoever walks in the champion at Road to Redemption deserves it, but I will do everything in my power to try and show that I deserve it just a little bit more than they do. I’m the wildcard underdog in all of this, but it’s a role I have no problem playing and I aim to shock the world.

Halsey Neel: That’s your problem, you’re just too nice and innocent. You try and you try and you’re just going to keep failing because you’re not good enough. A match like this you just aren’t ready for. Can anybody imagine Kylie Grace in a Chamber match? You would get absolutely exposed much like I’m gonna do to you at Wicked Games.

Haruka Kashimashi: Maybe she’s not, but I for sure am up and ready to take on that challenge. Kylie said it best though, because it doesn’t matter who walks in as Champion, they are going to meet the same exact fate which is losing the Specialists Championship to me. I don’t know who it is, but be aware that I will do my best to be prepared for either outcome of the title match. I’ll be ready for them, but most importantly, both of them better prepare for me and what I plan on bringing to the table at Road to Redemption, and both Halsey and Kylie get a sneak preview of it at Wicked Games.

Kylie Grace: I really look forward to the challenge Haru –

Halsey Neel: Oh enough. Both of you don’t stand a chance inside the Chamber, and most importantly neither of you stand a chance against me at Wicked Games. Both of you should not be worrying about any of this because I’m obviously the only woman who has what it takes to win the triple threat, let alone have a chance against Serenity or Milli. You’re both weak minded and simply don’t have what it takes like I do. But yeah Sofia, I don’t care in the slightest who walks in as Champion, because all roads lead to me holding the Specialists Championship high above my head when Road to Redemption concludes. Either Serenity’s reign will finally end at my hands, or Milli’s reign will be short lived, and I like both of those scenarios.

Haruka Kashimashi: Do you hear yourself Halsey? You’re talking like you have this triple threat already in the bag, forgetting just how dangerous Kylie and I are. You are getting way ahead of yourself talking about reign scenarios you’re going to end when in reality you aren’t even going to make it past the triple threat and do what you do best; talk a big game and then squander another opportunity.

Halsey Neel: I already said it. You and Kylie are both weak minded people. You both just sit there and spew garbage about how you hope you can qualify for the Chamber and do the best you can. Me on the other hand, I KNOW I am going to win this triple threat because I know I’m better than both of you and because of the simple fact that neither of you want this as much as I do. And most importantly, I know I’m championship material unlike you two. I’ve been waiting for another chance to get a crack at the title, and the last thing I will do is let either one of you be the ones to stand in my way. I flat out refuse to watch Haruka Kashimashi or Kylie Grace take my rightful spot in the Chamber, it’s not happening.

Haruka Kashimashi: It’s happening, and hey, who’s to even say that you’re even going to make it to Wicked Games?

(Sofia gets out of dodge as Haruka and Halsey come face to face, before Kylie gets in between them.)

Kylie Grace: Let’s all think before we do something we regret. We all want everybody to make it in one piece to Wicked Games because none of us want any excuses for when the match is over. Also, you two seem to also be forgetting that I’m in this match too. Let me remind you guys to watch out for Kylie Grace because I’m always going to be on my A-game no matter what, and I will be and then some at Wicked Games…and I just might surprise you guys.

Halsey Neel: I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Kylie Grace: Let me remind everybody I hold a victory over you already.

(Halsey gets in Kylie’s face before backing up.)

Halsey Neel: There’s no Kenn Kenn to bail you out this time. We all know who the best of all three of us are, and she will walk out victorious.

Haruka Kashimashi: I will.

Kylie Grace: Not if I have anything to say about it.

(The camera sees them all staring at one another, before Halsey slowly backs out of the ring as Haruka and Kylie exchange glances. The camera takes a final shot of the ring before Voltage fades to a break.)

(A promotional ad for No Regards airs showcasing the match that will pit the Answers World Champion, Impact, and Kassidy Heart against Jack Ripley and Alex Myers. Not only will Impact’s title be on the line, Hurricane Hawk’s job will be as well! Watch the Showdown exclusive event live on Disney+ on October 29th, 2022!)

(The camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the ring.)

Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR…ONE FALL!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!

(“Mayonaka No Door/Stay With Me” by Miki Matsubara plays out SHOHEI, who marches straight down to the ring, focused on his match tonight with Kenn Kenn. This is his second match in EAW, and the last thing he wants is to be off his game when he has the opportunity to rise further up the ranks.)

Bella Braxton: Introducing first! Hailing out of Sendai, Japan, weighing in at 195 pounds…SHOHEI!!!

James Peters: As we saw last week, SHOHEI comes to the ring with a focus about him, showing that when it comes to the ring, he’s all business.

Rich Russillo: I can respect that, I can also respect a competitor who doesn’t wait around for an opportunity, but goes out, and takes it.

James Peters: That’s what he did earlier tonight, will he able to seize another opportunity against Kenn Kenn?

(‘Sweetest Pie’ by Megan Thee Stallion & Dua Lipa plays to a loud reaction from fans as Kenn Kenn makes his way down to the ring, waving, and blowing kisses while SHOHEI preps himself in the ring.)

Bella Braxton: And his opponent! Hailing out of Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 120 pounds…KENN KENN!!

Rich Russillo: Two fan favorites set to square off, I imagine the people of South Africa will have a hard time choosing who to root for.

Persephone: Why not both?

James Peters: Guess you’re right on that.

Rich Russillo: We didn’t see Kenn Kenn last week, but we see him this week, and he has an opportunity to ruin this hype about SHOHEI, and bring the attention on himself.

(Both competitors stare each other down from opposite corners.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

James Peters: The crowd is buzzing for this match between SHOHEI, and Kenn Kenn, both competitors prepping to square off as they circle one another.

Rich Russillo: It’s crazy just how fast these two have earnt the affection of the crowd, especially SHOHEI, who just debuted for the Voltage brand last week. But he showed some serious heart in that match with Alex, earlier tonight, he also showed some serious guts. Challenging Ronan Malosi to a match.

Persephone: Don’t forget, he outsmarted him too, although when it comes to Ronan, that isn- is a very hard task to do! Props to this newcomer!

James Peters:  Directing ourselves back to the action, both competitors engage in a collar and elbow tie-up, center of the ring. SHOHEI gets the early advantage with a standing side headlock, transitioning into a side headlock takedown afterward. SHOHEI tightens his hold on Kenn Kenn, who escapes with a headscissors, forcing SHOHEI to kick out of it.

Rich Russillo: Both men scramble back to their feet, staring each other down before engaging in another collar and elbow tie-up. This time, Kenn Kenn has the advantage with a standing side headlock, which he turns into a takedown. Following the same course of action as his opponent.

James Peters: After Kenn Kenn maintains control for a while over SHOHEI, “The Spider” powers back to his feet, and backs Kenn Kenn up against the corner. The referee gives Kenn Kenn five seconds to break the side headlock he still has tacked on.

Referee: ONE! TWO!

Rich Russillo: Kenn Kenn does, simultaneously switching places with SHOHEI, pinning him up against the corner now for a KNIFE EDGE CHOP THAT ECHOES THROUGHOUT THE ARENA! Kenn Kenn isn’t done yet, landing a forearm shot on SHOHEI also before Irish whipping him to the opposite corner! KENN KENN CHARGES IN-

James Peters: SHOHEI gets the boot up, staggering his opponent back a bit. AND HE TAKES KENN KENN DOWN WITH A RUNNING CLOTHESLINE! Although, momentarily as Kenn Kenn is back up, still dazed, however. SHOHEI leans him up against the ropes, and rebounds him off for a snap overhead belly-to-belly!

Persephone: The elevation! 🫢

Rich Russillo: Kenn Kenn favors the back while using the ropes to pull himself back up. SHOHEI runs with a full head of steam, sending his opponent up and over the top rope with a clothesline! Kenn Kenn has been wiped out ringside! Meaning: the referee’s ten count begins.

Referee: ONE! TWO!

James Peters: Kenn Kenn starts the stir, and gets to a knee, using the apron for assistance. In the ring, wheels are starting to turn in SHOHEI’s head, who’s watching Kenn Kenn closely, using the time he was outside to catch his breath.

Rich Russillo: Kenn Kenn’s up on the apron, and SHOHEI’s there to meet him, SUPLEXING KENN KENN OVER THE TOP ROPE, AND INTO THE RING! SHOHEI hooks the leg for a cover!

ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: Kickout by Kenn Kenn!

Persephone: Man, I thought the suplex really had him!

James Peters: Both competitors get back to their feet, same time, but SHOHEI continues mounting momentum over Kenn Kenn, striking him with a knife edge chop! Kenn Kenn gets Irish whipped off the ropes, and SHOHEI ducks down, perhaps signaling a back body drop. However, KENN KENN STOPS HIMSELF SHORT OF SHOHEI, SPIKING HIM WITH A DDT!

Rich Russillo: Both men are down, but each start to stir. Kenn Kenn gets to his feet first, and lands a split leg drop to the back of SHOHEI!

James Peters: That was innovative offense performed by Kenn Kenn, who stands SHOHEI up, and does some more straight forward offense now with a forearm smash to the face! SHOHEI returns fire with a barrage of forearm smashes, backing Kenn Kenn up against the ropes for an Irish whip! AND KENN KENN COMES BACK WITH A WHEELBARROW BULLDOG!

Rich Russillo: Kenn Kenn uses the ropes to pull himself back up, meanwhile, SHOHEI gets to a knee. Kenn Kenn approaches, grabbing hold of him, BUT SHOHEI BREAKS OUT OF IT, AND GOES FOR THE YARE YARE DAZE! BUT KENN KENN DUCKS UNDERNEATH THE ROUNDHOUSE KICK, AND DROPS SHOHEI PRONE WITH ONE OF HIS OWN!

James Peters: Kenn Kenn drops to a knee, probably realizing how close he just was to having his lights out out. But Kenn Kenn shoots the half on SHOHEI for a cover!

ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: SHOHEI kicks out! Kenn Kenn simply shakes his head, and picks SHOHEI back up, placing him in the corner for some knife edge chops, reminiscent of earlier! SHOHEI fights back with a forearm smash, but that only seems to fire up Kenn Kenn, who answers back with multiple forearm smashes of his own!

James Peters: Strong Irish whip to the opposite corner by Kenn Kenn, AND KENN KENN RUNS IN BUT SHOHEI MANAGES TO GET THE BOOT UP!!! SHOHEI NOW WITH A SHOOT KICK TO THE MIDSECTION BEFORE LIGHTING KENN KENN UP WITH STRIKES TO THE MIDSECTION, AND NOW SHOHEI RUNS THE ROPES!!!

Rich Russillo: KENN KENN JUMPS OVER SHOHEI THOUGH, PULLING HIM DOWN FOR A SUNSET FLIP PIN!!!!

ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: Again, SHOHEI manages to kick out! Kenn Kenn quickly gets up brings him back to a vertical base, and leans him up against the ropes for an Irish whip! Kenn Kenn ducks down, maybe signaling for a back body drop, but this time it’s SHOHEI taking advantage of these quick pins as he pulls Kenn Kenn down into a small package!

ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHH-

James Peters: Both competitors scramble back to their feet, and Kenn Kenn tries taking SHOHEI down with a clothesline, but he ducks underneath that, BEFORE DROPPING KENN KENN WITH A HEADBUTT, WHICH CLEARLY TOOK A BIT OUT OF SHOHEI AS HE DROPS TO A KNEE!!! These two have taken a good amount out of each other, but from the looks of it they’re not done just yet, even after all they’ve already done to each other!

Rich Russillo: Both competitors rush back to their feet, and KENN KENN SNATCHES THE MOMENTUM AWAY FROM SHOHEI WITH A SINGLE KNEE FACEBREAKER! Kenn Kenn drags SHOHEI closer to the corner, and climbs to the middle rope, back facing his opponent! A usual set up for what we’re about to see.

James Peters: Kenn Kenn starts twerking a bit, taunting before coming off the middle rope with a MOONSAULT! A4D CONNECTS! Kenn Kenn drags SHOHEI to the center of the ring for a co- no! Kenn Kenn, shockingly, doesn’t go for the cover. He has other plans in mind as he stalks SHOHEI, who slowly, but surely gets to his feet.

Rich Russillo: I don’t think he has any idea what awaits him as Kenn Kenn grabs him into an inverted front facelock. SWA- SHOHEI HAD THE MOVE SCOUTED, SHIFTING AROUND, AND PLANTING KENN KENN WITH A NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! SHOHEI ROLLS THROUGH TO HIS FEET, AND DEADLIFTS KENN KENN UP FOR A BRAINBUSTER!

James Peters: That move took some energy out of SHOHEI, who struggles to his feet, but once getting there, drags Kenn Kenn to the corner, and seats him there. SHOHEI stomps him a bit, making sure he stays put.

Persephone: :lupe: We saw him perform this move last week against Aaron Matthews!

James Peters: Alex Matthews.

Persephone: Yes, my mistake!

James Peters: SHOHEI runs to the opposite corner, AND CHARGES INTO KENN KENN WITH FROM ME TO YOU! BIG RUNNING CORNER DROPKICK TO A SEATED OPPONENT! …HOWEVER, NOBODY’S THERE AS KENN KENN GETS OUT OF THE WAY LAST MINUTE!

Rich Russillo: SHOHEI clutches at the back of his head, which slapped off the canvas! Kenn Kenn crawls into the cover, hooking both legs!

ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHRRRRRRR-

James Peters: No! SHOHEI is still in this thing, in such a short time, he’s demonstrated some major resilience. Kenn Kenn drags SHOHEI slightly closer to the corner, and climbs to the middle rope again. I think he’s gonna go for another A4D. It worked for him last time, and as they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Rich Russillo: BUT SHOHEI SCRAMBLES BACK TO HIS FEET, AND SHOVES KENN KENN OUT OVER THE TOP ROPE! Kenn Kenn came close to wiping out ringside, but grabbed hold of the top rope, managing to get back on the apron. But SHOHEI is there to meet him, hammering him with right hands, and he hooks him up for another suplex back into the ring.

James Peters: Kenn Kenn learnt a bit from earlier, and blocks it, hanging on the middle rope. SHOHEI clubs the back of Kenn Kenn, breaking his grip, and hooks him up for another suplex. Look at the aggression coming out of SHOHEI, who’s determined to win this match! BUT KENN KENN SHIFTS THE MOMENTUM, SUPLEXING SHOHEI TO THE OUTSIDE INSTEAD!

Rich Russillo: Kenn Kenn grabbed on to the top rope last minute, which was smart, stopping himself from crashing and burning out there with SHOHEI also. Kenn Kenn catches his breath, and re-enters the ring as SHOHEI slowly comes to on the outside. KENN KENN RUNS OFF THE ROPES, AND SOARS THROUGH THE MIDDLE WITH SUICIDE DI-

James Peters: STEP-UP KNEE STRIKE! SHOHEI USED THE APRON TO STEP ON, AND CAUGHT KENN KENN COMING THROUGH THE MIDDLE WITH A KNEE STRIKE! SHOHEI collapses back down, and Kenn Kenn melts to the outside through the middle rope, looking almost unconscious.

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX!

James Peters: The referee’s at six, but Kenn Kenn slides back into the ring, getting immediately dragged back out by SHOHEI, who grabs hold of his ankle. SHOHEI goes to Irish whip Kenn Kenn into the steel steps, but Kenn Kenn reverses, sending SHOHEI shoulder first into the steps last minute! Kenn Kenn staggers over to SHOHEI, rolling him back into the ring for a cover!

ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THH-

Persephone: Kickout, and Kenn Kenn slows things down with a rear chinlock afterward…

Rich Russillo: I think exhaustion is beginning to set in, especially for SHOHEI, who’s barely showing any fight in that chinlock.

James Peters: You might’ve spoke too soon as SHOHEI powers back to his feet, escaping with a BACK SUPLEX! Again, both competitors are down, and we talked about SHOHEI perhaps being worn down by this match up the most, Kenn Kenn is the first person back to his feet.

Persephone: Meanwhile, SHOHEI is up to a knee. Kenn Kenn grabs hold of him, but gets shoved for his efforts. KENN KENN BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES FOR A- actually, we don’t find out as Kenn Kenn ran right into a drop toe hold from SHOHEI!

James Peters: Kenn Kenn gets up to all fours, favoring his face, which hit hard on the mat. But from behind, here comes SHOHEI, wrapping his arms around the waist… oh my god, he’s deadlifting Kenn Kenn off the mat.

Rich Russillo: Look at the power! Look at the receiving amount of strength shown by SHOHEI AS HE PLANTS KENN KENN WITH A DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX, BRIDGING IT FOR THE COVER!

ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THH-

Rich Russillo: KICKOUT! Both competitors are back to their feet, and Kenn Kenn scores with a knife edge chop! SHOHEI fires back with one of his own! Kenn Kenn returns fire! SHOHEI does the same, hitting a flurry of knife edge chops, backing Kenn Kenn up against the ropes for an Irish whip!

James Peters: SHOHEI goes for a kick to the midsection, Kenn Kenn catches the boot, and trips him down to the canvas. FIGURE 8- SHOHEI kicks him off! Kenn Kenn almost collides with the top turnbuckle, but halts himself last minute. SHOHEI sits up, and Kenn Kenn runs in for a penalty kick!

Rich Russillo: BUT KENN KENN NARROWLY MISSES IT AS SHOHEI LIES FLAT ON THE MAT TO AVOID IT! SCHOOL BOY! WAIT! SHOHEI DOESNT HOLD IT FOR A COVER, AND OPTS TO ROLL KENN KENN THROUGH TO A KNEE!

James Peters: YARE YARE DAZE! SHOHEI JUST CLOCKED KENN KENN WITH THAT ROUNDHOUSE, AND YOU CAN COUNT TO 100! THIS ONE IS OVER AS SHOHEI HOOKS THE LEG!

ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEE!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Bella Braxton: HERES YOUR WINNER…SHOHEI!!

(SHOHEI clutches the back of his head while standing up to have hand raised in victory by the referee. “”Mayonaka No Door/Stay With Me” by Miki Matsubara plays in the background.)

James Peters: Another week, another impressive win for SHOHEI!

Rich Russillo: Hes really opening some eyes around here, and that’ll get him far in the long run!

Persephone: I’ll be shocked if Kenn Kenn can open his eye after that kick!

James Peters: Congratulations to SHOHEI, who once again is proving to be an excellent addition to both Voltage and the EAW roster!

(SHOHEI exits the ring, and backpedals up the ramp, raising his fist in victory as the camera fades elsewhere.)

(Sunday Night Voltage fades to show the backstage area, where the cameras catch the Ice Aces, Usagi Senshi and Ayu Megumi, seated in their locker room. They’re already in their ring gear, preparing themselves for their tag match later on in the night, before the door to the room opens slowly, as the third member of the Ice Aces, ARIA, slowly popped her head in with a small smile on her face. She quickly entered, seemingly in a surprisingly good mood.)

ARIA: Hey hey! Are all of you ready for the match tonight?

(Usagi and Ayu stay in silence, not saying anything, as ARIA stands there confused for a moment before speaking up.)

ARIA: Right, right, I understand. The two of you are concentrated, but wow, I still can’t stop talking about how much fun we had at Usagi’s birthday party. The gigantic cake, the pizzas, the inflatable castle, and Pandy the Panda! Wow, Pandy was so amazing…too bad we lost him to the ball pit.

(ARIA tried cheering up Ayu and Usagi, but they were clearly not in a very good mood, as the smile on ARIA’s face slowly started disappearing.)

ARIA: Alright, ok, maybe talking about Pandy the Panda wasn’t the best idea, although after the party was over I took a quick glance and I was sure he came out of the ball pit just fine. But all of the sudden, his head came off too! I think he might not have been a real panda in the first place-

Ayu Megumi: ARIA-Chan, I appreciate your attempts at trying to cheer us up, but they aren’t really working.

ARIA: Ok, yeah, I at least wanted to try somewhat.

(It was obvious why the Ice Aces were unhappy, and that was after what happened with Candice Blair last week. Things just continued to get worse for them in terms of this situation, they were very annoyed and it could be seen clearly on their faces. Ayu let out a small sigh and she slowly spoke up.)

Ayu Megumi: Do you think Eden Sinclair will ever leave us alone?

ARIA: Not going to lie, after we revealed her whole evil plan and both you and Usagi kicked her square in the face, I am pretty sure she won’t stop until she sees us burn in heck. So no, I am not sure she will leave us alone. The ways that we have to deal with her are little and very rare to find at the moment.

Ayu Megumi: Don’t you think we should go to Captain Charisma and tell him to do something about this?

ARIA: That would have been our first option as soon as she tried to screw with us in the first place, but it is not that easy. I am fully confident Eden won’t leave us alone unless she…you know…disappears. And no, I don’t mean she fully disappears, still alive, just that she disappears from this brand exactly and never comes back- She loses her job, basically. And considering Disney is still here, and it was by Disney’s choice that she is the representative of Voltage and she works with Captain Charisma… he won’t be able to get rid of her without dealing with Disney too. So I am sure his hands are tied in that situation.

Ayu Megumi: Aren’t there any other ways we can deal with her?

ARIA: Well…there are the less than practical ways…and the less than legal ways, but I recommend we don’t go that far to those ways.

(ARIA and Ayu begin discussing between each other, hoping to see if they could find something that worked. Meanwhile, Usagi simply sat there in silence, taking it all in, before she finally spoke up with a cold tone in her voice.)

Usagi Senshi: I want Candice Blair’s blood on my hands.

(ARIA and Ayu stop talking as Usagi says that. It could be seen on her face how angry she was, clearly the most pissed out of the three of them. She ends up getting up to her feet, and begins speaking to them.)

Usagi Senshi: I am sick of everyone making fun of us, I am sick of them taking advantage of us, sick of Eden thinking she owns the entire place here, sick of everyone thinking they know who we are, sick of everyone making fun of my relationship and everyone targeting my girlfriend. Do people think I won’t get angry when a plastic faced lying piece of crap like Candice Blair attacks my girlfriend? By this point, I start to wonder if it was even a good idea for us to have put our relationship out in the public in the first place, because after Pain for Pride we have been the targets of bullies, and I have constantly been accused of being an abuser when all I have done is grow a lot more serious with Ayu. I have been focused on helping her grow into a better competitor, I have been trying to help her, and people think I am only hurting her? I am just…tired of continuing to be accused of something I am not.

ARIA: Yeah, I am not too surprised about that. Cancel Culture has become prominent the past few years. I thought it was just other people helping to get rid of bad people on the internet the first time I got on social media, turns out…uhhhh, it really wasn’t that.

Ayu Megumi: Well, it does have Cancel in the name after all.

ARIA: I tried to be hopeful the first time around!

(Usagi’s anger slowly started to dissipate as a worried expression began to show on her face. Ayu calmly walked over and put a hand on her cheek, as she turned her head to look her in the eyes and Ayu tried her best to put up a smile.)

Ayu Megumi: It is ok Usagi, I can understand you. I can understand your own pain because I suffered through it as well. People are just trying to get to you and make matters worse than they are; but what truly matters is that ARIA believes in you, I believe in you… and we believe in ourselves.

(Usagi stood there in silence, taking those words in, as she turned slowly towards ARIA. She gave her a smile as well and a nod in response. She turned back to Ayu as her own smile grew a bit more.)

Ayu Megumi: And what matters too is that I still love you, Usagi.

(Just as Ayu says that, a small smile appears on Usagi’s face and she slowly responds.)

Usagi Senshi: And I love you as well, Ayu.

(The two stared at each other’s eyes for a few seconds, enjoying this precious moment as best as they could…but it was sadly interrupted by someone else.)

???: Heeeeellooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

(The whole mood inside of the locker room instantly switches as they hear that familiar voice. They quickly turned towards the opened door and the person there was obviously Candice Blair, as she quickly waved at them with a bright smile on her face.)

Candice Blair: Good to see the three of you again! How are all of you? Better than last time I assume? 😄

(The three of the Ice Aces don’t even respond to Candice’s question as they simply give her a death glare, Candice turns confused for a moment before she ends up shrugging.)

Candice Blair: Tough crowd huh? I guess not then. Anyway, I couldn’t avoid hearing what all of you were saying, and with me being the ✨️ activist ✨️ that I am at heart and now the Face of Disney 😍, I want to take a little bit of time away for you and take the chance to talk about Usagi…and her abuse.

(The mood in the room only gets worse, as Ayu and ARIA only get more annoyed hearing that from Candice. Usagi obviously gets angry after hearing that.)

Usagi Senshi: What?

Candice Blair: Oh, you heard me right! It has been worrying watching from afar, seeing how you’ve treated your girlfriend the past few months after what happened at Pain for Pride. Ayu was so happy before, she was such a ray of sunlight, a bright sunflower in the field, but then you ended up turning her…into you 🥀. A machine without any heart who doesn’t care about anything or anybody else, and seriously, I can’t even imagine how ARIA must feel being stuck in the middle between all of that. It is a miracle she hasn’t turned into you two as well. Usagi, you have treated Ayu terribly and have blamed her for your failures, it is nobody’s fault but your own that you are seen as an abuser. 😠

Usagi Senshi: …So that is how it is going to be, huh? You cost us last week like the coward you are, and instead of owning up to it, you go directly to my face to tell me THAT?!

(Things seriously start to get heated as Usagi gets up to Candice’s face for a moment, but ARIA and Ayu quickly hold Usagi back from going after Candice. Candice can only put on a disappointed expression as she slowly shakes her head.)

Candice Blair: 😔 Wow, what a shame. It seems that you need anger management as well, because seriously, your temper is an issue.

ARIA: Look, Candice, what do you even want? Did you just come to annoy us?

Candice Blair: In reality, no, I actually have an announcement for the three of you. You all know that you have a triple threat match at Wicked Games right? Well, surpriseee! 🤗 I will be the special guest referee for the match!

(The Ice Aces stand there shocked when hearing that announcement, things just seemed to get worse as the weeks went on, and now they had to deal with Candice being the special guest referee?)

Candice Blair: Don’t worry, I will referee the match right down the middle, well, two middles since there are three people. And yes, I will make sure as well Usagi doesn’t use the match as an excuse to batter Ayu. 😵‍💫

(That only angers Usagi even more as ARIA and Ayu really give it their all to hold Usagi back, Candice only keeping up her smile when seeing that.)

Candice Blair: Well, I have to make my leave! Good luck on your match later tonight, byeeeee! 😄

(Candice waved goodbye in response and turned, leaving the locker room. The Ice Aces, especially Usagi, are furious over the news. Usagi can only grit her teeth and try her best to calm down, as she grabs the door and then slams it shut with all of her force, with Voltage fading away from backstage a few seconds after that happened.)

(Voltage returns to ringside, where Bella Braxton is seen holding a microphone.)

Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!

(“Primrose” by Dream State plays as the crowd gives a mixed reaction, with many fans cheering and clapping loudly as Daryl Kinkade walks out from behind the curtain. He scans around the arena before taking a deep breath and making his way down to the ring, nothing but focus on his face as he gets ready for this match.)

Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM NORWICH, ENGLAND…WEIGHING IN AT 225 POUNDS…..HE IS “THE KINK OF ELITE”…DAARRYYLLL KIINNKKADDEEEEE!!!!

James Peters: Here comes a man on a mission to get a win in the books after coming up short last week.

Rich Russillo: Gotta wonder if he has eyes at the back of his head after getting payback on Ronan last week. Ronan has costed him matches before in the past.

(“W-B-X ~W-Boiled Extreme~” by Aya Kamiki [Feat. TAKUYA] plays as the crowd gives Haruka Kashimashi a warm welcome as she walks out. Much like Daryl, she is focused on the task at hand, and she also interacts with some fans on her way to the ring.)

Bella Braxton: AND HIS OPPONENT….FROM SAPPORO, HOKKAIDO…WEIGHING IN AT 128 POUNDS….SHE IS “THE PRODIGIOUS VALKYRIE”….HAARRUKKKKAAA KAASSSHHIIIMASSHHIIIII!!!

Rich Russillo: And here comes another competitor looking to build some momentum for herself going into Wicked Games and her Specialists Chamber qualifying match. We heard her earlier tonight letting her opponents know that she will do whatever it takes to win, and we’ll see if she can get it done tonight.

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

James Peters: And here we go as both Daryl and Haruka step out from their corners and then lock up in the center of the ring. Daryl gets her in a side headlock, but only for a moment as she runs and tosses him into the ropes, she drops down as Daryl leaps over and runs off the opposite ropes, only for Haruka to deliver an arm drag! Daryl pulls himself up in the corner quickly and here comes Haruka with a full head of steam – AND SHE DRIVES BOTH KNEES INTO THE CHEST! FOLLOWED BY A MONKEY FLIP – BUT HOLD UP!!

Rich Russillo: Daryl just landed on his feet somehow! And then Daryl goes for a superkick….BUT HARUKA CATCHES THE FOOT AND SPINS HIM AROUND, ONLY FOR DARYL TO TRANSITION INTO A DOUBLE LEG LARIAT TAKING DOWN HARUKA! Daryl looks to keep the momentum going as he picks Haruka up from the front, but Haruka fights back and hits a European uppercut to the jaw driving Daryl back a few feet, and Daryl approaches her once more….BUT HARUKA TAKES HIM DOWN AND APPLIES THE CROSSFACE SUBMISSION!! Daryl tries to reach out for the ropes… BEFORE FLIPPING THE PRESSURE INTO A PIN!!

OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Persephone: And Haruka had to let go of the submission to save herself there as they both race back up to their feet, as Daryl goes for the clothesline, but Haruka ducks it and the springboards off of the second rope….THE SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK TAKES HIM DOWN BEFORE HE STANDS BACK UP, AND THE. HARUKA DELIVERS SEVERAL PALM STRIKES TO THE CHEST AND KICKS TO THE LOWER BODY!! Haruka looks to be in complete control now as she runs off the ropes and delivers a running elbow!

James Peters: Daryl uses his ring awareness and rolls out of the ring, BUT AS HE TURNS AROUND HARUKA TAKES HIM OUT WITH A TOPE CON HILO!! Haruka is feeling pumped up now with all of the momentum. Haruka tosses him back inside before climbing up the apron and ascending up to the top rope… AND THEN SHE GOES FOR A DIVING ELBOW DROP RIGHT TO THE HEART!! BUT NOBODY HOME AS DARYL MOVES AT THE LAST SECOND!! Daryl immediately looks to go on the attack now as he runs off off the ropes and delivers a shining wizard to the back of the head before flipping her over for the cover!!

OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Rich Russillo: And Haruka gets her shoulder up as Daryl picks her up looking to stay on the attack and he goes for a suplex, but she slips out from behind Daryl and then delivers a jumping neckbreaker buying herself some valuable time as she runs off the ropes, and she looks to go for a shining wizard of her own, but Daryl catches her foot and drops her on her back, AND THEN DARYL USES BOTH HER LEGS AND SLINGSHOTS HER INTO THE CORNER! HARUKA WAS OVERSHOT SND SHE HIT THE VERY TOP OF RING POST!

James Peters: Haruka is a sitting duck in the corner, AND DARYL RUNS UP BEHIND HER AND HOOKS BOTH OF THE ARMS – A TIGER SUPLEX DROPPING HARUKA ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD!! Momentum is starting to build up for Daryl now as he measures Haruka waiting for her to stand up…AND DARYL WITH A JUMPING REVERSE STO PLANTING HARUKA!! AND THEN DARYL GOES FOR ANOTHER COVER!

OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

James Peters: And Haruka kicks out again – BUT LOOK!! DARYL IMMEDIATELY GRABS HER ARM AND TRANSITIONS INTO “CATCH 22”!!! THE FUJIWARA ARMBAR IS LOCKED IN ON HARUKA AS SHE IS LIKE A FISH OUT OF WATER TRYING TO FIND A WAY OUT OF THIS!! Haruka then stretches her lower body….can she get there?….AND SHE DOES! HARUKA GETS HER FOOT ON THE ROPE AND THE REFEREE STEPS IN TO FORCE THE BREAK!

Persephone: Daryl right away pulls her by the arm back to the middle of the ring, BUT HARUKA THIS TIME HAS HER FINGERS LOCKED, AND THEN HITS A LEG SWEEP DROPPING DARYL! Haruka is quickly on her feet – AND THEN DRIVES BOTH FEET INTO THE CHEST OF DARYL WITH A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP! Haruka now tries to shake her arm and trying to get some movement in it before approaching Daryl who is on one knee, AND THEN HARUKA GRABS HIS HEAD AND REPEATEDLY DRIVES HER KNEE INTO HIS HEAD! Daryl might not have a clue on where he is right now.

James Peters: Haruka shakes some cobwebs out before making her way over to the corner and she goes up top for the second time…AND SHE GOES FOR A CORKSCREW MOONSAULT, AND IT CONNECTS!!! PICTURE PERFECT THERE AS HARUKA HOOKS THE LEG!!

OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEE!!

Rich Russillo: BUT DARYL GETS HIS SHOULDER UP!! And Haruka has that look on her face as she right away goes to hook the arms of Daryl going for her “Tiebreaker” submission!! But Daryl isn’t making it easy throwing several elbows and he manages to break free of her grip! Daryl tries balancing himself against the ropes BUT HERE COMES HARUKA AGAIN CHARGING FULL SPEED – BUT DARYL COUNTERS WITH A BACK BODY DROP SENDING HER OVER THE TOP ROPE!!

James Peters: BUT HARUKA HELD ONTO THE APRON! Daryl is unaware of this as he turns around, AND WALKS RIGHT INTO A STIFF FOREARM SHOT TO THE FACE THAT DROPS HIM TO A KNEE! Haruka is measuring him up from the APRON, AND THEN SHE SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE TOP ROPE – OH MY GOD!!! A SUPERKICK TO THE FACE IN MID AIR FROM DARYL!! That caught Haruka literally out of nowhere as both her and Daryl are down again. After a few moments both begin to stir to their feet, and then Haruka goes for a roundhouse kick to the side of the head, BUT DARYL DUCK IT AND LEAPS UP AND DELIVERS A DDT SPIKING HARUKA’S HEAD INTO THE MAT! He doesn’t stop there though as he now goes to the corner and begins to climb up top….AND HE DELIVERS A FROG SPLASH RIGHT ON TOP OF HER AS HE GOES FOR ANOTHER COVER!!

OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: AND HARUKA STAYS ALIVE GETTING HER SHOULDER UP!! And Daryl has that look on his face knowing exactly what he has to do in order to put this match away. He picks her up and gets her in position for “A Beautiful Lie”, he’s got the leg crossed – BUT HARUKA FIGHT BACK BY SPINNING OUT OF IT AND THEN PULLS DARYL IN FOR A RIPCORD KNEE STRIKE TO THE FACE!! Both are down now but not for long as Haruka pulls herself back up and eyes Daryl in the corner….AND HERE SHE COMES!!

Persephone: BUT DARYL STOPS HER DEAD IN HER TRACKS WITH AN ELBOW SHOT TO THE FACE!! Daryl springboards off of the second rope and then takes her out with a crossbody! Daryl has all of the momentum in his favor now as Haruka turns around to face him and he grabs ahold of her head, THE HEADLOCK DRIVER DRIVES HARUKA HEAD FIRST INTO THE MAT AS DARYL GOES FOR ANOTHER COVER HERE!!

OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEE!!!!

James Peters: AND HARUKA STAYS ALIVE AGAIN!!! Daryl now slowly picks her up off the mat, but before he can do anything, Haruka slaps the hands away and then drives Daryl back into the corner, and Haruka begins delivering several body shots in the corner to the upper and lower body while he tries his best to cover up. The referee is forced to step in to create a little bit of separation here.

Rich Russillo: But not for too long as Haruka approaches Daryl in the corner, BUT DARYL SWITCHES PLACES WITH HER AND NOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED WITH HIM DELIVERING SEVERAL UPPERCUTS TO THE JAW! Daryl looks to take advantage here as he places Haruka on the toprope. He goes up top with her…but before we could know what he had in mind, Haruka battles back as they exchange shots with one another on the top trying to gain control over the other and man this is a dangerous spot. AND OH! A ROUNDHOUSE KICK FOLLOWED BY A HEADBUTT FROM HARUKA BEFORE….THE SUNSET FLIP BOMB FROM THE TOP ROPE AS DARYL LANDS HARD ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! THE COVER AGAIN FROM HARUKA!!

OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEE!!

James Peters: AND DARYL JUST KICKED OUT AT THE LAST SECOND! WOW! He holds his head in uncomfortable pain from how he just landed on his head as Haruka rolls away and then pulls herself up in the corner, and I think Haruka may be looking to put this one away as she rolls underneath the bottom rope and is pretty much stalking Daryl now just lying in wait just begging him to get to his feet. He finally does, and then Haruka – HARUKA GOES FOR “CYCLONE DECAPITATION!!” AND IT CONNECTS ALMOST TAKING DARYL’S HEAD CLEAN OFF HIS BODY, AND HARUKA QUICKLY GOES FOR ANOTHER COVER!!

OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEE!!!

Persephone: AND DARYL KICKS OUT AGAIN!!! Haruka might be showing a little but of frustration on her face but she doesn’t let it phase her as she stalks Daryl from behind as he begins to stir back to his feet, AND THEN HARUKA RUNS UP BEHIND HIM AND GOES FOR “ESPERANZA!!!” BUT NO!!! DARYL CATCHES HER AND THEN DRILLS HER WITH A POWERSLAM BUYING HIMSELF SOME VALUABLE TIME TO RECUPERATE A LITTLE BIT!

Rich Russillo: Both of them begin to stir to their feet and then turn around to face the other, and they both begin exchanging shots back and forth trying to get the upper hand…A HUGE UPPERCUT FROM DARYL!! AND THEN HARUKA RETALIATES WITH A ENZIGURI KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD THAT DRIVES DARYL BACK INTO THE CORNER!! Daryl looks like he doesn’t have a clue on where he is. And then Haruka – HARUKA GOES FOR “PAPER PLANE”, THE CARTWHEEL BACK ELBOW…BUT DARYL MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! AND NOW – HE SETS HER UP! “HAIL TO THE VICTOR!!!” THE PUMPHANDLE PILEDRIVER AS DARYL FLIPS HER OVER AND GOES FOR THE COVER!!! DARYL’S GOT IT! HE’S GOT IT!!

OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEE
EEEE!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEE!!!

James Peters: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Haruka survives it as she gets the shoulder up at the last possible moment! AND LOOK!! DARYL TRIES GOING “FOR THE KINK”!!!! HE IS TRYING TO LOCK IT IN BUT HARUKA IS FIGHTING WITH EVERYTHING SHE’S GOT TO PREVENT IT! And finally Haruka manages to escape the grip of Daryl and roll away. Daryl is right on her tail though and grabs her by the feet to drag her back to the center of the ring – AND HARUKA CATCHES DARYL WITH A SMALL PACKAGE PIN!! SHE’S GOT IT!!

OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEE!!!

James Peters: DID SHE GET HIM?! No it was only two and a half as both of them race to their feet, AND THEN RUN INTO A DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE ON ONE ANOTHER AS BOTH OF THEM ARE DOWN ONCE AGAIN! Both making the other earn every inch. A great battle between two warriors of the Voltage brand, and right now it’s a battle of who wants it more.

Persephone: HARUKA STANDS AND CHARGES AT DARYL, BUT DARYL COUNTERS WITH A REVERSE STO PLANTING HARUKA. AND UH OH! HE TRANSITIONS INTO HIS “CATCH 22!!!” THE BRIDGING FUJIWARA ARMBAR IS LOCKED IN ON HARUKA AS SHE SCREAMS OUT IN PAIN NOT WANTING TO TAP OUT!! She may not want to tap, but she may have no other option here as she looks stuck! HARUKA THOUGH IS SHAKING HER HEAD NO REFUSING TO GIVE UP, AND SHE DRAGS HERSELF CLOSER TO THAT BOTTOM ROPE, AND SHE REACHES OUT ONLY A FEW INCHES AWAY – AND SHE LUNGES AND GRABS IT!!! The heart and resilience on full display there from Haruka as Daryl is forced to let go of the submission.

Rich Russillo: She may have gotten the rope there but was the damage done is the question because she was in that submission for a long time, AND DARYL KNOWS THAT AS HE TRIES TO BRING HER FROM THE ROPES AND LOCK IT IN AGAIN, BUT SHE’S HOLDING ON FOR DEAR LIFE!! She uses her free foot and kicks Daryl in the face which causes him to stumble back a few feet, Haruka is up – AND A RUNNING KNEE FROM HARUKA!! IS THIS HER CHANCE HERE?! She feels the adrenaline going as she stalks Daryl from behind once again – AND SHE RUNS UP BEHIND HIM AND DELIVERS “ESPERANZA!!!” SHE CRAWLS OVER AND SHE HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!!! IS THIS GOING TO BE ENOUGH TO PUT DARYL AWAY FOR GOOD?!

OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEE!!!!

James Peters: NO IT’S NOT!!! DARYL SURVIVES AND STAYS IN IT…JUST BARELY!! The look on Haruka’s face says it all, and it looks like she knows what she has to do in order to put this match away. She rolls under the ropes and oh no, she begins to slowly climb to the top again. She’s failed once and succeeded once, and it’s risky at this stage. What does she have in mind here? I think we all have a pretty good idea…

Rich Russillo: She stands tall and looks down on Daryl and she leaps off the topl – “PRODIGIOUS LANDING!!!!” THE PHOENIX SPLASH!!!” WHAT HEIGHT SHE JUST GOT ON THAT!! BUT OH NO, DARYL GOT HIS KNEES UP AT THE LAST MILLISECOND!! Daryl just barely avoids disaster there ss Haruka took the risk and it just might end up costing her here as Daryl slowly stirs back to his feet as she holds her ribs on both knees….AND DARYL RUNS AND HITS A KNEE AND NECKBREAKER COMBO! DARYL MIGHT HAVE THIS MATCH WRAPPED UP HERE AS DARYL – DARYL GETS HER IN POSITION AND GOES FOR “A BEAUTIFUL LIE” FOR THE SECOND TIME…BUT HARUKA IS STILL FIGHTING BACK WITH SHOTS TO THE RIBS…BUT HE CROSSES THE LEG AND LIFTS HER UP ANYWAY –

Persephone: HARUKA LANDS ON HER FEET FROM BEHIND – AND THEN A SNAP GERMAN SUPLEX!! Daryl is up in the corner and Haruka charges and goes for it again – AND “PAPER PLANE” CONNECTS IN THE CORNER!! HARUKA CAN FEEL THE MATCH IS NEARLY OVER AS SHE GRABS HIM BY THE ARM AND GOES FOR “DESTINO!!” HER REVERSE SOMERSAULT DDT – BUT DARYL OUT OF DESPERATION THROWS HER FACE FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLE IN THE CORNER!! Haruka stumbles out of the corner holding her face in pain –

James Peters: HARUKA TURNS AROUND AND DARYL VERY QUICKLY GOES FOR “A BEAUTIFUL LIE!!” HIS CROSS LEGGED FISHERMAN’S BUSTER – AND THE THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM AS IT FINALLY CONNECTS AND DARYL GOES FOR THE COVER!!! WILL BE ENOUGH TO PUT HARUKA AWAY?!

OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!

TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEE!!!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

(“Primrose” by Dream State plays, and there is a loud mixed reaction as Daryl slowly rolls away, using the ropes to pull himself to his feet before finally having his hand raised by the referee. It was a very tough match seeing the performance of Haruka, but in the end Daryl won.)

Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER….DAARRYYLLLL KIINNNKKADDDDEEEE!!!!

James Peters: A well fought and well earned victory here tonight for Daryl, and an amazing effort from Haruka, but tonight it was Daryl’s night and he looks to use this to add to his momentum heading into Wicked Games!

Rich Russillo: Ronan Malosi should have been watching that match very closely, because this is what he’ll have to be dealing with soon enough, whether he likes it or not. Congratulations to Daryl!

(The final shot is of Daryl celebrating his win on the top rope, before Voltage starts to fade away from ringside.)

(Voltage opens up backstage where we see Hikari Kanno walking through the backstage area. She’s definitely not in a good mood at the moment, and that is seen when she approaches Sierra Everett’s locker room door. Rolling her eyes and wondering whether or not this is going to result in anything, Hikari pounds her fist against it numerous times vigorously.)

Hikari Kanno: SIERRA! Open up! I’m not really in the mood to play any games this week and it’s pointless for you to continue hiding from me. Your cowardice isn’t going to do you any favors and one way or another, you’re going to have to face me.

(Hikari waits for a moment and when it becomes clear that Sierra is not going to come to the door, Hikari knocks once again, this time a little more aggressively. Finally, the doorknob twists, and the door creaks as it slowly opens up. Hikari’s face goes from serious to just annoyed when she sees who is standing right in front of her. It’s not Sierra Everett. No, it’s none other than her assistant and sister, Delilah Everett. Not exactly who Hikari wanted to run into since she had already spoken to Delilah about this entire situation before. She wants Sierra, but unfortunately that’s not what she got.)

Hikari Kanno: You?

Delilah Everett: Yes me. What do you want?

Hikari Kanno: I think that’s pretty self-explanatory. I made it perfectly clear last week that I want your coward of a sister in a match at Wicked Games and one way or another, I plan to make good on that. I understand that she’s not used to competing on a regular basis because of whatever little deal she had worked out for her on the indys, but this is EAW and she doesn’t have the luxury of coming and going as she pleases. She went above and beyond to pick a fight with me and that’s not going to go unpunished.

Delilah Everett: I’m sorry, Hikari. As much as she would love to have this match against you, she simply can’t. She’s not physically capable of competing and won’t be until after Wicked Games. Unfortunately you’ll have to find someone else to fight at Wicked Games. We wish you the best of luck.

(Delilah Everett begins to shut the door, but Hikari steps her foot forward, and extends her arm out to stop the door from shutting. That wasn’t the answer Hikari wanted to hear. She wants this match. She DEMANDS this match, and she isn’t giving up especially since she doesn’t fully believe Sierra is even injured.)

Hikari Kanno: That fact you think I believe you is utterly pathetic. We both know Sierra is not incapicated to the point where she can’t compete until after Wicked Games. I get that I’m a deadly striker, not to humble brag or anything, but this is silly. The small taste of what’s to come to Sierra pales in comparison to what she did to me, and I competed a week later, and came out victorious. Here’s a refresher for you. She threw me down the stairs. She powerbombed me into the handrails. She busted me open with the help of diamond studded brass knuckles. And all of this happened AFTER she blindsided me during MY interview with Sofia. I’m perfectly fine. So please try and convince me again that Sierra is incapable of competing because of her injuries.

(A sudden squeak is heard. It’s a set of tires rolling towards the door. Delilah looks back, then slowly opens the door to reveal none other than Sierra Everett in a wheelchair. Sierra wheels herself closer to the door and in front of Hikari Kanno. For once, Hikari looks stunned at the site before her. It’s that ridiculous. Not only is Sierra in a wheelchair, but she’s completely bandaged up. She’s wearing a neckbrace, her head is wrapped up, and she looks like there are a million things wrong with her. Almost like she broke every single bone in her body.)

Hikari Kanno: Are you serious right now?

(Hikari looks at Delilah and Sierra. Her eyes go from side to side, as she really isn’t taking any of this seriously.)

Hikari Kanno: :cmon:

Sierra Everett: Ha ha.. You can stop with all of the jokes. Look at what you’ve done to me!! Look at me!! This is all your fault Hikari!! I can’t move or rotate my head or else I lose all feeling in my left leg!! My head hurts so bad that it’s giving me migraines that make me go unconscious!! I can barely even move my arms due to the possibility of paralysis!! If you wanted to have that stupid match at Wicked Games, you would have never assaulted me like a wild animal! You did this to me! Now you’re the only person you can blame for why a match between me and you isn’t happening anytime soon and especially not by the time Wicked Games comes around..

Hikari Kanno: Yeah, no.. I’m not buying it. You’re just trying to duck me because you finally got a taste of what I can do, and now you realize that you don’t have a chance against me in that ring. You’re just trying to back your way out of a situation that YOU put yourself into. In a weird way, it’s almost admirable because I’ve never had someone go to such lengths in an attempt to avoid me.

Sierra Everett: Trust me, I’m not ducking anyone. I wish I could compete, but your uncivilized self couldn’t keep your emotions in check and caused all of this.

Hikari Kanno: Uncivilized? :mjpls: If I were you, I wouldn’t throw that word around so loosely, especially after you just compared me to a wild animal. That aside, you brought all of this upon yourself. You interrupted my interview, attempted to assert yourself, and while I was being treated by the medical staff, you had the audacity to talk about the Universal Women’s Championship and how you could dominate the women’s division without any competition whatsoever. Look at you now. That same woman you were bragging about injuring has you acting like this.. Where is the energy you had before? Fight me, Sierra. And back up not only your words but your actions as well..

Sierra Everett: No. I’m not risking my career over a stupid match against you when I’m in this condition. Get other plans Hikari.. You did this to yourself.

(Hikari pauses for a moment, then cracks a grin. She goes right after Sierra Everett. However, before she could get her hands on Sierra, the ‘crippled’ and ‘injured’ woman in the wheelchair pops up to her feet and shoves Delilah right into Hikari. This caught Hikari off guard, as now it is revealed that Sierra is perfectly fine and that her injuries are nothing but fake. Hikari Kanno tries to shove Delilah off of her, But Sierra Everett rushes in and begins delivering forearm strikes that land right at Hikari’s head! Hikari tries to cover her head with her fists and forearms like a boxer, however that doesn’t prepare her for what’s coming her way next. Sierra Everett undoes her neck brace, and swings it right at Hikari’s head! Over and over again, Sierra Everett bashes that neck brace against Hikari’s head until Hikari drops down to her knees. Sierra Everett then gets the neck brace, and wraps it around Hikari Kanno’s neck!!)

(Hikari is now gasping for air, as Sierra begins to tighten that neck brace with every passing second. Everett then throws in a sleeper hold from behind Hikari, as Hikari not only tries to pry off Sierra’s arms, but the neck brace as well. Hikari Kanno looks like she might be done for the night. Her eyes begin to shut, as her arms lower slowly after trying to loosen the neck brace. Hikari’s eyes finally shut, and her arm completely falls to her sides as they remain lifeless and limp. Sierra looks down at Hikari’s unconscious body, then releases the sleeper hold before shoving Kanno off to the side.)

Sierra Everett: You can keep the neck brace. You’re going to need it.. Let’s go, Delilah..

(Sierra Everett undoes her head wrap and rips off whatever bandages are on her body and tosses it all into a nearby trash bin. Everett then grabs the wheelchair, and rolls it back towards her locker room door where we see Delilah entering. Sierra looks back towards Hikari’s body, shrugs her shoulders, then pushes the wheelchair into her locker room, as she steps inside. The door then shuts behind her. The camera then pans down towards Hikari Kanno. She still has that neck brace wrapped tightly around her neck, as it continues to collapse her airways in the throat. She’s unconscious, but luckily there is a medical staff member who sees Hikari Kanno laid out on the ground. He rushes over and immediately attempts to get that neck brace off of her.)

Medical Team Member: HELP!! HELP!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!

(Suddenly, numerous medical team members come rushing from around the corner and begin to help. Eventually, they get the neck brace off of Hikari and she starts coughing and gasping for air. Eventually, Hikari is helped into a sitting position and she takes several deep breaths, trying her best to get the air back in her lungs. As she comes around and starts to breathe normally, her eyes narrow as she looks towards Sierra’s lockerroom. No doubt this won’t be the last time Sierra Everett hears from Hikari Kanno.)

(Voltage fades to commercial break.)

(Commercial break advertising the beautiful city of Sapporo featuring Daryl Kinkade. It may be Haruka Kashimashi’s hometown, but no one loves the place more than the former National Elite Champion! Visit Sapporo today!)

(The camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the ring for the next match.)

Bella Braxton: The following contest is a Voltage vs. Showdown Showcase Match! It is a tag team contest scheduled for…

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!

(‘Pinky! Pinky!’ by The Idol Formerly Known as LADYBABY hits to loud cheers from the crowd. Before long, Ayu Megumi and Usagi Senshi begin to make their way out, and while they look focused for their match they are also clearly upset about the conversation they had with Candice Blair earlier, having to force themselves to take their minds off of it as they make their way towards the ring.)

Bella Braxton: Introducing first representing VOLTAGE!!!! At a combined weight of 230 pounds… They are the tag team of Usagi Senshi and Ayu Megumi… THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ICE ACESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: We have a huge Voltage versus Showdown match coming up! We obviously are rooting for Voltage here, but I’m interested in seeing how this match goes, especially knowing the fact that their minds might not be all on this match because of Candice Blair!

Rich Russillo: It was Usagi’s birthday this week so it would be a great present for her and Ayu to win this match, but you’re right. Anything could happen, we’ll just have to wait and see!

( “Ready To Die” by The Notorious B.I.G. hits to loud boos from the crowd. Lucas Johnson comes out to the heavy boos from the Voltage faithful. He ignores them as he waits on the ramp for the arrival of his partner. Lucas looks focused and prepared to get a great victory for himself and for his brand as he stares at his opponents.)

Bella Braxton: And their opponents representing SHOWDOWN!! First… from Long Island, New York weighing in at 204.5 pounds he is “The Wrestling Machine” LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCAS JOOOOOOOHHHHNNNNNNSSSSSSONNNNNN!!!!!!

James Peters: I think it often goes unsaid the experience and legacy of Lucas Johnson who is one of the longest tenured wrestlers we have here in EAW. Obviously I want Voltage to win but it is clear that Showdown is not messing around by sending him.

Rich Russillo: Lucas has declared that tonight it is Team Blue or Else! Which means that he fully intends to leave tonight with a victory for Showdown. He is on enemy turf so he has to be at the top of his game and hopefully he can focus on this match!

James Peters: This could be a good win for Lucas Johnson, it might be what he needs to get back on track!

( “Get Going” by The Muddy Apes hits to further boos from the crowd. Komatsu Ogawa walks out to join Lucas Johnson on stage as they make their way to the ring as a team ready to fight.)

Bella Braxton: And his partner from Kabukicho, Tokyo, Japan he is the “Drunken Heel King” KOMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATSU OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGAWA!!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: Komatsu Ogawa has claimed that he is insulted at the level of competition that Voltage is providing him here tonight. I wonder if he is underestimating his opponents or if the win will really be that easy for him.

Rich Russillo: He claims that the Ice Aces have never faced a team like him and Lucas before. He definitely seems confident in their chances here tonight and you can tell from his demeanor that losing hasn’t even crossed his mind. We will see what happens because we have been watching the Ice Aces here on Voltage every week and we know that they just keep getting better every time we see them. It will be a long and hard fought match I am sure.

(DING! DING! DING!)

Rich Russillo: The match begins as soon as the bell rings with Usagi Senshi charging in at Lucas Johnson! Usagi catching him by surprise and just clubbing Lucas down! Usagi with punches and kicks as she clobbers Lucas. Komatsu Ogawa and Ayu Megumi watch on from their corners as the match began so suddenly I don’t know if they were even ready. But Usagi was clearly and now Lucas is paying for taking his eye off the prize. Lucas tries to roll out of the ring but Usagi with hard forearm shots to the head before whipping him across the ring. Usagi catches Lucas with an Arm Drag! But Lucas rolls out of it and sweeps the leg of Usagi! But Usagi jumps over managing to avoid the sneaky move. Usagi with a Spinning Buzzsaw Kick to the head of Lucas! But Lucas ducks and rolls out of the way with another leg sweep taking Usagi down this time she was unable to avoid it!

James Peters: Lucas Johnson with a Running Senton Bomb to Usagi Senshi on the mat, but Usagi rolls out oft he way! Lucas somersaults through it back up to his feet as both competitors stand back up. Usagi charges in with a Clothesline but Lucas ducks beneath and goes for a big Superkick on Usagi! Usagi manages to grab onto him as he comes for her into a big Exploder Suplex tossing Lucas backwards! But Lucas manages to roll to his feet before rolling around behind Usagi. Great counter wrestling we are seeing here tonight on Voltage. Lucas off the ropes as Usagi spins around and catches him in a grapple before he shoves her away to break things up. Lucas charges in with a thunderous Lariat knocking Usagi off her feet!

Rich Russillo: Lucas goes to whip Usagi across the ring but she counters with a Spinning Side Kick to the gut of Lucas. Hard repeated kicks from Usagi fighting back against Lucas before whipping him across the ring. Lucas reverses the Irish Whip sending Usagi running. Usagi ricochets off the ropes and eats a clothesline from Lucas! No! Usagi ducks beneath and continues to run off the ropes. Usagi comes flying back with a Spinning Wheel Kick to the face of Lucas knocking him right back down! Usagi goes into the cover!!! This could be an early night for Lucas!

Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-

James Peters: But Usagi Senshi can’t even get one off that pinfall on Lucas Johnson! He has just too much left in the tank! Lucas back up as Usagi connects with a Front Kick sending him backwards into the corner back first. Usagi charges in with repeated Shoulder Thrusts to the gut as Lucas is really eating it here. Lucas shoves Usagi off but she just comes charging back in! Wait no! Lucas charges out of the corner with a Running Spear Tackle and just drove Usagi down into the mat with force! Lucas grabs Usagi by the hair and yanks her dragging her across the ring to the corner. Lucas makes the tag in to Komatsu Ogawa who enters the ring and headbutts Usagi hard while Lucas holds her up. Komatsu gets some cheap shots in before Lucas is forced to leave the ring leaving Usagi at the mercy of his tag team partner.

Rich Russillo: Komatsu Ogawa is just beating the hell out of Usagi Senshi in the ring with punches and kicks. Komatsu showing excellent striking ability here tonight with this attack on Usagi. Usagi being prevented from getting back up but then Komatsu yanks her back up regardless and connects with a hard single palmed slap across the chest. You can see the pain on Usagi’s face as that slap echoed across the entire arena. Usagi fires back with a punch of her own but Komatsu just uses that to whip her across the ring by grabbing the arm. Usagi goes for a run! Back Body Drop from Komatsu!!! No! Usagi flips over the ducked Komatsu and lands on her feet behind him! Usagi with a Spinning Heel Ki-

James Peters: Komatsu Ogawa ducks beneath! But Usagi Senshi continues spinning and throws the other leg around with a Spinning Heel Kick from the opposite leg! This time, one connects taking Komatsu right off his feet! Usagi runs off the ropes and connects with a Flipping Guillotine Leg Drop crushing the neck of Komatsu as she lands in the ring on top of his trachea. Usagi slides into the cover!!!

Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rich Russillo: Komatsu Ogawa kicks out with authority throwing Usagi Senshi off of him. Komatsu rolls back up as Usagi swings her fist at him, but Komatsu ducks it but falls and trips in the process. Usagi taking advantage as she runs to her corner and makes the tag in to Ayu Megumi! Here comes Ayu! She enters the ring and kicks Komatsu’s arm away as he was reaching out for Usagi to stop the tag! But he was too late! Megumi wrenches the arm of Komatsu around nearly ripping his shoulder out of the socket. She yanks the arm tossing Komatsu to the ground and then dropping the elbow atop the arm of the fallen opponent. Megumi continues to yank the arm of Komatsu back up and whips him across the ring. Komatsu comes charging back but Ayu Megumi knocks him back down to the mat with a Running Shoulder Rush.

James Peters: Ayu Megumi runs off the ropes before leaping into the air and dropping the Leaping Elbow down onto the chest of Komatsu Ogawa before sliding in for the cover!!!

Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Persephone: Hmm only a one count? That’s fine. That’s totally fine! I mean it would have been nice to get at least two. It would have felt like progress was being made on this match. Towards reaching the end of it. But it’s fine that the match is not making progress towards the end. It is good actually. That it is continuing. Not even close to ending. Probably not even halfway over. That’s just great really and I can’t wait to see what’s next! 😃 !!!!

Rich Russillo: Ayu Megumi yanks the arm of Komatsu Ogawa bringing him right back up but Ogawa fires back with the forearm right into the face of Megumi! Komatsu pulls Ayu into a charging headbutt knocking her silly. Komatsu pulls Megumi up over his shoulders and drops her into an Inverted Facelock before transferring her over into an Inverted Facelock Backbreaker. No wait! Megumi slipped out before Komatsu could hit it! Komatsu turns around and fires several shots at Megumi but through the sheer force of will she is completely unaffected! Megumi with a hard uppercut to Komatsu’s jaw sending him flying back across the ring. But as she returns… Komatsu with a Running Big Boot taking Megumi’s head clear off!!! Komatsu just kicked her head off into the stratosphere with that one and he isn’t even bothering to go for the cover!

James Peters: Komatsu Ogawa reaches down to the neck of Ayu Megumi and he is just blatantly choking the life out of her. Komatsu bashes his knee repeatedly into the skull of Megumi and she is out cold as he slides in for a cover! This could be all she wrote!!!

Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-

Rich Russillo: Ayu Megumi kicks out! Komatsu Ogawa right back on her as he drags Megumi into the corner and begins to bash her brains into the corner repeatedly. Megumi manages to turn around as Ogawa whips her across the ring. Ogawa charges in but Megumi gets the knee up kicking him backwards into the ring! Megumi runs the ropes and charges in taking Komatsu down with a Flipping Leaping Diving Clothesline, what a move that was by Ayu Megumi! Megumi slips and slides across the ring as she gets that cover in as fast as she can at this point in the match!

Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-

James Peters: But this time it is Komatsu Ogawa who kicks out before the three count can be completed in full! Lucas Johnson looked like he was about to get into the ring to interfere. Komatsu suddenly stands up to the shock of Megumi who backs up into her corner and tags Usagi back in. She’s not playing around and it looks like Komatsu is suddenly getting a burst of energy and she wants nothing to do with that. Usagi Senshi enters the ring and charges in wildly only to eat a running back chop to the chest from Komatsu tearing her inside out and knocking her to the mat. Usagi rolls right back up to her feet before scrambling into the corner but Komatsu is stalking her looking to inflict pain for a long time.

Persephone: Hopefully not too long. But also as long as Disney would like!

Rich Russillo: Komatsu Ogawa is lighting up Usagi Senshi’s chest in the corner with rapid fire chops to the chest. Komatsu using shorter chops in order to increase the velocity but likely also reducing the impact! It is hard to say if this strategy will pay off for him but I hope he has considered the trade offs between the alternate methods of chopping here tonight. Komatsu gets tired out so instead he throws a Spinning Back Elbow to the head of Senshi! WAIT, NO! IT DIDN’T CONNECT!!! USAGI SENSHI DUCKED UNDER THE STRIKE AND LANDS A HUGE ELBOW OF HER OWN, AND NOW USAGI JUMPS UP WHILE HOLDING ONTO THE ROPES BEFORE USING BOTH BOOTS TO KICK KOMATSU OGAWA OUT OF THE CORNER! Smart move by Usagi Senshi as she gets out of a bad situation!

James Peters: Usagi Senshi comes running out of the corner and grabs Komatsu Ogawa from behind hooking the arms! Dragon Suplex connects!!! Komatsu is dazed as he rolls back up but Usagi comes off the ropes and plants Komatsu in the middle of the ring with a Running Facebuster!! Usagi has Komatsu right where she wants him as she runs the ropes and connects with a Lionsault flipping down upon Komatsu and right into the cover! Usagi may have this thing here!!!

Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-

Rich Russillo: Kickout by Komatsu Ogawa as Usagi Senshi was unable to put him away this time! Usagi lifts Komatsu up and whips him across the ring, she goes for the Back Body Drop but Komatsu kicks her in the jaw as he stops just in time to prevent the toss! Usagi falls backwards into the ropes and comes falling back as Komatsu grabs her and pulls her in before dropping her with a Fireman’s Carry position into a Swinging Spinebuster into the mat! Komatsu goes for the cover!!!

Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE——

James Peters: The kickout though! Usagi Senshi is still in this match, it isn’t over just yet! Komatsu Ogawa is sick of this and decides to tag in his partner! Lucas Johnson is back in!

(TAG!)

Persephone: Imagine being sick of this. Couldn’t be me.

Rich Russillo: Komatsu Ogawa keeps Usagi Senshi trapped in the corner as Lucas Johnson enters and repeatedly kicks her legs. Johnson enjoying having Usagi at his mercy as he strikes upon her while yelling things at her about how he is the future of the company. Lucas Johnson obviously wants a huge victory, and I think it’s easy to see why Lucas would feel so strongly about a match like this now that he is in the moment!

James Peters: Lucas Johnson now pinning her down in the ring and throwing repeated punches left and right into her face. You can see bruises beginning to form around the eyes of Usagi. Lucas rakes the eyes of Usagi before smashing her head repeatedly into the mat.

Referee: Lucas that is enough!

Rich Russillo: The referee is finally getting involved after seeing Lucas rake the eyes, warning Lucas that he’ll get disqualified if he uses moves like those. The referee pulling Lucas Johnson off Usagi Senshi but the damage has been done. Usagi is lying face down in the ring motionless and this may be the end of the line for her. Ayu Megumi is trying to get into the ring to check on her girlfriend but the referee is refusing to allow that.

James Peters: Lucas Johnson with the tag out to Komatsu Ogawa who enters the ring and pulls up the motionless Usagi Senshi. Ogawa lifts up Usagi! Spinning Facebuster connects! No! Usagi somehow landed on her leg! She leaps to the corner and makes the tag in to Ayu! Ayu comes flying into the ring with a Springboard Dropkick taking out Ogawa! And Lucas now leaps into the ring to ambush Megumi from behind! But Usagi comes charging in with a Cactus Clothesline to Lucas as they both go spinning over the top rope to the outside!!!

Rich Russillo: Komatsu Ogawa back up as he staggers backwards!!! Watch out! Ayu Megumi has got him! ETHEREAL BLADE CONNECTS!!! Ayu got all of that Claymore Kick as she falls to the cover!!!

Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Bella Braxton: Here are your winners… The Ice Aces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(The Idol Formerly Known as LADYBABY – ‘Pinky! Pinky!’ hits to loud cheers from the crowd as Ayu Megumi rolls off of Komatsu Ogawa after picking up the victory.)

James Peters: THE ICE ACES PICK UP THE VICTORY, BOTH FOR THEMSELVES AND THE YELLOW BRAND!

(Usagi Senshi and Ayu Megumi have their hands raised by the referee after picking up the victory, both satisfied with the win and still frustrated over what happened earlier with the Wicked Games situation.)

Persephone: Wow! The match is over! We did it! We won!

Rich Russillo: You are happy because they won for Voltage right?

Persephone: Yes. That’s it. Of course.

Rich Russillo: I could not agree more then! Komatsu Ogawa and Lucas Johnson put up a good effort but in the end it was The Ice Aces that came out with the win. Ogawa could not even fathom losing to this team but in the end he was even the one who took the fall. Maybe next time he won’t be so overconfident and dismissive of his opponents. Either way, congratulations to the Ice Aces!

(Voltage fades away from ringside as the Ice Aces celebrate their victory.)

(Sunday Night Voltage fades into the backstage area, showing one of the office rooms in the arena. There are various cameras pointing toward a black curtain alongside a television that has the Voltage logo on it. Then, something is seen getting pushed into the shot, something decently covered in a big black tarp. It’s pushed into the room by none other than Captain Charisma who places the mysterious object into the middle of the room, taking a deep breath once he is finished. He then turns toward the cameras with a grin on his face, before beginning to speak.)

Captain Charisma: Welcome everyone who is tuning in. Tonight, I’m here with a little surprise for everyone watching. As you know, Wicked Games is getting closer and closer with every passing week. We already have a various number of matches announced, with two triple threats for a chance to enter the Specialists Chamber at Road To Redemption, alongside the Champion Minerva defending the EAW Championship against Hardcore Champion Charlie Marr. All of those matches announced are exciting on their own… but how about we take it a step forward? Let’s make things even more exciting than they were before. I had this planned for a few days, it was a pain having to set it up and making sure everything was accepted, but I got it done and I am sure everybody will love it. It’s a game that fans of Voltage for the past few years will know very well, and this time, I will be around to change things up a bit…with the Wicked Games Roulette!

(Seemingly on cue, Eden Sinclair arrived in the room where Captain Charisma was making his announcement. She was busy on her phone doing other things and checking Social Stream to see people’s comments on the show, but hearing Captain Charisma talk about the Wicked Games Roulette drew her in. She stood to the side with a confused expression on her face.)

Eden Sinclair: Uhhh Matt…what the heck is the ‘Wicked Games Roulette’???

Captain Charisma: Hey Eden! You arrived at the perfect time, and I am very glad that you asked. Since this is my show, I want to make the fans enjoy what they are watching, so I threw in a “spin”- Get it? Because it is a Roulette? -and decided to spice things up by giving each match at Wicked Games an unique stipulation, one that will be chosen by the wheel here right next to me!

(Captain Charisma decided to build suspense for a few seconds before he grabbed the tarp and took it right off, revealing the Wicked Games Roulette. A wheel which was full of various stipulations, some known, some new and a few others that were a bit tame compared to the last few seasons. Eden took the time to check every stipulation on the wheel, and all of them seemed acceptable to her.)

Eden Sinclair: :notbad: You know what Matt? I really like this idea! It brings something different to the matches, an air of suspense, and all the stipulations seem acceptable for Disney!

Captain Charisma: Thank you, thank you, I am very proud on the creation of this Roulette , and it does indeed bring an air of suspense since all of the Elitists that will be competing at Wicked Games will get to find out what type of match they will be fighting in through this wheel.

???: Now that sounds interesting, can I take a stab at that- I mean, try it out?

(Captain Charisma and Eden turn when hearing a voice and it is Daryl Kinkade, still in his ring gear and with a towel around his neck after his match with Haruka Kashimashi. He walked in very intrigued after hearing about the Wicked Games Roulette and he wanted to see how it was.)

Daryl Kinkade: Can we say take a stab at things?

Eden Sinclair: Uhhh…considering the action of stabbing is related to a dangerous weapon, I am pretty sure you can’t, but I will let you pass this time.

Captain Charisma: Daryl! Good to see you as well, do you want to be the first person to take a spin at the wheel?

Daryl Kinkade: Oh, you best believe I want to take a spin at that, after your explanation this Roulette definitely caught my interest and I would love to be the first person to spin the wheel. I already can’t wait to get my hands on Ronan, and finding out what kind of match it will be will just make things more interesting than they already are. I already thought of 1000 ways to beat him, with this stipulation? I am sure I will figure out 1000 more.

(Daryl lets out a small grin, ready to spin the wheel… before he gets cut off by a voice.)

???: ALL OF YOU, GET OUT OF THE WAY! The real star has arrived!

(And from those words and that tone of voice, it was clear who it was. Ronan Malosi casually entered the room with a smug grin on his face. He spread his arms out like he was being welcomed by millions of fans, but the people in the crowd of his own hometown were booing him loudly as he appeared.)

Ronan Malosi: Did you hear all those cheers, Captain Charisma? They love me!

Captain Charisma: …I am pretty sure they were booing you, Ronan.

Ronan Malosi: Oh well, you must have misheard, we are pretty far away from the ring after all. Anyway, I heard my name, did any of you call me?

Eden Sinclair: No, not really.

Captain Charisma: We were only talking about the Roulette here, not you.

Daryl Kinkade: I think what Ronan is trying to say is that he wants to suffer another beating guys.

Ronan Malosi: Woah, woah, woah! Now calm down “bruv”, I might not be welcomed here, from what I can see but it won’t stop me from doing what is right. Because seriously, what is this? Daryl shouldn’t even be getting a match at ALL after what he did last week! He attacked me unprovoked after he already distracted me and cost me the match against Sheridan-

Captain Charisma: Wait, hold on, since when did Daryl cost you the match?

Ronan Malosi: He just did last week!

Daryl Kinkade: Actually, I was just chilling with the commentators.

Ronan Malosi: Look at him, lying right in front of my face, he truly has no shame! I was basically fighting a losing battle as soon as he and Bethany were around too! I was in a 1-on-3 handicap situation for crying out loud!

Eden Sinclair: But Dr. Bethany Blue didn’t even interfere either, she was just accompanying Sheridan to her match.

Ronan Malosi: Well…what is indeed certain is that he attacked me with a steel chair after my match without any reason!

Daryl Kinkade: No, that wasn’t me, that was Sidney the Steel Chair, I truly couldn’t control her at all.

Ronan Malosi: Do you think I am a clown?

Daryl Kinkade: I think you are the whole circus actually.

Ronan Malosi: You-

Daryl Kinkade: No, you know what Ronan? Just stop, everybody has already heard enough of you, you are basically wasting me and everyone else’s time listening to you. Because look at you, complaining like a little girl about something that didn’t even happen, you want to know the actual reason why I attacked you? It is because you are an insufferable piece of trash who nobody likes. I tried to play along with my own jokes but it is clear I am going to go insane if this is what I have to keep hearing from you. You yourself are a joke! You didn’t lose last week because of me, nor because of Bethany, not even by Sheridan herself, it was because of you. Ronan Malosi screwed himself and you are the only reason you keep holding yourself back. You got eliminated first off of our team, all four of us beat you down in the ring because you decided to unjustly take all of the credit, and now you decide to target me out of all four because why? Because you think I am the weakest? Nah man, I might not have the same accomplishments as people like Sheridan, Bethany and Charlie have, but no matter who is in the room, whenever Ronan Malosi enters it, he will always be the weakest inside. I just gave you what you deserved last week, and I will be happy to do it again at Wicked Games in whatever stipulation that wheel lands on.

(Ronan…stays deadly quiet in a rare instance. He seemingly doesn’t have anything to say as he only stands there with a scowl, Daryl can only give him a glare before he turns over to the wheel to go and spin it. But before he can do that, he turns towards Eden.)

Daryl Kinkade: Seriously, why did you put him in the team in the first place?

Eden Sinclair: Hey, don’t look at me, I thought he would do a better job than what he did. 🤷

(And with that comment, Ronan seemingly snapped as he suddenly rushed at Daryl and he hit him right in the back of the neck with a clothesline! Daryl fell down to the ground from the sudden sneak attack and Ronan starts throwing strikes and forearms at a downed Daryl while Eden and Captain Charisma stand there in shock.)

Eden Sinclair: Quick, get security!

(Captain Charisma seems content to let them fight so Eden glares at him before rushing to get security herself. Ronan grabs Daryl by the shoulders and starts throwing him at the curtains and the walls. Daryl quickly gets a chance to counter attack as he begins throwing his own punches and strikes at Ronan as they stay at a standstill for a moment, but Ronan uses his size advantage to grab Daryl by the shoulders…and throw him back first onto the TV! The screen shatters as Daryl falls onto the floor gritting his teeth, with bits and pieces of the tv screen getting stuck into his back. But Ronan isn’t done, he grabs Daryl by the hair and pulls him up to his feet as he threw him at the Wicked Games Roulette as well! Daryl’s body connecting directly with it and knocking it down to the ground!)

(Ronan glares down at Daryl laying next to the roulette wheel as he grabs him by the neck and pulls him back up, seemingly ready to pull off something here. Eden arrives quickly with the security guards, but it is too late as Ronan goes and pulls off…)

(THE DEATH-RO! Ronan spikes Daryl’s head directly onto the middle of the wheel and everyone stood there surprised, with Eden’s hands covering her mouth and Captain Charisma looking indifferent. Ronan quickly crouched down to look directly at Daryl eye to eye as he slowly spoke up.)

Ronan Malosi: You want to call me a joke? Maybe you won’t repeat that in the end when I am the last one laughing at you.

(The security guards then intervened, telling Ronan to leave now as he adjusted his suit and then he turned his back, finally making his leave as Captain Charisma could only look at the wheel.)

Captain Charisma: Man, it took me a long time to design that wheel :mjcry:

(Captain Charisma can only let out a sigh before he and Eden rush to check on Daryl, as Voltage fades away from backstage on the image of the two of them trying to help Daryl up after the attack.)

(Voltage fades to break.)

(A promotional ad for the Voltage exclusive event, Wicked Games airs. See Minerva defend the EAW Championship against Charlie Marr in what could very well become a Match of the Year contender! Wicked Games comes to you live on Disney+ from Melbourne, Australia on November 5th, 2022!)

(Voltage opens up in the arena where we see Theron Nikolas sitting at the commentary table with Rich Russillo, James Peters, and Persephone. After a moment, ‘Por Mi Mexico’ by Lefty SM Ft. Santa Fe Klan hits, as the crowd erupts into a mixture of boos and cheers. Roberto De La Rosa steps out onto the stage with his Valet, Esmeralda De La Rosa. The two look towards one another, then out towards this Voltage crowd before making their way to the ring.)

Bella Braxton: The following contest is a brand vs brand showcase match, and it is set for!!!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!

Bella Braxton: Introducing first.. Being accompanied by Esmeralda De La Rosa!! From Hidalgo, Mexico!!! Weighing 225lbs!!! REPRESENTING SHOWDOWN!!! EL PADRASTRO!!! ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!!!

James Peters: Here comes Roberto De La Rosa of the Showdown brand. He’s been doing his thing on the blue brand and gets to face some tough competition here on Sunday night voltage.

Rich Russillo: Unfortunately for him, the guy he’s facing may be the last person anyone wants to face here on Voltage!

(‘Down With The Sickness’ by Disturbed hits, as Samael steps out onto the stage with Dr. Doyle by his side. Dr. Doyle is keeping a close eye on Samael since he knows Theron is watching this from ringside. The crowd gives the two of them a loud reception filled with boos, as they make their way down the entrance ramp. The entire time, Theron glares at them with anger and frustration in his eyes.)

Bella Braxton: And his opponent.. Being accompanied by Dr. Doyle… Weighing 285lbs!!! THE GRIM REAPER!!! SAMAEL!!!!!!

Rich Russillo: And here comes Samael who has been on an absolute tear lately. Everything he’s gotten himself into, he has destroyed.

James Peters: You probably want to hold off on that seeing how one of the guys who got destroyed is sitting right next to us.

Theron Nikolas: …..

Rich Russillo: Well regardless, this should be a great match, and I’m glad Theron is here to watch it with us.

(DING! DING! DING!)

Rich Russillo: There’s the bell, and now this brand vs brand showdown is now underway! It looks like Samael is fired up and ready to go as right out of the gates he rushes towards Roberto with a running lariat!

James Peters: Yeah, but it looks like Roberto got out of the way just in time, as Samael runs right past him and catches himself in the corner. Roberto’s eyes lit up in shock as he had no idea that the big man could move so quickly and fierceful.

Rich Russillo: Roberto puts his guard up and looks directly at Samael. The Grim Reaper gets himself from out of the corner and makes his way towards De La Rosa!! KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE LEG BY DE LA ROSA!!! Samael grabs the side of his calf, and as he lowers his upper body.. IT’S ROBERTO WITH AN ELBOW SHOT RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE OF SAMAEL!!!

Persephone: Samael stumbles off to the side and nearly falls down to the mat. However, he retains his balance and stays standing… BUT IT’S ROBERTO WITH ANOTHER ELBOW TO THE FACE!!

Rich Russillo: Samael backs away, as Roberto gets in a low stance, and.. ROBERTO SHOOTS IN FOR A DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN!!!

James Peters: But look! It’s a hard sprawl by Samael, as he pressures his hips down onto Roberto De La Rosa! Roberto is getting stretched out and losing most of his strength in this position, and now.. NOW IT’S SAMAEL WHO HOOKS ROBERTO’S ARM, THEN TOSSES HIM ACROSS THE RING AND OFF TO THE SIDE BY THE ROPES!!!!

Rich Russillo: Samael’s strength and overall size is a lot for anyone to handle. We’ve seen so many Elitists struggle to counter the dominating build of Samael. What are your thoughts on that, Theron?

Theron Nikolas: No comment. Not yet.

Persephone: Roberto De La Rosa is getting to his feet, but once he’s there, it’s Samael with a massive right hand to top of the Showdown Elitist’s head!! Another!! And another!!! Samael now grips at Roberto’s wrist and whips him across the ring and towards the far ropes at the other end! Roberto hits the ropes then springs back towards Samael who is setting up for a back body drop!!

Rich Russillo: But Roberto chops his feet to get himself to stop just in time to.. KICK SAMAEL RIGHT AT THE CHEST TO POP HIM UP INTO A STANDING POSITION!!!!

James Peters: Samael is a little dazed after that kick, and Roberto plans to capitalize on that, as he turns around, runs to the far ropes, rebounds back.. AND GOES FOR THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!!!!

Persephone: IT CONNECTS!!

Rich Russillo: BUT SAMAEL DOES NOT GO DOWN!!! Samael remains on his feet! He staggered back and lost balance for a moment after getting hit by that clothesline, but he stood his ground, and remained on his feet!!!

James Peters: AND LOOK!! THERE’S A HARD SHOVE BY SAMAEL!! He just sent Roberto a few feet back! Roberto doesn’t like being tossed around like a rag doll, that’s for sure! Look at his facial expression right now! He’s not looking too happy, and now Roberto charges at Samael with a little bit of rage!!

Rich Russillo: BUT IT’S SAMAEL WHO CATCHES HIM IN THE FACE WITH THE BIG BOOT!!! Roberto’s head snaps back, as he instantly drops to the canvas of the ring and clutches at his face!!! That was like a hard stiff arm in football, and it did exactly what it needed to do!

James Peters: You got that right, Rich! The second Samael raised that boot up, there was no way for Roberto to avoid it. That boot was perfectly timed and a textbook example of how to connect a big boot in a live match.

Persephone: Roberto De La Rosa is down on the canvas of the mat. He’s on his back and staring up at the ceiling, as he attempts to try and catch his breath. However, it looks like Samael has other plans for him, as he steps towards De La Rosa and.. HE CLUTCHES AT HIS THROAT!!! SAMAEL GRIPS AT ROBERTO’S THROAT, AS ROBERTO BEGINS TO GASP FOR AIR!!! DE LA ROSA TRIES TO PRY THE GRIP FROM OFF OF HIS THROAT!!!

Rich Russillo: AND WOW!! SAMAEL JUST LIFTED ROBERTO RIGHT OFF OF THE CANVAS OF THE RING BY THE THROAT!!! He has Roberto up to his feet while still clutching at the throat!! Look at Esmeralda on the outside!! She’s panicking for her brother!! She sees the situation she is in, and it’s unbearable to watch!!

James Peters: But Samael uses his strength to shove Roberto back!! Roberto then gets launched towards the side ropes then rebounds back towards Samael..

Persephone: BEAR HUG!!! SAMAEL HAS THE BEAR HUG LOCKED IN HERE IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!!

Rich Russillo: Samael is really squeezing the life out of Roberto right now. He has both arms wrapped as far around the body as he can, and he’s squeezing as hard as he can while driving his shoulder And head into Roberto’s diaphragm!! This is not a comfortable position to be in if you’re Roberto De La Rosa!!

James Peters: If you’re just about anyone, Rich. Do you see how strong and massive Samael is?! Add in his rage and uncontrollable temper. This is not a position anyone wants to be in. It’s just unfortunate for Roberto that he has to be the person struggling in one of Samael’s holds today.

Rich Russillo: And struggling is a great way to put it. Just look at Roberto right now. He’s got both of his hands off to the side and he’s trying to post down on Samael’s arms in an attempt to break his grip around the body.

Persephone: It doesn’t look like Roberto is getting out of that. Doesn’t he realize how tight Samael has it locked in?

Rich Russillo: Oh he realizes, Persephone. Trust me, he does. He’s just desperate to make something… ANYTHING.. happen. He’s definitely uncomfortable, and the constant pressure on his abdomen and rib cage is causing him to have a shortness of breath. Samael doesn’t care though. He’s just swinging Roberto around while keeping his grip like a dog shaking his head with a dog toy in its mouth!!

James Peters: And because of this, Roberto has no other choice but to scream at the top of his lungs!!! He’s hurting, he’s got no way out, and it looks like he’s stuck here unless he taps out!!

Rich Russillo: Don’t speak too soon there, James! Look! Samael is slowing down!! He’s been holding up Roberto for quite some time and even started shaking him around, but you must know that things like that use up your energy. To hold a 225lbs man for as long as Samael did was impressive, but every man has his limitations, and I believe he’s about to release this bear hug!

Persephone: BUT NOT BEFORE USING IT TO DRIVE ROBERTO RIGHT INTO THE CORNER TURNBUCKLES!! DE LA ROSA JUST GOT SLAMMED BACK FIRST INTO THE CORNER WITH SO MUCH POWER!! WITH SO MUCH FORCE!!!

Rich Russillo: Samael backs out of the corner, as De La Rosa nearly falls down to the canvas of the ring. However, the Showdown Elitist grabs onto the side ropes and keeps a tight grip on them to prevent himself from crashing down to the floor. Roberto pulls himself up now as he is in a standing position in the corner..

James Peters: BUT LOOK!! IT’S SAMAEL WITH A KNEE STRIKE TO THE MIDSECTION OF ROBERTO!! He then follows that up by grabbing De La Rosa by the head and… HEADBUTT!!! ANOTHER!! AND ANOTHER!! Samael is just ramming his head right into Roberto’s!! He’s inflicting as much pain as he can, and Roberto is simply just suffering through it all!!

Rich Russillo: Samael now backs away, then lowers his level before stepping in, and lifting Roberto up onto his shoulders. Samael now turns and faces the opposing corner turnbuckles and.. HE RUSHES TOWARDS THEM WITH ROBERTO STILL ON HIS SHOULDERS!!! COULD IT BE?!

Persephone: SNAKE EYES!!!!!

James Peters: NO!!! ROBERTO MANAGED TO SHOVE HIMSELF OFF AND GOT HIMSELF FROM BEHIND SAMAEL AS.. SAMAEL RUNS RIGHT INTO THE CORNER!! The Grim Reaper’s chest smacks against the turnbuckles, as he clutches at his torso, and turns around..

Persephone: SPRINGBOARD KNEE TO THE FACE!!!! ROBERTO JUST RAN UP AND LAUNCHED HIMSELF FROM OFF OF THE SIDE ROPES, AND LANDED A NASTY KNEE STRIKE THAT CAUGHT SAMAEL RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE!!! Samael drops down to a knee and clutches at his head in pain. He’s got to shake out some cobwebs because that knee was dangerous!!

Rich Russillo: Roberto De La Rosa calls that one the Border Crasher. It’s one of his signature moves, and there is no question why Samael is struggling to find his train of thought during his match after that one.

James Peters: Samael has just gotten back up to his feet. He’s still grabbing at his head in pain.. BUT IT’S A BIG ELBOW TO THE FACE BY ROBERTO DE LA ROSA THAT STAGGERS THE BIG MAN BACK!!! ANOTHER!! AND ANOTHER!!! Roberto is literally firing away and taking it to the Grim Reaper right now!!! Another elbow!! Another!! Samael is now dazed and confused, as this next elbow catches Samael across the face and knocks him back against the turnbuckles!!

Persephone: Samael is groggy right now, but still trying to get himself out of the corner and back towards Roberto. Samael took quite a few shots to the head, and the effects are definitely showing as he stumbles on his feet while trying to approach Roberto..

James Peters: BUT ROBERTO IS ALREADY ONE STEP AHEAD, AS HE IS COMING FROM THE FAR ROPES AND.. RUNNING DROPKICK!!! ROBERTO JUST DELIVERED A RUNNING DROPKICK THAT SENDS SAMAEL DOWN TO THE CANVAS OF THE RING!! WHAT A MOVE!!!

Rich Russillo: Roberto now gets to his feet, as he looks down at Samael. The Grim Reaper is down on the canvas, but looks as if he still has quite a bit of strength left in him. Roberto looks up at the corner, then back down to Samael. De La Rosa now makes his way up to the top rope, as he looks back at Samael who is almost to his feet.

Theron Nikolas: This doesn’t look good for Samael..

James Peters: NO IT DOESN’T!!! SAMAEL IS STANDING UP, BUT FROM THE TOP ROPE IT’S ROBERTO WITH A DIVING MOONSAULT!!!!

Rich Russillo: NO!! SAMAEL CAUGHT HIM IN MID-AIR!!! He has Roberto hoisted upside down while having his arms wrapped around the De La Rosa’s body!!

Persephone: Thoughts now, Theron?

Theron Nikolas: I’ll have to pass. There’s nothing that needs to be said.

Persephone: If only I could say that too.. But it’s impossible with the amazing matches we get to have here on Voltage. There’s always things to say!

Rich Russillo: As much as neither of you want to talk about what’s going on. There’s a pretty big event happening inside of that ring right now, because it looks like Samael is about to go for his Tombstone Piledriver!! He’s set up and ready to hit the move!!

James Peters: BUT BEFORE HE CAN EXECUTE IT, ROBERTO DE LA ROSA COUNTERS WITH A TILT A WHIRL HEADSCISSORS TAKEDOWN!!! SAMAEL LANDS ON HIS BUTT IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!! HE’S IN A SEATED POSITION, AS ROBERTO GETS FROM BEHIND HIM AND.. DROPKICK TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD BY ROBERTO!!! THAT ONE SENDS SAMAEL BACK AGAINST THE RING MAT, AND NOW IT’S ROBERTO TRYING TO SECURE THE PINFALL!!!

ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

THHHHHHHHHHRRRRRR-

James Peters: BUT SAMAEL JUST PRESSED ROBERTO RIGHT OFF OF HIM LIKE A BARBELL, AND EVEN TOSSED HIM IN THE AIR AND OFF TO THE SIDE TO STOP THE PIN!!!

Rich Russillo: Samael’s strength is just too unreal. How in the world was he capable of tossing Roberto like that after all that he has gone through in this match so far!! Truly unbelievable if you ask me.

Theron Nikolas: Sure, you can say that.

James Peters: And if we look at Esmeralda on the outside, she’s just as in shock as we are. Her eyes are all lit up as she wants nothing more than for Roberto to finish this match and get this battle with Samael done and over with. They both have seen what The Grim Reaper is capable of. They have both seen how uncontrollable he is, and they both know that this trip to Voltage can’t end with Roberto being seriously harmed. The longer this match continues, the more danger Roberto puts himself in, and that’s the last thing you want when dealing with Samael. DANGER!

Rich Russillo: Roberto turns his head in shock, and stares directly at his valet before beginning to nod. He then makes his way over to Samael and smacks him right across the face!! Samael is down on the canvas, as Roberto mounts on top of him, and… RIGHT HAND!! LEFT HAND!!! RIGHT!! LEFT!! RIGHT!! LEFT!!! Roberto is simply just tagging Samael with these punches!! Over and over again, he’s blasting Samael with these strikes!! He’s putting everything into these punches with the hopes of knocking Samael out long enough to get the pinfall!!

Persephone: Look at the aggression he is using against Samael right now!! Unloading these punches and not letting up a single bit!! Roberto keeps firing away!! Meanwhile on the outside, it’s Esmaralda who is jumping in joy while clapping her hands at the sight of Roberto brutally beating Samael right now!! The end is near!!! The end is near!!

Rich Russillo: SAMAEL JUST GRIPPED AT ROBERTO’S THROAT!!! HE LOOKED TO BE UNCONSCIOUS, BUT HIS HAND JUST SHOT UP AND NOW IT’S WRAPPED AROUND ROBERTO’S THROAT!!!

James Peters: LOOK AT ROBERTO’S EYES!! HE CAN’T BELIEVE IT!! AND ON THE OUTSIDE, IT’S ESMERALDA WHO IS CLUTCHING AT HER HEAD IN SHOCK ONCE AGAIN!! Samael sits up, then slowly works his way up to his feet while keeping his grip on his throat!! Samael tosses Roberto’s arm over his shoulder, and lifts him up by the throat!!!

Rich Russillo: CHOKESLAM!!! OH MY GOD THAT WAS A THUNDEROUS AND POWERFUL CHOKESLAM THAT COULD HAVE BROKEN ROBERTO DE LA ROSA IN HALF!!! SAMAEL DROPS DOWN FOR THE PIN!!!!!

ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!!!!

THHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

James Peters: NO!!! ROBERTO DE LA ROSA KICKED OUT!!! THIS MATCH CONTINUES!!!

Rich Russillo: Samael looks pretty pissed about Roberto having the energy to kick out. He rises to his feet, and grabs De La Rosa from the ground. He brings his opponent up to his feet, then get a firm grip on the back of Roberto’s head. Samael then rushes towards the corner and.. HE BASHES ROBERTO’S HEAD AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLE!!! AGAIN!!! AND AGAIN!!!!

James Peters: Samael is simply just making a statement right now as he continues to hurt this man!! Samael now grabs Roberto by the wrist, twists around, and now he’s scaling up to the top rope!! It looks like Samael is going for Old School!!!

Persephone: BUT NO!!! ROBERTO DESPERATELY TUGS ON SAMAEL’S ARM AS HE DROPS DOWN TO THE CANVAS OF THE RING!! SAMAEL STUMBLES ON HIS FEET, AND RELEASES HIS GRIP ON ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!!

Rich Russillo: ROBERTO RUSHES TO THE SIDE ROPES!! HE SPRINGS OFF OF THEM!!! SPRINGBOARD REVERSE DDT BY ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!!!!

James Peters: NO!!! SAMAEL CAUGHT HIM IN MID AIR!!! SAMAEL CAUGHT HIM IN MID AIR AND NOW HE HOLDS ROBERTO UPSIDE DOWN!!! YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS!!!! TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER BY SAMAEL!!!!! SAMAEL STAYS COVERING ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!!

ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Persephone: NO!!!! ESMERALDA PUT ROBERTO’S FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!!! SHE’S POINTING IT OUT TO THE REFEREE, AND HE CALLS OFF THE PIN!!!

James Peters: Esmeralda really saved her man from defeat just now, but at what cost?! Samael is staring directly at her from inside of the ring, and he knows something is up!! Samael rises up now, and exits out of the ring!! Esmeralda now begins to run away!!!

Rich Russillo: And now the chase is on!!! Samael is running after Esmeralda, as she continues to run away from him. The look of fear is showcased on Esmeralda’s face. She’s contemplating whether or not her saving Roberto was even worth it! Samael is gaining on her and she’s almost within his reach!! This is not good for De La Rosa!! Dr. Doyle now runs after Samael to stop this nonsense!!

James Peters: This reminds me of those Halloween movies where the main characters run away from Michael Meyers. No matter how fast you run, his walk will catch you. And you’re dead. Esmeralda might as well just get it done and over with. She messed with the wrong Grim Reaper!

Persephone: Esmeralda cuts the corner, as Samael is right behind her.. Wait!?! Theron, where are you going!?!

(Suddenly, Theron gets out of his seat from the commentary table, and steps between both Esmeralda and Samael who has been chasing after her. Theron gives him a serious look, as the Grim Reaper responds by tilting his head and licking his lips to the sight of the former Answers World Champion. Tension is rising between the two, and eventually Samael and Theron step up to one another. They stand face to face as they look each other in the eyes with evil intentions.)

Referee: Seven!!! Eight!!!!!

Dr. Doyle: SAMAEL!! YOUR MATCH!!!

Rich Russillo: The referee got to a count of eight pretty quick, and Samael quickly turns his head and attention to the ring. He gives Theron one last mean look before entering back into the ring to beat the ring out count!

James Peters: Samael rises to his feet.. BUT HE GETS KICKED IN THE MIDSECTION!!! He’s hunched over, as Roberto grabs him by the waist and lifts him upside down!!! He goes for it!!! THE CALLING CARD!!!! THATS THE PILEDRIVER BY ROBERTO DE LA ROSA, AND NOW HE’S TURNING SAMAEL’S BODY OVER AND GOING FOR THE PIN!!

ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEE!!!!!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

(‘Por Mi Mexico’ by Lefty SM Ft. Santa Fe Klan hits as the crowd gives a mixed reaction. Roberto De La Rosa slowly rises up to his feet, as Esmeralda slides into the ring with him. The two celebrate the hard fought victory, as Roberto raises his arm in the air while leaning against Esmeralda.)

Bella Braxton: Here is your winner.. EL PADRASTRO!!! ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!!!

Rich Russillo: What a match between these two Elitists. Obviously there was quite the controversy at the end wi-

James Peters: THERON NIKOLAS JUST RUSHED INTO THE RING AND IS NOW MOUNTED ON TOP OF SAMAEL!!! HE’S FIRING AWAY WITH RIGHTS AND LEFTS!! HE’S DELIVERING AN ABSOLUTE BEATING FILLED WITH NOTHING BUT ANGER!! EVERYTHING SAMAEL HAS DONE TO BOTH HIM AND NATASHA IS GETTING PAID IN FULL RIGHT HERE!! THERON ISN’T LETTING UP!! HE’S THROWING FISTS OVER AND OVER AGAIN, AND ALL SAMAEL CAN DO IS TAKE THE BEATING!!!

(Roberto and Esmeralda exit out of the ring as they have nothing to do with the chaos happening inside of the ring. After fighting Samael, Roberto wants no business in getting involved in something he doesn’t need to get himself involved with especially when Samael is a part of it. Dr. Doyle frantically exits out of the ring and rushes towards the stage to get some help as well.)

Persephone: And now look! Theron rises up to his feet. He grabs Samael by the wrists, as The Grim Reaper’s body lays limp. Theron looks directly into the eyes of Samael and.. HE BEGINS TO STOMP AWAY AT HIS FACE!! OVER AND OVER AGAIN IT’S THERON BLASTING HIS BOOT INTO THE FACE OF SAMAEL!! STOMPS!! KICKS!! EVERYTHING IS BEING THROWN AT SAMAEL RIGHT NOW WHILE HE’S IN THIS POSITION!!

(Suddenly a loud scream can be heard from Samael. He screams out once more, but this time we can tell that the voice is much more high pitched and childlike. This can’t be Samael can it?! No! It’s Michael!! Michael has just taken over Samael’s body! Theron hesitates to stomp again, as this sudden change freaks him out.)

Michael: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! OWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! STOP!! STOP, PLEASE SIR!!! IT HURTS!!!

James Peters: Wait a second.. Is that???

Rich Russillo: That sounds like Michael..

(Theron Nikolas looks confused. He stares back into the eyes of Michael.. But the hate filled eyes that were once consuming this man’s body are now replaced with innocent ones. This is not Samael anymore, and Theron is a little rattled from this entire experience. He hasn’t stomped down on Michael since hearing the screams, and slowly begins to back away. Suddenly, security rush into the ring, and grab Theron by the arm. Theron doesn’t even fight back though, because he is in such shock after what he just witnessed up close. He can’t figure out how or why it all happened, but the security is now escorting Theron up the entrance ramp, as Dr. Doyle has returned with some of the medical team. They can be seen walking past Theron and the guards, as they head towards the ring.)

Michael: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

James Peters: I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get used to this. Theron Nikolas certainly has his hands full.

(Dr. Doyle and the Medical team tend to Michael who continues screaming out in fear. We see Theron looking back towards the ring from on top of the stage, as Voltage fades elsewhere.)

(Commercial break for Corona beer featuring TLA, the official beer of the Poon Palace.)

(Voltage fades to the backstage area, and when this happens Drake King is seen walking through the hallway, in his wrestling attire for his match in the main event. The crowd begins booing extremely loudly once they see him, but the boos are short lived, as it turns out Drake is not the only member of the match in the area. The crowd explodes into cheers as TLA begins to make his way towards his tag team partner for tonight, both because the fans love TLA, and because they are interested in seeing what’s to come after what TLA did last week. Drake is still mad over that, and he has a look of disgust on his face as he turns towards TLA.)

Drake King: ..What do you want? I shouldn’t even be seeing your face after what you did, don’t think for a second that I actually want to team up with you.

TLA: Ayyyy pendejo I’m here to jump yo ass. Y’all best prepare for that assbeating. You know that there ain’t no escape I’m finna produce my lead pipe with the quickness.

(TLA takes out a rusty pipe and begins to advance towards Drake, who begins to take a few steps back. However, he stops at the last moment and puts the pipe back into his hoodie, a grin appearing on his face.)

TLA: Or at least that is what I was going to do. But y’all know that I went and walked on past that office. Jefe be stopping me from putting the hurt on you. Saying that I gotta wrestle in this main event. We gotta team up. But that ain’t good enough for me. Pero I tell him I be out for that sangre. So he say that we going to get that lucha. I done got that match made and we going to fight. But I ain’t going to fight you tonight you don’t gotta worry. Well you do gotta worry some cuz I ain’t even sure I can be trusted. I might attack you anyway but for now that doesn’t seem to be the case. Imma attack you at Wicked Games tho for sure. For real.

(TLA pulls the lead pipe out again and removes a piece of paper from the inside revealing a signed contract from Captain Charisma confirming the match between TLA and Drake King for Wicked Games as he hands it to Drake. Drake takes a second to look at it in disbelief, before finally turning back to TLA.)

Drake King: Excuse me? Why is this happening?? You went and destroyed my home! You shouldn’t even have a career right now, and you’re already getting this stupid Unified Tag Team Championship match for no reason. Why are we having a match??

(Drake once again looks at the contract, like he’s checking to see if it’s some kind of joke, but it isn’t. It turns out, at Wicked Games Drake King and TLA will be facing each other, and Drake clearly doesn’t like it one bit.)

Drake King: No, no no no no. I didn’t do what I did back at Rise of the Resistance because I was interested in a match against you. I have more than enough history with you in matches and I do not need to go through this again. I worked with Eden Sinclair because we wanted to make EAW better, which meant getting rid of you, not giving you a bunch of opportunities and marquee matches! I worked with Eden because I wanted you out of EAW, and after these past few weeks I have even MORE reason to want you away from this company. I don’t get it, was ruining a main event match and then traveling to the place I live just to tear it apart not enough to actually punish you for once? This wasn’t supposed to happen, and it’s not like I can just go to Captain Charisma and tell him that I don’t want this match to happen, because he never listens to me! You shouldn’t have a career right now. You were fired because you don’t belong on Voltage, now I have to spend Wicked Games facing you?

TLA: Si asi es muchacho. You know we about to get our wrestle on. But you ain’t even gotta worry about that casa for real. I done gave that homie an upgrade. You going to be back in Israel soon enough and you can get yo fiesta on. But we going to be getting that fiesta on in the ring first. Cuz I be back in the game you know that I have more of a career now than ever and imma be putting it to good use when you know we beefin’.

(TLA takes the contract back and folds it carefully into his pocket as he walks towards the Gorilla Position, ready to walk out for the upcoming main event that will be starting momentarily.)

TLA: Captain Charisma the homie but he be standing in the way of me laying into you right now so I gotta knock points off him on the homie tier list for that one. But I just may forgive him after Wicked Games depending on how things go up in there. Soy un vato muy indulgente, tengo mucho amor en mi corazón. You know I wasn’t even going to show up for this lucha tonight. I was like why I even want the Tag Titles but they be giving me the opportunity anyway. But then I realized that if we win the Tag Titles I will have the opportunity to see you every week and deliver these manos to you personally. So in the end it will all work out beautifully for everyone. Don’t you agree?

Drake King: What?? No, of course not! I don’t want anything to do with you! I shouldn’t be competing in matches against you and I definitely shouldn’t be teaming up with you, not after what you did! If anything, I should be…

(Before he could finish his sentence, Drake stops himself before beginning to think. TLA is clearly a bit confused seeing Drake cut himself off, but he still looks ready for his match, and has a smirk on his face after catching Drake off guard by getting that match confirmed. After a few seconds, Drake finally nods to himself before looking back at TLA and starting to speak once again.)

Drake King: TLA, I can’t forgive you for all of the horrible things that you’ve done, but if you’re willing to listen to what I have to say, we can settle things between us in a far more peaceful manner. We’ve clearly been placed in an unfavorable situation, and I’d like to fix that.

TLA: I’m not going to listen. Let’s fight right now.

(However, TLA looks over his shoulder and sees Captain Charisma standing down the hallway with a stern look on his face.)

TLA: Iight imma listen. But I’m not going to be listening peacefully. I’m going to be listening violently.

Drake King: TLA, I have a proposition for you. Just to make things clear, no matter what I do not intend to fight you at Wicked Games. The fact that Captain Charisma even agreed to have us face each other at Wicked Games after the things you did is honestly ridiculous, but I have a solution for that. You don’t deserve to have a wrestling career and I don’t think I can say anything more about that than I already have, but if you’re willing to come to an agreement then I suppose we can settle things in a more peaceful way, and I won’t have to take matters into my own hands. I’m not asking for much, really. All you have to do is drop out of the match at Wicked Games, and I won’t do what I already should have by now and press charges! After all, you were on live television doing what you did to my home. You’d be saving yourself a lot of trouble backing out of this match.

(Drake has a smile on his face after the proposition of TLA backing out of the match to avoid legal trouble, but TLA doesn’t look too impressed by the idea.)

TLA: Oh nah y’all gonna call the feds. You be wildin’. You know what happens to snitches you going to be getting all kinds of stitches. Imma go get my needle gonna stitch you up right here. Stitch that boca shut you know I be tired of listening. Gonna have to bust out the slammer to get that venganza in. You know that they ain’t able to contain me. I be slipping out of my cell in the middle of the night to creep up into yo casa and catch you sleeping. Catch you lacking and you know imma get that lucha in regardless. Y’all can’t stop me. You be pressing them charges but I be charging like el toro and you best move out the way or you getting flattened. I just be running in and gunning in. You know if we calling the match off then imma just have to lay hands on you right here. Make some more charges you know that we getting that assault in. I ain’t done nothing illegal tho. Imma good hombre you know that errythang I do is on the level but everythang I do is on the next level. Try and meet me at my level when you show up to Wicked Games and we going to throw down. You ain’t slipping out that easily you going to have to fight me whether you like it or not.

(TLA looks around for a second as the music begins to play out in the arena indicating that it is about time for the main event. They will have to get going shortly in order to compete for the Unified Tag Team Championships against The Prescription.)

TLA: Y’all try and press charges on me you know imma have to provide all of that evidence. Gonna have to let the courts decide how y’all tried to deprive a vato of he career on false pretenses. Gotta give that shoutout to the chica ARIA you know she done caught y’all red handed. You wanna go to the feds and play y’all games then imma beat you at that game too cuz not only did y’all discriminate tryna take my trabajo but you been harassing me ever since I got back playing yo music during my luchas. Interfering in all my luchas. You come at me you know I ain’t playing. Disney getting some too. Trust me you ain’t want to meet the kind of lawyers that the Poon Palace got. Y’all know that them abogados be making Saul Goodman look like a saint. Y’all about to find out.

(The smile on Drake’s face disappears hearing what TLA had to say. He can’t believe TLA would refuse to offer, and it takes a few seconds before he begins to speak.)

Drake King: I just don’t get it. You’re impossible. I tried to give you an easy way out of all of this, and that’s more than you deserve after what you did. You ruined my home, you’ve been ruining this company for years and I still tried to give you an opportunity to avoid legal trouble! All I asked you to do was back out of a single match, a match that shouldn’t even be happening! Seriously TLA, just think about it. Take the week if you need to. I’m telling you, you’re making a mistake turning down an offer like this-

(Drake stops as TLA just shrugs at him with a grin on his face, turning around and beginning to walk out for the upcoming Voltage main event match. It’s seemingly time for the match, and while TLA is pleased about the fact that he has the chance to get his hands on Drake at Wicked Games, Drake doesn’t look happy whatsoever about the whole situation. Drake just shakes his head, slowly beginning to trail behind with a furious look on his face.)

(Voltage returns to ringside, where Bella Braxton is seen with a microphone in her hand.)

Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen… The following contest is a TAG TEAM MATCH, scheduled for ONE FALL!!!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!

Bella Braxton: AND IT IS FOR THE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!

(‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by Tupac hits to extremely loud cheers as TLA finally walks out, still with the grin on his face that was seen moments ago. TLA looks pumped up and ready for this Unified Tag Team Championship match despite the Elitist he is currently teaming with, so before long TLA begins to make his way down the ramp. Eventually his music is replaced by ‘Cold War’ by Hans Zimmer, causing a huge mixed reaction as the fans are unsure whether to cheer for TLA or boo for Drake King, who doesn’t have a smile on his face as he walks out. Drake is still upset because of the conversation that happened backstage, and he stares directly at his partner as he makes his way down the ramp, not too pleased to have to team up with TLA after a conversation like that.)

Bella Braxton: Introducing first… At a combined weight of 430 pounds…. THE TEAM OF TTTTLLLAAAA AND DRRRAAKKEE THE REDEEMMERR!!!!!

James Peters: Honestly, I don’t know what to expect. I feel like the outcome here should be obvious when it comes to whether or not Drake and TLA will be able to work together, but we’ve seen stranger things happen. I don’t think they can co-exist, but if they pull off the upset just imagine how shocking of an ending that’d be!

Rich Russillo: It’d definitely be an interesting turn of events, but honestly with all that happened over the past few weeks, including that conversation backstage, I’m surprised they’re both out here right now.

(‘Enemy’ by Sevendust hits, and there is another mixed reaction as a spotlight appears on the stage. As always Dr. Bethany Blue is the first to walk out, and as she turns her back and fireworks shoot out, Sheridan Müller joins her at the stage. The two Unified Tag Team Champions look ready for tonight’s main event match as they stare at their opponents at the ring. Wearing their Unified Tag Team Champions, the two begin walking down the ramp. Dr. Bethany Blue looks confident and Sheridan Müller looks focused, just like they have throughout their time as a tag team, as their different approaches to wrestling has made them just as well of a team as their similarities. As they get to the ring it looks like TLA has decided to start off the match, so Sheridan Müller remains in the ring, starting off the match for her team.)

Bella Braxton: And their opponents… At a combined weight of 260 pounds…. THEY ARE THE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, THE TEAM OF SHERIDAN MÜLLER AND DR. BETHANY BLUE, THE PRREESSSCRRRIIIIIIIIIPPPTTIIIOOONNNN!!!!!!

James Peters: Here come the Unified Tag Team Champions, and if there’s one word to describe the Prescription throughout this reign, it’s dominant. These two have taken out every team in their path, and tonight could very well be another addition to the list!

Rich Russillo: This could potentially go either way and it’s all for different reasons, making this one amazing choice for a Voltage main event! I definitely expect this to be a more chaotic match, but I’m very interested in seeing how this goes!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

James Peters: Here we go! TLA and Sheridan Müller are starting this match off, and after what happened backstage I don’t think there’s any telling whether or not TLA will have an actual partner in this match! Either way he and Sheridan are circling the ring, waiting for the right opportunity to kick this one off! TLA GOES FOR A TAKEDOWN- BUT SHERIDAN HAS IT SCOUTED AND GETS OUT OF THE WAY! Back to square one now as the two Elitists both have to wait for the right time to strike, AND SHERIDAN LOCKS UP WITH TLA NOW!

Rich Russillo: TLA tries to go for a hammerlock but Sheridan stops TLA with a punch to the midsection, allowing her to lock TLA in a headlock! TLA quickly running into the ropes causing Sheridan to bounce off of them and let go of TLA, AND TLA GOES FOR A DROPKICK- BUT SHERIDAN HELD ONTO THE ROPES, CAUSING TLA TO HIT NOTHING BUT THE MAT! Really smart counter by one half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, putting her in ring IQ on display! Sheridan quickly running to TLA as he gets back up, AND SHE GRABS TLA BEFORE SPINNING HIM AROUND! ENDLESS FANTASIES!!

Persephone: NO! TLA DUCKED UNDER IT, AND NOW HE SPINS AROUND AND HITS SHERIDAN WITH AN ENZUIGIRI! Sheridan stumbles to a knee as TLA gets back up, and now there’s a backfist followed by a shoot kick to the midsection! TLA now kicking Sheridan in the stomach forcing her to double over, AND TLA GRABS SHERIDAN’S HEAD BEFORE DELIVERING A SNAP DDT! TLA kips up to his feet, and it sure looks like TLA is doing fine so far, but it’s too early to tell as Sheridan hasn’t even tried to make a tag just yet!

James Peters: TLA now, WITH A JUMPING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP ONTO SHERIDAN’S MIDSECTION, CAUSING HER TO SIT UP IN PAIN! TLA CAPITALIZES ON THAT THOUGH BY RUNNING THE ROPES, AND TAKING HER RIGHT BACK DOWN WITH A DROPKICK TO THE FACE! TLA quickly gets back up, AND NOW HE RUNS THE ROPES BEFORE LOOKING FOR A RUNNING SHOOTING STAR PRESS- BUT SHERIDAN IS FINALLY ABLE TO FIND A COUNTER AS SHE GETS THE KNEES UP, CAUSING TLA TO ROLL OFF OF HER IN PAIN! That was exactly what Sheridan needed to get back into this match! TLA starts to get back up, BUT AS SOON AS HE’S UP HE’S MET WITH A PUNCH TO THE MIDSECTION, QUICKLY FOLLOWED BY AN UPPERCUT!

Rich Russillo: TLA stumbles back into the Prescription’s corner as Sheridan delivers multiple shots to the midsection before finally hitting an elbow strike to the jaw, and now there’s the tag to Dr. Bethany Blue! TLA taking the opportunity to hit Sheridan with a forearm, and that causes her to stumble back! TLA going for another strike, BUT SHERIDAN DUCKS UNDER AND PICKS HIM UP, AS DR. BETHANY BLUE NOW QUICKLY RUNS THE ROPES!!! SPINEBUSTER AND LEG LARIAT COMBINATION BY THE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, AND DR. BETHANY BLUE GOES FOR THE COVER AS SHERIDAN EXITS THE RING!

ONE!
TWO!!

Persephone: YESS!!! TLA KICKS OUT!! I am so happy to see that! 😀

James Peters: Dr. Bethany Blue keeps the pressure on him though as she applies a rear chinlock, stopping him from getting back into this match easily! That right there was just another example of how great the Prescription really is when it comes to tag team wrestling, clearly thinking of hitting that combination on the fly once Sheridan was able to avoid that last strike from TLA!

Rich Russillo: Yeah, Dr. Blue is in control right now, but it looks like TLA is starting to power up to his feet! He slowly starts getting up to his knees before putting a foot down, and this forces Dr. Bethany Blue to have to transition into a headlock! From the looks of it that’s not going to do her any good though, AS TLA FINALLY GETS BACK TO HIS FEET AND NOW LIFTS DR. BLUE UP FOR A BACK SUPLEX- BUT THE EMPRESS OF ELITE FLIPS OUT OF IT ONTO HER FEET, AND NOW SHE GOES FOR A RIPCORD FOREARM- BUT TLA GETS AN ARM UP AND BLOCKS THE STRIKE BEFORE KICKING HER LEG OUT FROM UNDER HER, DROPPING THE CHAMPION TO A KNEE!

Persephone: TLA NOW ATTEMPTING A ROUNDHOUSE KICK, BUT THIS TIME IT’S DR. BETHANY BLUE GETTING THE BLOCK UP AS TLA HOLDS HIS LEG FOR A SECOND! Dr. Blue quickly gets back up, AND NOW SHE GOES FOR THE TJD- BUT TLA CATCHES THE LEG!!! Dr. Bethany Blue looks like she is in trouble as TLA is holding her by the leg, BUT BETHANY JUMPS UP AND CONNECTS WITH AN ENZUIGIRI OF HER OWN, CAUSING TLA TO STUMBLE BACKWARDS AND BOUNCE INTO THE ROPES!

James Peters: TLA RETALIATES THOUGH, DELIVERING A HUGE LARIAT AFTER THE REBOUND AS BOTH ELITISTS DROP TO THE MAT! Dr. Bethany Blue is recovering faster than TLA though, all because of the fact that she’s just recently been tagged in while TLA has been in the match from the start! TLA has made it to his corner though, and it looks like he’s making his way up the turnbuckles-

*TAG!*

James Peters: But… Drake King just tagged himself in! TLA just turned to Drake, and I think he’s a bit confused because of the timing of it! We all knew Drake wouldn’t be a good partner, but he just tagged TLA in just as he was about to head up top-

Rich Russillo: AND DR. BETHANY BLUE HITS TLA WITH A FOREARM TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD, CATCHING HIM OFF GUARD AS HE FALLS THROUGH THE ROPES!! SHE CLEARLY DIDN’T SEE THE TAG AS SHE WAS GETTING UP HERSELF, AND THIS HAS ALLOWED DRAKE TO GRAB HER BEFORE SLAMMING HER FACE INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! Dr. Bethany Blue stumbles back, AND NOW DRAKE GOES FOR A SPRINGBOARD KNEE STRIKE!!!

Persephone: NO! DR. BETHANY BLUE AVOIDED IT, AND AS DRAKE GETS BACK UP SHE KICKS HIM IN THE MIDSECTION BEFORE RUNNING THE ROPES! CONCUSSION PROTOCOL- NO! DRAKE BACKS UP OUT OF THE WAY AND GRABS DR. BETHANY BLUE! CROWN OF THORNS- NO!! THIS TIME DR. BETHANY BLUE MANAGES TO JUMP OUT OF DRAKE’S GRASP JUST AS HE TRIED TO CONNECT WITH THE BACKBREAKER! Dr. Bethany Blue now with an elbow strike that causes Drake to stumble back, AND NOW BETHANY RUNS THE ROPES- BUT DRAKE CATCHES HER BY SURPRISE AS HE RUNS IN WITH A SLINGBLADE, TAKING BETHANY OFF OF HER FEET!

James Peters: Dr. Bethany Blue is getting up, AND NOW IT’S DRAKE RUNNING THE ROPES AS HE LOOKS FOR HIS OWN VERSION OF THE CURB STOMP- BUT JUDGEMENT DAY DOES NOT CONNECT AS DR. BETHANY BLUE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! Drake heads over to grab Dr. Blue, BUT SHE PUSHES DRAKE’S ARM OUT OF THE WAY BEFORE LANDING A PUNCH TO THE MIDSECTION! DR. BETHANY BLUE NOW RUNNING INTO DRAKE, RAMMING HIM BACK FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLES AS DRAKE DROPS TO THE MAT! Drake isn’t down for long as he was the freshest competitor, and as he grabs onto the ropes to pull himself up Dr. Bethany Blue tags Sheridan Müller back in!

Rich Russillo: Drake now pulling himself off the ropes, BUT DR. BETHANY BLUE CONNECTS WITH A LEG SWEEP THAT’S FOLLOWED UP BY AN ELBOW DROP BY SHERIDAN MÜLLER! Sheridan now has the chance to get some revenge after Drake threw out their tag team match at Rise of the Resistance in order to get TLA fired, and that’s not even mentioning the fatal four way for number one contendership over the EAW Championship! Sheridan Müller now punching away at Drake King, and I can’t say this isn’t well deserved!

Persephone: Drake pushes Sheridan away and rolls towards the ropes, but Sheridan gets up and lands a bunch of hard stomps to Drake, forcing him to roll out of the ring entirely! Sheridan Müller already didn’t take too kindly to what Drake did, but inside of the ring she’s always been laser focused which means that Drake is in a lot of trouble now! Sheridan exits out to the ring apron, and it looks like she’s waiting for Drake to make it back up to his feet so she can deliver whatever move she’s thinking about!

James Peters: Drake now pulling himself back up to his feet, AND SHERIDAN RUNS ACROSS THE APRON BEFORE DELIVERING A RUNNING PENALTY KIC- WAIT!! DRAKE CAUGHT THE LEG AT THE LAST SECOND, AND NOW HE PUSHES SHERIDAN’S LEGS OUT FROM UNDER HER, CAUSING HER TO DROP FACE FIRST ONTO THE RING APRON! Drake now grabbing Sheridan and pulling her off of the apron, BEFORE SENDING HER I TO THE BARRICADE!! SHERIDAN IS STILL ON HER FEET, BUT DRAKE SLIDES BACK INTO THE RING BEFORE RUNNING THE ROPES!!! SUICIDE DIVE, TAKING SHERIDAN OFF OF HER FEET AS BOTH ELITISTS ARE DOWN AT RINGSIDE!!!

Rich Russillo: Drake is finally able to make it back to his feet, and now Drake sends Sheridan back into the ring before heading up to the top rope! Drake has his sights set on ending this match, AND NOW HE GOES FOR A PHOENIX SPLASH- BUT SHERIDAN IS ABLE TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY AS DRAKE ROLLS BACK TO HIS FEET!! DRAKE NOW-

*TAG!*

(Drake turns towards TLA, who has a grin on his face as he gives Drake a taste of his own medicine. Sheridan watches as the two Elitists begin to argue, and makes the tag to Dr. Bethany Blue as TLA finally enters the ring.)

James Peters: SHERIDAN MÜLLER RUSHES OVER TO TLA IN AN ATTEMPT TO LAND AN ATTACK, BUT TLA IS ABLE TO CATCH HER WITH A SIDE ELBOW! TLA NOW WITH A KICK TO SHERIDAN’S LEG, AND NOW TLA BEGINS TO RUN THE ROPES BEFORE-

Rich Russillo: TJD!!!!

James Peters: DR. BETHANY BLUE MIGHT HAVE JUST KICKED TLA’S HEAD OFF WITH THAT SUPERKICK, COMPLETELY OUT OF NOWHERE AS TLA DROPS TO THE MAT!!! SHERIDAN GETS BACK UP AND REMAINS IN THE RING IN CASE DRAKE ATTEMPTS TO BREAK THINGS UP, AND DR. BETHANY BLUE HOOKS THE LEGS AS THIS ONE MIGHT JUST BE OVER!!!

ONE!
TWO!!
THRE-

Rich Russillo: NO, IT’S NOT OVER YET!!! TLA GETS THE SHOULDER UP JUST BEFORE THREE, AND THIS MATCH IS STILL ALIVE!!!! Drake didn’t even get in the ring to break things up, probably still upset whether it’s because of TLA tagging himself in, or more likely what happened prior to the match with the confirmation of their Wicked Games match! Either way it’s pretty clear that only one team is working as an actual unit in this match, and if Drake and TLA don’t clean their act up that team may once again be walking out as Unified Tag Team Champions!

Persephone: Sheridan Müller gets out of the ring so they’re not disqualified, and now it’s between Dr. Bethany Blue and TLA to settle this! Dr. Bethany Blue now grabbing TLA, AND SHE SENDS HIM SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLES, RIGHT IN THE CORNER OF THE PRESCRIPTION! It doesn’t look like Dr. Bethany Blue plans to make the tag just yet, but keeping TLA as far away from his partner as possible is really smart. That’s exactly what we should expect from the Unified Tag Team Champions!

James Peters: TLA pulled himself out from between the turnbuckles and drops down into a seated position in the corner, AND NOW DR. BETHANY BLUE JUST BEGINS STOMPING AWAY AT TLA, TO THE POINT WHERE THE REFEREE IS FORCED TO START COUNTING, IF SHE DOESN’T STOP BY FIVE SHE’LL BE DISQUALIFIED!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI-

James Peters: And Dr. Bethany Blue finally backs off just before five, giving TLA just enough time to grab onto the ropes and start pulling him up! Dr. Bethany Blue doesn’t wait too long though, AS SHE KICKS TLA IN THE MIDSECTION! DR. BETHANY BLUE NOW LOOKING TO HOIST TLA UP, POSSIBLY FOR GRADE C2-

Rich Russillo: WAIT!! DR. BETHANY BLUE HAD TLA UP IN THE FIREMAN’S CARRY, BUT TLA BEGINS HITTING KNEES TO THE SIDE OF HER HEAD, CAUSING HER TO LOSE HER GRASP ON HIM! TLA NOW SLIPPING BEHIND DR. BETHANY BLUE, HITTING A DROPKICK THAT SENDS HER INTO THE ROPES!!! Dr. Bethany Blue drops down onto the middle rope, leaning her head and arms on it, and TLA quickly gets up and runs the ropes, not wasting a second! 305!!!! THE 305 CONNECTS, AND NOW TLA HEADS UP THE TURNBUCKLES ON THE SIDE SHERIDAN ISN’T AT SO SHE CAN’T SAVE HER PARTNER!

Persephone: TLA WITH A DIVING VERSION OF THE VERY MEXICAN UPPERCUT!!! THE VERY MEXICAN UPPERCUT DROPS DR. BETHANY BLUE, BUT AFTER ALL THE OFFENSE HE TOOK TLA IS SLOW TO MAKE IT TO THE COVER!!! TLA IS CRAWLING OVER TO DR. BETHANY BLUE, AND HE’S FINALLY ABLE TO GO FOR A COVER!!!!

ONE!
TWO!!
THRE-

Persephone: BUT IT WASN’T ENOUGH!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE KICKS OUT!!! THE 305 AND VERY MEXICAN UPPERCUT COMBINATION SOMEHOW WASN’T ENOUGH TO PUT THIS MATCH AWAY, I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!

James Peters: Those were two of the best shots TLA had to offer, and somehow it just didn’t get the job done! TLA now is starting to push himself back up, knowing that this match still isn’t over! It looks like TLA’s slowly starting to make his way to the top rope once again, and knowing TLA there is a large variety of moves he could be thinking about right now! The problem is, he’s worn out! I don’t know if he’ll be able to deliver this move before Dr. Bethany Blue could recover! This match has clearly taken its toll, we’re seeing that right now!

Rich Russillo: TLA has made it up top, and surprisingly it looks like Dr. Bethany Blue is still down despite the time it took TLA to get up there! This looks like a best case scenario for TLA, I think we might be seeing new Unified Tag Team Champions, and it’s a duo we never thought we’d see! BURNOUT!!!!

James Peters: WAIT, NO!!!

Rich Russillo: DR. BETHANY BLUE PLAYED POSSUM!!!!! TLA WENT FOR THE BURNOUT, AND THAT GAVE HER THE CHANCE TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY, DIVING OUT AND TAGGING IN SHERIDAN MÜLLER AS TLA CRASH LANDED ONTO THE MAT!!!

Persephone: TLA SLOWLY GETS BACK TO HIS FEET HOLDING HIS BACK IN PAIN- BUT HE’S IMMEDIATELY MET WITH A FLYING KNEE FROM SHERIDAN MÜLLER! TLA SLOWLY PULLS HIMSELF UP IN THE CORNER, AND SHERIDAN NOW RUNS IN BEFORE HITTING A HUGE ELBOW STRIKE, AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE PRESCRIPTION NEEDED, TLA IS IN A LOT OF TROUBLE ONCE AGAIN JUST WHEN THINGS WERE LOOKING PERFECT FOR HIM! Sheridan Müller now pulling TLA away from the corner, BEFORE TRANSITIONING INTO THE ROLLING CROSS ARMBAR, LOOKING TO TRY AND DO SOME DAMAGE AND POSSIBLY MAKE TLA TAP OUT-

James Peters: NO! TLA IMMEDIATELY LOCKED THE ARMS BEFORE GETTING TO HIS FEET AND PUSHING SHERIDAN’S SHOULDERS DOWN INTO A PIN!!!

ONE-

James Peters: SHERIDAN KICKS OUT AND RELEASES THE SUBMISSION- BUT NOW TLA LOOKS TO LOCK IN HIS OWN VARIATION OF THE CROSS ARMBREAKER WITH “CROSSED PATHS”!!! TLA GETS SHERIDAN DOWN, BUT BEFORE HE COULD LOCK IN THE SUBMISSION COMPLETELY, SHERIDAN RUSHES BACK UP AND LANDS A HUGE RIGHT HAND TO THE JAW, FORCING TLA TO LET GO AS SHERIDAN ROLLS AWAY FROM HIM! Both Elitists utilize that armbar, so I’m not surprised that they both knew how to counter it!

Rich Russillo: That’s a great point, and now-

(Suddenly, TLA is turned around as Drake grabbed him.)

Drake King: (off-mic) What are you doing?? Aren’t you going to tag me in??

(TLA and Drake argue once again, this time Sheridan taking the time to recover before suddenly running at both Elitists.)

James Peters: TLA JUST TURNED AROUND AT THE LAST SECOND, AND SHERIDAN MÜLLER HIT HIM WITH A HUGE BOOT TO THE FACE!!

*TAG!*

James Peters: AND DRAKE USES IT AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO TAG HIMSELF IN! SHERIDAN SAW THE TAG AND GOES TO ATTACK DRAKE, BUT DRAKE DUCKS UNDER BEFORE SENDING HIS SHOULDER INTO THE MIDSECTION!

Rich Russillo: DRAKE NOW ENTERING THE RING BEFORE RUNNING THE ROPES, AND SHERIDAN LOOKS FOR A CLOTHESLINE BUT DRAKE DUCKS UNDER IT, BEFORE BOUNCING OFF THE ROPES AND HITTING A BICYCLE KICK!! Drake now pulling Sheridan up, AND DRAKE LOOKS FOR ASCENSION-

Persephone: BUT SHERIDAN PULLS HERSELF OUT OF DRAKE’S GRASP BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!!! Drake responds with a forearm, now Sheridan hits an elbow shot! These two go back and forth, UNTIL SHERIDAN DUCKS DRAKE’S STRIKE BEFORE KICKING HIS LEG OUT AND CONNECTING WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK!

James Peters: SHERIDAN NOW PULLS DRAKE UP FOR THE SHERPLEX- BUT DRAKE LANDS A BACK ELBOW!!! SUPERKICK- NO!! SHERIDAN CATCHES THE LEG AND SPINS DRAKE AROUND BEFORE KICKING HIM IN THE MIDSECTION, AND NOW SHERIDAN GOES FOR AN IRISH WHIP BEFORE-

Rich Russillo: WAIT NO!! DRAKE PULLS SHERIDAN INTO A JUMPING KNEE INSTEAD, AND THIS GIVES DRAKE THE OPPORTUNITY HE NEEDED TO GRAB SHERIDAN AND DROP HER ONTO HIS KNEE WITH THE CROWN OF THORNS!!!! DRAKE KING WITH THE COVER TO PUT THIS MATCH AWAY!!!

ONE!
TWO!!
THR-

Rich Russillo: SHERIDAN MÜLLER GETS THE SHOULDER UP, THIS MATCH IS NOT OVER YET!!!

Persephone: Wow, I sure am glad that we’re getting to see such a great match for the Voltage main event. I’m SOO glad that it isn’t over yet either, it’s just perfect.

James Peters: Drake just shakes his head seeing that Sheridan Müller managed to kick out, and now he begins to back into the corner! Drake waits for Sheridan to get back up, and I think we all know there’s only a small list of moves he could be thinking about like this! Sheridan slowly starting to recover-

(Suddenly, TLA grabs Drake, much like Drake did earlier.)

James Peters: Uh oh. TLA is telling Drake off over what just happened a little while ago and pointing out the fact that Drake didn’t even finish off the match after doing that, meanwhile Drake is telling TLA to back off and let him handle it himself! These two clearly aren’t happy to be working together, and at this point their “partnership” is only hanging on by a thread-

Rich Russillo: OR NOT! TLA just shoved Drake, AND NOW DRAKE KICKS TLA IN THE MIDSECTION, DROPPING HIM OFF THE RING APRON- JUST FOR TLA TO GRAB DRAKE BY THE LEGS AND PULL HIM UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE AND OUT OF THE RING!!!!

Persephone: DRAKE HITS TLA WITH A RIGHT HAND, AND TLA KNEES DRAKE IN THE MIDSECTION BEFORE SENDING HIM UP THE RAMP!!! Drake starts to get back up, BUT TLA TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN BEFORE BEGINNING TO FIRE PUNCHES AT HIS OWN TAG TEAM PARTNER!!! GUYS, THE REFEREE IS COUNTING!!!!

Referee: ONE!…. TWO!…

James Peters: Sheridan Müller is up to her feet already, and the Unified Tag Team Champions are just watching as Drake and TLA have completely fallen out!! They never worked as a good team throughout this match so I can’t say this was entirely unexpected, but just look at them! Wicked Games isn’t for another couple of weeks, yet here they are already going at it!

Referee: THREE!…

Rich Russillo: DRAKE SHOVES TLA OFF OF HIM AS BOTH ELITISTS TRY TO GET UP, AND DRAKE RUNS IN AND LANDS AN ELBOW SHOT, CAUSING TLA TO STUMBLE BACK FURTHER UP THE RAMP!! DRAKE WITH A RIGHT HAND NOW THAT HAS THE SAME EFFECT, BUT TLA IS ABLE TO FINALLY RESPOND WITH A RIGHT HAND OF HIS OWN!

Referee: FOUR!… FIVE!…

Persephone: If I had to guess, those two aren’t coming back to the ring. Even if they were, I’m not so sure what good would come out of it seeing as they’re attacking each other! They just made the Prescription’s jobs much easier, and seeing the way they’re continuing to fight I don’t think they care even in the slightest! Drake and TLA are continuing to hit each other with strikes! Punches, elbows, forearms, they’re just throwing whatever they can at each other just because of the hatred they have for one another!

Referee: SIX!… SEVEN!..

James Peters: Things have definitely gotten out of control in the past few minutes, and I don’t think this will be fixed. These two are making their way to the back as they continue to fight, and is there even any point of continuing the count?? Persephone is right, there’s really no way this match could possibly continue at this point!

Referee: EIGHT!… NINE!…

Rich Russillo: Yep, that’s it! Drake and TLA are somewhere backstage, most likely continuing their brawl, and that means this match is over! They’re not getting back out here, just ring the bell!

Referee: TEN!!!!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Bella Braxton: Here are your winners by countout… AAANNDDDD SSTTIILLLLL YOUR UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS… SHERIDAN MÜLLER AND DR. BETHANY BLUE, THEEEEE PPRREEEESSCCCRRRRIIIIIIPPPTTIIIOOONNNNN!!!!!!

James Peters: I don’t even know what to say about that main event! It was a good match, all four Elitists are extremely talented, but it was obvious from the start that only one team was going to be able to co-exist, and in the end the lack of chemistry not only cost TLA and Drake the titles.. But it led them to a brawl that we can’t even see anymore!

Rich Russillo: I think lack of chemistry is underselling what we really saw between them, and that’s pure hatred. These two can’t work as a team, clearly. I guess the bright side is the fact that seeing them fight at Wicked Games should be extremely exciting.

James Peters: You’re right about that, but tonight isn’t about them. In the end, where their actions cost them, the Prescription was able to pick up another victory and continue what has been an incredible Unified Tag Team Championship reign! At this point we may have to start asking who could possibly stop them after so many have tried and failed!

Rich Russillo: Yeah, but that’s under the assumption that there actually is a team capable of doing so! Either way, congratulations to the Prescription for another successful title defense as we close out Voltage!

(‘Enemy’ hits once more, and there is a loud mixed reaction as Dr. Bethany Blue enters the ring, and the two Elitists are handed their Unified Tag Team Championships. They both look at each other, having expected things to end the way that they did tonight, and they have their hands raised by the referee, raising their Unified Tag Team Championships as Voltage begins to fade to black.)
