August was a great month for EAW, seeing two big events in Poor Unfortunate Souls for Dynasty, and Rise of the Resistance for Voltage just one week later! In the former, a huge title change would happen which catapulted the career of a rising Elitist on the red brand. It was such a huge victory that the Elitist in question is August’s Elitist of the Month, the new Interwire Champion Joso! Joso’s career had already been on the right track after winning the New Era Classic, but after earning an opportunity at the Interwire Championship in a triple threat against Ruler and the former Champion Andre Walker, Joso pulled out all the stops in order to win his first title in EAW! In the end Joso was able to do exactly that after pinning Ruler, a rival of his throughout the season, and this win would mark the ending of Andre Walker’s record breaking Interwire Championship reign, and mark the beginning of a new reign! Joso’s rise to this first title reign has been incredible to watch, and after the amount of Elitists who’ve failed to take that title from Andre, there’s no doubt that Joso managing to be the one to dethrone him will go down as an incredible achievement! Congratulations to the newly crowned Interwire Champion!
