During June, EAW saw its biggest event of the year with Pain for Pride XV! This was a huge event, absolutely delivering and giving everyone tons of memorable moments. One of the Elitists responsible for those moments was the Elitist of the Month for the month of June, Andre Walker! Andre Walker has been having a historic season in general, but he ended it in a way that absolutely writes his name in the history books for good. At Pain for Pride Andre Walker would dethrone the Visual Prophet to become the World Heavyweight Champion in the final match of Pain for Pride, but that’s not all that’d make this such a huge month for him. What helped make this even more special was the fact that Andre was already holding another Championship in the Interwire Championship, meaning that Andre Walker left his Winner Takes All match a double Champion. Andre Walker has had a fantastic Interwire Championship reign, and now Andre has managed to become World Champion before that reign could even come to an end. It’s an incredible achievement for the 2022 King of Elite winner, and absolutely one huge way to close out a Pain for Pride like this one.
