(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of last week’s Showdown. It starts with Veena and Charlie giving their thoughts towards their match at Road to Redemption, they are ready for anything and willing to do whatever to show how dominant they are. Nikki versus Roberto ends in a No Contest after Daniella interferes. Brianna Hill and Raeangel Guzman defeat TJ Alexander where Brianna stands tall attacking Raeangel after the match. Bronson and Kelton have a heart to heart that no matter what, the best man will come out winning out of that chamber. Cody Maverick defeats Charlie Marr. Ruler holds a congregation with all of the participants of the Chamber, everyone gives their thoughts about the match when TLA comes out last and out of nowhere everyone breaks out into a brawl between each other. TLA defeats Ryan Wilson by count-out when SOSA interferes and prevents Ryan from making it in, the two then break out into a brawl. Miku has an interview with Kyra where she is absolutely angry and won’t be willing to hold back when heading into RTR. And finally, in the main event, The Jaded Hearts and Harper Lee defeat Elysium and Milli Banks after a Miku interferance, Miku and The Jaded Hearts attack Kelton, Bronson and Milli while Harper leaves but Pandora and Halsey come out of nowhere to attack The Jaded Hearts, where they brawl at the parking lot where The British Invasion are able to stand tall and send a bloody message.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta. Fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the whole crowd can be seen cheering and being excited for the show. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators start talking.)
Eve: WELCOME EVERYONE… TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!
Deadprez: WE ARE JUST ONE WEEK AWAY NOW FROM ROAD TO REDEMPTION, AS EVERYONE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO ALL OF THE INCREDIBLE ACTION THAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN AT THE EVENT!
Gavin Kirkland: WHILE TONIGHT WE HAVE… no action really.
Eve: But we will be looking forward to hear the thoughts of all of our Showdown superstars when heading into Road to Redemption! But let’s not waste anytime as we start with-
Gavin Kirkland: THE SUPERNOVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
(After the camera panned along the ring and quickly focused towards the top of the entrance ramp, “Changed It” by Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne played on the speakers and the crowd got up to their feet once again super excited to see the Universal Women’s Champion make her entrance here in Calgary, Alberta. As finally, after the chorus started, Milli Banks made her way out with a confident expression on her face as she knew she was heading into one of her biggest challenges yet when it came down to defending her own championship that she has worked very hard to achieve up to this point, but either way, every week, every time she has had to prove herself, she has always been ready, she has always been determined to pull it off every single time, and that night, it won’t be any different.)
Eve: Once again, you truly have to wonder what is in Milli Banks’ mind when she is walking down the ramp towards the ring, because every single person inside of that match is truly hungry to take away her championship, either way, we know that she is ready for the task either way.
Deadprez: She said last time that it would be normal there would be some doubts for her when it came down to the actual match considering that the only time Milli was in a Chamber before it was one she lost, but it has been two years since that has happened and Milli is heading into it with all of the confidence in the world right now.
(Milli once again broke out her little dance for a bit to get the crowd hyped up but she quickly stopped as she was heading into this one seriously, she flaunted the Universal Women’s Championship around her waist, moving quickly and getting a few high fives from the people in the front row as she headed into the ring. She walked up the steel stairs and stood at the ring apron, raising her championship up and posing with it to loud cheers before moving through the ropes and asking for a microphone. Her music dies down after she gets it and once she sees her opportunity to speak, she gets it.)
Milli Banks: CALGARY, ALBERTA, HOW Y’ALL DOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGGGGGG?!
(The crowd cheers incredibly excited at Milli’s question and the support gets her to smile as she nods along and then speaks up.)
Milli Banks: By this point, you should be used to all of the words that I am going to say, and genuinely, it gets a bit tiring saying the same thing when I get in front of you to talk, but that is what makes me appreciate it in a way, because I get to truly express myself to people that are willing to listen to me unlike in front of a camera when I have to deal with delusional bitches that are going to drag me down and doubt me in every single opportunity about the tiniest and most insignificant things, and the worst part about it, I am going to have to deal with that for the whole week but like… 10 times worse because it is Road to Redemption week and everyone knows how that is going to go down in a Chamber match but whatever, I am not afraid of what the women in my match are going to put in front of me because I already know what is about to happen, I already know what to do and I am truly prepared for everything that they are about to throw at me because I have reached the point I can truly call myself a world champion.
Milli Banks: But Mills, you already champ! And yes, I know, big shiny championship here in my shoulder but it will matter even more because it is not only about the championship, it is about what you do with it, and coming out of that Chamber still your world champion, still the one who runs this place, still the woman that you can’t deny or truly overcome, that is what it means at the end of the day. And legit, I want to say the same about my opponents but damn, it looks like all of you collectively have gotten the shit kicked out of you at the same time and then have collectively decided to put all of the blame about it on me… oh wait, I DID beat most of you this year and the last one already! How funny. But seriously, let me try and run down every single one of you to be able to truly see how much of a threat you are.
Milli Banks: Let’s start off first with the women that have technically gotten a win over me, good job Bea, you were the woman who ended up stopping me from breaking a new record when it came down to it, getting it from another woman, but sure, let’s say you got it either way, you got your championship reign, you got your chances to truly prove yourself and show the world that you were worth it, and then welp, you lost it. The championship and the little bit of mind you have left if we being truuuulyyyy honest. And genuinely, I would not have a problem with it, sick in the head or not, I deal with underachieving bitches almost every week, and you out of everyone of them all, you are like the least annoying somehow, someway, so I will give you that. The only problem is that in the books, you have that win over me. And that is what I have to re-write and make sure I come out of that match to show you how big the gap is between us. And as for my good friend Holly, I obviously have no problem at all with her, said it just now, we besties and all but this is now or nothing, this is the chance that all of us have at becoming the world champion that we truly think we deserve to be, because Holly is chasing for a dream and a story that she has fought for so long and even though it will break my heart to see her not do it again, I said since day one that heading into that match, I am not holding back at all, and I gave her that warning shot at Dynasty last week to show how serious I am about those words. I will show her as well how I have grown leaps since last time we have met inside of the ring.
Milli Banks: While for KASAI, she has the problem that she has to climb up a slope with her bare hands, because this is not my first rodeo with her already, because I have already showed how much I am able to succeed over her, and even though she tried to do some absolutely insane reaching when it came to our match, she at least put up a good fight, but when it comes to Bea and Holly being in the match, Bea did “beat” me before and Holly fought her way in for this, but KASAI, that is when I truly have to scratch my head for a bit and wonder, maybe it was for your performance and all of that, and cool, I respect that. I won’t have any when I once again send you back to the spot that you are going to be stuck in for a long time, at the bottom of the mountain. And ugh, Camille, woooow, it feels like she is doing the same old “let me be an asshole now because I been too nice” phase almost every single veteran here in EAW has gone through and just because you frown your face a little bit more than usual won’t bring you the success that you believe you need, she tried to tell me somethings that genuinely did not matter to me back in Voltage last week and truly it won’t matter to me, that it is now her time, that it is now “her time” for redemption, no, heard all of that before last year in a different tone with different words and I am not willing to listen to her anymore when it comes to that. I am not willing to accept her words when I am the one here with the world championship and she is not. I will take everything that I know can be mine and genuinely, if she truly wants to prove herself and show she is not “washed”, there is always next year!
Milli Banks: And finally, the last person-
(At that moment, “STFU!” by Rina Sawayama plays on the speakers and Milli lets out a loud groan through the microphone and the crowd quickly turns hostile as well, booing loudly as none other than Miku Sakai comes out with a microphone of her own, walking along with an incredibly angry expression on her face while Milli is genuinely annoyed by this point when dealing with her.)
Deadprez: Well, yeah, I don’t think there is no need to explain this one, considering we have seen Miku deal with Veena and Milli for the past few weeks trying to get at them, I think Miku even herself wants to get some words in before the next event.
(Her music finally dies down and then she loudly shouts into the microphone.)
Miku Sakai: Seriously, what the fuck are we doing by this point?! There is no need for any more of your yapping Milli, it is now MY time to step up and be the one to talk here, because just like me, and I am sure everyone else in the locker room, they are tired of you continuing to take the spotlight, to act like you are the only possible person in the world that can only win the match that we are in, to act like you are such a saint for trying to beat up “the bad guys” and make yourself look like some kind of hero, trying to STOP me as well from getting my hands on Veena and winning that match?! No, no, no, I am done playing second fiddle for you and I am done playing nice by this point, because guess what is going to happen at Road to Redemption? You will be ridiculed! And by who? By Miku motherfucking-
Eve: MILLI JUST SPRINTED OUT OF THE RING AS FAST AS SHE COULD AND THEN JUMPED ONTO MIKU! MILLI HAS HAD ENOUGH WHEN IT COMES TO HER!
Deadprez: THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION NOT HOLDING BACK RIGHT NOW AND FINALLY LETTING OUT HER ANGER ON MIKU HERE! AS THE TWO THROW STRIKES LEFT AND RIGHT AT EACH OTHER TRYING TO TAKE THE OTHER ONE DOWN!
Gavin Kirkland: AND LUCKILY, THE SECURITY GUARDS AND REFEREES COME DOWN TO TRY AND SPLIT THESE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN APART! BE CAREFUL THAT THEY DON’T RUIN EACH OTHER’S BEAUTIFUL FACES, PLEASE!
(The security guards and referees rush down the ramp to grab onto Milli and Miku, pulling them apart away from each other as fast as they could and making sure they did not hurt each other before their actual match as at that moment, Showdown faded away to commercials.)
(The camera fades into a vignette focusing on the Extreme Enigma Battle Royal. Various clips of the Battle Royal from previous years is shown as well as some of the greatest moments from the man of honor Extreme Enigma himself. The vignette then transitions into the match picture for the event.)
(The scene then fades in to the De La Rosa estate in Hidalgo, Mexico where Luis De La Rosa is shown sitting next to a pool and sipping on the finest tequila.)
Luis De La Rosa: Buenas noches amigos. Welcome to my luxurious estate. When you are a De La Rosa you expect only the most excellence in every scenario. That is why Roberto De La Rosa is going to win the Answers World Championship on the very same night that I win the Extreme Enigma Battle Royal. It is simply the way La Familia rolls. I know that I am the favorite to win this match and everyone knows this is so. Amigos all want to see what match Luis De La Rosa is going to win and dominate next and this is finally my time and honestly everyone out here should be afraid to step in the ring with me. Porque I am De La Rosa royalty so a Battle Royal should be no thang. Get it? Recently I have been noticing that everyone in the crowd has been loving me as much as Persephone does. While she melts every time she gets a chance to see me at an EAW marquee event I also have all of the fine chicas in the audience flowing like waterfalls whenever I step in the ring. I can’t deny them any longer and for all the mamacitas out there I guarantee that I will be standing tall at the end of the night!
(The scene fades away to a boxing gym where Raeangel Guzman is shown pounding into a punching bag. She stops and wipes her brow before turning to the camera.)
Raeangel Guzman: So you people think that this is going to be a touch match for me? Nah I define what tough is here in EAW. I have been working my ass to the bone ever since my loss at The Last Stand and this is my chance to get back on track. This is my chance to send a message to everyone in this company just who the hell I am. I have been in the ring with former World Champions. With Hall of Famers. I have done everything in my career to advance to the next level and at Road to Redemption I will be snatching my redemption and I will be showing everyone out there why I need this win more than anyone else. Because I am not content just with trying and failing. I need to be the best. I need to win championships. I should have everything that everyone who they call Hall of Famers or World Champions have. I DESERVE IT ALL! And I’m coming for it all. Get ready EAW because you are dealing with someone who when she sets her mind to it… can take anything and everything away from you!
(The scene fades into a small independent wrestling promotion where Brianna Hill is shown hurling fat neckbeards out of the ring as she easily wins the battle royal being held in a small town gymnasium. After the match she grabs the microphone and addresses the crowd.)
Brianna Hill: Listen up you sweaty hogs! That is the kind of dominance that Brianna Hill is all about! I just had to come out here to remind you all just who the hell I am. I had to remind you all of the distance between me and the average person. The problem is that in EAW nobody is average. We are dealing with Elitists. The best of the best. So I have a real challenge on my hands but despite that I have vowed that I will show everyone just how far I have come. I will not let my career growth stop. I will continue to rise and heading into 2025 the name on everyone’s lips as the next top star in EAW will be none other than Brianna Hill. I won’t be hanging it up I won’t stop until I get what I deserve until all the work that I have put in here for the past year and more has paid off. I won’t stop until I can take everyone in the Extreme Enigma Battle Royal as easily as I just took out all of these nobodies here in whatever the hell this bumfuck town is. You know what you people don’t deserve me fuck off…
(The scene fades into a wealthy looking apartment in London, England. TJ Alexander is shown wearing a suit and tie as he sips tea and greets the camera warmly.)
TJ Alexander: Greetings EAW faithful. It is I, TJ Alexander here and you are of course looking at the very next winner of the Extreme Enigma Battle Royal. You know I am something of an enigma myself… maybe people around here just don’t seem to know who I am just yet. I am quite fresh to this EAW business. But that should not let anyone discount me or my chances of winning this whole match. No on the contrary it is in fact I who has the advantage here. For to be an enigma in this match is a far bolder strategy than any of my more predictable opponents will employ. In fact I know exactly what each and every one of them is capable of but they are unaware of exactly what I am capable of. I assure them however, that what I am capable of is truly vast… I am not one to be trifled with as they shall soon see! For they have all been struggling far longer than I, but soon I shall usher in upon this great company the Age of Alexander!!!

(The camera has cut back to the arena where there is a brief moment of silence before the sounds of ‘Kostas’ by Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine & Benny the Butcher fill the arena as Cody Maverick enters the arena to the sounds of a mixed reaction from the crowd, but Cody doesn’t care at all about the negative reactions as he heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time “THE SIN CITY SUPERSTAR” CODY MAVERICK!
Eve: Here comes Cody Maverick heading to the ring and there’s no doubt that he is going to have something to say about his match next week at Road to Redemption when he faces Donovan Duke in that special Thirty Minute Iron Man match.
Gavin Kirkland: He’s probably going to tell the world about how he’s going to completely destroy Donovan at Road to Redemption. Honestly? I am all for it. That screwball hillbilly needs to be knocked down a peg or two… and I mean even more than the pegs he’s fallen himself.
Eve: You know you’re such an asshole sometimes. We know you’re rooting for Cody, but can you be less obvious about it? Cody looks to be in a pretty confident mood after a strong victory over Charlie Marr.
Deadprez: After the match, Cody came over to our commentary table where Donovan was providing some guest commentary during Cody’s match and he got right in Donovan’s face which led to another staredown between these two. It’s going to be interesting to see what Cody has to say about last week and it looks like we are about to find out.
(Cody walks by Gina Romano and grabs a microphone from the timekeeper’s table before sliding into the ring. His music starts to slowly fade off as he waits for the crowd’s reactions to die down before he begins to speak.)
Cody Maverick: When I had time to think about last week, I am actually pretty happy that the pain in the ass Donovan Duke was actually at ringside because that meant he had a front row seat to my match with Charlie Marr and how I dominated him.
Cody Maverick: I hope that little Donny Duke was paying attention to the match because what I did to Charlie Marr is going to be a small fraction of what I am going to do next week in our Thirty Minute Iron Man match.
Cody Maverick: As I beat the hell out of him, the bell isn’t going to save him in this match. He has to endure all the pain and the torture and the agony for thirty minutes as I destroy his career once and for all… even more than he’s been destroying his own career.
(The crowd had a split reaction to what Cody said. Half of the crowd went “OHH” while the other half booed Cody because that was a very cheap shot.)
Cody Maverick: Even my fans get it. They realize that Donovan is not the hot commodity that he thinks he is. The ones that boo me just don’t understand it, but they will when I annihilate your precious country bumpkin and become the wrestling superstar that he wishes he could be.
Cody Maverick: And if Donovan Duke has any sort of problem with what I have been saying, then I more than welcome Mr. Cash in the Vault to come out to the ring and tell me exactly what’s on his mind.
(Cody looks up the entrance ramp and waits for Donovan to come out to the ring. After a few moments of waiting, Donovan has yet to appear and Cody rolls his eyes.)
Cody Maverick: That’s exactly what I thought. Donovan has finally come to his senses and realized that he has no shot of beating me next wee–
(Before Cody finishes his sentence, he is cut off by the sounds “I Rise” coming over the speakers and the crowd started cheering loud and proud because they know who this music belongs to. Seconds later, the cheers get louder as Mr. Cash in the Vault, Donovan Duke, enters the arena with his briefcase in hand. He doesn’t have his usual smile on his face as he has a stoic look of determination on his face as he looks down the ramp towards Cody before walking to the ring with a purpose.)
Eve: Ask and you shall receive because here comes Donovan Duke and Donovan is not his usual happy and smiling self. You know that when that happens, Donovan means business and he is ready to go.
Gavin Kirkland: Or he realizes that he is in a bunch of trouble at Road to Redemption. Donovan does NOT have what it takes to beat the rising star that is Cody Maverick. He should just take that damn briefcase and knock some sense into himself.
Eve: Just shut the fuck up, Gavin. Seriously. The show isn’t even over yet and I am annoyed with you.
Deadprez: Donovan Duke is one of the most technically gifted wrestlers in all of EAW, so an Iron Man match is right up Donovan’s alley. Either way, this is going to be a very hotly contested match and I honestly am excited to see it. Right now, it looks like we are going to hear the rebuttal from Donovan Duke.
(Donovan also grabs a microphone from Gina Romano as his eyes have not left Cody. Donovan steps onto the apron and enters the ring. He steps up to Cody and once again gets face to face with him as his entrance music fades off and Donovan brings up the microphone to speak.)
Donovan Duke: First off, let me make something perfectly clear. I am scared of NOBODY! I am intimidated by NOBODY and NOTHING! I don’t care how mad you get at me because of your personal frustrations.
Donovan Duke: You see yourself as using this challenge to step up your game and further make your statement as a threat not just on Showdown, but in all of EAW. I can respect that, but it all started when you threw the blame onto ME!
Donovan Duke: Look, Cody. I didn’t accept this challenge to knock you down or kill your stock value in this company. But I did accept it as a personal challenge because of the environment and the fact that I am not going to let you blame me for what is truly no reason and let you get away with it.
Donovan Duke: At Road to Redemption, you are going to see why I am considered one of the best in ring technicians in EAW today and why I am going to be the Iron Man of this match. But even with all the frustrations and this disdain you have towards me, I am realizing something.
Donovan Duke: Even when you are trying to treat me like garbage, I do respect you as a competitor who I won’t take lightly. Now no matter how much you say you don’t like me, deep down you respect me and I am going to make sure you acknowledge it. Starting now!
Donovan Duke: I’m a competitor who can put personal frustrations aside and acknowledge the respect I have for someone. Can you do the same?
(Donovan sticks out his hand for a handshake and Cody is looking at Donovan as if he is not playing with a full deck. Cody has not made any motion to return the handshake as the crowd chants “DO IT”!)
Donovan Duke: Come on, Cody. Be the competitor you say you are and shake my hand, Cody… and may the best man win.
(Cody looks at Donovan before looking down at his hand as he eventually returns the handshake and both men try to pull the other in, leading to a stand off in the middle of the ring. Cody and Donovan are having a staredown in the middle of the ring with both men having looks of determination and… almost a look of respect between the two rivals and competitors.)
Gavin Kirkland: You can stop shaking his hand now, Cody. Now just clobber him in the face and put him out of his misery and hopefully we won’t have to see him ever again.
Eve: I am not going to acknowledge that, but what I am going to acknowledge is how there is something strong building up two very determined and very strong competitors as they head towards Road to Redemption and the Iron Man match.
Gavin Kirkland: Damn, you are so mean to me. I was going to say that, but I was just going to say that Cody is a rising star and he is going to dominate the wrestling “savant” Donovan Duke next week.
Eve: Of course you think that.
Deadprez: Whether either one of them wants to admit it or not, there is a little bit of a mutual respect between these two competitors and these two have all the making of stealing the show at Road to Redemption and I can’t wait to see it. Duke. Maverick. Thirty Minute Iron Man Challenge match. This is going to be good.
(The final shot shows Donovan and Cody still having a staredown in the middle of the ring and neither have let the handshake go. Both men are silent as they stare daggers into each other as the scene fades elsewhere.)
(The camera changed backstage.)
Kyra Philips: Hello, Showdown fans; we are drawing closer to Road to Redemption, and with that event on the horizon come many exciting matches and significant title defenses! While we talk a lot about the World Championships getting put up for grabs in the Chamber match. We should also give attention to the other titles that’s going to be defended at the event as well. One to look out for is the Specialist Championship match between Nikki Kimura and reigning Champion Daniella Atlas! Here to give her thoughts on her upcoming match is Nikki Kimura and-
( Silas Mason walks into frame, right alongside Nikki Kimura — he had a smirk standing next to a hyped up Kimura. )
Kyra Philips: Silas Mason.
Silas Mason: Oh come on, let’s get more energy going. I mean in a week we’re going to be witnessing history! You’re going to witness Nikki Kimura win her first Championship in EAW and not just stop there. From there she is going to have a Hall of Fame career, raking up every single title that comes her way! All of that starts at Road to Redemption and I would hope you would reciprocate that excitement! Unless you’re not a fan of Nikki?
Kyra Philips: I…never said that. I was just going to ask how prepared she is for this match, and how she has been preparing to face someone like Daniella Atlas. I mean we saw last week just how destructive she can be. I was curious to know how Kimura has been training to go against that kind of destructive force.
Silas Manson: Come on, you know a magician doesn’t reveal their secrets. Trust me when I say, Nikki Kimura is so prepared for this match that whoever Atlas thinks she’s stepping into the ring with — is not gonna be it.
Kyra Philips: But last week-
( Silas lowers Kyra’s mic.)
Silas Manson: Last week was a fluke, poof, gone — not canon. We don’t look towards the past unless the past has something good to say about the present. While you want to dig up dirt and muddy people’s names. Nikki Kimura and I are living in the present, thinking about the future. That future Kyra has Kimura winning the Specialist Championship and bringing it home to Showdown.
( Nikki taps Silas shoulder.)
Nikki Kimura: May I?
Silas Manson: Of course the floor is yours.
Nikki Kimura: I am confident that I can take Daniella down, I am confident that I have what it takes to become a Specialist Championship and carry on the legacy that came before me. I’ve had a bumpy ride in EAW, ever since my debut. I felt out of place, the one person that was by myself abandoned me and I had to figure out things on my own. Thanks to Silas, I am able to finally climb the ladder and get the opportunity I’ve been hoping for my entire career! I am not going to let this pass me up! I will do everything in my power to take Championship off of Atlas’s shoulders and-
( Nikki was interrupted by slow clapping, Silas takes a step back seeing the Specialist Champion Daniella Atlas step into frame. )
Daniella Atlas: Fine speech, I like the passion but it’s going to take more than passion to take this belt off of me. See Kimura, I understand where you come from. I understand that you had a hard road, getting to this point — the biggest match of your career — it wasn’t easy. I know this because I was in your shoes once upon a time, the only difference is, I grew and evolved to be the most dominant woman holding this belt. You on the other hand, continued to look to guys like him to hold your hand and get you opportunities. I’ve seen your match with Raeangel Guzman, you got a spark but the fact is that I could have done the same thing ten times quicker and with less of a struggle. Silas giving you this so-called “hype”, is just leading you straight into a death sentence. Cause there is no way in hell that you’re even close to ready to fight me. Let alone BEAT me for this Championship.
( Daniella points at Silas. )
Daniella Atlas: And I want YOU to tell her the TRUTH, she isn’t ready.
( Nikki slaps Daniella’s hand away, making Atlas turn her attention back to Kimura! They both stare each other down. It looked like Kimura was ready for a fight and Daniella was egging her on, hoping she throws the first punch! Before she could however, Silas steps between the women and manages to separate them! )
Silas Manson: Now, now that’s enough, let’s save this for the bright lights and give the people their money’s worth. Don’t need you hurting Atlas before your match, that’s going to get you in trouble Nikki.

Neither Veena nor Charlie look to be in the best of moods as they head to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen! Please welcome to the ring at this time… VEENA ADAMS! CHARLIE MARR! AD INFINITUM!
Deadprez: Here comes Veena and Charlie and they both look to be in very bad moods especially after what went down last week.
Gavin Kirkland: Is anybody else glad to see Veena! I guess Charlie is alright too since he’s with Veena. But I am glad Veena is here.
Eve: Once again going off topic, Gavin. But last week, Charlie lost a match against Cody Maverick and that was NOT what he wanted going into Road to Redemption. What might set them off even more is the fact that they called out their opposition earlier that night and they got no response.
Deadprez: Charlie and Veena are representing Showdown in a love triangle of a different sort when they go into a Triple Threat Tag Team Showcase at Road to Redemption against the represented teams from Dynasty and Voltage. Right now, it looks like we are going to hear from Ad Infinitum.
(Charlie and Veena grab microphones from Gina before they enter the ring. Both competitors aren’t really amused as the entrance music fades off and they bring up their microphones to address the crowd.)
Charlie Marr: After what happened last week, do you really expect us to be in a really good mood? I hope not because we are NOT!
Veena Adams: And we aren’t talking about that crap that went down during Charlie’s match last week against that crybaby Cody Maverick. We’re talking about what happened earlier in the night on Showdown.
Charlie Marr: What Veena means is when we kicked off Showdown and called out our opposition for Road to Redemption and were answered with the sounds of silence.
Veena Adams: That’s right. Nobody came to the ring last week and that’s all we needed to know about Dynasty’s and Voltage’s representing teams. It’s either one of two things, Charlie.
Charlie Marr: They either don’t take us seriously enough as opponents in this match which is a dumb mistake because I am a Hall of Famer and Veena is a future World Champion.
Veena Adams: Or they are intimidated by us and they couldn’t muster enough courage to come out to the ring. I don’t blame them. We are the team to beat especially since our opponents are a bunch of little bitc–
(Veena and Charlie are cut off by the sounds of “I2I” by Magnolia Park playing before the crowd started cheering for the entrance of Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts, Fire and Ice. They have strict business, but sort of amused, looks on their faces as they have microphones in their hands and they head to the ring.)
Eve: Things are starting to get interesting as we see Dynasty’s representing team in the form of Raven Roberts and Rex McAllister, known as Fire and Ice. Former Tag Team Champions Fire and Ice.
Gavin Kirkland: Oh, who cares about them. They were Tag Team Champions? Good for them? Now they are the old bags of this match. If you want a perfect representation of looking and acting sixty before they’re forty, there you go.
Deadprez: Will you quit that? Fire and Ice are not old at all. They have still got it and they showed it recently as they had a hard fought tag team victory on the last Dynasty. Will their experience advantage as a couple and a team be enough to give them the victory? Who knows, but we are about to hear from Fire and Ice.
(Raven and Rex slide into the ring and get face to face with Veena and Charlie. Fire and Ice’s entrance music starts to fade out as they begin to speak.)
Rex McAllister: Thank gawd we got out here soon enough because now we don’t have to hear Charlie and Veena continue spewing this crap from out of their mouths.
Charlie Marr: Wait a second! Who the hell do you think you are talking to? This is OUR show and you show us respect!
Raven Roberts: Show respect to you and that blonde bimbo? You have got to be joking.
Veena Adams: The only joke around here is you and your husband thinking you have a chance to win this match.
Rex McAllister: Of course we think we are going to win this match. Unlike you two living in a constant state of delusion, Raven and I live in reality and the reality is that there is no chance in hell of you winning.
Charlie Marr: If you are so damn confident in yourselves, why didn’t you two walk your happy asses down to the ring last week when we call you all out?
Rex McAllister: And give you two any sort of satisfaction to make you believe that you have the power and the control of this situation? Yeah right. It was better watching you two get mad.
Charlie Marr: You think it’s funny watching our challenge go unanswered?
Rex McAllister: Yeah, we do. Since we are on the subject, you aren’t the only Hall of Famer in this match so you can just accept the fact that you two don’t have the advantage you think you do.
Charlie Marr: You two won’t be so smug as we are kicking your asses next week. Honestly, I can’t wait to beat the shit out of you, Rex.
Veena Adams: Don’t forget that whore of a wife he has.
Raven Roberts: The human mattress is calling me a whore? That’s funny. Get off your back and say that to my face.
Charlie Marr: You are just jealous of Veena. Shut the fuck up!
Rex McAllister: You won’t be talking as much trash with your teeth knocked out of your mouth and your bald head skidding across the ring.
(While they continue to yell and argue with each other, they are all cut off by “Somebody Get Me a Doctor” by Van Halen starting to play. Everybody in the ring is starting to get really annoyed as Dr. Bethany Blue and Adam Lucas enter the arena. They also have microphones in their hands as they head to the ring.)
Deadprez: The action keeps getting more interesting as we now see the final team in the Showcase coming to the ring in the form of Voltage’s Dr. Bethany Blue and Adam Lucas. At least they look like they are in a good mood.
Gavin Kirkland: If one boring married couple wasn’t enough, now we get Dr. Bethany Blue, who is extremely gorgeous by the way, but she’s bringing that doormat of a husband of hers with her. Can’t she leave him in the car and crack the window?
Eve: I thought you were a big fan of Adam’s, Gavin? Either way, the duo who now call themselves The Royal Elite are looking to royally kick the asses of the other two teams at Road to Redemption like they did on Voltage to Bea Valentine and Michael Machina. Two former World Champions make up this team and we are about to hear what they have to say.
(Bethany and Adam also get into the ring and join the group, who are all just glaring at The Royal Elite as their entrance music fades off and they start to speak.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: Isn’t it sad, Adam? Two experienced teams like this brought down to the level of bickering and arguing like little bitches. We’ll be doing the world a favor when we rip their tongues out the old fashioned way.
Adam Lucas: Either of these teams need to seek help if they think they are taking this victory because everybody knows that The Royal Elite are leaving victory.
Charlie Marr: Excuse me. Did your wife give you permission to talk, bitch? Until then, you need to shut the hell up, bitch.
Dr. Bethany Blue: Coming from the old, bald has been who is only relevant because he’s fucking the Chairman’s niece. That’s funny.
Veena Adam: Coming from a crazy bitch.
Raven Roberts: In all seriousness, if any couple is going to win this match, it’s going to be the married duo of Fire and Ice.
Adam Lucas: More like Barely Smoldering and Melted.
Rex McAllister: Very funny. Come over here and talk all that trash.
Adam Lucas: Gladly. That’s because The Royal Elite are going to win this match.
Charlie Marr: In your fucking delusional fantasies, Mr. Bethany Blue.
(The six competitors in the ring are just arguing and fighting amongst themselves before Dr. Bethany is the first to get fed up with all the arguing.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP! I AM TIRED OF THIS SHIT!
Veena Adams: Stop bitching and do something about it. Better yet, what are you gonna do? Put yourself to sleep? That’d be doing the rest of us a favor because your existence is just killing us.
Dr. Bethany Blue: Actually….
(Bethany quickly stops talking and drops her mic before she catches Veena in the face with a punch. Quickly after, bedlam erupts and everybody starts fighting.)
Eve: AND HERE WE GO! EVERYTHING HAS BROKEN DOWN AND ALL THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE TAG TEAM SHOWCASE ARE BRAWLING IN THE RING!
Gavin Kirkland: SOMEBODY NEEDS TO GO SAVE VEENA! NOBODY BETTER HIT HER PRETTY FACE OR I WILL COME UNGLUED!
Eve: You will do nothing of the sort.
Deadprez: THESE SIX ARE JUST BEATING THE HELL OUT OF EACH OTHER IN THE RING… WAIT A SECOND!
Eve: Dr. Bethany Blue just escaped the ring and nobody has noticed. She is jogging over to the other side of the ring AND SHE GRABS ADAM BY THE LEG AND PULLS HIM OUT OF THE RING!
Gavin Kirkland: The other two teams are two busy fighting that they really didn’t notice what just happened. Now they are just watching what is going down in the ring.
(Security and extra referees have made it to the ring as they start trying to break up the fighting as The Royal Elite start slowly walking back up the entrance ramp. The crowd is booing the sight of the security, and they begin chanting “Let Them Fight”!)
Eve: Looks like Voltage started this fight, and Voltage is the one leaving watching all the chaos unfold. It wouldn’t surprise me if this was their plan in the first place. Security have slid into the ring and the crowd aren’t happy about it.
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t blame them. I wanna see Charlie and Veena beat the hell out of the rest of these losers. I hope that Bethany and Adam are proud of themselves. Leaving with the psychological advantage and some mind games over their opposition. GO SHOWDOWN!
Deadprez: What a fight this is going to be at Road to Redemption when these three teams officially meet in the Interbrand Triple Threat Tag Team Showcase. Fire and Ice representing Dynasty. The Royal Elite representing Voltage. Ad Infinitum representing Showdown. A match that is definitely heating up.
(The final shot shows security and referees still trying to break apart the fighting between the two remaining teams in the ring before cutting to Adam and Bethany still backing up the entrance ramp while they watch the chaos unfold with devious smirks on their faces as the camera fades elsewhere.)
(Saturday Night Showdown returns from a commercial break with ‘Olé’ by The Bouncing Souls playing over the PA system as Ryan Joseph Wilson is greeted by loud cheers from the crowd. Wilson dressed in his casual attire tags fans by ringside while making his way to the ring.)
Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLMEN, PLEASE WELCOME!… RYAN!… JOSEPH!… WILSON!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: We are just a week away from seeing this match in its entirety, and we can’t wait to see what’s about to unfold between these two great talents on our roster. The story of Ryan Joseph Wilson is worth the anticipation, and it’s all coming our way soon!

(Ryan steps into the ring and grabs a microphone from under the corner. As his theme music fades, the crowd erupts into loud cheers, with chants of “Olé!” growing even louder once the music stops. Ryan can’t help but smile, clearly moved by the overwhelming reaction from the audience.)

Ryan Joseph Wilson: I’m doing great as well. It’s great to be back home, and just like the week I won the triple-threat main event in front of my hometown, it’s truly amazing to do what I must in front of my beloved people. My career here has been full of ups and downs. It’s been approximately 7 years and 4 months since I signed my contract with EAW. I’ve scored some big victories, I’ve lost when it mattered most, I’ve lost a lot, and I’ve fought hard to be here. I’ve been a part of many crucial events, won the EAW New Breed Championship back in 2021, and made a name for myself. I’ve done a lot in my career except becoming the EAW National Elite Champion. That, right now, folks, is my goal. SOSA Henderson is the current prizeholder of the belt, and he’s my marked man. But before we get to that, I would like to speak more about what it means to be back here and what this moment is truly all about.
Ryan Joseph Wilson: Showdown has always been my home. It’s the place where the name Ryan Joseph Wilson was born and etched into history. It’s the brand that has been my proving ground for a very long time, and even now, after all these years in my career, it remains the place where I continue to prove myself every day. There’s nothing wrong with having to prove yourself because, one way or another, it shows whether you belong here or not. If you don’t prove yourself, you risk throwing away all the momentum and opportunities you’ve built. Over the past few years, I’ve competed across three different brands—on Voltage in 2021, before returning to Showdown in 2022 for a run with Xander Payne as part of Dominion though that wasn’t exactly a fond memory. Then came 2023 on Dynasty, which was a particularly tough year for me, given how challenging the competition was. And now, here I am, back on Showdown in 2024, preparing myself for yet another big challenge as I step into the ring to fight SOSA Henderson in my home country.
Ryan Joseph Wilson: And… here we are, folks! Road to Redemption 2024. We’re just one final stop away from the show, and it’s amazing to wrestle in my hometown, isn’t it? Last week was quite a spectacle. I wrestled against the Answers World Champion himself, and it was an honor to give him a true fight, just as he gave me one. Now, as for what happened after the match, Henderson gave me a gesture that translated into an underestimation of my ability, and I had to do what was necessary to teach an overconfident champion a lesson. Now, there’s been some skepticism thrown my way that I’ve noticed during the match like Henderson comparing me to TLA and suggesting that I don’t deserve the same respect he does, trying to make this match seem predictable, and whitewashing everything I’m about to bring to the table at Road to Redemption, all while dismissing the contributions I’ve made to this brand leading up to this very moment as meaningless. Well, folks, while the champ is entitled to his opinion, I have one of my own to express about him, and that is… I don’t give a shit what he thinks!
Ryan Joseph Wilson: These people, my people, here in Canada are the reason I believe in myself. They trust me. They believe that Ryan Joseph Wilson will one day become a champion, and that day is drawing closer, SOSA Henderson. You are in my homeland. You are an intruder stepping into my territory, and you will be driven away before I rip that title you hold dear right out of your grasp. You, an overconfident man who thinks underestimating my abilities is the way to defeat Ryan Joseph Wilson, will find yourself proven wrong. I will beat you in front of these people and claim glory for all Canadians across this great land. This will be the biggest win for Canada since the Canadiens won the Stanley Cup in 1993, because in 2024, Ryan Joseph Wilson will become the EAW National Elite Champion!
(‘Faneto’ by Chief Keef hits, interrupting Ryan as he turns his attention toward the stage. The EAW National Elite Champion, SOSA Henderson, steps out, draped in his drip with the National Elite Championship proudly slung over his shoulder.)
SOSA Henderson: Cut my music.
(Henderson, holding a mic in hand, begins to speak while making his way to the ring.)
SOSA Henderson: I’ve heard you, Ryan. I’ve heard what you just said. I can respect your dedication to this and how much you are willing to fight for the championship… but let’s talk some sense as well.
(While Henderson speaks, he steps up onto the apron and comes face-to-face with Ryan Joseph Wilson. Henderson continues speaking directly to Ryan, removing his sunglasses to look him in the eyes clearly before delivering his next words.)
SOSA Henderson: I think it’s very sweet for “your people” to hear you out. But I don’t care about any of that. None of it matters. You do, though, because I have to beat your stupid ass at Road to Redemption. So, let’s set the record straight. You’re calling me an overconfident champion while you, a challenger, are out here claiming that you’re definitely going to win this championship? Ryan, have we not learned from history? With that mindset, you cannot, and never will, be a champion ever again. And just because Road to Redemption is taking place in your hometown, it doesn’t mean you have a homefield advantage against me. None of that is going to shake me, Ryan, because even if this match took place in another country or even in my hometown, you would still be destined to fail just like you’ve been doing on the big stages over the past few years. But right now, you might think I’m wrong because, apparently, you won your triple-threat match in your hometown. You beat Cody Maverick and Donovan Duke to become the number one contender for my championship, and here you stand. But Ryan, that was Cody Maverick and Donovan Duke. They can’t lace my boots, and neither can you. So don’t try to use a weak example to form your belief heading into this battle, Ryan. The belief that you think you have a chance to take me down doesn’t work the same way.
SOSA Henderson: This is SOSA Henderson. This is your EAW National Elite Champion, and I’m on a level far beyond those men you defeated, motherfucker.
SOSA Henderson: However, It’s just the truth. I’m not in a position to underestimate you at all, Ryan. Like they said on commentary, you’re just not good enough for this. You’ve been here for years, but your senior status means nothing if it doesn’t align with the success you should’ve achieved by now. You’ve tried, and you’ve failed to become what you desire so many times. You have no one to blame but yourself. When I beat you in front of these people, they’ll realize that their country’s hero has no excuses when the villain seizes the day and destroys the happy ending you’re craving. So don’t act like a sore loser little bitch after the match if you don’t win. Just admit that you’re still not as good as you think you are, no matter how hard you try.
Ryan Joseph Wilson: See what I’m talking about, folks? You’re only good at talking trash, but that didn’t matter when you tried to win the World Heavyweight Championship or the Extreme Elimination Chamber last year and failed at both, did it?
(Crowd gasps.)
Ryan Joseph Wilson: Folks, I thought it would be a common trope for SOSA Henderson by now that bursts of greatness followed by periods of inconsistency. Road to Redemption is shaping up to be yet another year where you fail to walk out as EAW National Elite Champion, especially if you keep giving me this attitude. I don’t care that you’re a champion; it doesn’t mean you automatically deserve my respect if your title doesn’t define the man you are. You’re too fixated on predictability, and that blinds you from seeing the opposite. Since you brought up learning from history, as much as I hate to mention it, Ronan Malosi beat Theron Nikolas to become the EAW Interwire Champion in his first defense last year. That’s what you call unpredictability. I don’t have to like the guy, but it’s the truth. You can’t predict what’s going to happen. As much as you think you know it all, you can’t see your failure coming, only the success you’re hoping for. That’s the difference between us. I see success coming my way because I’m willing to take that belt off you and become the champion!
SOSA Henderson: Huh? Who the fuck do you think you are? Do you even hear yourself talking? I’m the superior champion; I’m doing whatever I want! Why should Ryan Joseph Wilson and his little opinions dictate my actions or anything I’m doing? As a matter of fact, why should I care if it bothers you that much? You know what else should bother you? It’s when I beat your ass in front of these people, and you fail to deliver on your empty promises.
Whether this is predictable or not, the outcome is already set in stone, and I don’t even have to tell these people what to think. No matter what I say, the result will remain the same for both of us, Ryan. You can talk all you want about how this match will go down, but it won’t change a thing. Your words have been empty for a long time, and they’re already meaningless, holding absolutely no weight to back up your argument. You’re a false prophet to these people who blindly follow you like sheep, but I’m going to bring you into the light. I’m going to bring you to face the truth. I’ll expose you in front of these people, revealing who’s truly hiding behind that mask. Soon, you’ll understand that you’ve gotten ahead of yourself once again.
SOSA Henderson: You don’t get to talk about what’s going to happen to a champion if you’ve never been one like I have. Maybe you’ll get your chance someday, but I’m sure your kid will grow old enough to witness it first. Fuck man, I even doubt it. Your kid will probably get married and have kids of her own before you even become a champion!
(Crowd gasps yet again, but they boo at the champion.)
Ryan Joseph Wilson: If you want to bring family into this, let’s see. Maybe I’ll become a champion by then, or maybe not, but at least I’ll have a family. Meanwhile, you’ll probably still be struggling to find an actual family that loves you unlike—
Gavin Kirkland: Oh, and the champion is clearly not going to take that! He just struck Ryan in the head with the microphone in his hand, tossed the belt away, and now the brawl intensifies between the champion and the challenger!
Eve: Henderson takes Ryan down by both legs and starts raining punches all over him while Wilson is already defenseless!
Deadprez: The champion now gets to his feet and prepares to put Ryan away for good. He positions himself at a distance from Wilson, who is unaware of the danger as he’s still overwhelmed by pain under pressure!… HENDERSON LEAPS TOWARD WILSON FOR STOLE YOUR BITCH!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Wilson manages to see it coming and pushes Henderson toward the ropes instead as he bounces back!… WILSON CUTS HENDERSON IN HALF WITH A ROLL THROUGH SPEAR, FORCING THE CHAMPION TO IMMEDIATELY RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE’S STANDING TALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Henderson is prone on the outside, clutching his gut in pain while Wilson remains in the ring, watching the champion who just got hit by his signature move. With that, Wilson finds the EAW National Elite Championship, picks it up high, and shows it to the camera as ‘Olé’ by The Bouncing Souls plays in the background amplifying the moment.)
Gavin Kirkland: And there you have it! At Road to Redemption, Ryan Joseph Wilson will be preparing to claim another hometown victory on the big stage by defeating SOSA Henderson for the National Elite Championship! We’re just a week away from finding out who will walk out with the championship!
(Final shot displays Wilson looking down at Henderson, who is starting to get back to his knees, glaring at Ryan with a look of vengeance as Wilson holds the championship high as the scene fades into a commercial break.)

(The camera fades to ringside where Kennedy Street stands in the middle of the ring, there are two tables next to her and in the middle on the podium is the Unified Tag Team Championships.)
Kennedy Street: Oh Calgary, this city has been very good for Kennie when she was an active competitor, winning my first World Championship in this very city.
(The crowd erupts in cheers, some boo.)
Kennedy Street: Even though this place is full of horse and bull dung, it still will always be special to Kennie.
(Now the crowd boos as she smirks.)
Kennedy Street: But enough about me, let’s talk about the huge match that we have at Road to Redemption. Two teams that are very well known on Showdown, and now with one being drafted to Voltage, we will see the greatest team of all time against possibly the biggest underdogs of all time and personally, one of the hottest teams around. It will be The British Invasion taking on The Jaded hearts.
(Hearing the two teams, the crowd does give a loud reaction considering that is going to be a great match.)
Kennedy Street: So, allow me to introduce at this time…. The challengers! Pandora Paisley and Halsey Neel… THE BRITISH INVASION!
(Refuse/Resist by Sepultura starts to play throughout the arena. The fans stand to their feet, a lot cheer considering the huge British presence in Canada. There are some boos as both Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley walk out ready to fight in their street clothes.)
Deadprez: Here comes The British Invasion and they are no strangers to the Showdown brand! They did show up last week after the Main Event. We saw both teams fight out into the parking lot where The British Invasion took advantage of the grueling match that The Jaded Hearst had and left them laying.
Eve: The British Invasion are huge underdogs, and if they defeat The Jaded Hearts it could be considered the biggest upset in the history of the EAW that didn’t involve Shaker Jones.
Gavin Kirkland: The fact you mentioned Shaker Jones in 2024 makes me want to vomit…. But MY HELLCAT IS HERE!
(The British Invasion make it around the ring, Pandora walks up to Gavin Kirkland and kisses him on the cheek as he falls out of his chair.)
Eve: WE NEED MEDICAL FOR GAVIN KIRKLAND! A WOMAN KISSED HIM!
(Pandora smiles as Halsey chuckles, but they are all business as they both roll into the ring. Halsey shakes the hand of Kennedy, then Pandora hugs the General Manager, as she is part of the family that mentored her.)
Kennedy Street: And now…. The Unified Tag team Champions…. Kassidy Heart and Sienna Jade…. THE JADED HEARTS!
(“True Love” by CFO$ starts to play throughout the arena. The crowd boos at Kassidy Heart but they erupt when they see Sienna Jade the hometown girl walk out and they do not look very amused after what happened last week both on Showdown and on Voltage.)
Deadprez: The British Invasion eye them down as they remember both beat downs, the Jaded Hearts were able to get some small advantage on them, but it was broken up by officials before it got out of hand for either team. Listen to this ovation for Sienna Jade!
Crowd: SIENNA!!!! SIENNA!!!! SIENNA!!!!

(Kassidy and Sienna both enter the ring and are not face to face with Pandora and Halsey. They four women are jaw jacking each other. Pandora with Kassidy and Sienna with Halsey but Kennedy Street is not about to let this happen.)
Kennedy Street: Good to see you again, ladies, but the stunt last week both on Showdown and Voltage did not go unnoticed. This is a contract signing honey and we are not going to have any of that. So please…. Come out here.
(Suddenly the fans stand as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police come out, there are a dozen of them, two on their horses as the crowd goes nuts and starts cheering.)
Kennedy Street: We are going to make sure there is a contract signing and nothing more ladies. So please, take your seats, Kennie has the contract in hand and would like for all of you to take your seats and let’s sing this, huh?
(It takes a few seconds before Halsey and Pandora go to one side of Kennedy, Kassidy and Sienna on the other.)
Kennedy Street: In one weeks’ time, the Unified Tag Team Championship will be on the line at one of the biggest and the last Marquee Live Event of 2024 in Edmonton, Alberta. The British Invasion are a team Kennie knows well, personally help training Pandora and seeing her get a huge opportunity warms Kennie’s heart….
(Before she can finish, Kassidy cuts her off.)
Kassidy Heart: Okay… enough of this shit. Nobody cares about what you did with her and how she trained, because none of you Street bitches did a good job at training that loser anyways. The fact is all of the attention should be focused on the greatest tag team of all time, we cannot be defeated and how many times do we have to prove it? Here’s the thing Kennedy, we are not interested in listening to you or them. This is a mere inconvenience for us, but we during the Holiday season are at least willing to give to charity and those in need. If you are really going to entertain all of this and the narrative is that these two talentless hacks actually have a chance against us, then you must be joking.
(Pandora though answers back.)
Pandora Paisley: Funny, that’s the same promo you cut on Minerva last Road to Redemption, and she beat your arse, love.
(The crowd oohs as Kassidy slowly starts to stand as does Pandora.)
Pandora Paisley: This is your game, flower. You love to defame every single wrestler that faces you, and yet we were that bloody close from defeating you at Pain For Pride: Kingdom. Everyone knows that you are the best Kassidy. There isn’t a single person in this arena or in the ring here that will argue this. But there comes a time when every great wrestler and team falls, and sometimes it is to those that are rising above all else. Halsey and I have been busting our arses for this moment and we will not be denied.
Kassidy Heart: Busting your asses? You two are LOSERS on Voltage and were LOSERS on Showdown. You have never won anything of importance and on top of that, need we go back just a couple of weeks on Voltage when the entire British Invasion looked like jokes? None of you won your matches, and your team is so important that Captain Charisma has booked you as a tag team in only a few matches this season.
Pandora Paisley: And yet, every time we have stepped in the ring with any of these huge stars, have they beaten us clean? Have they been able to take us down without some bullshit, love? No, even your decrepit limp dick husband had to cheat to beat The British Invasion.
(Kassidy and Pandora are now both on their feet.)
Kassidy Heart: Mention my husband again and you won’t make it to Road To Redemption, Beeker.
Sienna Jade: Hold on…. Hold on. Now let’s be a little honest here. You two bitches really think you stand a chance against us at Road To Redemption, yet look at us. We ARE the stars of the EAW. (The crowd erupts in cheers, they stand up to their feet as Sienna stands up herself and points at them, while The British Invasion do not look amused.)
Halsey Neel: Yeah…. And next week we are going to beat you two and take those titles in your own province, mate.
Sienna Jade: You only wish, because what we have here is a perfect case of delusion. Come on Halsey, Pandy, look at yourselves in the mirror, “love”. What do you see? A bunch of underachievers that will always be in OUR shadow and I’m about to make a prediction, a little spoiler alert if you will, when we are done, Kassidy and I will enjoy seeing another tag team pretty much split up and you two will go on your own and do nothing but fail.
(The fans cheer but both Halsey and Pandora do not look amused.)
Halsey Neel: That is what you want, Sienna because it will fit the narrative that you want to tell, but we are undefeated as a tag team this season, and while we were split up for that stupid tag turmoil tournament, Pandora and I always found a way to persevere and survive. That is what we have been doing since even the days of Devolution. You two have had almost everything basically handed to you in recent months, even dare to say the last year, why? Impact. Methuselah, just in general this has all been nepotism, but we don’t need for Kennedy or for Captain Charisma to gaslight us, Pandora and I know we are good enough to beat the Jaded Hearts and become the Unified Tag Team Champions.
(Kassidy and Sienna both look at one another before breaking out in laughter.)
Kassidy Heart: We are done playing word salad here, just give us the damn contract so that we can sign them.
Kennedy Street: It is right here, so please Jaded Hearts, check it out, and please sign.
Kassidy Heart: Bitch please, I don’t have to read anything, I know what we are getting into.
(Kassidy yanks the contract out of Kennedy’s hand and looks at Sienna, they both look over it very closely before taking out the pen and signing it.)
Sienna Jade: We went ahead and signed it, next week will be a vacation for us, And after we retain the titles, we never want to see you two losers ever challenge us again, we only do charity but only a couple of times.
(The Jaded Hearts hand over the contract to Kennedy who then gives it to Pandora and Halsey. The British Invasion look over it, and they both nod and sign. Pandora and Halsey stand as The jaded hearts then walk up to them as they are face to face, Kennedy looks on.)
Pandora Paisley: Don’t worry, love. We are not going to do anything, because we are going to save it for Road to Redemption. But one thing, you two are wrong. When we win the Unified Tag Team Championships, it will be the two of you that it will be the last time we ever need to deal with, because The Jaded Hearts, will simply be fucking history.

(Kennedy now steps away as “True Love” starts to play throughout the arena, The jaded hearts raise the Championships while The British Invasion glare at them and the titles.)
Deadprez: It is official, and Kennedy Street made sure that there was no violence tonight! This is going to be a show stealer, but the question is, can The British Invasion upset The Jaded Hearts? A tough task.
Eve: Could we be seeing a new team rise? Or another challenger fall? The British Invasion will get that chance.

(The two teams continue to stare down each other as the camera fades into a commercial break.)

Eve: Ah shit! We knew this was going to happen! All hell has broken loose!
(Harper Lee comes sliding back into the ring with a steel chair and hits both members of Elysium across the back. TLA then comes off the top rope and throws Ruler out of the ring with a Hurricanrana. Roberto De La Rosa hits a Dropkick sending the steel chair into Harper’s face as she flies across the ring to the corner. TLA then kicks Roberto in the gut as he goes for a Mexican Destroyer-)
Deadprez: Ah shit here comes EAW security, and they are trying to break this thing up!
(TLA throws Roberto aside as he kicks an EAW security guard in the gut and flips him over with a Mexican Destroyer dropping him on his head! Suddenly everyone else in the ring begins attacking the security as well and throws them out of the ring before turning back to each other!)
Eve: These people clearly don’t want to wait until Road to Redemption! Elysium just put Ruler on the announce table! Bronson Daniels off the top rope with a Shooting Star Press to Ruler through the announce table!
Deadprez: But one of Ruler’s druids hopped out of the crowd and pulled Ruler away in time! Bronson crashes and burns! But Jon Kelton grabs Ruler and rams him headfirst into the steel barricade! Kelton is tearing up the floor outside the ring as he grabs the druid and drops him with a Piledriver headfirst into the exposed concrete!!! Damn he just snapped that guy’s neck!
(TLA is shown leaping out of the ring with a Suicide Dive taking out the next wave of EAW security as they come running down to the ringside area. Harper Lee is shown grabbing TLA’s championship as she attempts to sneak away but is stopped by Roberto De La Rosa who hits her with a Flying Corkscrew Splash from the top rope.)
Eve: It’s clear that we might not have enough guards backstage to contain this thing! These six might just keep on fighting all week long until Road to Redemption!
Gavin Kirkland: Harper is in danger! Someone help her!
Deadprez: This is a massive scene of destruction out here and we haven’t even gotten to the Extreme Elimination Chamber just yet. This whole arena might be burned to the ground by the time the night is over!
(As if moved by Deadprez’s words, Ruler is shown throwing a fireball into the face of Jon Kelton who screams and falls to the ground at ringside before the feed fades to black as TV time remaining runs out.)
