(EAW intro plays.)
(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. After that is done, a brief recap of last week’s events are shown to bring the viewer up to speed with what happened as the road to Territorial Invasion has begun: Andre Walker lays down the law with Drake King and Joso by using his Gawd Contract to force former New Eden partners Minerva and Myles to team with King in War Games while Joso will have to face Andre directly at the upcoming marquee event, derailing his plans for a world title match. In the opening match, Issac Crowe continues his momentum as he defeats AJ Redding and Clayton Golde. Afterwards, Raven Roberts and Rex McAllister discuss bringing Fire and Ice back and they agree to it. In the next match, Daniella Atlas defeats Mikhaila Barra. Drake Armstrong is interviewed by Michael Belfort still recovering from his injuries but he promises that he will be in the world title picture again sooner rather than later. Chiyo Gedo is able to beat Damien Kutcher, stamping himself as the one next in line to fae BRAE for the New Breed Championship. Kirk Redwood comes out and talks about his loss at Reckless Wiring but says that it doesn’t derail his plans of challenging for the Interwire Championship. Chris Elite comes out and pitches his own plans of going after the title, causing some tension between the two, but Hans Grayson steps out and accepts Kirk’s challenge. Still, Chris lets it be known he’s got next regardless of who walks out as champion. Kirk proceeds to defeat Mattias Burke. Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant discuss who could captain Team Dynasty and Cy Henderson overhears, offering himself up. Kensingten and Richard take up on this after Cy makes it clear he wants to change his often shoddy luck at Territorial Invasion, and he gets the role. Selina Reyes defeats Mia Santoro. Minerva comes out to express her reservations with a forced New Eden reunion for War Games due to her obvious history and hatred of Drake King, and he comes out, saying he doesn’t like this at all either but they’ll need to work together one more time, especially to stick it to Andre Walker. Soon, some members of the Showdown and Voltage roster come out and try to jump the two, but Drake is able to work with Minerva to drive them away. Shinzo Sasaki and Vincent Mondrian ends in a double contest after a competitive match, with neither competitors happy about it, but Cy watches on, impressed with what he saw. Myles comes out and expresses his own displeasure with the Territorial Invasion situation as he wanted to defend his title, but Cy comes on out and challenges him to a match on the go-home show, which Myles accepts, rectifying that issue. In the main event, Chris Elite defeats BRAE.)
(With the recap out of the way, Friday Night Dynasty emanates live to everyone from the Sparks Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. The arena is shown off before the shot transitions to the inside, where it’s completely packed. The fans are on their feet, holding up signs and cheering loudly as the camera pans across the sea of enthusiastic faces. The atmosphere is electric, with the crowd buzzing in anticipation for the action-packed night ahead. The lighting in the arena is vibrant, casting dynamic shadows across the ring as the production crew captures every moment with precision. Pyro explodes from the stage, and the sound system blasts the show’s theme song, sending the fans into an even greater frenzy.)
(Eventually, the shot transitions over to the classic Dynasty commentary team of Stew-O, Flannery McCoy and Jake Mercer, who are all ready and eager to kick things off.)
Stew-O: EAW UNIVERSE, THANK YOU FOR TUNING IN, AND WELCOME TO FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY! WE ARE HERE IN AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, AND WE ARE OFFICIALLY ON THE ROAD TOWARDS TERRITORIAL INVASION WHICH WILL BE TAKING PLACE SEPTEMBER 21 AND 22 AT THE OLYMPIC STADIUM IN SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA! STILL, THERE’S PLENTY OF TIME FOR US TO GET THEIR AS THINGS ARE JUST STARTING TO SHAPE UP FOR THAT EVENT!
Jake Mercer: Absolutely! We already have our War Games team set with Myles, Minerva and Drake King representing us! … Even if they had no choice in the matter. :lupe: They made it known they would rather not be in this sort of predicament, but the Gawd Contract is the law here, and whatever the holder of it says, goes. Still, it isn’t all bad, is it?
Flannery McCoy: It’s a bit of an icky situation, but Minerva, Myles and Drake are on paper a strong team, not to mention that Drake has seen success with them post-New Eden fallout. Of course, he along with Minerva and Hikari Kanno won War Games for Voltage in 2022, and last year at the Christmas show, Drake teamed with Myles and Jake Smith in a winning effort. They’re not completely incapable of teaming together, but I’m sure Minerva and Myles thought in their respective cases that would be the last time they would have to be Drake’s partners.
Stew-O: Well, here’s hoping that those three can squash their lingering tensions just for one night, especially with the teams that are forming. Showdown as Veena Adams and former Dynasty stars in Milli Banks and Bronson Daniels —
Jake Mercer: GOD IS GOOD! GOD IS GREAT! GOD IS GOOOO-OOOO-OOOO-OOOO-OOOOD! :singing: BRONSON DANIELS IS GOING TO GET EVISCERATED AND FURTHER FALL INTO BEING A CAREER FLOP! I CAN ALMOST CRY! I CAN’T WAIT FOR IT!
Flannery McCoy: I don’t know if I’d go that far…
Stew-O: At any rate, Showdown’s team is established while Voltage is still piecing things together. On the Brand Warfare side, Cy Henderson is captaining what he dubs as Team Rebel 2.0, and he’s looking to put together a team that can help Dynasty go back-to-back with wins this year.
Jake Mercer: Cy Henderson is the GOATiest of GOATs, so I have no doubt he will piece together THEE winning team and Dynasty can continue being the best show in all of EAW! Last season was ours, and that isn’t going to be changing at all this year. 😌
Flannery McCoy: Definitely a lot to look forward to. Still, we are an entire month away from Territorial Invasion, so there’s time. But speaking of that event, we’re going to kick things off with someone who thought their path towards that show was going to be just a little bit different than he anticipated.
(After the introductions from the commentary team, ‘2024’ by Playboi Carti hits, and the fans get up on their feet, going wild. Joso steps out not long afterwards and he stands within the center. He looks around the arena and even gives the fans a slight nod to acknowledge them, but it’s clear as day that he isn’t here for pleasantries. Not after everything that has been transpiring between himself and the returning Andre Walker. Keeping a more serious look on his face, he heads towards the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time the 2024 King of Elite… JOOOOOOOOOOSOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Stew-O: And what an ovation for this young man right here! Joso is here, and it should come as no surprise that he has nothing more than business on his mind! He hasn’t been happy ever since Andre Walker made his return at Reckless Wiring, and doubly so after last week when Andre used his Gawd Contract to stop him from using his King of Elite opportunity to face Myles at Territorial Invasion. Now, Myles will be in War Games for Dynasty alngside is former New Eden mates Drake King and Minerva, while Joso will have to take on Andre himself.
Jake Mercer: Now, I like Joso just like anyone else, but whatever the Kaiser says goes. Too many people got comfortable talking down on him while he was away, and he had to set things straight, reminding people that when it comes to him, there is no fall off. Joso likely thought that he could sneak on by and not have to worry about him, but clearly, that wasn’t the case.
Flannery McCoy: Well if you ask me, that sounds more like Andre himself being a little insecure about how clothes view him rather than people talking down on him.
Jake Mercer: (dramatic gasp) INSECURE?!! THEE ANDRE WALKER!?? HOW DARE YOU, FLANNERY!? HE SHOULD USE HIS GAWD CONTRACT TO PUT YOU OUT OF A JOB FOR SPEWING SUCH BLASPHEOMY!
Flannery McCoy: You’d like that, wouldn’t you?
Stew-O: Either way guys, there’s no doubt that Joso hasn’t been pleased at all as just when it looked like he was going to be next to step up to Myles, Andre got in the way. Their paths have crossed, and it looks like he will have no choice but to confront Andre himself at Territorial Invasion. For now, let’s take it to the ring where Joso stands, having a microphone in hand.
(‘2024’ fades, leaving Joso in the ring as the fans continue to rally right behind him.)
Crowd: JO-SO! JO-SO! JO-SO! JO-SO!
Joso: Man… it really do be annoying whenever people don’t get off your case, don’t it?
(The fans cheer, signaling their agreement with him.)
Joso: At least I ain’t alone in that feeling. Doesn’t make it less annoying, though. See, I think I speak for everybody when I say that I thought Andre Walker would stay away for a bit. I mean, that’s what he does best whenever things don’t go his way. He loses a match, he screws off for months at a time, and it’s actually peaceful here in EAW! The promotion continues to thrive without him. No one bats an eye. People hardly even remember that homeboy is gone. People occupy his supposed-untouchable spot and we all live our lives normally. It’s dope. But sure enough, he wanted to rear his ugly head back into this place, let alone this brand which I have never ran away from, never took a break from, and he came down with the hammer, wanting to do what he can to try and get in the way of things because he’s too much of a bitch boy to be an actual man and handle things straight up. But hey, that’s Andre for you. It’s the usual. He always has to take drastic measures to remind people he’s someone we shouldn’t look over. I mean, ain’t this around the time last year when he started tweaking and put Jake Smith on the shelf all so he can get a match with Chris Elite cause after Bronson Daniels beat his bitch ass he wanted to feel some type of way? At the very least he beat Chris and got the Gawd Contract, but it’s a clear pattern with him, and honestly? I’m tired of it.
Joso: I ain’t impressed with Andre feeling like he can come back uninterrupted and push his weight around as if he owns this brand or even this promotion as a whole. When he showed up at Reckless Wiring, he took all the attention away from me and hell, even Drake King. I don’t like bro and never will cause he’s a dumbass, arrogant dickhead who needs to finally call it quits especially when there is nothing for him to accomplish, but at the very least, we wanted to settle things by ourselves but we couldn’t even get that. And now, after last week, just when I thought I could try and salvage things by finally getting my world title match, he got in the way of that, too. Used that dumbass contract to stop me from facing Myles, and in the process, Cy Henderson was able to call his shot instead.
(Joso shakes his head.)
Joso: I ain’t gonna front with any of y’all. I’m still fuming from that. Bro stepped on my moment not once but twice, and it’s become aggravating to deal with. I’ve been here holding the fort down and have established myself comfortably at the top, but bro comes back one day and all of a sudden it’s like he’s doing everything he can to undo everything that I have done. But… I guess I can’t be too surprised, can I? I mean, I’m the one who ended his historic double reign as champion when I won the Interwire Championship from him. Hell, if I REALLY wanna keep things a buck, I was the first one to leave a crack in his armor. That had him feeling some type of way. Even if it was a triple threat match and he didn’t get pinned by me, the fact that I was able to get the job done whereas he failed ate him up alive. It was only gonna be a matter of time before he’d come after me in hindsight, but damn man, if you wanted the smoke, all you had to do was pull up and let me know upfront. You ain’t gotta be sneaky and use a contract to flex whatever bullshit power you got to make yourself feel more important than you actually are.
Joso: In fact, let’s talk about that. Territorial Invasion, right? You versus me? If you think that match is gonna have me shaking and trembling in fear, then you thought wrong. Ain’t no ounce of fear in my body and you’re never gonna instill that in me. If anything, the one who should be remotely afraid in this position is you. You came on back and have trampled over my moments time after time again and I’m tired of it. I’m tired of everything. So tired that at this point, I’m just ready to beat the brakes off of you, and when I do, you’re gonna be out of EAW for good. Ain’t no coming back or Gawd contracts that can save you from this ass whooping I’m finna unleash on you. But you wanted this, Andre. You thought you could get in my way and interfere in my business unscathed, getting everything you wanted, but that is not the case. You can call the shots, but I’m all about taking action into my own hands. So, if it’s a match you want…
Joso: … It’s a match you’re gonna get.
(The fans cheer, loving how Joso isn’t backing down at all.)
Joso: I’m tired of you thinking you own the place. I’m tired of you feeling like you gotta lash out like this to get people to take you remotely serious. When I first wrestled you, I was lowkey enamored with the aura that surrounded you and your name. You have since day one built yourself up as one of the most dominant forces EAW has ever seen. Hell, even when you were a rookie you were giving so many people problems. Ain’t no doubt in my mind too that you’re gonna be a hall of famer sooner rather than later, but you don’t act like one. Nah. You act like a man who can’t handle when you slip and stumble, but me? Oh, I don’t trip out. I could’ve when I lost to Jamie, but instead, I got my act together, learned from my mistakes, and look what happened when I did that. That’s why I’m the true king of this shit here. I don’t gotta big league anyone to make myself feel better. I make myself better through putting in the hard work and not having to hide behind a contract to make others who are, quite frankly, doing better feel miserable. Envy ain’t a good look on you, Kaiser, but you’re gonna learn to deal with the fact that you can’t beat me on my best day. You thought me ending your historic double reign by taking the Interwire Championship geeking? Then wait until next month, because at Territorial Invasion? It’s gonna be way worse for you. I swear on everything you gonna regret all of this. Still, I ain’t one to run my mouth without any substance. I mean every single word. But aye, at least with us facing, I can beat you yet again and this time it’s gonna look good to say that I was able to beat Andre twice in my career while he has yet to accomplish beating me in any capacity, ‘cause best believe that after I’m done handling my business with Andre… I got my eyes set on bigger things.
(The fans grow curious and murmur, wondering what Joso could be alluding to. However, he wasn’t going to hold off on what he meant.)
Joso: In fact, I think it’s just better that I get straight to the nitty-gritty too while I’m out here. Andre thought that he was gonna derail my world championship plans but he thought wrong. After all, as of now, I still have six whole months to get my match… but I rather not wait any longer. If I can’t get my world heavyweight championship match before or at Territorial Invasion, then I’ll simply get it after. So, when it’s all said and done, I’m going to be using my King of Elite opportunity to have a match at HOUSE OF GLASS!
(The fans explode for this bombshell of a news.)
Stew-O: WHOA! WELL, THERE WE GO! JOSO HAS SET THE DATE! HE WANTS HIS WORLD TITLE MATCH AT HOUSE OF GLASS!
Jake Mercer: Big, big move right there from him.
(Joso nods his head, certain in his decision, before continuing on.)
Joso: I ain’t wasting anymore time. No one is gonna stand in my way and no one is gonna dictate my destiny. It’ll be the cherry on top too, ‘cause after I deal with Andre, I can get the last laugh in the end, standing at the top as the one, true, undisputed king of EAW. I’ve been doing all that I can to build myself up for this moment, from getting to be one of Jamie O’Hara’s final opponents to taking on the legend himself Impact at Pain for Pride and beating him. I worked for this shit, earned every single opportunity and accolade that I got to my name, and I stood toe to toe with some of the greatest Elitists of all time while doing so. Now, it’s all about cashing in, and trust me, I plan on being the richest motherfucker in this promotion when it’s all said and done. And who knows? Maybe beating Andre once and for all one-on-one will be the final push that I need to make sure that when House of Glass comes, ain’t nobody gonna be wondering and questioning whether or not I have what it takes. I want there to be absolute certainty from everyone that I’m getting my crowning moment. So now, this little message is gonna go out to Cy and Myles…
Joso: It don’t matter to me which of you wins. I have no preference. At the end of the day, I’m looking to win and beat whoever it is that has the championship. Myles, you can continue your string of dominance, or Cy, you can cap your rebound off by getting to hold a world championship yet again, thriving in a new era, but regardless of who achieves what, the result is gonna be the same at House of Glass: losing to Joso in Glass Wallz.
(Another bomb was dropped. With the stipulation out there, Joso looks determined as can be, repurposing the anger he felt.)
Joso: So yeah. I’m taking my shot, ‘cause I don’t plan on missing. I am going to be EAW World Heavyweight Champion. I am going to beat Andre Walker and make him pay for all the fuck shit he’s been doing. And when it’s all said and done, I’m gonna be standing tall with the gold on my head and on my waist. Believe that.
(Mic drop. ‘2024’ plays again and the fans go wild.)
Flannery McCoy: The next couple of months are gonna be stacked for Joso! Not only will he face Andre Walker at Territorial Invasion, but now, after what we just heard, Joso is looking to face either Cy Henderson or Myles at House of Glass inside Glass Wallz!
Jake Mercer: Well, I wish him all the luck in the world when it comes to House of Glass, but Territorial Invasion… that’s gonna be a different ball game entirely. It’ll be the first time he’ll face Andre Walker in one-on-one action, and if I know my Kaiser well, I know he is going to do everything he can to snuff out Joso’s light in order to get the victory.
Flannery McCoy: Andre may be determined, but so too is Joso. He isn’t backing down at all. He’s using that anger he’s feeling into fuel, and who knows? It could pay off big time for him.
Stew-O: Whether this can be good or bad for Joso remains to be seen. However, regardless of what happens, at least we know what his next destination will be after Territorial Invasion. For now, he has to focus on getting over the hurdle that is Andre Walker and see if he can thwart his efforts, rising above all the games so he can be the one standing at the top of Dynasty!
(Joso leaves the ring, resolute as can be, before Dynasty fades to the first commercial of the evening.)
(A commercial plays for Territorial Invasion.)
(Coming back from commercials, ‘Unreal’ by Chaoseum begins to play through the speakers as Isaac Crow walks out from the back. He looks to be completely focused as he walks to the ring with a sense of purpose.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL —
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM PARTS UNKNOWN…WEIGHING IN AT THE WEIGHT OF 225 POUNDS… ‘THE FALLEN ANGEL’…ISAAC CROW!!!!!!
Stew-O: Isaac Crow is one of the newcomers on the Dynasty brand, who has been looking to make a name for himself! Last week, he was able to pick up the win against Clayton Golde and Lee Jacobs, and looks to keep the momentum going by defeating a fellow newcomer in Mikhaila Barra!
Flannery McCoy: This week, Isaac Crow plans to usher in a darker Mikhaila and I’m not quite sure on what Isaac means with that, but there’s also a part of me that’s interested to see if Isaac accomplishes that goal in this match.
Jake Mercer: Isaac Crow wants to KILL, Mikhaila Barra, Flann! :lupe: This could be a dangerous situation! I’m almost worried about Mikhaila, but we’ll see how all of this pans out!
(‘Monaco’ by Bad Bunny begins to play as Mikhaila Barra comes out in a confident manner. There’s a smirk on her face as she looks around the sea of EAW fans before making her way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT…FROM DALLAS, TEXAS…SHE IS ‘LETHAL ADDER’…MIKHAILA BARRA!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Here comes Mikhaila Barra who looks to find herself on track after suffering two defeats in a row. But, she is doing her best not to let it derail her. This would not be the most ideal time to let it take the toll out of her. She needs to find control in the situation that she is in this week.
Flannery McCoy: She has an amazing family lineage to think about and I can’t imagine the pressure that she must be feeling, but the defeats that she suffered may have humbled her a bit. Don’t you think?
Jake Mercer: Yes, but there is a TON of potential within Mikhaila Barra! She cannot lose that sense of self or this company is going to eat her up! She is going to need to dig for that something extra if she wants to win tonight!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(Mikhaila Barra does the three-finger salute to her head before shoving Isaac Crow back. Mikhaila begins to talk down on Isaac, who doesn’t look to be quite amused by the situation. There is a part of him that feels insulted that Mikhaila would begin things on such a negative note.)
Stew-O: AND, ISAAC CROW TAKES HER BACK WITH AN UPPERCUT! THIS TAKES MIKHAILA BARRA BACK, BUT MIKHAILA MANAGES TO FIND HER BALANCE AS SHE RUNS AFTER ISAAC, BUT ISAAC STOPS HER WITH A KNEE TO THE GUT! He begins to throw fists to her spine as that takes her down to a knee! Isaac gets in front of her and pulls her into a front headlock before lifting her up and taking her back with a suplex! Isaac goes for the cover!
OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Mikhaila Barra with a kick out! Isaac Crow gets Mikhaila into a seated position before beginning to jab the side of her neck with elbows! He hooks her from underneath the armpits before lifting her up and taking her back with full Nelson suplex, BUT MIKHAILA MANAGES TO LAND ON HER FEET! ISAAC TURNS AROUND AS MIKHAILA RUNS RIGHT TOWARDS HIM AND HITS HIM WITH A KNEE STRIKE TO THE FACE! SHE BEGINS TO BATTER HIM WITH FISTS TO THE FACE BEFORE PICKING HIM UP BY THE HAIR! SHE THROWS HIM TO THE CORNER! SHE BEGINS TO CONNECT WITH MUD HOLE STOMPS TO THE GUT OF ‘THE FALLEN ANGEL!’
Jake Mercer: Isaac Crow manages to fall to a seated position at the bottom of the corner! Mikhaila Barra places her foot on his neck as she holds him there! The referee begins to step in and begin his count!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! STEP AWAY, MIKHAILA!
Stew-O: Mikhaila Barra steps back with her hands up where the referee can see them! Isaac Crow uses the top rope to help pick himself up, but Mikhaila gets him in a front headlock as she looks to lift him up with a snap suplex, BUT ISAAC MANAGES TO BLOCK MIKHAILA’S LEG WITH HIS OWN FOOT AND PREVENT HIMSELF FROM MOVING! MIKHAILA GOES TO TAKE HIM UP, BUT ISAAC IS DOING A GREAT JOB WITH BLOCKING THE MOVE FROM CONNECTING! INSTEAD, IT’S ISAAC THAT MANAGES TO LIFT UP MIKHAILA AND TAKE HER BACK WITH A SNAP SUPLEX! MIKHAILA IS CLUTCHING HER LOWER BACK IN PAIN!
Flannery McCoy: Mikhaila Barra looks to get herself up, but Isaac Crow beats her to the punch as he takes her down with a ‘Comatose’ — his variation of the axe handle! This takes Mikhaila down as she finds a way back to her feet, but Isaac connects with another ‘Comatose!’ Mikhaila goes down once more, but she continues to find a way back to her feet before Isaac lifts her up and connects with a spine buster as that takes her down! Isaac goes for the cover!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTWWWWW—
Jake Mercer: Mikhaila Barra with a kick out! Isaac Crow gets himself up, backs to the horizontal ropes before rebounding off of them and connecting with a leg drop on Mikhaila! Isaac gets back up to his feet as he sees Mikhaila finding her way to a crawling position, BUT ISAAC CONNECTS WITH A CURB STOMP! MIKHAILA GOES DOWN! NOW, WE SEE ISAAC LOOKING FOR THE TOP TURNBUCKLE, LOOKING TO GO HIGH RISK! WHAT COULD HE BE LOOKING TO DO?
Stew-O: He sees that Mikhaila Barra is finding her way back up, but it doesn’t stop Isaac Crow from jumping up from the top rope! ‘DEATH’S TOUCH’ — THE DIVING FIST DROP TO MIKHAILA AS THAT TAKES HER DOWN! I THINK THAT ISAAC MAY BE MOMENTS AWAY FROM SECURING THE VICTORY! HE BEGINS TO GET MIKHAILA UP TO HER FEET AS HE LOOKS FOR ‘DEATH’S DOOR’ — HIS VARIATION OF THE BURNING HAMMER!
Flannery McCoy: BUT, MIKHAILA BARRA SLIDES OFF THE SHOULDERS OF ISAAC CROW AS SHE PUSHES ISAAC TO THE ROPES! SHE GRABS HIM BY THE WAIST AS SHE LOOKS TO GO FOR AN O’CONNOR ROLL AS SHE LOOKS TO GET THE VICTORY HERE
!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Jake Mercer: Isaac Crow manages to get himself out of the roll up! The two Elitists find their way back up as Isaac looks to stop Mikhaila Barra with a giant clothesline, but Mikhaila manages to duck the clothesline! She runs towards the ropes, rebounds off of the ropes and connects with a hurricanrana as she manages to take Isaac across the ring! Isaac manages to slide to his feet as he finds a way back up! MIKHAILA RUNS RIGHT AFTER HIM, GRABBING HIM BY THE ARM AND CONNECTING WITH AN ARM DDT BEFORE TAKING HIM INTO POSITION AND APPLYING AN ARMBAR SUBMISSION MOVE! I THINK THAT SHE MAY HAVE ISAAC WHERE SHE WANTS HIM!
Stew-O: But, Isaac Crow manages to roll himself over and begins to throw a punch to the face of Mikhaila Barra! After the third punch, it seems like Mikhaila has given all hope by applying the submission move! Isaac manages to grab Mikhaila by her hair before pulling her into a front headlock! BUT, WE SEE THAT MIKHAILA BEGINS TO THROW LEFT AND RIGHT PUNCHES TO THE SIDES OF ISAAC! SHE IS FIGHTING HER WAY OUT OF THIS! SHE MANAGES TO TAKE ISAAC TO THE ROPES AS SHE CONTINUES TO THROW SOME PUNCHES TO HIM! BUT, ISAAC MANAGES TO PUSH HER AWAY! HE TRIES TO STRAIGHTEN HIMSELF BACK UP, BUT MIKHAILA RUNS RIGHT AFTER HIM AS SHE SPEARS HIM THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE! THE TWO OF THEM GO TUMBLING OUT OF THE RING!
Flannery McCoy: The two Elitists find their way back up as Isaac Crow begins to connect with a knife-edge chop to the chest! This takes Mikhaila Barra back! Isaac connects with another knife-edge chop as she drops down to her knee! THEN, WE SEE ISAAC GRAB HER BY THE ARM AS HE WHIPS HER TO THE STEEL STEPS BEHIND HIM! MIKHAILA TAKES A NASTY LANDING AS ISAAC BEGINS TO TAKE A FEW STEPS BACK BEFORE CHARGING TOWARDS HER AND NAILING HER WITH A KNEE TO THE SKULL!
Jake Mercer: Isaac Crow grabs Mikhaila Barra by the nape of her neck before rolling her back inside the ring! Now, we see that Isaac is going for the top turnbuckle as he looks to go high risk once more! Isaac is waiting for Mikhaila to rise back to her feet before jumping off the top turnbuckle and taking her down with a shoulder tackle that knocks her to her back once more! Then, we see that Isaac is picking her up before placing her on his shoulders! We’re going to be seeing ‘Deaths’ Door’ —
Stew-O: BUT, MIKHAILA BARRA MANAGES TO SLIDE OFF THE SHOULDERS OF ISAAC CROW! SHE KNOCKS HIM DOWN WITH AN ‘ADDER STRIKE’ — THAT HIGH-IMPACT SPINNING HEEL KICK THAT TAKES ISAAC DOWN! But, still, Isaac is looking for a way up to his feet! He refuses to stay down! He wants to continue fighting as Mikhaila connects with a spinning backfist that knocks Isaac to the ropes! Then, we see Mikhaila connect with a knee strike as that takes Isaac forward! MIKHAILA GRABS HIM IN A FRONT HEADLOCK BEFORE FOLLOWING THAT UP WITH A TORNADO DDT! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL EXECUTION TO THE MOVE AS MIKHAILA FINDS A WAY BACK UP! SHE STALKS ISAAC BACK TO HIS FEET BEFORE PLANTING HIM DOWN WITH A ‘SNAKE BITE’ — THE SNAP DDT AS SHE MANAGES TO TAKE HIM DOWN!
Flannery McCoy: MIKHAILA BARRA SEES THAT ISAAC CROW IS FINDING A WAY BACK TO HIS FEET AS SHE BEGINS TO APPLY THE COBRA CLUTCH THAT SHE LIKES TO CALL ‘BARRA CLUTCH’ —THE FINISHER MOVE OF HER ENTIRE FAMILY! Not a specific move that she likes to go for often, but maybe, this could be her answer to end this match — but, we see that Isaac Crow is finding his way to his knees as Mikhaila gives up on trying to apply the submission move! The two Elitists find their way back to their feet as Mikhaila tries to be one step ahead and go for a kick, BUT ISAAC MANAGES TO GRAB ONTO HER FOOT AND PREVENT THE KICK FROM HAPPENING! HE SWIPES THE FOOT FROM UNDERNEATH HER AND KNOCKS HER DOWN TO THE MAT! STILL, YOU SEE THAT HE HAS POSSESSION OF HER LEG AS HE LOOKS TO END THIS MATCH WITH A ‘GAME OVER’ — HIS VARIATION OF THE SHARPSHOOTER! IF ISSAC CAN APPLY THIS MOVE, IT MIGHT BE GAME OVER FOR MIKHAILA BARRA!
Jake Mercer: Isaac Crow goes to twist the legs on top of each other — MIKHAILA BARRA MANAGES TO GRAB ISSAC’S HEAD WITH LEG SCISSORS! SHE CATCHES ISAAC WITH SURPRISE AS SHE MANAGES TO LOCK IN THE ‘PYTHON’S SQUEEZE’ —HER VARIATION OF THE PERUVIAN NECKTIE! MIKHAILA FELT LIKE THERE WAS NO OTHER CHOICE, BUT TO END THE MATCH THERE! SHE KNEW THAT ISAAC WANTED TO GO FOR ‘GAME OVER,’ SO SHE NEEDED TO THINK OF A QUICK WAY OUT OF THIS! ISAAC FINDS HIMSELF COMPLETELY TRAPPED AS HE’S STRUGGLING TO PICK HIMSELF UP! MIKHAILA BEGINS TO BATTER HIM WITH PUNCHES TO HIS BACK AS HE EVENTUALLY FINDS HIMSELF OVERWHELMED!
Stew-O: JUST LIKE THAT, ISAAC CROW TAPS OUT! HE HAD NO OTHER CHOICE, BUT TO END THIS MATCH!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Monaco’ plays once more as Mikhaila Barra releases her submission move to Isaac Crow who passes out. Mikhaila finds her way back to her feet as the referee raises her hand, solidifying her as the winner.)
Stephie Love: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…MIKHAILA BARRA!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Impressive showing by Mikhaila Barra who managed to counter with a Peruvian necktie at the last moments of the match! I thought that Isaac Crow may have had it there with the ‘Game Over’ sharpshooter, but Mikhaila surprised us in the end!
Jake Mercer: A match up that could have gone either way, Flannery! Both of these Elitists were hungry, but Mikhaila was hungier in the end! Congratulations to Mikhaila!
(Mikhaila smirks and does her three-finger salute, feeling confident now that she was able to get a win for the first time in her young career here in EAW. The camera focuses on her for a bit before it transitions elsewhere.)
(Dynasty fades backstage where Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant are shoulder-to-shoulder as they’re scrolling on the conservative side of X. Right away, the crowd in Auckland, New Zealand boos these two and it’s clear obvious that they are not too crazy about them. The audio becomes clear as a form of disgust forms on their faces as they look at the iPhone.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: I can’t believe this.
Richard Grant: What happened to the America I love?
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Where is the order? Where is the organization?
Richard Grant: Who in the blue hell is Little Jon? :wtf:
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Nothing on Kid Rock, Richard!
Richard Grant: Nothing on you, Kensi!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Nothing on you, Richie!
(The two of them begin to nose kiss each other. It’s a total cringe inside the office and the EAW Universe is vocal about their displeasure of it.)
????: Did I come at the wrong time?
(Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant compose themselves, standing all professional and straight to business. They look across to see Holly Arrow as the EAW Universe pops for ‘The Seraph.’ She looks a bit uncomfortable from the display of affection by the Dynasty GMs, but she’s looking past all of that.)
Richard Grant: You came at a GREAT time, Holly!
Holly Arrow: Alright, cool, because I was summoned here. Now, what’s up with that?
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: We have an opportunity for you, Holly.
(Holly Arrow seems a bit skeptical. With Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant, it’s difficult to know if these opportunities are genuine or something that will fill their vendetta. Still, Holly is curious to know about this ‘opportunity.’)
Holly Arrow: Well…what is it?
Richard Grant: Well, we got together with Showdown and Voltage to showcase three standouts in the women’s division of their respective brands. While we don’t personally know who Showdown and Voltage are going to choose yet, we are confident that whoever it is, they don’t hold a candle to you, Holly.
Holly Arrow: Look, I am going to set the two of you straight – I know the type of people that the two of you are and what you beliefs are and what you stand for, support and I couldn’t stand any further from that if I tried. I may not be born in the United States, but that doesn’t mean I have an idea of what the conservatives have done to get the United States into the state that it is today.
(The crowd in the Sparks Arena pops as Richard Grant and Kensingten Calhoun-Astor look towards each other, but allow for Holly Arrow to continue speaking.)
Holly Arrow: I don’t like that this brand has been looked at as the ‘MAGA’ brand and by default, people think that representing this brand means we stand in solidarity with your bullshit.
Richard Grant: Wait, so you’re —
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Let Holly continue to speak, Richie.
Holly Arrow: That part of me makes me extremely apprehensive to represent you guys in anything, but the other part of me realizes there is so much more to Dynasty and its rich history than the two bigots who happen to be in a management position and at the end of the day, this will be a great opportunity to get myself some momentum and back in the hunt for the Universal Women’s Championship, so I’m in!
(The crowd applauds as Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant are taken by the fact of being called “bigots,” but they try to push their pride to the side for the moment. A smile creeps up on their faces as they pretend that they aren’t fazed by some of the things that Holly Arrow had said about them and the state of the brand at the moment. The two GMs manage to extend a hand for Holly to shake at them. Holly looks down at their hands, wondering what they are doing.)
Holly Arrow: Let’s not get carried away here.
(Holly Arrow scuffs and shakes her head before escorting herself out of the office. We are left with Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant putting their hands down, almost in embarrassment of Holly not willing to shake her hands. The atmosphere in the room is silent with embarrassment as they look to move on from the situation.)
(Dynasty fades elsewhere.)
(The scene pans on Michael Belfort, as he’s sitting on his own seat while the camera is focused directly on him for the moment.)
Michael Belfort: Ladies & gentlemen, tonight I am joined by an elitist here on Dynasty that has been enjoying quite the great deal of momentum since joining the brand this season. Please welcome the Black Flame herself, Daniella Atlas.
(Daniella Atlas can be seen, seated across from Michael as she’s sporting a small grin over her own face with her legs crossed, leaned back against the seat while giving him a light wave.)
Daniella Atlas: Certainly a pleasure for you… isn’t it, Michael.
Michael Belfort: Sure is, as I can imagine this season has kicked off remarkably well for you so far, has it not? How would you react to what you’ve been able to do as a Dynasty competitor?
Daniella Atlas: Pure, unbridled bliss. I understood exactly what needed to be done, I could not allow any of my personal restraints to continue to weigh me down when I have far too much to accomplish. Well, what I wish to achieve may not appear so far fetched from the next elitist, but this is all to serve a far bigger picture that stretches beyond what you & I could have ever imagined. I surely needed a great measure of excitement to sprawl itself right onto my lap, and to see that I have been given such a wondrous role as the woman to introduce a beautiful world of chaos? I cannot be anymore delighted by what I have been able to do, so far at the very least. I have not understood defeat ever since undergoing such a necessary change. I needed to isolate myself from the world of blasphemous reason, hopeless dreams & falsehoods of the like in order to become who I am now. Even so…
(Daniella would glance downward for a moment, as she would engage with her own thoughts a bit more thoroughly.)
Daniella Atlas: Despite my journey going so beautifully, I have yet to satisfy myself to a greater extent. My endeavor with Holly Arrow & Mia Santoro was an incredible one. They can move on from Reckless Wiring looking to keep their heads held high, but I understand deep down exactly how I did not allow their hopeful faces to divert my own expression from reality. To accept the world for what it’s always been is to ensure yourself the truth & nothing but the truth. You must become one with the world’s greatest desires if you want to understand exactly how to take advantage of it, which I have been able to do quite successfully. I knew I would walk away from our battle with my hand raised, I remained confident in my capabilities as a figure with potential yet to be met. I am leagues above the woman that I was the previous season, and I am still firm on how the woman I am currently cannot be my final form. My strength has only continued to make leaps & bounds beyond my expectations through each week, which should prove to be a most dangerous struggle for everyone who dares to defy a bearer of truth itself…
Michael Belfort: You may have your own truth to rightfully believe it, so with that being said, what would you say is next for you as you are guiding yourself with the step ahead?
Daniella Atlas: The next step is quite simple really. I am well aware of my strengths, how I have yet to be bested since my change to a more formidable foe who can stand across any elitist that is placed before me. If I must unleash an even graver level of havoc upon this sport, moving from canvas to canvas as I paint the world with what I must perceive as fate’s righteous hand. I am being called upon to carry out the will of the people, which I have done without any significant issues. Nothing to stop me, nothing to slow me down, all being done to assure that I am giving this sport exactly what it has forever wanted. Wouldn’t you believe that a vast majority of this sport’s circle who pays attention, lives vicariously through their own figures of worth such as myself? This environment is built on violence, fear, & the blood that has been spilled every single week this company allows for the red to stain its own ring mats. I am merely carrying out this objective without the need to hide behind self-righteous intentions. With that…
Daniella Atlas: I suppose there is no need to sugarcoat where I shall be situating my focus toward next: the illustrious accolade of championship gold. I have been able to call myself a contender before, through my state as a weakling who did all that she could to abide by the dreams & ambitions of her own peers. I do not look back upon who I was with nearly as much fondness as many elitists with more noteworthy past selves have, but I can acknowledge where I was able to bring myself. Regardless, I understand I can make the very most out of any opportunity I am given. I am able to keep my record increasingly pristine with each win that I garner against whoever this brand desires to throw in my way, but I cannot be quenched with the stragglers forever. Another matter I needed to make apparent with myself is how much more impatient I have become, so it would be best for the betterment of everyone that my sights are set directly on becoming champion for the first time in my lovely career. I would be a most welcomed representation of this sport’s competition. After all, I am a face that is quite difficult to ignore, no matter how you wish to feel.
(Daniella builds a sly grin over her own face, looking toward Michael with a tinge of mischief as he would give her a nod.)
Michael Belfort: With your focus set on becoming champion, this makes my next question as straightforward as possible: who do you have in mind, in regards to facing off against in order to achieve championship gold?
Daniella Atlas: …The Specialists Champion. KASAI. I would hope this is not such a shocking revelation for anyone who is witnessing this, I consider myself to be quite prepared for the battles to come. I believe I rightfully deserve this match for the title, I have not squandered my inclusion on Dynasty & as far as I am concerned, I have no intentions of slowing myself down for whatever this world wishes to place over my shoulders. I must say, she has managed to enthrall me with her continuous defenses & weeks that add on to her reign. I have been able to witness all that she’s done, and I am intrigued. If you were in my shoes, how could you not be…? This is the same woman who I am going to best in battle after all, with the brightest smile I could ever muster up on any given day where I am fully aware. I have shown time & time again, I will seek out what I desire most without leaving a single stone unturned. KASAI has been dealt such a peculiar hand with the opposition she has been given, without the core anomaly amongst those names to be able to delve into the lion’s den—which means, I am more than willing to tip my own hat as one with the hunt. The target that has been placed on your back has been there long before I made myself vocal, the Specialist Championship has always been a point of interest that cannot possibly be ignored. My reasons are crystal clear, so if you truly are the champion that I believe you to be, then you listen to this & heed these words…
(Daniella lets out a brief chuckle.)
Daniella Atlas: Not that I truthfully care all too much about how you perceive these words anyhow. You have been given this guarantee directly from these lips. Take it however you will, as the freedoms you are given in regards to listening to these words will not be the same for when our match inevitably arrives. You will only have one route to go, chére. There is no backing down for you, just as much as I do not have the slightest reason to refrain from delivering upon you the agony of a lifetime. Well, if you are truly all that you’ve ever declared for yourself to be, I should be expecting the answer to be exactly what I expect to hear. Continue watching, as I will set the example forward soon. You will soon understand the lengths that I am willing to go in order to call myself champion. The courtesy of a battle runs as long as you’re willing to engage in action, as respect will be the very last thing to arise from your mind when met with an untamable threat…
(Daniella grins directly toward the camera, having a laugh for herself as the scene fades from there.)
(The show then transitions back to ringside with Stephie Love ready to call the next match.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Betty (Get Money)!’ by Yung Gravy hits the PA speakers and Clayton Golde makes his way out, strutting down the ramp. The fans are quick to boo but Golde embraces the reaction, extending his arms out as gold smoke fills the stage behind him. He walks down to the ring and hops up the apron, climbing the top rope and slapping his chest.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, weighing in at 210 pounds, from An Undisclosed Location in Romania, he is “THE GOSPEL” CLAYTON! GOLDE!
Jake Mercer: Whether you like him or hate him, you certainly cannot deny the talent of Clayton Golde. Every week the fans make sure to boo Clayton, but every week he is certainly making strides in the ring!
Flannery McCoy: But everyone knows where he lies out of the ring and he certainly hasn’t done well to win over the good side of his opponent, Daniella Atlas. We’ll see if his trash talking gets in her head, or gets him a worse beating than he bargained for.
(‘Vortex’ by Jinjer is next to play and Daniella Atlas walks out, looking at the ring. She rolls her shoulders, staring a hole through Clayton. Daniella is calm and collected, stomping down the ramp to the steel steps. She makes her way up and swings into the ring, stomping in the ring and throwing her arms up and posing in the center.)
Stew-O: Last week, Daniella beat Mikhala Barra and despite Barra’s best attempts, Atlas is just on a hot streak right now and there’s no stopping her. Tonight won’t come easy, but Daniella is set out on another win like usual.
Jake Mercer: She’s absolutely capable of it. Daniella has been on fire as of late and tonight may be another chance to showcase her overwhelming power and dominance going up the ranks on Dynasty.
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: We’re off to the races and Clayton shuffles around the ring, trying to get a good read on how to deal with Daniella here. Both engage in a collar and elbow tie-up but Daniella throws Clayton back! Clayton skids backwards, leaning against the ropes. Daniella marches in and Clayton throws a punch to the ribs!
Jake Mercer: He throws a forearm after, then a palm strike which Daniella blocks. She knees him in the ribs and irish whips Clayton off, but Clayton swats her hands down and headbutts her! Daniella wobbles, and then Clayton dropkicks the knee out!
Flannery McCoy: Nice dropkick from Clayton, but it’ll take more than that to keep Daniella down. Daniella wobbles up and Clayton hits off the ropes, dropkicking the knee again! Daniella rolls to the apron, holding at her knee. Clayton reaches out to grab her leg, pulling it through the middle rope, but Daniella shoves him back with her bot!
Jake Mercer: Clayton gets sent rolling backwards and Daniella begins to climb to the top rope?! Clayton looks up… MISSILE DROPKICK FROM DANIELLA ATLAS! CLAYTON GETS SPIKED ONTO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! Quick cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Stew-O: A kick out from Clayton! Daniella shakes her head. She drags Clayton up and drills him with an european uppercut. She drills another, and Clayton holds his jaw. Daniella takes the wrist and sends him off, following with a kitchen sink against the ropes! Clayton wobbles, falling to a kneel.
Flannery McCoy: Daniella hits off the ropes, but Clayton pops up and throws a leg lariat! Daniella goes down! Clayton stumbles, shaking his head. He pulls Daniella up and pulls her up by the head, trying to lift her up for a suplex.
Jake Mercer: Daniella stalls it, though! She punches Clayton in the rib and lifts him vertically. Clayton floats over, taking her by the waist and bringing her to the ropes for an O’Connor Roll!
Referee: OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!
Stew-O: Clayton kicks Daniella off! Daniella hits off the ropes and drops into a boot to a seated Clayton! Clayton hits the mat, holding his jaw. Daniella picks him up and hooks the head, hooking his shorts. She nods, hoisting him up for a FALCON ARROW! Another cover from Daniella, now!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Jake Mercer: Shoulder up from Clayton! Daniella slowly rises, looking down at Clayton. She pulls him up and throws him out through the middle rope. Clayton falls to the apron, wincing. Daniella marches over and grabs Clayton–
Stew-O: But Clayton pulls her hands down! He rises to her feet and yanks her throat into the top rope with a hot shot! Daniella bounces off, holding his throat in agony. Daniella coughs out and Clayton hops onto the apron and takes the ropes, springboarding up into a CLOTHESLINE!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella gets dropped! Clayton pulls him up and jams her head into his thighs. He takes her by the waist and hoists her up, marching to the center of the ring for a SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! Clayton plants his legs onto her shoulders, for the cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Jake Mercer: Kick out from Atlas! Clayton Golde rises, shaking his head. He steps out of the ring, going back to the top rope. He points down at Daniella, diving off the top into an elbow drop! NO! DANIELLA MOVES OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN TIME! Clayton bounces off the mat, holding his elbow in pain!
Flannery McCoy: He wobbles up to his feet and Daniella turns him with a high kick! She hooks the waist, hoisting him up for an OVERHEAD NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! Clayton gets tossed all the way across the ring, and he holds his back in pain.
Stew-O: Daniella rises to her feet and drags Clayton up, she leans him in the corner and lights him up with a knife edge chop! She nails another! Clayton wobbles. Daniella takes his wrist and hammerwhips him across the ring! Clayton back smashes into the turnbuckles, and he stumbles out, falling over.
Jake Mercer: Daniella wastes no time, bouncing off the ropes and dropping into an elbow drop onto Clayton’s bad back! Clayton yells out, rolling away. He holds at his back, unable to fight through the pain.
Stew-O: She rises and pulls Clayton up. Daniella clubs Clayton and turns him, hooking the waist for a german suplex. But Clayton stalls it! Daniella grits her teeth, trying again. Clayton spins out, pulling her down into a schoolboy pin! But before the referee can get the count, Clayton deadlifts him up!
Flannery McCoy: SCHOOLBOY POWERBOMB IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! HE PINS HER SHOULDERS DOWN, FOR THE COVER!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Jake Mercer: It’ll take more to keep Daniella Atlas down and out though! Clayton slaps the mat, looking at the referee with an agitated look on his face. He rolls Daniella over and slowly pulls her up. He tries to hook her body, trying for a RegalPlex, but Daniella elbows him away!
Stew-O: Daniella stumbles away. But Clayton charges in again, grabbing her for an O’Connor Roll but she holds on this time! Clayton rolls away and Atlas turns, HEADBUTT FROM DANIELLA! Clayton staggers, holding his head in agony.
Flannery McCoy: Daniella hits off the ropes, snapping a HUGE SPINNING BACK ELBOW! Clayton goes down, and he’s floored! She drags Clayton up and leans his body down. Daniella nods, going for ‘THE MEMORY ROOM–’ CLAYTON SPINS OUT, LEAPING ONTO HER SHOULDERS!
Jake Mercer: POISON RANA FROM CLAYTON GOLDE! DANIELLA GETS DROPPED ON THE BACK OF HER NECK! DANIELLA IS LAID OUT ON HER STOMACH, NOT MOVING! Clayton slowly rises to his feet, clapping his hands…
Stew-O: He waits for Daniella to rise and he leaps to the ropes! HE DIVES INTO ‘THE BRAND DEAL!’ SPRINGBOARD STUNNER SNAPS DANIELLA’S JAW INTO HIS SHOULDER! DANIELLA GOES DOWN! Clayton crawls over, hooking the legs for the cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR—
Flannery McCoy: A KICK OUT FROM DANIELLA! And Clayton freaks out! This win *would* be big for him, but no one has been able to neutralize Daniella Atlas so far and it doesn’t seem like Golde will be able to do so either! He slowly rises, dragging Atlas to the drop zone.
Jake Mercer: Clayton steps out of the ring and slowly begins to climb to the top rope. He takes a deep breath, looking down at Daniella who is hardly moving at this rate…
Stew-O: AND CLAYTON DIVES OFF THE TOP ROPE WITH A 450 LEG DROP! – NO! DANIELLA MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AND CLAYTON’S SPINE DRIVES INTO THE CANVAS! HE YELLS OUT, RUBBING HIS BACK IN PAIN!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella grabs Clayton by the waist and deadlifts him up, tossing him backwards with a german suplex! Clayton goes back first, and the pain only intensifies for him! He rolls to the turnbuckles, trying to take the ropes and tries to pull himself up.
Jake Mercer: Daniella rises and charges into a corner clothesline! Clayton wobbles out, and Daniella grabs her by the neck, THROWING HIM BY THE NECK INTO THE ROPES! HIS HEAD SNAPS OFF THE ROPES AND HE FALLS OVER! Clayton lies there, dry heaving.
Stew-O: It’s not looking good for him right now, and Daniella reaches down and deadlifts Clayton up. She leans his body downwards and he looks around, nodding. Daniella holds onto Clayton and he snaps into ‘THE MEMORY ROOM!’ SWINGING REVERSE STO! HE SPIKES HIS HEAD INTO THE CANVAS! DOWN GOES CLAYTON!
Flannery McCoy: He’s not moving and Daniella hooks the legs, for the cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR—
Jake Mercer: BUT EVEN THEN, IT’S NOT ENOUGH! CLAYTON GOLDE KICKS OUT JUST IN TIME! Daniella runs her hands through her hair, getting agitated. She rises to her feet and wastes no time. She yanks Clayton up.
Stew-O: Daniella wraps her hands around Clayton’s throat, beginning to choke him. Clayton gasps, struggling to escape Daniella’s grasp. She drops him, and he falls to his knees. Clayton reaches for her legs, trying to pull himself up.
Flannery McCoy: Now she wraps Clayton’s head into her thighs and lifts him up high! She marches to the center of the ring, grabbing him in crucifix position for ‘ANIMUS–’ NO! CLAYTON SLIPS OFF JUST IN TIME! He holds onto Daniella and drives her shoulder first into the ring post!
Stew-O: Nasty impact! Daniella leans on the middle turnbuckle, holding her shoulder. She slowly slips out the corner and falls to the apron. Daniella clutches at his shoulder for a second. He drops down, limping. Clayton rolls out, following after her!
Jake Mercer: AND HE CHARGES INTO A BIG TIME CLOTHESLINE! DANIELLA GOES DOWN! Clayton pulls her up and throws her in, ready to capitalize. Clayton slides in, and Daniella wobbles. Clayton scoops her up for ‘THE 304–’ ATLAS SPINS OUT INTO A HIP TOSS OF HER OWN IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!

Jake Mercer: ‘INAMORATA!’ THE LARIAT PUTS CLAYTON DOWN! Her arm nearly knocked his head off of his shoulders! She drops down and hooks the legs for a cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEE—
Stew-O: A KICK OUT FROM CLAYTON! But how far can he go now! Daniella rises to her feet, pulling Clayton up. She grabs him in a wristclutch, wasting no time. Clayton struggles, trying to break the grip. But no! Daniella ripcords him out!
Jake Mercer: AND SHE HITS THE ‘INAMORATA’ AGAIN, THIS TIME IN RIPCORD FORMAT! THE LARIAT HURTS CLAYTON EVEN MORE! I DON’T KNOW IF HE CAN KICK OUT THIS TIME… BUT DANIELLA KNEELS UP, LOOKING DOWN AT CLAYTON…
Flannery McCoy: She’s not going for the pin this time! Daniella pulls Clayton up and grabs him in a pumphandle position. She carries him, taking him to the center of the ring and scoops him up high! ‘SOUTH OF HEAVEN!’ THE PUMPHANDLE DROP RIGHT ON THE HEAD!
Stew-O: Daniella folds Clayton up and holds his legs in the air, pressing his hands onto his shoulders for the cover. The referee slides to the count!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, DANIELLA ATLAS!
(Daniella rises to her feet and ‘Vortex’ by Jinjer starts playing. The referee helps her up and takes her arm, raising it up. Daniella shoves the referee off, not wanting any assistance. The referee shifts to tending to a stunned Golde while Daniella leaves the ring, headed to the back.)
Jake Mercer: Yet another strong performance from Daniella Atlas! She continues to pick up victories here on Dynasty and again, she really is a force to be reckoned with on Friday nights. Clayton Golde put up his best effort and it wasn’t enough.
Flannery McCoy: Daniella Atlas has gone on an absolute tear since moving to Dynasty. Her win at Reckless Wiring was a sign of what’s to come, and what we’ve seen these last two week is that she is just going to continue to move up and up the ranks.
(Friday Night Dynasty’s video feed transitions backstage to some loud cheers as Chris Elite can be seen performing some dynamic stretches to warm himself up for his match against Drake Armstrong. The cheers suddenly transition to boos as Chris Elite looks up and the camera pans over to show Cy Henderson standing with his arms crossed and a slight smirk on his face.)
Chris Elite: Cy? What’re you doing here?
Cy Henderson: Good to see you too, I suppose. Let me cut to the chase; ever since I got assigned to be the team captain for Dynasty’s Brand Warfare team, I’ve been scouting out the entire roster for who I think would help me bring Dynasty the win for the second year in a row. I’ve already been looking at some of the most competitive elitists on the roster, and I’m mulling it over, but the reason I’m here is because I don’t need to watch you wrestle to know you’d be a perfect fit.
(Chris stops his stretching and stands upright to look Cy in the eyes.)
Cy Henderson: There isn’t much that needs to be questioned about you; former world champion, former tag team champion, a Hall of Famer, and you’ve already won Brand Warfare before. You know how to be a team player and how to hold your own, so there isn’t a reason why I wouldn’t want you on my team. That’s why I came to you first. You would make a great addition to Team Rebel 2.0.
Chris Elite: Team Rebel, huh? So you’ve still got that in mind after all these years? I’m not looking to take an L like that at this point in my career.
Cy Henderson: Team Rebel Nation, it was a worthwhile endeavor at the time even if it wasn’t able to get the win. But this time around, I’m not heading into Brand Warfare as just a New Breed Champion. I’ve spent countless hours staring myself in the eyes and lost in my thoughts, coming to understand what it is I want out of my career and what it is I’m willing to do to get it. I’m heading into Brand Warfare as a man who has proven everything, yet with still more I want to prove. This won’t turn out like 2011; I’m going to win, and I want you to help me do it.
Chris Elite: See, normally I wouldn’t mind joining. Hell, I even won last year, I’d love to do it twice in a row. But you talk about all this thinking and self-reflection, I’m not sure I can really trust a man like you as my team captain. You’ve changed, Cy; the man you are and the man you were when you returned are two completely different people. It’s hard to tell when you’re doing something entirely for yourself at everyone else’s expense or when you’re actually willing to help out. I’m not sure I want to put myself out there like that just to get burned. How do I know you aren’t just going to use me and the whole brand just to make a statement for your own career?
Cy Henderson: I understand; really, I do. But what you’re talking about doesn’t matter if we’re on the same team. If you think I’m doing everything for my interests and my interests alone, and my interests are for my team to win, then there is nothing you have to fear from me. Everything I do will be in your interest too, because you would be a member of Team Dynasty and not the other two teams. Any personal differences I have with my team members will become a negligible secondary to the primary goal of winning Brand Warfare and getting us all rewards for doing so. I want our brand to win, Chris, and I need you to be a part of that. Your victory will be my victory, and if my ‘attitude change’ has shown you anything, it’s that I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get my victory.
Chris Elite: …
Cy Henderson: Think about it. You’re returning after all this time, and your final match didn’t exactly go as planned. What better to erase all doubts and establish yourself in Season 18 than getting a high-stakes marquee victory like Brand Warfare? You raise your stock in the company and especially in Dynasty. There is no good reason to decline this offer.
(Chris Elite turns his head away as he taps his foot, thinking over the offer.)
Chris Elite: You make a good point… alright, you’ve got me convinced. We’ll forget about what we personally think of each other for Territorial Invasion. I accept; I’ll join Team Dynasty.
Cy Henderson: Happy to have you on board.
(Cy Henderson smirks and pats Chris on the shoulder before walking off, leaving Chris to his stretches, albeit with a lot more on his mind than before.)
[Holly Arrow vs Saori Aizen – To be posted ASAP!]
(The scene cuts to the backstage area as we see none other than; Fire & Ice! the lovely duo of Raven Roberts and Rex McAllister. Rex was doing a typical workout and stretch to keep himself prepped. Whilst Raven had an interesting look on her face.)
Raven Roberts: Daniella Atlas challenged KASAI for the Specialists Championship? She seemingly has been making a name and notion for herself these last few weeks here on Dynasty. Pretty impressive to see where her career is going to go forward as she tries to build something that’ll last forever for herself..
Rex McAllister: I keep a close notion of the young talent in EAW. I know that at some point, the time is always gonna come where we are across the ring from then. But you know, Raven. I find it kind of funny that Daniella made that challenge, because remember what we had initially spoken about?
(Raven nodded her head, as she chuckled a bit. Rex had a good point there.
Raven Roberts: I do find it kind of funny. But hey, this is a contact sport. Challenges are thrown out all the time. Well, we definitely aren’t stealing any flow. See it as; a continuing tradition. But let’s not beat around the bush and beat anymore time. Who wants to deliver the memo, Rex? I don’t mind either of us where it stands.
Rex McAllister: I think that we both can kind of work with this here. It’s no secret, Fire & Ice have been at the very top of the tag team division once before. We were embarked in a warzone. One that we handled and remained calm with. Myself and Raven, we both have managed to create something synonymous for the both of us. And that can’t be ignored. When Raven made her way back to EAW, I was thrilled. I was always going to be her biggest supporter. And the time we have spent doing our own thing… It’s been great. While we have both had significant goals, and come short in reaching a few of them… We still have something to be proud of. It was nice of what we accomplished however…
Raven Roberts: I do think that pertaining to those goals, there are some things we could be doing specifically better. I haven’t been completely happy nor satisfied with my performance. And my first idea to fix the course of action? Well it’s simple. Rekindle the flame, and show everyone just why we rest atop the very best. But that doesn’t come by sitting in your corner and waiting. That doesn’t come by keeping your head down… doing absolutely nothing. It’s about making the necessary statements at the right moment. Territorial Invasion is as good of a platform, more than ever! We both know the prestige it has, don’t we, Rex?
Rex McAllister: Whilst getting involved with Territorial Invasion is something everyone wonders about. The idea of brand warfare has always been interesting to me. Sometimes; I find it a little overbearing. But look, this year. Myself and Raven aren’t looking for that. With the Fire & Ice reunion riding high in the air… we want a match… But not only any match. A truly contested match. One that will truly show the levels that there are to this game. We want a match for the Unified Tag Team Championships against The Jaded Hearts.
(Raven kept her arms crossed. The challenge was put down by an assured and confident Rex, as Raven soon spoke afterwards.)
Raven Roberts: Let’s be honest here. Competition in EAW over the years in terms of the tag division has always been an intriguing one. Sometimes you see units come together and build careers off one another. And then other times? You see teams like The Jaded Hearts. Both with accolades that can extend towards the sky. But let’s be serious here; they are justified and looked at as the best tag team in EAW history. But… It’s a subjective opinion. You may ask 15 people, and 14 might say The Jaded Hearts. That’s why, this match at Territorial Invasion? Is not only a challenge but a statement. That there are other teams in the conversation. And not only are Fire & Ice close to them, but we can be head and shoulders above them as well.
Rex McAllister: It’s a tall task, and we still have plenty of ground to stretch out. But that comes with simple preparation. What needs to be stated right now though is — there is only one team in EAW that is closest to The Jaded Hearts. That being Fire & Ice. The only ones that truly, at this moment in time; can state our case. But that isn’t just bound by resume, it’s kept conceit in the ring.
Raven Roberts: We aren’t only up for the challenge, but we know that in some ways, it’s the only obligation. If we won’t, then the tyranny truly may just never end. And that isn’t going to restore balance into anything, it’s only going to drain the environment more and more. Too much of a good thing is prominent in this world, and people tend to ignore that. The Unified Tag Team Championships have had too much of a good thing..
(Raven looked directly at the camera. Rex was agreeing with her.)
Rex McAllister: But when we think — we think realistic. Beating The Jaded Hearts at Territorial Invasion is one step higher up the podium. A tall task at large, but one that maybe Raven and I are the only ones willing to take.
Raven Roberts: And that is exactly what we are going to do. It feels nice being reunited with Rex. Because this has always been inevitable. And the platform of Territorial Invasion is going to be the stage where it’s all set. So now that the cat is out of the back; Kassidy.. Sienna..
Rex McAllister: We got the next shot.
(With that stated, the scene would fade out from there. An immense challenge put in stone from Fire & Ice.)
(A commercial plays for Days Before Rodeo by Travis Scott. The iconic mixtape that was released back in 2014 is now available on all streaming services!)
(Back from commercial break, Stephie Love is seen in the ring as the next match is ready to get underway.)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE FOLLOWING IS A TAG TEAM MATCH SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Dark Horses’ by Switchfoot begins blaring through the arena’s speakers to loud cheers as the legendary tag team reunites in tag team competition once again; Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts match out onto the stage together, sharing a smile with each other before they storm down the ramp towards the ring whilst tagging the fans. They enter the ring and pose on opposite corners for the crowd, before jumping down and getting in their corner.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Weighing in at a combined 360 pounds, they are the ‘Lionheart’, Rex McAllister, and the ‘Bird of Prey’, Raven Roberts… FIIIIIIIIIIRE! AAAAAAAAAAAAAND! IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!
Stew-O: A real treat we have here tonight with the official in-ring reunion of Fire and Ice! The husband and wife team, both former world champions in their own right, united in the past to win the EAW Unified Tag Team Championships, and as of last week they have decided to get the band back together after all this time!
Flannery McCoy: With that being said, Fire and Ice have a pretty glaring and obvious advantage heading into this match; usually, both sides of a tag match like this are put into the ‘co-exist’ dilemma, but this time, it’s two rivals teaming up to face a husband and wife who have already proven themselves to be great enough to earn tag championship gold!
Jake Mercer: It’s a tough situation for sure, but real Graysonites always have faith in Hans Grayson to be able to do what’s necessary to get the job done!
(‘Sinister Purpose’ by Creedence Clearwater Revival began playing to mixed reactions as Kirk Redwood stormed out onto the stage with an intense expression on his face. He slaps himself on the face a few times to get himself hyped, when suddenly ‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ by AFI began playing to turn the crowd back to cheers! Hans Grayson marched out with a smile on his face, but the smile diminished when he came side by side with each other. The two narrowed their eyes at each other, with Kirk staring at the Interwire Championship; they were brimming with suspicion as they began making their way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: AND THEIR OPPONENTS! Weighing in at 210 pounds, he is the ‘Dog of War’, KIIIIIIIIIIRK! REEEEEEEDWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD, and weighing in at 219 pounds, he is the ‘Fire Heart’, HAAAAAAAAANS! GRAAAAAAAAAAYSOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
Stew-O: These two haven’t butted heads that much yet, but you can see Kirk Redwood’s gaze linger on the Interwire Championship; he’s made it perfectly clear what he’s looking to achieve in his career, and Hans Grayson knows that just as well! Both are highly capable and highly competitive elitists in their own right, but tonight the question is whether they’ll be able to co-exist in this tag match against their newly reunited foes!
Flannery McCoy: Last week, Kirk Redwood showed some INSANE levels of aggression when he beat the living daylights out of Mattias Burke, showing so much domination that he didn’t take a single blow the entire match! I think he hurt himself more just from punching so violently than anything his opponent was able to do!
Jake Mercer: And Hans Grayson, of course, is the only current champion in this match. It may seem like a tough situation for them, but personally, I think they’ll be able to get it done if they keep themselves from fighting each other!
Stew-O: There’s only one way to find out for sure!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! Kirk Redwood and Rex McAllister are starting us off here and Kirk is looking just as aggressive as he did last week! Although, it goes without saying, Mattias Burke and Rex McAllister are two entirely different calibers of opponents. Both of them step out of their respective corners; Kirk Redwood begins circling with an aggressive, almost animalistic pace, while Rex McAllister keeps a level head and eyes as cool as ice, as the team name goes!
Flannery McCoy: Naturally, Kirk Redwood is the first to lash out at Rex, lurching out of the circling stalemate as he looks to enact that same level of aggression against the Lionheart with an attempted jab to the face! Rex stays light on his feet, backstepping to avoid the jab, ducking to evade the subsequent hook, and side rolling out of the way as Kirk tries to take his head off with a sudden lariat!
Jake Mercer: Kirk put a lot of oomph into that lariat attempt which sends him stumbling for a moment, and that’s all the opening Rex needed as he launches his arm forth from a kneeling position and grabs the stumbling leg of Kirk Redwood by the ankle before yanking as hard as he can to trip him! Kirk comes crashing down onto the canvas into a prone position, and Rex McAllister immediately capitalizes as he lurches onto Kirk’s back before the Dog of War is able to get back to his feet!
Stew-O: Kirk is put in a bad spot as Rex quickly grabs Kirk’s right arm and brings it behind his back with a hammer lock, before really locking it in place by pressing it down against his back with his right knee! Kirk tries launching a back elbow with his left arm, but Rex catches the arm and plants his left knee against Kirk’s shoulder joint before initiating a makeshift Fujiwara armbar to his opponent!
Flannery McCoy: BOTH arms are locked and wrenched in a bad position; Rex McAllister truly is a technical machine! His right knee has Kirk’s right arm locked in hammer lock position, and his left knee and left arm have Kirk’s left arm wrenched with a pseudo-armbar! That leaves his right arm completely free, and he begins using it with a clenched fist as he pounds down on the back of Kirk’s neck and head with hammer fists! This is some INSANE offense by Rex McAllister, and Kirk is rendered almost helpless!
Jake Mercer: He can’t use his arms, his body is trapped underneath Rex’s full bodyweight, this is a bad situation from the start! But Kirk slams his own forehead down onto the mat a few times- is this guy crazy?! Is he hyping himself up?! He starts flailing his legs as violently as I’ve ever seen legs flailed before, and he’s doing it with such force that Rex is actually losing balance–
Stew-O: THAT DOES IT! Rex McAllister falls off of Kirk with the wriggling too much to maintain a stable position, and that allows Kirk to escape, albeit in worse shape than when he started as he has both of his arms clutching each other in pain! Rex starts to scramble his way up, but Kirk rushes forward and CRASHES into the side of Rex McAllister’s head with a running knee strike!
Flannery McCoy: Rex had some beautiful technical offense just now, but Kirk Redwood’s offense is brutal, ugly, and has a level of IMPACT that you just can’t deny! That knee smash is able to send Rex McAllister down to the canvas, having been knocked silly! Kirk has his teeth gritted as he immediately starts executing abrupt knee drops to the head and midsection of Rex McAllister, forcing him to roll away as an evasive measure – he rolls a bit too far, though, and slips out of the ring from underneath the bottom rope!
Jake Mercer: Kirk growls as Rex slips out of the ring, and Kirk does the same! The moment Kirk rolls out of the ring, though, Rex actually catches him in a scoop position before Kirk can touch down to ringside! That’s some pretty clever environmental work by Rex, not allowing Kirk even a moment to breathe; he has Kirk hoisted in that scooped up position before he arches himself back and LAUNCHES Kirk Redwood backwards with a fall away slam!
Stew-O: That maneuver sends Kirk Redwood against the barricade before he falls down to the floor with an unceremonious thud, and now Rex is back in control – it’s a pretty tight match so far, though! Hans watches quietly while Raven cheers her husband on! Rex measures Kirk up as he waits for him to stagger back to his feet; Kirk does so and doesn’t see Rex waiting from behind! Rex surprises Kirk as he hoists him up from behind, lifting him by the waist before PLANTING him down to the ringside floor with a belly to back suplex!
Flannery McCoy: That has Kirk arching his back in pain as he starts crawling away on his forearms! Rex walks behind him, looking ready to enact some more offense; however, the moment Rex crouches down to grab Kirk by the legs, Kirk Redwood abruptly swings his leg around, knocking Rex down with a vicious kick with the heel against the Lionheart’s jaw!
Jake Mercer: That could be just the amount of space Kirk needed to stagger back to a standing position, and now he starts beating Rex McAllister down with a flurry of vicious stomps and knee drops with the Lionheart unable to get up from this aggressive onslaught! He grabs Rex by the hair and gives him some heavy-handed slaps to the face, completely dazing Rex as he gets forced back to a standing position and leaned up against the very barricade he hurled Kirk into! And now he’s lighting up the chest of the Lionheart with a flurry of knife-edge chops!
Stew-O: Rex blocks one and immediately tries to launch an elbow smash at Kirk, but the Dog of War had it scouted and ducked underneath! Rex instinctively turns his head down to where Kirk went, but Kirk pops back up with a VICIOUS European uppercut that was accentuated by Rex’s downturned head!
Flannery McCoy: The reins are now back in Kirk’s hands as he grabs Rex by the wrist and Irish whips him to get him back into the ring by rolling in under the bottom rope! Kirk slides in alongside Rex and as Rex begins crawling towards the ropes for leverage to get up, Kirk– oh wow, he just launched himself down and headbutted Rex McAllister like a torpedo! What is this guy made out of?!
Jake Mercer: He’s a really tough man, what else can be said? He’s using his own body as a weapon as though it were second nature to him! That blow landed hard against the side of Rex’s head, and both men are knocked a bit silly with that maneuver as Kirk staggers back; he doesn’t stall for long, though, as Rex starts to bring himself back to a standing position without the ropes and Kirk immediately springs into action!
Stew-O: He snaps on a waist lock from behind the Lion Heart and immediately looks to launch him back with a release German suplex! The moment he lets go of Rex McAllister after launching him, though, the Lionheart is able to rotate himself enough to perform a full backflip and land on his feet! Kirk is none the wiser as Rex suddenly turns Kirk around and uses the confusion to Irish whip him back into Fire and Ice’s corner!
Hans Grayson: DON’T LET THEM-
Flannery McCoy: But it’s too late as Rex immediately tags in Raven Roberts, and now it’s one fresh member of the match against a man who’s already been put through a ton of damage! Kirk wasn’t able to prevent the tag, and things only get worse as Rex stays in the ring, hoisting Kirk Redwood up onto his shoulder before PLANTING him with a massive powerslam!
Jake Mercer: The referee starts yelling at Rex to get out, but he barely managed to get a word out as Rex immediately rolled out of the ring after executing the powerslam! Meanwhile, the legal member of Fire and Ice in Raven Roberts climbs up onto the top turnbuckle with her back to the ring! We’ve seen this maneuver from Fire and Ice as Raven Roberts follows up Rex McAllister’s powerslam with a perfectly executed moonsault off the top ropes and onto the laid out Dog of War!
Stew-O: A tremendous move as Fire and Ice show how in sync they are, and Raven looks to get the pin off that huge moonsault as she hooks the leg!
ONEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Flannery McCoy: But Kirk Redwood, tough as ever, is able to kick out before the three count! Rex smirks, but Raven scowls as her competitive fervor begins rising! She grabs Kirk by the head and forces him up against the corner before she starts launching knife edge chops to his chest, just as he did to Rex!
Jake Mercer: And look at that, Rex is joining along, launching front-hand chops of his own from between the ropes, leading to a two-on-one chopping spree against Kirk Redwood! His chest is starting to redden from all the impacts, but Raven puts an end to it there as she pulls him out of the corner as she forces Kirk’s head into a Muay Thai position and begins hammering him from underneath with some painful looking knee lifts!
Stew-O: Fire and Ice’s sublime teamwork has Kirk Redwood in a bad position to say the least; Raven throws Kirk onto the canvas in the middle of the squared circle with a perfectly executed judo throw, showing off her martial arts capabilities, before running towards the ropes! Instead of rebounding, though, she leaps onto the middle rope and springs herself off of it, backflipping through the air before launching herself down at Kirk with a lionsault!
Flannery McCoy: KIRK IS ABLE TO ROLL AWAY IN TIME! Raven has nothing to cushion her fall as she lands in the middle of the ring with a painful thud! She has her ribcage clutched in pain as Kirk is able to drag himself away from her and crawls towards the ropes!
Hans Grayson: TAG ME IN!
Jake Mercer: Grayson is clearly raring to go here, but Kirk is just making his way towards the ropes rather than his own corner; is he trying to take on Fire and Ice all on his own?! That’s a death wish! He makes it to the ropes and starts using the leverage to drag himself onto his feet, but he’s looking worse for wear as he does so…
Stew-O: Nevertheless, he turns around and measures Raven Roberts up as she manages to get to a kneeling position faced away from Kirk; I think he’s about to go for the Blitzkrieg Bop, looking to launch that running knee smash into the back of her head! He might actually be able to turn things around for himse-
Referee: TAG!
Flannery McCoy: Woah, what? Oh, Hans Grayson just tagged himself in before Kirk was able to execute his signature maneuver! He was in a bad state before, but I’m not sure how wise it is to cut off your own partner as they look to regain the momentum in the match! Kirk looks furious as Hans steps into the ring.
Kirk Redwood: The hell are you doing?! I had her right where I wanted her!
Hans Grayson: You didn’t have anything! Just get back into the corner, I’ll take it from here.
Kirk Redwood: You stupid son of a bitch! Do you want us to lose?!
Hans Grayson: Calm down!
Jake Mercer: Tensions clearly flaring amidst the ‘coexist’ team who don’t seem to be coexisting that smoothly; Kirk Redwood steps into the corner in an angry huff as Hans Grayson turns around to face Raven Roberts– ONLY FOR HER TO HAVE ALREADY GOTTEN UP! She surprises Hans Grayson by showing up right in front of him, and before the Fire Heart can react, she hoists him up and launches him onto his back with a classic T-Bone Suplex!
Stew-O: That arguing between Hans Grayson and Kirk Redwood may have cost them the chance at a lead as Raven capitalized on their tension to take the reins of the match! Hans Grayson arches his back in pain as he quickly tries to scramble back up, but just as he reaches his feet, Raven Roberts has already springboarded off the middle rope and launched herself at the Fire Heart, knocking him back down with a springboard roundhouse kick!
Flannery McCoy: Hans Grayson has had a rough entry into the match, marred by his conflict with Kirk Redwood; he has the side of his head clutched as he desperately tries to get to his feet to be able to turn things around! Raven is on top of her game, though, having taken the fight to Kirk and now to Hans Grayson! She continues beating down on Hans as he tries getting up, forcing him to stumble back into the ropes before grabbing his wrist and Irish whipping him across the length of the ring!
Jake Mercer: And as Hans Grayson rebounds off the ropes and begins running back towards the Bird of Prey, she looks to catch him with FACELIFT, LOOKING TO TAKE HIS HEAD OFF WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK TO HIS FACE TO KNOCK HIM OUT MID-RUN, BUT HANS LAUNCHES HIMSELF BELOW, KNOCKING HER OFF HER SINGLE FOOT WITH A FRONT CHOP BLOCK!
Stew-O: Clever move by Hans who manages to regain control of the match, and now he bursts into action to do so as he turns her onto her back and gets back to his feet before executing a standing moonsault, crashing down on Raven with it! He hooks the leg, hoping to get a quick pin!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Flannery McCoy: But it isn’t enough as Raven kicks out, the Bird of Prey has more than enough energy to spare at the moment! He performs a deadlift gutwrench off the canvas before flipping her and slamming her off of that, and follows up with a flurry of elbows to the face after getting in a mounted position!
Jake Mercer: Now he’s taking the fight to Raven, who continues blocking as many of the elbows as she can before launching Hans overhead with a monkey flip! Both elitists scramble to their feet as quickly as they can, trying to push the damage to the side as they run at each other!
Stew-O: But Hans Grayson manages to catch her with an armdrag, bringing her down to the canvas with a thud! She gets up, only to get armdragged again! That maneuver doesn’t do too much damage, but it definitely adds up across consecutive executions like that! Raven Roberts is in trouble now as she staggers back up, but Hans Grayson rushes forward and-
Flannery McCoy: FLAMING PUNCH! THE FLAMING PUNCH KNOCKS HER BACK TO THE CANVAS, REALLY PUTTING HER IN TROUBLE AS HANS LOOKS TO HOOK THE LEG OFF HIS SIGNATURE MANEUVER!
ONEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Jake Mercer: OH! BUT IT ISN’T ENOUGH! THE BIRD OF PREY IS STILL IN IT! Hans looks at Raven Roberts with narrowed eyes as he tries to keep the pressure up, dragging her back to her feet before launching her at the ropes to rebound! Raven does so, and Hans Grayson goes for ANOTHER flaming punch– BUT RAVEN DUCKS UNDERNEATH AND KEEPS GOING! She makes it to the ropes and stalls herself there, baiting Hans to try to knock her over the rope until she ducks down and performs a sudden shoulder barge to his ribs!
Stew-O: She then grabs his wrist and tries to Irish whip him into her corner, but Hans stalls before reversing it, instead Irish whipping her into his corner! The Fire Heart looks to take advantage as he rushes there and hits her with a high knee! He seems to be about to perform a bulldog before–
Kirk Redwood: Tag me in.
Hans Grayson: Huh? No way, I’ve got this.
Kirk Redwood: That’s what I said before, and you forced your way into the match! TAG. ME. IN.
Flannery McCoy: It looks like they’re arguing with each other yet again, and Raven Roberts immediately capitalizes once again by performing the FACELIFT! HANS GETS KNOCKED SILLY WITH THAT SPINNING HEEL KICK!
Jake Mercer: KIRK GOES TO TAG IN, BUT RAVEN DRAGS HANS AWAY FROM KIRK BEFORE THE TAG CAN BE MADE! SHE IRISH WHIPS HIM INTO HER CORNER AS SHE TRIED TO DO BEFORE! RAVEN RUSHES FORWARD AND–
Referee: TAG!
Stew-O: FIRE AND ICE HAVE SWAPPED ONCE AGAIN, PERFECTLY SYNCED AS REX MAKES IT BACK INTO THE MATCH AS FRESH AS EVER! He steps in and hoists Hans Grayson up with an electric chair hold– wait, this can’t be!
Flannery McCoy: RAVEN CLIMBS TO THE TOP ROPE… ARE THEY GOING FOR IT?! FALLING STAR! FALLING STAR! FALLING STAR! RAVEN FLIPPED OVER AND PERFORMED AN ECLIPSE STUNNER OFF OF REX’S ELECTRIC CHAIR, AND HANS LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY KNOCKED OUT BY THAT TREMENDOUS TAG TEAM FINISHING MANEUVER FROM FIRE AND ICE! RAVEN ROLLS OUT WHILE REX HOOKS THE LEG!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(‘Dark Horses’ by Switchfoot begins playing yet again to massive cheers as Fire and Ice step into the ring together and raise each other’s hands!)
Stew-O: TREMENDOUS win by Fire and Ice who have re-established themselves as a tag team to be reckoned with using such amazing teamwork and chemistry!
Flannery McCoy: Ultimately, it looks like Kirk and Hans were unable to coexist, interfering with each other’s momentum and ultimately messing things up for each other!
Jake Mercer: Luckily, when they go one on one for the Interwire Champion, they’ll have all the opportunity in the world to tear each other to shreds. Tonight, though, victory belongs with Fire and Ice!
(The video feed lingers as the reunited tag team celebrates their victory, while Kirk Redwood glares down at Hans Grayson, who is laid out on the canvas, with a cold look in his eyes. The video feed slowly fades elsewhere.)
(Transitioning backstage, there was some shouting going on. The camerman quickly scurries on in, following the sounds of the intense commotion happening. The noise carries them to a corridor where Shinzo Sasaki and Vincent Mondrian are seen, bickering and going back and forth with the same referee that was in charge of officiating their match last week on Dynasty.)
Stew-O: Oh dear. This looks quite intense. :lupe:
Jake Mercer: Yeah, no kidding!
(The camerman gets a bit closer and the audio gets picked up.)
Referee: Uh…
Vincent Mondrian: Seriously, a count-out? How is that even fair!? I was just about to get in the ring and beat him but you screwed that all up!
Shinzo Sasaki: You? Beat me! Ha! Let’s not be delusional and retell reality as though it is some kind of fanciful tale. If anything, I was close to putting you away, but this incompetent excuse of a referee counted too fast. The likes of you can never defeat Zo Sasaki, and I am more than willing to have another match if it takes that to prove that point.
Vincent Mondrian: Oh, absolutely. Maybe then you’ll stop running your mouth once I beat you and you can learn to humble yourself.
Referee: W-well…
Shinzo Sasaki: I don’t need to humble myself when I am more than fully aware of my capabilities and talents as a competitor, which has been demonstrated on numerous occasions against various Elitists. You wouldn’t be able to defeat the people that I have. You are nothing more than a worthless little scrub.
Vincent Mondrian: Really? Then what happened with that little tournament that you were in? Or the Interwire match?
Shinzo Sasaki: Are you seriously bringing those matches up when I was clearly screwed in those situations, much like how I was last week?
Vincent Mondrian: Oh, right, my bad. I almost forgot you bombed Cash in the Vault just a couple of months back! Or how about two weeks ago at Reckless Wiring? So much for you beating Hans, huh?
Shinzo Sasaki: You lost too, Einstein. You swore up and down that you had BRAE’s number, just like how you think you had my number last week when that clearly isn’t the case. However, I am sick and tired of arguing with you at this rate. You might as well put your money where your mouth is and we get this over with, once and for all.
Vincent Mondrian: You know what? I agree. Let’s not waste anymore time.
(Shinzo scoffs and grabs the referee by the wrist.)
Referee: !!!
Flannery McCoy: Wait, they’re doing the rematch now?
Jake Mercer: Hey, there’s no time like the present, and I say we’re in for a treat since Vincent and Shinzo were going all out last week!
(Vincent grabs the referee by their other wrist.)
Referee: Hey! Wait! The match can’t—
(Both men glare daggers into each other as they both begin to storm through the corridor, dragging the poor official along. However, just as they were getting closer and closer to the gorilla area, someone comes on by.)
???: Hey! Wow, you two are loud. Could’ve sworn a fight was about to break out here!
(Vincent and Shinzo stop right in their tracks, letting the referee go in the process.)
Referee: Man, why did I train as a referee to get into this business!?
(They run off, as Vincent and Shinzo both focus their attention on Cy Henderson.)
Shinzo Sasaki: You? What do you want?
Cy Henderson: Me? Well, like I said, I overheard you two going back and forth in a game of verbal ping pong, so curiosity got the better of me. But then again, I have been keeping an eye on you two for a while now.
Vincent Mondrian: Have you?
Shinzo Sasaki: Tch. Keeping an eye on me, I understand, but him? What exactly does he have that strikes him as noticeable in any regard? He’s nothing special.
Vincent Mondrian: And neither are you. At least I haven’t blown four different major opportunities in a span of a calendar year.
Shinzo Sasaki: At least I have the ability to get those opportunities in the first place and consistently, at that. Meanwhile, your ceiling is being within BRAE’s shadows.
Vincent Mondrian: Is that so? Then you can go ahead and have a crack at him, though I don’t think you would be able to last nearly as long as I did against him.
Shinzo Sasaki: If you’re the standard, then the bar truly is in hell—
Cy Henderson: Hey, hey! We can save the arguments for a later date. I’m being serious here. I think the two of you are great.
(Shinzo and Vincent stop, but they continue to glare at each other through the sides of their eyes. Cy clears his throat and carries on.)
Cy Henderson: Shinzo, you’ve been able to hang with the absolute best and even beat them. You have the genuine talent to be a huge player here. Almost a year ago you were the bright spot in a group that sought to leave an immediate mark here, and since then, you have carried yourself as a solo act. Vincent, you’ve quickly become one of the more impressive new breeds here, and it’s clear that you have the fire and determination to make it far in this promotion. You may have lost your title match, but you put a lot of people on notice and you continue to do so, getting extra eyes on you… including my own.
(Both men look slightly intrigued.)
Shinzo Sasaki: Hm. Well, it’s admittedly always a good feeling when a legend of a business acknowledges you and your hard work. I appreciate it.
Vincent Mondrian: Definitely appreciative. However, are you merely here to exchange pleasantries, or…?
(That’s when a grin forms on Cy’s face.)
Cy Henderson: Well, aside from giving genuine compliments, I did have something in mind. See, I need people just like you two who are real go-getters and can carry your own weight. Both of you have demonstrated that throughout your time in EAW you are always willing to go the distance no matter what, and I think that sort of energy is exactly what I need. Now, you two got your own issues going on, but I think it can be settled at a later date. After all, nothing beats getting to team with two hall of famers, right?
Shinzo Sasaki: Wait a minute…
Vincent Mondrian: So, you–
Cy Henderson: – Want you two to join Chris and I in Team Rebel 2.0? Absolutely!
(Shinzo and Vincent seem pleasantly surprised by this offer.)
Shinzo Sasaki: So, the Brand Warfare match, huh… I suppose it would be foolish to turn down the opportunity. Getting a main event match and to prove my superiority over a vast range of Elitists does sound like a nice time.
Vincent Mondrian: If you can even hold up your part of the weight.
Shinzo Sasaki: Funny, or at least it would’ve been if I wasn’t the same man who knows all about what it takes to team with others. At the very least, my partners this time around won’t be a bunch of listless losers who sit on their hands for me to do all the work for them.
(Shinzo narrows his eyes.)
Shinzo Sasaki: You better not be like them.
(Vincent chortles.)
Vincent Mondrian: You don’t need to worry about me. I won’t let a match like this go to waste. If anything, you can sit back and take credit while I do all of the work.
Shinzo Sasaki: Only in your dreams, Vincent. I would rather be the star myself.
Vincent Mondrian: We’ll see about that, “partner”.
Cy Henderson: :notbad:
(Vincent and Shinzo then leave, with Cy looking more than pleased with the outcome.)
Cy Henderson: Good. Now, it’s time to figure out who the last member will be…
(With that, the shot fades away from Cy and to an overhead shot of the ring.)
Stew-O: So now, Team Rebel 2.0 consists of Cy Henderson, Chris Elite, Shinzo Sasaki and Vincent Mondrian. I don’t want to be biased but that’s a pretty good team.
Jake Mercer: Absolutely. We got a rejuvenated veteran in Cy Henderson, a hungry upstart in Vincent Mondrian, an indefatigable talent in Shinzo Sasaki and… Chris Elite.
Flannery McCoy: Seriously? Just because Bronson isn’t here anymore doesn’t mean you get to unnecessarily hate another Elitist.
Stew-O: At any rate, Brand Warfare is shaping up nicely on the Dynasty side of things, but let’s continue on with the action as our next match is underway!
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following main event contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Pride & Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki can be heard across the speakers as the most polarizing reception can be heard throughout the arena tonight. His presence alone allows the energy to shift greatly in his favor as the audience is only amplified in their negativity. Drake Armstrong emerges from the back with a cocky expression plastered on his face, not allowing negative reception to waver him.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! From Scarsdale, New York, weighing in at 245 pounds…. DRAAAAKE, ARMSTRONG!!!
Stew-O: Drake Armstrong has certainly become one of the most polarizing names to grace the EAW sphere, arguably THE most polarizing among them all. After having the World Heavyweight Championship clash at Reckless Wiring, Armstrong’s focus may have only enhanced since that night as he’s looking to make the most essential of a rebound possible.
Flannery McCoy: Which cannot be doubted by any means, as Drake Armstrong has been more than capable of giving himself momentum when it is most necessary. With Territorial Invasion looming over this wrestling world in the background, now’s as good of a time as ever to give himself a victory.
(‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke can be heard throughout the speakers as the audience responds with immense reactions. Chris Elite emerges from the back with a confident & focused expression on his face, nodding to the reactions as he walks down the ramp looking forward to the match tonight as he sets his eyes onto the ring ahead.)
Stephie Love: And introducing his opponent! From Brooklyn, New York! Weighing in at 210 pounds… CHRISSSSSSSS, ELITE!!!
Stew-O: Of course, we have the returning EAW Hall of Famer who has no doubt been looking to rack up these victories while he’s experiencing newfound momentum. His return at Reckless Wiring surely enticed far more intrigue, and he’s looking to continue on this trajectory that he’s been mounting up for himself as he faces Armstrong.
Jake Mercer: And he has been given his own spot on Cy Henderson’s team for representing Dynasty at Territorial Invasion, which has only stamped Chris Elite as a name with all of the prestige that an elitist can have. A kind of prestige that Drake Armstrong will undoubtedly be interested in defeating…
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! Chris Elite is right back to competing right here on Dynasty as he’s taking on Drake Armstrong! Of course, Chris & Drake are not the most familiar of foes tonight while they are going one on one, and we know how Chris is trying to continue this newfound momentum that he has been earning for himself since returning back to EAW. Drake Armstrong may be looking for another victory over an EAW Hall of Famer as well, so this will be a very valuable bout for the Future to undergo here if he’s trying to accomplish exactly that. Drake’s imposing quote the confident expression for himself as well, which is pretty indicative of where his head is at going into this match.
Flannery McCoy: I understand Drake is keeping his composure and all that, but he’s surely gonna have to work as hard as he needs to if he wants to take Chris Elite down. Now Chris & Drake are pacing around the ring here, as Chris is looking to get this match started as he’s motioning for a collar & elbow tie-up to kick things off for this match in a more proper manner. Chris reaches forward—but Drake doesn’t entertain the prospect of a beginning as much as Chris was as he’s just reached around with his arm wrapped around his neck! Now Drake Armstrong is keeping that headlock well imposed and making sure that Chris Elite isn’t given much room to work with here!
Jake Mercer: Now Drake is ensuring there’s no room given for the EAW Hall of Famer, shaking his own head repeatedly as he’s not letting go of this headlock! But Chris Elite is always gonna prove to be a very resilient elitist, as he’s making no shadow of the doubt here by making the push toward the ropes here! Now he has Armstrong leaned back first against the ropes as he looks to shove him off—BUT NO SIGNS OF LETTING GO FROM DRAKE! He only strengths this vice grip that he has with his arms wrapped around his neck, as he slides himself down with his momentum from the push as he’s keeping this locked in!
Stew-O: Well, leave it to Drake Armstrong to drag this out for as long as humanly possible so he can restrict any offense from Chris Elite. Cutting the momentum of this match entirely short on Chris’ end so he can allow himself all of the time in the world. But look at Chris now, as he’s rising back up to his feet after just being on a knee, and now he may be mustering up much of his strength to nail this back body drop & take Drake Armstong down before he knows it!!
Flannery McCoy: BUT DRAKE ON HIS FEET, STICKING THE LANDING AS HE GOES FOR A SWING BEHIND CHRIS—but Chris Elite ducks the swing as Drake’s running the ropes, now running himself back after rebounding from the ropes as well.. DIRECTLY INTO A DROPKICK FROM CHRIS ELITE!!! Drake is immediately rolling himself out of the ring, shaking his head as he’s now leaning against the apron while Chris is back up to his feet!
Jake Mercer: Looks like Chris isn’t too happy with Drake being on the outside now, but he’s looking toward the audience now for a brief moment as he’s nodding to himself! Chris rushes toward the ropes, right before rebounding back and AIMING FOR THE SUICIDE DIVE—
Stew-O: But Drake just walks off!!! Surely isn’t getting any flowers for his performance so far as he walks away, halting Chris for the moment—BUT CHRIS WITH A SUDDEN CROSSBODY FROM THE APRON AND ONTO ARMSTRONG!! Chris Elite is now back up to his feet, and he’s applying the pressure tonight as Drake wasn’t expecting Chris Elite to commit to putting him down! Now Elite is maintaining this control while he’s got Armstrong, dragging him over and back on up as he’s slamming his head DOWN onto our announce desk!
Flannery McCoy: Drake Armstrong is surely facing all kinds of pressure with Chris Elite right now, as Chris hasn’t relented from slamming his head onto the desk for a SECOND TIME! AND A THIRD!!! Chris Elite is making very sure that Drake doesn’t have too much movement to work with as long as he’s able to stand on his own! But the referee has been counting down, which is certainly something that the former World Champion needs to make quite the note of!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
Jake Mercer: Now Chris is taking matters into his own hands by tossing Drake Armstrong back into the ring! Drake’s in a prone position while Chris is bringing himself up to the ring, clutching onto the ropes here as he’s pulling himself up—WOAH! ARMSTRONG WITH A SUDDEN KICK OF THE ROPES WHILE CHRIS WAS MOTIONING HIMSELF THROUGH THEM!! Chris Elite is clutching his own neck as the environmental awareness of Drake Armstrong was presented on full display right there!
Stew-O: And it doesn’t look like Armstrong is slowing himself down, as he did receive quite the pressure while on the outside floor and right onto our own announce desk, but Chris is coughing up a storm as Drake is now rolling himself out of the ring and onto the apron! He’s grabbing a hold of Chris & pulling his upper body under the top rope, with a MODIFIED CAMEL CLUTCH BEING APPLIED HERE WHILE CHRIS ELITE IS STRUGGLING! The referee is counting down as this is very much gonna contribute to a disqualification if Drake continues using the ropes to his own advantage here!
Flannery McCoy: Drake finally allows some levity for Chris Elite and let’s go of the hold he had, but each second mattered considerably as now Chris Elite is slumped over onto the rope, shaking his own head as he’s grasping onto his neck while Armstrong is now assuming a far more differentiated position here! He’s twisting Chris Elite around and now has his legs draped over his own shoulders!!! Now Drake is LEAPING OFF THE APRON—MY GOODNESS!!! ALABAMA SLAM AS CHRIS ELITE’S THROAT MEETS THE TOP ROPE NOW!!
Jake Mercer: Hell of a maneuver from Drake Armstrong, able to use the ropes as the perfect place for gaining control in this match! Chris falters onto the mat as he’s clutching his own throat, with Armstrong sliding back into the ring as he’s crawling over to Chris, hooking his leg for the pin here!!
ONEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOO!!!
THR—
Stew-O: Not enough!! Chris Elite is not allowing himself to be taken down so easily by the pressure that Drake Armstrong has allowed himself to apply! But Armstrong is quick to react, mounting himself right over Chris as he’s laying in the punches right onto Chris Elite with good measure here, making sure there’s absolutely no room for Elite to work with! Chris will surely need to bring himself to a more favorable position, but that’s becoming all the more difficult to do with Drake’s craftiness being shown on full display.
Flannery McCoy: It’s certainly difficult to understand that, as now Drake is dragging Chris Elite over to the nearest corner of the ring, leaning him against the corner as he’s now stomping down onto his chest! Each stomp being repeated with far more intensity than the ever! This isn’t looking the best for Chris right now, as Drake is just stomping away while the referee is counting down here, with Drake just BARELY missing the five count as he prevents himself from getting disqualified!! Now the referee is giving quite the scolding toward Drake Armstrong here, but Drake isn’t all too concerned with that as he’s motioning right back over to Chris!
Jake Mercer: ‘Cause Armstrong is now dragging Chris back up from his previous position, and turning him right around as he’s now placing him over the turnbuckle & into the tree of woe position! This isn’t good for Chris Elite right now as Drake’s stomping away!!! Each stomp being dealt directly across his chest as he’s taking his sweet time with each stomp, understanding all of the time that he has in his very hands! Shortly before delivering one last stomp to complete ‘DRAKENOMICS’—
Stew-O: BUT CHRIS QUICKLY SHIFTS HIMSELF UPWARD, AS DRAKE MISSES THE BOOT WITH HIS LEG OVER THE BOTTOM ROPE! Drake eagerly looks upward—but he’s met with a fierce elbow right across his temple for good measure!!! Drake’s clutching his own head right now as he’s backing away from Chris Elite, with Chris perched up at the top of the turnbuckle here just before HOPPING ONTO THE TOP ROPE—AND LEAPING RIGHT ONTO DRAKE ARMSTRONG WITH A SPRINGBOARD CLOTHESLINE TO TAKE HIM DOWN!!! Chris Elite is finding his own momentum in strides!
Flannery McCoy: Drake Armstrong was making sure that the pressure he applied was enough to suppress Chris Elite, but he couldn’t continue doing so for long! Chris finds a way to revert much of his energy back toward himself as he’s now working his own way back up, with Armstrong clutching onto the ropes while he’s also moving back up! Drake catches Chris at the corner of his eye and LOOKS TO DROP HIM WITH A BOOT—
Jake Mercer: BUT CHRIS DUCKS AS DRAKE TURNS HIMSELF AROUND—DIRECTLY INTO ‘HEAD SHOT’!!! THE PELE KICK CATCHES ARMSTRONG AS HE WAS TURNING AROUND! Drake is now staggered as he’s stumbling backward into the ropes, and moving forward with the brief momemtum of the ropes as he doesn’t seem out of it entirely, trying to turn this match around with another attempt with a clothesline here!!!
Stew-O: AS CHRIS DUCKS THE ARM & LIFTS ARMSTRONG UP INTO THE FIREMAN’S CARRY POSITION! Drake’s staggered considerably still as he’s flailing his arms around and trying to escape.. BUT IT ISN’T ENOUGH! THE ROUNDHOUSE KICK CONNECTS AS DRAKE IS DROPPED ONTO THE MAT SOON AFTERWARD! Chris Elite rushes himself over to Drake Armstrong and makes sure to hook the leg here, looking to take this match to another victory!
ONEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOO!!!
THR—
Flannery McCoy: KICK OUT!! Drake is still in this match here! Chris Elite nods to himself as he does understand that the match won’t end so quickly, but he’s not exactly gonna slow down the pace by any means either like Drake would, as he’s now dragging Drake over to the corner, and now it’s his own turn to send the hurt right back to Drake without a problem… AS A SWIFT CHOP CONNECTS RIGHT ACROSS DRAKE ARMSTRONG’S CHEST!! Drake clutches his own chest in pain as that chop can be heard across the arena tonight! But Chris isn’t done as he’s now sending ANOTHER CHOP sprawling across his chest!!!
Jake Mercer: While these chops are doing their job at suppressing Drake Armstrong to the best of their abilities, Chris Elite is also keeping in mind that the referee will absolutely be aware of when to count the five and make sure disqualification comes along! Now Chris is hoisting Drake Armstrong over his own shoulder, as he’s turning himself around & eyeing the opposite corner and… HE’S LOOKING FOR THE ‘44 BULLDOG’ LAWN DART DIRECTLY TOWARD THE CORNER!!
Stew-O: BUT DRAKE SQUIRMS FREE AND DROPS DOWN BEHIND HIM—AS HE HAS ‘BOURGEOIS BITE’ APPLIED!! The abdominal stretch is maintained as Drake is now sending repeated elbows to the abdomen of Chris Elite to make sure that he’s suppressed to the maximum right now! Chris is struggling considerably, fighting through the pain that’s being dealt as Drake Armstrong has been able to evade disaster with the lawn dart, and now he’s placing Chris Elite through the struggle here with this submission!!! The referee is asking Chris Elite repeatedly if he would like to give up, but Chris is very much refusing to submit!
Flannery McCoy: Drake is shaking his own head, keeping the submission applied for as long as he possibly can himself! Chris Elite isn’t looking to tap or give in the pain here as he’s now squirming his own leg free—TO NAIL A SWIFT KNEE UPWARD INTO DRAKE’S TEMPLE! Armstrong has no choice but to let go as he drops down to a knee, with Chris not allowing himself to waste another second of his time as HE DRAGS ARMSTRONG DIRECTLY INTO POSITION FOR—
Jake Mercer: ‘DEAD ROSES’!!! Chris Elite is able to plant Armstrong’s face directly onto the cold mat as now Chris can rush back over to Drake, hooking the leg once more as the referee is able to slide over to the count!!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEE—
Stew-O: STILL NOT IT! Drake Armstrong is able to kick out and keep this match rolling! Chris Elite isn’t looking to slow down all the more however, as he’s now looking to bring himself upward to the top here, moving through the ropes and up to the very top of the turnbuckle while Armstrong is still struggling to bring himself back up or move out of the way! Chris has Drake exactly where he needs him as there is nothing more to wait on here for the EAW Hall of Famer… AS HE’S LEAPING OFF FOR ‘AIMIN’ FOR THE MOON’—
Flannery McCoy: BUT DRAKE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! CHRIS ELITE MANAGES TO LAND ON HIS OWN FEET AND ROLL THROUGH!!! Chris immediately turns himself around as Drake’s clutching onto his own head, leaned against the turnbuckle as Chris Elite decides to rush back toward Drake Armstrong & seek out the pressure he needs to apply—BUT DRAKE WITH A KICK DIRECTLY TO THE KNEE TO MAKE HIM BUCKLE UNDER PRESSURE! Chris falls forward and face first onto the turnbuckle as Drake’s now rushing back up to his own feet! Chris is temporarily staggered as Drake is now taking advantage here, placing Elite back into position… AS HE NAILS ‘NATURAL TALENT’!!! THE BRIDGING SUPLEX LANDS AS HE MAINTAINS THE PIN!!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEE—
Jake Mercer: STILL NOT IT! Chris Elite refuses to stay down!!! Drake Armstrong shakes his own head as he’s now moving over to the corner, with Chris rising back up to his feet, trying to keep himself in this match while Armstrong’s lying in wait for what’s about to come next! Armstrong wants to end this match once & for all with what he’s got in store… AS HE’S RUSHING TOWARD CHRIS ELITE FOR THE ‘HALBERD FROM HELL’—
Stew-O: ‘OPEN YA MATA’!!!! V-TRIGGER KNEE STRIKE FROM CHRIS ELITE IS ABLE TO PUT DRAKE ARMSTRONG DOWN AND MAKE HIM SLUMP DOWN ONTO THE MAT!!! An emphatic counter as Chris is now reeling as well, crawling over to the ropes and seeing that Drake is laid out right now!! With Drake not moving a single inch, CHRIS ELITE IS LOOKING TO PUT AN EMPHATIC END TO THIS MATCH AS HE’S NOW RUSHING HIMSELF FORWARD & TOWARD HIS OPPONENT!
Flannery McCoy: BUT DRAKE’S REACHING IN HIS OWN TIGHTS!!!
Jake Mercer: CHRIS LEAPS UPWARD FOR THE ‘HOURS IN SILENCE’—
(POW!!!!!!)
Stew-O: THE RING!!! DRAKE ARMSTRONG JUST NAILED CHRIS ELITE ACROSS HIS OWN ABDOMEN WITH THE RING!!! AND THE REFEREE SAW EVERY BIT OF THAT AS HE CALLS FOR THE BELL!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE’S YOUR WINNER AS A RESULT OF DISQUALIFICATION… CHRIS ELITE!!!
Flannery McCoy: BUT IT DOESN’T SEEM TO BE OVER, AS DRAKE ARMSTRONG IS GETTING HIMSELF UP WHILE CHRIS CLUTCHES HIS OWN ABDOMEN, LOOKING TO STRIKE CHRIS ELITE SQUARE IN THE FACE—
Jake Mercer: CHRIS DUCKS AS DRAKE TURNS—DIRECTLY INTO A PELE KICK!!! NOW CHRIS IS MOUNTING THE PUNCHES ONTO ARMSTRONG AS HE PRYS THE RING OUT OF HIS FINGER, TOSSING IT AWAY AS ARMSTRONG GETS HIMSELF UP! BOTH MEN ARE THROWING HAYMAKERS TOWARD ONE ANOTHER AS THIS ISN’T OVER JUST YET!!
Stew-O: AND HERE COMES SEVERAL OFFICIALS SPRAWLING INTO THE RING! BOTH ELITISTS ARE STILL TOSSING THEIR LEFTS & RIGHTS TOWARD ONE ANOTHER AS THE SECURITY ARE HAVING ADDITIONAL DIFFICULTY TRYING TO KEEP THEM SEPERATED!
(As the security are finally able to seperate the two, ‘Saint Pablo’ can be heard across the speakers as Cy Henderson can be walking down the ramp, raising an eyebrow as he sees the commotion going down in the ring. He enters the ring with a microphone in hand, as he stands in the middle of the mat while looking toward the two.)
Cy Henderson: I’d say that’s about enough, I’ve seen more than enough from the two of you. We’ve got plenty to worry about, so this can stop before it has to devolve into anything more than pointless brawling done for the sake of fighting. I’ve got a team to assemble to its fullest extent here, I’d prefer if I’m not left doubting anyone that I choose to represent this brand and more importantly, give us the victory we most certainly deserve at Territorial Invasion.
(Cy glances toward Chris.)
Cy Henderson: I know what you can do, and it’s exactly why you were given your deserved spot on the team earlier. We’re not gonna have this go any further than it should, ‘cause in regards to the man you just fought…
(Cy then glances toward Drake, who has quite the scowl while looking toward Cy, given their extended history.)
Cy Henderson: I already know all about what you are capable of, those matches we’ve had with one another from the season prior have become enough of a reminder of why I’m standing here right now. You would be a necessary commodity to the team, which is exactly why I’m giving you the last spot for Dynasty. Whatever you do, don’t try treading down the same road that you went down when competing against me, I can assure you that’s not what will bring us victory. It’s time to put our differences to the side, and most of all, channeling all of that pent up anger you’ve got reserved within yourself for a cause that’s bigger than our warring. If you can do that, then we’ll be just fine. Welcome to the team…
Jake Mercer: Wow, well would you look at that!!! Cy Henderson can put differences to the side and give Drake Armstrong the spot on the team for Dynasty at Territorial Invasion!
Stew-O: Despite being disqualified, it seems the result did not sway Cy from giving the spot to Drake Armstrong, as the lineup for Dynasty has been finalized! This can very well be the team that brings glory to the brand at the immense event to come…
(Cy lowered the microphone, as security kept the two elitists at bay while they shared disgruntled expressions as the scene soon fades out.)
(A commercial plays for Despicable Me 4.)
(Dynasty came back on air, as none other than the New Breed Champion BRAE stood. He paced around back and forth with a look of consideration on his face, until he spoke.)
BRAE: I had a busy week last week. But I also got the privilege of witnessing something special. Last week a war occurred between one Chiyo Gedo and Damien Kutcher. One where the winner got either the most fortunate opportunity of their life… or the most unfortunate thing to ever happen. In that war that was waged, I anticipated something stupid to happen honestly. I was suspecting a lackluster performance where both men proceeded to do it themselves. Circumstances proved opposite however — Chiyo Gedo, I’ll go ahead and give credit where it is due. I have seen him around, and I have already faced him in that ring before. But that wasn’t the same Chiyo Gedo as prior. That was a different version of him, that I beat in only his second match. I have watched him grow and evolve into the man he is now…. But I am not sure. I am not sure how true this version of Chiyo Gedo really is. The last one had the ball; and he kind of flunked his run with it. This is a new form of Chiyo Gedo though since the last time we met.. more unfortunately for him however…
(BRAE looked at the camera. He adjusted the New Breed Championship making it prominent in the visuals.)
BRAE: I am going to give some proper individual credit to myself. I haven’t only been the New Breed Champion, I have worn this title with pride. I have bestowed this title in front of everyone with honor, I have placed it here with respect. The last time I faced Chiyo Gedo was an entirely different BRAE. We were standing in a different ball park. Back when, my responsibility was small. My entire landscape has changed however, and we are fighting for something so much more important. Prestige, honor, accolade. It’s going to continue to be this way. And it’s going to continue to rest upon my shoulder. My time as champion has only really been getting started despite rapidly flying by. But whoever stands in my way.. Well it should be pretty self explanatory. You pose yourself as that next person that is standing in my way.. Chiyo; and I am gonna defeat anyone who attempts that conquest.
(BRAE looked at the camera. His point was coming across as much as he possibly could now..)
BRAE: If it were gonna take Chiyo Gedo to defeat me.. It was gonna take a whole lot more than that. Someone who decided to pick up the pace after all this time has passed? I watched Chiyo Gedo get knocked down by some of the lowest tier of opponents. Now he decides to turn it on, now he decides to be this opposite version of himself. Better late than never; but why have you decided to hide this away all along.. This should already be you. I should have already felt this version of you. You decided to flip a switch and change the entire narrative of yourself. While good — that’s the problem. I did the same thing, but even then, I was never not motivated. We don’t know if the motivation of Chiyo Gedo is even sustainable. And that might drive us to the brink of insanity. But you waited too long to get it into that next gear. You spent too much time in first gear, now you have to make a quick transition. A feasible attempt. But you know..? This is exactly why I cannot lose to you Chiyo. You have only gotten here, I have remained here. You chose to be in this position, I am led by my New Breed Championship to be in this position. I have no other choice but to be the best plausible champion that I can be.. And when you come from me, you are going to see that live in action. The venom that courses through my veins in the act of being a more proper champion, a more dedicated one is something that will simply swallow you; whole. And I don’t know if you truly have an idea of that yet.
(BRAE made the New Breed Championship the pinnacle of interest for his message.)
BRAE: To beat a man like me, not only will you need to be motivated, but you will need determination. You will need to kick into that second gear. You will need to bring the very best version of yourself, in order to not omit immense failure. Now, I have full intention to bring that best version of myself. That really shouldn’t even need to be put out there. There is never a match I have, where the best version of myself isn’t delivered. But my question for Chiyo is — are you? Are you going to be that unlocked and untapped version of yourself? Or will you flounder in being nothing but a retortion of whom you once were. I only want the most significant competitors in my title reign. I only want the best of the best. And if you have no room to be that version of yourself… then you have no reason to win that match. I place my doubts in you, Chiyo.. But that benefit of the doubt may be just what opens my eyes up most on you. Right now though, as I see your improvements. As I witnessed your development beforehand…I don’t know yet, I highly doubt it. So for that statement made; I am just going to tell you one thing. You still have time before our New Breed Championship match. So the best thing for you to do my friend; go ahead and start getting it together.
(With that stated, BRAE looked at the camera once more as the scene faded out from there. A message sent towards Chiyo Gedo telling him to get it together, as Dynasty faded elsewhere.)
(Dynasty returns to ringside, and Stephie Love is seen with a microphone in her hand.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen… The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!!
(‘Saint Pablo’ by Kanye West hits, and the fans in attendance begin to boo as Cy Henderson begins to walk out to the stage. Cy doesn’t look too bothered by the reaction from the fans, instead ready for this match as he knows he has a chance to put down the King of Elite holder ahead of his World Championship match. Before long, Cy begins walking down the ramp and towards the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first!… From New York City, New York… Weighing in at 240 pounds… THE JUSTICE SEEKER, CCCYYYYYYYYYYY HHEEEEEENNNNNDDEEERRRRSSSOOOOONNNNNNNN!!!!!!
Stew-O: Here comes Cy Henderson, who as we know will be facing Myles for the World Heavyweight Championship before Territorial Invasion. With that in mind, I’d say this is an interesting match.
Jake Mercer: Two men with future World Championship matches coming up will be going at it, but we all know that the only man that deserves a shot right now is-
Flannery McCoy: We know. Your Kaiser, blah blah blah. Please focus on the match in front of you, because we’re about to see two very talented Elitists go at it, and both of them have the chance to be World Champion soon enough.
(‘2024’ by Playboi Carti follows, and cheers come from the crowd as Joso makes his way to the stage. Joso looks focused on the match ahead of him, but there’s still a confident look on his face as he clearly looks ready for his match against Cy Henderson. Joso doesn’t spend too much time on the stage, quickly beginning to head down the ramp so he can face Cy as soon as possible.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… From The Bronx, New York… Weighing in at 206 pounds… HE IS THE KING OF ELITE, JOOOOOOOOOSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Here comes Joso, who as we know will be facing the World Heavyweight Champion at House of Glass. This could mean Joso will face Myles, or it could mean that we see a rematch of tonight’s show at House of Glass!
Jake Mercer: Well either way, I’m sure both men will bring their best to this match. Regardless of what happens in a few weeks, this is a good chance to build momentum.
Flannery McCoy: That’s right, and that’s exactly what these two should be focused on. Now, who will win? The number one contender, or the King of Elite?
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And here we go! Cy and Joso begin circling the ring, AND JOSO RUSHES IN FOR THE LOCK UP, BUT CY IS ABLE TO TURN AND POWER JOSO INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING! Cy presses Joso against the turnbuckles- AND CY TRIES TO SWING AT JOSO, BUT JOSO DUCKS UNDER IT BEFORE CONNECTING WITH AN ENZUIGIRI! Cy is stunned as Joso gets back up, and now Joso rushes in- AND I’M NOT SURE WHAT HE WAS LOOKING FOR, BUT CY STOPPED IT WITH AN ELBOW TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! Joso stumbles out of the corner, and now Cy grabs him before dragging him to the mat with a headlock takedown!
Jake Mercer: Cy is slowing the pace down with that headlock, forcing Joso to struggle here and prevent him from getting going! Joso is stuck in this headlock, but he’s trying his best to fight out of it knowing that he has the disadvantage of Cy being the larger competitor! Cy Henderson could keep Joso here for as long as he wants, as Joso is the one in trouble here! Joso needs to find his way out of this- AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S ACCOMPLISHED THAT AS HE GETS CY WITH A HEADSCISSORS, PULLING CY OFF OF HIM!
Flannery McCoy: Cy pulls himself out of the headscissors, and now both men quickly get back to their feet! Cy swings at Joso, BUT JOSO DUCKS UNDER IT BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A PELE KICK! JOSO KIPS UP AS CY STUMBLES TO HIS FEET, AND JOSO DELIVERS A DROPKICK THAT SENDS CY ROLLING OUT OF THE RING! Joso is looking fired up, and he definitely has the crowd behind him right now! Joso begins running the ropes as Cy gets back up, AND JOSO FLIES THROUGH THE ROPES WITH A SUICIDE DIVE-
Stew-O: BUT CY STOPS HIM IN HIS TRACKS, CONNECTING WITH A FOREARM! JOSO TUMBLES OUT TO RINGSIDE, AND THAT WAS A ROUGH LANDING FOR JOSO! CY HENDERSON DRAGS JOSO UP, AND NOW HE SENDS HIM CRASHING INTO THE BARRICADE! Joso is hurting here as Cy drags him up once more, AND HE DELIVERS A BACK SUPLEX DROP ONTO THE BARRICADE AS JOSO ONCE AGAIN IS DROPPED ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR! Joso is trying to grab onto the barricade to pull himself up, but Cy just delivers a kick to the ribs! Joso is down, and everyone in attendance right now is booing Cy Henderson!
Jake Mercer: Well it doesn’t look like Cy cares much about that. He is pulling Joso back up, AND HE THROWS JOSO INTO THE STEPS- BUT JOSO JUMPS ONTO THE STEPS BEFORE TURNING AND DELIVERING A DIVING EUROPEAN UPPERCUT TO CY!! Joso uses the apron to pull himself back up, and that was a huge counter for him! Joso sends Cy Henderson back in the ring before following behind, and as Cy pushes himself back up, he’s dropped to a knee with a superkick to the leg! Joso now with a superkick to the face, AND JOSO FOLLOWS THIS UP WITH THE DOUBLE FOOT STOMP! HUGE COMBINATION AS JOSO FALLS ONTO CY FOR THE COVER!
ONE!
TWO!!
Flannery McCoy: Cy Henderson kicks out! Joso pushes himself back to his feet before beginning to drag Cy back up, AND I THINK JOSO IS ABOUT TO SET CY UP FOR CRIMSON PEAK- BUT CY CHARGES INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING, SETTING JOSO BACK FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLES ONCE MORE! Cy stumbles out of the corner as this gives Joso some time to recover, AND JOSO CHARGES AT CY- BUT CY DUCKS DOWN BEFORE DROPPING JOSO WITH A SPINEBUSTER!!!
Stew-O: Huge move by Cy Henderson there, and he takes some time to collect himself before beginning to get back up. Joso is hurt, and Cy gets on top of him before beginning to throw forearms and elbows to the face! Joso tries his best to cover himself up and block these strikes, but Cy Henderson is all over him! Cy gets back to his feet, and he just begins stomping on Joso before finally pulling him back up! Cy with a forearm to Joso, AND NOW HE LIFTS JOSO UP FOR PHANTOM DEATH- BUT WAIT A SECOND! JOSO SLIPS BEHIND CY!
Jake Mercer: JOSO CONNECTS WITH A JUMPING NECKBREAKER ON CY, AND NOW JOSO QUICKLY USES THE ROPES TO PULL HIMSELF UP BEFORE STUMBLING INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING! CY SLOWLY GETS BACK UP TO HIS FEET, AND NOW JOSO RUNS IN BEFORE HITTING CY WITH A BICYCLE KNEE! CY CRUMBLES TO THE MAT, AND NOW JOSO BACKS UP AS HE SEES A HUGE OPPORTUNITY FOR HIMSELF! JOSO BEGINS RUNNING THE ROPES AS CY GETS TO ALL FOURS, AND NOW JOSO GOES FOR A CURB STOMP- BUT IT DOESN’T CONNECT!
Flannery McCoy: CY MANAGED TO BACK UP, AND NOW HE GRABS JOSO FROM BEHIND BEFORE BEGINNING TO LIFT HIM UP! CY IS LOOKING FOR THE RISING TIDE- BUT JOSO WAS ABLE TO SLIP OUT OF HIS GRASP! JOSO LANDS BEHIND CY, AND HE LOOKS FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX- BUT CY IS ABLE TO CONNECT WITH A BACK ELBOW TO THE JAW! JOSO STUMBLES BACK, BUT CY PULLS HIM IN AS HE LOOKS FOR AN EXPLODER SUPLEX! JOSO DOESN’T LET IT CONNECT SO EASILY THOUGH, AS THIS TIME HE’S THE ONE THAT IS ABLE TO DELIVER ELBOWS TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!
Stew-O: Joso connects with another European uppercut, and this causes Cy Henderson to stumble back! Joso now running the ropes- BUT WAIT A SECOND, WHAT THE HELL??? CY HENDERSON IS ABLE TO SCOOP JOSO UP, BEFORE PLANTING HIM WITH A MILITARY PRESS POWERSLAM!!! HUGE MOVE BY CY HENDERSON, AND NOW HE’S THE ONE THAT GOES FOR THE COVER AS HE HOOKS THE LEGS ON JOSO!
ONE!
TWO!!
Stew-O: ANOTHER KICKOUT AS THIS TIME IT’S JOSO THAT’S ABLE TO SURVIVE! This has been a very back and forth contest so far. Who will walk out of it with the victory!?
Jake Mercer: Cy Henderson drags Joso back up before placing him on the top rope, and he hits Joso with a forearm before beginning to climb up to the middle turnbuckle! It looks like Cy may have a superplex on his mind here as he begins setting Joso up, BUT JOSO STILL HAS SOME LIFE IN HIM, AND HE’S ABLE TO BEGIN THROWING PUNCHES TO THE RIBS OF CY! CY HENDERSON TAKING MULTIPLE PUNCHES TO THE RIBS, AND THIS ALLOWS JOSO TO SHOVE CY OFF THE TOP ROPE BEFORE GETTING HIMSELF INTO POSITION! Cy is able to roll through to his feet, BUT I DON’T THINK THAT SAVED HIM AS JOSO DIVES OFF THE TOP ROPE FOR A HURRICANRANA-
Flannery McCoy: WAIT, NO! CY CATCHES JOSO ON HIS SHOULDERS, AND HE HAS HIM IN POSITION FOR A POWERBOMB! CY IS CARRYING JOSO- BUT JOSO BEGINS TO REPEATEDLY PUNCH AWAY AT CY’S HEAD, LOOKING TO PREVENT HIM FROM CONNECTING WITH THE POWERBOMB! CY BEGINS TO STUMBLE AFTER A BIT, AND FINALLY JOSO LANDS ON HIS FEET BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A BICYCLE KICK! CY HENDERSON DROPS DOWN TO A KNEE, AND NOW JOSO PULLS HIM IN, POTENTIALLY LOOKING TO PLANT CY WITH A PILEDRIVER!
Stew-O: CY DOESN’T LET THAT HAPPEN, INSTEAD LIFTING JOSO UP WITH A BACK BODY DROP! JOSO IS ABLE TO LAND ON HIS FEET, BUT CY CONNECTS WITH A BACK ELBOW BEFORE JOSO COULD GO ON THE OFFENSIVE! Now it’s Joso that drops down to a knee, and Cy sends Joso into the ropes with an irish whip! Cy looks for a lariat, BUT JOSO DUCKS UNDER IT BEFORE BOUNCING OFF THE OPPOSITE PAIR OF ROPES! CY SCOOPS UP JOSO- BUT JOSO IS ABLE TO TRANSITION INTO A TILT-A-WHIRL DDT, PLANTING CY HEAD FIRST ONTO THE MAT! WHAT A MOVE BY JOSO!
Jake Mercer: Joso rolls out to the apron before pulling himself up, and I think he has another big move on his mind here as Cy is down and out! Joso now, LOOKING FOR A SPRINGBOARD 450 SPLASH- NO! IT DOESN’T CONNECT, AT LEAST NOT HOW JOSO WANTED IT TO! CY WAS ABLE TO GET THE KNEES UP JUST BEFORE JOSO DELIVERED THE 450 SPLASH, CAUSING JOSO TO LAND RIGHT ON TOP OF THEM! JOSO ROLLS OFF OF CY AS BOTH MEN FIND THEMSELVES BACK TO THEIR FEET- AND JOSO TURNS RIGHT INTO THE CYCLONE LARIAT!!!!
Flannery McCoy: JOSO IS TURNED INSIDE OUT BY THE CYCLONE LARIAT AS HE DROPS TO THE MAT, AND I THINK THERE’S A GOOD CHANCE THIS MATCH MAY BE OVER AS CY GOES FOR THE COVER!
ONE!
TWO!!
THRE-
Flannery McCoy: JOSO GETS THE SHOULDER UP!!! This match isn’t over yet after all as Joso refuses to go out without a fight. Cy looks towards the referee who confirms that Joso kicked out, and Cy doesn’t look too pleased by that result. Cy slowly backs into the far corner of the ring, and it looks like he’s setting up for something as he waits for Joso to return to his feet!
Stew-O: Joso slowly begins finding his way back to his feet, AND NOW CY HENDERSON BURSTS OUT OF THE CORNER! CY CHARGES IN FOR CALAMITY- BUT JOSO LEAPS OUT OF THE WAY, CAUSING CY TO CRASH SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST!!! JOSO NOW WITH A SUNSET FLIP ROLL UP TO CY, PULLING HIM DOWN INTO A PIN!!!!
ONE!
TWO-
Stew-O: CY ROLLS OUT OF IT, BUT JOSO IS ABLE TO PUSH HIM BACK WITH A BOOT TO THE FACE BEFORE GETTING BACK UP! Joso now pulling himself onto the middle rope, BEFORE GOING FOR A DIVING-
Jake Mercer: NO! CY CATCHES JOSO, BEFORE PLANTING HIM WITH A URANAGE SLAM! Joso goes down, and he tries using the ropes to pull himself back to his feet- BUT CY SENDS HIM INTO THE ROPES WITH AN IRISH WHIP, BEFORE DROPPING HIM WITH A BIG BOOT! JOSO STUMBLES INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING, AND NOW CY RUSHES IN BEFORE DELIVERING A CLOTHESLINE! It looks like Cy has gained full control of this one now, as he lifts Joso up before just dropping him onto the center of the mat with a body slam!
Flannery McCoy: Joso is hurting right now, AND I THINK CY SEES THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO LOCK IN THE VOID LOCK- BUT JOSO DOESN’T LET IT HAPPEN THAT EASILY! JOSO IS ABLE TO TURN AND KICK CY OFF OF HIM, BEFORE TRYING TO PUSH HIMSELF BACK UP! JOSO NOW TURNING AND HITTING CY WITH A FOREARM- BUT CY RESPONDS WITH A RIGHT HAND, CAUSING JOSO TO STUMBLE! JOSO LOOKS TO RESPOND WITH A BICYCLE KICK- BUT CY AVOIDS IT BEFORE GRABBING JOSO FROM BEHIND! GERMAN SUPLEX BY CY- NO! JOSO FLIPS OUT OF IT AND LANDS ON HIS FEET!
Stew-O: JOSO QUICKLY SCOOPS CY HENDERSON UP INTO A FIREMAN’S CARRY- AND I THINK JOSO WAS SETTING UP FOR RUNAWAY, BUT CY DOESN’T LET IT HAPPEN THAT EASILY! CY BEGINS DELIVERING ELBOWS TO THE SIDE OF JOSO’S HEAD, AND THIS FINALLY FORCES JOSO TO LET GO OF CY! CY DROPS DOWN TO HIS FEET, AND HE PUSHES JOSO BACK WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION! CY GRABS HIM BY THE ARM- BUT JUST AS HE PULLS JOSO IN, JOSO DELIVERS A FOREARM! These two are really going back and forth right now, AND JOSO TRIES TO SET UP FOR A 1916- BUT CY TRANSITIONS INTO AN EXPLODER SUPLEX!
Jake Mercer: Joso was just planted by that exploder suplex, and now Cy seems to once again be in control of his one as he pulls Joso up and just throws a few knees to the midsection! Joso will be fighting for the World Heavyweight Championship at House of Glass, and there’s a chance that THIS is the match we see there. With that said, I can see why Cy would want this victory! Cy now with one last knee to Joso, BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP FOR ANOTHER ATTEMPT AT PHANTOM DEATH!!
Flannery McCoy: AND IT LOOKS LIKE THIS ONE DIDN’T GO TO PLAN EITHER AS JOSO PULLS HIMSELF DOWN BEHIND CY! JOSO IS ABLE TO LIFT CY UP FROM BEHIND, BEFORE DROPPING HIM ONTO THE MAT WITH INCOMING SILENCE!!!! HUGE MOVE BY JOSO AS CY HENDERSON IS DOWN AND OUT, AND JOSO KEEPS CY IN POSITION FOR THE COVER!!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE-
Flannery McCoy: BUT SOMEHOW, IT LOOKS LIKE CY HENDERSON IS STILL IN THIS MATCH!!! CY WAS ABLE TO KICK OUT JUST BEFORE THREE, KEEPING THIS MATCH ALIVE! That was extremely close, but this one is not over just yet!
Stew-O: Joso slowly pushes himself back up, and while he’s not too pleased that this one isn’t over, he knows that he can’t afford to let this match slip out of his grasp! Joso pulls Cy up to his knees, before beginning to throw forearm after forearm at him! Joso looking to tear away at Cy Henderson in order to keep him down, and from the looks of it, it just might be working! Joso continues to throw forearms until finally he decides he is ready to put Cy away, AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE HAS AN IDEA ON HIS MIND FOR JUST THAT! JOSO PULLS CY IN, SETTING UP FOR HEAVEN’S GATE!
Jake Mercer: NO! CY RUNS TOWARDS THE ROPES, CAUSING BOTH MEN TO TUMBLE THROUGH THE ROPES AND FALL OUT TO RINGSIDE! THAT WAS A ROUGH LANDING, BUT CY KNEW THAT IT WAS EITHER THAT OR BE DROPPED HEAD FIRST ONTO THE MAT, AND CLEARLY HE PREFERRED THIS! BOTH MEN ARE DOWN ON THE RINGSIDE FLOOR, BUT AT THE SAME TIME, THANKS TO CY’S ACTIONS THIS MATCH STILL ISN’T OVER! Both men are slowly finding their way back to their feet though, who will get the upper hand!?
Flannery McCoy: Joso tries to hit Cy with a right hand- but Cy catches his arm before hitting him with an uppercut! Joso stumbles back, and Cy grabs him before slamming him face first onto the apron! Cy now pulling Joso in- AND CY LIFTS JOSO UP FOR A POWERBOMB, BUT JOSO IS ABLE TO GRAB ONTO THE ROPES AND PULL HIMSELF UP ONTO THE APRON INSTEAD! JOSO NOW RUNNING IN BEFORE DELIVERING A SLIDING KNEE, CAUSING CY TO STUMBLE BACKWARDS! Joso now backing up, AND NOW HE RUNS IN BEFORE DIVING OFF OF THE APRON WITH A- NO, WAIT A SECOND!
Stew-O: CY HENDERSON JUST CAUGHT JOSO AND PLANTED HIM ON THE RINGSIDE FLOOR WITH A SPINEBUSTER! JOSO GOES DOWN THANKS TO CY HENDERSON, AND RIGHT NOW THE KING OF ELITE IS IN A LOT OF TROUBLE! CY SENDS JOSO BACK INTO THE RING BEFORE FOLLOWING BEHIND, AND NOW CY BEGINS RUNNING THE ROPES, KNOWING THAT JOSO HAS NO IDEA WHERE HE IS! JOSO STUMBLES BACK TO HIS FEET, AND THIS MIGHT JUST BE THE BEST OPPORTUNITY THAT CY IS GOING TO GET! CY BOUNCES OFF OF THE ROPES, BEFORE CHARGING AT JOSO, LOOKING TO END THIS MATCH WITH CALAMITY-
Jake Mercer: SUPERKICK!! JOSO JUST CAUGHT CY HENDERSON WITH A SUPERKICK, AND NOW HE POWERS CY UP INTO A POWERBOMB CARRY BEFORE RUSHING INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING! BUCKLE BOMB BY JOSO!!!! THE BUCKLE BOMB CONNECTS, AND BOTH MEN FALL TO THE MAT! Clearly that move exhausted whatever Joso had left, meanwhile Cy is hurting from that buckle bomb he just received! Will Joso be able to capitalize off of what he just did to Cy? He’s not much better off right now, he might have just missed out on his best chance at winning this match!
Flannery McCoy: Joso slowly uses the ropes to pull himself back up, and he goes after Cy before- WAIT A SECOND! CY JUST PULLED JOSO INTO AN INSIDE CRADLE, LOOKING TO POTENTIALLY STEAL THE VICTORY FROM THE KING OF ELITE HOLDER!!!
ONE!
TWO!!
Flannery McCoy: JOSO KICKS OUT, BUT THIS CAUSES HIM TO QUICKLY RUSH TO HIS FEET AS HE WAS CLEARLY CAUGHT OFF GUARD! CY GETS BACK UP AS WELL, AND HE IMMEDIATELY LOOKS FOR THE CYCLONE LARIAT- BUT JOSO DUCKS UNDER IT BEFORE DELIVERING ANOTHER PELE KICK! JOSO GETS BACK TO HIS FEET- BUT BY THE TIME HE’S ABLE TO TRY AND CAPITALIZE, CY RESPONDS WITH A BIG BOOT!
Stew-O: Joso stumbles back, and Henderson grabs him before lifting him up with a powerbomb carry! Cy charges towards the corner of the ring- AND IT LOOKS LIKE CY WAS LOOKING FOR A BUCKLE BOMB OF HIS OWN, BUT JOSO IS ABLE TO JUMP OVER AND PULL CY DOWN INTO ANOTHER SUNSET FLIP!
ON-
Stew-O: THE REF WENT TO COUNT, BUT JOSO DOESN’T HOLD CY IN THE COVER! INSTEAD HE IS ABLE TO RETURN TO HIS FEET AND SET CY UP, BEFORE CONNECTING WITH CRIMSON PEAK!!!! CRIMSON PEAK CONNECTS ON CY HENDERSON, AND THAT MIGHT JUST BE IT FOR HENDERSON!!! JOSO TURNS HIM OVER FOR THE COVER!!!!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!
Jake Mercer: CY KICKS OUT JUST BEFORE THREE, KEEPING THE MATCH ALIVE ONCE AGAIN! JOSO CAN’T BELIEVE IT, BUT THIS IS CY HENDERSON WE’RE TALKING ABOUT!!!! IT WAS NEVER GONNA BE EASY TAKING HI OUT OF THIS ONE, AND JOSO IS BEING FORCED TO LEARN THAT THE HARD WAY RIGHT NOW! Joso slowly pushes himself back up, and I’m just saying guys… If he can’t put down Cy right now, are you sure he should be picking fights with my Kaiser???
Flannery McCoy: Shut up, Jake. Joso is a talented Elitist, and in case you forgot, this match isn’t over yet. This still can go either way, and right now Joso hasn’t given up as he gets on top of Cy and begins to deliver some elbows, seemingly returning the favor for what Cy did earlier in this match! Joso gets back to his feet before dragging Cy back up, AND I THINK HE IS TRYING TO GET CY UP FOR THE GRATEFUL DEATH, ONE OF THE FINISHING MOVES HE HAS YET TO ATTEMPT TONIGHT! IS JOSO GOING TO DO IT, WILL HE PUT CY AWAY WITH THIS!?
Stew-O: NO! CY IS ABLE TO PULL HIMSELF DOWN BEFORE BACKPEDALING INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING! SOMEHOW CY WAS ABLE TO SAVE HIMSELF, AND NOW JOSO TURNS AROUND AND CHARGES IN- BUT CY CONNECTS WITH AN ELBOW TO SEND JOSO BACK! JOSO QUICKLY COLLECTS HIMSELF THOUGH, BEFORE CHARGING IN- RIGHT INTO A FLAPJACK, SENDING JOSO FACE FIRST ONTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! CY USING HIS EXPERIENCE TO HIS ADVANTAGE THERE AS JOSO MAY HAVE GOTTEN AHEAD OF HIMSELF JUST NOW! At this point, I think there’s no telling who will actually win this one!
Jake Mercer: Cy walks towards Joso, and he hits Joso with a right hand that causes Joso to nearly drop down to a knee! Joso is able to catch himself though, AND HE HITS CY WITH A FOREARM IN RETURN! CY STUMBLES A BIT, BUT HE RESPONDS WITH A RIGHT HAND! These two men are going back and forth, AND NOW JOSO CATCHES CY WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP! I don’t think Cy expected that one, AND THIS ALLOWS JOSO TO LAND A FOREARM! ANOTHER ONE! A THIRD NOW AS CY IS BACKED UP INTO THE ROPES! JOSO NOW GRABBING CY BY THE ARMS, AND HE SENDS HIM INTO THE OPPOSITE PAIR OF ROPES WITH AN IRISH WHIP!
Flannery McCoy: BUT CY REBOUNDS OFF THE ROPES AND CONNECTS WITH A SHOULDER TACKLE!!! JOSO GOES DOWN, AND AS SOON AS HE GETS BACK UP HE’S TAKEN DOWN WITH A SECOND ONE! CY HENDERSON WAITS AS JOSO STUMBLES BACK TO HIS FEET, AND CY DELIVERS AN EXPLODER SUPLEX INTO THE TURNBUCKLES!! CY HENDERSON IS BACK IN CONTROL, AND WHILE THE FANS ONCE AGAIN BEGIN TO BOO, CY HAS A SMIRK ON HIS FACE KNOWING THAT THINGS ARE GOING TO PLAN! Cy waits as Joso pulls himself up, BEFORE RUNNING IN AND DELIVERING A FOREARM, WHICH IS FOLLOWED BY A BIEL THROW!
Stew-O: Joso pushes himself back up- AND CY JUST ATTEMPTED THE CYCLONE LARIAT, BUT JOSO WAS ABLE TO DUCK UNDER THAT BEFORE GRABBING CY FROM BEHIND AND DELIVERING A SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX!!! JOSO HOLDS ONTO CY THOUGH, AND HE PUSHES HIMSELF BACK TO HIS FEET BEFORE LOOKING FOR INCOMING SILENCE FOR A SECOND TIME- WHICH CY IS ABLE TO PREVENT AS HE STANDS HIS GROUND, USING THE SIZE DIFFERENCE TO HIS ADVANTAGE BEFORE DROPPING AN ELBOW ON TOP OF JOSO’S HEAD! Cy is hurting from that dragon suplex, but he just stopped things from getting worse!
Jake Mercer: Cy Henderson now grabbing Joso, AND HE PULLS HIM IN BEFORE BEGINNING TO SET UP FOR THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL, BUT JOSO IS ABLE TO FREE HIMSELF BEFORE BEGINNING TO PUNCH AWAY AT CY’S RIBS!!! JOSO AND CY REFUSE TO LET EACH OTHER CONNECT WITH THESE MAJOR MOVES THIS LATE INTO THE MATCH, AS JOSO FINALLY IS FREED FROM CY’S GRASP! CY STUMBLES BACKWARDS, AND JOSO DELIVERS A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION, DROPPING CY TO A KNEE! JOSO QUICKLY TURNS AND BEGINS RUNNING THE ROPES, BEFORE LOOKING FOR A CURB STOMP ON CY- WAIT, NO! IT DOESN’T CONNECT!
Flannery McCoy: CY HENDERSON IS ABLE TO GRAB JOSO FROM BEHIND BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!!! CY DOESN’T STOP AT ONE, EITHER! HE HOLDS ONTO JOSO WHILE MAKING HIS WAY BACK TO HIS FEET, AND HE DELIVERS A SECOND GERMAN SUPLEX!!!! CY STILL DOESN’T LET GO OF JOSO, INSTEAD RETURNING TO HIS FEET ONCE MORE AS HE INTENDS TO TAKE EVERYTHING OUT OF THE KING OF ELITE RIGHT NOW!! CY HENDERSON WITH A THIRD GERMAN SUPLEX, DROPPING JOSO ON HIS HEAD AS HE HAS TO BE OUT! Cy Henderson gets back to his feet, and I think he’s preparing to end this one!
Stew-O: Cy Henderson drags Joso back up before lifting him up onto his shoulders, AND IT LOOKS LIKE CY IS SETTING UP FOR THE RISING TIDE- WAIT A SECOND!!! JOSO IS ABLE TO PULL HIMSELF UP- BEFORE TRANSITIONING INTO A POISONRANA!!!! CY HENDERSON IS DROPPED HEAD FIRST ONTO THE MAT WITH THAT POISONRANA, AND AS CY STUMBLES BACK TO HIS FEET, HE IS CLEARLY DAZED!!! CY HAS NO IDEA WHERE HE IS, AND NOW JOSO TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THIS AS HE RUNS IN WITH A HUGE BICYCLE KICK STRAIGHT TO THE FACE OF CY HENDERSON!!!
Jake Mercer: THAT BOOT CONNECTS RIGHT TO THE FACE OF CY HENDERSON, WHO FALLS BACK INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING!!! Cy drops down and holds his face, and I think that may have been a bit of a nasty connection by Joso! The referee goes to check on Cy as he continues to hold his face, but I don’t think Joso plans to give Cy much time to recover. After all, for Joso this is his chance to pin what could be the next World Heavyweight Champion before he challenges for the title at House of Glass. I don’t like it, but-
(Suddenly, loud boos are heard from the crowd as the referee continues to check on Cy Henderson. Joso returns to his feet, confused by the reaction coming from the crowd until…)
Stew-O: SUPERMAN PUNCH!!!! WHAT THE HELL?????
Jake Mercer: YES!!! MY KAISER IS HERE! I WARNED YOU GUYS THAT PICKING A FIGHT WITH HIM WAS A BAD IDEA, AND NOW JOSO JUST PAID FOR THAT WITH A SUPERMAN PUNCH RIGHT TO THE JAW!!!!
Flannery McCoy: ANDRE WALKER QUICKLY SLIDES OUT OF THE RING BEFORE THE REFEREE COULD NOTICE WHAT HE DID, BUT… WHAT THE HELL!?!? JOSO JUST LANDED A HUGE SHOT TO CY HENDERSON, AND NOW JOSO IS DOWN ON THE MAT HOLDING HIS JAW THANKS TO ANDRE WALKER!
Stew-O: Andre Walker begins to slowly make his way up the ramp, meanwhile I think Cy Henderson just realized what happened! Joso stumbles to his feet, AND CY PUSHES PAST THE REFEREE, CHARGING RIGHT INTO JOSO WITH CALAMITY!!!!! CALAMITY CONNECTS AS JOSO IS TORN IN HALF, AND NOW CY HENDERSON GOES FOR THE COVER AFTER A HUGE INTERFERENCE FROM ANDRE WALKER!!!!!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen… Here is your winner… CCCCCYYYYYYYYYYYY HHHHEEEEENNNNDDEERRRRRRSSSOOONNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Wow! Andre Walker just interfered, costing Joso the match right when he was looking to put this one away! We know these two have issues after Andre interfered in the match between Joso and Drake King, and these two obviously have old history as well. Even so, I can’t believe he just interfered!
Jake Mercer: I can! My Kaiser didn’t appreciate the disrespect from Joso, and now Joso just learned his lesson! Andre didn’t screw Joso over, Joso screwed Joso!
Flannery McCoy: Alright, you’ve said enough. No matter how we look at it, Andre just cost Joso the match and handed the victory to Cy Henderson. Cy picks up momentum ahead of his World Championship match, but not without controversy.
(‘Saint Pablo’ hits, and all of the fans in attendance loudly boo as Cy Henderson rolls off of Joso. Cy slowly pushes himself back to his feet before having his hand raised by the referee. Joso rolls out of the ring in pain, meanwhile Andre Walker remains on the ramp, staring directly at Joso following his actions. Joso holds his ribs as he stares at Andre Walker, and Andre just makes his way to the back while Cy celebrates his victory. From there, Dynasty fades away from ringside.)
(A commercial plays for Five Nights at Freddy’s Into the Pit, featuring Drake Armstrong trying to bribe the Yellow Rabbit with some money so that he doesn’t get killed. It does not work.)
(‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ by Rob Zombie blares out throughout the arena, spurring the fans on their feet as they cheer wildly. Soon, the legendary Minerva comes on out, wearing her usual casual garb of skinny jeans, a black floral lace bodysuit, a jeans jacket and some Doc Martins. Her flowing bright orange hair cascades down past her shoulders. The arena lights flicker and pulse in time with the music, and Minerva briefly acknowledges the fans as she heads down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time EAW Hall of Famer… MIIIIIIIIINEEEEEEEERRRVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Stew-O: Minerva is out here once more after what transpired last week. She and Drake King exchanged some words with Drake, pretty much pleading for her to help him out so that they can all collectively stick it to Andre Walker and win War Games together. Minerva had her own hesitancies, but she and Drake would wind up helping each other out as they got an unexpected surprise.
[REPLAY: Drake King and Minerva are in the ring talking to each other when Selina Reyes, Chiyo Gedo and Damien Kutcher of Voltage, and La Familia of Showdown start to swarm the ring with bad intentions. Soon, they rush into the ring and try to overtake Minerva. Drake is hesitant about helping out, but when he becomes an unwitting victim, he has no choice but to fight back, and, in turn, help Minerva thwart theirattack. The two manage to fend off their assailants, sending them retreating up the ramp as the crowd erupts in cheers.]
Stew-O: That was an intense moment last week, and it seems like Minerva and Drake King might be on the same page—for now at least. But you can never truly know with those two. Their history is long and complicated, and Minerva, especially, isn’t one to easily trust others.
Flannery McCoy: Exactly, Stew. Minerva has been through a lot in her career. She’s seen betrayal, she’s experienced heartbreak, and she’s battled through some of the toughest wars this company has ever seen. So while it’s surprising to see her and Drake on the same side, I have to wonder if there’s still a part of her that’s keeping her guard up.
Jake Mercer: Oh, come on, Flannery! You’re talking about Minerva, the Gypsy Moth, the woman who’s taken down giants! If anyone can handle themselves, it’s her. But you know what they say—keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Maybe that’s exactly what she’s doing with Drake King. Besides, they teamed in War Games before and were able to emerge victorious. I’m sure they can work together one last time to recreate that same bit of magic and ensure they walk out with the win once more.
Flannery McCoy: Sure, but things have changed. Drake King likes being in control and being in this poition where he didn’t have any kind of say in the matter may have rubbed him the wrong way. Not to mention that he’s always been the manipulative type. He could be saving face for now, but who knows? Is he truly willing to work alongside Myles and Minerva, or does he have his own agenda lurking beneath the surface? War Games is unpredictable, and with so many egos and past rivalries in play, anything can happen.
Stew-O: It’s a valid concern, Flannery. Minerva might be strong, but trust has never been her strong suit, especially after everything she’s been through with Drake. But if they want to win War Games, they’ll need to put aside their differences and truly work together, focusing on the bigger picture that is at hand. The stakes are higher than ever, and any misstep could cost them everything.
(Minerva walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, and it’s clear that there are many thoughts swarming within her mind, especially after last week. She receives a microphone upon request, and soon thereafter, ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ fades. The lighting in the arena returns the normal, and that paves the way for her to start speaking.)
Minerva: Last week, I found myself in a position I never thought I’d be in again: fighting side by side with Drake King. Trust me, it’s not something I take lightly. We’ve been through hell together, and we’ve also put each other through hell. But here we are, on the same side once more, staring down the barrel of War Games in a cruel twist of irony from fate itself. Ever since New Eden came to its bitter end, we have done everything we can to separate ourselves from one another, but now here we are. The more things change, the more they remain the same. Now, we are on the cusp of being forced to team together within a month’s time, all because Andre Walker saw this as a way to get back at Drake, and in turn Myles and I have been dragged into this. Of course, there are no issues between myself and my husband as we are more than willing to team with each other and twice on Sundays, but with Drake involved, it does make things a little bit tricky.
(A brief sigh slips from her lips.)
Minerva: We did talk. Drake insisted that he was more than willing to put aside his own feelings for us, whether they are even valid or not to begin with, in order to get the win. He even was able to help me fend off the talent from Showdown and Voltage that tried to get the jump on me. There is a part of me that still has my reservations, but I know Drake better than anyone else. He could’ve slid out like the snake that he is and not bother to do anything, but that wasn’t the case. He actually fought for me. And that’s what makes this situation so complicated. For a moment, I saw a glimpse of the Drake King that I once knew, the one who would go to war alongside me without hesitation. But that doesn’t erase the doubts lingering in the back of my mind. It doesn’t change the fact that trust, when it comes to Drake, is like walking on a tightrope. One misstep… and everything falls apart.
(She paces slightly in the ring, her expression a mixture of determination and uncertainty as she continues.)
Minerva: It’s like standing on the edge of a cliff, knowing that one wrong move could send us all plummeting into the abyss. Drake has always been an enigma, a man who operates in shades of gray. One moment, he’s the ally you can rely on, and the next, he’s the very reason for your downfall. I’ve been burned before, and that’s why I can’t afford to fully lower my guard. Still… in moments like these, sometimes, you just have to keep your enemy close for the betterment of everyone involved, and that is why I am willing to work with him one more time. We fought together before and we have been able to come out of that with our hands raised. We don’t need to be friends in order to get the job done. However, the one glaring omission has been Myles, who wasn’t out there with us last week as in that moment, he wanted nothing to do with Drake. A part of me can’t necessarily fault him for that. That’s what makes this even more tricky because Myles has never been one to mince his words or hide his thoughts. He does not like this situation any more than I do. At the very least though, I guess this match can make up for Territorial Invasion in 2021 and we can all get the win together. A bit too late to repair some old wounds, but if there’s one thing that unites us, it’s the fact that the three of us like to win, no matter what.
Minerva: At any rate, I don’t want to be here by myself. In fact, Drake, I know you’re back there, so how about you come on out?
(The fans look surprised with Minerva directly requesting Drake’s presence. It would only take a brief moment before ‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage blares out. Everyone waits in anticipation alongside Minerva, and soon… he was there. Drake King looks over at the ring where Minerva stood, a little bit taken aback himself, but he realizes this is his best bet yet for them to make this work, so he begins to walk down the ramp and enters the ring. His theme fades and he gets a microphone of his own. He and Minerva look at each other before he speaks up.)
Drake King: Thanks for the charming introduction.
(Minerva was less than impressed with that ice breaker, which he picks up on. He sighs and rolls his eyes.)
Drake King: Alright, fine. You hate me, I hate you and Myles, and that is never going to change. However, you don’t need to worry about walking on some kind of tightrope with me. I told you last week that I was willing to set aside my own feelings in order to win and definitely to stick it to Andre who thinks he can drag me down by doing this. I meant every word I said to you. Regardless of how repulsive I think you guys are, I need you and you need me, so if Myles is willing to also put that pride to the side then they can all get this thing over with sooner than later.
Minerva: And you know what? I agree. We absolutely do need each other in this instance. But can we trust you for this? Especially when you’ve made it clear that you want to go after Myles and that championship?
Crowd: :lupe:
Drake King: Wait, what? What sort of relevance does that have? Yeah, I may want to be champion again, but that’s in the future. Right now, I’m focused on the present, and presently, I want to be able to walk out of Territorial Invasion with a win. I know we’ve both done things we’re not proud of. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that sometimes, you have to swallow your pride and do what needs to be done.
(He takes a step closer, his voice firm.)
Drake King: I’m not asking for your trust, Minerva. I’m asking for your cooperation. We don’t have to like each other, and we don’t have to pretend that everything’s okay. But if we want to win, we need to be on the same page. I’m willing to put the past behind us if you are.
(The crowd reacts with a mix of cheers and murmurs, the weight of Drake’s words sinking in.)
Minerva: Cooperation? That’s an interesting choice of words… and you suggesting I have done some things to you.
Drake King: Well, you have—
Minerva: So, you were just as much of a victim as myself and Myles were to you?
Drake: I–
(Drake pauses, gritting his teeth.)
Drake King: … Look, going back and forth isn’t going to get us anywhere. I’m willing to work with you, and that’s it. Simple. Are you willing to do the same thing for me?
(Minerva pauses in her own right for a moment before she nods her head.)
Minerva: I don’t expect miracles, Drake. I don’t expect us to suddenly become best friends. But I do expect you to keep your word. You’ve seen what happens when trust is broken, and I won’t hesitate to remind you of that if you falter.
Drake King: Okay, fine, whatever. I just hope your husband got the same kind of message—
(Suddenly, ‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi comes on, and with that, the EAW World Heavyweight Champion himself steps out and marches down to the ring. He enters and now, all three former members of New Eden were together again. His theme fades, and a loud, mixed reaction pours from the fans. Drake turns his attention over to Myles. However, Myles walks past him to give Minerva a kiss. She smiles slightly, but looks over his shoulder to see Drake not at all happy with Myles completely low-balling him. He scoffs.)
Drake King: Nice of you to show up—
(But before he can finish what he was saying, Myles whips around, glaring at him.)
Myles: Zip it, jackass. One smart comment from you and ’ll make sure you don’t even make it to War Games.
Crow: :damn: !!!
(The tension in the ring skyrockets as Myles steps closer to Drake, his eyes filled with anger and distrust. Minerva quickly steps between them, her arms outstretched to keep the two men from going at each other.)
Minerva: Enough! This isn’t the time for us to be tearing each other apart. We need to focus.
(Myles doesn’t take his eyes off Drake, his jaw clenched, but he nods slightly, acknowledging Minerva’s words.)
Myles: I’m here for one reason, and one reason only — to win. I don’t like this, and I sure as hell don’t trust you, Drake. You see, being a world champion comes with a lot of responsibilities…
(He makes sure to look at Drake while holding the championship as he says that.)
Myles: …A lot of targets and enemies waiting to strike you down where you stand. I’ve had to handle a lot of business lately but I know what has been going on in regards to me and Siobhan being forced into this predicament and I’m not happy that we have to team up with a narcissistic backstabbing asshole who started this season trying to gun for my title, but these are the hands I’ve been dealt.
Drake King: Oh, so now you’re the martyr, huh? Playing the victim while you hold that shiny gold around your waist. You think I’m thrilled about this either? But here we are. I don’t want to be teaming with you, but at least I’m being open-minded in this situation and not moaning and whining about it.
Myles: Moaning and whining? That’s what you wish to call this? You know what, perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised because you always want to see this world through your lenses and no one else’s. If you think I’m being irrational, then need I remind you why that is the case?
Drake King: Spare me. Seriously. Minerva and I have mutually agreed the help each other out, so why can’t you do the same?
Myles: Sorry I’m not giddy about the prospect of having to deal with a snake on my back yet again, Drake. However, you know me and how I operate. I am not going to be fake and smile with your dumb ass after everything.
Drake King: Okay, but I’m not asking for you to do that?? I’m just asking you to stop being a sensitive baby and get it together so that we can win.
Myles: And I’m supposed to cooperate with you when you’re trying to insult me!?
Drake King: You started it!
Myles: You know what? What even is the point anymore? How about I just go ahead and —
Minerva: STOP!!
Crowd: :lupe: !!!
(Drake and Myles immediately cease their quarreling once Minerva speaks up. They both turn their heads towards her.)
Minerva: Just… stop. Please. No more arguing. No more bickering. It’s pointless at this rate. This is not the time or place for your personal grudges. We’ve got bigger problems to deal with, and if you two can’t put aside your differences for even a moment, we’re going to end up losing. I don’t about you two, but I don’t want that to be the case, especially when there is a lot for us to focus on. I have scores I want to settle in this match and I refuse to be anyone’s stepping stone, not to mention we don’t need another loss under the New Eden umbrella and re-open even more old wounds.
(Both men start to calm down as Minerva continues.)
Minerva: Milli may have been able to beat me, but now she’s playing second fiddle to someone who doesn’t even know what it’s like to be a world champion, and that’s something I would never allow to happen. Not to mention that when this is all said and done, Veena is going to be coming right after her after she’s done big leaguing her in War Games. Then there’s Bronson with yet another one of his sympathy fest stories that he needs to complete because this guy thrives on being a lore merchant. He single handedly failed this very same brand after being propped up as the heart of Dynasty and left it into the hands of some bigots and thinks that defeating Dynasty in a War Games avenges him, as if we’re supposed to be representing bigotry or intolerance? It says a lot that I would rather be known as New Eden than Team Dynasty. Not to mention nobody even knows what Voltage has up their sleeve yet but there are a lot of potential names looking to make a statement and it won’t be at our expense. None of that is happening on my watch and it damn sure better not be something either of you guys are fine with either. I’m not going to let any of these Elitists try and get the better of me or even us, but if you guys are fine with them trampling over you, then be my guests.
(Drake and Myles look at each other, taking her words into serious consideration. After a moment, Myles calms down.)
Myles: … You’re right. Absolutely. In fact, this probably is what they want. They want us to be fractured so they can take advantage of it and get a big win at our expense. I’m not the type for that, though. I won’t allow for Showdown or Voltage to get the better of me, especially when this is my chance to go back-to-back in War Games and get another win on my belt.
(Myles then turns to Drake, getting close to him.)
Myles: So with that, let’s lay down some ground rules. Number one: I’m the champion. You’re not. Therefore, you listen to me. I’ll be the leader for our team and call the shots for us, and you aren’t going to argue against that.
Drake King: Wait, what?
Myles: I get the final say regardless of how you feel. Besides, you used to always make me feel lesser or like a third wheel and I’d have to be the one to answer, but those days are over. You will have to live with being a third wheel for once in your life, and you have no choice to accept that. After all, it’s for the betterment of our team.
(Drake frowns. However, Myles isn’t willing to back down. Drake is apprehensive about it, but ultimately, he gives in, seeing he has no choice.)
Drake King: Fine. Fine. You’re the captain. I won’t argue against that.
(He sticks his hand out, which catches Myles off guard a bit. He looks at it for a moment, but he looks back up at Drake.)
Myles: Just be ready when I make the call.
(Myles backs away, leaving Drake hanging. He gently takes hold of Minerva’s hand and leaves the ring with her as ‘Enemy Strike’ hits. Drake continues to stand there, looking down at his own hand.)
Stew-O: Wow. Well, New Eden is back, even if it is going to be short-lived. Myles set down the law that Drake must follow.
Flannery McCoy: Drake didn’t look too pleased, but it is what it is. If he wants to win, then he has to make sure he doesn’t step out of line and cause any further distrust.
Jake Mercer: Hey, if it works, it works, right? As long as Dynasty dominates Territorial Invasion again, I ain’t complaining!
(Myles and Minerva walk together up the ramp. Minerva looks back over her shoulder to briefly look back at Drake who was still in the ring before she and her husband left. The final shot shows Drake King putting down that hand and sighing.)
Drake King: (off-mic) It’s just one match… one match…
(With that, Friday Night Dynasty ends and fades to black.)
