(EAW intro plays.)
(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. Following that, we get a montage of what happened last week’s season premiere: Drake King, Rex McAllister, Cy Henderson, and Joso all make a case for being Myles next challenger, but they all fight, paving the way for Drake Armstrong to attack the champion and make his statement known through that. Vincent Mondrian defeats AJ Redding. BRAE talks about his New Breed Championship win before Vincent comes out and makes it known he wants to challenge him for the title. Mattias Burke defeats Clayton Golde. Usagi Senshi is interviewed and she looks forward to making new waves in a new territory, before Daniella Atlas approaches and things escalate between the two. Their match is next, which Daniella is able to win. Afterwards, Daniella comes across Holly Arrow, and later on, Mia Santoro, exchanging words with them. Holly is later able to defeat Mia in single action. Hans Grayson comes out to talk about what winning the Interwire Championship meant for him and what his ambitions are with being the title holder, but Shinzo Sasaki comes out and lets it be known that he wants next. He would then attack the champion, laying him out in the ring. Myles defeats Kirk Redwood. Richard Grant and Kensingten Calhoun-Astor are canoodling and happy as can be now that they are in control of Dynasty. However, Minerva comes into their office, and soon afterwards, so does Raven Roberts. There’s obvious tension between the two and some unfinished business. In the main event, the match goes to a no contest as Rex, Cy, Joso and Drake all fight each other once more, unable to stifle their budding tensions with one another.)
(Friday Night Dynasty comes live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia! It’s a sold out show as always and the fans are eager, cheering loudly as pyro fires off from the stage. There are several shots of the EAW faithful being shown before the cameras cut to Stew-O, Jake Mercer, and Flannery McCoy.)
Stew-O: The new season is officially in gear! We’re off the heels of the season premiere of Dynasty, and now, as we officially make our way towards Reckless Wiring, things are going to be heating up! Welcome everyone to Friday Night Dynasty! I am Stew-O, and as always, I am joined by Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy.
Jake Mercer: Things are gonna be epic, I can already tell! We are getting closer to Reckless Wiring, and there have already been some interesting developments along the way. I’m sure there will be more as tonight, we got a lot of fallout to touch upon, like this whole situation with Cy Henderson, Rex McAllister, Drake King and Joso!
Flannery McCoy: Or how about with Minerva and Raven Roberts, who both still have some lingering tension with one another? Shinzo Sasaki and Hans Grayson? BRAE and Vincent Mondrian? There are so many moving puzzle pieces at play here after everything that occurred last week, so I’m sure it’ll be interesting to see what happens from here on out.
Stew-O: Absolutely. We also seem to have the likes of Usagi Senshi, Holly Arrow, Daniella Atlas and Mia Santoro who are looking to etch themselves at the top of the women’s division here. No doubt that things will heat up, but for now, let’s kick things off right here and right now on Friday Night Dynasty!
(‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi hits. After a few seconds of build, Myles comes out, unearthing a loud reaction from the fans in attendance. He walks with purpose towards the ring, as after everything that occurred last week, Myles isn’t in the camp of wasting any time.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing at this time the EAW World Heavyweight Champion, MYYYYYYYYYYLLLLEEEEEEEEES!
Stew-O: The champion is here, and he doesn’t look all that pleased considering that last week on Dynasty, and unsuspecting Elitist would have their sights set on him and made it a case to put a target on Myles’ back!
(We then cut to a replay as Myles makes he way to the ring: In the opening segment, chaos ensues as Cy Henderson, Rex McAllister, Drake King and Joso all brawl with each other while Myles looks on. It looks as though the would-be challengers were concerned with one another, and their respective fights spilled to the outside. However, out of nowhere, Drake Armstrong comes in and lays Myles out. He raises the EAW World Heavyweight Championship up into the air, making his intentions clear that he wants to be the first in line.)
(The replay ends, and by then, Myles has entered the ring. He’s handed a microphone and the champion comes to stand in the middle, looking around.)
Jake Mercer: Drake Armstrong did not come to play last Friday night. While everyone was squabbling with one another, The Future took it upon himself to make sure he secured a future for himself, and that includes the EAW World Heavyweight Champioship!
Flannery McCoy: That he did, but knowing Myles, such actions aren’t going to go without consequences. It’s kind of hard to read the expression of the champion’s face to get how he’s feeling, but if I had to guess, I figure he’s going to make Drake know right away that there’s no turning back now. He wanted a shot? He’s going to get and then some.
(‘Enemy Strike’ fades, and that’s when Myles begins to speak up.)
Myles: Being on top, it’s only inevitable that so many people will try to come after me. The bigger the prize, the bigger the target, and last week showed just how many hungry people there were ready to step up to the plate and challenge. Three former world champions, all of whom who are in the hall of fame, and a King of Elite who has the potential to be a cornerstone here in EAW, were practically begging like some desperate fan girls for my attention, and you know what? They each had their own little interesting cases being made. The fighting was funny, but I didn’t lose sight that right there and then, there were four men who were hungry as can be, looking to come for this championship, with some some fresh and familiar competition, I wouldn’t be bored one bit. All of them are accomplished in their own right, and while I may have my own feelings about a few of them, there’s no denying that having a war with any of those men would’ve been good not just for this title, but for me as well. Perhaps someone who is more than worthy of being my successor is within that crop. Perhaps even my equal. However, what I didn’t expect was for someone to make their presence known when I least expected it.
Myles: Now, I am not naive. Been doing this for years. Someone, someway along the way is always going to find a way to jump ahead of the line so that they can be first. That’s just the nature of this business. I get it. Hell, I myself have done so in the past. Every one of us has our own littl egos we wish to placate, and while some may do a better job than others at tempering it, the reality is that we all desire to be the best. The strongest, the most feared, the most revered. It’s why we do this. There’s no other reason. And so, for some of us, we decide to take our chances and make our intentions clear from early on. We want to be proactive in accomplishing our goals. The sooner we make that sort of statement, the better things will be for us. I have no issues with people calling their shots. Ambition should never be stifled. However, one musn’t allow for their own egos to blind them to a point where they end up entering a war, because if you dive in headfist without truly grasping the situation at hand, then you can get yourself into a lot of trouble – and quite frankly, that is exactly what Drake Armstrong has done.
(The fans boo upon hearing his name. Myles takes a moment, letting the fans express themselves before he carries on.)
Myles: See, when I’m targeted, I don’t stay down. I come back with a vengeance. No one is ever going to get me to cower here in this promotion, regardless of who they are, and Drake is no exception. At the very least, he’s much better than the other one, but if there’s one negative thing about him, it’s that he’s foolhardy. Thinking you can lay me down and act as if you did something of note because of it? It’s hilarious. In fact, I’d even go on to say that it’s a little bit sad. Clearly, Drake doesn’t seem to truly understand what he is getting himself into now that he’s targeted me. Anyone can tell him that the last person he wants to try and make an example out of is me. I don’t play nice like that. I am Peak, and when someone tries to position themselves in that manner over me, I’m always going to take note of it. He wants my title, but with how much this championship means to me, I’m not going to let it be pried out of my hands easily. It’s a foreign concept for a spoiled man like him he’s grown up with a silver spoon in his mouth after all this time, but the reality is that Drake Armstrong isn’t going to achieve the win of the century and beat me. He is going to go down, and it is going to be a loss that will stick with him throughout his time here in EAW. Still, I’m sure Drake doesn’t give a damn to hear any of that. He’s made his intentions with me clear last week. He wants next, and so, who am I to ever say no to a fight?
(That’s when Myles turns towards the stage.)
Myles: So, Drake, if you aren’t going to cheaply attack me from the back, how about you get out here and we can talk about it one-on-one?
Stew-O: Oh, well there we go! Myles is calling Drake Armstrong out directly!
Jake Mercer: And the fans are hyped! Myles is standing on business as the kids would say!
Flannery McCoy: As the kids would say? Oh, come on, you don’t need to make yourself sound that old.
Jake Mercer: Well, I’m approaching Unc status now, Flann, but hey – at least I get to say that I’m alive in a generation that includes Myles and the Future himself, Drake Armstrong!
(‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki hits, and the fans let out a massive pour of boos. Drake Armstrong walks out in a haughty manner, smirking as he has his own microphone in hand. The dressed down young man looks in the ring, seeing the champion who invites him to come in. Drake would make his way towards him.)
Stew-O: And here comes the man who left behind one hell of a statement last week. Now, he’s going to have to answer for it, but by the looks of things, he doesn’t seem to be worried too much about any potential consequences.
Jake Mercer: Oh, why should he? That’s the nature of this sport! Sometimes, you gotta call your shot and chase after what you want, even if it may ruffle a few feathers. Still, glory waits for no one, and if you wish to seize it, then you have to get your moment through any and all means possible!
Flannery McCoy: In a way, you’re right. Still, I hope Armstrong knows what he’s getting himself into. He’s been an impressive standout in EAW for the past year, even becoming the Interwire Champion, but now, he’s stepping up to bigger competition, and going after one of the all-time dominant Elitists is a bit of a risk. He could theoretically get the better of Myles, but if he’s able to do that and get what he wants, it sure as hell isn’t going to be an easy feat for him to accomplish.
(Drake is in the ring now, and he looks at Myles. Then a chuckle leaves his lips. His theme fades and he speaks, addressing the champion directly.)
Drake Armstrong: Oh, Myles, Myles, Myles. Really? There’s going to be consequences for my actions? Who are you trying to intimidate? See, you can never rattle someone like me who has always been destined for greatness. Since day one I came off as someone who was bound to become a world champion, and it has always been the end goal for me. I wish to be the absolute best. Of course, that means beating the best along the way, and for the past year on Dynasty, I have been able to truly ascend. My name is a commodity, rich in of itself. However, it would be even richer if I were to claim my second championship within a year, and that means, Myles, that I am going to take that title away from you.
Myles: Ha. You sure are confident, aren’t you?
Drake Armstrong: Absolutely! Why wouldn’t I be? And are you not a man who also believes in your own capabilities? In fact, Myles, correct me if I’m wrong, but when you first came to EAW, weren’t you heralded as some kind of prodigy in your own right? Someone who was bound to be at the top? You had the potential, the drive, and most of all, the hunger to become the best in your own right. So, is there truly any difference between you and I?
Myles: Okay, maybe I should take back the compliment I gave about you being the other Drake. You and him are scarily more alike than you and I.
Drake Armstrong: Is that so? So, you deem me to be some sort of delusional fool, then? Come on, Myles. You’re better than that. However, I suppose there are some key differences between you and I…
(Drake gets closer, eyeing Myles right in the face.)
Drake Armstrong: Because I don’t waste time getting what I want.
(The two men stare at each other, and for a moment, the fans cheer. Myles eyes Drake up and down before speaking up again.)
Myles: That you don’t. However, you aren’t going to be speeding your away across the finish line. Not at my expense, at least.
Drake Armstrong: That’s what you think, but the arrow has been shot already and it’s on your back. I want the EAW World Heavyweight Championship, and you won’t be denying me of it. I definitely don’t want to wait to get my opportunity.
Drake Armstrong: I want to face you at Reckless Wiring.
(Drake sounded serious. The fans react loudly to the challenge being throw directly towards the champion.)
Stew-O: Well, it was only a matter of time, right? Drake Armstrong has officially thrown down the gauntlet! He isn’t backing down, and neither is Myles!
Myles: … I shouldn’t be surprised. However, I’d be a liar if I said that I didn’t have a match between you and I in my head. So, if it’s a match you want, then it’s a match you’re certainly going to be getting. Reckless Wiring, it’s you and me.
(The fans cheer.)
Myles: However, Drake, I meant it when I said earlier that this isn’t going to be easy for you. You may have done well for yourself this far in your career, but now, the real test has just begun. I don’t know if you have the facilities to become a world champion at this time. Not with me at the helm, at least.
Drake Armstrong: So you say now, Myles. However, my glory cannot be denied. I will be a champion, if I have to go through you in order to get to that title, then I will.
Myles: I guess we’ll see then, won’t we?
(Myles raises the title up high as he looks at Drake.)
Myles: Just be ready, because I will be.
(Myles slams the microphone down. Drake doesn’t relent. The two continue to stare at each other as the camera gradually zooms out, showing the champion and challenger in the ring.)
Jake Mercer: AND THERE WE HAVE IT! IT’S ON! OH MAN, THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT!
Flannery McCoys: All roads pointed to this match happening, and it seems like both Elitists are on the same terms! At Reckless Wiring, it’s Myles versus Drake Armstrong for the richest prize in all of wrestlng!
(Friday Night Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A commercial is shown for Reckless Wiring featuring Myles defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Drake Armstrong.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Let Me Hear’ by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas begins blaring throughout the PA speakers as Saori Aizen begins making her way out from the back with a dismissive expression on her face. Her eyes are set solely on the ring as she gets in and poses atop the middle rope.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Tokyo, Japan, weighing in at 120 pounds… SHE IS THE “DEMON CHILD”, SAOOORIII AIIZZZEENNNN!
Stew-O: They often say that the first impression is the best impression and tonight is a tall task for the debuting Saori Aizen, but she certainly seems to be up to it. Another promising talent coming from Japan, she’s made quite the name for herself this week but it’s time to back it up.
Jake Mercer: And back it up she will! There’s no guarantee of what will come against a competitor as talented as Daniella Atlas but she sure does seem to have it figured out… We’re going to have to keep a close eye on this woman’s future.
(‘Vortex’ by Jinjer cues in and Daniella Atlas marches out from the back. She sneers at the booing fans and adjusts her jacket whilst walking down, ignoring their reaction. Daniella hops the apron and crouches there, taking a good look around before entering the ring and getting in her opponent’s face.)
Stephie Love: Her opponent, from Dunkirk, France, weighing in at 170 pounds… “THE BLACK FLAME” DDAANNNIIEELLLA AATTLLLASSSS!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella Atlas has been seeking out that close eye since getting here. She made a name for herself on Showdown but she’s proven her worth with her victory over Usagi Senshi last week!
Jake Mercer: Crafty and powerful, Daniella has no problem doing whatever it takes to snag victory from the jaws of defeat and that’ll be an important point for this match.
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: Right into it we go, Saori and Daniella approach the center of the ring and despite the size difference, Saori isn’t backing down from her at all. Both women look to be remaining cautious and back away, circling the ring. They engage in a collar and elbow tie-up, and Daniella snaps behind her!
Flannery McCoy: But Saori takes the wrist and breaks the grip around her waist, twirling into a wristlock! Daniella winces out, and throws her legs out, kicking inside of the wrist lock grip and breaking it. She twirls under into a headlock and looks for a headlock takedown, but Saori slips free and twists her around into one of her own!
Jake Mercer: Saori has the headlock in tight, and Daniella struggles. However, she hoists her up in the air– but Saori rolls through into a headlock takedown, nope! Daniella rolls through herself, holding onto Saori’s waist and taking them to the ropes. She sends her off, wait a minute…
Stew-O: Not so easy! Saori saw it coming and as she’s sent off, she’s able to control her momentum and twirl, grabbing the wrist and irish whipping Daniella off to the ropes. Saori quickly charges in, dropping to Daniella’s legs to trip her, but Daniella leaps over her body just in time but her left foot gets clipped against Saori’s side and she staggers forward, stumbling to the ropes. All of her momentum completely gone right there…
Jake Mercer: As she tries to readjust, Saori charges in and Daniella with a low bridge! Ropes are pulled but Saori doesn’t fly to the floor, she holds onto the middle rope and crouches on the apron. Daniella slowly rises to her feet and stumbles to the center, thinking that Saori is gone–
Flannery McCoy: She turns around and Saori springboards up into a missile kick that launches Daniella backwards! She staggers to the corner, using it to pull herself up. Saori nods and charges into a leaping shoulder thrust. She takes Daniella’s wrist and throws her to the center. Saori hits off the ropes and leaps into a crossbody– Daniella catches her!
Jake Mercer: Daniella tries a fallaway slam but Saori lands on her feet! Daniella falls onto her back and as she tries to stand back up onto her feet, Saori quickly leaps into a DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE CHEST! Daniella winces out in pain and Saori hooks the legs for the cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTT–
Stew-O: Kick out from Daniella Atlas! Saori pulls her up and blisters her with a chop. She meets her with a forearm after. Saori hits the ropes and Daniella follows right behind her with a bicycle kick! Saori falls to the middle rope, dazed. Daniella yanks the wrists and pulls her to the center of the ring, scooping her up onto her shoulders…
Jake Mercer: An elbow from Saori! She elbows her again! She drops behind Daniella, leaping onto the shoulders, but Daniella holds onto her legs and throws her to her feet! Saori turns and Daniella snaps a NASTY headbutt! Saori is dazed and Daniella snags ahold of the head, hoisting her up in the air for a FALCON ARROW!
Stew-O: The ring shakes from that one! Saori is downed and Daniella hooks the leg, and takes her other one to hook both for the cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOO–
Flannery McCoy: Early kickout from Saori! Daniella holds onto her legs though, and throws them down to force Saori to rise into a seated position! Daniella hits off the ropes quickly with a sliding elbow to the jaw! Saori gets rocked off of that one, surely! She rises to her feet, shaking out her elbow.
Stew-O: Saori is down and Daniella grabs a handful of hair, pulling her up. She throws repeated punches to the ribs and shoves her to the ropes. She throws a big high kick! Saori staggers, and Daniella takes her waist, hoisting her up in the air for a northern lights suplex!
Jake Mercer: NO! SAORI SWINGS HER BODY AROUND IN MID-AIR, SLAMMING DANIELLA INTO THE CANVAS WITH A TORNADO DDT! DANIELLA GETS SPIKED OFF THE CANVAS, HER BODY FALLING AWAY FROM THE ORIGINAL POSITION OF THE DDT!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella takes the ropes, holding her head in pain. She tries to get back up to her feet, but Saori stalks her… SPINNING BACKFIST! DANIELLA FALLS OUT THE MIDDLE ROPE, TOPPLING TO THE GROUND! SHE’S OUT OF IT!
Jake Mercer: But Saori doesn’t chase her out of the ring! Clearly she’s got better ideas in mind?!? Daniella plants her hands on the mat, trying to get up. He stumbles up, staggering against the barricades. Saori hits off the ropes at break speed and as Daniella returns to her senses, trying to force her out– WRECKING BALL DROPKICK SENDS SAORI FLYING INTO THE BARRICADES! OH MY!
Stew-O: That one shook the barricades! Saori drags Daniella up and throws her into the ring! She leaps up the apron and climbs up to the top rope, waiting for Daniella to slowly rise up to her feet… Daniella is painfully clutching the back of her head as Saori soars through the skies into a diving crossbody! LEGS HOOKED!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Flannery McCoy: Kick out from Daniella! But she’s going to need a lot more to get back in this one! Daniella rolls away, struggling. Saori drags her up and takes the head, trying to twist into a neck– Daniella spins out and shoves Saori to the corner! She charges in!
Stew-O: Saori sees Daniella coming and NAILS HER WITH A SPIN KI– DANIELLA DUCKS AND SAORI’S LEG GETS CAUGHT ON DANIELLA’S SHOULDER! DANIELLA CUPS HER HAND UNDERNEATH SAORI’S UNDER LEG AND HOISTS HER UP IN THE AIR FOR A SIT-OUT POWERBOMB IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! COVER!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Jake Mercer: Shoulder up! But Daniella uses her strength, twisting her body from seated position to kneeling position, and holds onto Saori’s waist and deadlifts her up while she’s standing! A SECOND POWERBOMB! THE BACK OF SAORI’S HEAD BOUNCES OFF THE MAT, AND SHE ELEVATES HER UP A THIRD TIME!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella marches with Saori, TOSSING HER WITH A BUCKLE BOMB! THE BACK OF SAORI’S HEAD BOUNCES OFF THE TOP ROPE AND SHE TOPPLES TO THE MAT! SAORI ROLLS OUT TO THE APRON, HOLDING HER HEAD IN PAIN!
Stew-O: Daniella falls to a knee, taking a moment to recuperate and regain energy. Saori is down and out, hardly even moving. Daniella steps out of the ring, and drags her up onto the apron. She knees her in the ribs, taking the waist and gut wrenching her up, no! You don’t think so!
Jake Mercer: Again… Daniella is hesitating after that outburst of energy, but she wants a powerbomb to the floor! She elevates SAORI! HERE IT COMES!
Flannery McCoy: NO! Saori comes back to life at the last second! Punch to the forehead! Another punch! She’s throwing repeated punches with one hand, while covering her head in pain with the other! Daniella is faltering, though! She keeps throwing those punches and slips free!
Stew-O: NASTY KNIFE EDGE CHOP FROM SAORI! It staggers Daniella! Another one! She chops Daniella and she falls backwards, leaning against the middle rope, but as she tries to get back up – Saori traps her body in between the top and middle rope and swings into a rope assisted roundhouse kick!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella falls to her knees, gasping out. Saori takes the head of Daniella and starts peppering her with repeated elbow strikes, stumbling her! She takes the arm of Daniella over her shoulder and tries to lift– Daniella elbows her back!
Jake Mercer: Saori charges in but Daniella cracks her with a knee lift! Saori falls to a crouch against the middle ropes. Daniella breathes heavily, slowly approaching her…
Flannery McCoy: WELL TIMED BODY SHOT FROM SAORI! Daniella doubles over after getting punched in the ribs. Saori grabs Daniella in a front facelock and tries to hook the leg, looking for a fisherman’s– but Daniella is too big and breaks free! She elbows Saori and takes the head, scooping her up!
Stew-O: SUPLEX ON THE APRON?! NO! SAORI SLIPS INSIDE THE RING! She sits onto the middle rope, pulling herself into a pendulum kick! Daniella turns off impact and falls to a knee. Saori steps back in the ring and grabs Daniella, slowly hanging her through the middle ropes. She double underhooks the arms, looking around.
Jake Mercer: Daniella is trying to fight it– but it’s no use! ROPE HUNG BUTTERFLY BACKBREAKER! DANIELLA GETS DROPPED RIGHT OVER THE KNEE OF SAORI! SHE FOLDS TO THE CENTER OF THE RING AND THIS IS A PRIME OPPORTUNITY FOR SAORI AIZEN TO GET THE WIN!
Flannery McCoy: She certainly recognizes it! She drags up Daniella and jams her head into her thighs, double underhooking the arms. Saori nods her head, looking around. SHE FINDS THE STRENGTH TO HOIST HER UP- ‘HYOKINDAMA!’ DOUBLE UNDERHOOK POWERBOMB, PLANTING HER ON THE BACK OF THE HEAD!
Stew-O: SHE BRIDGES THE COVER, PINNING DANIELLA’S SHOULDERS TO THE MAT AS THE REFEREE SLIDES TO THE COUNT!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Referee: TTTTT–
Jake Mercer: A KICK OUT FROM DANIELLA ATLAS! NOT ENOUGH! SAORI SLAPS THE MAT, PISSED! She pulls herself up and looks to the top rope, breathing heavily.
Stew-O: Saori stumbles over Daniella and throws her arms out, already contemplating the end here. She starts to make her way up, climbing the turnbuckles to make her way to the top rope…
Flannery McCoy: But as she gets to the middle rope, Daniella throws a kick to the back of Saori’s leg! She slips, falling into a crouched position on the middle rope! Saori winces out, holding her leg in pain. Daniella starts throwing clubbing blows to the back of Saori’s head!
Stew-O: She tries her best to cover up but she’s getting demolished! Now Daniella takes her by the head and slams it into the top turnbuckle! All while she’s seated on the middle rope, unable to move!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella steps out and takes Saori’s leg, pressing it against the ring post. She starts furiously stomping at it! Saori yells out in agony and as she’s tending at her leg, Daniella lets go! Daniella backs away and the referee tries to get her out of that predicament…
Stew-O: BUT DANIELLA WASTES NO TIME, RUNNING BACK ACROSS THE APRON INTO A LEAPING DROPKICK TO SAORI’S ANKLE AGAINST THE RING POST! SAORI FOLDS OFF THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE, FALLING TO THE BACK OF HER HEAD! SHE CLUTCHES HER ANKLE IN PAIN, CRYING OUT!
Jake Mercer: Saori kicks her leg on the mat, crying out! She clutches her ankle and the referee tends to her. Daniella slides in and grins. She drags up Saori and wraps her arm around the waist, hoisting her up in the air and marching to the center of the ring with a SHINBREAKER! SAORI’S SHIN SMASHES AGAINST THE KNEE OF DANIELLA!
Flannery McCoy: I think Saori’s knee may have twisted off the impact of that! Daniella takes Saori’s legs and intertwines them, dropping back into an indian deathlock! Saori’s eyes nearly bulge out of her head from the impact, and she yells out.
Jake Mercer: Now Daniella is really cranking it in! She plants her hands on the mat and pushes back, digging deep into the leg of Saori. Saori yells out, reaching for the ropes. She’s going to be extremely compromised trying to wrap this match up! We know she has an affinity for going to the top rope!
Stew-O: Daniella took note of that and now she’s going for the legs! Saori slaps the mat, trying to get free. She reaches out, but she can’t get free! Daniella pushes forward now, and Saori is trying to drag herself! Daniella continues to apply pressure!
Jake Mercer: This isn’t look good! Daniella yells into her face, but Saori keeps pulling her body… AND SHE GETS THE BOTTOM ROPE! MIRACULOUSLY, THIS ONE CONTINUES!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella releases the hold, shaking her head. Saori holds onto her legs, groaning. Daniella drags Saori up, but Saori pulls her into the middle rope! She bounces off the rope, holding her throat in pain. Daniella coughs out, hunched over.
Jake Mercer: Saori limps up to her feet and charges behind Daniella! She lifts her for a german supl– no! As Saori bent her knees to lift her up, she crumbles to a seated position! Daniella stumbles away and Saori dives for the legs, trying to get her down…
Stew-O: But Daniella captures Saori’s wrist as she’s grabbing at her legs! She yanks her up to her feet! Daniella maintains wrist control and ducks under Saori, ripcording her out… ‘INAMORATA!’ THE LARIAT TURNS SAORI INSIDE OUT!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella gasps for air, but she drops down and hooks the legs of Saori Aizen! She’s not moving now!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHH–
Jake Mercer: BUT SAORI KICKS OUT! DANIELLA CAN’T BELIEVE IT! THAT WAS AN EXTREMELY CLOSE CALL! DANIELLA SLAPS THE MAT, QUESTIONING THE REFEREE! THIS ONE CONTINUES ON!
Flannery McCoy: There’s a lot of fight in Saori but at what cost?! Daniella quickly drags Saori up, taking her by the hair. She turns her around and pumphandles her! DANIELLA HOISTS SAORI UP FOR THE ‘SOUTH OF H–’ Saori floats over! She stumbles on that bad leg, but she shoves Daniella to the ropes!
Stew-O: Daniella bounces off the ropes chest-first at high speed, unable to control her momentum– REBOUND GERMAN SUPLEX FROM SAORI! DANIELLA GETS ROCKED ONTO THE BACK OF HER HEAD! SAORI WAS ABLE TO GET THE GERMAN THERE BECAUSE OF DANIELLA’S SPEED WORKING AGAINST HER!
Jake Mercer: She clutches the back of her head, trying to get up! Saori slowly rises, groaning. Daniella swings for Saori and she leaps into a hurricanrana! INTO THE MIDDLE ROPE! DANIELLA’S THROAT WHIPLASHES OFF THE ROPES!
Flannery McCoy: Saori’s legs are killing her but she nods her head profusely, willing herself up. She bounces off the ropes, charging off into a TIGER FEINT KICK! CRACKS DANIELLA ACROSS THE MOUTH! SHE STUMBLES BACK, HOLDING HER JAW IN PAIN!
Jake Mercer: Daniella rolls away, checking her lip for blood. Saori stumbles over to the ropes, holding her legs. She slowly pulls herself up to the top rope, unable to simply jump for a springboard, and now Daniella looks up- MISSILE DROPKICK! SAORI HAS NO CHOICE BUT TO GO FOR THE PIN! HER SPEED’S BEEN SLIGHTLY NEGATED!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHH–
Stew-O: Again, Daniella kicks out! Saori rolls away, shaking her head. Daniella rolls over, slowly willing herself up. Saori nods, she remains extremely persistent!
Jake Mercer: She stumbles, though. Daniella falls to her fours, breathing heavily. It’s hard to survive that onslaught and continue on… Saori takes the ropes and pulls herself up, calling for Daniella to rise. Daniella slowly pulls herself up…
Flannery McCoy: SAORI BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES! DANIELLA SWINGS FOR HER! SAORI DUCKS AND DANIELLA COMES OFF THE ROPES HERSELF– ‘THUNDERCLAP NOVA!’ SAORI LURED DANIELLA IN WITH THAT HIGH-IMPACT ELBOW AND IT WORKED! DANIELLA HITS THE MAT LIKE A TON OF BRICKS!
Stew-O: That could be it right there! Saori falls over, holding her knees. She lies on top of Daniella and presses the shoulders down, for the cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEE–
Jake Mercer: DANIELLA ATLAS KICKS OUT! AGAIN! THIS MATCH CONTINUES ON! SAORI SLAPS THE MAT, LOOKING AROUND! BOTH OF THESE WOMEN HAVE ENDURED THEIR FAIR SHARE OF FRUSTRATION!
Stew-O: Saori quickly rises to her feet, nodding. She takes Daniella’s leg and slowly rolls her to her stomach. She steps over the leg, looking to drop into a STF, no! Daniella takes note and rolls back over, furiously kicking Saori back! The impact sends her flying!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella limps up, holding the leg. Saori rises and she charges into a chop block– Daniella turns in time and THROWS A KNEE LIFT! SAORI ALMOST GETS KNOCKED ALL THE WAY OUT! Daniella pulls her up, nodding! She takes her and throws her to the apron!
Jake Mercer: Now she has her over on the apron, and Daniella slowly pulls Saori through the middle rope… She drapes her over the middle rope, nodding. Daniella drops into a DRAPING DDT! SAORI’S HEAD SPIKES INTO THE CANVAS! SHE’S NOT MOVING NOW!
Flannery McCoy: Both of these women are certainly starting to feel the after effects of an arduous match. Saori is still down and Daniella is trying to recover. As Daniella looks back, Saori slightly rolls away. And I think Daniella just reconsidered going for a pin right there.
Stew-O: Daniella slowly rises, taking Saori up by the hair. She knees her in the ribs, and takes the waist, starting to gutwrench her… But Saori drops to a knee, forcing Daniella to reconsider the lift!
Jake Mercer: Once again she is trying to lift her but Saori is causing trouble! Daniella tries one more time, but Saori slaps the hands free and rams Daniella into the turnbuckles! Shoulder thrust! Another! Daniella tries to get free, but Saori cracks her with a gamengiri!
Flannery McCoy: The shin lands across the side of Daniella’s head, that thud ringing throughout the building! That could’ve knocked Daniella out but I think she’s rocked… Saori pulls the ropes and holds onto Daniella’s legs, using all she can to force her up to the top rope!
Jake Mercer: Saori slowly climbs up and starts punching the top of Daniella’s head! Daniella scoots back up top, trying to get free. Saori instead forces her up to her feet and looks around! She places her arm over her shoulder and looks back, WAIT A MINUTE!
Stew-O: Daniella is hardly in it! SAORI NODS! SHE WANTS THE ‘HEAVENLY PACT’, AVALANCHE SPANISH FL– NO! DANIELLA SWATS SAORI’S ARM DOWN! SAORI STRUGGLES TO HOLD HER BALANCE! DANIELA DROPS BEHIND HER AND LARIATS SAORI’S ANKLE, FORCING HER TO FALL OFF THE TOP ROPE AND GO FACE FIRST ONTO THE TURNBUCKLES!
Flannery McCoy: OW! SAORI’S FACE BOUNCES OFF! But before she can hit the floor, Daniella catches the arms, their backs pressing together. Daniella hoists Saori away from the turnbuckles and marches to the center of the ring… She tosses her up in the air and catches her–
Jake Mercer: WITH A SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! ‘ANIMUS’ CONNECTS! SHE PRESSES THE SHOULDERS TO THE MAT AND HOOKS THE LEGS, NODDING!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE–
Flannery McCoy: SAORI KICKS OUT! AT THE VERY LAST SECOND! THAT WAS EXTREMELY CLOSE! BUT THIS ONE IS STILL GOING, BELIEVE IT OR NOT!
Stew-O: But I don’t think she has much left in her! Daniella wobbles up, groaning. She takes Saori up to her feet and throws hellacious elbows to the chest! Saori falls to the ropes, dazed. Daniella takes her and sends her off– Saori is holding onto the ropes for dear lie!
Jake Mercer: Daniella clubs the back! She clubs the back again! But Saori won’t let go of the ropes! Daniella yanks Saori– but Saori cracks her with a palm strike! Daniella wobbles, and Saori floats into a step-up enzuigiri! Daniella falls to a knee, gasping out in pain.
Flannery McCoy: Saori stumbles up, holding at her leg… AND DANIELLA LEAPS INTO A CHOP BLOCK! SAORI GOES DOWN, HOLDING HER LEG IN AGONY! Daniella wastes no time, dragging her up!
Stew-O: I think that this is it right here! Saori was able to kick out of the Animus but her legs are in pain! Daniella cradles her and hoists her up in the air! ‘SOUTH OF HEAVEN!” SAORI GETS SPIKED ON THE CANVAS! DANIELLA FOLDS HER OVER AND HOOKS THE LEGS!
Referee: OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, DANNNIEELLLLLAAAAA! ATTTLLLASSSSSSSSS!
(Daniella rolls away from Saori, breathing heavily after a highly competitive opener. Saori is laid out on the canvas, not moving. The referee tends to her then goes over to help Daniella up. She takes her wrist and raises it up high. Daniella smirks, pleased with another victory.)
Jake Mercer: Mark that as another win in the win column for Daniella Atlas! A valiant effort from Saori Aizen and certainly a strong performance, but Daniella is on a roll and perhaps no one will be getting in the way of that anytime soon…
Flannery McCoy: It does not seem so! Daniella took Saori’s best and dished out some of her own. She’s definite– WAIT! WOAH! WHAT THE HELL?!
Stew-O: DANIELLA HAS TURNED AROUND AND STARTED STOMPING AT SAORI’S LEG SOME MORE! WHAT IS THAT FOR?! YOU ALREADY WON THE MATCH!
(The fans begin furiously booing as Daniella continuously stomps the knee of Saori. She drops to her knees and starts throwing bombs down on Saori who is trying her hardest to cover up, to no avail. The referee tries to stop her, but Daniella shoves her back and drags Saori up by the legs. She rolls her over, hooking her up into the ‘Hermès Law’!)
Jake Mercer: HERMES LAW IS LOCKED IN! THE INVERTED CLOVERLEAF! SHE’S HOLDING HER UPSIDE DOWN! SAORI IS YELLING OUT IN PAIN BUT SHE REFUSES TO TAP!
Flannery McCoy: It doesn’t matter! The referees are trying to get her off but it’s no use–
(The crowd is taken aback, but begins cheering when Daniella looks up to a SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK FROM USAGI SENSHI! She releases the hold, falling back!)
Stew-O: USAGI SENSHI IS HERE! SHE CERTAINLY CAN’T BE HAPPY ABOUT HOW LAST WEEK WENT DOWN, AND SURPRISINGLY SHE’S COME TO THE SAVE! DANIELLA ROLLS AWAY WHILE USAGI IS BEATING DOWN ON HER WITH CLUBBING BLOWS!
Jake Mercer: I think Daniella is trying to get out of the ring but Usagi won’t let her! She’s chasing after her, forcing her up in the corner and beating down on her! There was a controversial end to their match last week and she’s looking to follow up on that!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella is getting pummeled! No way aroun– OH! DANIELLA SHOVES USAGI BACK!
Jake Mercer: But Usagi comes barreling right in! ‘INAMORATA!’ THE CHARGING LARIAT CONNECTS! DANIELLA KNOCKS USAGI OUT! SHE’S DOWN, AND NOW DANIELLA IS BEATING DOWN ON USAGI! ALL HELL HAS BROKEN LOOSE, AND THE BLACK FLAME HAS LAID OUT TWO WOMEN IN A ROW!
Stew-O: We can’t get referees! We can’t get talent! What will stop this woman! She’s pummeling Usagi and I think she wants to go right back to Saori… What’s her deal…
(Daniella looks up to the stage and this time the cheers get even louder! ‘Judas’ by Lady Gaga plays throughout the arena and Holly Arrow marches out from the back! She points to Daniella in the ring and charges down, ready for action!)
Flannery McCoy: HOLLY ARROW HAS ARRIVED, READY TO PUT AN END TO THIS! DANIELLA SWINGS FOR THE FENCES AND HOLLY DUCKS! ELBOW FROM HOLLY! ANOTHER ELBOW! SHE TAKES THE WRIST AND IRISH WHIPS HER OFF!
Stew-O: DANIELLA COMES OFF THE ROPES– ‘AVALON’ CONNECTS! FLYING KNEE TO THE SKULL! DANIELLA HITS THE MAT AND SHE’S OUT OF IT! AFTER A LONG MATCHUP, SHE’S GOT NOTHING FOR THAT! HOLLY RISES TO HER FEET AND SHE’S FIRED UP!
Jake Mercer: I think she wants more, but Daniella finds enough bearings to roll out before she can get to her! Holly points to Daniella and listen to this crowd! What a moment!
(Holly climbs the middle rope and points at Daniella slowly backing away, holding her jaw. Referees come down to separate her from the ring and keep her far away. Saori is laid out in the corner of the ring, trying her hardest to recover. Usagi is staring daggers at Holly, fire brimming in her eyes at being upstaged… While Holly is focused firmly on Daniella.)
Stew-O: There’s a lot of moving pieces here! I wish I could sum it all up but I really can’t! I’m keeping my eyes peeled on all four of these women and their next moves– and you should too!
(As referees get everything underneath control, Friday Night Dynasty fades elsewhere.)
(Backstage, Drake King is seen leaving is locker room. He straightes out his suit jacket before he begins to walk. However, as he makes he way through the hall, his shoulder bumps into someone.)
Drake King: Seriously, don’t you people have manners here—
(His words cut off the moment he turns around and sees who it was that he came across. Within an instant, he frowns.)
Drake King: Well, what a surprise.
???: And what’s that supposed to mean?
(The camera pans over to reveal that the person in question is Joso. The two men stare daggers into one another, especially with how they came to blows all throughout the show last week. Drake scoffs and shakes his head, fanning him off.)
Drake King: Nothing. I don’t need to deal with some insignificant gnat such as yourself. You’re hardly on my radar.
Joso: Oh, word?
(Drake tries to walk off, but Joso immediately cuts in front of him, blocking the path.)
Drake King: Really? Move.
Joso: I ain’t moving.
(Drake tries to sidestep, but the outcome is the same. He starts to look annoyed.)
Drake King: Look, I already humiliated you last week. Do you really want to do this right now? You’re nothing of worth to me, and I made that clear. Don’t do something you’re going to end up regretting.
Joso: And there you go again, running that fat ass mouth of yours. How imma regret anything? What, because YOU of all people said so? What are you gonna do? You shouldn’t say that I ain’t worth anything, bro, especially when I’m the reigning King of Elite.
Drake King: Oh, yeah, that’s right, something you constantly have to remind people about because they keep forgetting since you’re too much of a coward to act on the opportunity given to you.
Joso: Me? A coward? That doesn’t make sense. I’m just being smart and calculated instead of rushing in on a match.
Drake King: Well, maybe you should’ve, because another inexperienced jerk swooped on in and is now having a world title match at Reckless Wiring. In fact, thanks to you running your own big mouth last week and wanting to fight me, I’m not going to be facing Myles.
Joso: Awwww, poor baby! You mad? You want a pacifier to help you feel better?
Drake King: Like I said, stop being a coward. Otherwise, you and I have nothing to talk about.
(Drake walks, but he’s cut off yet again.)
Joso: Nah, actually, we do have something to talk about, because you wanna come on into Dynasty and act like you’re the big shot around here when you aren’t. You keep calling m a coward, but at least I don’t gotta hide behind personas and act like a different person all because I was unsatisfied with how my career was turning out.
Drake King: What is with you people continuing to mention that? You know what, whatever. I’m done dealing with you nutcases.
Joso: So you say, but whatever. Point is that I’m not a coward. I’m here to prove myself and show that I am more than justified being the King of Elite, and I want to make sure that I beat the best of the best here before I inevitably become a world champion. I just want the process to be natural so that people don’t act like it’s a big surprise, and so far, I think it’s actually working.
Drake King: Oh, so what, you wanna face me next?
Joso: Yeah, but it ain’t because you’re the best. It’s because you’re an annoying lil bitch and it’s about time someone has it in them to run you out of this place. We don’t need you here. You need to get that through your head already.
Drake King: And what you need to do is stay the HECK out of my way, kid.
Joso: Do I, now?? Nah. I don’t think I will. Not only I beat your ass and show you who really runs things here on Dynasty.
Drake King: You know what? I don’t need to deal with this.
(That’s when Drake takes it upon himself to SHOVE Joso away on the shoulder, pushing him to the side. Joso look him up and down in disbelief. However, Drake proceeds to storm away.)
Joso: Oh, I know you ain’t just–
(Joso looks like he’s about to follow him but he stops himself.)
Joso: … Nah. I got something for his ass soon enough. Just he wait.
(The final shot shows Joso looking at the direction Drake walked off in before the cameras fade back to ringside for the next match ready to take place.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Sinister Purpose’ by Creedence Clearwater Revival can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the audience reacts loudly in unison. Kirk Redwood makes his way from the back and to the entrance ramp, keeping his eyes set directly on the ring as he doesn’t linger too much before heading down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 210 pounds… KIRRRRRK REDWOOD!!!
Stew-O: Kirk Redwood experienced quite the high from Pain for Pride, achieving victory in a big way as he is surely looking to go about an upward trajectory with his season to come. He has competition in the form of a fairly fresh elitist, as he will get to continue to test himself all the more.
Flannery McCoy: Kirk will surely make room for as much of a wrestler’s war as he would like to tonight, especially with such a figure as Clayton Golde who does not shy away from being as vocal as he is. I will surely make note to not express my disagreements for this match & remain as cordial as ever!
(‘Betty (Get Money)!” by Yung Gravy can be heard throughout the speakers to the immense unison of a negative crowd. Clayton Golde makes his own way out from the back with a smile on his face, nodding to himself as he enjoys the attitudes that he’s seeing from the audience while he walks down the ramp, all the more cocky.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent, from Romania, weighing in at 210 pounds… CLAYTONNNNN GOLDE!!!
Stew-O: Clayton Golde, quite the interesting figure to say the least. He enjoyed his sweet and humble beginnings within Showdown as he was able to allow the audience to familiarize themselves with his presence, whether they would’ve wanted to or not, but he is here in Dynasty to make an impact all the more. Tonight is a good chance of that.
Jake Mercer: I think it’s just fantastic that he is grounded in his own set of principles and beliefs that he strongly believes in! He is being something that not many would like to undergo, and that makes him an all the more interesting elitist who has potential to prosper!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: The bell is off as we immediately ascend into action here on Friday Night Dynasty. Kirk Redwood, in a way? Has been on this bit of an insanity run these last few weeks. He had a big win at Pain For Pride, & things are just going good for him! Kirk Redwood’s presentation just feels entirely different. It feels as if more is being brought out there. However! His opponent and the man he is facing.. Clayton M. Golde? He has a lot to prove. By defeating Kirk Redwood, you can put yourself in a great position on Dynasty! Clayton looks at Kirk as both men step out of the corner.. Clayton doesn’t really have the hostile demeanor drawn on his face.. more or less? He seems calm and collected, actually wait a second, what is he doing? He is extending his hand out towards Kirk Redwood, is he embarking some type of proposal?
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) Make me look like a million bucks, lay down on the mat and accept defeat real quick!
Flannery McCoy: :comeagain: what is he possibly thinking here? Do you think Kirk Redwood is really gonna do that? Kirk looks at the crowd, which is obviously booing. They didn’t pay money to watch Kirk Redwood lay down and let someone else win in a couple of seconds. They paid to witness WRESTLING. 2 competitors beating one another beyond end, looking for an opportunity on the massive ocean that is Dynasty! Kirk Redwood has all that he needs to hear, as wait a minute – IS HE ABOUT TO ACCEPT THAT HANDSHAKE? IS CLAYTON GOING TO GET WHAT HE WANTED–
(SMACK!)
Jake Mercer: A SLAP RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE OF CLAYTON GOLD SAYS OTHERWISE! That thing had some hardcore echo behind it, you could hear it throughout the entire arena! Clayton Golde fell to the ground, as he immediately rolled out of the ring and found himself shifting distance from Kirk! I gotta commend him, maybe he coulda caught Kirk Redwood on a less motivated/sick day, and he woulda just gave up, but instead? He caught a hand across the face. Clayton is leaning against the barricade, as Kirk exits the ring.. AND IMMEDIATELY STARTS FIRING UPPERCUTS TOWARDS THE CHIN OF CLAYTON GOLDE! CLAYTON IS RETREATING BACKWARDS AND INTO THE RING AGAIN!
Stew-O: Kirk Redwood is giving him as much intensity as probable, as we sink into the beginning phase of this match. Clayton retreats back into the ring however, as Kirk Redwood gets up on the apron– BUT CLAYTON HITS HIM WITH A BIG BOOT OFF OF IT! That was a door swinging open for Clayton, and now that the door is open, he is gonna continue to try and swing it in the face of Kirk Redwood.. Clayton exits the ring again, as Kirk is dazed– AND A CHOP BLOCK TO THE LEG OF KIRK REDWOOD TAKES HIM DOWN! There we go, quick undermining tactics is gonna take you a long way, is the Clayton Golde memo.. he throws Kirk Redwood into the ring..
Flannery McCoy: Kirk started this match hot, but now he is fizzling out a little bit. But that is just gonna have to be the tempo he works at currently. Pace yourself frequently and get back into it the best way you can.. Clayton instead of entering the ring normally, ascends up top to the turnbuckle.. Clayton in a decent position, as Kirk rises to his feet– MISSILE DROPKICK TAKES OUT KIRK REDWOOD! CLAYTON HAS THINGS GOING GREAT IN THE EARLY GOING, AS HE IS GOING TO HOOK THE LEG AND POSSIBLY FINISH THIS ONE OFF EARLY! IMAGINE IF HE PUT AWAY KIRK REDWOOD ALREADY!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOO!
THR—
Jake Mercer: BUT IT IS NO USE, AS KIRK KICKS OUT! Clayton Golde was maybe a bit perplexed.. as wait a second, HE IS PINNING HIM AGAIN!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO—
Jake Mercer: BUT KIRK KICKS OUT EVEN QUICKER THIS TIME! Clayton Golde has some frustration boiling now, he thought perhaps that should have been it for Kirk. But it is gonna take a whole load more bang for Kirk’s buck. Clayton gets up, loading his position in the corner of the ring.. looking for a superkick onto Kirk.. Kirk rises to his knee– AS THE SUPERKICK COMES IN, NO! KIRK GRABS THE BOOT OF CLAYTON, AND PULLS HIM INTO A NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! WITH THE PIN CONNECTED!
ONEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOO!
THR—
Stew-O: But Clayton kicks out! A huge counter from Kirk, when he needed it the most! But now both men are laying on the ground, who is going to rise back up to their feet at the perfect timing? Clayton is laying on the apron, as Kirk Redwood is using the ropes as an assist to climb up to his feet.. now back on his feet, he treads over to Clayton on the apron. He grabs Clayton, pulling him through the middle ropes.. he NAILS a nasty forearm to Clayton, before throwing him into the corner. Kirk examines the crowd around him, as he is charging himself up for a vicious–
(CHOP!)
Stew-O: A LOUD CHOP ECHOES THROUGHOUT THE ARENA ONTO CLAYTON, WHO IS ABSOLUTELY SHATTERED IN PAIN!
Flannery McCoy: Clayton falls out of the corner, but Kirk picks him back up– AND NAILS HIM WITH YET ANOTHER CHOP TO THE CORNER! AND THEN ANOTHER ONE! & ANOTHER ONE TO COMPLETE THE TRIO! it’s a plethora of chops, TURNING INTO UPPERCUTS IN THE CORNER NOW! Retreating back to those vicious uppercuts. Kirk Redwood is simply using psychicality to get far in this match. A genius strategy! But with Clayton in the corner now, nowhere to go, Kirk Redwood backs up.. as he lifts his hand up in the air, GETTING A SURGE OF MOMENTUM, AS HE RUNS FORTH, LOOKING FOR A HUGE CHOP IN THE CORNER ON CLAYTON GOLDE- WHO MOVES OUT OF THE WAY IN THE KNICK OF TIME, AS KIRK COLLIDES IN THE CORNER! A risky decision by Clayton, but Kirk hasn’t slowed down too much– AS HE TURNS AROUND INTO A SUPERKICK FROM CLAYTON GOLDE! WHO FALLS INTO THE COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THR—
Jake Mercer: BUT KIRK REDWOOD GETS OUT BEFORE THE COUNT OF THREE! Clayton put his body on the line there, but so did Kirk! He just was on the wrong side of the situation. And now the momentum that was there for him, immediately dipped in his favor. As Clayton Golde can now take the time that he has to chip and work on Kirk! Wear him out, and try to weaken him as much as you possibly can! As Clayton stands on his feet, aligning himself with Kirk who is rising up – AND A KNEE LIFT TAKES OUT KIRK REDWOOD! Clayton is a mean man, who truly doesn’t give a damn about Kirk nor his family. As he drops his knee onto Kirk’s head! And again! He is just rubbing it in now.. He may be able to pull this one out soon enough.. Kirk slowly rises to his feet.. AS CLAYTON IS LOOKING FOR “BRAND DEAL”!!!
Stew-O: BUT KIRK CATCHES HIM IN MID AIR! CLAYTON REALIZES THE PROBLEM HE CREATED, AND THE SITUATION HE IS IN, BUT KIRK DROPS HIM WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX ONTO HIS HEAD! A HUGE SWING AND A MISS FOR CLAYTON! But Kirk Redwood now has a chance in his back pocket, Clayton Golde rolls out of the ring.. trying to escape the wrath of Kirk Redwood & a potential pinfall, BUT THAT MAY PROVE WORSE FOR CLAYTON GOLDE, AS KIRK Redwood WIPES HIM OUT WITH A “STAR SNIPER”!! THE UPPERCUT TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING! AS KIRK QUICKLY THROWS HIM BACK IN THE RING! TO WIN THE MATCH RIGHT HERE, HE HOOKS THE LEG!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Flannery McCoy: BUT CLAYTON KICKS OUT BEFORE THE COUNT OF THREE! A HUGE MOMENT FOR KIRK Redwood, BUT RESILIENCY FROM CLAYTON GOLDE! Somehow, someway, he is still hanging in the heat. But Kirk Redwood is looking to put this thing on ice. As he exits the ring, and stands on the apron. HE IS LOOKING FOR THE 50. CAL. HE HAS PUT A PLETHORA OF OPPONENTS AWAY WITH THIS, & CLAYTON GOLDE HAS A BAD THING COMING FOR HIM, AS HE STANDS UP– AND KIRK LEAPPPPS… BUT NO! CLAYTON PUSHES THE ROPES OUT FROM UNDERNEATH KIRK, AND FORCES HIM TO FALL INTO THE RING! Kirk Redwood is dazed, as he rolls over to the corner using it to pull himself up– AND CLAYTON DRILLS HIM WITH A BACKSTABBER FROM THE CORNER! AND INTO THE COVER HE GOES!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEE—
Jake Mercer: KIRK REDWOOD KICKS OUT BEFORE THE THREE IS HIT! He almost had this match won, but in the blink of an eye, one crucial save from Clayton Golde entirely changed the favor. Things are swinging into Clayton’s favor, again. You can see the clear pain that Kirk is in, showing that back to being a target of the issue. Kirk uses the ropes to pull himself up.. As Clayton Golde is standing in the middle of the ring– BUT KIRK SWINGS A VICIOUS LARIAT AT CLAYTON GOLDE, WHO DUCKS UNDERNEATH, AND COMES BACK– “THE BRAND DEAL” PULLS OFF THIS TIME! AND KIRK REDWOOD IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING, AS CLAYTON QUICKLY SCRAMBLES OVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Stew-O: BUT IT IS ONCE AGAIN A KICK OUT FROM KIRK REDWOOD THAT SAVES HIMSELF IN THIS ONE! AND CLAYTON GOLDE CAN’T BELIEVE IT, AS HE IS EVEN ARGUING WITH THE REFEREE RIGHT NOW, THAT IT WAS A THREE COUNT!
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) I swear on everything that was a 3 count! No way in hell that it was anything else!
Stew-O: It is hard to believe, but yes. The shoulder of Kirk Redwood did come up before the count of three! Things are only heating up, and they are far from being finished. Clayton sluggishly rolls his eyes as he walks over to Kirk in the ropes as he lifts him up– AND BEGINS PUNCHING HIM IN THE FOREHEAD! Hammering away at the forehead of Kirk Redwood is just making sure to keep him trapped in this array of pain.. as he lifts him up, and throws him into the middle of the ring! Clayton Golde is now getting into position, LOOKING FOR C’EST LA VIE– BUT KIRK REDWOOD CATCHES HIM.. SAITO SUPLEX ONTO CLAYTON!
Flannery McCoy: CLAYTON ALMOST HAD IT WON, BUT KIRK SAVED HIMSELF! PHEW. Now in the middle of the ring, neither man is showing a sign of getting back onto their feet, all of them are completely out of it. What a performance so far from all of them! Kirk is out, Clayton is out. And it has been nothing but a trade off of action. Kirk is showing some signs of pulling into this, but it cannot be ignored – He has been demolished thus far! Clayton on the other hand is feeling the effects of the Saito.. as this match is a great implication of whoever hits the final move, is gonna be the winner!
Jake Mercer: Now it’s Kirk that’s the first man who is able to make his way up to his own two feet, as Clayton is eagerly bringing himself up using the ropes for as much as he possibly can! Now Redwood’s assuming his stance to a more proper basis as he sends a SWIFT ELBOW ACROSS THE TEMPLE OF GOLDE! Clayton’s still on wobbly legs for the moment as he’s unable to know where he’s positioned! Kirk fixes his positioning… AS HE TILTS CLAYTON AROUND IN HIS OWN ARMS, HE MAY BE LOOKING FOR THE ‘DOWN TO HELL’ TOMBSTONE TO SIGNAL THE END OF THIS MATCH!!!
Stew-O: CLAYTON SQUIRMS FREE AS HE LANDS ON HIS FEET BEHIND HIM… AND A FOREARM TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Kirk is dazed for the moment as Clayton needs to take advantage of this situation while he can! He attempts to get Redwood into position here, over his shoulders as… HE SEEKS OUT ‘THE GOLDE PILL’—
Flannery McCoy: KIRK CONFIGURES HIS POSITIONING TO LAND ON HIS FEET AND AWAY FROM CLAYTON… AS HE RUSHED BACK FORWARD AND CATCHES GOLDE OFF GUARD WITH ‘PAROLE VIOLATION’!!!!!! THE SPEAR TAKES CLAYTON DOWN AS KIRK HOOKS THE LEG!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…. KIRRRRRRRK REDWOOD!!!
Jake Mercer: Clayton was surely showing the former EAW Unified Tag Team Champion his own measure of potential, but Kirk Redwood would ultimately come out of this match with the victory tonight! Quite the match between both elitists as Golde surely had his work cut out for him, with Kirk able to come out of this with the win.
Flannery McCoy: A great display for both men all around, Dynasty is proving to provide its own fair share of opportunity that displays newer talent like Clayton to thrive, whether I disagree with how he may view this business or not is a matter I do not speak on though…
Stew-O: The controversial figure that Clayton Golde may be, he still worked diligently tonight. Kirk Redwood happened to be the better man, as he will walk away with this win. Congratulations to Kirk Redwood!
(‘Sinister Purpose’ by Creedence Clearwater Revival can be heard blaring throughout the speakers again, as Kirk Redwood returns to his feet with the referee raising his arm in victory. Kirk nods to himself, pleased with the result tonight while Clayton is leaned against the corner, shaking his head in disgruntlement as the scene fades from there.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to show the backstage area of the State Farm Arena where a figure is seen pacing around the halls while the camera pans upward. It’s revealed to be Vincent Mondrian, who has a determined expression on his face as he then turns over to face the camera and, from there, begins to speak.)
Vincent Mondrian: When I first entered this company, I was tasked with being different. So many people before me had fallen and crumbled under the pressure, they couldn’t handle the expectations that were placed upon them when it came to being in this company. The landscape has drastically changed, and with that, you need to change as well. It’s either that or you don’t make it, and I was never one to accept that sort of failure. I’ve had my shortcomings in EAW in the past, I could name plenty of matches off of the top of my head that have stung more than others knowing what they could do for my career. But now as I stand here before you now, I feel as though I have it all figured out. Returning to Dynasty this Season 18 I knew I wasn’t going to be the only one looking to make a name for myself, I knew that there were going to be other competitors out there looking to compete with me to do just that, and that was fine. All I knew for certain was that I had to make the first move, and I had to make it count. For people when they first join this company their sights are initially set on the New Breed Championship. Showing the smallest glimmer of promise, the prospect of it taking their infant careers to new heights. I am an example of that, this isn’t the first time that I have competed for this title. I know that I’m nothing extraordinary right now, I can admit that much, but at the same time, I know what I can do. I know the things that I am capable of doing to reach the heights that I have promised everyone that I can reach. I am willing to beat anyone to show that, and that’s why immediately… my sights were set on the man that they call BRAE.
(Vincent crosses his arms, a serious look still showing prominently on his face.)
Vincent Mondrian: This isn’t the first time that I’ve been in the ring with BRAE, and knowing how things go around here, it certainly won’t be the last. We’ve fought before, and I’ve lost, but that’s simply the nature of this business and is no clear indication of what’s to happen in the future. I’ve seen the person that he’s become, I see what that New Breed Championship has done for him, and I see all this hype surrounding him, all this glitz and glamour, and I want that for myself. I need that, and the only way I can see myself doing that is by beating him. It’s by standing over his body with the title, raising it high into the air for everyone to see, and I know that I can do that, especially at his expense if that’s the necessary thing to do. If there’s one thing that I’ve shown since I arrived here is that I’m here for the long run, I got used to the climate of this company a very long time ago and my work inside of the ring, let alone me still being here right now, shows that I’m here to stay. Last week you saw me beat AJ Redding inside of this ring to start my Season off with a perfect record, and I’m looking to keep it that way. Even though it was a good start, now I need an equally as satisfying finish, and for me, becoming the new New Breed Champion would make the hard work that I’ve put in since day one worth it.
(Vincent pauses as he lets his words soak in, clearly meaning everything that he’s said so far in this one.)
Vincent Mondrian: Once again, there is no doubt that the hype surrounding someone like BRAE is earned. He has every right to be touted as the next big thing here on Friday Night Dynasty and he has the potential to be a huge name in his own right, especially with him defeating one of the most dominant Elitists in recent memory. But while that’s nice and all, I’m afraid that his little triumphant run is going to have to get cut short by me. We talk about the fateful first defense and how usually it doesn’t go wrong for the Champion, but that’s never a guarantee. You can look in the past and you can see so many holders crumble simply because they just were not ready for it, and while I’m not saying that’s going to be the case for BRAE, all I’m saying is the last thing that he should do is be comfortable where he is right now and expect a defense against me to be easy. This is a new beginning for me, and I’m going to make sure that I stand here before you as the man who has accomplished the seemingly impossible, I intend to make that a reality when the bell rings and we step into the ring at Reckless Wiring. Regardless of the stipulations and circumstances, I’m ready to fight, and most importantly… I’m ready to win.
(Vincent scowls before turning around and beginning to make his way out of the scene, but before he does… he’s met with someone standing right in front of him.)
BRAE: I heard what you had to say.
(The crowd cheers loudly as BRAE adjusts the title over his shoulder, Vincent staring daggers into him while he does.)
BRAE: I’m more interested to see if you can back it up… I certainly can.
(BRAE chuckles as he makes his way toward Gorilla Position, leaving Vincent to his lonesome once more. Vincent eyes him as he leaves, shaking his head as he turns around and walks the opposite direction as it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty, from there, begins to fade out to elsewhere.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to a shot of the State Farm Arena as Stephie Love is seen standing by with a microphone in hand, ready to speak.)
Stephie Love: The following SINGLES MATCH is a contest scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Duel of The Fates V2’ by Samuel Kim is heard blaring through the speakers as the crowd goes wild for the New Breed Champion BRAE who is seen beginning to make his way out to the stage. He has a determined expression on his face as he gives a battle cry before then beginning to make his way down the ramp and to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… residing in Bray County Wicklow, Ireland… weighing in at 215 pounds… he is the EAW NEW BREED CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! ‘THE IMPERIAL SYMPHONY’… BRAE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well we saw backstage just before this a confrontation with Vincent Mondrian and BRAE as both of them look geared toward facing one another with the title on the line at Reckless Wiring. That’s certainly going to be interesting.
Jake Mercer: But right now BRAE is looking to keep raising his stock as a Champion, and right in front of him lies a massive hurdle that he’s going to have to conquer if he really looks to do that. I’m sure it’s nothing new for him though.
(‘Ready Aim Fire’ by Blue Stahli begins to play up as the crowd cheers once more for Mattias Burke who is seen making his way out. He has a smile on his face as he circles around the stage, hyping up the fans in attendance before looking over to the ring with a poised expression, beginning to make his way down.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… from Liverpool, England… weighing in at 185 pounds… ‘THE EXILE’… MATTIAS BURKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Last week Mattias Burke ended up coming short in in-ring competition on the first Dynasty of Season 18, but right now he has an opportunity lying in front of him against a Champion who could very well give him a huge victory if he plays his cards right.
Jake Mercer: It’s not going to be easy, but I’m sure that’s something that Mattias is up for. If he truly wants to advance his career like he says that he’s going to do, then he’s going to have to participate in these big matches and see where he stands. We’re just going to have to see for ourselves what he’s going to offer tonight.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: This match has begun and here we go! With that tense encounter backstage I’m sure BRAE is looking to make a statement in this bout, but at the same time, it seems like Mattias Burke is eager to get a huge victory here tonight in our opening match. They make their way out of their corners before engaging in a quick collar-and-elbow tie-up.
Flannery McCoy: Mattias slips around and locks in a quick arm wrench, trying to wear down BRAE early, but BRAE isn’t having that as he spins around and locks in an arm wrench of his own, kneeling and trying to take his opponent down to the ground. But Mattias is quick to roll forward as he gets back up to his feet, stepping forward… BEFORE SLAMMING BRAE DOWN TO THE GROUND QUICKLY!
Jake Mercer: Mattias with a quick mat slam to assert dominance early and it looks like BRAE is amused by that, rising back up to his feet as he rushes toward him! But before he can do anything, Mattias manages to sidestep before sending him to the ropes! BRAE rebounds… but Mattias hits him with a dropdown… following that up with a leapfrog… BEFORE LAUNCHING INTO THE AIR AND NAILING HIM WITH A DROPKICK STRAIGHT TO THE CHEST!
Stew-O: The Champion is trying to get something going here in this match but it seems like Mattias is just too quick! BRAE rises back up to his feet as he locks up with him again, this time turning him around before cinching in a side headlock! Trying to keep him in place for the moment, but Mattias is quick to wrap his arms around his waist… TRYING TO LIFT HIM UP AND TRANSITION THAT INTO A NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX- But BRAE manages to keep himself grounded, as he drives an elbow straight into his spine!
Flannery McCoy: But this gives Mattias enough of a window to slip out before grabbing him by the head and taking him down to the ground with a Snapmare! BRAE is in a seated position as Mattias shoots to the ropes and back… LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH A PENALTY KICK ACROSS THE CHEST- But that doesn’t happen as BRAE manages to grab his ankle just in time before it connects! Mattias is hobbling and that gives BRAE enough time to get back up to his feet… sweeping him by the leg and taking him down to the ground! Mattias lands flat on his back as BRAE sets him up… LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND CRUSHING HIM WITH A SENTON! Mattias is down as BRAE hooks the leg and goes for an early pin!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWW-
Jake Mercer: But Mattias kicks out! It looks like BRAE is trying to gauge the field and see what he’s working with in this match right now. BRAE is quick to rise back up and lock in a chin lock as Mattias struggles for air, trying to find a way out of this, but it seems like it’s not going to be very long before that happens. He is slowly beginning to rise back up to his feet, trying to find a vertical base as BRAE is simply trying to wear him down right now after the pin attempt. But Mattias is up as he pushes BRAE against the ropes before sending him to the opposite side of the ring from there…
Stew-O: But before he can do anything it’s BRAE that manages to catch himself by grabbing the ropes, stopping just in the nick of time. Mattias doesn’t look happy about this as he rushes over… LOOKING TO CLOTHESLINE HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE AND OUT OF THE RING- But BRAE moves out of the way as he grabs him and sends him out through the middle rope instead! Mattias lands on the apron, trying to get back up to his feet, BUT IT’S BRAE THAT RUSHES FORWARD IN A FULL SPRINT AND TRIES TO KNOCK HIM OFF OF THE APRON WITH A HUGE FOREARM SMASH TO THE FACE-
Flannery McCoy: NO! Mattias manages to block it just in time before pushing it away! BRAE tries to rebound, BUT BEFORE HE CAN IT’S MATTIAS THAT NAILS HIM WITH A ROPE-ASSISTED ENZUIGIRI RIGHT TO THE FACE! BRAE staggers back and makes his way toward the center of the ring, but is trying his best right now to approach Mattias and try and take him down before he can do anything… IT’S TOO LATE THOUGH AS MATTIAS LAUNCHES OFF OF THE ROPES, GRABS HIM BY THE HEAD, AND DROPS HIM DOWN WITH A SPRINGBOARD TORNADO DDT! MATTIAS HOOKS THE LEG!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOOO-
Jake Mercer: BUT BRAE MANAGES TO KICK OUT OF THAT BEFORE HE DOES! A good showing by Mattias Burke so far but it’s clear that BRAE just isn’t the easiest opponent to pluck off. He’s the New Breed Champion for a reason and he’s shown why he excels in matches like these, and he’s going to stop at nothing to make sure that he comes out on top. Mattias is rising back up to his feet though, and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to put a stop to the offense that he has going for him right now.
Stew-O: But all a competitor like BRAE needs is one opportunity and he’s going to take it when he gets the chance. You can see the eyes of Mattias as he waits anxiously for BRAE to rise back up, and it’s not long before he rushes at him…
Flannery McCoy: AS HE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND GOES FOR AN ATTEMPT AT ‘BLAST POINT’! THE BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE RIGHT TO THE FACE-
Jake Mercer: BUT BRAE MANAGES TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT BEFORE IT CONNECTS! Mattias spins around and tries to get himself back on track… JUST FOR BRAE TO CATCH HIM AS HE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND NAILS HIM WITH A JUMPING KNEE STRIKE STRAIGHT TO THE FACE! Mattias is on spaghetti legs right now and this allows BRAE to follow it up, AS HE LIFTS HIM INTO THE AIR AND DRIVES HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A SPINNING URANAGE!
Stew-O: You can see how dire this is looking for Mattias, as he knows that if he lets him get any more offense in then he can kiss his chances in this match goodbye. He’s trying to widen the gap by rolling out of the ring and onto the apron, escaping for a moment to catch his breath. But it doesn’t seem like BRAE is going to let him do that as he makes his way over before clocking him right against the face with a forearm strike! Mattias is stunned and this gives BRAE the opportunity to turn him around…
Flannery McCoy: AS HE LOOKS TO GO FOR ‘THE 10 BEATS OF BRAE’!
Jake Mercer: BUT MATTIAS MANAGES TO STOP IT AS JUST IN TIME AS HE GRABS A HOLD OF THE ARM BEFORE UNWINDING HIMSELF… AS HE CRACKS HIM AGAINST THE SKULL WITH A HEADBUTT! Mattias then grabs hold of the ropes, looking to follow that up and once again take him down to the ground… LEAPING THROUGH THE AIR AND GOING FOR A SPRINGBOARD FOREARM SMASH RIGHT TO THE FACE!
Stew-O: BUT BRAE MANAGES TO CATCH HIM ONTO HIS SHOULDERS BEFORE THAT CAN HAPPEN! MATTIAS ISN’T EVEN ABLE TO LAUNCH OFF BEFORE THE NEW BREED CHAMPION RUSHES FORWARD AND SETS HIM UP FOR THE FIREMAN’S CARRY… DRIVING HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A HUGE MICHINOKU DRIVER!
Flannery McCoy: BRAE isn’t done either as he takes him and brings him back up to his feet, grabbing him by the wrist and sending him toward the corner with an Irish whip! Mattias is backed up as BRAE rushes forward… NAILING HIM WITH A HARD CHOP TO THE CHEST! Mattias is stunned as he tries his best to hold on… BUT BRAE FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH ANOTHER CHOP! AND ANOTHER! AND ANOTHER!
Jake Mercer: AND HE’S BEGINNING TO ABSOLUTELY UNLOAD ON HIS OPPONENT RIGHT NOW WITH VICIOUS MACHINE GUN CHOPS TO THE CHEST! MATTIAS IS LIMP IN THE CORNER AS THERE’S NOT MUCH HE CAN DO TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE OVERWHELMING OFFENSE THAT IS BEING THROWN HIS WAY! AND BRAE GETS ONE LAST HARD CHOP IN BEFORE HE STEPS BACK! MATTIAS DROPS LIKE A SACK OF BRICKS AND BRAE IS ROLLING HIM OVER GOING FOR A PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHRRRR-
Stew-O: BUT MATTIAS FDNDS IT WITHIN HIM TO GET HIS SHOULDER UP JUST IN TIME! He’s not going down so easily and he’s looking to prove that he’s able to hang with the best, but the best might not let him even get a chance as BRAE immediately does not concern himself with the thought of this match continuing, rather keeping this wave of offense going as he grabs a hold of him by the head and brings him up to his feet…
Flannery McCoy: BUT MATTIAS MANAGES TO COME ALIVE AS HE DRIVES A KNEE STRAIGHT INTO HIS ABDOMEN! BRAE is doubled over for the moment and this gives Mattias the chance to run to the ropes and back, desperately trying to get this match back in his favor knowing the situation that he’s in… BUT IMMEDIATELY HIS HOPES ARE SHUT DOWN AS BRAE GRABS HOLD OF HIM BY THE BODY BEFORE LIFTING HIM OFF OF THE GROUND AND DROPPING HIM HARD WITH A TILT-A-WHIRL BACKBREAKER!
Jake Mercer: Mattias is immediately dropped down to the ground and you can see that BRAE isn’t done here, looking to put the finishing touches on the flurry of offense that he has in his favor right now, grabbing him by the head and pulling him in before lifting him off the ground… TRYING TO DRIVE HIM DOWN WITH A POWERBOMB!
Stew-O: BUT THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN! Mattias manages to stop BRAE with a strike down on the top of his head! BRAE is trying his best to go through with the maneuver, but Mattias is not letting up as he continues to absolutely batter him, trying to make sure that his chances right now are preserved and that he can still continue to push through. BRAE is beginning to lose his ground… AND BEFORE LONG IT’S MATTIAS THAT MANAGES TO SWING FORWARD AND TAKE HIM DOWN WITH A HARD HURRICANRANA! BRAE stumbles down to the ground but is quickly beginning to get back up to his feet…
Flannery McCoy: BUT MATTIAS OUT OF NOWHERE SWOOPS IN AND DROPS BRAE WITH THE REVERSE SWINGING STO! ‘GREETINGS FROM LIVERPOOL’ MANAGES TO CONNECT AS MATTIAS ROLLS BRAE OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG! GOING FOR THE PIN ATTEMPT RIGHT HERE! COULD THIS BE IT IN THIS MATCHUP FOR THE NEW BREED CHAMPION?!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREE-
Jake Mercer: NO! NO! BRAE MANAGES TO GET THE SHOULDER UP JUST IN TIME! This match continues and Mattias is in disbelief! He came extremely close to closing that out but in the end, it seemed like that wasn’t enough. That doesn’t mean that it’s over, and depending on what he has in mind now he could very well shift this match completely in his favor. He begins to rise back up to his feet as he has his eyes set on BRAE who seems to be stirring, trying his best to get back up before things end up getting dire for him. Mattias is about to close out…
Stew-O: AS HE APPROACHES HIM AND GOES UNDER BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP INTO THE ELECTRIC CHAIR POSITION! HE’S GOING FOR ‘PURGATORIO’ TO FINISH THIS MATCH OFF COMPLETELY!
Flannery McCoy: BUT BRAE MANAGES TO NAIL HIM WITH A STRIKE BEFORE SLIPPING OFF OF HIS SHOULDERS AND LANDING BEHIND HIM! MATTIAS TURNS AROUND AND TRIES TO SEND A STRIKE HIS WAY- BUT THAT’S ONLY BEFORE BRAE GRABS HIM AND SENDS HIM FLYING ACROSS THE RING WITH A HARD CAPTURE SUPLEX TO TAKE HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND! BRAE THEN RISES BACK UP TO HIS FEET AS HE RUSHES TOWARD HIM!
Jake Mercer: LEAPING INTO THE AIR AS HE GOES FOR A ‘RED DEATH’ ATTEMPT! H-BOMB TO MATTIAS BURKE-
Stew-O: BUT MATTIAS MANAGES TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT JUST IN TIME BEFORE GETTING BACK UP TO HIS FEET! BRAE TURNS AROUND, BUT THAT’S ONLY AFTER HE’S MET WITH A BOOT STRAIGHT TO THE FACE BY MATTIAS WHICH SENDS HIM STAGGERING BACK TOWARD THE CORNER! BRAE is trying to fight back now but Mattias isn’t letting him… AS HE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND NAILS HIM WITH A FOREARM SMASH!
Flannery McCoy: Mattias then grabs him by the head… AS HE DROPS HIM DOWN WITH ANOTHER TORNADO DDT! MATTIAS ROLLS THROUGH THOUGH AND KEEPS A HOLD OF HIM… AS HE DROPS HIM DOWN WITH A RELEASE GOURDBUSTER! BRAE LANDS HARD ON HIS STOMACH AS HE GETS UP TO A KNEELING POSITION… JUST FOR MATTIAS TO LEAP THROUGH THE AIR AND NAIL HIM HARD AGAINST HIS JAW WITH A SUPERKICK TO DROP HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!
Jake Mercer: Mattias is now rolling out onto the apron as he has his eyes set on the top rope, beginning to scale up the turnbuckle padding and looking down at BRAE who hasn’t moved an inch since then. It seems like his offense has worked, but it’s not going to do much if he’s unable to follow up on it! Mattias has him set him…
Stew-O: AS HE LEAPS OFF AND GOES FOR A ‘BRITISH AIRWAYS’ ATTEMPT! THE 450 SPLASH TO BRAE TO TAKE HIM OUT!
Flannery McCoy: BUT BRAE MANAGES TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY! JUST BEFORE IT CONNECTS BRAE MANAGES TO FIND IT WITHIN HIM TO AVOID THAT AS HE GETS BACK UP TO HIS FEET! MATTIAS DOES THE SAME EVEN THOUGH THE IMPACT AS HE LANDED ON THE CANVAS IS SURE TO HAVE ROCKED HIM…
Jake Mercer: BUT IMMEDIATELY BRAE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AS HE NAILS HIM WITH ‘MORRIGAN’! THE BROGUE KICK STRAIGHT TO THE FACE KNOCKS MATTIAS DOWN TO THE GROUND!
Stew-O: BRAE staggers back and he knows that he has it in him to close this out. He fought long and hard, but now he finally has an opening and Mattias hasn’t moved an inch since the kick landed right across his jaw. It was a close attempt at a finishing move, and if that connected we could’ve very well seen Mattias Burke come out of this one with a massive victory on BRAE, but right now it seems like the Champion has other plans! He falls into the corner and raises his arms into the air… RUSHING FORWARD AT A FULL SPRINT…
Flannery McCoy: AS HE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND NAILS HIM WITHT HE SECOND ATTEMPT AT ‘RED DEATH’! THE H-BOMB STRAIGHT TO MATTIAS COMPLETELY KNOCKS HIM OUT AS BRAE HITS HIM WITH BACK-TO-BACK FINISHING MANEUVERS TO SECURE THE VICTORY FOR HIMSELF! HE HOOKS THE LEG! GOING FOR THE PIN RIGHT HERE! WILL THIS BE THE ONE THAT CLOSES IT OUT?!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Duel of The Fates V2’ begins to blast through the speakers once more as an exhausted BRAE is seen rolling off of the body of Mattias Burke and making his way up to his feet. He’s handed the New Breed Championship as he raises it high into the air while celebrating the victory that he got here tonight on Dynasty.)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… the EAW NEW BREED CHAMPION!!!!! BRAE!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Well I can’t say Mattias didn’t try, that was a really good showing out of him. He was a hair away from closing this match out and getting the win for himself but that didn’t seem to be in the plans. Right now the night belongs to the New Breed Champion as he gets a well-needed victory en route to Reckless Wiring.
Stew-O: And I’m sure Vincent Mondrian, his challenger for the Marquee Event, is watching this match very closely and certainly likes what he’s seeing. That’s destined to be a great match and if anything, we know that BRAE is more than ready to rise to the occasion against him in his first title defense. But for right now, congratulations to BRAE on the victory!
(BRAE rolls out of the ring and slings his title over his shoulder as he makes his way up the ramp, with that being the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty, from there, begins to completely fade out.)
(We pan back to Dynasty as the scene shows someone gingerly walking through the backstage area. That would be revealed as none other than Saori Aizen. There was a lot of pain traveling through her after the events that had occured. She halted herself, resting against a crate… letting out a deep breath….)
Saori Aizen: Not the ideal way to close out night one in EAW…
(She was still feeling the effects of what had occurred earlier in the night, the beatdown, and the whole ordeal.. She held the back of her neck, sighing as she sat there with injuries.. But to her surprise, she would be approached by someone. Emerging and standing before her was…)
Usagi Senshi: That was pretty brutal out there? Are you doing alright after all of that?
(Usagi Senshi was there, as she stood, looking at Saori. Saori was a bit surprised to see Usagi, but she just nodded her head, giving reassurance. Even if she wasn’t truly doing the greatest.)
Saori Aizen: I am fine. And I will be fine, but as for you – I thank you very much. You went out there and stuck your neck out for me, when you really didn’t need to. It was a sacrifice that may have been seen as regretful, but again. Thank you. I guess not everyone in EAW is like Daniella.
Usagi Senshi: Of course. I have been in EAW for a long time now, and I know how this goes. I know what levels of disrespect exist, and how people can be. To be honest with you? What occured between you and Daniella, more or less, has been the second nature of my career. If it isn’t someone, it is always something. Something stupid. I didn’t want to see that cycle repeat. But I am not out to make enemies, you know? More or less, I see the negativity in people like Daniella. I can see what they become, when they are granted everything via free will. I was more than willing to come out and help, because I have seen this all play out before. Take it from someone who has had many matches here.
Saori Aizen: I get it, you have been around here for years at this point, yet you feel like you must prove yourself every passing week. We have a similar mentality in that aspect. It is sink or swim out here, and one way you could look at it; Daniella was just trying her hardest to make a statement. However.. I was not going to be the one that she made that statement on. I really respect that. But yeah you have been around here for a long while, what is your best piece of advice?
Usagi Senshi: Be ready to grow as a person, and as a competitor. There will be a plethora of times where you are trapped. When your career feels as if it is rotting in limbo, but don’t let it decide you. It’s going to humble you just a bit, I’m gonna be honest. It isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. There are hills so big that you just gotta hang on to them, even if you can’t climb them. Those severe weather conditions won’t last forever.
Saori Aizen: I see. I feel like tonight is a good introduction to how stuff like that is going to be played out. After sacrificing everything I had in me, for a match: I am immediately subjected to a violent beatdown. But I love the challenge. The best way to escape, presumably, is by identifying the problem as it is coming head on. You don’t want to be caught in the middle of a bad situation for your career trajectory.
Usagi Senshi: This is the truth, and nothing else. My career has been stuck in that from time to time. I am not gonna act like I am some decorated and end all be all Elitist. I still have so much to prove, that I am trying my hardest to prove. But I know where my worth is right now, and I know where I stand. But I am not afraid of stepping out of my comfort zone and into places I don’t belong. Again, I am not here to make enemies. I am simply here to make statements and reveal things that weren’t known about me yet.
(Saori nodded her head, as she listened to all that Usagi had to say, and the more she thought about it.. It was becoming more and more clear..)
Saori Aizen: The more I think about it, we do have more in common than I realized. We have similar mindsets, similar passion, it all aligns in a perfect manner, in some ironic way. Maybe tonight was meant to happen for better reasoning..
(Usagi nodded her head. Usagi found herself in a pretty shocking situation, she didn’t expect to be back here so fast…)
Usagi Senshi: Of course. And if you ever need any help, and find yourself in a situation like tonight? You can always call upon me as a reliable person to depend on. That doubles as genuinely anything. If anyone is bothering you, attacking you, or if – you need a tag team partner for a match, I got your back. So feel free and don’t hesitate to ask me.
(Saori nodded her head, as Usagi turned around to walk away, but just as she did that, Saori raised a hand..)
Saori Aizen: Wait a moment..
(Usagi turned back around and walked over.. looking at Saori.)
Usagi Senshi: Yeah, what is it?
Saori Aizen: Maybe I do need your help more than I initially believed. When I looked at the Women’s roster on Dynasty alone.. I saw one of the most dangerous places in the world. A division of people who will devour you alive if you aren’t prepared. This is what the division has become. Sink or swim. And the sharks around the water are vicious. So maybe sticking together, it can be beneficial for the both of us.. to stick together.
(Usagi thought to herself for a moment, thinking back to what had occured with the Ice Aces and such.. But something about this, definitely had more optimism running for it..)
Saori Aizen: So.. your answer?
(Usagi looked at her, debating her question.. and all she could give was a subtle nod. A smirk appeared on her face, as she turned around and walked away. Saori was left there looking a bit confused at first, but a smirk planted across her face.)
Saori Aizen: Hm.
(With that stated, the scene would cue out from there, as Dynasty would fade elsewhere…)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is a singles match set for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Judas’ by Lady Gaga began blaring through the arena’s speakers to tremendous cheers as Holly Arrow marched out to the stage with a determined expression plastered across her face. She acknowledged the crowd with a nod as she made her way down the ramp towards the ring.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Hailing from Liverpool, England, weighing in at 149 pounds… she is ‘THE SERAPH’, HOLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! ARROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!
Stew-O: Coming off the heels of a victory over Mia Santoro last week, Holly Arrow arrives once again to Friday Night Dynasty as she looks to capture another victory after having been drafted to the brand!
Flannery McCoy: She made her world championship aspirations clear at the draft show, but tensions have been brewing between her and several other women as we got to see in the previous episode of Dynasty, where she had a tense confrontation with Mia Santoro and Daniella Atlas, who also had her own confrontation with Usagi prior to their match!
Jake Mercer: All of the women involved faced defeat at Pain for Pride Kingdom, but that only seems to have motivated them further as they look to make Season 18 belong to them!
Stew-O: They won’t ALL be able to rise to the top, though; whoever succeeds will have to do it at the expense of others, and that includes Holly and her opponent tonight!
(‘I am not a woman, I’m a god’ by Halsey began playing to loud boos as Usagi Senshi sauntered out onto the stage from behind the curtains with a slightly pained expression on her face. She made her way down the ramp and into the squared circle where she came face to face with Holly Arrow before the referee separated them.)
Stephie Love: AND HER OPPONENT! Hailing from Fukuoka, Japan, weighing in at 115 pounds… she is ‘STARBOY’, UUUUUUUUSAAAAAAAAAAAGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!
Jake Mercer: Delulu Senshi’s here, and she’s looking just about ready to tear Holly Arrow’s head off her shoulders!
Flannery McCoy: She came up short against Daniella Atlas last week after their tense confrontation backstage, but that hasn’t stopped her from claiming the victory was stolen from her due to the way Atlas pinned her!
Stew-O: She’s not in the best condition right now, though; how could she be, when her attempt to save Saori Aizen earlier in the night led to her experiencing the wrath of Daniella Atlas as well?
Jake Mercer: Holly Arrow made the run-in to run Atlas off, but having to be saved by the woman you’re about to head into a match with may have been a hit to the ego!
Stew-O: She’s been looking to distinguish herself from the Ice Aces, and Season 18 is no exception as she continues her constant championship aspirations! Will Season 18 be when it finally happens for her? A victory over someone like Holly Arrow would certainly go a long way in helping her prove herself!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! Usagi Senshi and Holly Arrow both leave their respective corners as they begin measuring each other up with extended hands, looking to see if they can catch the other off guard without allowing themselves to be capitalized upon!
Flannery McCoy: Holly Arrow decides to take the aggressive approach as she lurches forward and attempts to force a lock up with Usagi, but Usagi utilizes that agility and smaller size to evade it as she slides past her opponent and pops up behind her!
Jake Mercer: Usagi quickly wraps her leg around Holly’s and grabs hold of her head as she executes a sudden Russian leg sweep to bring the Seraph down to the canvas with a thud!
Stew-O: She looks to follow up and keep hold of the reins of this match as she slides over to grab a hold of Holly’s head in the form of a front face lock, wrenching it as she brings both herself and Holly back to a standing position!
Flannery McCoy: And Usagi throws Holly’s arm over her head, possibly looking for a suplex from this position? It seems that way as she tries lifting Holly overhead, but Holly appears to be sandbagging the attempt; Usagi isn’t able to get her off the ground all the way!
Jake Mercer: OH, and a stiff kick to the gut by Holly Arrow, who retracts her arm and instead throws Usagi’s own arm over her head; SHE gets the vertical suplex lift executed, and now Usagi is hanging upside down over the Seraph’s head!
Stew-O: Holly Arrow throws Usagi forward, choosing not to go for a traditional suplex but instead dropping her forward with a twist to land her on her back!
Flannery McCoy: The Seraph continues with her assault as she leaps up and lands in a mounted position atop Usagi, almost executing a pseudo-seated senton with how hard she landed on her!
Jake Mercer: And Holly is demonstrating that aggression with a flurry of mixed strikes to the head of Usagi! Starboy’s trying to guard against it with both arms, but the combination of forearms, elbows, and even palm strikes keeps catching vulnerabilities between and around Usagi’s arms!
Stew-O: It’s not looking good for- OH, nevermind, Usagi launches a kick from that laid position, catching the back of Holly’s head with her shin in an attack the Seraph certainly didn’t see coming!
Flannery McCoy: That seems to be enough to knock Holly off, and Usagi quickly scrambles away to get back to her feet while she’s clutching her head in pain.
Jake Mercer: Holly is quick to get back up, though, and that kick only seems to have angered the Seraph! She quickly lurches forward to attack Usagi more, but Starboy is able to get out of dodge by abruptly dropping to the canvas and rolling out of the ring from underneath the bottom rope!
Stew-O: Holly Arrow follows suit, not looking to allow Usagi Senshi a moment of reprieve, but the moment she gets out to ringside, Usagi tackles her into the ring post! Holly is definitely a tough competitor, but getting rammed into something as hard as the ring post is enough to take some breath out of your lungs, that’s for sure!
Flannery McCoy: Usagi Senshi quickly follows up on the momentum, looking to take advantage of Holly’s temporarily dazed state by ambushing her with alternating chops and elbow smashes!
Jake Mercer: That definitely worked as Holly staggers past Usagi with her head clutched; Usagi sees the opportunity and she wants to seize it!
Stew-O: Starboy quickly slides back into the ring and sprints across its length to rebound off the ropes! That adds some velocity to her step as she runs as fast as she can back to the ropes and dives out through the opening between the ropes; she isn’t going for a suicide dive, though, she’s looking to plant Holly head-first onto the ringside floor with a tornado DDT!
Flannery McCoy: BUT HOLLY DOESN’T ALLOW IT, AS SHE SWINGS USAGI SENSHI MID-DDT ATTEMPT AND CRASHES HER INTO THE SIDE OF THE RING!
Jake Mercer: Usagi drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Holly Arrow forces her back to her feet so that she can roll her back into the ring, and then she slides in to follow suit and immediately goes to hook the leg off of that!
ONEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Stew-O: But Usagi is able to kick out well before the three count, keeping her in the match! Holly Arrow doesn’t seem deterred as she drags Usagi over to the corner and props the back of her head up against the bottom turnbuckle!
Flannery McCoy: We’ve seen this before; Usagi is in trouble, and Holly is taking this moment to let that pain sink in! She lifts up her boot and presses it against the head of the Starboy, forcefully compressing it against the bottom turnbuckle!
Jake Mercer: She keeps it up… but then suddenly, she sprints over to the opposite corner of the ring while Usagi is still dazed in that seated position against the corner!
Stew-O: Holly Arrow bounces off the opposite corner and runs back to Usagi, following up on that pressed boot to the head by executing a running hip attack, using her own bodyweight to crash against Usagi with nowhere for the kinetic energy to go due to the bottom turnbuckle behind her head!
Flannery McCoy: That attack definitely knocked Usagi silly; she involuntarily falls out of that seated position and ends up laid out in front of the corner of the ring! Holly sees the position and looks out to the EAW Universe, seemingly beckoning them with that gaze alone, and the crowd responds with louder cheers!
Jake Mercer: It seems the message got through as Holly Arrow nods and climbs up the corner, perching up on the top turnbuckle before rising up to a full standing position on top of the top turnbuckle! She’s going high risk and high reward, folks!
Stew-O: She dives off the top and looks to come crashing down on top of Usagi Senshi’s midsection with a massive diving double foot stomp… BUT USAGI ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY!
Flannery McCoy: Holly Lands on her feet, but I think she tweaked one of her feet as she suddenly grabs it with a look of discomfort on her face!
Jake Mercer: Usagi Senshi takes notice as she staggers to her feet! Holly Arrow looks to charge forward and not allow Usagi to get away, but the issue with her ankle causes her to stumble forward, and Usagi looks to capitalize on that immediately by leaping forward and applying leg scissors on that dominant leg of Holly Arrow!
Stew-O: And alongside the leg scissors, she unleashes a sudden kneebar! Holly Arrow suddenly realizes the trouble she’s in as she frantically moves her arms around, trying to find the ropes, but Usagi’s merciless wrenching makes it difficult to focus or look around!
Flannery McCoy: Holly tries kicking Usagi’s legs that are keeping the knee bar locked in with the leg scissors, but Usagi is holding on with everything she has with not even a little bit of intention of letting go!
Jake Mercer: Holly continues scratching and clawing with her arms against the canvas as she inches closer and closer to the ropes, her finger almost within reach…
Referee: ROPE BREAK!
Stew-O: Holly managed to get to the ropes, and Usagi is being forced to let go! But she isn’t releasing the kneebar, she still has it locked in while she argues with the referee! The referee isn’t taking this as they start counting Usagi to five before a disqualification would be called; this threat causes Usagi to release the hold at the count of 4, bending the rule as much as possible without costing herself the entire match!
Flannery McCoy: Holly Arrow managed to escape the kneebar via rope break, but that doesn’t take away the damage that was done to her leg, and also doesn’t change the fact that Usagi is in the lead right now!
Jake Mercer: Holly is hanging onto the ropes that forced the end of the submission hold and using them for leverage as she staggers up to her feet, albeit leaning most of her weight on her good leg; Usagi Senshi, though, had gotten up much prior and was measuring Holly up this whole time!
Stew-O: She suddenly applies a waist lock to Holly Arrow and tears her away from the ropes WITH AN ACE-PLEX! ACE-PLEX CONNECTS, AND THE HIGH ANGLE RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX FORCES HOLLY ARROW TO GO CRASHING BACK DOWN TO THE CANVAS ON HER NECK!
Flannery McCoy: SHE’S LAID OUT! Usagi immediately hooks the bad leg for the pin!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THR-
Jake Mercer: After all that, Holly Arrow STILL kicked out! She doesn’t call herself the strongest for nothing, it seems!
Stew-O: Usagi Senshi is looking quite frustrated at Holly’s resilience, but it seems the Starboy has an idea on her mind!
Flannery McCoy: Just as Holly Arrow did earlier in the match, Usagi Senshi painstakingly climbs up to the top rope; unlike the Seraph, though, she’s getting booed like crazy while she’s up there!
Jake Mercer: It’s not like she’s looking to win fans up there, she’s here to win the match! She swings her arms for momentum as she LEAPS OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! LOOK AT THAT HEIGHT!
Stew-O: FALLLLLLLLLL TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PIECEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
Flannery McCoy: OH MY GOD, NO, HOLLY ARROW ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME! USAGI JUST CRASHED HER ENTIRE BODY WEIGHT DOWN ONTO THE CANVAS!
Jake Mercer: That finishing maneuver may have finished HER off, because Usagi is looking dead after that! People always forget the ‘high risk’ part of ‘high risk, high reward’.
Stew-O: Holly Arrow, with her knee clutched, forces herself to fight through the pain through sheer adrenaline as she staggers back to a standing position! She drags Usagi Senshi up with her, although it’s a difficult process with Usagi seeming almost entirely out cold after that finisher went wrong!
Flannery McCoy: Holly Arrow grabs Usagi’s wrist from behind and RIPCORDS HER OUT AND BACK IN WITH A LARIAT! THE EMPEROR’S TIME CONNECTS AS VIOLENTLY AS HOLLY COULD MANAGE, AND IT FLIPS USAGI INSIDE OUT!
Jake Mercer: HOLLY STILL HAS THAT WRIST CLUTCHED EVEN AFTER THE MANEUVER, THOUGH! SHE ISN’T LETTING GO UNTIL SHE’S SURE SHE HAS THE VICTORY!
Stew-O: SHE DRAGS USAGI UP BY THE ARM, AND… GALAXY IMPACT! GALAXY IMPACT! HOLLY ARROW HITS GALAXY IMPACT, BUT A MODIFIED ONE-LEG VERSION OF IT USING ONLY HER LEFT KNEE! WILL IT BE ENOUGH?! SHE HOOKS THE LEG!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(‘Judas’ by Lady Gaga began playing yet again as the EAW Universe began cheering loudly for Holly Arrow’s victory!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… THE SERAPH, HOLLYYYYYYYYYY ARROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!
Stew-O: It was a hard-fought match by both women, but just like she did last week, Holly Arrow was able to come out on top and acquire her second consecutive victory here on Friday Night Dynasty!
Flannery McCoy: Considering how Daniella Atlas damaged her earlier in the show, it was definitely an admirable effort by Usagi Senshi as well, who gave it everything she had! Tonight, though, everything wasn’t enough against the Seraph!
Jake Mercer: If Holly was looking to make a statement tonight, I’d say she definitely got the job done with this performance!
(Holly Arrow continues to celebrate her victory with her arm raised by the referee, with Usagi Senshi laid out a few feet away. The video feed continues to linger on Holly, until…)
Stew-O: OH MY GOD!
Flannery McCoy: IS THAT DANIELLA ATLAS?!
Jake Mercer: Daniella Atlas has arrived on the scene and she is immediately making a statement of her own as she nearly decapitates the Seraph with a vicious lariat to the back of the head after sliding into the ring!
Stew-O: And now Daniella is mercilessly stomping out Holly Arrow, who must still be exhausted from the match she just had because she’s unable to fight back or even roll away!
Flannery McCoy: Usagi Senshi is still too hurt to help out either, leaving Holly completely isolated as Daniella continues this cruel and cowardly ambush!
Jake Mercer: You call it an ambush? I’d say it’s payback for Holly attacking her earlier in the night!
Flannery McCoy: What Holly did wasn’t an ambush, she was saving Saori and Usagi from Daniella’s post-match attack! The only issue here is Daniella, and she’s completely out of control with multiple ambushes in the same night!
Stew-O: Say what you will about who’s right and who’s wrong, but right now, Daniella has the pumphandle applied and I think she’s about to unleash her finishing maneuver onto Holly Arrow, the Pumphandle Drop she calls South of Heaven!
Jake Mercer: Daniella Atlas goes to lift Holly up in that pumphandle… BUT HERE COMES SOMEBODY ELSE! MIA SANTORO SPRINTS DOWN THE RAMP FASTER THAN I THINK I’VE EVER SEEN HER, AND SHE SLIDES RIGHT INTO THE SQUARED CIRCLE!
Flannery McCoy: She immediately knocks Daniella Atlas to the canvas with a running dropkick, forcing her to release Holly Arrow, who takes the moment of reprieve to roll away from the danger zone!
Stew-O: Mia Santoro brings the pain to Daniella Atlas with a frenzied barrage of stomps! The fury she brought was enough to cause Daniella to frantically roll out of the ring and end her attack, and now it’s Mia in the ring staring down at Daniella at ringside!
Jake Mercer: The tension between all four of these ambitious elitists is quickly growing from week to week; I’d say the champions should keep an eye out, because everybody I’m seeing right now seems to be as motivated as they’ve ever been!
(Usagi Senshi and Holly Arrow managed to stagger back to their feet and saw Mia Santoro and Daniella Atlas’ staredown; Daniella pointed behind Mia, causing her to notice the other two women in the ring, and now all four women were glaring daggers at each other. The video feed slowly faded to black on this scene.)
(Dynasty fades backstage with Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant backstage at their office. The two of them had been looking at the television in front of them, witnessing the last match with Usagi Senshi and Holly Arrow. The two of them are sipping champagne in glasses, looking to be enjoying themselves.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Now, things are certainly heating up with our women’s division. Don’t you think so, Richard?
Richard Grant: Absolutely, Kensi. The last match was truly a showcase of Japanese and good ole fashioned British wrestling. It’s…what do the cool kids say these days? “Real graps?” I think those two women did a great job for themselves, but nothing compares to the time where I wrestled a grizzly bear in Mississippi in October 1982!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Now, that’s certainly a story that I would love to hear around a lovely streak dinner, Richard. Your stories about facing all of these outlandish things have always been fascinating to me. :wow:
Richard Grant: Nothing seems more perfect than the two of us on a sky top of one of the fanciest restaurants in Atlanta, Georgia.
(Richard Grant holds Kensingten Calhoun-Astor’s hand and kisses it. The crowd in the State Farm Arena is heard booing at the display of affection between these two. Kensingten is completely glowing as she giggles, almost like she’s in high-school and this is nothing more than one of those high-school romances.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: It’s what we deserve after all the work that we’ve done with Dynasty already.
Richard Grant: Absolutely, after one week, this show is better than ever! We’re slowly showing everyone why Dynasty is the top brand! Showdown may have the 24/7 Contract holder and Mr. Cash in the Vault. Voltage may have gotten to some of those that we were looking at, but still, I am content with the show that we put on last week. There are a couple of thu—minor interferences, but we’ll nip those in the bud before it becomes a huge issue.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: With stars like Cy Henderson, Rex McAllister, Drake Armstrong and Myles, I think that this will be Dynasty’s best season yet. The crop of talent that I just mentioned is outstanding. The best our main event scene has ever looked in AGES. Something that Tyrone Montgomery and Diamond Dixon would have never allowed to happen!
Richard Grant; Not only this season, but Reckless Wiring looks to be shaping up to be a fantastic card, Kensi! Already, things are just coming into place.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: It seems like we may have helped reopen the wounds with Minerva and Raven Roberts.
Richard Grant: There’s also Shinzo Sazaki, who is looking to no longer become this company’s best kept secret as he is looking to step up against Hans Grayson and take him on for the Interwire Championship. By the way, when Donald Trump wins the election, I have this GREAT idea surrounding Hans and Trump that I’ll tell you during dinner!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: I’ll make sure to bring the idea book! :wow:
Richard Grant: Not only that, but we have the BRAE taking on the fresh faced Vincent Mondrian for the New Breed Championship! A match that will definitely be hard-hitting! None of these flips and gymnastics bullshit that you’ll see on Voltage!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: But, that’s not just it, Richard — Reckless Wiring is always a fun time of year but the most exciting part is the fan’s decision. The fans choose the stipulations. And, we can assure everyone that there’s going to be no illegal voting or tampering like we all saw in the 2020 election! Every vote will be legit!
Richard Grant: Since Myles versus Drake Armstrong will be our World Championship match at Reckless Wiring, we are going to start these little festivities with announcing the matches that will be available with this match. The first one is going to be a … Dog Collar Match. I know that we saw Kassidy Heart and Miku Sakai face off for the Universal Women’s Championship in this match last season, so the thought of seeing Myles and Drake Armstrong having collars around their necks might entice the BDSM fanbase!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: We’re just some of the selfless people here, Richard. Thinking about those types of freaks. :wow: But, I think the second one is as enticing…a Glass Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. We’re bringing House of Glass a bit earlier to the EAW Universe by providing a match up that could allow for Drake and Myles’ bodies to go through TONS and TONS of glass. Almost providing me with flashbacks of accidentally shattering my mom’s glasses in the cabinets. The whooping that I was given for that is something that left a lasting impression for me. But, I ended up stronger than ever.
Richard Grant: Already proving to be better than some of these snowflakes, Kensi. A strong-willed woman who LEARNS from her mistakes and doesn’t make them again. But, while a Dog Collar match and Glass TLC is all fine and dandy, I have grown to adore the staple of the Dynasty brand and our final option for Myles versus Drake and that’s ‘Dome of Death.’
(The crowd pops for ‘Dome of Death.’ A match which had almost become a yearly tradition for the Dynasty brand. Just like Voltage has Barbed Wire Massacre, Dynasty has ‘Dome of Death’ and it’s always a match that gets the crowd on the edge of their seats.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: The craziest part is that it is just one match. We got plenty of matches to look toward too. We have plenty of stipulations that we have to offer as well! Ultimate X, Spidernet Barbed Wire Deathmatch, LEGO Table, Fans Bring The Weapons and maybe, this will be the year where we give the crowd what they want and that’s the match that LEGALLY won last season and that’s ‘Bra and Panties!’ I’m aware that the match caused a lot of controversy and outcry, but who are we to listen to a couple of wokes? :mjlol:
Richard Grant: We’ll see how we can fit all of the stipulations into this card. There’s SO many to choose from, Kensi. We may need to sacrifice some favorites, but we’ll see. Regardless, it’s going to be fun!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Agreed, Richard. Everything is shaping up to be great! Now, let’s move on to other things…
(Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant look towards Kensingten’s clipboard, looking to cover the next thing on the agenda before the scene pans back to ringside.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to a shot of the State Farm Arena as ‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ is heard blasting through the speakers of the arena. The Interwire Champion Hans Grayson is seen heading around to ringside as he takes a seat at the commentary table.)
Stew-O: Of course tonight we’re joined by the Interwire Champion Hans Grayson at the commentary table. Thank you for joining us.
Hans Grayson: Of course, certainly an interesting match we’re about to witness.
(The camera then goes to Stephie Love who is seen standing by with a microphone in her hand as she begins to speak.)
Stephie Love: The following SINGLES MATCH is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(TOP (“Tower of God” OP English Version) by Stray Kids is heard playing through the speakers of the arena as the crowd cheers for AJ Redding who is seen making his way out. He has a serious expression on his face as he pops his neck before then beginning to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… from Auckland, New Zealand… weighing in at 227 pounds… ‘REDEFINED’… AJ REDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well last week we saw AJ Redding come up short in a match against Vincent Mondrian, and now tonight he looks to bounce back in a huge way.
Hans Grayson: I’ve had my eye on him since his arrival to this company and he’s certainly a promising talent. He has a lot of heart, and a win against the Elitist that he’s facing tonight will do wonders for him.
Jake Mercer: Are you betting on that?
Hans Grayson: Well I certainly wouldn’t want my challenger looking weak. But if it happens, it’ll certainly be a pleasant surprise.
(‘Loose Change (Instrumental) by The Alchemist begins to play up following that as the camera goes over to Shinzo Sasaki who has a serious expression as he makes his way out from the backstage area. As determined as ever he begins to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring from there.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… from Kobe, Japan… weighing in at 220 pounds… THE ‘LEADER OF THE UNDERWORLD’… SHINZO SASAKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: As for Shinzo of course we saw last week he attacked Hans Grayson and looked to make a statement at his expense en route to capturing the Interwire Championship. It certainly seems like he has his eye on you.
Hans Grayson: Not entirely surprising. While I did find it disrespectful what he did, I can’t exactly blame him for it either, it’s apart of the game. But I hope he understands what he’s getting himself into doing something like that.
Jake Mercer: Well he’s certainly going to try and make a statement with you watching against a competitor like AJ Redding.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: This match is officially underway and once again we’re joined here tonight by the Interwire Champion Hans Grayson, who seems eager to keep a close eye on this match, especially considering one of the participants who happens to be involved.
Hans Grayson: Thank you, Stew. Let’s just say I have some business to handle after last week.
Flannery McCoy: Reasonably so, but I guess we’re just going to have to see where that goes later. Right now though Shinzo Sasaki and AJ Redding both look eager to get this match underway, and it seems like AJ is looking to offer a lock-up between the two. Shinzo seems willing to oblige… BUT HE FAKES HIM OUT AS HE SENDS A KICK RIGHT TO HIS ABDOMEN! AJ is doubled over as Shinzo grabs him by the wrist and pushes him against the ropes, sending him to the opposite side of the ring with an Irish whip… BEFORE DROPPING HIM WITH A HUGE SHOULDER BLOCK WHICH TAKES HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH AUTHORITY!
Jake Mercer: Cheap tactics by Shinzo but it’s done him well, as he’s wasted no time sliding under and grabbing a hold of his head and bringing him into a chin lock! He strengthens the grip that he has around him and right away it’s up to AJ to make sure that he finds a way out of this and out of harm’s way. AJ is quick to push himself back up to his feet as Shinzo is doing what he can right now in order to drop his weight and make sure that he’s kept in place. But AJ quickly twists his body around before beginning to drive strikes right into his abdomen! He’s trying to force a break and while Shinzo is trying to hold on, he has no choice but to as the two create distance with one another!
Hans Grayson: Shinzo might be good, but we have to give credit to AJ. He’s a plucky underdog who’s not going to cave in even against the worst adversary, he has a lot of promise and I’m not going to shy away from saying that. But it’s going to take a lot more than heart to beat Shinzo, I know that from personal experience.
Jake Mercer: You’re not going to be mean to him or anything?
Hans Grayson: You could say there’s a time and a place for that. :troll: I’m a commentator!
Stew-O: Back to the action, Shinzo just rushed over to AJ but AJ seemed to have moved out of the way and sent him into one of the corners instead! Now AJ is wasting no time beginning to stomp into him as he drives his foot repeatedly into his abdomen! Trying to make sure that he asserts himself early knowing the fierce competition that he’s trying to beat! Shinzo slumps down to a seated position, and now AJ is pressing his knee against his face, continuing to wear him down!
Flannery McCoy: After some time AJ relents, and it looks like he’s going for something else right now as he runs around the ring, looking to gain a running start… HE LEAPS THROUGH THE AIR AND TRIES TO NAIL SHINZO WITH A FACE WASH- BUT SHINZO MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Just in time, he seizes a hold of the bottom rope before taking himself away to safety, meanwhile, AJ collides hard with the turnbuckle padding, stunned for the moment. He staggers backward as Shinzo makes his way up to his feet… GRABBING A HOLD OF HIM AND SPINNING AROUND BEFORE TAKING HIM OUT WITH A SNAP POWERSLAM!
Jake Mercer: Shinzo then gets himself up to his feet, grabbing AJ by the wrist and bringing him up, looking to follow through with the offense so far… HE THEN PULLS AJ IN AND LIFTS HIM OFF THE GROUND INTO A SAITO SUPLEX! AJ is hurt by the impact of the move but it doesn’t look like Shinzo is done either, as he shifts down to grab a hold of him around the waist and bring him up once again… THIS TIME LIFTING HIM UP AND CONNECTING WITH A BACK SUPLEX!
Hans Grayson: If we know one thing it’s that Shinzo is a very methodical person. He can pick you apart and leave you defenseless under crushing offense like this, and if you don’t have a counter to that then simply put, you’re just not going to win. You have to catch him before he catches you and that’s something that AJ needs to stay weary of.
Stew-O: Shinzo seems to be using these moments to catch his breath, allowing AJ to rise back up to his feet so that he can attempt to take him back down again. AJ steps forward and tries to throw a punch his way- But Shinzo blocks it before nailing him with a hard forearm which sends him staggering back! AJ is hurt for the moment, BUT AS HE COMES TO HIS SENSES HE’S MET WITH A ROLLING ELBOW STRAIGHT TO THE FACE BY SHINZO!
Flannery McCoy: AJ falls against the ropes, and Shinzo uses this opportunity to make his way toward him… BUT BEFORE HE DOES THAT IT’S AJ WHO MANAGES TO BRING HIS FOOT UP AND BOOT HIM ACROSS THE FACE! Shinzo is taken aback by this but begins to make his way back over… AJ THOUGH BOOTS HIM STRAIGHT IN THE ABDOMEN BEFORE TAKING HIS HEAD AND SENDING HIM OUT OF THE RING THROUGH THE ROPES!
Jake Mercer: Shinzo just in time manages to grab the ropes and uses them to climb back up onto the apron. This is not looking good for him as AJ begins to cover some more ground, and he’s quick to try and enter back into the ring to take him out of this compromising position… BUT WHILE HE DOES HE’S MET WITH A VICIOUS KNEE STRIKE TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD OF AJ REDDING! Shinzo is rocked and AJ is quick to grab him by his head and drag him toward the center of the ring, as he looks to set him up…
Stew-O: AS HE CONNECTS WITH ‘BRAIN DAMAGE’! THE SNAP BRAINBUSTER TAKES SHINZO DOWN TO THE GROUND AND AJ ROLLS HIM OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG! TRYING TO GET THE PINFALL ON HIM EARLY!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRR-
Flannery McCoy: BUT SHINZO COMES ALIVE AND SHOOTS THE SHOULDER UP JUST IN TIME! It was a close attempt by AJ but it’s going to take a lot more than that in order to take down a competitor like Shinzo Sasaki.
Hans Grayson: Rightfully so. Shinzo hasn’t been around this company for the longest time, but he’s proven that he has the mindset of a seasoned veteran. He knows his way around and has a purpose, especially when he’s in the ring. Against a competitor like AJ even when he’s getting hit with these big moves I’m sure that he’s just waiting for that one small moment because when that happens that’s when he can turn all of this back around like he did earlier.
Jake Mercer: I feel like you’re just bragging that you know him well. :lupe:
Hans Grayson: No, I’m commentating. 🙂
Jake Mercer: Well AJ has Shinzo by the head as he brings him back up to his feet, beginning to drag him over… BEFORE SLAMMING HIS FACE AGAINST THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! Shinzo falls back against the corner, and AJ is wasting no time beginning to lay into him with repeated strikes to the face! Shinzo is desperately trying to fend them off, knowing that if he lets this go on for much longer then the situation is going to get dire! But AJ is quick to transition as he grabs him by the wrist and sends him into an Irish whip toward the opposite corner… RUSHING FORWARD AND LEAPING INTO THE AIR AS HE NAILS HIM WITH A HIGH KNEE TO THE FACE! NOT WASTING ANY TIME!
Stew-O: Shinzo is hurt and AJ is taking advantage of that, proceeding to grab him by the head and take him down to the ground with a Snapmare! He then sizes him up… BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A KICK RIGHT ACROSS THE SPINE! Shinzo is hurt by this as AJ then grabs him by the arm and sends him toward the ropes with an Irish whip, lying in wait… BEFORE SPINNING AROUND AND GOING FOR A DISCUS LARIAT TO THE HEAD-
Flannery McCoy: NO! Shinzo comes to his senses and manages to duck under that! AJ turns around… ONLY TO BE GRABBED AROUND THE WAIST AND LAUNCHED ACROSS THE RING WITH A BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX! AJ is down on the ground and Shinzo is quick to rise back up to his feet… AS HE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND CONNECTS WITH THE ‘SASAKISAULT’! THE STANDING MOONSAULT LANDS AND SHINZO IS QUICK TO HOOK THE LEG AND TRY FOR THE PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
Jake Mercer: BUT AJ MANAGES TO KICK OUT!
Hans Grayson: It’s easy to underestimate someone like AJ Redding, especially when you take into consideration how little experience he has compared to most Elitists on the roster. But you have to understand that it’s going to take more than that to keep him down, and I think Shinzo has come to the realization of that slowly but surely.
Stew-O: Well it certainly doesn’t look like he’s done if that’s any sort of consolation. He rises back up to his feet and uses this moment of reprieve to collect himself. AJ is still down on the mat but is beginning to gain some life as he slowly pushes himself up to his feet. Shinzo has his eyes set as he runs toward the ropes, looking to set him up for something big…
Flannery McCoy: AS HE LAUNCHES FORWARD AND GOES FOR ‘BOOMERANG’! THE HANDSPRING BACK ELBOW TO AJ REDDING TO TAKE HIM BACK DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH ANOTHER BIG MOVE!
Jake Mercer: BUT HE’S CAUGHT BY AJ REDDING! HE FALLS RIGHT INTO A WAISTLOCK AS AJ SETS HIM UP… BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP AND CONNECTING WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Shinzo is taken down, but that doesn’t seem to be it either as AJ rolls through and lifts him back off the ground… BEFORE FOLLOWING THAT UP WITH A SECOND GERMAN SUPLEX TO DROP HIM DOWN ONTO THE TOP OF HIS HEAD! You can see the fierce look in the eyes of AJ Redding as he musters up the strength to rise back up yet another time…
Stew-O: AS HE LIFTS HIM UP AND TRIES TO CONNECT WITH A THIRD GERMAN SUPLEX! SUPLEX CITY-
Flannery McCoy: BUT SHINZO JUST IN TIME MANAGES TO FIND A WAY OUT OF IT AS HE FLIPS OVER THE HEAD OF AJ AND LANDS BEHIND HIM! HE’S THEN QUICK TO GRAB A HOLD OF HIM AROUND THE WAIST BEFORE SETTING HIM UP…
Jake Mercer: AND CONNECTING WITH ‘ENTER THE DRAGON’! VERTICAL DROP BRAINBUSTER TO TAKE DOWN AJ AS HE ROLLS HIM OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG! PIN ATTEMPT! WILL THIS BE IT RIGHT HERE?!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREE-
Stew-O: BUT AJ MANAGES TO KICK OUT OF THAT! Shinzo was close but in the end, it just wasn’t enough to keep him down.
Hans Grayson: That’s what I mean! You give Shinzo even the slightest bit of breathing room and of course, he’s going to take advantage of that. You can beat him down all you want but the last thing you want to do is get overzealous. Thankfully AJ managed to find it within him to kick out, but this should force him to crank it to 100 knowing that Shinzo was that close to winning.
Flannery McCoy: Shinzo is pacing around the ring, eyeing AJ who is trying to come to his senses, and this doesn’t look good for him whatsoever. He knows that whatever lies ahead might be fatal for his chances in this match, as he gets back up to his feet and turns around to face Shinzo…
Jake Mercer: BUT SHINZO GRABS A HOLD OF HIM AND GOES FOR ‘THE POISON PILL’!
Stew-O: BUT THE SWINGING REVERSE STO INTO A DDT DOESN’T CONNECT AS AJ MANAGES TO SPIN OUT OF IT JUST IN TIME! SHINZO TURNS, AS AJ LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND NAILS HIM WITH AN ENZUIGIRI TO HIS FACE TO TAKE HIM DOWN TO THE MAT! That was a close call there but somehow AJ managed to find his way out of it, but you can see how exhausted he is. You can see how much this match has taken out of him.
Flannery McCoy: Both of them begin to rise back up to their feet, but it seems like AJ is the slightest bit quicker… AS HE SPINS AROUND AND GOES FOR A DISCUS LARIAT!
Jake Mercer: BUT SHINZO MANAGES TO AVOID THAT! I think that was the setup for AJ’s finisher the ‘Chernobyl Bomb’, but Shinzo wasn’t having that as he strumbled toward the ropes! He turns around… JUST FOR AJ TO RUSH FORWARD AND NAIL HIM HARD WITH A KNEE STRIKE TO THE ABDOMEN! AJ then grabs him and sends him toward the opposite side of the ring… CONNECTING WITH A KNEE LIFT WHICH TAKES HIM DOWN AS WELL!
Hans Grayson: AJ is doing good holding his own but it’s a matter of whether or not he’s going to be able to finish the job. That’s always the most difficult part of being a wrestler, and believe it or not, some people just don’t know how to do that. If he can’t close out right here, then it’s going to get increasingly more difficult as time goes on and that’s not something that he wants to happen at all.
Stew-O: Well it looks like that’s what he intends to do, and while the ‘Chernobyl Bomb’ didn’t exactly work, he has a lot more in his arsenal to go for that could finish this match just as effectively. He makes his way over and seizes a hold of him by his legs…
Flannery McCoy: AS HE’S ABOUT TO LOCK IN THE ‘DIVINITY DEVICE’! THE STANDING INVERTED TEXAS CLOVERLEAF!
Jake Mercer: BUT SHINZO MANAGES TO FORCE HIMSELF OUT OF IT AS HE PUSHES HIM AWAY USING HIS FEET! He rises back up as AJ tries to fight back, STEPPING FORWARD AND GOING FOR A CLOTHESLINE- BUT SHINZO PREVENTS IT AS HE USES HIS BOOT TO FORCE HIM BACK! Shinzo then follows that up… AS HE LEAPS ONTO HIS SHOULDERS AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH ‘DEEP CUT’! THE FRANKENSTEINER COMPLETELY WIPES HIM OUT AND NOW HE’S FEELING IT!
Stew-O: Shinzo looks to close out once and for all as he takes hold of AJ and brings him up to his feet, with not much that AJ is able to do himself…
Flannery McCoy: AS HE CONNECTS WITH ‘MADVILLAINY’! THE WRIST CLUTCH EXPLODER SUPLEX TAKES HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND AS SHINZO ROLLS HIM OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG! GOING FOR THE PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Loose Change (Instrumental)’ begins to play through the speakers as Shinzo Sasaki gingerly rises up to his feet. He has an exhausted expression on his face as the referee makes their way over and raises his hand in victory. He has a serious expression on his face as he glances at the hard camera, taking a deep breath before celebrating his victory.)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… SHINZO SASAKI!!!!!!!!!!
Hans Grayson: See, I didn’t interfere in the match.
Jake Mercer: Well I don’t take you to be that kind of person.
Stew-O: It was a hard-fought win by Shinzo tonight as AJ certainly came out of the gates having brought his A game. But in the end, he managed to find a way and I’m sure he’s looking to send a message to Hans here tonight who has been watching closely.
Hans Grayson: Yeah, that’s why he’s looking at me right now. Thank you for your time.
(Hans stands up from his position at the commentary desk and makes his way over to the ring. Shinzo steps back and allows him to enter as the two of them go face-to-face. Both of them have serious expressions on their faces as the crowd goes loud.)
Stew-O: There’s certainly no love loss between these two, and at Reckless Wiring they will be competing against one another for the Interwire Championship! Shinzo may have gotten a statement win here tonight, but is he going to be able to beat Hans? I guess we’re just going to have to find out.
(The last shot seen is Hans and Shinzo staring daggers into one another as Friday Night Dynasty, from there, begins to fade out elsewhere.)
(A commercial is shown for Saturday Night Showdown this week, headlined by The Jaded Hearts facing La Familia.)
(‘Ghost’ by DIAMANTE hits. The fans cheer and Raven Roberts comes out. She has a microphone in hand already as she makes her way to the ring, acknowledging a few of the fans lending their support for her. However, it’s clear she has bigger things to focus on, and she’s ready to let it all out as she enters the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing at this time, RAAAAAAVEEEEEEN ROOOOOOBEEEEEEEEERRRRRTS!
Stew-O: The Bird of Prey is here, and after crossing paths with Minerva last week, one has to wonder where she stands with some old wounds opening back up. It’s evident that these two women have some unfinished business, and with both of them looking to make an impact of Dynasty, they want to settle the score once and for all.
Jake Mercer: Minerva and Raven is a tale as old as time. I feel like that feud has opened the floodgates for both women becoming these icons in their own right. However, it was a very personal thing, and all this time later, those bitter feelings are still on the surface. I don’t think they’re gonna go away either unless they get these issues sorted out with one another.
Flannery McCoy: Yeah, the circumstances behind their matches were intense. Both of them want to move forward, but before they can do that, it seems like they’ll have to cross paths yet again — and for Raven especially, she wants to make it be known that when it comes to being the top female Elitist here, it’s going to be her. But before she can move forward, she has to address the past that’s still present here.
(Raven’s theme fades, and the fans continue to cheer. A small smile cracks on her face. She looks around the arena for a moment before beginning to speak.)
Raven Roberts: You know, I just realized this is going to be my first time properly addressing everyone since the start of the new season. I’m sure people are wanting to know about my plans and how I go about making a name for myself here on Dynasty now that I’m competing on this brand. I don’t want to get too cheesy like everyone else and start listing off all of these resolutions like it’s the new year, but I like to think it’s obvious what I want: I want to be a champion again in my career.
(The fans cheer for this.)
Raven Roberts: After all, don’t we all? Every one of us strives to be great in all facets, and I’m no exception. I returned to EAW because I wanted to get back to the position that I was in, and yeah, I already carved out a nice career for myself. First woman to be a Cash in the Vault holder, first woman to become the New Breed Champion, a former tag team champion with my husband, and a former world champion in my own right. And clearly, with how my name has been constantly brought up by people during my absence, I like to I’ve done a pretty good job at being remembered. However, with everyone saying my name, there has been certain narratives that have been drummed up. Some were likening me to the Darcy May Morgan’s and Sarah Prices of the world who did achieve quite a bit in their careers, but there seems to be a slight hesitation in giving them any more props than that. Some were saying that, yeah, I was great in my prime, but I wasn’t the best. I try not to let the opinions of others shift my lens too much, because honestly, everyone has something to say, but the competitor in me couldn’t help but have this fire roaring where I wanted to prove everyone wrong. I guess with how things wait before my break, I can’t necessarily fault anyone for thinking that I was done. However, I wasn’t out, and I knew that when I came back to EAW, I wanted to redefine my own story and rewrite it so that people can forget about the bitter endings and see me for how great I truly am.
Raven Roberts: Last season was a step in the right direction, but it didn’t net me another championship. I won’t moan or say that it was wasted. Ultimately, I had my only title match at Pain for Pride and fell short, and because of that, becoming a Grand Slam Champion has eluded me. However, that doesn’t mean that I’m going to be dejected. I’m going to keep pushing and whether I do get that accomplishment or not, it doesn’t matter. All I want is to show that in 2024, Raven Roberts still got it, and this season, I’m willing to do whatever it takes to show to everyone that I’m not going anywhere. I want to be a legend, I want to be an icon, I want to be the best, and so, that’s what I plan on doing.
(More cheers pour from the fans. Raven nods.)
Raven Roberts: And I want to get there by going after—
(Suddenly, ‘Blood, Milk and Sky’ by White Zombie hits. Raven’s smile instantly drops. Minerva comes out to a loud reaction of her own and enters the ring.)
Stew-O: Oh, business is picking up immediately! As we say last week, these two crossed paths and you could cut the tendon with a knife!
Jake Mercer: Absolutely! Now, Minerva is out here, face to face to Raven Roberts!
(Minerva is handed a microphone and looks back at Raven, who narrows her eyes at her. The women stare each other down, the visual of which is enough to have the audience go crazy. However, they quiet down once Minerva begins to speak.)
Minerva: Raven, having goals for yourself is admirable. Even I agree that I wish to become a champion once more in my career, for as accomplished as I may already be, I love to compete. However, after what happened last week, the last thing you should be thinking about now is adding another piece of hardware to your collection.
(Raven raised a brow at this.)
Minerva: See, last week, you said that if I wished to open back some old wounds, I would need to see you. Quite frankly, it sounded like a challenge, something that I will never take lightly.
Raven Roberts: So, what, are you offended by what I had to say? Never thought of you to be so thin-skinned, Minerva.
Minerva: No, it’s not offensive to me. However, you and I both know there is unfinished business between the two of us. I was able to end your first Universal Women’s Championship reign at Pain for Pride years back while making things personal, and at Shock Value, you would defeat me. However, since then, the trajectory of our careers have been different. I ascended after that loss and became one of the all-time greats whereas you slowly found yourself slipping and slipping until you were out of here. In hindsight, your name should be brought up alongside mine, but it isn’t because of the simple fact you were never able to reclaim your peak again. You just weren’t the same Raven that soared through the skies. You became a shell of yourself, whereas I continued to grow, get better, and add more to my name. I don’t have a thin skin because I’m secure enough with my career and how it has turned out, but you…?
(Minerva looks at her more intently.)
Minerva: It’s evident you yearn for more. You feel incomplete. You know that things should be better. Right now, everyone should be positioning you as an inevitable hall of famer, but it doesn’t feel that way. It feels as though you need to conquer one last hurdle before your legacy can be comfortably solidified. However, I hope you don’t think you can achieve that through my expense, Raven. This is a different landscape now, and while you’re still having to adjust, I have continued to be the best throughout multiple generations. From Empire to now, I have never ran away, and I continued to push through no matter what. That’s why I’m still standing after all this time.
Raven Roberts: Me, run away? That’s cute. However, I’m still standing here too, Minerva. In fact, I’m here for the long haul.
Minerva: And why is that? Because you know deep down you could’ve been even more? Perhaps you’re even jealous?
Raven Roberts: Jealous? Now that’s quite a jump. I’m not jealous of you, Minerva. I wouldn’t even want to be anything like you. I want to be the best in my own right, and while it’s all fine and good that now you’re revered and you’re hailed as a legend, that doesn’t erase everything that you have done to me. But still, why would I be the jealous one when I was able to pay you back in the end?
Minerva: … That you have, and I must admit that I don’t like the fact that you have a win over me, especially when you were unable to do much with it afterwards. I thought about your words last week, and I think I do want to face you again. Make amends, close old wounds, and finally but everything to rest between you and I.
(The fans pop for this. Raven eyes her down but she nods.)
Raven Roberts: Well, if that’s what you want, then fine. However, you aren’t going to be beating me this time around. I meant it when I said that I want to be the best, and if that means I have to run through you, then so be it. I’ll open up the past one more time to make sure my future is secured here, and I see no better way of doing that than by taking you down.
(Raven drops her mic, as does Minerva. Things are tense, but there’s no fight. The two women stare each other down as the fans cheer, an old flame rekindling between two fierce rivals.)
Stew-O: WOW! THE CHALLENGE HAS BEEN MADE! RAVEN! MINERVA! IT’S HAPPENING AGAIN!
Jake Mercer: Well, talk about a blockbuster bout! These two women know each other so well, and they’re ready to bring everything back to the forefront if it means they can say they’re the best woman here on Dynasty!
(The final shot shows Minerva and Raven continuing to stare at each other before Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A commercial is shown for Sunday Night Voltage this week, headlined by Jake Smith facing Solomon Stane.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following main event contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Pride & Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki can be heard across the speakers as the most polarizing reception can be heard throughout the arena tonight. Drake Armstrong emerges from the back with a cocky expression plastered on his face, amused by the negative energy revolving around his presence due in part to the crowd as he proceeds to step down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! From Scarsdale, New York, weighing in at 245 pounds…. DRAAAAKE, ARMSTRONG!!!
Stew-O: Drake Armstrong has been on quite the roll as he’s returning much of the momentum he once had as the Interwire Champion. A victory tonight can properly accelerate this process, as his opponent tonight is not someone that anyone will be taking lightly. If Drake succeeds, there’s no doubt that he will quite the win to speak of.
Flannery McCoy: Of course he surely will speak of it highly, but he will need to focus on the victory firsthand rather than believing it’s guaranteed. This is a main event against an EAW Hall of Famer that truly doesn’t need much introduction, it would be best for Drake Armstrong to be well prepared.
Jake Mercer: You’re not giving Drake Armstrong enough credit, he has defeated his own share of Hall of Famers in this business! Tactics are essentially irrelevant when they bring in these results, which Drake is capable of tonight.
(‘Survivor’ by The Score can be heard throughout the arena as Rex McAllister makes his way outward from the entrance ramp as he has a positive expression, giving a brief glance toward the audience. He looks at the crowd with a reassuring nod, before looking ahead to Drake in the ring as he then makes his way down the ramp with optimism for the main event.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent! From Sea Isle, New Jersey, weighing in at 238 pounds… REXXXXX MCALLISTER!!!
Stew-O: Drake Armstrong may be quite the cunning performer whenever the bell rings, but Rex McAllister has proven to be able to outmatch cunning with the art of professional wrestling all the more. McAllister is world renowned for good reason, as he has carved out his own legacy through a great measure of hard work and willpower unlike any other in this entire sport.
Flannery McCoy: Can’t deny that at all! Rex McAllister continues to operate at an increasingly high level despite the years that he has spent as an elitist, who continues to raise that bar every single time. Tonight, Drake will need to truly be on his A-game with his opponent.
Jake Mercer: Oh c’mon, we need to stop short changing Drake here. He’s been able to succeed in the time that he has, and tonight can be another indicator of why he cannot be overlooked in the slightest!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! Our Dynasty main event has kicked off tonight as for the first time ever, Rex McAllister goes one on one with Drake Armstrong! Armstrong is looking to secure quite the emphatic victory over the EAW Hall of Famer, as both of these men have steered clear of one another for quite some time. But now, we get to see two secured elitists do battle, as Drake Armstrong now has the opportunity to truly test himself against a legendary competitor to the heightened degree of Rex McAllister. Safe to say that Drake will certainly be eager to obtain as much of an advantage as possible tonight, because he’s got his work cut out for him in a man who does not give up so easily.
Flannery McCoy: Without a doubt, this can be one of the biggest wins that Armstrong is able to score for his career if he is able to use his wit properly! I am certainly not counting on Drake to be the most courteous opponent to Rex, but we are off to the best start possible for a match in that direction as Rex & Drake are able to lock horns with a collar & elbow tie-up! Each elitist are just about evenly matched from a physical standpoint, so there won’t be any eye opening exchange in a power dynamic here with how this match can shift. The collar & elbow has remained as even as it can be, ‘till Rex is beginning to push Drake back all the more into the ropes! The referee counts for a brief moment…
Jake Mercer: As we all know with Rex at this point, he’s not gonna allow tradition in a wrestling match to be thwarted. He slowly backs himself off of Drake while he can, as he has his hands raised as does Armstrong who sports a nod with his own hands raised as well… ‘till he reels his arms right around Rex McAllister’s neck and applies the headlock!! McAllister tried to have extended the common courtesy, but perhaps he should know better with a foe as cunning as Drake Armstrong is! Now Drake can’t help but grin to himself, wrenching his arm around Rex McAllister’s jaw as this headlock is being applied with a bit more force than usual. Absolutely looking to make an example out of McAllister in any way that he can!
Stew-O: Which doesn’t seem to be working as efficiently as he may have hoped, as Drake isn’t able to keep Rex at bay for wrong due to McAllister being able to shift Drake toward the ropes, shortly before pushing Drake off of himself and sending him toward the ropes! Armstrong rebounds back toward Rex as now McAllister drops to a prone position here! McAllister looks to rush over as he looks to hop—what the??!? Drake Armstrong just stepped right onto Rex’s back and walked right over him without a second thought! A snicker on his face as well after an absolutely disrespectful move, Drake showing no intentions in invoking the thought of a professional start to this match!
Flannery McCoy: I don’t understand how anyone in their right mind can root for this man, he doesn’t know a thing about being a respectful professional wrestler when it matters! Now we’ve got Rex, who is visibly disgruntled with how Drake Armstrong has treated this match and his opponent in unison. Of course, Armstrong is relishing in this moment as he extends his arms outward without another thought, nodding to himself as if he’s truly getting into the headspace of his opponent. Well, Drake better turn around right about now as he’s going to met with a—
Jake Mercer: KNIFE EDGE CHOP RIGHT ACROSS HIS CHEST!!! Drake felt every bit of that as he’s now staggering over to the corner, but Rex isn’t all too interested in slowing down here! He’s gonna humble him before long, as he’s sending ANOTHER chop right across his chest without avail! That’s a former Interwire Champion that he’s trying to outmatch here, hopefully he doesn’t underestimate Drake Armstrong in the slightest tonight!
Flannery McCoy: Uh, excuse me? Drake needs to contend against a multi-time World Champion of the caliber that Rex McAllister poses, if anything the former Interwire Champion should be wary of the threat that he must compete against! Now McAllister with A THIRD CHOP across Armstrong’s chest as the red can be seen beginning to swell up on the chest of the Future himself! He will need to find another way out of this predicament before the pressure begins undeniable to outmatch here! Rex is now keeping a hold of Armstrong with his arms around him… LOOKING FOR AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY!
Stew-O: Not quite! Armstrong is sending the elbows right down across Rex McAllister’s head as now Rex is forced to let go for the moment! Armstrong proceeds to hammerfists sprawling upon Armstrong without a second thought, as it seems he has gotten himself into quite the rhythm that is hard to break! Now Drake is proceeding to irish whip Rex toward the ropes as McAllister is sent into the ropes, now rebounding back toward Armstrong as his opponent’s got a BIG BOOT WITH HIS NAME ON IT—
Jake Mercer: REX DUCKS UNDER AND BEHIND DRAKE—AS HE GETS HIS ARMS WRAPPED AROUND ARMSTRONG AND NAILS THE GERMAN SUPLEX!! Armstrong was sent sprawling right onto the back of his own neck! But Rex isn’t letting go!!! He holds onto the waist of Armstrong as he is able to bring him back up… WITH THE SECOND GERMAN SUPLEX FOLLOWING!! This isn’t looking good for Drake, I believe he’s gonna end up suffering through the rest of this match with how adamant Rex has become! Bringing him back… ONE MORE!
Flannery McCoy: Oh c’mon! Drake’s got a hold of the ropes!!!! Rex is trying to commit to the third german suplex, but Drake is refusing to let that happen as he’s desperately holding onto the ropes! The referee is forced to count down as he’s now trying to make Rex break this hold! The referee is making it to four now… with McAllister finally letting go, as he leaves his hands raised upwards to signal that he’s backing off. Almost had him there, but now Rex is heading back over to Drake while he’s still vulnerable to further attack—
Stew-O: DRAKE YANKS REX DIRECTLY INTO THE ROPES NECK FIRST!! McAllister was just pulled into the ropes without a second thought, as he’s now coughing up the storm while Drake is recollecting himself for the time being! Armstrong using the environment to his very advantage here, as now Drake’s able to bring himself back up to his own two feet while Rex is stumbling upward as well… ABLE TO HOIST MCALLISTER OFF THE MAT & PLANT HIM BACK DOWN WITH THE SPINEBUSTER!!! THE COVER FOLLOWS UP!!!
ONEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOO—
Jake Mercer: Rex McAllister kicks out, surely he’s got a lot more in the tank than what Drake would’ve hoped to avoid, but the Future is always gonna be sure to have a plan in motion no matter the circumstance! Now Armstrong is situating himself right over Rex, as he’s sending the rights and lefts across McAllister in flurries while Rex is doing what he can to block these punches! McAllister eventually brings himself back up, with a grip of Rex’s hair as he’s dragging him over to the bottom rope while the referee is scolding him for doing so! Now Drake is setting Rex’s neck right over the bottom rope, and he’s pressing all of his weight onto his upper back!!!
Flannery McCoy: Such dirty tactics from Drake Armstrong are not so foreign to him, as he’s trying to use his environment as much as he can to have this advantage over Rex McAllister! The ropes are aiding him while he is situating all of his body weight over Rex, with the referee counting down as Drake is trying to use up every single second that he possibly can! Before the count of five… Drake finally gets off of McAllister! Rex is seemingly coughing up some more as he’s dragging himself over to the corner! Armstrong has been able to maintain this much momentum as he does, and he doesn’t seem to be letting up… as he’s now rushing toward Rex McAllister with an elbow—
Stew-O: REX WITH A BOOT THAT CATCHES DRAKE OFF GUARD! Armstrong is warded off for the moment as Rex would bring up the sudden boot to stop Armstrong from employing any further damage while he can recuperate with this extra time! Now Armstrong is rushing back toward McAllister—BUT REX TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A BICYCLE KICK THAT KNOCKS DRAKE OFF OF HIS OWN FEET! Now McAllister is looking to bounce back & bring himself back into a far better edge for this match to turn to his favor! Drake is clutching his own jaw as he’s stumbling back up to his own feet once more, with Rex laying in wait for Armstrong!
Flannery McCoy: As McAllister’s now sending the forearms spiraling into Drake’s temple! Each forearm is becoming more & more of a struggle for Armstrong to counteract while Rex is mounting more offense with each strike that he takes! Drake is now being pushed against the ropes with a considerable hook that sends him backward against the ropes, but he’s holding onto these ropes with as much of his mind intact as he can sorely muster up! Now McAllister is rushing toward Drake with a surefire YAKUZA KI—BUT DRAKE’S SENDING REX RIGHT OVER THE TOP ROPE!!
Jake Mercer: But Armstrong needs to turn back around, ‘cause Rex McAllister held onto the top rope to prevent himself from collapsing onto the ringside floor!! Now McAllister is willing himself back up to a proper stance as he’s now standing on the apron, and Armstrong turns himself around in time to see this much! Drake decides to motion over toward Drake with a clothesline to hopefully take Rex down—BUT REX DUCKS THE CLOTHESLINE, FOLLOWING UP WITH A SUDDEN ENZIGURI THAT ROCKS DRAKE FOR A VERY GOOD MOMENT! Rex using his agility to keep Drake from placing any kind of pressure back on him while this match continues to take itself into quite the wind here!
Stew-O: With Armstrong being sent back quite a good amount here, now Rex has a great opportunity to make some even greater good on where Drake’s situated! Rex keeps himself properly placed over the apron just before leaping upward onto the top rope, as he may be looking for the SPRINGBOARD MISSILE DROPKICK—
Flannery McCoy: DRAKE SHOVES THE ROPES BEFORE REX COULD COMMIT TO THE MANEUVER!! McAllister collapses right onto the ropes as he’s now considerably dazed from how he collided back down onto the top rope!!! Drake groggily brings himself through the ropes as he’s now stood on the same apron as Rex McAllister is, with McAllister not being placed in the most perfect position here if he wants to recoup his energy in time for what’s next! Drake is able to perch his own body downward with a hold of McAllister’s legs.. hoisting him off from the apron SHORTLY BEFORE—
Jake Mercer: ALABAMA SLAM ONTO THE APRON!!! MY GOD!!! McAllister drops down to the ringside floor, and Drake eagerly shifts himself back into the ring & through the ropes without having to think twice! Drake is now looking upward to the referee, with his gaze essentially demanding the official to do his job and start counting down! The ref’ can’t do a damn thing about it, as he’s now counting down while Rex McAllister is laid out on the floor after the vicious slam onto the apron!!!
ONE!!!!
TWO!!!!!
THREE!!!!
FOUR!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Are we kidding??? Is Drake Armstrong really going to be satisfied with a countout victory over Rex McAllister? How will that feel good for Armstrong in any way when he couldn’t defeat Rex on his own proper accord??? The referee is gonna get closer to the ten count at this rate!
FIVE!!!!
SIX!!!!
Stew-O: Now hold on, Rex is showing quite the signs of life here! He’s got a firm grip over the barricade, now being able to slowly bring himself back up to his own two feet as the referee is counting down, but McAllister is beginning to find his footing while he can! Rex shakes off the pressure that he’s been dealt with as he’s now assuming a stance here! Drake is looking down upon McAllister from the ring as he’s surely feeling less confident about the chances of a countout victory tonight!
SEVEN!!!
EIGHT!!!
Jake Mercer: Rex is back up to his feet as—WHAT THE! DRAKE SLIDES OUT OF THE RING AND SHOVES REX MCALLISTER DIRECTLY INTO THE BARRICADE!!! Rex didn’t even see Drake coming from the ring and to the outside as Armstrong has now brought himself back into this fray, able to use all of the time that he did to recover just enough! Now Drake is quickly rushing Rex McAllister back into the ring, as McAllister is clutching onto his own midsection after being sent into the barricade without much avail from Drake!
Flannery McCoy: We shouldn’t be surprised that Drake would stoop to any lows he could! First he tries to take this match down the cheap route with a countout victory, and now not even allowing Rex any room to breathe and take himself back into the ring on his own accord! Now Rex is doing all that he can to keep himself mobile, which is proving to a much tougher feat every time as Drake refuses to slow down—AS HE DOESN’T WITH A VICIOUS LARIAT THAT TAKES REX MCALLISTER DOWN!!! The lariat is enough for Drake to hook Rex’s leg for the pinfall victory here!!!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOO!!!!
THR—
Stew-O: NOT ENOUGH! Rex McAllister refuses to keep himself down for the three, as Drake is now looking forward to the referee as he may be looking for answers as to how McAllister is still in this match! With Rex trying to bring himself up into a seated position, Drake’s vigorously shaking his head as he’s now focused back on Rex with immediate intent…
Jake Mercer: AS DRAKE ARMSTRONG APPLIES THE GUILLOTINE CHOKEHOLD!!! THE GUILLOTINE IS APPLIED!!!! The submission is keeping Rex McAllister suppressed at a lower level as he’s now struggling the fair ordeal here, but he’s making sure to wag his finger to signal to the referee that he’s not giving up! Rex is trying to maintain this much consciousness, but Drake Armstrong can very quickly tighten his grip around the neck of McAllister and turn this match into a guaranteed victory!
Flannery McCoy: I have to admit, Drake has done a remarkable job in assuring that he has control no matter the lengths he needs to go. But now Rex is also displaying quite the increíble fortitude in tonight’s main event! Rex McAllister is refusing to submit or lose his consciousness for any given moment here! Armstrong is shaking his head as he’s keeping the submission locked in with as much of his strength as he possibly can… BUT ARMSTRONG IS FINDING THE WILLPOWER TO SLOWLY RISE FROM THE MAT & UP TO HIS OWN TWO FEET! DRAKE IS STILL KEEPING THE GUILLOTINE CHOKE APPLIED TILL—
Stew-O: REX DRIVES ARMSTRONG DIRECTLY INTO THE TURNBUCKLE WITHOUT ANOTHER THOUGHT! Armstrong is now clutching onto his own lower back as he’s writhing in his own pain, the middle of the turnbuckle catching him directly onto the lower back while Rex has a hand on his own neck, trying to rebound while he can! Now Armstrong is slowly rising to his feet once more while Rex is also finding his own footing at the same time! A desperate Armstrong finds the will to SWING TOWARD REX—
Jake Mercer: BUT REX DUCKS THE SWING & KEEPS AN ARM AROUND DRAKE’S WAIST… AS HE HOISTS ARMSTRONG UPWARD & BACK DOWN WITH THE OLYMPIC SLAM!!! The olympic slam is a success as Rex now is able to hook the leg of Drake Armstrong without a moment to waste! The cover is made!!!!
ONEEEEEE!!!!!!
TWOOOOOOOO!!!!!
THR—
Flannery McCoy: NO! NOT ENOUGH! ARMSTRONG STAYS ALIVE!! Drake Armstrong may have been able to kick out, but that doesn’t mean Rex still can’t find all the more of his willpower to bring the victory toward him! This Dynasty can pan out remarkably well for one of these men tonight, which will surely be decided depending on how they are able to outmatch one another! Now Rex McAllister is back up to his feet as he’s grabbing a hold of Armstrong’s leg… AS HE MAY BE LOOKING FOR THE REX LOCK!!! BUT DRAKE TAKES NOTICE AS HE’S SQUIRMING TOWARD THE ROPES!! Armstrong is VERY aware that if the Rex Lock is applied he may have been given the end of this match!
Stew-O: As Drake clutches onto the bottom rope! The referee is forced to count in favor of Armstrong as Rex has no choice but to let go! While Drake’s returning back up to a knee with his hand still latched onto the rope, Rex is headed toward him looking to bring back into the fray—ARMSTRONG WITH A SUDDEN KICK TO THE KNEE OF REX MCALLISTER! McAllister reacts to the kick accordingly as he drops down to a knee as well!!!! Armstrong is working his way back up to his own feet as he brings himself around McAllister, not slowing himself down often to APPLY HIS NEXT MANEUVER!!
Jake Mercer: ‘BOURGEOIS BITE’ IS APPLIED! THE ABDOMINAL STRETCH IS MAKING THE LIFE OF REX MCALLISTER ALL THE MORE DIFFICULT AS THIS SUBMISSION IS APPLIED!! Drake Armstrong is making sure that Rex’s abdomen is being stretched outward as the pain must be immense, but this will need to be a testament of McAllister’s resilience if he wants to try & escape from this notorious submission by Armstrong… who is now applying the abdominal claw right upon his abdomen in the process!!!
Flannery McCoy: THIS ISN’T LOOKING GOOD FOR REX! IF THIS PERSISTS, DRAKE MAY HAVE GUARANTEED HIMSELF QUITE THE WIN HERE! Now Armstrong is wrenching his abdomen even further without a second thought! As this is now becoming more difficult for Rex McAllister to push through—
Stew-O: REX FINDS THE WILL TO ROLL ARMSTRONG OVER! DRAKE IS QUICKLY WORKING HIS WAY BACK UP TO HIS FEET HERE—BUT THE YAKUZA KICK CATCHES DRAKE ARMSTRONG OFF GUARD!!! The yakuza kick is enough to cause Armstrong to be rattled off his rocker here! This isn’t enough for anyone to go through if they’re looking to come right back around, as now Armstrong is looking to return back to a proper footing—
Jake Mercer: JUMPING HIGH KNEE FROM REX MCALLISTER CATCHES ARMSTRONG RIGHT ACROSS HIS JAW!!! Drake is being met with the most pressing of offense right now as Rex McAllister is applying all kinds of pressure tonight just to defeat Drake Armstrong & halt any of his momentum! McAllister needs to work diligently to return back to his world title chase, and this can be achieved if he’s able to knock off Drake Armstrong! Drake is back on wobbly legs, looking incredibly disoriented as there’s no telling where he may be from his own perspective… as Rex McAllister is gearing up for the next step in this match… REX EFFECT—
Stew-O: BIG BOOT FROM DRAKE ARMSTRONG!!! ARMSTRONG LEAVES REX DAZED AS MCALLISTER IS STUMBLING INTO THE ROPES! Now Rex is stumbling a bit as he’s moving forward and right toward Drake Armstrong as well, as Drake has McAllister where he’ll need his opponent as he’s now looking for this much… DRAKE PROCEEDS TO RUSH TOWARD REX WITH THE ‘HALBERD FROM HELL’!!!
Flannery McCoy: NO!!! REX WITH A DROP TOE HOLD BEFORE QUICKLY BRINGING HIMSELF OVER REX… WITH THE REX LOCK APPLIED!!!! THE REX LOCK IS HERE!!!! DRAKE ARMSTRONG IS TRYING TO REACH FOR THE ROPES, AS HE’S TRYING TO BRING HIMSELF CLOSER TO SALVATION OF HIS OWN—BUT THIS ISN’T PANNING OUT ALL TOO WELL!! REX MAY BE MOMENTS AWAY FROM BRINGING THIS MATCH TO AN EMPHATIC VICTORY BEING GIVEN TO HIM!
(The audience soon reacts with quite the reaction to a figure headed down the ramp, more negative than anything, as they now comfortably position themselves over the ropes, where the referee takes their full intention toward.)
Jake Mercer: Is that—IT IS! CY HENDERSON IS HERE! The main event from the previous Dynasty didn’t go so smoothly as himself & McAllister would have quite the disagreement! Now here he is, stood over the apron as the referee is motioning over to the Cyclone! With Rex taking note of this much, he has to get himself off of Drake and focus his attention on Cy! Henderson is becoming quite the unwanted detriment to Rex for the beginning of this season!
Stew-O: Rex can’t linger on Cy for long though, as now McAllister turns his attention back over to Drake Armstrong—A KICK FROM DRAKE DOWN TO MCALLISTER’S GROIN! ARMSTRONG MAKING THE MOST OF THE REFEREE BEING UNABLE TO SEE HIM NAIL THE KICK AS REX IS HURT! HE GETS REX BACK INTO POSITION… AS ‘DEATH PENALTY’ IS A SUCCESS!!!! REX IS SPIKED ONTO HIS OWN SKULL AS DRAKE LEAVES HIMSELF OVER MCALLISTER! THE REFEREE RUSHES BACK OVER FOR THE PIN!!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…. DRAAAAKE ARMSTRONG!!!
Flannery McCoy: Are you kidding me???? That’s how this match ends?!? Wow, this is seriously embarrassing on the behalf of Drake Armstrong. How can you be happy with the victory after what Cy Henderson essentially fed to you on a silver platter. Let alone, a man you have your own storied history with as a rival!
Jake Mercer: Drake Armstrong simply took advantage of the match at hand, and used all that he could to come out of this with his hand raised! You can’t deny that he has been producing some undeniably well executed victories, and this is another accolade in itself by beating the EAW Hall of Famer that Rex McAllister is!
Stew-O: Drake Armstrong is surely no stronger to his own dirty tactics, you could argue Rex McAllister had this match won with the Rex Lock, but Cy Henderson proved to become quite the assist for Armstrong tonight regardless of how this went down. Armstrong is successful, as we thank you for joining us tonight in Dynasty!
(‘Pride & Arrogance’ can be heard blaring throughout the speakers once more, as Drake Armstrong can only smirk to himself as his hand is raised by the referee. Cy remains at ringside, with his eyes directly on Rex with his own arms crossed, quite satisfied with how tonight’s match has gone, as McAllister gives Cy quite the disparaging glance for the show to fade out on.)
