(EAW intro plays.)
(As the scene fades in, we are met with an outside wide shot of the Aztec Stadium in Mexico City. We see the endless line of EAW fans, who begin to cheer and scream out of their minds at the sight of the cameras. Many shots are seen of fans buying their tickets and being able to make their way into the stadium for tonight’s show, before the camera would then begin to slowly fade out, and into an outside preshow panel that had Molly Waters, Max A Million, and Kyra Phillips all sitting at it, with smiles on their faces. Molly was getting final preparations and making sure that the microphones were working, as she would then begin to speak right to the camera.)
Molly Waters: Hello everybody, and WELCOME to the Road To Redemption 2023 kickoff show! I am Molly Waters sitting here at our kickoff panel, and I am joined by both Max A Million AND Kyra Phillips for what is going to be an incredible show we will have here tonight!
Max A Million: Fans are starting to fill the seats of the Aztec Stadium here in Mexico City, as across tonight and tomorrow night, we are going to witness some of the very best wrestling EAW to produce with the climax to many boiling rivalries, huge championship matches, tournament finals for the vacant Cash In The Vault briefcase and of course, you can’t forget, the Extreme Elimination Chamber matches that will be taking place, three world championships across the three brands and as well as the Specialist Championship all to be defended within that grueling structure that shortens many careers.
Kyra Phillips: Weeks upon weeks have been brewing towards this moment, tonight, Road To Redemption 2023. It is not only an ending climax to the first half of the season, but the start to the end of the year as we are to soon be heading into the new year of 2024. Many Elitists here tonight is going to be looking to make a statement, looking to send their messages and make it loud and clear, while others are going to be looking to claim championship gold, whether it would be their first ever taste of gold here in EAW or returning legends looking to reclaim what had once upon a time had been theirs. That is exactly what Road To Redemption has always been about; it is a true road to the finishing line of revenge, championship gold, legend and future Hall Of Fame status, and of course, redemption.
Molly Waters: With that being said; our very own kickoff show isn’t going to go without matches tonight, as we bring you competition BEFORE the main show. And with that now known, shall we send it down to the ring and bring us to our first match of the night?
Max A Million: That sounds great to me. Kyra, what about you?
Kyra Phillips: Perfect, let’s do it!
Molly Waters: Let’s take it down to them and to the action! And truthfully, welcome everybody to Road To Redemption! Let’s freaking do this!
(EAW Road To Redemption transitions from the commentary booth to a full-screen view of the crowd that has filled up Aztec Stadium preparing for the show. Everybody can be seen seated and preparing to watch the action unfold as the first match graphic flashes across the titantron causing the crowd to go ballistic at the sight of the opening contest.)

Gina Romano: Competitors in the ring will fight under irregular conditions wherein traditional rules and regulations are rendered null. In this contest, there are no rules. There are no count-outs. There are no disqualifications. Pinfalls and submissions are not applicable. The only way to win is through a competitor’s declaration of surrender or by knocking out your opponent.
( Lights flicker as the camera pans through the ring. 6-feet poles attached to the ring posts are wrapped with single chains hanging to various points on the ring with various weapons hanging. There are also sides of a steel cage surrounding the ring. )
(Suddenly, the lights all around the arena turned off for a few seconds, they all quickly turned on once more but all of the lights are completely red, the camera then turned towards the crowd and one of the entrances to the arena, as bright lights came out of the entrance and a silhouette slowly starts to walk through the entrance way, a calm and methodical step where it slowly stopped for a moment and looked around…)
(And almost immediately, ‘The Sharpest Lives’ by My Chemical Romance starts to play and the lights behind the silhouette turn off to reveal ARIA. A wicked and confident grin on her face as she shows off her outfit, a leather jacket, while also sporting her usual in-ring gear in black and white. The crowd cheers loudly as she finally makes her appearance, everyone very much behind her for the match that’s about to happen. ARIA stops for a moment to see a little girl reach out for a high-five right next to her. ARIA instead of going for it immediately, hesitates for a few seconds before taking the high five and then making her way through the crowd as she receives the love and adoration from the crowd more than usual.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!… FROM CHANDLER, ARIZONA!… WEIGHING IN AT 110 POUNDS!…. THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH!!!!!!!!!…. ARIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Did you see the way ARIA tortured my sweet glorious Japanese kawaii sensei senpai level 101 Queen Usagi Senshi!? Can you believe the audacity of that woman? I hope she loses tonigh– oh wait, hold on… her outfit looks great. You what— perhaps I judged her too harshly. And now that I’ve had the proper time to harp on it, I honestly have no idea who’s going to win tonight. This thing could go either way.
Deadprez: Dawg, are you good?
Eve: He needs serious help.
Gavin Kirkland: Guys, I’m just being me, you know? I see someone as beautiful as ARIA and the monster inside of me starts to awaken!! RAAHHHH!!!
Eve: ARIA has said to Usagi Senshi that she has created the monster, obviously not the same one that Gavin Kirkland has just mentioned. :dahell: But as it’s being said, everything has led to this competition where it becomes a match between Usagi Senshi and ARIA in Trip To Purgatory. As we heard the rules, this is going to be a show stealer for us all, and it’s going to be very exciting to see how brutal this match is going to end up being.
Deadprez: I’m telling you right now if you’ve pissed ARIA off, this is what you are going to get. And Usagi has just taken that step into the fiery pit of doom. She doesn’t know what kind of danger she has gotten herself into, yet with Devolution backing Usagi, and the dangerous Pandora Paisley ever present in Usagi Senshi’s ear, the same sentiments can be said for ARIA. She’s still undeniable. Both women are undeniable. This is surely going to be one hell of a match between former friends.
(As ‘The Sharpest Lives’ reaches its chorus, ARIA jumps over the barricade and looks all around her, taking in the atmosphere and showing she’s as ready as she ever could be to fight her former best friend. She rushes quickly to climb up one of the cage walls for a moment to show off towards the camera, riling up the crowd and then forming her signature finger gun as she drops down and walks towards a camera so she can be heard.)
ARIA: (off-mic) SAVE THE WORLD…. AT ALL COSTS!
( Aria finally settles in the ring, a focused look on her face as she makes her way to her respective corner, her eyes laser-focused on the entranceway as ‘ The Sharpest Lives’ fades out and is immediately replaced with ‘A Cruel Angels Thesis’ by Yoko Takahashi’. )
( The camera immediately transitions to the stage where we see Usagi Senshi makes her way from the back much to the dismay of the audience who immediately begin to shower her with boos at the sight of her arrival, but it doesn’t seem to phase Usagi in the slightest as she keeps her eye’s deadset on ARIA who’s already in the ring. Usagi has a methodical look on her face as she slowly paces down the entrance ramp taking her time and letting the reality of this match set in. )
Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT!… FROM FUKUOKA, JAPAN!… WEIGHING IN AT 115 POUNDS!… MASTER OF EXCELLENCE!!!!!!!!!…. UUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!…. SSSSSSSSEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!

Eve: Is it really for the best that we just let him speak?
Gavin Kirkland: Hey, come on, guys. What’s wrong? I mean, let’s have some fun. Tonight is supposed to be a fun night for everyone right? LET’S GET LIT!! Let’s stop acting so boring! Let’s turn up tonight!! :mjlit:
Eve: Handle him, Prez.
Gavin Kirkland: :whoa:
( Before Usagi makes her way into the ring she can be seen pulling on the cage wall surrounding the ring, checking the sturdiness of it, as ARIA can be seen in the ring mouthing words to Usagi, who has still not broken eye contact all the way down the ramp. Usagi eventually enters the ring as the camera pans back to the commentary booth for one final breakdown of the match. )
Eve: Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, there is Usagi Senshi, and we can see by the look on ARIA’s face that she has been waiting for this moment. Heck, we can see by the look on Usagi’s face that she’s been waiting for this moment too! Cutting back to Usagi, she surely has been preparing to tear her former best friend apart and make sure that the heart that ends up being broken tonight belongs to ARIA. Two former best friends are waging war on one another tonight. And by the end of tonight, we’re going to find out who wants to win this match the most. In a bitter rivalry that has been brewing for the better part of three months, tonight is the night we put all the guesses and speculations to rest. Tonight we crown an indefinite winner. Tonight is going to be the ultimate culmination of best friends turned bitter rivals.
(Usagi Senshi and ARIA stand face to face at the center of the ring, both audibly arguing and yelling at each other. The referee attempts to get in between them and separate the two women before a fight ensues and ruins the entire match. Both ARIA and Usagi Senshi reluctantly retreat to their respective corners readying themselves for the inevitable brutality that’s bound to ensue in a match like this. Both women take one last look around the ring eyeing the various weaponry and items surrounding it before their eyes inevitably meet with one another’s. )
(DING DING DING!)
Deadprez: AND IT’S USAGI SENSHI THAT WASTE ABSOLUTELY NO TIME AS SHE CHARGES AT HER ONCE BEST FRIEND ARIA KNOCKING HER BACK WITH AN ELBOW TO THE FACE. ARIA IS STAGGERED, BUT REMAINS ON HER FEET AS USAGI ONCE AGAIN TAKES A STEP BACK BEFORE CHARGING IN AT HER ONCE MORE! USAGI JUMPS UP AND CONNECTS WITH A FOREARM THAT SENDS ARIA TO THE CANVAS!
Eve: USAGI ISN’T LOOKING TO WASTE ANYTHING AS SHE RUSHES AT ARIA ON THE GROUND LIKE A WOMAN POSSESSED! ARIA HASN’T EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO FIND HER FOOTING AS USAGI IMMEDIATELY MOUNTS HER ON THE CANVAS AND BEGINS DELIVERING VICIOUS ELBOWS THAT ARE BARELY BEING BLOCKED!
Deadprez: ELBOW AFTER ELBOW! USAGI SENSHI ISN’T HOLDING A THING BACK AS ARIA DESPERATELY TRIES TO COVER UP! BUT IT DOESN’T MATTER TO USAGI IN THE SLIGHTEST AS SHE CONTINUES HER ONSALUGHT OPTING TO SWITCH FROM ELBOWS TO FOREARMS DOING EVERYTHING IN HER POWER TO SOFTEN UP HER FORMER BEST FRIEND.
Gavin Kirkland: I can’t really decide if I’d want to be in ARIA’s shoes right now. On the one hand you’ve got Usagi Senshi mounting you, I mean come on, who wouldn’t want that? But on the other hand, she’s beating the absolute crap out of you– which if we’re being honest is also a win now that I think about it. :mjlit:

Deadprez: ARIA IS FINALLY SHOWING SOME SIGNS OF LIFE BACK IN THE RING AS SHE USES HER LEGS TO WRAP AROUND THE BODY OF USAGI FORCING HER IN PLACE! ARIA TRIES TO USE THE STRENGTH IN HER LEGS TO FLIP USAGI OVER BUT USAGI MANAGES TO BRACE FOR THE REVERSAL, USING HER FREE ARM TO KEEP HER FROM LOSING HER BALANCE!
Eve: USAGI IS PRACTICALLY DEFENSELESS AS ARIA SWINGS A WILD RIGHT THAT CONNECTS FLUSH ON THE JAW OF USAGI SENSHI! ARIA FINALLY SHOWING SOME FIGHT AS SHE SWINGS AGAIN, THIS TIME THROWING A HAYMAKER TO THE FACE OF HER ONCE FORMER BEST FRIEND! AND THAT PUNCH MAY HAVE STUNNED USAGI AS YOU CAN SEE HER ARM BEGIN TO BUCKLE! SHE’S LOSING HER BALANCE AND ARIA NOTICES IT AS SHE TAKES INITIATIVE AND ONCE MORE TRIES TO FLIP USAGI OVER! DID SHE DO IT?!
Gavin Kirkland: SHE DOES! NOW THIS MATCH HAS PICKED UP AS IT’S ARIA ON THE OFFENSIVE AND USAGI WHO’S FORCED TO DEFEND HERSELF! ARIA HAS USAGI MOUNTED AND–

Eve: EVERYONE IN THIS ARENA IS CONFUSED, BUT IF YOU KNOW ARIA IT’S NOT THAT SHOCKING, SHE DOESN’T WANT TO BEAT USAGI AT HER OWN GAME. SHE WANTS TO OUTWRESTLE HER AND OUTMANEUVER HER ALL THE WAY THROUGH.
Gavin Kirkland: USAGI MAKES IT BACK TO A VERTICAL BASE AND ALMOST IMMEDIATELY ARIA GRABS HER BY HER WRIST AND WHIPS HER INTO THE CORNER! ARIA CHARGES IN ATTEMPTING TO SANDWICH USAGI BETWEEN HERSELF AND THE CORNER–
Deadprez: BUT USAGI HAS THE WHEREWITHAL TO MOVE HERSELF OUT OF THE WAY AS ARIA EATS THE TURNBUCKLE! ARIA MAY BE STUNNED HERE AS USAGI RUSHES FROM BEHIND AND WRAPS BOTH ARMS AROUND HER WAIST HOISTING HER UP AND DROPPING HER ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD WITH A PERFECT GERMAN SUPLEX!
Eve: ARIA IMMEDIATELY BEGINS FAVORING HER NECK, AS USAGI WALKS OVER TO THE CORNER AND BEGINS ASCENDING UP THE TURNBUCKLE BEFORE REACHING A BARBED WIRE KENDO STICK HANGING FROM A STEEL CHAIN ABOVE THE RING! USAGI RIPS THE KENDO STICK DOWN AND MAKES HER WAY BACK TOWARDS ARIA WHO’S ON ALL FOURS TRYING TO MAKE IT BACK TO A VERTICAL BASE! USAGI LIFTS THE KENDO STICK IN THE AIR–
Gavin Kirkland: AND BEGINS LETTING ARIA HAVE IT. SWINGING WILDLY AS THE BARBED WIRE BEGINS EATING AWAY AT THE FLESH ON THE BACK OF HER FORMER BEST FRIEND! ARIA LETS OUT A PAINED CRY AS USAGI CONTINUES SWINGING AWAY! USAGI IS TRYING TO PUNISH ARIA! SHE WANTS ARIA TO FEEL A FRACTION OF THE PAIN SHE’S FELT OVER THESE PAST FEW MONTHS! THAT IS WHY THIS THING HAS GOTTEN SO PERSONAL.
Deadprez: ARIA’S BACK IS BLOODIED AND BRUISED. IT LOOKS LIKE A CRIME SCENE. AND YOU’D THINK THAT THIS WOULD BE ENOUGH FOR USAGI BUT SHE DOESN’T EVEN SEEM REMOTELY SATISFIED, AS SHE THROWS THAT BARBED WIRE KENDO STICK AT ARIA AND BEGINS MAKING HER WAY TO ANOTHER CORNER, THIS ONE HAVING A STEEL CHAIR HANGING ABOVE IT. USAGI MANAGES TO RIP THIS ONE DOWN AND ALMOST INSTANTLY SHE MAKES A B-LINE FOR ARIA.
Deadprez: USAGI THINK THIS THROUGH, THIS WOMAN WAS ONCE YOUR BEST FRIEND IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO PUNISH HER LIKE THIS? ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO THROW AWAY YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP LIKE THIS?
Eve: USAGI STANDS OVER THE BLOODIED BACK OF ARIA WITH THAT STEEL CHAIR IN HAND AND PAUSES FOR A MOMENT AS ARIA PUTS HER HAND ON THE BOTTOM ROPE IN AN ATTEMPT TO PICK HERSELF OFF THE CANVAS AND JUST AS SHE DOES THIS–
Deadprez: USAGI DRILLS THE TOP OF THE CHAIR RIGHT INTO THE SPINE OF HER FORMER FRIEND! AND THE IMPACT OF THAT HIT COULD BE HEARD THROUGH THIS ENTIRE STADIUM! STEEL JUST MET BONE AND IT’S BAD ENOUGH THAT ARIA WAS ALREADY BRUTALIZED WITH THAT BARBEDWIRE KENDO STICK! NOW SHE’S BEING PICKED APART WITH THIS STEEL CHAIR AT THE HANDS OF SOMEONE SHE LOVED AND TRUSTED! USAGI SENSHI IS THE DEFINITION OF A WOMAN SCORN AS SHE DOESN’T THINK TWICE BEFORE LIFTING THAT STEEL CHAIR UP AGAIN AND DELIVERING IT ACROSS THE BACK OF ARIA WHO CRIES OUT IN PAIN AFTER THE CONNECTION OF EVERY BLOW!
Eve: USAGI SENSHI LIFTS THE CHAIR UP ONCE MORE AND SWINGS IT WILDLY AT THE BACK OF ARIA—
Gavin Kirkland: —THE SPEED IN WHICH USAGI WAS SWINGING THE CHAIR CAUSES IT SLIP OUT OF HER GRIP AND LAND BEHIND HER. USAGI WAS SWINGING THAT CHAIR LIKE A MADMAN, AND SHE OBVIOUSLY WORKED UP A SWEAT DOING SO AS THE CHAIR COMPLETELY FLEW OUT OF HER HANDS BEHIND HER. SHE QUICKLY TURNS TO GO RETRIEVE IT, AND DOES AND SHE IMMEDIATELY TURNS AROUND TO CONTINUE HER ATTACK—
Deadprez: BARBEDWIRE KENDO STICK TO THE RIBS OF USAGI SENSHI
COURTESY OF ARIA! THAT SHOT IMMEDIATELY CAUSES USAGI SENSHI TO DROP THE STEEL CHAIR AND RETREAT AS ARIA USES THE TIP OF THE KENDO STICK AND THE ROPE TO FULLY BRING HERSELF BACK TO HER FEET, AND AS SOON AS SHE MAKES IT TO HER FEET SHE BEGINS SWINGING AT HER FORMER BEST FRIEND! ARIA LOOKING TO GET A MEASURE OF REVENGE AS SHE SWINGS THE KENDO STICK INTO THE RIBS OF USAGI SENSHI, AND THE ARMS! ARIA IS FED UP AND SHE’S LETTING USAGI HAVE IT!
Eve: ARIA HASN’T STOPPED SWINGING THAT KENDO STICK AS SHE RUTHLESSLY LANDS HITS TO THE RIBS, TORSO, ARMS, HANDS, EVEN THE THIGHS OF USAGI SENSHI WHO FALLS TO A KNEE!
Gavin Kirkland: THE TIDE OF THIS MATCH JUST TURNED SEEMINGLY ON THE FLIP OF A DIME! USAGI WAS DOMINATING THIS MATCH AND IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE ARIA TURNED THINGS AROUND.
Deadprez: YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN AS ARIA TAKES THAT KENDO STICK AND WINDS UP CONNECTING WITH THE OTHER KNEE OF USAGI SENSHI, THE BLOW CAUSING USAGI TO FALL COMPLETELY TO THE CANVAS ON BOTH KNEES! USAGI HAS BLOOD TRICKLING FROM HER ARMS, RIBS, AND THIGHS, THERE ARE EVEN SOME SMALL LACERATIONS ON THE PALMS OF HER HANDS FROM HER TRYING TO CATCH THE KENDO STICK MID-SWING.
Eve: USAGI SENSHI IS DEFENSELESS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AS ARIA WALKS UP TO HER. ARIA KNOWS USAGI DOESN’T HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON, AND SHE IMMEDIATELY POINTS THE KENDO STICK TO THE HEAD OF USAGI SENSHI.
(Realizing she’s helpless and virtually out of tricks, Usagi Senshi holds her hands out for her once former best friend. )
Usagi Senshi: (off-mic) ARIA… I-
Deadprez: AND ARIA DOESN’T EVEN LET USAGI SPEAK, INSTEAD SWINGING THAT KENDO STICK ACROSS HER HEAD! USAGI DROPS TO ALL FOURS, AND NOW ARIA BEGINS TO REPEATEDLY HIT HER IN THE BACK WITH THE KENDO STICK, OVER AND OVER AGAIN AS THE KENDO STICK BEGINS TO BREAK!
Gavin Kirkland: USAGI TRIES TO PULL HERSELF AWAY, BUT ARIA TOSSES THE KENDO STICK TO THE SIDE AND BEGINS TO PUNCH AWAY AT HER FORMER FRIEND! USAGI WAS TRYING TO SPEAK TO HER, BUT ARIA DIDN’T EVEN WANT TO LISTEN! SHE DIDN’T EVEN GIVE HER A CHANCE!
Eve: OF COURSE SHE DIDN’T! USAGI HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH CHANCES, AND ARIA’S NOT GONNA KEEP TRYING TO SAVE SOMEONE THAT OBVIOUSLY DOESN’T WANT TO BE SAVED! ARIA now with a knee to Usagi’s midsection, AND SHE BEGINS TO REPEATEDLY ELBOW USAGI BEFORE THROWING HER OVER TOWARDS THE CAGE! Usagi Senshi is helpless right now, and I think her actions are actually coming back to haunt her! She brought all this out of ARIA, forcing ARIA to give up on her own former friend! It’s her own fault that ARIA wouldn’t even try to hear her out! Now the consequences of her actions might just cost her this match, and leave her in a world of pain!
Deadprez: ARIA now walking over to Usagi, and it’s pretty clear by now that she’s in full control of this match. She is tearing Usagi apart, and she-
( SMACK!!! )
Deadprez: WAIT!! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!
Eve: THAT SNAKE USAGI SENSHI JUST PLAYED ARIA! SHE GRABBED THAT TRASHCAN LID FROM THE CAGE WALL WHILE ARIA HAD HER GUARD DOWN AND NEARLY KNOCKED HER HEAD OFF WITH A SPINNING BACKFIST MANEUVER!! ARIA HIT THE CANVAS LIKE A BAG OF ROCKS, I WOULDN’T BE SURPRISED IF SHE HAS A CONCUSSION RIGHT NOW. ARIA WAS IN CONTROL, BUT USAGI MAY HAVE BEEN PLAYING POSSUM!!! SHE FOUND HER WAY OVER TO THAT LID, AND USED IT TO HER ADVANTAGE!
Gavin Kirkland: Are you guys going to make me be the one to say it? These two have been at each other’s necks for the better part of two maybe three months. That’s not even mentioning al the time they spent as friends! If anyone should’ve known what Usagi is capable of it’s ARIA, but somehow she didn’t expect that Usagi had something up her sleeve! I guess this is what’s to be expected from a blonde.
Eve: OH COME ON, YOU KNOW THAT’S NOT FAIR. THIS ISN’T THE SAME USAGI THAT ARIA HAS KNOWN FOR SO LONG. USAGI CHANGED, AND IN THE PROCESS SHE’S FORCED A NEW LEVEL OF ANGER OUT OF ARIA. ARIA NEVER WANTED THINGS TO RESORT TO THIS, AND USAGI KNOWS THAT, AND MAY HAVE USED THAT TO HER ADVANTAGE JUST NOW AS ARIA WAS BLINDED BY HER ANGER! Deadprez: RIGHT INTO USAGI, WHO POPS ARIA UP ONTO THE CAGE WALL!!! ARIA IS ON THE TOP ROPE HANGING ONTO THE CAGE WALL, AND NOW USAGI SENSHI BEGINS RUNNING THE ROPES BEFORE- OH MY GOD!!!! WHAT A MOVE BY USAGI SENSHI!!!!!
( Usagi runs the ropes before jumping right into ARIA, colliding with her on the cage wall. Because of this, the wall itself breaks apart falling outward taking both Usagi Senshi and ARIA with it as both Elitists take a scary tumble out of the ring with practically nothing in place to break their fall. As both Elitists land, they instantly go motionless as the crowd begins to cheer at the sheer carnage that has ensued.)
Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
( The referee quickly rushes over to check on both competitors looking to see if either is incapacitated, only to discover that both elitists are out cold. )
Deadprez: IS THIS GOING TO BE A NO CONTEST?!
Eve: ?!?!

( The referee checks attentively on both Usagi and ARIA, checking their pulse and breathing, attempting to reach one or the other, before standing up and looking towards the bell-keeper. )
Referee: OKAY THAT’S IT, RING THE BEL–

( Just before the referee can call for the bell, someone faintly begins tapping on his shoe indicating that she is still conscious.)

Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN HERE IS YOUR WINNER….USAGI!!!! SENSHI!!
( ‘ A Cruel Angel’s Thesis ’ by Yoko Takahashi begins to play throughout the stadium as the crowd begins to boo uncontrollably as the referee raises Usagi Senshi’s hand as she lies motionless atop the destroyed cage wall that once surrounded the ring. )
Deadprez: To say that, that match could have gone either way feels like an understatement and a major disservice to the resilience and determination both of these talented elitists showcased here tonight. There were various moments throughout when both of them looked as if they were headed towards victory.
Eve: That’s true, although in the end a very good argument could be made that ARIA had this match in hand until Pandora Paisley interfered. One could argue that if Pandora had never intervened ARIA would be standing here as the victor tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: Oh come on. We got to see not one, not two, but THREE smoking hot babes in the opening contest. We all won. Every single one of us! Especially me– I mean.. the audience. :mjgrin:
Eve: Right. :francis: Well regardless of the circumstance surrounding the win or not, tonight belongs to Usagi Senshi who was taken to her absolute limit by an elitist she once considered her best friend. These two fought tooth and nail and left everything they had in the ring, and regardless of the result, no one has anything to be ashamed of after a performance like that!
( The camera pans to ringside where we see Pandora Paisley assist Usagi Senshi up the ramp and to the back as the crowd continues to boo them as they exist. )
( The last shot is of ARIA sitting against the barricade bloodied and bruised. She can barely even move after that match, but regardless of her injuries she decides to try and stand up of her own volition, refusing medical assistance as the crowd cheers her on as she gingerly makes her way up the ramp. She takes one final look at the crowd who give her a standing ovation, before exiting to the back. )
( Road To Redemption fades back to the panel, where Molly Waters, Max A Million and Kyra Phillips are seen following the opening match.)
Molly Waters: What a match. Things have gotten beyond personal with Usagi Senshi and ARIA, though that’s been a theme with some of the matches on this show, hasn’t it?
Max A Million: That’s right. There are multiple matches on this show where there’s not exactly a major opportunity on the line. Instead, personal issues are beyond resolved, one way or another. This match was just one of them, but coming up we have Milli Banks versus Ms. Extreme, Joso versus Chris Elite, Dr. Bethany Blue versus Harper Lee, Cy Henderson versus Drake Armstrong and we even have a returning Raven Roberts teaming up with Madison Kaline to take on the British Invasion!
Kyra Phillips: Raven Roberts returning to the ring is definitely something to look forward to. It’s been a while since the former Universal Women’s Champion has competed, but this just goes to show how big of an event this year’s Road to Redemption really is!
Molly Waters: This is definitely a stacked show, and coming up next we actually have another match where, much like that tag team match Max mentioned, we’ll be seeing some unlikely partnerships.
Max A Million: That’s right. This is a match that’s been building for the last few weeks, and I for one am interested in seeing how these Elitists plan to work together.

(“Creatures X: To The Grave” by Motionless In White fills the arena. Delilah Rose makes her way out to the stage as she stops there and looks behind her to the gorilla position. ‘Living Dead Girl’ by Rob Zombie would fade in instead as Caroline makes her way to the stage next. “Brooklyn The Hole” by Miku Sakai herself fades and she follows the other two onto the stage. Lastly, ‘Rhapsody in Pink’ by Stela Cole fades in, welcoming the final member of the team onto the stage. Candice Blair makes her way to the stage, her attire being based on The Little Mermaid. They all make their way towards the ring, seemingly having no team coordination, and also annoyed that it wasn’t their theme song playing.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first… The team of Candice Blair, Caroline, Delilah Rose and Miku Sakai… TEAM SHOWDOOOOOWWWWWWNNNNNN!
(“I Rise” by Cory Marks fades in after Team Showdown enters, as Donovan Duke enters to the stage, already having way more energy than the other team. He patiently waits on the stage as “21st CENTURY BITCH” by Holy Wars fades in, as Mia Santoro makes her way to the stage and stands next to Duke. And lastly, ‘Zombie’ by The Cranberries fades in as both members of NICHOLISM make their way to the stage. At a first look, this team was on the same page. They all sported matching colors to show they were a unit. NICHOLISM, Mia and Duke all shared fistbumps before making their way down to the ring.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing second… The team of Alex Myers, The Ruler Of Everything, Donovan Duke and Mia Santoro… TEAM VOLTAAAAGGGEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Gavin Kirkland: And this match starts off hot right now, as Delilah Rose and Alex Myers start it out for their respective teams. Both of them spring right into action, wasting no time to start this off with a standard elbow and collar tie-up. A struggle between the two that seems to have no clear advantage for either. It’s going to have to be broken up with something else as Alex pulls Rose in for a headbutt, stunning her. They follow it up by holding on and throwing a second one, this time making Delilah drop to a knee. Now Myers lets go of her and steps back to throw a rounding body kick!
Persephone: But it gets caught by Delilah, who stands back up whilst holding on to their leg, throwing an elbow downwards onto Alex’ knee. Myers however, tries to retaliate and go high with a roundhouse kick anyway, but Rose again strikes their knee in the process, this time with her fist balled together in a double ax handle. Delilah now grabs them and pulls them in for a textbook side headlock, slowing down the offense to cut down the stamina of an enigmatic wrestler like Alex Myers. No dopamine for us. But they seem to have an idea, starting to walk backwards towards the ropes, close to their own corner. And whilst Delilah get bounced off the ropes—

Eve: Here comes Ruler, the Nicholism together in the ring! Alex near the ropes and Ruler speeding over to the other side to catch Delilah in time and lift her up into a flapjack so Myers can catch her with a flatliner! What great chemistry shown by these two. If there was going to be great tag team chemistry in this match, it was going to be these two! Alex makes their way to the apron while Ruler grabs Rose and turns her onto her back to go for the cover after that combination move!
OOOONNEEEE!

Persephone : But Delilah kicks out at one and a half, still fresh in this match and not looking to give up any time soon! Rose reaches towards her corner, as all of her partners offer the tag. She starts crawling but Ruler intercepts it and pulls her back to the middle of the ring where he grabs her foot and twists it into an ankle lock. Delilah reaches for the ropes but Ruler isn’t letting her go anywhere, but Rose seems to have found an escape, rolling over and getting a hold of Ruler’s leg, making him faceplant on the mat! But she doesn’t end it there, holding onto that leg, now putting him into and STF.
Gavin Kirkland: Quick switch-up by Delilah, turning a bad situation into a good one, but Ruler manages to crawl just close enough to the ropes to grab them before Rose can stop him. Now the referee counts to five, but she’s not letting go until the count reaches four. She rolls off him, Ruler slowly making his way to his feet using the same ropes he forced the rope break with but as he turns around, he gets stunned by a Superkick! Now Delilah grabs the back of his head and drags him over to her corner and smashes his head into the turnbuckle!

Eve: Caroline tagged herself in, Delilah Rose not pleased by that but keeps the common goal in mind for now, and grabs Ruler and wrenches his arm, extending it out as her partner climbs to the top rope and leaps off the top turnbuckle and delivers a deadly double foot stomp the arm of her opponent! That athleticism she’s known for being put to good use. Ruler starts to walk over to his own corner but Caroline doesn’t allow that, pulling him right back into a forearm smash. She follows that up with another one trying to back Ruler into the corner but as they approach it, suddenly, Caroline is grabbed and tossed into it herself! He primes up to hit a middle kick in the corner!
Gavin Kirkland: But Ruler misses and hits the turnbuckle, as Caroline manages to slip through the ropes and get onto the apron to avoid impact. That was very beautifully done by an equally beautiful woman…
Eve: Contain yourself.
Gavin Kirkland: Anyhow, he stumbled over to a more central position in the ring, perfect setup for his opponent to line him up to use the for a massive springboard uppercut! Ruler is taken down and Caroline scurries into the cover, looking to end it here!
OOONNNEEE!

Eve: But right before the count of 2, Ruler kicks out the move and stays in it for the team. He tries to start crawling toward his corner to tag someone in but Caroline isn’t going to allow that to happen, running up to him and stomping on the arm reaching out! She grabs him but Ruler starts pushing her backwards into her own corner before falling to his knees

Persephone : And here comes Candice Blair! Caroline looks up at Blair with disgust on her face. Candice just smiles at her and goes to grab Ruler, but he throws a backwards elbow to the side of Blar’s head to stun her. Caroline shakes her head and just makes her way back onto the apron, allowing the advantage to stay with Voltage as Ruler now lifts a knee into the face of Blair that makes her drop to a knee. He grabs her by the head and walks over to his corner as he reaches out to finally tag himself out.
(TAG!)
Eve: Now Mia Santoro is the legal competitor for Voltage, Ruler sending a quick kick to the stomach of Candice before Mia walks towards her while she is still recovering as she hooks her head and plants her onto the mat with a quick snap suplex! She gets back up and grabs her opponent going over to a free corner before starting to stomp away at the chest area of Blair. The referee starts his count but at the count of 3, Candice manages to catch one of the kicks! She pulls her in and turns her around to get right into position to toss her to the middle of the ring with an exploder suplex. Candice however, also stays floored for the moment to catch a breath.
Gavin Kirkland: They both start to get up at the same time, Mia taking advantage from being the more fresh member and runs up to Blair looking to hit her in the side of the head with a step-up enzuigiri! But she lands on the floor with nobody hit as Candice ducked under the kick and now grabs her from behind and pulls her up, hooking both her arms as she looks for a dragon suplex, but Santoro fights back. She manages to get free from the move, throwing a forearm to the jaw of Blair. Bat as she moves back in for another strike, a sudden headbutt drops her to her knees! She could headbutt me anyday.
Eve: That’s disgusting.
Persephone: While Eve is losing her patience with Kirkland, Blair pulls in her opponent and grabs her around the waist after hooking her arm over her head. She’s going to toss her overhead and make her land on the upper back with a Saito Suplex! Mia rolls into the middle of the ring, holding her neck as Candice moves back in and grabs her hand while using her leg to push her onto her stomach. She then plants her knee on her shoulder blade to keep her in that position. She pulls her arm high up above her and starts bending her fingers.
Eve: Brutality on display right here! And now to finish off the pain, grabbing a hold of the wrist before Candice drops backwards and tries to snap Mia’s arm in the process. And it works as she rolls away towards the corner afterwards, holding her arm in pain. Candice Blair gets up and looks at her opponent in the corner and starts to speed up in her direction. She looks to catch her with a massive Running Uppercut in the corner!
Gavin Kirkland: NO! Candice crashes into the corner as Mia evades the massive move! That shook her up real well if you know what I—
Eve: Don’t even dare finish that sentence. I will slap you.
Gavin Kirkland: Chill out! Mia now has Candice in the trapped corner. Lucky. But she uses it to grab her wrist and uses an Irish whip to make her bounce off the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. Blair now comes off the rebound and Santoro manages to turn that right into a Dropkick to floor her opponent! Mia is slowly making her way back up to her feet whilst Blair rolls over to her corner to escape.

Eve: And here comes the final member, Miku Sakai! She looks to—

Persephone: Delilah Rose tagging herself in right after. Sakai was hyped up to finally have her chance to get into this match but Delilah Rose wanted to get some fight for herself. Talk about being petty.
Eve: Well it seems to be backfiring right now because Santoro has gotten to her own corner!
(TAG!)
Eve: AND HERE COMES DONOVAN DUKE! He runs right up to the distracted Miku Sakai and grabs her for a massive German Suplex! He kips right back up as Delilah runs at him trying to take him down but he grabs her and tosses her overhead with a Belly-To-Belly Suplex! He turns towards the two suplexed opponents as he’s hyped up. But wait, Blair from behind with a double ax handle to the back! She grabs him and— NO! Donovan with a Northern Lights Suplex toss out of nowhere!
Gavin Kirkland: Sakai comes running back in but a clothesline gets her down! But she is back on her feet quickly, only to be dropped by another clothesline! She gets up and runs in one last time, but Donovan grabs her and tosses her to the outside with a belly-to-belly suplex! Now Duke looks to turn around but there is Delilah with a massive running bicycle kick to sandwich him in between the ropes and her foot!
Persephone: Now she grabs Duke from behind and sends him flying backwards with a German suplex of her own. I don’t think you want to go suplex for suplex with Donovan however because he rolls back to his feet and as Rose moves in to take him down with a right hand, he is able to duck it and plant her with a German suplex of his own! Now Duke is dragging Rose to the center of the ring to grab her arm for a Fujiwara Armbar!
Eve: Rose fights to get to the ropes, but the Fujiwara Armbar is in too deep and she seems to have nowhere to go. Duke wants to make sure that she either taps or her arm is messed up for the rest of the match. But now Rose, find a way out as she plants her knees and rolls over forwards to get out of the hold as she stumbles to her feet and ends in her own corner whilst Donovan is still in the middle of the ring, getting to his feet.

Persephone: And now Caroline tags herself back in and enters the ring as she runs up to Donovan Duke and makes him flip over with a Hurricanrana! Duke is sent flying as he rolls to the outside on the stage side of the ring, close to his own corner. Caroline sees this and she looks to use her acrobatics to take down Donovan as she runs towards the ropes, running back right after as she looks for a suicide dive but WAIT! Ruler gets in the way! He stops the suicide dive attempt from Caroline!
Gavin Kirkland: How dare he stop such elegance from happening in front of us? Well, Caroline is thinking the same thing as me. She is not happy with that and neither am I. But wait! She has an idea as she runs up to Ruler and jumps over the ropes and wraps her legs around his head and sends him off the apron with a hurricanrana and uses that to send him diving straight into Donovan Duke! Both of them were taken down! Absolutely stunning, Caroline!
Eve: I hope that was referring to the hurricanrana because that was a very smart play on her part, as she now takes advantage of it by rolling Duke right back into the ring as she gets onto the apron. She springs onto the ropes as she springboards towards Duke and hits him with a leg drop across his chest! She quickly turns onto her back and hooks his leg for the cover!
OOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Gavin Kirkland: But a kick out from Donovan Duke! If that was me, I would have taken that—
(A slapping noise is heard through Gavin’s microphone.)
Eve: Don’t say I didn’t warn you earlier.
Persephone: Meanwhile, Caroline picks up Donovan Duke and tries to get him in position for ‘A Song Of Fire And Ice’ but Duke starts sending punches to her gut to stop her from priming up the move. But Caroline holds onto that Headlock, looking to turn that into that finishing move yet again, but this time it backfires even worse, because she suddenly gets lifted up from the floor and planted backfirst into the canvas with a Belly-To-Back suplex by Duke.
Gavin Kirkland: Caroline slowly getting up, as is Donovan Duke. He stares at his opponent, who has her back turned towards him. He runs past her and handsprings into the ropes and looks to bounce back and hits a springboard handspring back elbow strike and he manages to floor Caroline with it! He scurries into the cover himself now!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!

Eve: And a kick out from Caroline. Duke slowly starts making his way over to the corner as he offers the tag to Ruler, who has gotten back onto the apron.
(TAG!)
Eve: And now Ruler enters the ring and Duke exits. Caroline crawling over to the ropes as she is still kneeling but that allows Ruler to run up for her and PLANT HER WITH ‘SPACE CADET’! THAT SIGNATURE HURRICANRANA DRIVER FROM RULER! He goes for the cover!
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!
TTTTWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THHHRRRR—
Persephone: But Delilah Rose makes the save, breaking up the pinfall. She rolls right back out to the apron as she doesn’t want to be caught in the crossfires. Caroline now starts crawling towards the corner and she sees Miku reach out for the tag but Candice is not paying attention at all. Ruler takes advantage of Caroline getting distracted because of it, pulling her by the leg. But Caroline gets back up to her one leg and knocks him down with an Enzuigiri!
Eve: And now she goes to the corner fast!
(TAG!)
Eve: Sakai finally getting her chance to be in this match after Delilah Rose stole her last chance, Caroline rolling to the outside to take a breather. Sakai runs at Ruler and hits him with a Dropkick! It sends him stumbling back into his own corner!
(TAG!)
Gavin Kirkland: Santoro tags herself in and runs straight at Sakai but they take each other down after both of them throw a clothesline. They get back up fast and again, both of them down because of a double clothesline! And now they run back at each other, both of them throwing dropkicks. They get back up and stare at each other knowing they were evenly matched right there.
Persephone: That seems to have made them enter a striking contest, blow after blow landing and Santoro comes out on top. She grabs Miku and walks to her own corner.
(TAG!)
Persephone: She tags in Myers! They enter the ring whilst Mia creates distance between them so they can team up and hit a bigger move. Santoro goes close to Miku’s corner, maybe a bit too close though.
(TAG!)
Eve: Delilah Rose manages to tag herself in but Santoro doesn’t see it. Alex points at Delilah, losing their focus as Sakai runs straight at him as Santoro still uses an Irish whip to send her in their direction! Alex is floored with a running blockbuster whilst Delilah grabs Mia from behind and tosses her to the outside!
Gavin Kirkland: Miku and Delilah stare at each other, I think Sakai wanted to finish the match but Delilah has Alex Myers in a precarious position, only Donovan Duke is still standing on the apron for team Voltage. Delilah goes to grab Myers and— NO! It was a distraction, Alex is isolated after she knocks Duke off the apron with a roundhouse kick! Myers is starting to get back up but as they go to strike Delilah, that attempt is answered with an enzuigiri to the face!
Persephone: The situation seems doomed for Voltage. Not a single member is still standing, Alex Myers is on their knees in the middle of the ring and Delilah Rose is eyeing the ropes with a smile. She starts speeding up towards the ropes, rebounding off them to hit Alex in the face with a SHINING WIZARD! THE SIGNATURE ‘KISS GOODNIGHT! AND WITH NOBODY BEING THERE TO BREAK IT UP, DELILAH GOES RIGHT INTO THE COVER!
OOOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEE!

Eve: Myers is not looking good right now, they just landed very badly but still managed to kick out of it. Delilah Rose doesn’t look happy with it whatsoever but I think that sentiment is shared with Miku. She gets onto the ropes and is screaming at Delilah to let someone better enter the ring! And instead of finishing it off right there, the shouting gets to her as she gets into the face, but far enough so she can’t tag her and— Alex is back up to their feet and runs up to her with a dropkick to the back of Delilah Rose! She’s sent into Sakai who flies off the apron!
Persephone: Oh my God. All this drama. You have it in the bag, they’re all alone, one big hit and it’s over…
Gavin Kirkland: Delilah turns around as Myers tries to hit her in the face with a right hand but she manages to catch it and fire one back! And another one for good measure! They stumble towards the center of the ring, and as they turn back to Delilah, she runs at them with a massive discus lariat to take them down! She gets back up to continue the assault but Sakai has other plans, shouting from the outside of the ring, mad at what just happened. And oh no, Delilah loses her focus and rolls out of the ring to get into her face!
Persephone: They couldn’t coexist. Shocker. If they just listened to what I just advised them to do… Delilah and Sakai are getting into a shouting match right now, and it looks like Candice Blair is trying to be the mediator right here. She gets in between the two women and says that there is a match to be won. She’s trying to rebuild the focus in the team so that they can at least win, even if the chemistry between them is not where it should be at all. But wait, Caroline may have something else to say. She’s saying the thing we were all thinking. Blair has been deliberately sending subliminal shots at Caroline this whole match!
Eve: But take a look inside the ring, Myers sees this all going down and starts hyping themselves up. They look at the fans who all start to get hyped up as well. Alex stands back up and points towards the group on the outside. They run towards the ropes to reach maximum momentum for them to bounce off them so they can run towards the shouting match on the outside. They take to the sky and turn their back mid air, a modified Senton Plancha of sorts taking out everybody! Listen to the clamoring from the crowd after that moment!
Gavin Kirkland: And now they grab Delilah and roll her into the ring. Alex slides in themselves and gets into the corner and waits for Rose to get up to her feet. They call for it as they go up to Rose and set up for it. Floatover Crucifix Driver position as they make her drop right into their knees for a lungblower! IT CONNECTS! THE ‘FINAL SYMPHONY’ CONNECTS! Delilah is out and Alex hooks her legs! At the same time, the Team Voltage members get into the ring to keep Showdown out!

The rest of the team enters the ring and surround Alex as they celebrate with their triumph. Team Voltage entered the match as a unit and it helped them pick up the victory, leading to their celebration in the ring. The opposite of team Showdown. All of them look at each other, mentally blaming everybody but themselves for the loss. The scene faded as the camera caught all the Showdown members annoyed whilst the Voltage members were on all the corners, celebrating towards the fans.)

Molly Waters: Well it looks like team Showdown was unable to get along, and in the end that cost them!
Max A Million: Moving forward we have some more interesting matches coming up. We mentioned some of the more personal matches on the card earlier, but that’s not all Road to Redemption has to offer. There will be a lot on the line at Road to Redemption! Theron Nikolas will defend the Interwire Championship against Ronan Malosi. Jon Kelton will put his National Elite Championship on the line against Veena Adams, and the Cash in the Vault briefcase will be won by either Charlie Marr or Shinzo Sasaki!
Kyra Phillips: We will also see the Unified Tag Team Championships on the line as the Jaded Hearts defend against La Familia, and this will be one of Kassidy Heart’s two matches at the event!
Molly Waters: That’s right. At Road to Redemption we will also be seeing a dream match, as Kassidy Heart will be defending her Universal Women’s Championship against the Iconic Cup winner, Minerva!

Tohru isn’t looking to let things go so easily and immediately knocks MITSU back to the ground with a sharp elbow smash across his jaw! KAI-ZEN is back riding high on Tohru, and the duo collaborates to eliminate MITSU! Cruz is now wriggling out of trouble, adeptly dodging some of Luis’s moves! Roque Santa Cruz seizes the moment and promptly slams Luis to the mat with a massive Uranage Slam!
Gavin Kirkland: Oh, look from behind! It’s Clayton Golde, my favorite streamer! He’s trying to send Cruz over the ropes and take him out of this match immediately, but Cruz is able to stop him by using his right foot to thrust against the middle rope, sending an elbow rebounding straight back into Golde’s face! Golde is stunned by the elbow, and now Cruz takes his turn to grab him, sending him over the ropes!
Persephone: Oh, what the fuck?! He’s gone!
Stew-O: Not yet! Clayton Golde manages to hang onto those ropes, and he’s on the apron! Cruz runs in to tackle him, but the shoulder tackle comes with authority, sliding through the ropes and connecting with Cruz, sending him flying back inside the ring. Golde seizes the ropes, looking to send himself flying off and lands the attack on Cruz with a Springboard Clothesline!

Stew-O: Golde says it’s not over yet, and he manages to land on the side to avoid the Uranage! He starts right off by blindfolding Tohru from behind, and now he’s able to keep Tohru down in the corner. Mig De Decker is trying to keep Hayley Morrow, who is attempting to strike him first, down, but Mig is caught in the middle with a gut kick driving straight to him. Gavin Kirkland: AIRI Evergarden has been repeatedly stomped to the ground by Brianna Hill, with Auburn Ware coming in to assist and make sure that they keep her down for a bit. Shifting focus to Mattias Burke, he’s doing everything in his playbook to bring down the youthful adversary such as Prince Tohru despite the relatively narrow age gap. The two emerging talents are exchanging blows, showing no signs of yielding! Tohru has established himself as the dominant force and deliver knee shots to Burke’s midsection to wear him down.
Gavin Kirkland: Burke drops to his knees, Tohru takes a step back, lining up a Jumping Thrust Kick! Burke sidesteps and evades the move just in the nick of time. Tohru finds himself kicking at thin air, and Burke gets back on his feet before launching an attack… LOOKING FOR A CUTTER! GO FOR IT, YOUNG MAN!

(‘Wano Kuni’ by Kohei Tanaha begins to blast through the speakers of the arena as an exhausted Prince Tohru makes his way toward the center of the ring. An exhausted expression on his face, the crowd gives a sour reaction as the KAI-ZEN member stands tall. Mig De Decker, who was previously in the match but now making his way back out, along with Ricky, both come out to celebrate Tohru’s triumphant victory. The two of them enter the ring and raise his hands.)
Bella Braxton: YOUR WINNER OF THE EXTREME ENIGMA BATTLE ROYAL… PRINCE TOHRU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: WOW! What an ending to a thrilling match! In the end it came down to the wire for both Prince Tohru and MITSU, the two of them having such history with one another, knowing the stakes that were on the line heading into an affair like this. Tohru was hoping to win this for the entirety of KAI-ZEN, and MITSU was looking to make sure that didn’t happen and that they would regret what he did to him. In the end though, his Imperial Highness ending up standing tall!
Persephone: Lame.
Stew-O: KAI-ZEN I’m sure is head over heels right now because of this, and knowing them they’re going to nail the point home that Road To Redemption is going to be their night, with Shinzo Sasaki competing in the Cash in The Vault tournament finals, that very well might be the case! Nonetheless, congratulations to Prince Tohru on the big victory!
(Tohru, Mig, and Ricky, all leave the ring, triumphant in their efforts tonight as the camera goes to Brianna Hill and MITSU who both look equally defeated at everything that has happened in this match. It’s the last shot seen before the camera fades away.)
