(EAW intro plays.)
(The camera opens up to a recap of the past two weeks, starting off with the preshow, where the 24/7 Battle Royale would be held. In the end Samael would win as he earned the 24/7 Contract. The recap would transition to the main show after this, as Terry Chambers would take on Limmy Monaghan in a losing effort as Limmy leaves Pain for Pride with a victory. Next up would be the New Era Classic finals, where in a fantastic match Joso defeats Harley Lewis to win the tournament. Former Dynasty Elitist Sierra would take part in a fatal four way against Lexi, ARIA and Veena Adams after this, but Veena would be the Elitist to pick up the victory. During this show Bob Chapek would reveal to HRDO that Disney has found a replacement for StarrStan, and for the foreseeable future Dynasty would be run by Tyrone Montgomery. Astraea Jordan and Sheridan Müller would face off on night two, however this match would surprisingly end in a no contest after neither woman was able to continue. Andrea Valentine would defend her Universal Women’s Championship against Kassidy Heart afterwards, successfully becoming the only World Champion to retain her title at Pain for Pride. In night three, Alex Myers, Aurora Monroe and Ruler would compete in a match for the New Breed Championship, which Alex retained. SOSA Henderson would approach Aurora backstage after seeing her reaction to the loss, allowing her to smoke with him. After this, Dr. Bethany Blue would defeat Caroline in a Medical Mayhem match. Immediately after that match would be the Cash in the Vault ladder match which featured SOSA Henderson and Jon Kelton for Dynasty, but ultimately Jake Smith would pick up the victory. In the Specialists Championship match Serenity Valdez would dethrone Ximena Velasquez, and in an Extreme Rules match Xander Payne would defeat Ronn Banks. In the main event of the entire show, Andre Walker would defeat the Visual Prophet, closing Pain for Pride with both the World Heavyweight Championship and Interwire Championship.)
(The recap then transitions to the Draft show, which was opened up by Tyrone Montgomery and Bob Chapek, who promises they’ll have things closely monitored and that things will be different this season before being interrupted. In the first match of the night Jon Kelton would represent Dynasty in a triple threat to secure the first draft pick, but Jack Ripley would win the match for Showdown. After the first rounds of draft picks Andre Walker and Albert Hitchman come out and cut a promo, sending an invitation to anyone that wants to face him just under a month away from Andre becoming the longest reigning Interwire Champion. Shockingly, nobody would answer this challenge. Ahead of being drafted, Sheridan Müller would wrestle her last match as a Dynasty Elitist for the year, defeating ARIA. Harley Lewis would compete on this show as well, facing Charlie Marr in a losing effort. On top of this, SOSA Henderson and Aurora Monroe would wrestle their first match as a team, defeating Jake Smith and Holly Arrow. As the draft picks continue Astraea Jordan would face Lexi not too long after learning that she was staying on Dynasty, and she’d leave the match with a victory. Serenity Valdez would also represent Dynasty in a triple threat match, this time taking part in a Champions Showcase triple threat as she defeated Donovan Duke and Alex Myers. In the final match of the night, Andre Walker would defeat the Answers World Champion, Impact.)
(The show opens to the fireworks display that starts around the stage, the rowdy crowd is on their feet as the cameras pan around the full arena! Excited fans, signs, and merchandise are all spotted on screen as the cameras continue to sweep around the sea of EAW fans trying to get noticed! ‘P.A.T.’ by Denzel Curry is heard blasting through the PA System as the fans cheer, and from there, the cameras then cutting down to the commentary table!)
Stew-O: Welcome everyone to the first edition of Friday Night Dynasty of Season 16! After an explosive Pain for Pride and Draft Show, we’re coming into the season ready to get things started on a high note as we bring to you the best action that EAW has to offer!
Jake Mercer: Of course, the season kicks off with the best show! 💅
Flannery McCoy: It’s called Friday Night Dynasty, of course it’s first :skip:
Jake Mercer: SEMANTICS! I’m Jake Mercer, and these two at the commentary table with me are Stew-O and Flannery McCoy, but I’ll be the best one at the job! That said, it’s my honor to give everyone just glimpse of what we’ve got coming tonight: Andre Walker kicking things after robbing Viz of another victory in the Pain for Pride main event; Amir Yusuf teaming with, get this, Ryan Wilson against Shane Gates and Nick Hart; Hall of Famer Madison Kaline taking on Caroline; and Andre versus Joso in the main event! But that’s not even everything to come tonight, as there’s so much more!
Flannery McCoy: We’re truly excited to get things underway here on Dynasty, and see what this new season has in store!
Stew-O: I’m sure it’ll be amazing as usual, but seeing it all unfold is going to be truly something to witness! And from what I’m hearing, we’re ready to get things started as we kick things off with the Interwire and NEW World Heavyweight Champion!
(“Leaving Caladan” by Hans Zimmer starts to play into the arena and the crowd rises into a mixed reaction as they spot the tron graphics and know from just only a few seconds into the music who’s coming out! The EAW Universe are on their feet as Andre Walker makes his way out with the Interwire Championship over one shoulder and the World Heavyweight Championship draped over the other, with Albert Hitchman applauding at his side. Andre’s spokesperson takes a few steps back away from Andre, who brings both Championships up over his head as they stop at the top of the isle!)
Stephie Love: PLEASE WELCOME TO THE RING AT THIS TIME, HE IS THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION AND WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION…. AAAANNNNDDDDRRRREEEE WAAAALLLLKKKKEEEERRRR!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: There’s truly not enough that could be said about what this man, Andre Walker, has accomplished this year with the way that he’s performed and taken himself into a whole other stratosphere! Since 2022 got underway, he’s continued to reign as the Interwire Champion since he won it last year in September, won this year’s King of Elite Tournament and called his shot for the Pain for Pride main event the moment he found himself with the chance to do so, and defeated The Visual Prophet to close out one of those highly anticipated Pain for Pride FPVs of all time!
Flannery McCoy: It’s even crazier when you put into the perspective of us only being halfway through 2022! Andre has obtained success that so many Elitists dream of having for themselves only to come up short, and now he’s undisputedly on top of things on Friday Night Dynasty as he holds both titles having successfully defended against The Visual Prophet in a history-making Winner Takes All Match!
Jake Mercer: Actually, I’ll dispute that! The Visual Prophet’s shoulders were up when the referee’s hand came down for that three-count but that somehow went overlooked-
Flannery McCoy: The Visual Prophet’s shoulders absolutely were not up :skip:
Jake Mercer: This isn’t the time to cover for Andre, Flannery! We need to do the right thing, get Viz the JUSTICE he deserves, and give him back the World Heavyweight-
Stew-O: If he wants it back, he’ll have to go looking for a rematch because his shoulders WERE down for the three count – not whatever nonsense you’re going on about where that wasn’t the case. With that said, not only did Andre make history by becoming the ONLY person in history to have a dual reign as Interwire and World Heavyweight Champion, but if he finds himself holding onto the Interwire Title past July 22 in just two weeks time, Andre will have made even MORE history by breaking the record for longest reign in the Championship’s existence!
Jake Mercer: FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY, STAND UP! ARE WE ABOUT TO LET THIS MAN HAVE EVERYTHING?! ARE WE JUST GONNA LET HIM RUN ROUGHSHOD OVER THE ENTIRE BRAND?!
Flannery McCoy: Are you gonna be the one to lead the charge then? Because he’s right there in the ring as we speak if you feel like doing something to lead by example :mjpls:!
Jake Mercer: Now you know I’m not a trained competitor! That’s why, in short, I absolutely WON’T be doing that :mjpls:!
Flannery McCoy: A convenient excuse :mjpls:
Stew-O: :mjlol:!!!
(Inside the ring, Andre lets Albert place the Interwire Championship securely around his waist after having gotten microphones for the both of them. Andre is left to stand there in the middle of the ring by himself for a moment before “Leaving Caladan” fades out, allowing Andre to raise his microphone and speak to address the EAW fans in the first opening moment of the season!)
Andre Walker: Don’t ever doubt me.
Andre Walker: From here on out, those are four words that every last one of you watching and everyone in the back thinking of challenging me for either my Champinoships need to take into account. It should’ve been known when I took on Xander Payne and how he came at me with all his returning momentum just for me to defeat him like I did, it should’ve been known when I defeated Scott Diamond, when I was doing all those things as the reigning 2022 King of Elite – but I know it was made clearer as we neared closer to Pain for Pride this year. Every passing week, there was discussion of how I was going to be the one making history, how it was Viz who would have to find a way to thwart ME instead of the other way around because of the tear I was on – and what all of you got to see was me claiming success that only I could’ve created. Success that has resulted in me standing here not only as the Interwire Champion here on Friday Night Dynasty now, but now as the reigning World Heavyweight Champion – the undisputed Champion of Friday Night Dynasty!
(Andre raises the World Heavyweight Championship and slowly makes a turn in the ring for the crowd to get a look at him with the Championships. He pats the front of the Interwire Championship as he completes the turn.)
Andre Walker: Former World Champions couldn’t do it – hell, a certified Hall of Famer couldn’t do it – but I did it. I beat The Visual Prophet in a match where it was quite honestly on him to show the world that I wasn’t as great as I am, as effective and as commanding as I’ve been, on the biggest stage of them all – and he just couldn’t do it but certainly not without trying. People will want to make it seem like I had to move the most unconquerable of mountains to get what I wanted, like I had to part the most treacherous waters that had somehow gone uncharted for me to able to stand on my own two feet – but what I really did was nothing more than showing all of you that I was always going to end up here. It’s that simple. Had I lost at Pain for Pride, I don’t doubt there’d be a line of people from the locker room licking their lips as they foam at the mouth for the chance to proclaim that I wasted my Championship opportunity or maybe that I was nothing more than overhyped talent who couldn’t cut it when it counted. No one can tell me I’m wrong, because I’ve been around long enough to know how far too many people love to play the game – all the same and hungrily waiting to exploit what they think is someone else’s insecurity, especially for someone operating on the levels that I am.
Andre Walker: But that’s just the thing: I’m on a whole other level compared to those kinds of people. It’s why I’ve been able to win the matches that I have, defeating the people that find themselves adding another tally to their loss column because of me – just ask Impact if you don’t believe me. A record-setting competitor, finally getting that tenth reign that eluded him, and it was me beating him at the Draft Show that people were talking about when it was all over because I’m setting records and making history myself. Be it the New Breed Title or what’s looking to be the Interwire Championship when I’m able to claim a second record in just a matter of weeks. I said it at the Draft and it’s worth repeating now: there’s no one doing it like me. ….But I’m not unwelcoming toward anyone who thinks that they can take a Championship from me – I’m all for embracing whatever the challenge someone thinks that they’re going to be for me, so that they can find out for themselves now that there’s not a thing that’s off the table when it comes to me getting what I want.
(There’s a smug look on Andre’s face as he looks down at the Interwire Championship around his waist and then to the World Heavyweight Championship that gleams under the lights.)
Andre Walker: I meant what I said at the Draft Show – it was an open invitation for someone, anyone to try their luck and stand in my way. Any way you try to slice it, I’m already undeniable. I’m already one of the best. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop elevating this legacy of mine even further into something even more untouchable, historic, more than just memorable. I’m game-changing. And anyone in the back is more than welcome to challenge me so that I can keep proving myself as one of the greatest Elitists of all time.
(It is quite literally just a few short seconds after Andre’s reassertion for a challenge, that “You Say Run <WHM>” by Yuki Hayashi comes blasting into the Movistar Arena to the sound of cheers! Limmy Monaghan makes his way out onto the stage, looking right down into the ring!)
Stew-O: This is definitely getting interesting, as Limmy Monaghan makes his arrival! Andre opened up Dynasty looking for a challenge, so if there’s anyone who could provide that, it’s Limmy!
Flannery McCoy: Limmy’s coming off a win over Terry Chambers at Pain for Pride this year, so now with the door wide open, Limmy’s looking to make an impact to kick off the season!
Stew-O: It’s certainly been some time since these two were last in a ring together here on Dynasty! But in more recent time, Limmy walks back onto Dynasty as a former Hardcore Champion having once defeated Adam Lucas for the Championship last season!
(Limmy enters the ring with a microphone, letting the music fade out before he starts to speak.)
Limmy Monaghan: I said that Season 16 was going to be mine and I’m not waiting for someone to tell me that it’s my time, because the way I see it, it’s my time right now. I’m not ashamed at all to be the first one coming out here and jumping at the chance presented because the route to get to what I want – that World Championship you’ve got – was going to have to be through you, and with Season 15 coming to a close, I’m ready to take the next step in becoming the World Champion that I know I can be.
Albert Hitchman: You finished Season 15 against a man who found himself surrounded by the questions of whether or not he was going to still be here after Pain for Pride, if he’d even have a career. Sure, you might’ve just finished off Terry Chambers – but you can’t really say that that made you ready for the challenge that Andre Walker is going to be, can you?
Limmy Monaghan: That’s not the point, far from it, actually. I’ve found myself tested in the ring against the likes of Kassidy Heart and TLA when they were reigning as Answers World Championships on Saturday Night Showdown last season, I was competing against and defeating Adam Lucas for the Hardcore Championship – and I’m more than motivated enough to finally take what I’m laying claim to right now. I’m not just going down as someone else’s defense early in their reign, I’m going to be the one who ended that reign – and it’s the World Heavyweight Championship that I’m going to take from you, Andre.
(Andre wears a smirk and nods his head listening to Limmy.)
Andre Walker: I appreciate you coming out here, really, Limmy, because if you’re just so sure that you can even come close to taking what’s mine, then I-
(But before Andre can continue, “O Fortuna” by Carl Orff interrupts the trio in the ring and all attention turns toward the stage as Madison Kaline makes her way out with a smug expression!)
Stew-O: This is definitely a surprise!
Flannery McCoy: I wasn’t expecting this but I think it definitely says something about how Madison is looking to start her season! Confident after her victory over Amber Keys at Pain for Pride, this Hall of Famer has her sights set on claiming new success!
(Madison enters the ring and Limmy looks her up and down, evidently annoyed with Madison moving in on the moment.)
Limmy Monaghan: I’m not sure if you noticed, but the challenge that just got put out? It’s already been accepted.
(Madison rolls her eyes with a laugh and shakes her head, sighing heavily into the microphone that she has brought with her.)
Madison Kaline: Well, Limmy, I don’t know if you know this or not but you’ll come to know really fast that I like to do what I want around here – and what I’m interested in doing now is taking this time to properly introduce myself to everyone this season. I’m Madison Kaline, the Mistress of Death, and your next World Heavyweight Champion because if there’s anyone who’s going to take it from Andre then it’s going to have to be someone like me.
Limmy Monaghan: And what makes you more qualified than me?
Albert Hitchman: As a matter of fact, I’d like to know why you think you could beat Andre Walker at all!
(Madison scoffs as he looks around at the men in the ring.)
Madison Kaline: I’m more than qualified not only as a competitor but as the only Hall of Famer standing in this ring! I know everyone these days likes to hype themselves up at the future of things around here, but I’m still very much the present and I’m not done making this return of mine as great as I know it can be. Limmy, you say you feel some type of way when it comes to having been just another defense for Kassidy Heart, but people seem to forget that if my focus and emotions hadn’t all been so thrown off by Amber when she stabbed in the back, then I could’ve very well defeated Kassidy at Battle of Egypt right along with the rest of those women! Believe me, defeating Amber Keys and letting her know what I’ve always been capable of was great, but I could’ve just as much been the woman defeating Andrea Valentine for the Universal Women’s Championship – and now I’m coming to collect on the chance to claim a World Title opportunity regardless of which it is!
Andre Walker: Well, Madison, I’m sure you’d love to get your hands on the World Heavyweight Championship but-
Limmy Monaghan: But you already lost to Andrea Valentine when you challenged her and I’m not sure why you think it would’ve been any different for you at Pain for Pride-
Madison Kaline: And you lost to Kassidy and TLA, as you said yourself, so maybe you shouldn’t be talking about whether or not I should be out here for this opportunity. Becoming a World Champion again was going to remain a goal for me coming into Season 16 and just because I lost one opportunity last season wasn’t going to make me back down from achieving that now. Besides, just think of how historic it would be for me, Madison Kaline, a Hall of Famer, former Women’s World Champion, to be the first woman to win the World Heavyweight Championship-
(Madison wouldn’t get the chance to complete her thought as it was her who now found herself being interrupted, this time by the sounds of ““A Stranger I Remain” by Metal Gear Rising! Madison is shouting at Amir off-mic as he makes his way out and Limmy shakes his head, while Andre and Albert stand watching on with amused grins.)
Stew-O: Formerly Saturday Night Showdown’s Amir Yusuf has been drafted to Friday Night Dynasty! He comes into Season 16 off a Pain for Pride loss to Jack Ripley, but clearly, he’s not looking to wait to kick the season off with a bang himself!
Flannery McCoy: Amir is a former New Breed Champion, an achievement he won last season when he defeated Ryan Wilson for the title, but upon losing it and the way the rest of the season went for Amir, it’s being said that he might’ve lost his way. Being here on Dynasty could be a great way to turn things around!
Jake Mercer: Amir could very well prove to be an unpredictable element to this whole equation here, because when you really think about it, he’s coming in with only everything to gain. How he plans to assert himself here though among what’s happening now, I’m not sure!
(Amir comes up the steps with a microphone and he looks back and forth between Limmy and Madison before setting his sights on Andre.)
Amir Yusuf: I’m coming into the first episode of Friday Night Dynasty taking on the likes of Shane Gates and Nick Hart in a tag team match alongside Ryan Wilson. I already made it clear during the week that this match… it’s just not gonna do for me. It’s disappointing, it’s beneath me, it’s…. not how I’m going to be able to put myself back on the map. I didn’t come into this season looking to just “get by” or just let opportunities like the one I’m hearing about now just pass without even giving it a thought. I’m coming into Season 16 wanting to show everyone what Amir Yusuf is all about now, that the decline people will say I’ve been on isn’t anything that I can’t turn around from by being better than everyone put up against me. Winning the World Heavyweight Championship? Well, I know that would definitely put the exclamation mark on things.
Limmy Monaghan: If you didn’t come into the season hoping to just “get by”, Amir, then you definitely expect to get yourself moved out the way. If you think anyone really has the patience to wait around and watch you fail against Andre just to come away from the whole thing about how you’ve “improved” or “made a statement” while Andre remains World Heavyweight Champion, then I just don’t think you understand why you’re not the guy for the job or why I’d let you take this from me. Watching you try to figure out what you want, who you are, in real-time against Andre as he picks you apart while I’m made to sit back knowing this could’ve been my shot at becoming a World Champion? Do that crap on someone else’s time instead of thinking it’s cute to come out here and waste mine when you know that this should be my time.
Amir Yusuf: It was supposed to be your time against Kassidy, it was supposed to be your time against TLA – I’m sure you’d come away from the match against Andre saying that it should’ve been your time, too, after he’s finished proving to you why it was never going to be.
Madison Kaline: You two can argue about who’s more of a failure than who some other time, preferably not when I’m out here trying to get a World Heavyweight Championship match! I spent enough time having to deal with someone else distracting me from my goals or someone trying to derail my chances to get what I want, and if you saw what I did to Amber then you know that I didn’t come to mess around. You think I care about what either of you wants when I should be the priority here knowing what I’m capable of? If Andre doesn’t want his first defense this season to be something forgettable right off the bat because it’ll have been against anyone out here who hasn’t proven they can win when it counts when it comes to World Championship matches, then I’m clearly the best option!
Limmy Monaghan: :usure:
Amir Yusuf: Madison, you’re another #EAW15 returnee who came back looking for the spotlight and I’ve made it known how I feel about all these old faces having come back just to take opportunities and time away from this newer era. Do you think I’d just stand back and let you keep me from getting an opportunity, especially when you’ve already had yours? I don’t have to take that from you, I don’t have to listen to Limmy, either, because I don’t care how close either of you think you came to crossing that finish line at some point or the fact that one of you is a former World Champion-
(It’s the sound of “Back To Life” by Soul II Soul starting to play that brings the crowd to boo as The Visual Prophet and Dr. Angelo D’Angelo make their way out! The two of them make it obvious that they couldn’t care less for the reception by not even acknowledging the audience, genuinely amused expressions on their faces as they start down the ramp.)
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Did someone say… former World Champion?!
The Visual Prophet: :adpeek:
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: More importantly, I’d love to know where the three of you get off coming out here, making your intentions for a World Heavyweight Championship match known, as if somehow The Visual Prophet doesn’t exist?! Here we have this strong, capable black man who had his property taken from him at Pain for Pride in a match that he SHOULD have won – and the first thing any of you can think to do is push him right out the way! Disgraceful! Disrespectful!
The Visual Prophet: Now, now, Angie! I don’t know if we can really blame Limmy, Amir, and Madison for coming out here and just throwing their name into the conversation like this…. when it’s all Andre’s fault!
Andre Walker: My fault?
The Visual Prophet: Yes, your fault!
(Andre and Albert get into a small conversation, evidently confused while Viz and Angelo enter the ring.)
The Visual Prophet: I mean, what’s the deal here, Andre? Just throwing my rematch away like I wouldn’t come back around and collect on my third World Championship?! Already trying to run away and make sure that you got absolutely not a thing to do with me, but here I am just in time to put a stop to…. whatever this whole thing was with these three, and make it known that I’m coming back to take what’s mine. We can run it back right now if you want!
Andre Walker: I-
Amir Yusuf: That’s not gonna happen, Viz, because it’s obvious that everyone else around here is ready to put you in the rear view and put the focus elsewhere, definitely not whatever that whole disaster of a thing was with your school. Actually, I have a question: how are you not in jail right now?
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Oh, so THIS is what everyone’s gonna do?! Everyone’s gonna turn on The Visual Prophet and try to act like he hasn’t provided the most entertaining television on EAW in DECADES so that you can try to keep him out of the spotlight?! Not surprised, not surprised – the white man has been trying to keep us from prospering for the longest and now they’ve got everyone on the “we’re tired of Viz” agenda! You think we can’t see what kinda game this is turning into?! Well, it’s NOT a game! This is a man’s LIFE we’re talking about here, he-
(The Visual Prophet’s hand comes upon Angelo’s shoulder and he assures him off-mic that he can handle the rest. A worked-up Angelo silently agrees to settle down and Viz turns his attention back to everyone else in the ring.)
The Visual Prophet: ! The point is, I know none of you really thought that you could come out here and have this conversation without me! Like get serious! Madison? Limmy? Amir? The three of you jumping ahead of The Visual Prophet getting his rematch?! I know a lot of people were hoping I’d lose so that maybe it’d free up the lane to the World Heavyweight Championship since there wasn’t anyone else stopping me and it seemed like a lot of them got what they wanted… but I know y’all didn’t think it’d be that easy to get rid of me :mjlol2:!!!
Limmy Monaghan: Andre laid out the challenge, and I was the first one to accept it. It’s not my fault the rest of you were too slow to do anything about it sooner.
The Visual Prophet: Well, uh, funny story about that: it actually wasn’t something I was trying to debate. If anything, I was explaining to Andre why he needs to stop entertaining all this and just give the people what they want.
Madison Kaline: “The people”? The only one asking for it is you.
The Visual Prophet: You must be real confused, Maddie, because this is Andre not Andrea; we know your obsession with her runs deep but all her and Andre have in common are the first five letters of their names, so you can see your way outta here since you couldn’t possibly be serious! And then there’s Amir trying to let people know who he “really” is now talking like he’s too good to be in a match with the same man he beat for the New Breed title; probably says enough about where you can expect to be at when you’re out of this conversation. And then Limmy. …Man, look at you – ramen for hair. Theron really did you like that when he slapped you with the cease and desist to get his whole look back?! And now you have to deal with me getting ready to send you right back to accepting random challenges while I stay in the main event scene?! You really got it tough!
Madison Kaline: What’s tough is watching you come out here doing this whole routine knowing that everyone’s moved on! It’s time for something new, something never-before-seen – with all the changes going on in EAW, causing a change of my own to EAW’s history by becoming the first woman ever to win the World Heavyweight Championship sounds perfect.
Amir Yusuf: You already lost to Andrea for the Universal Women’s Championship, you failed to win the Ladder Match at Battle of Egypt when Kassidy stopped you and won – you’re not due another World Title shot, Madison, what you’re due is a reality check to let you know that your time is up.
Limmy Monaghan: Because somehow you’re qualified to speak on someone else’s losses and what makes them worthy, Amir? You lost to Jack Ripley at Pain for Pride but that didn’t stop you from coming on out here looking for a World Heavyweight Title shot, now did it? Meanwhile, I actually won my match at Pain for Pride but I know I can do a whole lot better and a whole lot more than what’s expected of you, which is why I should really get back to putting my focus back on Andre to get the World Heavyweight Championship match that I came out here looking for before you all decided to follow my lead.
The Visual Prophet: Your lead?! You all had to know I wasn’t just gonna stand by while a bunch of people tried to move in on my rematch; besides, this is my show-
Madison Kaline: If that’s the case, then not for much longer.
(The four of them begin to get into an argument about who should be the one to get the opportunity at Andre, all of them shouting over each other until….)
???: AHEM! AHEM! IS THIS THING ON?! CAN EVERYONE HEAR ME?! 1, 2, 3 – TESTING! TESTING!
(All attention turns to the stage where coming out from the back is Tyrone Montgomery, who’s hitting on the top of the microphone to make sure that it’s properly working. Tyrone looks around, a smile on his face as he sees everyone’s looking at him.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Oh, I guess it is working! Great! Well, I see what’s happening down there in the ring and I hear everyone’s arguments for why they want to be the one to compete against Andre for his World Heavyweight Championship. So, I’ve taken everything into consideration and I’ve decided that, next week, there will be a Fatal Four-way Match to determine the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Title: it’ll be Limmy Monaghan versus Amir Yusuf versus Madison Kaline versus The Visual Prophet!
Stew-O: Woah! What a match just announced by Tyrone!
Flannery McCoy: It’s hard to imagine that any of them really thought it’d come to this, but with all of them vying for the chance to face off against Andre like this, I suppose it’s one way to settle this!
Jake Mercer: #JUSTICE4VIZ2K22!!
(The four aforementioned Elists all look at each other, all of them blaming each other for the entire thing going off the rails and resulting in no one getting to outright accept Andre Walker’s decision. But Andre and Albert have already left the ring, the pair of them watching the argument unfold from the ramp with Andre watching on with an amused smirk as the scene fades out.)
(Promotional ad for Midsummer Massacre, July 30th.)
(The shot fades back to the crowd as they erupt in a mixed reaction at the sound of “Trophies” by Drake.)
Jake Mercer: YEAAAAAAA! Here comes Joso!
Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, PLEASE WELCOME THE MAN WHO WON THE NEW ERA CLASSIC TOURNAMENT AT PAIN FOR PRIDE….”THE NEW ERA” HIMSELFFFF, JOSOOOOOO!!!!
(Joso appears on stage and confidently makes his way to the edge of the stage. He keeps his sunglasses on as he walks down the ramp and nears the ring amidst the big reaction from fans.)
Stew-O: He did exactly what he said he was going to do at Pain For Pride! Joso won the New Era Classic Tournament and he beat Harley Lewis in one of the most exciting bouts of the entire event.
Flannery McCoy: You can tell he’s oozing confidence right now and he knows that the spotlight is on him heading into season 16. He knows big things are coming his way!
(Joso gets into the ring and is handed a microphone.)
Joso: WE DID IT! We did it and we did it through all the naysaying and doubters trying to run my career off the road. At Pain For Pride, I capitalized on a moment I’ve been saying was going to come since I started here in EAW. I stamped my name over all the others of the new era and now there’s only one face of the new era, Joso is that face. There’s no more doubt and no more stones to be turned when it comes to who the next young great is in EAW because at Pain For Pride, I answered that question and I did it in emphatic fashion. Joso is him and Joso is your “New Era”, EAW.
(The crowd cheers as Joso takes off his sunglasses and starts with another fiery address.)
Joso: And I didn’t forget that everyone was trying to doubt and undermine my chances of being successful in this company before I even got my legs underneath me, but I’ve always known I was going to be great. That’s the difference between Harley Lewis and everyone else I beat in the New Era classic; I’ve always KNOWN who I’d become. Despite all the whispers and speculation that I’d let it slip through my fingers, I never did because I knew as a child that my legacy was going to be set in stone. That one day I’d be here and soon, I’ll be miles from where I am right now and I’m already leaving everyone else in the dust, so be ready.
Joso: Harley wasn’t and he swore to himself up and down he would be. He promised to be ready for Joso, he was shouting his talents from the mountaintops and didn’t believe for a second that he’d fail- then he did. He failed and I was victorious over his beaten and bruised body because he was never fit to fill the shoes of someone who is going to lead EAW into its new season and its future. Everyone’s realizing now what I’ve been saying forever. There is a REASON Joso won at Pain For Pride and he beat everyone else in that New Era Classic. There is a REASON Joso is competing in the MAIN EVENT of Dynasty against Andre Walker, a guy holding not one, but two titles. Yeah, that’s who I’m facing and Harley Lewis is God knows where on Showdown. Everyone else that was close to touching Joso for months has slowly faded away, while I’ve made my way to the very top of the most prestigious brand in EAW!
(The crowd cheers hard for Dynasty and for Joso.)
Joso: That’s right, cheer the greatest brand in EAW and cheer it’s greatest asset because JOSO IS THE FUTURE! There’s a reason Dynasty is known for drafting all of the greatest prospects in EAW and we aren’t trying to rely on washed-up, old, beaten down elitists to provide us with something organic! Dynasty is the land of opportunity, Dynasty is the foundation, Dynasty provides EAW with its building blocks for the future! Joso, Andre Walker, Limmy Monaghan, Serenity Valdez, Visual Prophet, SOSA Henderson- We’ve got no competition! And with me being the one to steer the wheel of the ship into the direction of the future, trust me, we’re going places. I’m going to take every word of doubt and every sly insult from every elitist who thought they could match me when I started here and continue to remind them of just why it’s them that have disappeared between the cracks, yet I’m front and center in this business.
Joso: It really is ironic, isn’t it? All those same guys and girls that believed in their hearts that they’d be in my position right now and that they deserved the glory and the fame, they’re the ones who are all either gone or soon to be from this company because they put in minimal effort week in and week out, show absolutely no drive to progress and no will to learn how to better themselves. I only put in hard work and I do it better than everyone else, that’s why the Harley Lewises of the world and so on are only ever going to be Joso fans. They can watch as I have a massive match at Midsummer Massacre and continue main eventing Dynasty against the top dogs of EAW.
Joso: I’m not even rookie of the year anymore because I’m not a damn rookie anymore, I’m on a mission to get to the top and take over EAW. I don’t want to stop where I’m at, I’m going to keep defying limits and pushing the boundaries of what it means to rise to the top. It’s happening fast and it’s happening right now, so don’t blink because I don’t mi-
(“Prices” by Lil Uzi Vert interrupts Joso as the crowd breaks out into a chorus of boos and the ominous Ruler makes his way onto the stage.)
Stew-O: What is- What is Ruler doing out here? Why is he interrupting Joso?
Ruler: Not if I don’t let it happen, Joso.
Joso: Who the-
Ruler: You’re not the New Era if I don’t let it happen.
Joso: Man, what are you even doing out here??
Ruler: You know Joso, you did win the New Era classic and on that, I give you congratulations. See, you made your Pain For Pride moment count and that’s something I too tried to do and seemingly paled in comparison. My point is that I’ve had an eye on you for some time and recognize how impressive the work you’re doing is. You’ve done what I haven’t and you won the New Era classic that I came so close to winning, but in the end fell short in. You’ve done things I thus far have failed to, but I too am as eager as ever to turn my turbulence into ambition and get back into the throw of things.
(Joso looks confused as he looks around at the crowd and Ruler walks down the ramp and continues to speak. He gets into the ring and faces Joso.)
Ruler: My ambitions are to solidify my standing as the face of EAW’s new class of supremely talented young elitists and to be the true “new era” of EAW. You’re sporting that name as a tagline, but I’m still working as hard as I can to make it happen in reality. I won’t let it rest and I won’t be deterred by anything, I will be the face of the new era and I will make season 16 the true beginning of the rise of Ruler. Right now, you’re standing in the way and you’re standing at the front of the line- so you’re who I need to chop down, you’re who I need to take out and you’re who I need to move ahead of.
Ruler: By winning that New Era Classic you put yourself into a spotlight that everyone else wants, everyone else including me and while you might bask in that glory, if you’re not careful it’ll be taken from you. There’s a target on your back and my sights are primed to take what you have and define my career not by defying what anybody else has to say about me, but not ever caring what anybody but me said about things. I’m the only elitist that can and will stand in the light as the face of the new era, you won’t stop that.
Joso: …But I already have? I????? I’ve already stifled your momentum and I won the New Era classic and EARNED that title. It isn’t just some tagline that makes me look good, I won that name and earned that representation by being better than you and everyone else. You’re as delusional as we thought if you really believed you could come out here groveling and begging for scraps like this. You want a handout and you want the blessing of Joso choosing you next. You want something you haven’t earned and don’t deserve, meanwhile I’m looking up and facing top competition. You don’t even deserve the time of day.
Ruler: It sounds a lot like you’re already just overestimating yourself. You won the New Era classic, so you’re ready for Andre Walker, Visual Prophet, and Limmy Monaghan? You’re going to get put back down into your place and then you’re going to have that too stripped from you because you didn’t realize the threat that stands across from you right now. And you’re right, I do want a match with you, Joso because you’re who I have to beat to take the step into the face of what it means to lead the new generation of elitists into season 16. I want this season to be mine and I’m not waiting for anybody. I’m going to take what you have and I’m going to do more with it than you ever would’ve.
Joso: You had your chance and you squandered it. You had your CHANCES and let them all fall away into dust and ash. Time and time again it’s your name that has been on the losing end of things and yet you still beckon for bigger and better. You just don’t want to feel any more humiliated than your pathetic self already does for always being a doormat to elitists who can actually come closer to doing what you want to in EAW. You hate that and you hate yourself for being such a failure, but I don’t have to throw you a lifejacket and prevent a drowning career because you were always destined to go under. It isn’t in your nature to beat guys like me and to believe that you have it in you to fill the role of who you want to be.
Joso: You just can’t face that blunt truth, but it’s better than getting smacked in the head with my boot so I’ll give you some final words of wisdom; You want me? You want Joso? Go earn it. Go prove that you’re anything but a self-pitying moron with no skills and then maybe you’ll have your opportunity and try and fail at taking this “New Era” throne away from me. Until then, go rack up some wins and anything that says you deserve to even share this ring with me because as of right now, you’re nobody to me. You’re a guy who always seems to slip the target and fail his greatest trials, but me?
(The crowd says it with Joso.)
Joso: I DON’T MISS.
(Joso puts on his sunglasses and bumps Ruler in the shoulder on his way out of the ring, as “Trophies” begins to play once more. Ruler looks at Joso with anger and frustration on his face as Joso walks up the ramp and the crowd cheers for him.)
(The shot shows one last shot of an enraged Ruler and the screen fades elsewhere.)
(Dynasty fades to the ring, and Stephie Love is seen standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in her hand.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for…ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
(‘Told You So’ by Paramore would blast through the arena, to a huge negative reaction from everyone in attendance, as Robyn Valentine, accompanied to the ring by her father, walks through the curtain. She looks cocky and overconfident, breathing in the hate as she would make her way down to the ring, before entering and backing into her corner.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first…from Santa Monica, California…weighing in at 142 pounds…she is The ‘Perfect Child’…ROBYN VALENTINE!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Disappointed in his daughter missing Pain For Pride last Season, it seems that Robyn Valentine’s father is going to be joining her to the ring for her Match tonight.
Flannery McCoy: And we have seen on Voltage the little snake that Robyn can be! With her father in her corner, the amount of cheating tactics that she can resort to here tonight is endless as she is taking on a debuting Milli Banks!
Jake Mercer: Wait…Valentine??? VALENTINE? IS SHE RELATED TO ANDREA VALENTINE?!?!
Stew-O: …No-
Jake Mercer: WAIT! WHAT IF THAT OLD MAN IS ALSO THE FATHER OF ANDREA VALENTINE! I AM A GENIUS-
Flannery McCoy: Dude, no. No relation.
(‘Told You So’ would fade out, as ‘Changed It’ by Nicki Minaj feat. Lil Wayne would then blast through the arena, a similar negative reaction is given to a debuting Milli Banks who walks through the curtain! Although a more positive reaction than Robyn, the sound of hatred is still there as Milli Banks would cockily make her way down to the ring, rolling into the ring and backing into her corner.)
Stephie Love: And her opponent…from Brooklyn, New York…weighing in at 130 pounds…she is The ‘Brooklyn Bankroller’…MILLI BANKS!!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: And here is Milli Banks! She is making her debut here tonight, and what better way to debut than on the first ever Dynasty of Season 16!
Stew-O: But it’s going to be a hard task here tonight, as she has to deal with, who you called, the snake, in Robyn Valentine. You know that Robyn may have some tricks up in her sleeve, but I don’t think that will break the confidence of Milli.
Jake Mercer: Wait…
Stew-O: Please don’t say it-
Jake Mercer: IS THAT THE DAUGHTER OF RONN BANK$??? WHO KNEW THAT WRESTLING RAN THROUGH THE FAMILY? OH WHO AM I KIDDING, I DID! WE GOT RONN BANK$ DAUGHTER VS ANDREA VALENTINE’S SISTER! :wow:
Flannery McCoy: NO, JAKE! NO RELATION! OKAY? NO RELATION!
Jake Mercer: :usure:
Flannery McCoy: YES I’M SURE!
Jake Mercer: :mjcry:
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And here we go! From the get go, it is the newcomer Milli Banks who takes the early advantage, who meets Robyn Valentine in the center of the ring and immediately grabs her into a side headlock before dropping her down. Milli continues to wrench in the headlock, before she lets go, and Roybn gets up to her feet, but it doesn’t matter as Milli catches Robyn with a slap right across the face! Robyn staggers away as Milli now grabs her by the arm, throwing her off the ropes before catching her with a stiff shoulder tackle!
Flannery McCoy: That shoulder tackle sent Robyn Valentine down with force, as she then backed away and into the corner. But Milli isn’t going to have any of that, as she gives chase to Robyn, but Robyn rolls out of the ring! It looks like Robyn isn’t going to have much of the early storm from Milli Banks, but it looks like she is still going to get that as Banks runs the ropes, before catching Robyn with a suicide dive that sends her back first into the barricade! Milli grabs Robyn, sending her back into the ring as she eyes Mr. J Valentine, who is Robyn’s father!
Jake Mercer: And this looks to be a distraction as when Milli was going to get back into the ring, Robyn cuts her off and she is able to get those strikes in! Robyn picks Milli back up to her feet, before stomping on the foot, causing Milli to bend over as Valentine connects with a DDT. Robyn Valentine was able to take advantage of the distraction caused from her father, and now she is absolutely relentless! Milli is trying to cover up, but it isn’t until the Referee has to forcefully pull her off where space is made, and Robyn taunts to the crowd.
Flannery McCoy: Milli Banks starts to make it back up to her feet, but Robyn Valentine runs right back at Milli and the onslaught continues! Robyn grabs Banks by the arm, throwing her into the corner as she runs towards her and connects with a clothesline! Robyn runs the ropes once again, and she goes for another clothesline, but this time is met with a big book by Milli Banks! Robyn staggers away, but Milli grabs hold of her, as she twists her arm around…and Robyn catches Milli with a knee to the gut…and then rakes her eyes as the Ref couldn’t see it!!
Stew-O: This gives Robyn the advantage once again, as she kicks Milli in the knee which shuts her down and down to her knees. Robyn runs the rope, but Milli gets back up and catches her with an arm drag…but Robyn rolls through and right back up to her feet, where she goes to stomp on the arm, but Milli moves out of the way! Milli gets up to her feet as she runs the ropes, but Robyn moves out of the way- wait no! Milli Banks catches her with a backfist, and Robyn falls to the ground!
Jake Mercer: You can hear Milli talking sh-…talking…talking trash to Robyn, picking her up to her feet as she throws Robyn Valentine towards the ropes, as Robyn runs them and gets hit with a hip toss by Milli. Millie Banks now knees her right in the gut, as she gets up and now it is her turn to take the time to show off! Robyn crawls away, as she is able to make it on the apron, and Milli notices this as she walks over to her and grabs Robyn-
Flannery McCoy: But Robyn Valentine grabs Milli Banks by the neck and drops her down on the ropes! Milli Banks didn’t see that coming as Robyn slithers her way back into the ring, running the ropes as she catches Milli with a knee right to the back! Milli Banks is trying to get away, but Robyn Valentine has taken control once more. But Milli is still fighting! Milli is still fighting! Milli gets Robyn off her, and she goes to run the ropes, but Robyn overwhelms her before dragging her into the middle of the ring, and she catches Milli with a slap! That staggers Milli Banks…AND ‘ART OF VALENTINE’ BY ROBYN VALENTINE! THE SPINNING HEEL KICK CONNECTS, AND A COVER!
OOOONNNNEEEEE!!!!!!
TWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Stew-O: MILLI BANKS WITH THE KICKOUT AT TWO! Robyn Valentine can be seen really irritated by this, as she gets up to her feet to argue with the referee. Milli Banks starts to crawl away, but Robyn is back up to her feet, and she looks to stop Milli. Milli however is able to get back up to her feet, and she knees Robyn right in the gut, before throwing her off the ropes and catching her with a calf kick! Milli now runs the ropes, and she catches Robyn with an elbow, and Milli is back in control of this Match!
Jake Mercer: Yessir, Milli once again begins to take the upper hand here, and now she grabs the arm of Robyn Valentine and FLIPS HER RIGHT OVER WITH AN ARMDRAG!! She doesn’t release that arm, though, and rolls right through with it, still holding on!!
Flannery McCoy: Milli Banks could be looking for two or more armdrags in succession to gain herself a bigger upper-handment here, but Robyn Valentine prevents the second arm drag by Irish whipping Milli Banks into the corner! Milli goes back first into the turnbuckles, but as Robyn Valentine is running towards Milli Banks, Milli counters with a dropkick to Valentine’s knees!! Robyn Valentine has now just gone jaw first into the second turnbuckle!!
Stew-O: You gotta applaud the skill of Milli Banks here. Barely any mistakes, and ruthless forms of great and successful attacks. Milli Banks picks Robyn Valentine up now and sets her sitting up on top of the top rope, and Milli takes a step back to the centre of the ring.. What could she be looking for here..she runs straight towards the corner, and jumps onto the top rope before grabbing a hold of Robyn, AND SHE THROWS HER OFF THE TOP ROPE WITH A BIG THROW AND ROBYN GOES ACROSS THE RING!!
Jake Mercer: Robyn Valentine is completely out right now, but I don’t think Milli Banks is done here! She picks Robyn back up to her feet, before hitting a slow rebound off the ropes…AND SHE CATCHES ROBYN WITH A JUMPING DDT! Robyn landed hard, and now Milli is dragging Robyn back in place near the ropes, as she climbs back up to the top rope! Robyn Valentine is completely out of it right now, but I think Milli Banks is looking to add insult to injury!
Flannery McCoy: Robyn Valentine is completely lifeless here as…THERE GOES MILLI BANKS! SHE JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPE, AND SHE DRIVES HER KNEES RIGHT INTO THE GUT OF ROBYN! ROBYN IS OUT OF IT, AS MILLI ROLLS THROUGH…AND SHE IS GOING FOR MORE, AS SHE CONNECTS WITH A STANDING MOONSAULT, DRIVING HER KNEES ONCE MORE INTO THE GUT OF ROBYN VALENTINE! SHE CALLS THAT ‘BANK ROLL’ AS ROBYN VALENTINE IS OUT OF IT, AND MILLI BANKS FALLS INTO THE COVER! THIS HAS TO BE IT!
OOOOONNNNNEEEE!!!!!!!
TWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
TTTTHH-
Stew-O: But Robyn Valentine is able to stay alive in this match as she gets the shoulder up just in time! Milli Banks gets off her opponent, as she climbs back up to her feet, and begins kicking right away at the head of Robyn! The ref holds her back, and now…Mr. J Valentine gets the attention of Milli! Milli notices this as…he is getting up on the apron? What the hell is going on-
Jake Mercer: LMAOOOOOO!!!!!!!! :mjlol:!!!!! MILLI JUST FAKED THE OLD MAN OUT WITH A PUNCH AND HE JUST CRUMBLES AWAY DOWN OFF THE APRON!!! :mjlol2:!!! Milli is laughing at this, and so am I!…but wait! That gave time for Robyn to recover as she is back up to her feet, and she attacks Milli from behind! Robyn hands Milli up to the ropes, and she pushes her throat first right into it…before connecting with a backstabber! Milli fell down hard onto the knees of Robyn Valentine, and now she gets back up to her feet!
Flannery McCoy: Robyn Valentine now runs the ropes, as she drives her knee right into the head of Milli Banks, and I think she just got rendered as OUT from that, but Robyn isn’t done! She now drags Banks back up to her feet, now trying to wake her up as pulls Milli in by the waist, AND SHE LOOKS FOR THE ‘BELIEVE IT OR SEE IT’!!! SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB!! NO!! MILLI HOLDS ON FOR DEAR LIFE, AND SHE IS ABLE TO GET ROBYN VALENTINE OFF HER!
Stew-O: But Robyn Valentine runs right at Milli Banks, and-…she runs right behind her, and she pulls her down, sliding her over into a rollup! Robyn could win it here-…WAIT SHE HAS THE TIGHTS FOR LEVERAGE!!
OOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
TTTTHHHHHRRR-
Jake Mercer: BUT MILLI BANKS IS ABLE TO KICK OUT OF IT, AS THEY BOTH MAKE IT UP TO THEIR FEET-…BUT ROBYN VALENTINE CATCHES HER WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Robyn now throws her into the corner, as she runs at her…but Milli moves out of the way! Milli now grabs Robyn, and drops her down with a backbreaker..but that popped Robyn right back up, and she jumps onto the top rope! I don’t think Milli Banks saw that coming, as she is back onto her feet…AND ROBYN VALENTINE JUMPS ONTO HER SHOULDERS! THEY ARE IN AN ELECTRIC CHAIR POSITION-
Flannery McCoy: FRANKENSTEINER CONNECTS! BUT ROBYN ISN’T DONE, AS SHE NOW GOES FOR THE STANDING MOONSAULT TO COMPLETE ‘INFECTED LOVE’!!! BUT MILLI BANKS MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! MILLI GETS UP TO HER FEET, AND SO DOES ROBYN AS MILLI RUNS THE ROPES…AND HITS ROBYN VALENTINE FULL FORCE WITH A LARIAT! ROBYN FLIPS INSIDE AND OUT FROM THAT, AND I DON’T THINK MILLI IS DONE AS SHE GOES TO THE TOP ROPE, BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HUGE DIVING ELBOW DROP!
Stew-O: Milli Banks now staggers away and backs into the corner, looking to get breathing room as Robyn Valentine can be seen crawling around. Milli notices this, as she grabs a hold of Robyn, and drags her up to her feet…but Robyn catches Milli with a headbutt! That leaves Milli a little weary, as now Robyn Valentine hits a vertical suplex! Robyn quickly gets back up to her feet…BUT SO DOES MILLI BANKS! Milli runs the ropes, but Robyn catches her with a European uppercut! And then a stiff clothesline! But Milli ain’t going down, and Milli with a huge boot that sends Robyn to a knee!
Jake Mercer: Milli Banks now runs the ropes again-…BUT ROBYN VALENTINE GETS UP AND THUMPS THE EYE IN AN ANGLE THAT THE REFEREE COULDN’T SEE! MILLI IS BLINDED AND ROBYN KNEES HER IN THE GUT, BEFORE THROWING HER FULL FORCE INTO A CORNER THAT FORCES BANKS TO FALL RIGHT DOWN! Robyn Valentine is now taking the time to taunt to the crowd, as Milli is barely crawling around, it looks like she is out! But Robyn gets Milli up to her feet, and it looks like she’s going to finish this!
Flannery McCoy: Robyn Valentine pulls Milli Banks in by the waist, but it looks like Milli is trying to fight out of it, but she can’t! Robyn now hoists Milli up, and she goes for it! ‘BELIEVE IT OR SEE IT!!! WAIT!!! MILLI BANKS JUST FLIPPED HERSELF OVER…AND SHE CONNECTS WITH AN ASAI DDT! SHE CALLS THAT ‘BANKRUPT’! THE ASAI DDT CONNECTS! ROBYN VALENTINE IS OUT OF IT, AND MILLI BANKS DROPS HERSELF IN THE COVER!
OOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRREEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Changed It’ would begin to blast through the arena to a negative reaction, but a small positive out there as the fans in attendance are impressed by the performance of Milli Banks. Milli rolls off Robyn Valentine, getting up to her feet, as her arm is raised by the referee.)
Stephie Love: YOUR WINNER OF THIS MATCH…MILLI BANKS!!!!
Jake Mercer: WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: WOW! What an impressive debut here tonight for Milli Banks! She is starting off her debut Season off hot here with a win over Robyn Valentine, and she indeed worked for that victory!
Flannery McCoy: Robyn Valentine gave her a run for her money, but in the end Milli Banks was able to prevail, and pick up the win! Milli has a lot going for her, and I am interested to see what she is going to amount to in her time in this Company. Congratulations to Milli Banks!
(Milli Banks would continue to celebrate her victory, as the last image is of her on the top rope posing. Robyn Valentine would be getting checked on by the referee, as the screen would fade from there.)
(Commercial for Thor: Love and Thunder, in theaters now!)
(“Back to Life” by Soul II Soul hits and is quickly met with a chorus of boos. Dr. Angelo D’Angelo, this time alone, comes out from the back. He takes a moment to soak in the dissatisfaction from the crowd and makes his way down the ramp. He enters the ring and immediately demands a microphone from one of the ringside officials.)
Flannery McCoy: We saw Angelo out here a little earlier tonight when he came out with Visual Prophet to answer Andre’s challenge, but he seems to be coming out alone this time.
Stew-O: Well Angelo seems to be a really busy man these days with more than one client now, we saw at the draft show he made a new alliance with Astraea Jordan and I can’t help but wonder how that’s going to go for them. Definitely not something I saw coming.
Jake Mercer: I saw it coming from a mile away! Angelo is building a DYNASTY here, no pun intended and he wants to elevate his people.. there’s nothing wrong with that!
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo (off-mic): Where is my microphone, you milk monster?!
Stew-O: Oh, brother.
(After a couple seconds of scrambling, Angelo is quickly handed a microphone by Stephie Love and “Back to Life” dies down.)
Dr. Angelo D’ Angelo: If I was some melanin deficient manager you woulda had that ready for me ahead of time. See the things we as black people have to deal with here!
(The crowd, again, is not receptive.)
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Thought y’all wasn’t gonna see me again huh? I got a lot left in the tank! A lot of big business is going on for me here on Dynasty and it’s only right to put some things into perspective for you cacazoids. Not that I owe any of y’all an explanation, but still. What I witnessed at Pain for Pride was absolutely detestable and unacceptable! Almost every black competitor lost their matches, including, unfortunately, my close friend and colleague, The Visual Prophet. Along with that, Astraea Jordan participated in a rigfest for the ages and had her match stopped prematurely when we ALL know she would’ve put that unseasoned beast down had she been permitted to continue!
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Of course the suits couldn’t let her win at Pain for Pride over one of their own and steal the show once again, that would be unacceptable to them, so they had to ONCE AGAIN plot against a strong, black queen to spare a mediocre white woman who cannot hold a candle to Astraea on her best day the embarrassment that would come with a loss to her on the biggest stage EAW possesses. Last time this woman was in EAW, she was a victim of CONSPIRACY. Her run ended in an unceremonious fashion. In other words, all of the mediocre insecure jealous and bitter snow bunnies in that locker room banded together in order to make her feel like an outsider! They stacked the deck against her in matches to prevent her from winning the world championship that had her name on it! They did everything in their power to make Astraea Jordan lose her passion for this business, and it worked. I saw her come back to this company after four years, a brand new woman. Stronger, faster, smarter, even more beautiful and more sure of what she wanted and I just KNEW nothing would be able to get in her way… until it did. They pulled the BS at Pain for Pride and tried to sabotage her again and that was it for me. I could not just sit back and watch this happen, I had to intervene to ensure this would never happen again, and that’s what brings me here tonight. I offered this strong queen the opportunity of a lifetime and she took it and together… we are going to take over this whole damn company! We are going to dismantle the systemic oppression that has burdened my sister for far too long! Kill the false narratives and microaggressions! And show exactly why she always has been and always will be superior to those sun-dodging saltines in the back! Without further ado…
(Angelo pauses as the crowd continues to boo him.)
…
(“Party Goin’ Dumb” by Rico Nasty starts blaring throughout the arena to a mix of cheers and boos, an unusual reception for the formerly beloved Chicagoian. After a few seconds, Astraea Jordan makes her way out onto the stage, dressed in a yellow, green pink and turquoise silk Versace blazer with matching pants and similarly colored Versace sunglasses covering her eyes. She doesn’t do her usual entrance to hype up the crowd, instead she simply begins her walk down the ramp and to the ring with a smirk on her face, ignoring jeering from some fans in the front row.)
Flannery McCoy: Ever since the draft show, the EAW universe has been wondering why Astraea Jordan has decided to suddenly align herself with The Visual Prophet and Dr. Angelo and she’s been radio silent on the subject all week. I’m very interested to hear what she has to say.
Jake Mercer: Somehow I can’t imagine any good reason for her to do so.
(Astraea makes her way to the steel steps at ringside and ascends them as Angelo sits on the middle rope to help Astraea get into the ring easier. Astraea steps between the ropes as she smiles and nods at Angelo which inclines the crowd to boo more. She shrugs this off and is handed her own mic as the music fades out.)
Astraea Jordan: Very well said, Angelo!
(More boos which causes Astraea to look out around the audience with a smug look on her face. She begins to shake her head. Angelo gestures for her to just ignore them.)
Astraea Jordan: Oh, boo-hoo.
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Maybe if you ungrateful snow apes zipped your underdeveloped skinny lips, you could learn a few things and be half as successful as Mrs. Jordan one day. Now, shut up and listen!
(There’s a loud reaction from the crowd again and Astraea begins to speak.)
Astraea Jordan: When I first made my return to this company, I received a very warm welcome. I wasn’t sure how y’all were gonna react to me showing up again after 3 years but I knew I was coming to show out either way, and that’s exactly what I did, and it seemed like almost everybody enjoyed it. I came back hoping to pick up right where I left off so I did all the things I thought I was supposed to do to be the Astraea Jordan you loved and missed so much. I wanted to satisfy everybody, I didn’t wanna have petty old beefs brought up against me again and my plan was to just stay in my lane and mind my business like I always did, or tried to at least when I wasn’t getting dragged into other people’s BS for no reason-
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Which was a lot.
(Astraea turns to look at Angelo after his sudden interruption and gives him a big but slightly threatening smile.)
Astraea Jordan: Thank you, Angelo, but I got this.
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Of course, my queen, I apologize! Please continue.
Astraea Jordan: I wanted to recapture what originally got y’all on my side, to support me, but as the days and weeks went by and I heard the same regurgitated nonsense come out of everyone I faced’s mouths and I was getting jumped and stabbed in the back like it was 2017 and 2018 all over again, I knew I had to do something different. I was too caught up in everybody else and what they was doing, worried about how I’d be perceived by others this time around and compared to new girls that I lost sight of what was really important..
(She looks down and pauses for a moment before slowly returning her eyes directly to the camera, a fierce look on her face.)
Astraea Jordan: Me.
(The audience gives her a mixed reaction after hearing these words.)
Astraea Jordan: I’m done holding my tongue, I’m done being buddy-buddy with every bitch I see when I get nothing in return and I’m done taking a backseat to any-damn-body.
Jake Mercer: I don’t think that’s very family friendly..
Astraea Jordan: And Disn–(The feed suddenly glitches and loud censoring noises can be heard, making what Astraea Jordan said undetectable)
(The crowd is louder than ever now, they’re used to Astraea being bold, but never like this.)
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo (off-mic): Period!
Astraea Jordan: It ain’t a secret that I’m getting up there in age, not that that matters in the ring cuz Lord knows I’m still better than every other person here, but in terms of generally living life, there’s gonna come a time where I want to finally retire and spend the rest of my days comfortably with my family. So I’m done sitting on my hands waiting for opportunities to come to me, I did that for years and all it did was set me back in the long run. I’m here to take things myself. I’m so over tryna please everyone and do everything the “right” way cuz it don’t make a damn difference in how I get treated anyway. I still get accused of being management’s favorite, of riding the coattails of a man that ain’t even here anymore, and I still get hated on by crazy jealous bums in the back who don’t believe I was any good to begin with. Every time I’ve had a partner or friend or whoever in this God forsaken company, I’ve been screwed over, from Sheridan being an attention starved skank broad at Battle of Egypt to Malcolm’s Joneset costing me a world title when I was seconds away, effectively wasting my Empress of Elite cash-in, and so much more. So eff allat, I’m doing me and me only from now on, and with the help of such a great man as Dr. Angelo over there to guide me, imma become the very best version of me I could ever be.
Astraea Jordan: I ain’t just a hashtag, merch or catchphrase machine looking for cheap pops and I ain’t here to be a nostalgia act. Like I’ve said before, I’m the past, present and future of this place and the future is now, baby. I ain’t letting some narrative pushed by non blacks and insecure females who are mad I achieved things they couldn’t in such a short time take over and push me out of this again, things are gonna go a lot differently this time. I know my mf worth now and it’s more than any amount of zeros DEDEDE or Andy Dominguez’s old asses are gonna try to bribe me with when it’s time for another contract renewal. The fun is over, y’all had your chance to surpass me and talk crazy on my name for 3 nearly 4 years, now your time is UP. I’m a once in a generation performer who was held in the highest of regards by the best of the best when I first came around and I will prove why that was the case in Season 16 when I take what should’ve been mine a long ass time ago.
Astraea Jordan: I don’t need the cheers of people who boo Angelo just cuz he spreads a pro-black message tryna act like they give a damn about me. I’ve always been about giving back to my community and being a symbol of hope to black girls everywhere by being unapologetically myself. I’ve seen what Angelo has done for Viz and I’m going to have the same type of success and then some. Individually and together, we plan on taking this whole place over and if people were smart, they’d be joining this movement instead of getting in its way. Here’s a hashtag for ya asses, #Blackout.
(Astraea drops the mic and “Party Goin’ Dumb” resumes as the crowd begins to boo. Dr. Angelo and Astraea shake hands before Angelo enthusiastically raises her hand just as he did at the Draft show, inciting more loud boos from the Argentinian audience.)
(Commercial for the Cheesecake Factory featuring Mr. Cash in the Vault, Jake Smith.)
(Dynasty fades back to ringside, and Stephie Love is seen holding a microphone.)
Stephie Love: The following singles contest is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Prices’ by Lil Uzi Vert plays as Ruler makes his way to the stage. He pauses and gives a look around with a stone-faced expression before making his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from The Reserved… weighing in at 235 pounds … he is the ‘Monarch of Agony’, RUUUUULLLLEEEERRRRR!!!
Stew-O: Ruler came to EAW earlier in the year and has been on a roll since. Although he wasn’t able to win at Pain for Pride and get the New Breed Championship as intended, he’s made it known that he is still very much on the mission of becoming a champion here in EAW.
Jake Mercer: He definitely is still one of those Elitists people have pinned as winning a title here sooner rather than later. He’s as vicious in the ring as he is with his words, and having been drafted to Dynasty from Voltage, he’s undoubtedly going to have all of the ambition in the world to reach the top here.
(Ruler gets inside the ring and gets himself situated by the corner as he waits for his opponent to arrive.)
Flannery McCoy: That is true, but he isn’t the only one with plans of dominating their opponents here in Dynasty…
(‘Dark Eternal Night’ by Dream Theatre plays and the crowd begins to boo. Out comes Wildcard, having a fire in her eyes as she storms down the ramp and slides into the ring.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent, from Parts Unknown… she is the ‘Avatar of Pain’, WIIIIIIIIILDCAAAAAARRRRRRDDD!!!
Stew-O: Here is Wildcard, who seems to be eager to get the action going. She too was drafted from Voltage to Dynasty.
Jake Mercer: I got to say, it’s weird that Wildcard has kept quiet all throughout this week. She went toe-to-toe with Ruler before when they were on Voltage, and she wasn’t shy about what she thought about him.
Flannery McCoy: Perhaps, but she seems to be all business tonight. She’s just looking to let her actions do all of the talking for her.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Flannery McCoy: As some things change here in EAW, other things remain the same. This will be the second time that Ruler and Wildcard will be squaring off against each other one-on-one.
Jake Mercer: It was Ruler who came out on top in their encounter and he managed to secure himself a spot in the New Breed Championship match at Pain for Pride. Still, it’s easy to say that this match is just as important. These competitors are looking to make a strong first impression here in Dynasty, and they’re already at it as Ruler and Wildcard engage each other in a fierce lockup! Both of them aren’t giving the other an inch!
Stew-O: Like you said Jake, these two understand that they’ll have to try and cut the other down if they want to put the Dynasty roster on notice. These two were impressive on Voltage, and now they want to make sure that the momentum they had won’t go to waste! Ruler manages to push Wildcard into the ropes, but Wildcard uses her own strength to roll him into the corner.
Flannery McCoy: The referee is quickly stepping in to get them to relinquish the hold. Wildcard backs up, but Ruler gives her a smack across the face! The referee admonishes him, but he doesn’t care! Ruler seems to have a smirk on his face, and you can just see how Wildcard is staring daggers into him.
Stew-O: Yes, but Ruler remains unfazed. They meet in the center again, but this time Ruler ducks underneath Wildcard’s attempt for another lockup and snakes behind to grab her by the waist. He tries lifting her up, but Wildcard manages to keep her weight center. She DECKS him with a back elbow to the head! And he answers back with a stiff forearm to the back of her head!
Flannery McCoy: Wildcard whirls around and she gets right into his face before firing off with some backhanded chops! Ruler isn’t backing down though! He… he seems to be laughing! Now he’s firing back with some forearms and chops of his own!
Jake Mercer: This is already having the makings of a nasty brawl! Both of them are just hitting each other! Punches, chops, forearms – the whole works! But wait, Ruler manages to stun Wildcard with a vicious European uppercut! And that seems to bring that flurry of offense to an end as he runs for the ropes and comes back to level her with a discus clothesline!
Stew-O: He isn’t done! Double foot stomp to the stomach of Wildcard! He goes to the ropes again and finishes it all off with a senton, sending all of his body weight down onto her! He goes for the quick pin!
Referee: ONNNNNNNEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOO–
Stew-O: Kickout from Wildcard! She slowly rises to her knee, clutching her midsection.
Flannery McCoy: Oof, I’m sure everyone can feel her pain. That wasn’t pretty to watch. She’s up on her feet, but Ruler gets at her and brings her down with a half-and-half suplex! He doesn’t relent, and quickly traps her with a boston crab! Wildcard grits her teeth! She’s clawing her way towards the ropes to try and get out of that hold!
Jake Mercer: Wildcard is as tough as they come, but that midsection has to be killing her. Doesn’t help that Ruler is trying to get a deep hold on that move. She’s getting close, though…! Oh, but Ruler drags her back to the center!
Stew-O: This doesn’t look good. Wildcard has to try and figure something out… and she does! With all of her might, she manages to get on her hands and roll to the side! She uses both of her feet to push Ruler away! Ruler storms back but she sends a punch to the gut! He comes back in again but this time, she just hits his gut again with a headbutt! Wildcard gets to her feet and comes charging in, but she gets SENT DOWN BY RULER WITH THE EVENFLOW DDT! THE WILL OF NICHOLAS! RULER PINS!
Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOO–
Flannery McCoy: Kickout! Wildcard isn’t going to stay down and out that easily! She starts to stir, slowly getting to her knees– BUT SHE INSTANTLY GETS STRUCK DOWN AGAIN BY RULER! REVOLUTIONIZER! THE SPINNING BACK HEEL KICK CONNECTS!
Jake Mercer: My god, he hit that out of nowhere! Wildcard is out! Wow! Did you hear how his foot hit her head too? That was sickening!
Stew-O: Wildcard isn’t moving at all! Ruler pulls her right into the center of the ring and goes in for another cover! This could be it!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOO!
Referee: THREEEEEEEE!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“Prices” begins to blast across the PA system. There’s a mixed reaction from the fans. Ruler sits for a moment and simply grins before he rises to his feet. He raises his arm before looking back at the downed Wildcard with disgust. With a shake of his head, he leaves.)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, HERE IS YOUR WINNER … RUUUUUUUULEEEERRRR!!!!!
Stew-O: Wow! Ruler manages to get the win here tonight with a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Revolutionizer.
Jake Mercer: It was quick but efficient. That brings Ruler up 2-0 against Wildcard, and with that, he has a successful showing in his first match here on Dynasty.
Flannery McCoy: Credit to Wildcard, though. She fought as much as she could and was able to get herself out of a few precarious situations. However, tonight is Ruler’s night.
(Wildcard finally stirs awake. As she comes to, she realizes the outcome of the match and has a disappointed look on her face. It’s the last shot we get before Dynasty fades from ringside.)
( Dynasty opens up backstage and Ryan Wilson comes into view. He is happy as a clam, whistling, and just glad to be back on Friday Night Dynasty, especially under a new regime. He continues whistling his happy tune and rounds the corner, walking straight to the office of Dynasty General Manager, Tyrone Montgomery. Ryan comes to a stop in front of the door, smiles to himself, and then gives a courtesy knock. He does not wait to be invited in. Instead, he barges in, startling Tyrone, who is on the phone. )
Ryan Wilson: Just the man I’ve been looking for!
( Ryan flashes Tyrone a conspiratorial smile, almost as if the two of them are in cahoots together, and to his credit, Tyrone manages not to roll his eyes. He holds a finger up, signaling to Ryan he needs a moment, and begins to wrap up his phone call. )
Tyrone Montgomery: (into the phone) So it’s a done deal?
( There is a pause but clearly Tyrone gets the answer he is looking for from whomever he is speaking to. A slow, cheshire cat like grin spreads across his face. )
Tyrone Montgomery: Beautiful. We can finalize everything in a little bit. Someone just walked into my office.
( A few seconds later, Tyrone disconnects the call and sits his phone down. He leans on his desk and finally he acknowledges Ryan. )
Tyrone Montgomery: What can I do for you, Mr. Wilson?
( It was the moment Ryan Wilson had been waiting for. )
Ryan Wilson: I’m so glad you asked!
( Ryan takes a seat in one of the chairs sat in front of Tyrone’s desk and he gets comfortable. This clearly amuses the new Dynasty General Manager. )
Ryan Wilson: I’m not sure how much research you’ve done into the history of this great company but yours truly ( Ryan points to himself ) used to be the general manager of Showdown.
Tyrone Montgomery: :oh: You don’t say.
Ryan Wilson: Not to brag or anything, but when I ran Showdown, the product was at its very best. It was super competitive. There was a plethora of opportunities to be had for everyone. Elitists were happy and excited to come to work and if I may, I have a few things I would like to run by you. As much as I enjoyed my time on Voltage, I didn’t really feel like I could approach Captain Charisma with my ideas on how to make Voltage more successful.
Tyrone Montgomery: Oh gosh. That must have been terrible for you.
Ryan Wilson: It kind of was. I’m glad you understand. You seem like a man of the people and someone who truly has good intentions when it comes to Dynasty so if I may…
Tyrone Montgomery: By all means.
( Ryan pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket and unfolds it. )
Ryan Wilson: The first thing I would like to propose is that Dynasty implement a tag team tournament. It is obvious to everyone that the Off-Brand Amphetamines aren’t exactly the popular choice for champions so what a tournament could do is build new tag teams and give them fresh competition. They’ll either prove themselves as champions or they’ll be exposed as frauds. This worked wonders on Voltage last season and birthed the Haircare Kings, who went on to have a very nice title reign.
Tyrone Montgomery: Fascinating.
Ryan Wilson: Right? I also would like to suggest that more emphasis be placed on the Specialists division. Once upon a time that belt was defended bi-weekly with stipulations attached to it, giving the champion the opportunity to prove herself as a specialist so to speak. Now I know that Disney is going to limit some of what we can do, and I’m completely fine with that. But stipulations such as ‘I Quit’, submissions only, and iron woman could make for some interesting matches. And when you factor in how talented the women’s division is, this would be a wonderful thing for Dynasty! All that talent right here on Friday nights.
Tyrone Montgomery: Right. Right.
Ryan Wilson: And of course you have some of the very best here in EAW. Astraea Jordan, The Visual Prophet, Andre Walker, Limmy Monaghan, Ryan Wilson, SO-
Tyrone Montgomery:  One of those is not like the others.
Ryan Wilson: :francis: With all due respect, I’m a huge asset to Dynasty. Last season I not only reigned as a champion, but I was a constant fixture in the Voltage main event scene. This season I’m looking to break out once again and win another championship, and I know that Dynasty is going to be a better brand because of my presence. You really got a great Elitist with me, Tyrone. A total steal, and I’m looking forward to becoming a major player here.
( A sugary sweet smile crosses Tyrone’s face. )
Tyrone Montgomery: I truly appreciate your enthusiasm, Mr. Wilson. Truly! I’m very glad that you’re invested in yourself and obviously the interest you’re taking in Dynasty is admirable. While your suggestions come from a good place, I’m fairly confident on the direction I need to take to ensure that Dynasty continues to be the premiere brand in EAW. Furthermore, the phone call you just interrupted was with Hurricane Hawk over on Showdown and we were finalizing a deal to send YOU back to Saturday nights! How does that sound?
( Ryan’s mouth drops open and for a brief moment, the former New Breed Champion is completely speechless. )
Ryan Wilson: Y-you traded me?
Tyrone Montgomery: I sure did! I’m sure Hurricane Hawk and Heidi Huxley will appreciate your input and your ideas over there.
Ryan Wilson: B-but I’m a Dynasty Elitist! You picked me for this brand! I had big plans! It’s being said that Dynasty is the land of opportunity this season!
Tyrone Montgomery: Showdown will provide you with plenty of opportunity, Mr. Wilson! You can test your skills against the likes of Impact, Jack Ripley, Harper Lee, Xander Payne, the Haircare Kings, and so many others! Showdown is extremely stacked with some of the best talent in the world and you’ll certainly find yourself with plenty of challenges :wow:.
( Ryan is about to reply when another knock sounds on Tyrone’s door. Aurora Monroe steps in and Tyrone stands up to greet her. Ryan huffs for a moment but he knows that this is a losing battle and he is destined to head over to Showdown. )
Aurora Monroe: Do you have a moment?
Ryan Wilson: Actually he doesn-
Tyrone Montgomery: ( cutting off Ryan ) Absolutely. Ryan Wilson was just leaving. I wish you nothing but the best of luck on Showdown, Mr. Wilson! Tell Hurricane Hawk I said hello :wow:.
( Ryan glares at Tyrone, but with nothing else to say, he spins around and takes his leave. That leaves Aurora and Tyrone in the office and the gorgeous Elitist extends her hand. )
Aurora Monroe: I thought I would stop by and formally introduce myself. Aurora Monroe.
( Tyrone takes her hand and gives it a shake. )
Tyrone Montgomery: I am well aware of who you are, Aurora Monroe, and it’s nice to meet you in person. Tyrone Mon-
Aurora Monroe: We don’t have to exchange pleasantries, Tyrone. I know who you are. I did seek you out after all.
Tyrone Montgomery: Fair enough. What can I do for you, Miss Monroe?
Aurora Monroe: Aurora is fine. I’m not here to beat around the bush or sugarcoat anything for you. I’ve only been here a handful of months but I can already tell you that Elite Answers Wrestling has never before seen someone like me step through these doors. Division one athlete, dual collegiate athlete in track and basketball, athletically gifted, and absolutely determined and motivated to become one of the all-time greats. I am committed to leaving a lasting impression on this industry, and making sure that the name Aurora Monroe is in every single conversation that matters going forward. I am the biggest and most marketable star that you have on this brand, and if you need further proof of that, watch what happens later on tonight when Bulletstorm absolutely dog walks the so-called Unified Tag Team Champions and makes them look like fools. Once SOSA and I defeat the Off-Brand Amphetamines, we should obviously find ourselves in position to gain a tag team title shot, correct?
( Unable to help it, Tyrone looks impressed. Aurora is indeed every bit as beautiful as she is strong and powerful, and no doubt there’s money to be made there with her. Tyrone is about to reply, when yet another guest waltzes into his office. This person doesn’t even have to knock, seeing as how Ryan Wilson had left the door wide open upon his exit. )
???: TYRONE MONTGOMERY!!! WHAT IT DO BAYBEEE?!?!
( The always charismatic and controversial Dr. Angelo D’Angelo strolls into the office. He is oozing charm and arrogance, and extends his hand to Tyrone, and when the GM takes it, Dr. D’Angelo pulls him in for an embrace. Tyrone seems to be a bit taken aback. )
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: https://streamable.com/d5rxb0
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: My man! It is the honor of my EAW life to see waltz up in here and introduce myself! I am Dr. Angelo D’Angelo, in case you didn’t already know, and I could NOT be more happier to see you standing in this office! This brand has been suffering under the ‘leadership’ ( Dr. D’Angelo makes air quotes as he says the word ‘leadership’ ) of that slave driving Yakubian DEVIL Star Stanley for far too long! I NEVER thought I would live to see the day that we got the white man out of power! We can finally rise up, take control of our own destinies, and put deserving people like the Visual Prophet and Astraea Jordan at the very forefront of this company! It’s an absolute pleasure to be in your presence Tyrone, sincerely and without question :wow:! Thank you for blessing this brand with your African presence and giving good, hard-working brothas like me someone we can finally trust! That crazy looking, bald-headed cac was someone I just never, ever in my life felt comfortable being around.
( Dr. D’Angelo has released Tyrone from the embrace by now, and he is all smiles. He claps Tyrone on the shoulder and shakes his head. )
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: It seems like I have been waiting forever to see a fellow black man have a position of power in this company, and now it feels like all things are possible. Brothas like us, who come from nothing and have made ourselves into something greater than we will ever get the credit for, have to stick together! We have to be the change we wanna see in this world!
( Tyrone flashes Dr. D’Angelo a pleasant smile. )
Tyrone Montgomery: It truly is my pleasure to meet you, Dr. D’Angelo, and your passion for the black community and willingness to fight for it is beyond remarkable. I look forward to working with you, The Visual Prophet, Astraea Jordan, and EVERYONE else this season to help turn Dynasty into an absolute juggernaut of good, clean fun for everyone. My only agenda is to uphold Disney’s guidelines and values, which means that I’m here to promote people from all walks of life. That includes but is not limited to the LGBTQIA community, POCs, non-POCs, and everyone in between. Disney has a large range of audiences we would like for EAW to reach and not limit itself to one particular group.
( Dr. D’Angelo looks truly disturbed by what has just come out of Tyrone’s mouth. Tyrone reaches out and pats the doctor on the shoulder, mimicking Dr. D’Angelo’s motion from earlier. )
Tyrone Montgomery: I hope you understand.
( Dr. D’Angelo tries not to visibly shake with rage having been shut down by Tyrone. He schools his features and simply shakes his head, although this time it is in disgust more than anything else. )
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Lord have mercy another one with their CHIP activated. It looks like we have a little sell-out on our hands now don’t we?
( Dr. D’Angelo turns around, muttering something under his breath that sounds a lot like the word ‘coon’ and that obviously causes Tyrone to raise an eyebrow. )
Tyrone Montgomery: Did you say something, Dr. D’Angelo?
( Dr. D’Angelo doesn’t reply and that’s because he’s noticed the other person in the room. Aurora is standing to his right, with her arms folded across her chest, and she does not look happy at all. Dr. D’Angelo, on the other hand, is practically looking at her with stars in his eyes. )
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Now I don’t believe that the two of us have met…
( The good doctor pauses. )
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Because I would SURELY remember crossing paths with a living, breathing, African goddess! Has anyone ever told you that you look like a modern-day warrior queen? A real life version of Storm? If this is the Disney era and you’re supposed to be Storm, then I’m Professor X! The X is for Malcolm though, not that cac in the comics :troll:.
( Dr. D’Angelo thinks he’s being clever but Aurora is not impressed. )
Aurora Monroe: You do realize that I have been standing here the entire time and that you interrupted a conversation I was having with Tyrone, right?
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: I can promise you that whatever you were discussing with that ass kissing, wannabe cake-eater isn’t going to make a lick of difference in the grand scheme of things because apparently Tyrone Montgomery isn’t a man of the people! He’s not going to look at you as the future champion that you clearly are and you are going to be relegated to facing pampered cacs who only ever got their job thanks to being translucent looking pieces of garbage just like you were over on Showdown. You see, our paths may have never crossed, but Dr. Angelo D’Angelo knows talent when he sees it, and you have it all Aurora! You have absolutely everything needed to become one of the best this sport has ever seen and with the right people backing you, the sky is truly the limit :wow:! I couldn’t think of a better addition for Angelo Enterprises and I think you should join Viz, Astraea, and myself as the real faces of this company! No doubt that together, the four of us could take EAW by storm 😉. Pun intended, obviously.
( Aurora takes a deep breath because obviously her patience has worn off. )
Aurora Monroe: First of all, I don’t appreciate being interrupted and I want to make sure I make that point perfectly clear to you. Do not ever step in the middle of a conversation I am having with someone ever again. Secondly, I am not interested in joining Angelo Enterprises, whatever that even is.
???: And third of all!
( In walks the former EAW World Champion, SOSA Henderson. He flashes a grin at Aurora and slings an arm around her shoulder, before looking at Dr. D’Angelo and lowering his Gucci shades. He fixes Dr. D’Angelo with a glare. )
SOSA Henderson: And third of all, I’m not about to let my new tag team partner get taken advantage of by a scamming ass conman like yourself and a roided up sissy like Viz! I know Viz got some weird ass fetish about getting with girls I been with, but it’s not happening with this one so why don’t you get to steppin’ and leave Aurora the hell alone? You ol goofy ass weird bozo. We’ll both beat the brakes off of all of Angelo Enterprises or whatever your dumbass cult is called. Got it?
Tyrone Montgomery: (under his breath and walking back to his desk ) Well this escalated…
( Dr. D’Angelo takes a deep breath and finally steps back. He reaches into the pocket of his jacket and pulls out a card, which he hands to Aurora. )
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Think about it, Queen, and give me a call. I wish you both nothing but the best tonight.
( Dr. D’Angelo hurries out of there, leaving Aurora and SOSA. Aurora can’t help but laugh and she hands the card over to SOSA. He promptly tears it up and lets the pieces fall to the ground, and then he turns to Tyrone. )
SOSA Henderson: Watch our match.
( Tyrone forces a smile and gives Bulletstorm a thumbs up, and as they head out, the scene fades to black. )
(Soon after, the camera would begin to fade back to ringside, as we see it pan throughout the crowd. They would all be seated awaiting the next contest, and it’d be obviously occurring as the camera fades over to the ring where Stephie Love is standing in the center of the ring, holding an EAW-branded microphone in her hand.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is a TAG TEAM MATCH, and is scheduled… FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(Moments later, ‘Catalina Fight Song’ by Joyce Manor would hit the speakers, as the audience would let out a large boo. None other than Nick Hart would step through the speakers, with a huge smile on his face, as he starts to clap for himself even though no one will join in. He shrugs, before walking down the ramp. Seconds after, his theme song would be replaced as he stops right outside of the ring, when ‘Swallowing the Rabbit Whole’ by Code Orange would play, with the lights dimming red. Shane would walk out sadistically, with a spotlight following him. He’d walk down the ramp, as the duo enter the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… the team of Shane Gates and Nick Hart!!!!!!!!!!!
(Shane Gates’ theme song would slowly fade out, before we hear ‘A Stranger I Remain’ by Free Dominquez replace it. Amir Yusuf would walk out with a slow swagger, and selfish aura to him, as he completely looks away from the crowd, paying them no notice. He doesn’t even look towards his opponent, being completely self-centered, and not caring about much else. His theme song would fade out, though, as ‘The Only Thing They Fear is YOU’ by Mick Gordon replaces it, the crowd reaction remaining sour. Ryan Wilson would walk out through the curtains, a cocky grin on his face, sporting a Canadian-ified version of the Disney logo down his leg. The previously-drafted Elitist would make his way down the ramp alongside Amir, before entering the ring, and heading to their corner.)
Stephie Love: And their opponents… Amir Yusuf, and ‘Mister Wilson’… Ryan Wilsooooon!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: These two teams wasting no time getting to the ring, as they BOTH want a victory in the first match of the season!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we are underway! The bell rings, as Nick Hart and Amir Yusuf begin to circle the ring – just looking for the first opportunity to gain control with a lock-up! Amir Yusuf and Nick Hart both brush arms as they look for an opening, however, it’s Nick Hart who gets the better of Amir as he specializes in the technical aspect of the in-ring side of wrestling, and he’s able to drop to his knee before hooking Amir by his upper leg! He looks to tackle him to the ground, however Amir keeps his stature balanced, and pulls Nick Hart up to his feet! He places Nick Hart in a front facelock- BEFORE TWISTING HIM AROUND FOR THE ROLLING CUTTER!
Flannery McCoy: BUT NICK HART COUNTERS WITH A VICTORY ROLL- yet Amir is able to kick out immediately! The two rush to their feet, but Nick quickly sweeps the leg and is able to enter the lateral press!
OOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE-
Flannery McCoy: Amir pops the shoulder up once again, and they scramble to their feet a second time! They charge, and this time Amir sweeps the leg with his own, before entering a bridging Jacknife!
OOONNNNNNEEEEEE-
Flannery McCoy: However Nick Hart, grabbing Amir by the waist, presses his feet into the mat and begins to push himself up! The two enter a bridging position, before Nick twists Amir over, now being placed on top of him, perhaps ready to lift him up into the Powerbomb position, which usually is followed up by another pinfall – that’s why he’s the master of 1000 pins! Nick Hart lifts Amir up off of his feet, using the height and weight advantage over his opponent – after all Amir is a cruiserweight here – looking to hit that Sit-Out Powerbomb Pin! And it connects!
Jake Mercer: NOPE! Denied! Just like that one match with The Great Fuji back at Super Japan Kingdom 2004, in the Ryōgoku Kokugikan arena – a match Amir OBVIOUSLY studied – Amir connects with a huge facebuster after pushing himself off of Nick’s shoulders! A fantastic counter from The Irreplacable!
Flannery McCoy: That’s… not a real wrestler OR a real show, but I’ll give you credit Jake – that WAS a fantastic counter!
Jake Mercer: It’s ABSOLUTELY a real show, and you shouldn’t diss a legend like that; but it doesn’t matter! Amir knows his stuff, and is able to shoot the half, entering the cover!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
Jake Mercer: But Nick Hart is able to pop his shoulder up! This matchup is already looking promising, and it’s about to get even more promising as Amir Yusuf grabs Nick Hart by the ears, and throws him backward into the corner! Perhaps he’s looking for a superplex, as after connecting with multiple shots to the gut, he lifts Nick hart up to the top rope, before climbing up himself! Amir is definitely planning something big, as he starts to connect with inner forearms to Nick- but Nick slips through the legs! He once again goes for the powerbomb!
(TAG!)
Jake Mercer: AND IT CONNECTS! NICK INTO THE COVER!
Stew-O: Though it ultimately is nullified as Ryan had self-tagged into the match moments prior to that powerbomb, and if Amir wasn’t in pain on the mat now it’d be obvious that he’d have disdain for that – but, truthfully, it just is what it is! Ryan here with his first, and last Dynasty match of the season or what seems like it enters the ring, before grabbing Nick Hart by the head! He pulls him back directly into a Blue Thunder Bomb! ‘La Bombe Bleu’ connects in the center of the ring, yet he doesn’t immediately cover! He stands up, before prodding Amir with his toe in order to push him forward and out of the ring! Ryan shrugs, before covering Nick!
OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Flannery McCoy: But here comes Shane Gates – prematurely breaking up the cover, before Ryan either gets the victory or his own partner gets the cover! He grabs Ryan by his ginger hair, and drags him off the ground, before connecting with a huge spinebuster directly into the corner! He begins to connect with huge punches to the gut, wearing Ryan Wilson down to make sure that he doesn’t fight back! Shane grabs him and sets him up for a huge snap suplex, which he nails!
(Shane Gates upon recovery grabs onto Nick Hart’s wrist, before dragging him over to their corner. Shane exits out onto the apron before grabbing the white ribbon that is tied to the top turnbuckle, before reaching over the top rope and tagging himself into the matchup, similar to how Ryan Wilson did the same thing moments prior. Shane Gates slips through the ropes, before taking the fight to “That Jerk on the Mic” Ryan Wilson.)
Jake Mercer: And here comes Shane-O! He climbs atop Ryan Wilson, before nailing him with some huge hooks to the head! Rights and lefts raining down like it’s nobody’s business, giving him the punishment! Shane Gates is looking to begin the season with a huge victory over two former New Breed Champions in this tag match, and what a victory that would be for him! He has somewhat been straying the same course as Ryan Wilson when it comes to Championships, but this could be a huge recovery for him – and ultimately that’s what you need here in Elite Answers Wrestling, recovery.
Stew-O: That’s correct Jake, the best thing you can do is recover here no matter what – as we’ve seen from the likes of Ronan Malosi consistently, and here we could see Shane do the same thing! He didn’t capture the 24/7 Contract, but perhaps he could pick up another victory that puts him in a Championship Contender’s light? Shane grabs Ryan Wilson by the hair once more, before lifting him up onto his shoulders! He connects with the powerbomb, and we all know this combo! He deadlifts Ryan, going for another powerbomb… connecting there! He lifts him up for a third-
Flannery McCoy: AMIR WITH A LEAPING STOMP TO THE BACK OF SHANE’S LEG, RIGHT ON THE SHIN! Shane buckles, dropping Ryan, before the team begin to clobber Shane with attacks to his back! Ryan rakes it, as Amir connects with a huge kick! Shane stumbles forward into the ropes… BUT HERE COMES NICK HART! HE GRABS RYAN BY THE WAIST, LOOKING FOR A SNAP GERMAN SUPLEX- BUT AMIR CONNECTS WITH A SUPERKICK TO NICK’S JAW! NICK AND SHANE BOTH FALL OUT OF THE RING, ALONG WITH RYAN WILSON! AMIR YUSUF HAS BEEN LEFT AS THE ONLY ONE IN THE RING RIGHT NOW, AND THIS COULD BE TROUBLESOME FOR THE TWO ELITISTS ON THE EXTERIOR!
Jake Mercer: THAT COULD BE TRUE, AS AMIR LOOKS BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THE ROPES BEHIND HIM AND THE ELITISTS OUTSIDE! AMIR HAS SLIGHTLY CHANGED UP HIS MOVE STYLE IN RECENT MEMORY, BUT THERE IS NO DENYING THAT THE VERY CORE OF HIS OFFENSE LIES WITHIN HIGH RISK MANEUVERS, AS HE HAS BEEN ONE OF MANY ELITISTS KNOWN FOR THOSE KINDS OF MOVES! AMIR YUSUF CHARGES HIMSELF UP, BEFORE TAKING A U-TURN TO CONNECT WITH THE ROPES AT THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE RING!
Stew-O: AMIR YUSUF CHARGES BACK TO THE SIDE OF THE RING WHERE HIS OPPONENTS AND SUBSEQUENT TAG TEAM PARTNER ARE STANDING, BEFORE LEAPING ONTO THE MIDDLE ROPE WITH A SINGLE FOOT! ALMOST INSTANTLY HE’S ABLE TO FLIP HIMSELF OVER, CONNECTING WITH A STEP-UP SENTON BOMB TO THE OUTSIDE, TAKING EVERYBODY OUT! AMIR YUSUF JUST TOOK A HIGH RISK HIGH REWARD SCENARIO, AND IT PAID OFF! AMIR IS QUICK BACK TO HIS FEET, BEFORE GRABBING RYAN AND THROWING HIM INTO THE RING, FOLLOWED UP BY SHANE GATES! AMIR IS LOOKING TO PICK UP A VICTORY JUST LIKE THE OTHERS, AS THE FIRST MATCH OF THE SEASON!
(Amir Yusuf looks around at the cheering crowd, excited to see him busting out a maneuver such as that. Amir shakes his head, before slapping a beer out of a crowd member’s hand, before grabbing a kid’s sign reading “Joso Don’t Miss!” before tearing it up, just to turn them against him. He’s proving he’s not doing this for them anymore, and it succeeds. The crowd immediately starts to boo, and Amir seems satisfied. He turns around and begins to walk up the steps, as Ryan and Shane recover to their feet.)
Flannery McCoy: That was an awful follow-up from Amir Yusuf, however, as he didn’t need to do any of that! He didn’t need to antagonise our good, paying fans, but alas he did it! Amir is all about Amir, but that seems too far to me. That is wasted money! Ryan and Shane both recover back to their feet, before they begin to trade blows to the head! Ryan connects with a huge one to the right side of Shane’s face, and forces him to stumble back into the ropes- BEFORE SHANE KNOCKS RYAN DOWN WITH A HUGE BIG BOOT! HE GRABS RYAN AND LIFTS HIM BACK UP, BEFORE THROWING HIM INTO THE CORNER AND TAGGING IN NICK!
(TAG!)
Flannery McCoy: Nick Hart slips through the ropes, before he and Shane grab Ryan by the head! They drag Ryan away from the corner, before connecting with a huge snap suplex much like earlier! However, we see Nick Hart hold onto Ryan’s head, before floating over! He lifts Ryan off the ground, before lifting Ryan into the air… BEFORE DROPPING HIM STRAIGHT INTO THE HOVERBOARD LOCK! A FANTASTIC TRANSITION INTO THE SUBMISSION, AS RYAN GRABS ONTO HIS ARM IN PAIN! HE CAN’T CLUTCH BOTH ARMS IN ORDER TO DEFEND!
Stew-O: RYAN WILSON’S ARM IS ABOUT TO BE RIPPED OFF BY NICK HART, DIRECTLY OUT OF THE SOCKET! AN ARM BAR IS TERRIBLE FOR BOTH THE BONE AND THE MUSCLES, AND IF RYAN ISN’T CAREFUL HE COULD TAP OUT IMMEDIATELY! RYAN IS TRYING SO HARD TO EXIT THIS HOLD THAT NICK HART HAS COMPLETELY MASTERED, AND GIVEN HE’S NOWHERE NEAR THE ROPES, THIS COULD BE DEVASTATING FOR RYAN! HE’S GONNA TAP! HE’S GONNA TAP- NO! HERE COMES AMIR, WITH A HUGE STOMP TO NICK HART’S HEAD, BREAKING UP THE HOLD! RYAN IS FREE, AS AMIR THEN SPRINTS TO SHANE!
Jake Mercer: A HUGE RUNNING FOREARM FROM AMIR STUNS SHANE RIGHT HERE, BEFORE HE TURNS BACK TO FACE NICK! AMIR SPRINTS FORWARD AND TACKLES HIM, STUMBLING BACK INTO THE TURNBUCKLES! AMIR THROWS PUNCHES OVER AND OVER, LOOKING TO TAKE NICK OUT – BUT NICK THROWS HIM OUT ONTO THE APRON, BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HUGE APRON STUNNER! AMIR IS STUNNED, ZERO PUN INTENDED, AS NICK GRABS ONTO HIS GUT! BUT HE DOESN’T SEE RYAN, WHO IS SETTING HIM UP FOR THE “FOUR HIT COMBO!” RYAN IS CHARGING UP THE SUPERKICK, AND IT’S ABOUT TO CONNECT… BUT THEY BOTH HIT IT!
(Ryan and Nick both superkick each other, before they each tumble down to the mat, barely conscious. Ryan is seen holding his forehead, whereas Nick his jaw, as their tag team partners slowly come back to their senses. Shane and Amir call for their partners to recover, and slowly but surely, they begin to do so. Nick Hart starts to crawl over to his corner, whereas Ryan does towards his, as they look toward their own tag partners. Eventually, after momentary crawling, the two leap into the air before tagging the hands of their tag team partners.)
(TAG!)
(TAG!)
Stew-O: AND HERE THEY COME! AMIR AND SHANE ENTER THE RING, BUT SHANE IS THE ONE WHO IMMEDIATELY GETS THE OFFENSE IN! HE CLOBBERS AMIR WITH A CLOTHESLINE, SENDING HIM DOWN TO THE MAT, BEFORE AMIR SCURRIES BACK UP TO HIS FEET FOR ANOTHER! THE SECOND CONNECTS, AS SHANE TAKES AMIR DIRECTLY DOWN TO THE MAT!
Flannery McCoy: SHANE HERE ISN’T DONE THOUGH, AS HE GRABS AMIR BY THE TIGHTS AND LIFTS HIM UP! HE HOOKS THE ARM LOOKING FOR THAT RIPCORD LARIAT, AND IT CONNECTS… NO! AMIR FLOATS UNDER! ‘WHEN REALITY HITS’!!!! ROLLING CUTTER ON SHANE! THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS… THE COMBINED TEAM OF RYAN WILSON, AND AMIIIIR YUSUUUF!!!!!
(‘A Stranger I Remain’ by Free Dominquez hits the speakers, as the crowd would immediately start to boo. Amir Yusuf rolls away from Shane Gates’ prone body, as the camera pans and zooms in to show a huge smirk plastered upon his face. Amir would slowly rise up off the ground, before the referee raises his arm. Soon after, Ryan Wilson would use the ropes to stand back up, heading back over to Amir and the referee. His hand is raised up soon after, also, as they both look to celebrate on the top rope.)
Stew-O: And there we have it! Amir Yusuf picks up the victory for his team with Ryan Wilson, and honestly, if you were surprised you shouldn’t be. Not because their opponents were bad, but because they were too good. There’s a reason they both became New Breed Champion, there’s a reason why they both have EAW Awards – such as 1x Rookie of the Year and 1x Feud of the Year. Because they have a lot of potential to succeed here, and they’re fulfilling that potential!
Flannery McCoy: That’s absolutely true Stew-O, and even though neither of them were able to end the previous season with a victory that they desired – having both lost at Pain For Pride – this season is a fresh one for them. Although Ryan Wilson has been aforementioned drafted, they have big things coming to their seasons if they keep at it the way they did tonight, and despite my disdain for the way they both handle business, it’s hard to deny their overall talent!
Jake Mercer: Absolutely! They both have history yet were able to pull it out of the bag, much like that one scenario back in that one company over in Egypt just a few years ago, iykyk!
Flannery McCoy: :flabbynsick:
Jake Mercer: That doesn’t matter though, because tonight it’s about these two men! Former New Breed Champions, and plausible FUTURE champions on their respective brands! Especially that man Amir as he busted out a fantastic performance against Nick Hart and Shane Gates, culminating in a victory that he is absolutely delighted to see!
(Amir Yusuf and Ryan Wilson, standing on the turnbuckles, would bask in the victory that they just racked up, despite their differences. The crowd would have an absolutely negative reaction, however, that truly doesn’t matter to them in the slightest. Amir and Ryan would hop off the turnbuckles, before standing in the center of the ring. Ryan looks to go for a handshake, and Amir grabs his hand-)
Jake Mercer: OH, WAIT A SECOND! AMIR JUST PUSHED RYAN BACK INTO THE TURNBUCKLES, BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HUGE HELLUVA KICK STRAIGHT TO THE JAW! RYAN WILSON FALLS FACE-FIRST INTO THE MAT, AND I REALLY DON’T KNOW WHAT JUST HAPPENED!
Stew-O: FROM THE LOOKS OF THINGS, JAKE, AMIR DOESN’T NEED RYAN ANYMORE! THEY WON THEIR MATCH, AND NOW AMIR WANTS HIM OUT OF HIS HAIR! I CAN ONLY ASSUME HE DID IT FOR GOOD MEASURE!
(Amir Yusuf stumbles away from the turnbuckles, looking down at Ryan Wilson – who is feasibly unconscious at this point – with a satisfied grin on his face. What Stew-O predicted could be close, though, Amir is showing no signs of what he actually believes, as he does nothing but mutter a few short words…)
Amir Yusuf: (off-mic) Good riddance.
(Amir Yusuf turns around from Ryan, before slipping through the ropes as ‘A Stranger I Remain’ once again hits the speakers. Amir is seen walking up the ramp, before Dynasty fades to commercial break.)
(A commercial for the Disney + show ‘Obi Wan Kenobi’ plays, stream all episodes now.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns as we see a shot of the packed out arena before the camera transitions to the stage. )
( ‘Demeanor‘ by Pop Smoke & Dua Lipa begins to play as the crowd jumps up to their feet to deliver a deafening amount of boos. )
Stephie Love: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome… the EAW SPECIALISTS CHAMPION!!! SERENITYYYY VALDEZZZ!!!!!!
Stew-O: Last week Serenity Valdez found herself victorious as she would go head to head against not one but two of EAW’s finest champions just one week removed from winning the Specialist Championship at Pain For Pride.
Flannery McCoy: But Serenity’s celebration would be short lived as she was immediately ambushed by Diamond Dixon following last week’s amazing triple threat. Tonight there’s no doubt in my mind that Serenity is looking to get some answers for what transpired last week.
Jake Mercer: How dare Diamond lay a finger on Serenity. You know in her free time Serenity spoon feeds soup to the elderly. She’s a giver! A saint! I heard once she donated the entirety of her paycheck to building homes for lower income squirrels!! True story!!
Stew-O & Flannery: :jr:
( The crowd continues to boo as Serenity makes her way down the entrance ramp and into the ring where she asks for a microphone as ‘ Demeanor ‘ begins to fade. )
Serenity Valdez: Last week at the Draft show I kicked off the Season the only way I knew how. In a match against two of EAW’s must-see Champions, I defeated BOTH of them and made it known just how damn good I am. They had their doubts, hell, everyone did. But all those doubters are nothing more than believers now and you can do nothing but acknowledge my greatness. Does that not do it for you? Alright, let’s backtrack. Pain For Pride 15, that week I defeated my biggest rival to win my first Championship in this company. Capping off what was already an amazing rookie Season in a big way… did I mention it was only my rookie Season? Yeah, exactly. And even then, how many of you losers can say you walked into your first Pain For Pride and walked out champion?
( Serenity pauses as the crowd begins to boo before she continues to speak. )
Serenity Valdez: Huh? Huh? Exactly. None of you. So instead of booing me, you should actually be cheering me. You don’t have the right to disrespect me when I’ve done more in less than a year than you have in your entire lives. I proved myself to be a top talent here in less than a year. I broke through barrier after barrier in pursuit of greatness, and even though there were roadblocks in my way, here I am. And if last week at the Draft show was any indication of what’s to come, then let’s just say that this season is going to be one for the record books. With Friday Night Dynasty clamoring at the opportunity of having one of the best Elitists in this company back on their brand, this season is going to be the season that transforms Serenity Valdez from being a top talent, to a generational talent.
( The crowd boo’s heavily as Serenity ignores them and begins pacing around the ring with a stern look on her face before she places a hand over her Specialist Championship and continues on with a more determined tone. )
Serenity Valdez: But before I do that. I have a slight problem I need to deal with, and I’m sure you all know exactly what I’m talking about. Last week, after I put on the obvious match of the night and put those two in their place, I didn’t even get the chance to enjoy my hard-fought victory before I was blindsided and ambushed by Diamond Dixon. A name who, by the way, I didn’t even know until a few days ago! And that’s where I have a problem. A problem that an attack like that made evident, that even after everything I’ve done in this company I’ve been disrespected and dragged through the mud. Especially with the beginning of a new era for myself, I’m going to make sure that ends now.
Serenity Valdez: I understand that I’m the Specialist Champion. I understand that I’m one of the best elitists in this company. And I realize that with that being the case, there are going to be a lot of unworthy and undeserving bottomfeeders that’ll try to leech off my success in a failed attempt at reviving their pathetic careers. But while I understand the reason, my problem still persists. As I said before, I understand I’m a top talent in EAW and I have a target on my back, but there are better ways to have garnered my attention other than proceeding with such aforementioned disrespect through assaulting me. I mean, I know things haven’t been great for you as of late, Diamond. As impossible of a task as that may be, not getting on the Pain For Pride card must’ve eaten you alive on the inside. But I at least assumed you were somewhat better than that. But obviously, I was wrong.
( Serenity unstraps the Specialist Championship from around her waist and places it on her shoulder as she continues speaking. )
Serenity Valdez: And it’s not too often that, that’s the case. But hey, for what it’s worth at least you got your fifteen minutes of fame, Diamond. Lord knows you needed it. You attacked me and gained all the attention and traction you needed in one fell swoop, all because your name appeared next to mine in headlines and articles. If you were anyone else, I may have been worried, I may have been a little intimidated. But you’re literally Diamond Dixon, half the people in the audience didn’t know who you were before you attacked me. And I don’t blame them because you don’t exactly strike me as someone important. I mean sure you have your cute little talk show and everything. Where you leech off of other Elitist’s drama because you’re unable to manufacture anything interesting yourself… but other than that? You have nothing. Diamond, honey, you need to get it through your head right now– you are nothing. You don’t even deserve to breathe the same air that I breathe, let alone be in the same ring as me. And the funny thing is, Diamond, you know this too. Deep down you know you made the biggest mistake of your life, and you’re way out of your league.
( The crowd begins to boo as a smile starts to form on the face of Serenity as she repositions the Specialist Championship on her shoulder and stares directly into the camera almost as if she’s was staring into the eyes of Diamond Dixon herself )
Serenity Valdez: But oh well, what’s done is done. You already drew a line in the sand, and now you have my full undivided attention! As much as you don’t deserve even the slightest of my time and patience, you started this, and now I will end it. So how about you come out here and explain yourself, Diamon-
( But before Serenity can continue ‘ Bussin ‘ by Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby plays over the speakers as the crowd goes into a frenzy awaiting Diamond Dixon’s entrance! Meanwhile Serenity turns to look at the stage with an unamused look forming on her face as she awaits the woman who ambushed her just a week ago. The crowd is still in an uproar awaiting the arrival of Diamond Dixon, as Serenity starts to look around making hand gesture wondering why Diamond hasn’t made her way out of Guerilla yet, before ‘ Bussin ‘ begins to fade out leaving the crowd along with Serenity perplexed. Serenity for the most part, doesn’t seem that happy with the fakeout, and the continued disrespect doesn’t do much for her patience either. After a bit, she shakes her head and brings her microphone back up to continue. )
Serenity Valdez: You see? This is just more of what I was talking about earlier. Bottom feeders trying to leech off my success in order to make a name for themselves. Of course you’re willing to attack me when I least expect it, but when I invite you out so that we can settle this face to face, you’re nowhere to be found. You’d rather play mind games, in a petty attempt to feel as if you have something over me. But let’s face it, Diamond, you don’t. Nice try, and like I said before if you were anyone else this would’ve done something. But you’re Diamond Dixon, a nobody, so sorry to tell you, this doesn’t change anything. I was trying to do you a favor by giving you the attention you so obviously want and need, and in the end you still couldn’t bring yourself to step into the same ring as me. You may think you did something here tonight, but all you actually did is prove me right. You really aren’t worth my time or energy. You’re a nobody, sis. And you’re trying to use me as a lifeline to save your already failing career, and that is just pathetic. If I were you, for your own sake, I wouldn’t even bother.
( The crowd begins to boo as ‘Demeanor‘ by Pop Smoke & Dua Lipa hits before Serenity drops the microphone and steps out of the ring begins walking up the entrance ramp. She pauses for a second before raising her Specialist Championship in the air much to the dismay of the crowd, before the scene fades out from there. )
(Commercial for the game Sonic Frontiers, coming out this winter.)
(Dynasty returns to ringside, and Bella Braxton is seen standing in the middle of the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for…ONE FALL!!!!!!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!!!!!
(‘Sweet Caroline’ by Neil Diamond would begin to blast through the arena to an extremely loud positive reaction, at the arrival of Caroline who walks through the curtain! Looking as joyful as ever, Caroline would skip her way down to the ring, listening to everyone in attendance sing her theme as she enters the ring and backs into her corner!)
Stephie Love: Introducing first…from Paducah, Kentucky…weighing in at 109 pounds…she is…SWEET CAROLINE!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: At Pain For Pride XV, Caroline lost a ‘Medical Mayhem’ Match to her former mentor, Dr. Bethany Blue. But with Season 16 now here, Caroline is looking to get much needed momentum, and she looks to do that by beating a Hall Of Famer, Madison Kaline!
Stew-O: But of course, that’s going to be a hard task. In which I am sure that Caroline understands that, and I know that she is going to do whatever it takes to make sure that she can walk out of Dynasty with the victory over this Hall Of Famer, and I am sure she wouldn’t have that any other way!
Jake Mercer: Ohhhh Sweeeetttt Carroooolllineeeeeee!!!! :singing:!!!!!
(‘Sweet Caroline’ would fade out.)
Jake Mercer: OHHHH-…:mjcry:
(It would then be replaced by ‘O Fortuna’ by Carl Orff, as the positive reaction would quickly change to a loud and mixed, but also negative reaction, as Madison Kaline would walk through the curtain. Looking as cocky and confident as ever, she would breathe in all the hate, and walk down the rampway, taunting everyone in attendance. She rolls into the ring, before backing into her corner.)
Stephie Love: And her opponent…from Tampa Bay, Florida…weighing in at 120 pounds…she is The ‘Mistress Of Death’…MADISON KALINE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: And unlike Sweet Caroline, Madison Kaline was able to pick up a victory at Pain For Pride XV against former Queen’s Court stablemate, Amber Keys! Madison was able to pick up the huge win, and now, she looks to start Season 16 off right by beating Caroline!
Jake Mercer: Did you know that there are actually way older versions of The Queen’s Court? And it dates all the way back to the 1860s! Crazy, right?
Flannery McCoy: Can you stop your nonsense already?
(DING! DING! DING!)
Flannery McCoy: MADISON KALINE AIN’T WASTING ANYTIME! She runs right at Caroline and catches her with a big boot while she was still in the corner! Madison now pulls Caroline to the middle of the ring, and I think that Madison is looking to end this early! Caroline is trying to fight back, but she is still weary from that big boot, as Maddie now grabs Caroline, and she connects with a release german suplex! Caroline lands hard, and Madison is going for the early cover in this Match! This could be it already!
OONNNEEEE!!!
T-
Stew-O: But Caroline with the easy kickout! Madison Kaline started this Match HOT, as Caroline didn’t know what hit her, but now it’s the referee that pulls Madison away as he goes to check on Caroline to see if she can continue. Caroline waves it off, letting him know she can as she staggers up to her feet, and Maddie goes right back at her, but Caroline sidesteps it and catches her by the arm! Caroline flips her over, before wrenching the arm, before letting go as she runs the ropes, and she looks to go for a knee to the side of the head!
Jake Mercer: Kaline moves out of the way, and you can tell that Caroline is still feeling the effects of that early storm as she slowly is able to get back up to her feet, and Madison tries to capitalize, but Caroline won’t have any of that as she catches her with a forearm! And another! Caroline overwhelms Madison Kaline into the ropes, before connecting with an uppercut! She now grabs Madison by the arm, throwing her off the ropes, as she rebounds, and Caroline goes for a shoulder tackle-…but it didn’t affect Madison, and she feels the impact instead going down!
Flannery McCoy: Madison Kaline now runs the ropes once more, but Caroline is immediately back up-…but I think Madison anticipated it, as she stops in her tracks, before sliding towards Caroline and catching her in a side lock, dragging and flipping her right back down onto the mat! Caroline has nowhere to go, as Madison continues to wrench on the head, before moving to the waist, as she drives her knee right into the side of Caroline! She is definitely feeling the effects of that, but she is able to slip her way out of Madison’s grasp, getting back up to her feet but she falls to her knees.
Jake Mercer: Maddie looks to grab Caroline, but it’s ‘Sweet’ Caroline who is able to fight away from it. She gets back up to her feet, as Madison looks to swing at her, but Caroline ducks it, before running the ropes and catching her with a swift dropkick! That takes Madison down, but she gets right back up…only to be met with an armdrag! Caroline is trying to fight out of this after the start of this Match, as she runs the ropes again, as Madison is back up and is met with another swift armdrag!
Stew-O: And Caroline follows that up with a kick right to the head of Madison Kaline, and that keeps her down! If Caroline can beat a Hall Of Famer tonight, that will be huge! Caroline now moves to the top rope…but it’s Maddie who meets her up there, and connects with a forearm strike! Madison jumps down from the ropes, and pulls Caroline off with her as she connects with a HUGE slap that echoes around the arena, and Caroline just crumbles right down! And you can hear the sickening laugh from Madison, as Caroline is struggling!
Flannery McCoy: Caroline starts to stagger back up to her feet, but Madison Kaline grabs her by the arm, and sends her into the corner! Madison takes a bit of time to show off, before running into the corner but Caroline manages to get out of the dodge, before she drops down, and she catches Madison into a rollup- but no! Madison rolls away from it, and back up to her feet-…but she can’t escape it this time! Caroline drops down Madison’s body and once more into a rollup! Now the pin!
OOOONNNNNNEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Madison Kaline is able to kickout, but look! Caroline gets right up to her feet while Maddie is down on her knees, and she dropkicks Madison, and that sends her through the bottom rope and down to the outside floor! Caroline sees what she did, as Madison slowly makes it back up to her feet…and I know what Caroline is thinking! CAROLINE IS RUNNING THE ROPES, AS SHE LOOKS TO DIVE THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE, AND SHE DOES AS SHE CATCHES MADISON KALINE! INCOMING!!!!!-
Stew-O: NO!!! MADISON MOVES OUT OF THE WAY, AND CAROLINE IS ABLE TO LAND ON HER FEET, BUT IMMEDIATELY SHE IS MET WITH ANOTHER BIG BOOT BY MADISON KALINE! The smirk on Madison’s face isn’t leaving as she picks up the deadweight of Caroline, and throws her into the ring. All the while look! The referee is starting a count, but I don’t think it matters!
ONE-
Flannery McCoy: WAIT!!! INCOMING!!! CAROLINE WAS ABLE TO GET RIGHT BACK UP TO HER FEET, AND SHE RAN THE ROPES AGAIN AND WAS ABLE TO CONNECT WITH THE SUICIDE DIVE DDT THIS TIME, AS MADISON KALINE DIDN’T SEE IT COMING! MADISON IS OUT, AND NOW CAROLINE HAS TO GET HER INTO THE RING, BUT THE REFEREE IS STARTING A COUNT ONCE MORE!
ONE!
TWO!
Jake Mercer: Caroline is trying to pick up the deadweight of Madison Kaline, and get her into the ring, but I think it’s too difficult as Madison just falls down to her knees, and Caroline seems to look exhausted!
THREE!
FOUR!
Stew-O: Caroline tests her luck again in getting Madison Kaline into the ring, but once again Madison falls to her knees, and I think that Caroline is just going to ditch her! Caroline leaves Madison, as she looks to roll into the ring!
FIVE!
SIX!
Flannery McCoy: WAIT! MADISON KALINE IS UP, AND SHE GRABS CAROLINE BY THE FOOT WHICH KEEPS HER FROM ENTERING THE RING! MADISON PULLS CAROLINE BACK, BEFORE THROWING HER RIGHT INTO THE BARRICADE, AND CAROLINE HIT HARD! Madison Kaline is just laughing now as she grabs Caroline, and throws her back into the ring, following her to break the count! Madison Kaline is now pacing around the ring, before she goes back over to Caroline who can be seen crawling around. Madison picks Caroline up, and I think she is looking to finish this Match right here-
Jake Mercer: ‘IT’S A CHEEROCRACY’!!! MADISON KALINE DIDN’T SEE IT COMING AND CAROLINE HITS HER WITH THE GORY SPECIAL, MADISON HAS NOWHERE TO GO…BUT WAIT! CAROLINE DITCHES THE SUBMISSION ASPECT, AND JUST DROPS HER WITH A GORY BOMB! AND SHE DROPS INTO A PIN! THIS COULD BE IT RIGHT HERE! CAROLINE CAN WIN! SHE’S GOING TO BEAT A HALL OF FAMER!
OOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TTTT-
Stew-O: BUT NO! The gory special wasn’t enough to keep Madison Kaline down, as she was able to get the shoulder up! You can see a bit of frustration from Caroline, but she shrugs it off as she knows she has to do a lot more! Caroline now picks Madison back up-…but Madison connects with an uppercut that staggers Caroline! She now runs the ropes, and connects with a spear! That cut Caroline right in half, as Madison easily takes control back of this Match!
Flannery McCoy: Caroline has nowhere to go, as Madison now is just taunting her! Madison pulls Caroline back up to her feet, but it’s Caroline fighting back! Caroline is fighting back and she is overwhelming Madison Kaline, as she now runs the ropes…BUT MADISON! MADDIE CATCHES CAROLINE WITH THE ‘M.O.D.’!!!! THE M.O.D CONNECTS, BUT MADISON ISN’T DONE…AS SHE NOW CONNECTS WITH A STANDING VERSION OF THE ‘MADDIE BOMB’!! STANDING MOONSAULT CONNECTS, AND A COVER!!
OOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TTTTHHHHHHHHHRRR-
Jake Mercer: CAROLINE BARELY GETS OUT OF IT! Just barely, Caroline is able to survive this Match, and Madison Kaline looks pissed! She is back up to her feet, and I think I know what she is going for next! Caroline staggers up to her feet, and Madison runs the ropes!! ‘AFTERLIFE’ CLOTHESLINE!!! NO!!! CAROLINE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY, AND GRABS MADDIE BY THE ARM AND FLIPS HER WITH AN ARMDRAG! CAROLINE IS FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE RIGHT NOW!
Stew-O: And now Caroline grabs Madison Kaline by the hand, and she runs the ropes, springboarding them before connecting with the backflip DDT! ‘Kewl’ connects, but Caroline isn’t done as she runs the ropes again, and connects with a standing shooting star press!!! Caroline goes for the cover, but it’s Madison Kaline who rolls out of bounds and into the ropes, and you can tell that Caroline is just getting even more frustrated! Madison makes it up to her feet on the apron, but Caroline runs the ropes…only to be caught with a sucker punch by Maddie!
Flannery McCoy: Madison Kaline re-enters the ring, but Caroline is still fighting back, continuing to overwhelm her! Madison pushes her back, but once more Caroline runs at her, and catches her with a knee right to the skull!! That must have dazed Madison, as Caroline now jumps onto the ropes, and she connects with a leg drop to a bent over Madison! Caroline is on a roll here, and I don’t think that’s going to stop! She might beat the Hall Of Famer here right now!
Jake Mercer: Caroline looks to exit onto the apron, but it’s Madison Kaline who is back up to her feet to stop her! Madison pulls Caroline back to the center of the ring, but Caroline connects with a chop right to the chest! And another! AND ANOTHER! Rapid chops by Caroline that sends Madison right down to her knees! Caroline rebounds the ropes, and catches Maddie with a knee right to the face, and Maddie goes down! Caroline is feeling it right now, and this Match might be coming to an end very soon!
Stew-O: Caroline pulls Madison Kaline back up to her feet, and Madison swings at her! But she misses, and Caroline catches her with a northern lights suplex, but she can’t follow up with the roll through and double foot stomp! Caroline slowly makes it back up to her feet, as you can see that Madison hasn’t moved! Caroline now leans against the ropes, waiting for Maddie as she slowly starts to make some movement, being able to get back up to her feet. She’s up, and now Caroline runs right at her!!!
Flannery McCoy: MADISON KALINE CATCHES CAROLINE WITH A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! CAROLINE GOES ACROSS THE RING, BUT SHE IS ABLE TO QUICKLY STAGGER BACK UP TO HER FEET, PERHAPS ON INSTINCT, BUT IT DOESN’T MATTER AS MADISON CONNECTS WITH A BIG BOOT! CAROLINE DOESN’T GO DOWN, AND SHE LEANS AGAINST THE ROPES! MADISON KALINE NOW RUNS THE ROPES…’AFTERLIFE’! THE AFTERLIFE CLOTHESLINE…BUT CAROLINE WAS ABLE TO MOVE AGAIN! CAROLINE DROPPED DOWN, AND NOT ON PURPOSE BUT SHE HAS HER BEARINGS! CAROLINE MOVES ONTO THE APRON AND I DON’T THINK MADISON KNOWS! MADISON LOOKS AROUND…BEFORE SPOTTING CAROLINE!! BUT CAROLINE SPRINGBOARDS!!!
Jake Mercer: GO! FIGHT! WIN! IT HITS! IT CONNECTS! PHOENIX DRAGONRANA BY CAROLINE! IT’S OVER! CAROLINE HAS BEAT MADISON-
Stew-O: WAIT! WAIT! MADISON KALINE CAUGHT CAROLINE AND HOLDS HER IN A POWERBOMB POSITION! CAROLINE HAS NOWHERE TO GO, AS MADISON LIFTS HER UP…AND CONNECTS WITH A POWERBOMB! CAROLINE IS OUT, BUT MADISON HOLDS ON, AS SHE BRINGS HER BACK UP…BEFORE DROPPING HER DOWN, AND CAROLINE IS LEFT STANDING! CAROLINE HAS NO CLUE WHERE SHE IS, AND MADISON KALINE RUNS THE ROPES! CAROLINE CAN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT… AND SHE IS HIT WITH ‘AFTERLIFE’!! THE AFTERLIFE CLOTHESLINE FINALLY CONNECTS, AND CAROLINE CRUMBLES! MADISON PULLS CAROLINE TO THE CENTER RING! AND A PIN! IT’S OVER!
OOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘O Fortuna’ would blast through the arena to a huge negative reaction, as Madison Kaline quickly gets back up to her feet, surprised by the battle that she had just endured. Madison gets her arm raised by the referee, as she falls to a knee, and breathes in all the hate, while celebrating the victory.)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…MADISON KALINE!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: WHAT A MATCH! Caroline brought everything that she had, but in the end, it wasn’t enough! Madison Kaline was able to hit the Afterlife clothesline, and it was all said and done from there, and she picked up the victory!
Flannery McCoy: You can only applaud Caroline’s effort in this Match, however! She risked everything to beat a Hall Of Famer, and she came close on a couple of occasions! Caroline definitely has something going for her, but tonight, it was all Maddie. Congratulations to Madison Kaline!
(Madison Kaline would continue to celebrate her victory, as the last image is of Caroline, on the outside of the ring looking on disappointed. The camera would fade from there.)
( The camera opens up to a shot of a backstage locker room for Friday Night Dynasty, before panning to show The Visual Prophet, Astraea Jordan, and Dr. Angelo D’Angelo engaged in a heated conversation. )
Astraea Jordan: Look Angelo, you brought me into the fold not only because you wanted to help me elevate, but because you wanted to create a strong unstoppable unit that commands respect from these mfs in the back. This is the perfect opportunity to show what we about by putting that dreaded gremlin and his latest broad in their place. We need to go and handle that. Ain’t no way they think they’re just going to get away with talking to you like that. At the very least they could have shown you a little respect but they didn’t and that isn’t sitting right with me. After all you do for us as people that seems like the bare minimum. Guarantee that energy woulda been real different if we was there.
( Dr. Angelo D’Angelo attempts to speak to defuse the situation but is cut off by Viz before he can even get a word out. )
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: –
The Visual Prophet: Nah. That ain’t cool, not even in the slightest. Like she said, I don’t know what made them think they could talk to you like that. We are of esteemed authority you hear me? They are behaving like we aren’t who we is. But I’m not going for it. Nah. No way. I wish I was there— I’d like to see them try that sh-
(Dr. Angelo D’Angelo chimes in before Viz can finish his sentence)
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Hold on Viz! Astraea! STOP! Wait a minute. Hold on! It’s alright brother. No harm no foul.
Astraea Jordan: No harm no foul? They just disrespected you on live TV. The entire world just saw what they did to you? And you aren’t the least bit upset by it? I just wish we were there–
(Dr. Angelo D’Angelo tries to calm Astraea down before he interrupts her mid-sentence and begins to speak with a more tense tone.)
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: My sister, my Ebony Ebonics spewing iconic Jet Beauty of the Week… it’s like I said. No harm no fo—
(This time it’s The Visual Prophet interjecting before Dr. Angelo D’Angelo can finish his sentence, but unlike Dr. Angelo D’Angelo, The Visual Prophet’s tone and demeanor are more serious.)
The Visual Prophet: I don’t want to hear none of that Angelo. They didn’t just disrespect you. They disrespected the movement. They disrespected me, and they disrespected Astraea. And I find that interesting considering not too long ago I already proved to SOSA that he is nowhere near the man that he thinks he is, but clearly ashy feet ain’t learn his lesson!
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: I hear you Viz, and I wish things went another way, but I really think I was close to having a breakthrough with Aurora before SOSA had to go and put in his two cents.
Astraea Jordan: See I’m glad you mentioned that because I need help understanding something. I don’t see why we need Aurora.. when you already have me. I’m better in every way, shape, and form, so why go out of your way to recruit a cheap knockoff?
( Astraea’s words obviously catch Dr. Angelo D’Angelo off guard as he turns to look at her with an understanding look forming on his face before he continues to speak. )
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: This shouldn’t be about your ego or your pride. The fact of the matter is as African-Americans, we are stronger together. WE ARE A UNIT! U-N-I-T-Y!!! We are better together. This isn’t about just one of us, this is about all of us. And the last thing we need is to be at odds with one another! Alone, you’ve both done great things, but together what you can accomplish is limitless. As a people, if we come together there is no limit or bounds on what we can make happen. But we can’t continue to divide, and go at one another’s throat— my brother and sister we must come together if we truly want to dismantle the European Power Structure!
( The Visual Prophet and Astraea Jordan both seem to be taken aback by the words of Dr. Angelo D’Angelo, as they sit there stunned by the revelation of Dr. Angelo D’Angelo and his vision for them. )
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: I know right now emotions are high and feelings may be hurt. But I ask, that out of respect for me, you both stand down and allow me to handle this. I have not stirred or led you wrong. I will not lead you astray. Regardless of how Aurora reacted earlier, I do believe she and I were in the process of making a breakthrough. I can feel it. She wants to be one of us. And her disrespecting us was her way of releasing the guilt she feels for wanting to branch away from that Negropean SOSA. That CHIP is activated and SOSA is pushing the buttons that keep that CHIP activated. We gotta hack her mainframe and disable that COON CHIP once and for all. Like The Matrix but with more black people you understand? Now you see the common man wouldn’t understand that. They wouldn’t be able to see the signs. But Angelo D’Angelo, can see the signs. I think we should give Aurora another week to think things over. And if things don’t go our way, then we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. But until then, we should wait.
( The Visual Prophet takes a moment to process everything Dr. Angelo D’Angelo just said before he finally collects his thoughts and begins to speak. )
The Visual Prophet: I understand where you’re coming from. If this kumbaya, togetherness stuff is what you feel is best for all of us then I’m all in for giving it a chance. But if it doesn’t work out then don’t expect me to be so cordial when and if we run into those two again. It’s about the principalities, Angie. You represent The VPLA and you represent Astraea and myself, and if people don’t respect you— then it’s like I said before, they don’t respect any of us. Nor do they respect anything that we’re trying to build. And disrespect is just something I won’t tolerate.
( Astraea nods in approval as if the words that The Visual Prophet just spoke mirror the exact way she thinks and feels about the situation. She looks over toward Dr. Angelo D’Angelo before she speaks her tone becoming more direct and serious. )
Astraea Jordan: Last week when you recruited me you told me, your goal was to put our people, BLACK PEOPLE to be specific, back in power. And that sentiment is echoed by your decision to continue trying to bring us together. At the draft show, I put my faith and trust in you and you haven’t given me a reason to doubt you yet and ima stand by that. I’ll trust the process but I have to be real it’s not giving what it’s supposed to give right now. Maybe next week the energy will be different but either way.. we good regardless🤷🏽♀️.
( Dr. Angelo D’Angelo’s face lights up as he processes Astraeas words. But before he gets a chance to respond, Astraea looks at The Visual Prophet before continuing to speak. )
Astraea Jordan: You said one week. So we’ll give her one week– and that’s all.
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: My sister, that’s all I ask.. Give her one week to think about it. Just one! We gon’ get this right. You hear me? We gon’ get this right!
The Visual Prophet: :cmon:
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: :delroy:
( Astraea Jordan exits the locker room shaking her head in annoyance as The Visual Prophet follows shortly behind, leaving only Dr. Angelo D’Angelo who has a hopeful look on his face before the camera fades out to commercial. )
(Commercial for Fall Guys, now free to play. Watch as Ronan Malosi struggles to make it past level after level!)
(Dynasty fades back to ringside, where Stephie Love is seen with a microphone.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen.. The following contest is a tag team match, scheduled for ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!
(‘No Luv’ by 1017 ft. Key Glock plays through the arena’s speakers as both Aurora and Sosa walk out. As usual Aurora Monroe is the more stoic and calm of the two as SOSA walks out with an insane amount of confidence, the two heading down and proceeding to pose inside the ring, after a long walk down the entrance ramp.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST, THE TEAM OF SOSA HENDERSON AND AURORA MUNROE, BULLETSTORM!
Flannery McCoy: And here comes a team that is hot on their tails! They’re on fire, having beat Holly and Jake at the EAW Draft, and they’re looking to keep that win-streak here tonight!
(‘People are Strange’ by The Dead South plays through the arena’s speakers as both Kirk and Solomon walk out, accompanied by Trixie Stane. They’re walking down in unison, as Kirk and Solomon enter the ring and eye BULLETSTORM down.)
Stephie Love: AND THEIR OPPONENTS, WITH A COMBINED WEIGHT OF 476 POUNDS, OFF-BRAND AMPHETAMINES!
Jake Mercer: As United Tag Team Champions, they’re looking to show a path of domination after a victory over the Ice Aces. Both Solomon and Kirk look ready to go, especially against opponents of THIS calibre in SOSA and Aurora.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Jake Mercer: THE MATCH BEGINS! IT’S NOW TIME TO SEE WHAT BOTH THESE TEAMS HAVE IN THE FIRST EVER DYNASTY SHOW OF SEASON 16! Sosa and Solomon seem to be taking the first shots in this match, and it’s clear that there is nothing but violence in each of their eyes! They’re in a collar-elbow tie-up position! Stane clearly overpowers Sosa, but before Stane can even push Sosa to the turnbuckle, he rolls underneath and now Solomon is left empty handed! Neither team is using that turnbuckle right now, though. Sosa’s begging for Solomon to throw some more shots, which he does! Solomon attempts a big boot, BUT SOSA DODGES! He’s trying to piss Solomon off, and it seems to be taking no toll on Stane! Both men circle each other now, and they’re engaging in a test of strength! Sosa uses the speed to duck under and wrench Stane’s arm back!
Stew-O: And Stane’s trying to shake the pain off, which he successfully does! Solomon lands a crazy back elbow to the jaw of SOSA, and now Henderson has to stagger back! Stane’s landing brutal kicks to the side of SOSA, but SOSA is still fresh in the game! Henderson ducks a roundhouse kick attempt, and now it’s SOSA with kicks of his own! The speed! The quickness! The agility! Now it’s time for SOSA to land a big one with a roundhouse kick of his own, and he does! Stane is still up, but he’s visibly dazed! He’s trying to sort himself out, and SOSA hits him with a heavy dropkick! Stane is pushed against the ropes, and now it’s SOSA landing powerful lefts and rights to his body! SOSA’s just going at it, and lands a devastating elbow to his ribs! Stane is down on one knee, and SOSA is feeling it! SOSA’s doing a little shimmy, and Stane is clearly disappointed early on!
Flannery McCoy: SOSA and Aurora are locking eyes, and there’s not a hint of true, intimate love between the two, but rather the eyes of an alliance! SOSA’s staring into the lights, but Stane takes this as an opportunity to recover! SOSA sees him and begins charging at him with a European Uppercut, and it connects! Stane is in the corner, but he’s forming a slight grin! And here comes SOSA going for a clothesline in the corner, but Stane swerves it! He dodges it and now Stane picks him up, and throws him into the corner for a Snake Eyes! Snake Eyes! SOSA was caught off guard, and now it’s Stane hooking the waist and throwing him overhead for a powerful German Suplex! Solomon’s displaying that an injured animal is the most deadly, and here comes Stane with a leg sweep! Stane goes for the pin! He has the shoulders down!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEE-
Jake Mercer: AND SOSA KICKS OUT AT .96! Stane is visibly upset, and he’s putting him in a Muay Thai Clinch! Powerful knees coming from Stane, and he’s just landing those knees in with INSANE power! SOSA might perhaps need to tag Aurora here! WAIT! ONE OF STANE’S KNEES WERE BLOCKED! SOSA SHOVES HIM OFF THE ROPES, AND STANE HAS TO REBOUND, BUT SOSA LEAPS OVER AND LANDS A DEVASTATING PELE KICK! NOW IT’S SOSA WITH THE COVER! HE HAS THE SHOULDERS DOWN!!!!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEE!
Referee: TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO-
Flannery McCoy: AND STANE JUST KICKED OUT! SOSA KNOWS WHAT HE HAS TO DO, AND HE’S LOOKING TO PUT THE MATCH BACK IN HIS FAVOUR! HE RUNS OFF THE ROPES, AND LANDS A POWERFUL RUNNING ELBOW DROP! HE’S NOT STOPPING HERE, AND HE LIFTS ONE OF SOLOMON’S LEGS! HE LANDS A DEVASTATING KICK TO ONE OF HIS KNEES, AND NOW SOLOMON IS IN TROUBLE! SOSA TWISTS THAT LEG AND WAS THIS CLOSE TO SNAPPING IT! HE GOES FOR ANOTHER KICK, AND IT CONNECTS! STANE MIGHT BE LEFT CRIPPLED AFTER THIS, OH MY DISNEY! SOSA HAS HIM IN HIS SIGHTS, AND NOW HE’S GOING FOR A SHARPSHOOTER! REDWOOD IS INCHES AWAY FROM INTERRUPTING THIS MATCH RIGHT NOW!
Stew-O: AND HE ENTERS THE RING AND SHOVES SOSA AWAY! NOW KIRK IS LANDING POWERFUL BLOWS ON SOSA HENDERSON, BUT SOSA BLOCKS ONE AND THROWS HIM OVER THE ROPES! HE’S TRYING TO ENTER BACK BUT AURORA MUNROE IS STOPPING HIM! SHE’S JUST STANDING THERE, AND NOW THEY’RE INCHES AWAY FROM BEATING THE EVER LOVING GOLLY OUT OF EACH OTHER! HOWEVER, SOSA AND SOLOMON ARE CONTINUING THAT ACTION INSIDE THE RING! SOLOMON’S VISIBLY LIMPING, BUT HE’S USING HIS HANDS TO LAND A POWERFUL BELL CLAP! SOLOMON’S TRYING TO REGAIN SOME MOMENTUM, AND HE HOPES TO TOSS SOSA TO THE OUTSIDE—
Jake Mercer: BUT NO! SOSA ENDS UP GRABBING HIM AND NOW THE TWO OF THEM ARE LAID OUT ON THE OUTSIDE! AURORA AND KIRK ARE STANDING BY AS SOSA AND SOLOMON ARE LANDING BLOWS ON EACH OTHER! KIRK MAKES THE FIRST MOVE AND PULLS SOSA OFF HIM, AND NOW THE TWO ARE EYE TO EYE! AURORA AND STANE ARE EYE TO EYE ON THE OTHER END AS WELL, AND THEY’RE LOOKING TO BEAT EACH OTHER UP! THE REFEREE IS IN SHAMBLES RIGHT NOW, WHAT IS HE GOING TO DO? AURORA AND STANE ARE SHOVING EACH OTHER BACK AND FORTH, AND SOSA AND KIRK ARE BUTTING HEADS AS THE REFEREE SCOLDS THEM BACK INTO THE RING!
Flannery McCoy: And now both Aurora and Kirk are back to their designated spots, and now SOSA HAS THE MOMENTUM BACK IN THE PALM OF HIS HANDS! SOSA IS LANDING HEAVY SHOTS ONTO THE CRANIUM OF SOLOMON STANE, AND NOW KIRK IS JUST THERE WAITING TO BE TAGGED IN! HOWEVER, THE SKILLED SOLOMON STANE BLOCKS ONE SHOT AND THEY BOTH ARE AT A STANDSTILL! SOLOMON SHOVES SOSA FORWARD, SOSA COMES BACK WITH A RUNNING ELBOW SMASH, SOLOMON PROCEEDS TO RAIN DOWN HEAVY OPEN HAND STRIKES, RUNNING OFF FROM THE ROPES-
Jake Mercer: BUT NO! SOSA CONNECTS WITH A HEAVY LARIAT, AND NOW BOTH MEN ARE DOWN! THEY JUST COLLIDED WITH EACH OTHER! AND NOW IT’S TIME TO SEE WHAT THEY’RE TRULY MADE OF, AS SOLOMON AND SOSA ARE BOTH DOWN ON THE GROUND! AURORA AND KIRK ARE REACHING THEIR HANDS OUT, AND NOW SOSA AND SOLOMON ARE TRYING TO REACH OUT TO THEIR TAG TEAM PARTNERS! KIRK IS VISIBLY ANGRY AND READY TO GO, BUT AURORA IS TRYING TO KEEP A LEVEL HEAD! SOLOMON MAKES THE TAG FIRST, BUT SOSA IS A SPLIT SECOND BEHIND HIM! NOW BOTH AURORA AND KIRK ARE IN THE RING, TRADING BLOWS! THEY’RE RUSHING LIKE WILD DOGS IN THERE, AND IT’S INTENSE! WOO, THE HEAT! KIRK GETS THE UPPER HAND, AND IRISH WHIP’S AURORA INTO THE ROPES, BUT AURORA STAYS THERE! KIRK RUSHES IN, BUT MEETS AN ENZUIGIRI TO THE FACE! THE AGILITY FROM AURORA MUNROE HERE TONIGHT! AND NOW AURORA IS LANDING THE POWER SHOTS, ELBOWS FROM ALL DIRECTIONS AND KIRK IS DAZED! AURORA SHOWS OFF HER POWER, AND THROWS KIRK OVERHEAD FOR A BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! AURORA’S FLEXING THOSE MASSIVE GUNS RIGHT IN THE CENTRE OF THE STAGE, AND NOW IT’S A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE AURORA CONTINUES THIS MOMENTUM!
Flannery McCoy: KIRK TRIES TO TAG TO SOLOMON STANE, BUT AURORA IS RIGHT THERE! SHE PULLS KIRK AWAY FROM SOLOMON AND BEGINS LANDING MASSIVE STOMPS TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! SHE’S JUST PLANTING THOSE SHOTS LIKE THERE’S NO TOMORROW! SHE JUST KEEPS ON DOING THIS, TIME AND TIME AGAIN! KIRK MIGHT BE OUT FROM ALL THE PAIN, BUT HE’S SMILING SADISTICALLY! HE LOVES THE PAIN, AND AURORA HAS NOT YET REALISED THAT! AURORA’S GETTING TIRED FROM THE STOMPS, AND KIRK TAKES CONTROL AND TRIPS HER DOWN! HE’S GOING FOR THE SAME MOVE SOSA DID, AND IS LOOKING TO KICK HER KNEE RIGHT OUT OF THE SOCKET-
Stew-O: BUT NO! KIRK MISSES AND AURORA DODGED THAT! SHE USES THIS AND TRIPS HIM UP, HOOKS THE LEG WITH HER OWN LEG AND PROCEEDS TO PUT HIM IN A CRAFTY PIN POSITION! AURORA MIGHT HAVE IT WON HERE! BOTH SHOULDERS ARE DOWN, AND THE REFEREE IS NOW GOING FOR THE PIN!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Stew-O: BUT KIRK KICKS OUT! AURORA ISN’T FAZED ONE BIT, AS SHE KNOWS THAT SHE’S GOT INSIDE KIRK’S HEAD, BUT LITTLE DOES SHE KNOW KIRK MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING UP HIS SLEEVE! SHE HAS HER BACK TURNED, AND BOTH HER AND SOSA ARE DANCING ON THEIR ENDS! SOLOMON AND KIRK ARE DOING SOME SIGN LANGUAGE TO EACH OTHER ON THE OTHER END, AND KIRK LANDS A DASTARDLY ELBOW TO THE BACK OF AURORA’S HEAD! HE’S JUST RAINING DOWN THOSE ELBOWS LIKE THERE’S A THUNDERSTORM, AND NOW IT’S SOLOMON CLAPPING WHILE SOSA LOOKS ON, TRYING TO HOLD HIS DISGUST!
Kirk Redwood: (off-mic) GET THE HELL UP, MUNROE!
Jake Mercer: AND NOW IT’S KIRK STOMPING A MUDHOLE IN HER HEAD! HE’S JUST LANDING THOSE SHOTS AND NOW SOSA HAS TO LOOK AWAY! KIRK’S A MADMAN, AND SOLOMON IS CONTINUING TO LAUGH LIKE THE JOKER! IT’S TIME FOR KIRK TO GET SOMETHING IN, AND THAT TIME IS NOW! HE STOPS, THOUGH, AND HE’S NOW TRANSITIONING INTO A REAR NAKED CHOKE! AURORA HAS THAT ARM WRENCHED BACK, THROUGH, AND KIRK IS LANDING THOSE ELBOW SHOTS TO THE SIDE OF HER NECK! WHAT A PSYCHO, DANG! AURORA IS OUT, AND KIRK THROWS HER TO THE CORNER TURNBUCKLE, GETTING A TAG FROM SOLOMON! KIRK STRIKES HER WITH A CHOP ONE MORE TIME, BEFORE SOLOMON STRIKES HER WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! SOLOMON DRIVES HER HEAD DOWN TO THE MAT, AND STRIKES HER WITH A SIDE KICK TO THE CHEST! SOLOMON HAS THE ADVANTAGE NOW, AND HE STRIKES HER IN THE HEAD WITH A KICK! SOSA IS ITCHING TO BE TAGGED INTO THIS MATCH, AND HE HAS ALL THE REASON TO! AURORA HAS TO FIGHT OUT OF THIS ONSLAUGHT BY SOLOMON, BUT HE MAKES A MISTAKE! AURORA DUCKS A ROUNDHOUSE KICK, AND SOSA IS TAGGED IN! SOLOMON KNOWS WHAT SOSA IS CAPABLE OF, AND HE TAGS REDWOOD IN!
Stew-O: REDWOOD AND SOSA ARE GOING AT IT! REDWOOD TRIES TO KEEP THE SAME BRAWLING STYLE, BUT SOSA STAGGERS HIM WITH ONE OF THOSE INSANELY POWERFUL SHOTS TO THE JAWLINE! SOSA SEES THIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY, AND HE STRIKES REDWOOD DOWN WITH A SPEAR! REDWOOD’S DOWN, AND SOSA SEES THIS AS A CHANCE TO PIN HIM AND GET THIS MATCH OVER WITH!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Flannery McCoy: AND KIRK KICKS OUT! SOSA IS PISSED WITH WHAT KIRK DID TO AURORA EARLIER, AND HE’S ITCHING TO LAND A KICK, BUT HE DOES! SOSA STRIKES KIRK DOWN WITH A PENALTY KICK, AND NOW SOLOMON IS THE ONE TRYING TO KEEP AN EMOTION OF DISGUST HIDDEN! SOSA HITS HIM WITH SEVERAL KICKS TO THE SPINE, AND NOW HE’S LAUGHING IN THE FACE OF SOLOMON STANE!
Jake Mercer: And SOSA IS MOUTHING OFF WITH SOLOMON, JUST PROCEEDING TO BATTER THE LIVING HELL OUT OF KIRK REDWOOD! KIRK IS JUST PROCEEDING TO GO BLACKED OUT, AND SOLOMON WANTS TO MAKE A TAG HAPPEN! SOSA IS JUST BRUTALIZING REDWOOD, AND THIS DOESN’T LOOK VERY GOOD FOR BOTH SOLOMON AND KIRK! NOW IT’S SOSA HOOKING THE ARMS AND LIFTING KIRK UP IN THE AIR, BEFORE DROPPING HIM DOWN FOR A DELAYED VERTICAL SUPLEX! SOLOMON IS TIRED OUT RIGHT NOW, AND HE’S HOPING THAT HIS PARTNER STILL HAS SOME SENSE IN HIM! SOSA MOUNTS ON TOP OF HIM LANDING BLOWS, BUT KIRK CATCHES HIM OFF GUARD AND ESCAPES TO A TAG TO SOLOMON AFTER A SPLIT SECOND ROLLUP ATTEMPT! SPLIT SECONDS RIGHT THERE, AND NOW IT’S SOLOMON LANDING BIG BOOTS TO SOSA! SOLOMON PULLS HIM IN FOR SEVERAL HEADBUTTS, AND THE TRIUMPH OF TRUTH CONNECTS! SOLOMON GOES FOR THE TAG WITH KIRK, AND STRIKES HIM WITH A CHOP! KIRK LANDS AN UPPERCUT, BUT KIRK IS CAUGHT OFF GUARD! SOSA PULLS HIM INTO THE TURNBUCKLE WITH AURORA RIGHT THERE!
Stew-O: AURORA GOT TAGGED IN, AND THE SPIN THE BLOCK CONNECTS! BIG BOOT FROM AURORA, AND NOW SOSA PICKS REDWOOD UP AND DROPS HIM DOWN FOR A CUTTER! AURORA IS ON THE TOP ROPE, AND THE RAINING BULLETS CONNECTS! SHOOTING STAR PRESS AS SHE GOES FOR THE COVER!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNE!
Referee: TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: AND YOUR WINNERS, BULLETSTORM!
(‘No Luv’ hits once again as Aurora Monroe rolls off of Kirk Redwood, and SOSA Henderson helps her up. Solomon Stane slowly helps Kirk Redwood out of the ring, both clearly exhausted following the match. The crowd gives off a mixed but positive reaction for SOSA and Aurora as they have their arms raised.)
Stew-O: Wow. What a display from the duo of Aurora and SOSA to kick off Dynasty as we enter the new season! Can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us!
Jake Mercer: That match sure brought a lot out of these four, but in the end SOSA and Aurora get the job done!
Flannery McCoy: Another huge win for BULLETSTORM, who seem to be establishing themselves as one incredible tag team!
(SOSA and Aurora celebrate in the ring, as Kirk and Solomon are seen making their way up the ramp.)
(The camera fades backstage, where Serenity Valdez is seen making her way to the parking lot. The EAW Specialist Championship is situated on her shoulder.)
Stew-O: Here’s Serenity now as she seems to be leaving the arena. Of course, as she stated earlier, she didn’t appreciate Diamond Dixon’s actions last week. She called her out, but Diamond never showed up.
Jake Mercer: Well, knowing Diamond, the only person she’ll ever answer to is herself. She operates on her own time. It must be frustrating for Serenity, but sooner or later, she’ll get her chance to confront Diamond personally.
Flannery McCoy: Not doubt about it. Those two ladies have a lot of tension going on between them. It’s only a matter of time before they come head-to-head and– OH! WAIT, IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS?!
(As Serenity was about to get into her car, Diamond Dixon runs in and clobbers her with a vicious elbow! The Specialist championship falls to the ground. Serenity crumples. Diamond laughs and grabs Serenity by the hair before dragging her out.)
Serenity Valdez: Let.. go of… me!
Diamond Dixon: I thought you wanted to be big and bad, though? Okay then! I’ll let you go!
(Diamond lets go only to mount the downed Serenity. She starts punching her!)
Jake Mercer: What a cheap attack by Diamond Dixon! She came out of nowhere and starts battering Serenity! Now she’s mounting her and raining down fists on to her! Serenity is doing the best she can to cover up, but it’s pointless.
Stew-O: Serenity is defenseless! Once again, Diamond is laughing, as if this is all amusing to her! Where are the guards?!
(Diamond gets up, and Serenity kicks at her leg! However, that only makes Diamond shake her head before she grabs Serenity and smashes her face against the truck of the car! Again and again, Serenity is met with the harsh, unforgiving part of her own vehicle before she slinks back down to the ground. Valdez groans.)
Flannery McCoy: Isn’t this enough? What even is the point in all of this? If Diamond wanted to confront Serenity, she could’ve done that in the ring when she called her out!
Jake Mercer: This… this was just all part of her plan. She was messing with Serenity, and now the Specialist Champion has fallen victim to Diamond’s mind games. This is– oh, what is Diamond trying to do now?!
(Diamond grabs Serenity by the throat.)
Stew-O: Oh… oh no…!
(Serenity claws at Diamond’s arms, but Dixon simply hoists the champion up in the air and slams her back down onto the trunk with a choke slam! Serenity cries out in pain! Once again, she slips down to the floor in complete agony!)
Flannery McCoy: That’s it! Just stop it already!
(Diamond smiles and gets closer to the writhing Serenity. She crouches down, and she can’t help but have a patronizing look on her face. Not far off from them though, footsteps can be heard)
Diamond Dixon: Be careful what you wish for.
(She spits at her before security comes and gets her away from Serenity. Diamond raises her hands up and laughs, backing off. Medical personnel come racing to Serenity’s aid and start to tend to her. The cameras get closer to Valdez, who is seen with a mixed expression of pain and rage as she’s laying on the floor.)
Stew-O: Wow. I don’t think we’ve ever seen Serenity like this before. This is awful.
Jake Mercer: It is. Once again, Diamond sneaks in and catches Serenity completely off guard.
Flannery McCoy: Well, if Diamond wanted to send out a message, then she sent out an emphatic one. She’s got her eyes on Serenity and the Specialist Championship, and it’s clear that she’ll stoop down to whatever level is necessary in order to get what it is that she wants.
(The medical crew continue to assist Serenity as we transition back over to the ring.)
(Standing in the middle of the ring is Stephie Love, a microphone in hand!)
Stephie Love: The following non-title main event match is scheduled for-
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Shortly after, “Trophies” by Drake begins to play and the crowd rises to their feet as Joso makes his way out!)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Bronx, New York… weighing 206 pounds… “The New Era” JOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Joso defeated Harley Lewis to win the New Era Classic, proving that his future most certainly is bright here in EAW! As he comes into tonight though for this main event, Joso finds himself thrown into the fire as he takes on the World Heavyweight and Interwire Champion! To say that he has his work cut out for him is an understatement!
Flannery McCoy: Joso is finding himself facing off against an Andre Walker who has done nothing this year except maintain and obtain his success in ways that have truly made him unlike anyone else. Impact couldn’t defeat him at the Draft Show and now Joso has to do something that some people are going to be doubting him about when Andre’s in this whole other zone! But Joso could pull off a huge upset and I’m sure he knows that it’s just the kind of thing that’ll put his doubters to rest, especially when Andre’s on top of everything right now!
Jake Mercer: Joso comes back to Dynasty with his New Era Classic win and now he’s up against the man who robbed The Visual Prophet of the World Heavyweight Championship, so if there was ever moment for someone to show Andre that he shouldn’t go getting too comfortable around here just yet, it can be Joso with a shock victory!
(Joso enters the ring and looks to the stage as “Leaving Caladan” begins to play and out comes Andre Walker with the World Heavyweight and Interwire Championships over his shoulders.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent, hailing from the Isle of Samoa… weighing 245 pounds… he is the Interwire and World Heavyweight Champion…. “The Kaiser” AAAAANNNNNNNDDDDDDDRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE WAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEERRRRR!!!!!
Stew-O: Andre Walker accomplished a huge achievement when he became the man who dethroned The Visual Prophet, and in doing so resulted in him taking the World Heavyweight Championship on top of his Interwire Championship reign still going! In a Winner Takes All Match at Pain for Pride, Andre succeeded big time and I’m sure he’ll want to continue on showing why he’s been able to accomplish all that he has!
Flannery McCoy: Andre started out the show tonight saying that he’ll take on anyone and he got a number of people throwing their names into the conversation, but Joso finds himself as Andre’s first official opponent for the new season and I’m sure there’s a significant amount of pressure that they’re both putting on themselves to show that their success this season is only going to continue to build.
Jake Mercer: Viz should’ve won but I wouldn’t put it past Joso to be more than ready to show that he’ll be capable of shaking things up! Joso versus Andre Walker coming in just a matter of moments here!
(Andre enters the ring and takes the time to pose with both Championships, eventually passing them off to Albert at ringside before getting into position for the match to start!)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: This main event match here is now underway- with Andre Walker going right in to connect with an uppercut! Andre hits Joso with another! The dual Champion now kicks Joso back into the ropes and Joso rebounds off of them right into a charging clothesline from Andre!
Flannery McCoy: ANDRE MISSED! JOSO DUCKS AROUND HIM JUST IN TIME AND THE NEW ERA CLASSIC WINNER CONNECTS WITH A DROPKICK TO THE BACK TO SEND ANDRE STUMBLING FORWARD! The Interwire Champion ends up in the corner and Joso is already up on his feet to go after Andre, pummeling the World Heavyweight Champion against the turnbuckles with punches and kicks after having caught Andre with his guard down just moments ago! Joso is all over Andre right now as he doesn’t let up despite the referee’s insistence to bring the action out of the corner- Andre is able to shove him away, BUT JOSO CHARGES INTO THE CORNER WITH A STEP-UP KNEE STRIKE THAT CATCHES WALKER RIGHT ON THE JAW!
Jake Mercer: Joso looks to be on the mark here as he pulls Andre into a side headlock as he takes him out the corner and tries to get a running start only for Andre to shove him off, sending him into the ropes and Joso springs back- RIGHT INTO A MIGHTY SHOULDER BLOCK FROM ANDRE! JOSO GOES DOWN AND TRIES TO GET UP BUT ANDRE STRIKES WITH A KNEE LIFT RIGHT TO THE FACE, PRACTICALLY SENDING JOSO TURNING AROUND AND NOW JOSO GETS LIFTED RIGHT OFF THE MAT INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX!
Stew-O: The power game from Andre Walker is definitely something Joso tried to avoid in the early goings of the match, but our World Heavyweight and Interwire Champion quickly changed the apparent momentum of the match in just a few short moments! Joso gets dropped on his upper back and the back of his head, but Andre doesn’t let him get away as he brings Joso up once and connects with another german suplex! Joso now finds himself being deadlifted off the canvas as Andre looks impressive in taking Joso off his feet and absolutely tossing Joso across the ring now with a release german suplex!
Flannery McCoy: Joso goes flying before he crashes down back onto the mat, a hand to the back of his head as he turns himself over in an effort to get up and he’s hauled right over Andre’s shoulder as Andre barrels into him to ram him into the corner! There’s some blunt impact from the force of Andre taking him into the turnbuckles, hitting shoulder thrust after shoulder thrust thanks to the power he’s able to impose over Joso!
Jake Mercer: Joso tries to strike Andre over the back to try to deter him but Andre doesn’t even seem to react as he continues to crash into Joso! It takes the ring official intervening to get Andre to back off, Joso with one arm hugged across his midsection while Andre only looks annoyed with the referee- PUSHING RIGHT PAST HIM TO NAIL JOSO WITH A HUGE BIG BOOT RIGHT TO THE FACE! JOSO’S HEAD SNAPS BACK AS ANDRE IMMEDIATELY PULLS HIM IN FOR A SNAP SUPLEX BACK OUT TOWARD THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! TREMENDOUS POWER FROM THE 2022 KING OF ELITE, AND IT’S EVEN MORE OF A SIGHT AS HE HOLDS ONTO JOSO AS HE FLOATS OVER, LIFTING JOSO UP INTO THE ONCE AGAIN- ANDRE DROPS HIM INTO A BRAINBUSTER RIGHT ONTO HIS KNEE! JOSO COMES STRAIGHT DOWN HEAD FIRST ONTO ANDRE’S KNEE BEFORE HITTING THE MAT AND ANDRE PINS HIM DOWN FOR THE COVER!!!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTWWWOOO!!!
Flannery McCoy: But Joso gets the shoulder up! He turns right over onto his stomach with his arms covering his head; he definitely hit hard on the way down and he’s feeling it now. Andre Walker, however, doesn’t appear to show the slightest bit of concern or remorse as he mounts Joso over the back and moves the arms out the way that Joso was using to protectively cover up, to start coming down on the back of Joso’s head with a number of clubbing blows with the forearm!
Stew-O: Andre found the opening to take control of the match and he hasn’t thought to let up for a second! Just when Joso thought he was going to be riding high a wave of momentum from the get-go, he was literally brought right back down; I wouldn’t want to be Joso right now, that’s for sure! Andre gets himself off of Joso and brings him to his feet to throw him across the ring, Joso landing on the mat in the corner and Andre charges in with a low dropkick after Joso sluggishly pulled himself into a seated position in the corner! Andre rolls underneath the bottom rope and out of the ring, reaching back in to grab Joso by the legs and pulling him out to let him unceremoniously fall to the ringside floor at his feet! Andre delivering a number of stomps while Joso’s down and he knows that he’s got Joso right where he wants him from the way that he’s going about dealing with him right now.
Jake Mercer: Joso is roughly pulled up into a headlock as Andre drags him to his feet, striking him over the back before lifting Joso up into the air and stalling as he’s got Joso upside down- JOSO COMES DOWN ONTO THE APRON PERFECTLY ON HIS FEET! Joso got himself out of that predicament and Andre turns around in confusion to find where Joso went AND JOSO STRIKES HIM DOWN WITH A KICK FROM THE APRON! JOSO CATCHES THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RIGHT IN THE FACE AND ANDRE IS QUICKLY TRYING TO RECOVER IN GETTING UP OFF THE GROUND!
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO TAKES A RISK IN JUMPING BACKWARD OFF THE APRON?! JOSO LANDS ON ANDRE’S SHOULDERS AND HE TAKES HIM DOWN INTO A POISONRANA!!! JOSO THROWS HIMSELF BACKWARD AND BRINGS THE DUAL CHAMPION TO GET SPIKED RIGHT ON THE TOP OF HIS HEAD RIGHT OUT HERE IN FRONT OF US! JOSO HAS THE CROWD BUZZING AS HE GETS TO HIS FEET, HYPED UP IN THE MOMENT BEFORE DRAGGING ANDRE UP AND ROLLING HIM INTO THE RING!
Stew-O: Andre’s already trying to get himself up as Joso’s climbing up onto the apron- JOSO WITH THE SLINGSHOT DOUBLE FOOT STOMP RIGHT TO THE MIDDLE OF ANDRE WALKER’S BACK! Andre gets driven down against the canvas but Joso isn’t done as he maneuvers Andre away from the ropes in a headlock and he starts unloading on Andre with forearm shots to the face upon getting him to his feet! Joso senses the urgency that comes with a match of this magnitude and he’s letting Andre have it as he shoots forward with a blatant punch right to the face! Andre tries to fight him off with a clothesline but Joso gets down around him and stomps on the back of the knee to bring him to kneel- JOSO BRINGS ANDRE DOWN WITH A LEAPING LEG DROP ACROSS THE BACK OF THE NECK!
Jake Mercer: JOSO ROLLS OFF OF HIM AND ANDRE PUSHES HIMSELF IN A HURRY, AND THE NEW ERA CLASSIC WINNER CONNECTS WITH A CLOTHESLINE IN CONTINUING TO KEEP ANDRE OFF HIS FEET! JOSO CONNECTING AGAIN AS ANDRE RUSHES TO GET UP AND JOSO CATCHES HIM NOW WITH A SHORT-ARM CLOTHESLINE, IMMEDIATELY BRINGING ANDRE UP FOR ANOTHER- NO! ANDRE DUCKS DOWN AND ENDS UP BEHIND JOSO TO LIFT HIM INTO A BACK SUPLEX!
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO IS ABLE TO ROLL BACK OVER THE SHOULDER IN THE LIFT AND LAND ON HIS FEET BEHIND ANDRE! JOSO RUNS RIGHT PAST ANDRE AS WALKER TURNED AROUND FROM THE OTHER SIDE, ANDRE LOOKING LOST AS JOSO COMES OFF THE ROPES AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A SLINGBLADE! THE BACK OF ANDRE’S HEAD COMES DOWN ON THE MAT AND JOSO IS UP ON HIS FEET, MOMENTUM ON HIS SIDE AS HE FLIPS THROUGH THE AIR TO COME DOWN ON ANDRE WITH A RUNNING SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!!! JOSO STAYING ON TOP OF ANDRE FOR THE COVER!!!!!!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTWWWOOO!!!
Stew-O: A kickout by Andre- A DOUBLE FOOT STOP RIGHT TO THE FACE AS JOSO WASTED NO TIME IN CONTINUING TO ATTACK!!!! Joso has no doubt taken Andre Walker by surprise in these last few moments upon being able to fight his way out of the onslaught that the dual Champion looked set on continuing, and he’s not about to give Andre the chance to get back at it now!
Flannery McCoy: Joso doesn’t want to let this kind of victory slip away from him and he’s doing what he can to maintain his progress in no doubt having gotten closer to it! Joso not waiting at all for Andre to get up as he has Andre back on his feet and hits him with an uppercut, Andre falling back to lean into the ropes with a hand to his face as Joso continues to come at him in a relentless attack! Joso trying to wear Andre down before looking to whip him across the ring- no! Andre has his other arm hooked around the top rope to keep himself from being sent! Joso trying to force it anyway but Andre still won’t budge- JOSO GOES AT ANDRE ONLY TO BE POPPED UP OVER THE TOP ROPE! JOSO LANDING ON THE APRON AND HITTING A ROPE-ASSISTED ENZUIGIRI TO KNOCK AN ONCOMING ANDRE AWAY!
Jake Mercer: JOSO HAS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT AND INTERWIRE CHAMPION STUMBLING BACK UNTIL HE FALLS OVER, AND JOSO RUSHES TO THE CORNER ON THE OUTSIDE TO CLIMB THE TURNBUCKELS! JOSO IS ABLE TO MAKE IT ALL THE WAY UP JUST AS ANDRE IS GETTING HIMSELF OFF THE MAT, AND JOSO CONTINUES TO AIM TO IMPRESS AS HE STANDS UP ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE AND LEAPS AT ANDRE TO TAKE HIM DOWN ONCE HE’S STANDING WITH A DIVING CROSSBODY!!!! WHAT A GREAT SEQUENCE BY JOSO!!!
Stew-O: BUT NOT SO FAST!!! ANDRE COMES ROLLING OUT OF THE CROSSBODY WITH A HOLD ON JOSO! JOSO TRYING TO WRIGGLE OUT OF ANDRE’S GRASP AS ANDRE GETS TO HIS FEET, NOW THROWING ELBOWS AT THE SIDE OF ANDRE’S HEAD TO TRY TO BREAK FREE- BUT ANDRE SPINS HIM OUT INTO A SPINNING SLIDE SLAM TO PLANT JOSO ONTO THE MAT WITH AUTHORITY!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Andre looks to shake off all of what Joso threw at him just now and turn things back around his favor, but I think what we saw just goes to show that Joso can’t be overlooked, otherwise he’ll surely find a way to capitalize on the moments he can make for himself. Andre, though, was sure to let him know that if he’s going to find himself moving up the chain like this then Joso has got to properly anticipate who he’s dealing with just as much!
Stew-O: The World Heavyweight Champion gets up to his feet and Joso turns over on the mat potentially looking to get himself up now as he sees Andre at a vertical base, but Andre’s already on him with a stomp over the back of the head to force him down! Andre sends a nasty kick to the ribs at Joso and he gets no time to recover as Andre connects with another to send him into the corner! Joso has the wherewithal to grab the for the ropes in an effort to get himself up as he knows that Andre is coming his way but he’s too late to react as Andre starts bashing his face repeatedly into the top turnbuckle!
Jake Mercer: This definitely isn’t how Joso could’ve pictured things going for himself right now, especially not with the way he’s trained for something like this! After all, I was there in the Bronx when Joso was learning how to throw jabs and I was there in person when he learned his first suplex, too!
Flannery McCoy: I highly doubt you were there for any of that :mjpls:!
Jake Mercer: But I was! I was the one who gave him the nickname “The New Era” because I always knew that he was going to make it here and be a star; I never doubted him :wow:!
Flannery McCoy: :skip:!!
Stew-O: In that case, Andre’s got his star from the chance of taking off again like he did before in this match as he now has Joso hanging over the mat while Andre is seated on the top turnbuckle! Joso flails as he tries to get out of the rear-naked choke that Andre has him in, struggling to get those strong arms from around his neck while Andre leans back and applies more pressure!
Referee: (off-mic) You’ve got to let him go and get him out of the corner!
Flannery McCoy: The ring official might as well be talking a brick wall because Andre isn’t even acknowledging him with the slightest bit of a response; in fact, he’s wrenching on the illegal hold! Andre starts to move Joso back and forth, only making it more difficult for him to try to break out while he tries to pry at Andre’s arms! The referee has had it with Andre pushing the limits of the rules and begins to start a count, getting dangerously close to five before Andre finally lets go by and Joso drops in a heap in the corner!
Jake Mercer: Joso clutches at his throat for a moment before he’s kicked forward from behind by Andre, sending him sprawling on the mat until Walker has him by the head to bring him up and snapmare him into a seated position, taking a punch to the spine as well prior to locking him up in a kneeling abdominal stretch! Joso is left vulnerable to getting punches to the midsection while Andre has him from that back position!
Stew-O: Andre has him firmly in the middle of the ring with Joso managing to free the other arm from around Andre’s leg as he tries to get his way out of this hold! Joso tries to work his way up to his feet despite Andre continuing to send shots to the torso, his head trapped under Andre’s arm- ANDRE LIFTS HIM UP AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH AN INVERTED DDT! JOSO GETS PLANTED ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AND ANDRE REACHES FORWARD TO GRAB THE LEG, HOOKING IT FOR THE COVER!!!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTWWWOOO!!!
TTTHHH-
Flannery McCoy: Joso’s still got some fight left in him but I don’t think that comes as a surprise, not even for Andre who looks to grab Joso and send him out of the ring through the ropes! Joso hits with a thud on the outside and Andre ignores the ring official who’s reprimanding him for taking the action out of the ring, exiting out the ropes to come down beside a Joso who’s managed to get himself up onto all fours, but it’s not saying much as Andre launches him into the barricade!
Stew-O: Joso is finding himself being put the wringer here by the more experienced Andre Walker, but if there was ever a way to be introduced to the mentality and capabilities of those who he wants to find his name in the same conversation with, this is definitely one way to do it! Joso has gone against The Visual Prophet in a losing effort, and now finds himself against the other half of the Winner Takes All Match here tonight, but if he can knock off Andre tonight then could either of you imagine what that would do for Joso’s career?!
Jake Mercer: Did I not tell you that I always knew he’d be a star from the time that I met him?! Joso’s trajectory could only ever skyrocket with this victory, and with this crowd trying to rally him back into the fight, there are clearly some who believe that he might be able to actually pull through here!
Flannery McCoy: Joso has the crowd chanting for him despite Andre easily getting him up off the ground and sending him now into the corner of the barricade! Joso falls back to the ringside floor and Andre marches over with a purpose as he lifts Joso up to set him over the corner of the barricade, the lower half of Joso’s body hanging over into the crowd while Andre clobbers him over the back! The ring official remains in the ring trying to call for order but his calls once again go ignored by the dual Champion, who continues to beat on Joso!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE!
Referee: (off-mic) TWO!
Referee: (off-mic) THREE!
Stew-O: Andre strikes down on Joso one last time before letting him go, leaving him draped over the turning point of the barricade while backing up to gain some distance between them as he’s setting up for something with what could be huge impact!
Referee: (off-mic) FOUR!
Referee: (off-mic) FIVE!
Flannery McCoy: ANDRE WALKER TAKES OFF WITH A RUNNING START BACK TOWARD JOSO WHO REMAINS HANGING OVER THE BARRICADE! ANDRE CHARGING AT FULL SPEED AS HE RAISES HIS KNEE TO COLLIDE WITH JOSO’S HEAD!
Stew-O: BUT HE MISSES AS JOSO PUSHED HIMSELF THE REST OF THE WAY BACK OVER THE BARRICADE! JOSO DROPS DOWN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BARRICADE INTO THE CROWD, WHILE ANDRE CONNECTS WITH NOTHING BUT THE BARRICADE! HE HOBBLES BACK GRABBING AT HIS KNEE IN EVIDENT PAIN-
Flannery McCoy: JOSO COMES BACK UP TO PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE! JOSO CRACKS ANDRE WITH A HUGE RIGHT HAND AND ANDRE STUMBLES AWAY FROM THE BARRICADE, JOSO CLIMBING UP ONTO THE BARRICADE TO GET OVER BUT ANDRE IS BACK ON HIM TO START STRIKING HIM WHILE HE’S CAUGHT ON THE BARRICADE!
Referee: (off-mic) SIX!
Referee: (off-mic) SEVEN!
Jake Mercer: But Joso is able to fire back somehow, catching Andre once again in the face! Andre reaches for Joso just to get a kick to the stomach! AND JOSO JUMPS OFF THE BARRICADE AND CATCHES ANDRE ON THE WAY DOWN WITH A TORNADO DDT!!! ALBERT IS WATCHING ON CONCERNED AND YELLING FOR ANDRE TO GET UP! JOSO IS ABLE TO PLANT ANDRE ON HIS HEAD AND JOSO FINDS HIMSELF WITH AN OPENING ONCE AGAIN!!!
Referee: (off-mic) EIGHT!
Stew-O: JOSO HAS TO GET ANDRE BACK INTO THE RING THOUGH! JOSO LOOKING EXHAUSTED AS HE GRABS ANDRE TO GET HIM TO HIS FEET, HAVING TO SUPPORT ANDRE AS HE GETS HIM INTO THE RING!
Referee: (off-mic) NINE!
Flannery McCoy: JOSO ROLLS INTO THE RING JUST IN TIME AND THE BUENOS AIRES CROWD IS BUZZING AS JOSO SCRAMBLES TO GET ONTO ANDRE WALKER FOR THE COVER!!!!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTWWWOOO!!!
TTTHHHRRR-
Stew-O: ANDRE WALKER GETS HIS SHOULDER UP!!!!
Flannery McCoy: What a turning point in this match right now for Joso! He’s surely got to be thinking that if he’d been able to capitalize off that DDT any sooner that he just might’ve been able to get a three count, and the expression on his face says it all that he’s wondering what it’s going to take to put Andre away!
Stew-O: Now is definitely not the time to get caught up in what if’s or letting Andre’s resilience throw him off from what he’s got to do! If he thinks he’s closing in on a victory, then he can’t let the moment get to him and show that he can maintain his composure under these high pressure opportunities!
Jake Mercer: Joso sits up off of Andre looking around at the crowd, nodding to himself as he hypes himself up for taking the match however much farther it could go. Joso grabbing a hold of Andre and dragging him to his feet, lighting up the chest with some swift chops! Now transitioning into punches to the face to get the Champion back against the ropes and he whips Andre across the ring, Andre coming off the ropes back into a leaping knee to the face! Andre nearly gets taken off his feet and Joso looks to capitalize as he grabs Andre from behind in an attempt to lift him off the mat!
Flannery McCoy: Andre has a hold of the top rope though and refuses to let go, eventually coming knock Joso off of him with back elbow shots! Joso isn’t deterred though, he sees his chance as he leaps at Andre, ONLY TO BE CAUGHT ON ANDRE’S SHOULDERS! ANDRE HAS HIM- JOSO HAS THE TOP ROPE AND IS TRYING TO HOLD ON AS ANDRE LOOKS TO TAKE HIM TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! JOSO HOLDS ON WITH ALL HE’S GOT AS ANDRE TRIES TO YANK HIM AWAY, NOW TURNING AND THAT FORCES JOSO TO LET GO!
Stew-O: ANDRE HAS HIM UP ON HIS SHOULDERS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AS HE SWINGS JOSO OUT INTO A SIDE SLAM- JOSO GETS HIS LEGS UP AND GETS ANDRE WITH A HEADSCISSOR TAKEDOWN!!! ANDRE IS ALL DISORIENTED AS HE GETS HIM UP, JOSO TURNING HIM AROUND!
Flannery McCoy: “FINAL CALLING”!!! JOSO GETS HIM WITH TWO KNEES TO THE BACK OUT OF THE VERTICAL SUPLEX LIFT AND JOSO GRABS BOTH LEGS OF THE CHAMPION AS HE PULLS ANDRE INTO THE PIN!!!!!!
OOONNNEEE!!!!
TTTWWWOOO!!!
TTTHHHRRREEE-
Flannery McCoy: BUT ANDRE WALKER KICKS OUT AGAIN!!!! Joso sits up on his knees looking to the ring official who assures him that Andre was able to kick out before three! Joso shakes off the moment and gets Andre up, sensing that this is his moment as he goes to lift Andre up across his shoulders!
Jake Mercer: “GRATEFUL DEATH”!!! JOSO TOSSES HIM OVER AND- NO! ANDRE IS ABLE TO PUSH OFF OF JOSO AND HE STUMBLES BACK INTO THE ROPES, BARELY UP TO KEEP HIMSELF UP BUT HE DOES IT NONETHELESS! THE WHEREWITHAL OF THIS MAN :lupe:!!!! AND ANDRE TRIES TO CAPITALIZE ON THE CONFUSION AS HE CHARGES AT JOSO-
Stew-O: JOSO LEAPFROGS OVER ANDRE AND ANDRE COMES OFF THE ROPES, CONNECTING WITH “KAISER’S TOUCH”!!!!! A SUPERMAN PUNCH STRIKES JOSO DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AND ANDRE DRAPES HIMSELF OVER JOSO FOR THE COVER!!!!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTWWWOOO!!!
TTTHHHRRREEE!!!
Crowd: :damn:!!!!!!!
Stew-O: JOSO KICKS OUT!!!!
Jake Mercer: :blessed:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: JOSO GETS HIS SHOULDER UP AND THIS CROWD COULDN’T BE ANYMORE BEHIND JOSO RIGHT NOW AS HE’S LEFT THEM ALL SHOCKED RIGHT NOW!
Stew-O: Andre raises up off of Joso with an unreadable expression, but looking entirely unmoved by Joso’s desire to stay in this and win. Andre rises to his feet with his focus on Joso before sending him into the corner with such force that Joso falls to the mat after hitting the turnbuckles! Andre stalks over to the fallen competitor who he has no problem lifting up and shoving into the turnbuckles, starting to beat down on Joso while he’s got him trapped in the corner!
Flannery McCoy: Those stiff shots have surely got to be no joke as Andre takes every available opening to land one whenever Joso tries to turn away from or block one! Joso keeps his head down as Andre quickens the pace before snatching Joso’s wrists and sending him leaning into the turnbuckles for support after a wicked knee strike to the face! Andre sets him up on the top turnbuckle and starts to climb up-
Jake Mercer: JOSO ISN’T AS OUT OF IT AS HE THOUGHT AS JOSO KICKS ONE OF THE LEGS, KNOCKING ANDRE’S BALANCE OFF! ANDRE LANDS ON HIS FEET, HOWEVER, AND JUST AS JOSO TRIES TO STAND UP, ANDRE SHOVES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE AND JOSO NEARLY TAKES A NASTY LANDING AS HE’S ABLE TO HOLD ONTO THE ROPE!
Stew-O: Andre reaches through the ropes to get his hands on Joso and tries to pull him back into the ring, but Joso shoots forward for a shoulder thrust to the gut! And now a kick to Andre now that Joso is back on his feet, sending Andre back! Andre charges forward and Joso slingshots into the ring over the middle rope right past him, rolling over onto his feet and going forward into the ropes ahead of him-
Flannery McCoy: “HUNGER ON HILLSIDE”!!!!!!!! ANDRE CATCHES JOSO OFF THE REBOUND WITH A HUGE SPEAR TO PUT HIM DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!!!!! ANDRE NOW WITH THE COVER ON JOSO AS HE’S GOT BOTH OF JOSO’S SHOUDLERS DOWN!!!!
OOONNNEEE!!!!
TTTWWWOOO!!!!
TTTHHHRRREEE!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“Leaving Caladan” begins to play and Andre comes off of Joso, getting his hand raised by the referee before he pulls it away once he sees Albert making his way into the ring with both of his Championships.)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… THE INTERWIRE AND WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION…. ANNNNNNDDDDDDRRRRRRREEEEEE WAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLKKKKKKKEEEEEEERRRRR!!!!
Stew-O: What a match from these two men just now, as Andre comes out on top over a very game and challenging Joso!
Flannery McCoy: Joso definitely showed signs of being able to combat Andre Walker and had him in moments struggling to try to anticipate what could be coming next from him; I’m sure that he’ll definitely want to meet Andre again knowing all that! Joso has an amazing ton of potential and I believe it was shown here against someone of Andre’s caliber, making for a great way to start the season!
Jake Mercer: We’ll get back in the gym and we’ll work out where you went wrong, Joso, we’ll get him next time!
Flannery McCoy: “We”? :mjpls:
Stew-O: An impressive showing from Joso, yes, but yet another match-up from Andre Walker where he walks away supreme! Andre’s momentum hasn’t showed signs of slowing down yet and coming into Season 16, it’s clear that he’s got intentions of keeping it going the way that it has been against anyone and everyone! It really should make whoever his potential contender could be really think about how they’re going to approach their match with him, as we’ll find out who’ll be facing off against Andre for the World Heavyweight Championship next week in that fatal four-way match! But for now, we leave you with the sight of Andre Walker once again standing tall! With Flannery McCoy and Jake Mercer, I’m Stew-O here on Friday Night Dynasty! We’ll see you all next week!
(As Andre stands in the middle of the ring with the World Heavyweight and Interwire Championships raised up over his head while Albert Hitchman watches on from just beside him, the scene fades out on Andre with him holding up his two Championships.)
