ARIA
This week’s Rising Star of the Week is ARIA! At An Aussie Summer Christmas Spectacular, ARIA competed in a huge six-person Tables, Ladders and Chairs match with a unique opportunity on the line, consisting of herself, Abel Atami, Roberto De La Rosa, Usagi Senshi, Oliver Taylor and Pandora Paisley! This was a really big match, and despite all of the hungry newcomers looking to capture their first big opportunity for themselves in this match, it was ARIA that was able to get the job done, winning a prize yet to be revealed. Congratulations!
Beef of the Week
ARIA vs Abel Atami vs Roberto De La Rosa vs Usagi Senshi vs Oliver Taylor vs Pandora Paisley
This week’s Beef of the Week goes to the big six-person TLC match between ARIA, Abel Atami, Roberto De La Rosa, Usagi Senshi, Oliver Taylor and Pandora Paisley! This was a very competitive match between six rising Elitists all looking for an opportunity that they’re not even sure of yet. This was a fantastic performance by the Elitists in this match, and this just went to show just how much they all really want to succeed here, which is always a good sign especially in a match like this. All six Elitists did great in this match, and showed that great things will definitely come in their futures.
Show of the Week
An Aussie Summer Christmas Spectacular
The Show of the Week for this week is the final show of 2021, An Aussie Summer Christmas Spectacular! This was already a great show as the winners of the End of the Year awards were revealed, but on top of this we had some fantastic matches, including the legendary Ronn Banks versus Andre Walker, the Haircare Kings versus Harlow Reichert and Xavier Williams with the Unified Tag Team Championships on the line, and Kassidy Heart and Mr. DEDEDE versus Cameron Ella Ava and Theron Nikolas in the main event of the show! These three matches plus all of the others on the show made for an amazing way to end 2021, and bring a start to 2022.
Match of the Week
Ronn Banks vs Andre Walker
This week’s Match of the Week goes to the match between the Interwire Champion Andre Walker, and the man making his in ring return, Ronn Banks! We knew this match was coming for some time now, but it was still shocking seeing Ronn Banks compete once again, and not only was it shocking, but it was amazing seeing just how good of a match he and Andre Walker were able to put on. It’s already known just how incredible these two competitors are with all they’ve accomplished in their respective careers, but this was such a great match and both Elitists should be proud of what they’ve done.
Promoer of the Week
Ronn Banks
This week’s Promoer of the Week is the man that returned to the ring for this match, EAW Hall of Famer Ronn Banks! Ronn Banks’ match with Andre Walker wasn’t something that anyone saw coming back when Ronn Banks first returned to Dynasty, but in the end not only did Ronn put on a fantastic match with Andre, proving that he hasn’t lost a step inside of the ring, but his promotional videos throughout of the week proved that whether it’s inside of the ring or through promos, Ronn Banks is still amazing at what he does. This week showed exactly why Ronn is as big of a name in EAW history as he is, and living up to his legacy or his talent even at the end of 2021 isn’t easy whatsoever.
Champion of the Week
Minerva
This week’s Champion of the Week is the National Elite Champion, Minerva! Only one week after competing inside of an Extreme Elimination Chamber, Minerva spent her night at An Aussie Summer Christmas Spectacular defending her National Elite Championship against another competitor inside of the match, in the form of Ryan Wilson. In the end Minerva managed to retain her Championship, proving that despite the major falling out that occurred between New Eden just one week before, Minerva is still just as dangerous as ever, and even if you’re at the top of your game, chances are you might not be able to take that Championship out of her hands.
Most Valuable Elitist
The Haircare Kings (Jake Smith and Chris Elite)
This week there are two Most Valuable Elitists, and those Elitists are the new Unified Tag Team Champions, Jake Smith and Chris Elite! Despite their setback at Road to Redemption, these two finally managed to cash in on their tag team turmoil tournament victory as they not only faced Harlow Reichert and Xavier Williams for their Unified Tag Team Championships, but they managed to win the titles, too. This is Jake Smith’s first Championship win since 2020 and Chris Elite’s first since 2018, and while these two may have seemed like unlikely partners at first, the Haircare Kings proved that they are at the top of their game, and as a team they’re just as great as promised. Congratulations!
