Rising Star of the Week
Limmy Monaghan
Our Rising Star of the Week is Limmy Monaghan! On Dynasty, Limmy competed in an extremely competitive match against one of the participants of the World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber in MITSUBACHI, and in the end Limmy was able to capture the victory. That was a great win for Limmy ahead of Road to Redemption, and if Limmy keeps this up he definitely has a great chance of walking out of Road to Redemption with the PURE Championship around his waist.
Beef of the Week
Limmy Monaghan vs MITSUBACHI
Without a doubt, Beef of the Week was Limmy Monaghan versus MITSUBACHI. These two have always been very hard working Elitists for the most part, but this week they took things to another level, definitely making a statement and showing why everyone should be on the lookout for them in the future. While only one man was able to secure the victory, both men put up a fantastic performance that’ll definitely be remembered for weeks to come.
Show of the Week
Dynasty
Our Show of the Week for this week was Dynasty. Dynasty was a packed show this week, featuring huge matches such as both of the Grand Prix finals matches. We also saw matches such as Jake Smith versus Dray Fontana, and the great encounter between Limmy Monaghan and MITSUBACHI. This was a great show all around, and there’s no doubt that shows like this do more than bring hype and excitement for Road to Redemption.
Match of the Week
The Blicky Boyz vs the Jaded Hearts
Match of the Week for this week was the Grand Prix semifinals match between the Blicky Boyz and the Jaded Hearts. This was a fantastic match, and honestly that’s not unexpected in the slightest. In a match between four former World Champions and two experienced tag teams who faced each other in the past, this time with even higher stakes, this was bound to be a fantastic match and there’s no doubt that it delivered.
Promoer of the Week
The Blicky Boyz
After the week Malcolm Jones and Chris Elite had, there was no way that just one of them could be chosen as promoer of the week. Both men had a fantastic performance all throughout the week, and proved exactly why they deserved to make it to the finals of the Grand Prix. These two are proving that they’re still just as good as always, if not even better than ever. Congratulations to the Blicky Boyz and fantastic work this week.
Champion of the Week
SOSA Henderson
Champion of the Week is Voltage’s World Champion, EAW Champion SOSA Henderson. On Voltage SOSA would go up against Azrael, the man who managed to take out the Champion after qualifying for the Extreme Elimination Chamber. In the end SOSA came out of his match successful, defeating one of his competitors in that upcoming EAW Championship match at Road to Redemption. This is a great win for SOSA, and exactly what he needs as we approach the free-per-view.
Most Valuable Elitist
Liquid Swordz
Again, there’s no way only one of these two could be chosen. On Dynasty Impact and Mr. DEDEDE defeated the Shea Butter Babies to move on to the finals of the Grand Prix, but not only did they do that, but Mr. DEDEDE managed to capture a victory over the Visual Prophet after House of Glass, where Viz would retain his title against him. This was surely a satisfying win for the two especially knowing Impact’s history with Serena Bennett. Now these two have the Grand Prix finals to look forward to, and the chances of them winning are high.
