Dynasty 10/16/26

(EAW intro plays…)

(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. A recap of last week’s show plays before a live view of the arena comes to life. The pyro goes off, and then, the shot falls onto the commentary team.)

Stew-O: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the go-home edition of FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY! I am Stew-O, and as always, I am hooked by Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy! House of Glass is almost upon us!

Jake Mercer: It sure is! One more week, and despite there being… well, some subtle discord amongst the roster, everyone is looking to stake their claim next weekend!

Flannery McCoy: Definitely going to be an exciting night for sure. Dynasty always delivers despite the issues at times, and that’s not going to change.

(Friday Night Dynasty transitions from the commentary desk to the stage, as the sounds of ‘Partition (Smearcase Trap Remix)‘ by Beyoncé begins to play up to a loud reaction. The camera goes over to the stage to reveal none other than Kassidy Heart as she’s seen making her way out from the backstage area. She has a serious expression on her face as she glares around, taking a moment before beginning to make her way down the ramp.)

Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… EAW HALL OF FAMER!!!!!!! THE MAULER… KASSIDY HEART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stew-O: We’re kicking off the show tonight with The Mauler, and we know that she’s had her issues over these past couple of weeks with one King Sulyvahn IV, and you can’t help but wonder if that resentment has pushed her over the edge.

Flannery McCoy: She’s certainly felt as though she’s been disrespected since her return, and she’s going to ensure that she rises back up, even if it does come at the expense of Tyrone Montgomery and Dynasty.

Jake Mercer: And lord knows the last thing that you want to be in is Kassidy Heart’s way!

(Kassidy makes her way up the steps and onto the apron as she enters through the ropes and into the ring. She makes her way over and takes a microphone from the ringside area while ‘Partition (Smearcase Trap Remix)’ begins to come to a close. As she heads toward the center of the ring, she takes a moment before she begins to speak.)

Kassidy Heart: People think that making a match against me is the most defining moment of their career, but they learn real quick that it’s not gunna go the way that they expect. Since his arrival to Dynasty, we’ve seemingly all propped King Sulyvahn IV up on his high horse, showering him in praise for his mediocre efforts and success that his lineage accumulated on his behalf. I can’t say that I’m very surprised. For as long as I’ve known, this company has been a little too accepting of the bare minimum, but guess what? I think it’s time to change that and shake some shit up.

(The crowd once again reacts as Kassidy pauses.)

Kassidy Heart: What I’ve been struggling to answer is why do I need to cater to so-called Elitists who could never be me even on their best day? What point is there to even entertain the idea that “kInG sUlYvaHn” is going to even be able to lay a hand on me? There’s not much sense to that, is there? This is just another match where a poor, helpless charity case needs me to make a star out of them, but I’m not going to be the stepping stone to their success. If this is who Tyrone Montgomery wants to center his brand around, then that’s fine… that just gives me even more incentive to rip their arms out of their sockets and scorch them into a fine powder. That’s cool.

(Kassidy paces around, a glare on her face while she does.)

Kassidy Heart: It baffles me that I have to demand respect around here, because frankly, respect is something that should’ve already been given. But I’ve done it before, and it’s something that I can do again, and if Sulyvahn wants to find out the hard way why the fuck I got to the position that I’m in with this company, that’s all well and good. But you fuck with the best wrestler in the WORLD and you’re destined to get your ass handed to you. So why waste time with any bullshit formalities?

(Kassidy lowers her microphone with a pause, but before she can say anything else… ‘Equus’ by Ne Obliviscaris begins to play up!)

Stew-O: Well, it was only a matter of time! Sulyvahn is here, and I don’t think he’s going to take very kindly to the words being said by the Hall of Famer tonight!

(King Sulyvahn IV makes his way out from the backstage area, but it’s in a much more brisk manner than he usually does. He throws his coat jacket to the ground, rolling up his sleeves, as this gesture is something that Kassidy reads into very clearly.)

Flannery McCoy: But it doesn’t look like he’s here to talk! HE SLIDES INTO THE RING AND TAKES KASSIDY DOWN WITH A DOUBLE LEG! AND HERE WE GO!

Jake Mercer: SULYVAHN IS NAILING KASSIDY WITH REPEATED STRIKES TO THE FACE, AS THE MAULER IMMEDIATELY BRINGS HER HANDS UP, LOOKING TO DEFEND HERSELF FROM THE INCOMING ATTACK!

Stew-O: BUT KASSIDY FINALLY MANAGES TO SHOVE AWAY! SULYVAHN STUMBLES UP- ONLY TO BE MET WITH A CLOTHESLINE TO SEND HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE AND OUT OF THE RING! AND SHE QUICKLY ROLLS HERSELF OUT AND LOOKS TO CONTINUE THE FIGHT!

Flannery McCoy: KASSIDY GRABS SULYVAHN AND RUNS HIM FORWARD BEFORE SLAMMING HIM AGAINST THE FRONT OF THE RING POST! Sulyvahn stumbles forward and drops down to a knee, as Kassidy makes her way over and begins to pick him up-

Jake Mercer: BUT SULYVAHN WRAPS AROUND HER WAIST AND RUNS HER DIRECTLY INTO THE EDGE OF THE APRON! AND NOW THE TWO OF THEM ARE CONTINUING TO THROW BOMBS AT ONE ANOTHER BACK AND FORTH!

Stew-O: Finally, though, security is rushing in to break these two up! They are being pulled apart and needless to say this was a chaotic start to Friday Night Dynasty! This feud has reached its boiling point!

(Kassidy is dragged backward away from Sulyvahn, but he’s not satisfied yet. He makes his way over to the timekeeper’s area and snatches a microphone, raising it to his mouth.)

King Sulyvahn IV: I have had ENOUGH of this! If you think, even for a second, that I am just going to allow myself to be subjected to your chastising and degrading, then at House of Glass you have a whole other thing coming for you! You are going to see EXACTLY the type of competitor that I am, and that is BETTER… than the BEST!

(Sulyvahn slams his microphone down to the ground as this causes Kassidy to snarl. She continues to try and tear through security, but unfortunately for her, they’ve got her pretty well restrained, as the only thing she can do at the moment is scream profanities toward him.)

(The two of them are escorted toward different parts of the arena, as it’s the very last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty begins to fade to elsewhere.)

  • Yeah, we have that match at Wicked Games coming up, but I don’t think this would be a bad warm-up for us. No offense, of course. 😉- SUMMARY: BRAE is outside enjoying the fresh air and Cy notices from afar after having parked his car. He links up with him, star viewing together. BRAE jokes how its nice the weather aint crazy cold in Mexico. Cy agrees, and that’s when they begin to reflect on their season 20 together as well as their recent teaming up. Neither men treat the other as a friend but the mutual respect is present on top of the consistent need to prove themselves. Cy of course wants to keep Big Match Cy alive while brae seeks to be world champ. Cy then admits that he definitely does think BRAE has what it takes to win the WHC-but then says that either way it aint gonna come at his expense in the future. Both men keke bout that and have a friendly disagreement on that but then they also realize that things on Dynasty have been a bit… off. Since the whole story is that the talent haven’t been all that happy with how disorganized things are and how it appears Tyrone is favoring other talent over the others, Cy and BRAE, who have been more so impartial on that end, admit that the fact it appears they can miss out on HOG does unsettle them. Cy is especially peeved because while he understands the importance of new stars getting their shine-especially when he was once considered a new face for a new era in his heyday-he has shown he can still go and he definitely doesn’t want any of these young cats or people with hype to their name coming along and getting shit handed to them. BRAE agrees, although he isn’t as bothered. Then, nearby, a set of cackling and kekeing is heard, and guess what? It’s from jamie and haruka. Both women poke fun at the supposedly “corny” heart to heart in their eyes which, of course, BRAE and Cy don’t take well. Cy says is it even a good idea for them to be talking shit when they have that tag title match coming up at Wicked Games and the girls admit that they do, but at least they won’t have to worry about their spots being taken, especially when there’s a chance for them to win their respective first titles in EAW together on a different brand. BRAE and Cy snort at this; Cy also picks up that Jamie came in trying to tout her background while Haruka had her own run in EAW years ago but that ended up being a bust. Both women get annoyed but Haruka is the more self aware one and admits that there is an obvious cloud hanging over her head but she’s ready to go. She’s got Jamie now and she was able to pick up a win last week against Brianna so things are looking up. Jamie then warns that both men better calm themselves and their egos cause they will be passing them up soon and the boys are like oh, word? They then challenge them both to a match at house of glass, and at first Jamie and Haruka are shook because that would mean they’d have to compete at back to back shows, but Jamie puffs out her chest and says the quote, and they ultimately agree to it. They then leave and Cy and Brae look at each other, frankly annoyed by the attitudes but at least it can be a two for one for them. Cy brings up that the girls will be on Voltage this week too and that they should get a close look to see what they’re really about, to which brae agrees.

(The camera cuts to the backstage, the shot following Kendall Von as she struts down the hallway with purpose, her path leading her right to the foot of Tyrone Montgomery’s office. Despite the lingering Deja Vu of the situation, Kendall appeared to be all business, her purse hanging at the base of her wrist as her free hand knocked twice against the wooden frame of the door.)

Tyrone Montgomery: The door’s open, come in.

(The door subsequently and cleanly opened, with Kendall stepping inside after briefly letting her gaze draw across the interior of the office.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Ah, Kendall Von! It’s a pleasure to see you come by again. I hope that raise has been treating you well, I’m sure there’s no one else on Dynasty who would put that reward to good use like you would.

(Tyrone extended his hand across his desk, offering it to Kendall who looked down at it, giving a simple smile before accepting it.)

Kendall Von: It has, and that reward is actually what I wanted to talk with you about.

(After a firm shake, Tyrone retracted his arm across the desk, returning to a seated position, his expression lightening as he sat.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Well, after such a hard fought victory I’m more than willing to hear what you have to say, but I assumed that this matter was taken care of. But please, go on.

Kendall Von: Rewards are meant to elevate someone’s standing, legitimately rewarding someone’s efforts by boosting their stock. It’s really quite simple, which is why even though I am thankful for my reward, I can’t help but ask for something more aligned with what a reward should be. A “unique opportunity” entails something a bit more…unique, no?

(Tyrone nodded, listening to Kendall’s gripes but not speaking up just yet, leaving the floor to the elitist.)

Kendall Von: Whether it’s a championship opportunity, an elevation in contention for other championships, or just a match in general, I think I’ve earned more than a pay raise. Money is great not for what it is but for what it can bring you. It is the ultimate bargaining chip, taking you from an unenviable position to one that you want. It’s that simple, but there is one place where it matters little. Right here, in the next frontier that I intend to succeed in. In a place like Elite Answers Wrestling where merit is king, I have no need for something as inconsequential as money. Status here is tied to what you win, when you win, and how much you win. I won that unique opportunity at Territorial Invasion, so I believe it is only right that something a bit more concrete be ironed for my immediate future.

Kendall Von: You understand where I’m coming from, right?

Tyrone Montgomery: Of course, of course. You are a key member of this roster, so you have no reason to worry about whether there are immediate plans in line. This is just a very chaotic time for Dynasty, but your victory will earn you more than just a pay raise.

Kendall Von: Will it?

(Kendall’s gaze narrowed at the non-answer. Her expression does not change, but it is clear that wasn’t the answer she was hoping for, and Tyrone can clearly tell, leaning back in his seat.)

Kendall Von: Because it sounds like I’m being left in the same spot I was before Territorial Invasion, and frankly, it’s disrespectful to not even give me a proper match out of all this, as if I want to take that win and stagnate for another cycle. If I didn’t know any better, I’d find that such a course of action would reflect poorly on you, as if you are dismissing the seriousness of my position and potential trajectory here just because of my background. I understand that my transition to a career in EAW is unprecedented, and I know that it rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but it does not give anyone the excuse to ignore that when on the same playing field as everyone else, I have been racking up wins like no one else.

Kendall Von: I’m going to be perceived a certain way because of my background, hell, it’s going to carry over into how I present myself. Whether they want to call me arrogant, stuck-up, or not passionate about EAW to begin with, it doesn’t matter if I keep winning, but I can’t stand by and watch as that preconceived notion takes away from my achievements. If I wasn’t passionate about EAW, I wouldn’t be here to begin with. Why would I? I already had everything money could buy, but not this. I’m here to prove that I can succeed here with my own merit, using my unique perspective to climb the ladder once again.

Tyrone Montgomery: I understand where you’re coming from—

Kendall Von: You’re not taking this seriously enough, Tyrone. You’re not taking me seriously. Given my unique perspective and background combined with my exceptional financial acumen, I should be more than just a valuable commodity, I should be a mainstay on every show. I’m as multifaceted and multitalented as they come. I am a flagship product if utilized correctly, someone that Showdown or Voltage could never replicate, and you’re showing me no confidence. You can freely show that confidence to someone like Delaney, but when it comes to my earned opportunities you shuffle your feet.

Tyrone Montgomery: I hear you, Kendall, I really do, but you can’t compare your situations like that. The timing of these opportunities is very important, so I can’t go throwing around championship shots around, but believe me you are not being left in the dust. That opportunity is gonna build towards something, you just need to trust the process.

Kendall Von: Sure, you can’t give everyone shots at championships, but you can’t even get me on the path towards one, or even a high profile match period? I’m being left in the dark on my own season, having to wait week-by-week just to learn if I’m even in mind for an opportunity, and when I actually go out and get that opportunity on my own, I am rewarded with something I already have.

Kendall Von: Frankly, it’s disrespectful.

(Tyrone frowned, understanding that his attempts at talking Kendall down were falling on deaf ears, or rather, that Kendall was refusing to entertain them anymore. Kendall raised her free arm, placing her hand against her hip.)

Kendall Von: But, that’s all just talk, and it’s obvious you and everyone else needs to see what I’m talking about if you’re ever gonna take me seriously, so I’m taking matters into my own hand. At House of Glass I will be competing, and it doesn’t matter who I have to face. I’m putting out an open challenge to anyone on this roster or the next to come out and face me, and maybe then you’ll realize how poorly you’re handling a prospect like me.

Tyrone Montgomery: Uh, I don’t think that’s necessary—

Kendall Von: It is. Really, it’s the only hand I have left to play, as you’ve had me fold each and every week. Waiting at the back of the line for you to remember what I’m capable of is obviously a losing strategy, and absolutely no one has ever succeeded by buying high.

Tyrone Montgomery: Please, Kendall, just wait a second. You don’t have to make a big show of this.

Kendall Von: But I do. It’s that kind of stagnated thinking that loses an elitist even more opportunities, that loses a brand Brand Warfare or War Games. But if you’re willing to give out championship opportunities to the likes of Delaney or AKIZA, then I surely mustn’t be all that far behind, so I’m just gonna have to prove how much better I am than anyone who can step up to me at House of Glass. That’s all.

(Before Tyrone could respond properly, Kendall had raised her hand before her face and flexed out her curled knuckle, letting her index finger push her glasses up the bridge of her nose. She pivoted around, clutched her purse closer to her side and walked out, wearing the same expression on her face that she walked in with. Tyrone could only watch, a dumbfounded expression on his own face as the door shut behind her. He let out a sigh, resting his face in his hand while nodding side to side.)

Tyrone Montgomery: What a mess, this is becoming far too much to handle…

(He muttered to himself, the shot fading out as Dynasty transitioned elsewhere, bringing the segment to a close.)

(Friday Night Dynasty returns as the sounds of ‘The Weight’ by Amigo The Devil begin to play up. The crowd gives a loud reaction as we go over to see Kirk Redwood storming out to the stage. He has a glare on his face as he focuses in, beginning to make his way down the ramp.)

Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… THE DOG OF WAR… KIRK REDWOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stew-O: Last week, Kirk Redwood found himself embroiled into issues with his tag partner of the previous week, Harper Lee. And needless to say, he wasn’t going to take the disrespect being put forward.

Flannery McCoy: And now he’s making his way down to the ring with a purpose, looking to respond after Harper laid her out after their interaction, and I don’t think it’s going to be anything pleasant!

(Kirk makes his way up the steps and onto the apron as he enters into the ring. He storms over and snatches a microphone from the ringside area as ‘The Weight’ begins to come to a close. As he turns around toward the center of the ring, he takes a moment before beginning to speak.)

Kirk Redwood: I’m getting real sick and tired of the disrespect that’s been put on my name this past year. Everyone and their mother thinks that they can make an example out of me because I’m an easy target; I’m someone they can poke and prod because I haven’t substantiated anything worthwhile, but that’s where you’re wrong. All this can bring a real monster out of you, and the one person who’s going to find that out for themselves is Harper Lee. That son of a bitch who thinks she can run my name through the mud and pin the blame on me, she’s gonna find out real quick that this Dog doesn’t go down so easily to that sort of thing.

(Kirk paces around, a dead serious expression on his face while he does.)

Kirk Redwood: I’ve shown just how lowdown I can go. I gave Harper the chance to walk away while she could, but she didn’t, and now she’s going to pay the price for it and find out firsthand exactly why I am the last person she wants to try and pick a fight with. If this is the cross that she wants to bear, then she can, and she can continue running her mouth about how she did nothing wrong and that everything can be pinned on me… but it’s not going to be that easy. She’s not going to run around unchecked, unscathed; I’ll make sure of that personally. If what she thinks happened two weeks ago was the end of the world, don’t let her get into the ring with me and be forced to find out firsthand exactly the type of shit that she’s gotten herself into.

(The crowd cheers at this as Kirk turns toward the hard camera, glaring at it.)

Kirk Redwood: I’ve made my mistakes, sure—but that Cash in the Vault briefcase isn’t enough to cover up all of the bullshit you’ve left behind.

(Before Kirk can say anything else, ‘Sweet Dreams’ by Eurythmics begins to play through the speakers of the arena. The crowd boos loudly as the Cash in the Vault holder, Harper Lee, begins to make her way out. She has a disgusted expression on her face as she glares at the ring, starting to head down the ramp.)

Stew-O: And here comes Harper Lee, who certainly doesn’t agree with anything that Kirk has to say toward her.

Jake Mercer: Kirk claims that Harper doesn’t know what she’s getting herself into, but we can’t seem to forget what Harper Lee has done throughout the duration of her career! She’s picked fights and gotten away with it, and that might just be another case of that tonight.

(Harper makes her way up the steps and onto the apron as she enters into the ring. She snatches a microphone as ‘Sweet Dreams’ begins to come to a close. She turns around and approaches Kirk, a glare on her face as she begins to speak.)

Harper Lee: Um, excuse me? What is that supposed to mean? I don’t know if you realized it yet, but I don’t like being talked down to by someone who is nowhere near my level. I’m disgusted, and quite frankly, I’m appalled. I gave you the chance to apologize to me and do the right thing, but it’s clear you’re too much of an animal to do that, so let me forcefeed this to you in a way that you’re going to be able to understand… there is no way that I’m going to let you face me!

(The crowd boos loudly, Harper rolling her eyes.)

Harper Lee: I’ve already wasted so much of my time on you, why do you think that I’m going to let that happen again? Just… move on. Go find something else to do with your time rather than try and waste mine, it’s just not something that I really care about. I have better things to do than deal with Kirk Redwood.

(Harper turns around and begins to walk away, but before she can, Kirk speaks.)

Kirk Redwood: You don’t think you can handle it?

Harper Lee: Excuse YOU? If there’s one thing you should be asking yourself it’s whether or not you can handle me inside the ring. You’ve lost every big opportunity that you’ve had, what’s the point of having this conversation?

Kirk Redwood: If this wasn’t an issue for you, then you would have accepted the challenge and gotten it over with. But no, I’m wasting your time, right? I mean, it seems like you need this win more than me.

Harper Lee: I need… I need this win more than you??? Are you…

(Harper closes her eyes, trying to consider whether or not Kirk Redwood is trying to ragebait him right now. After a moment, she finally exhales.)

Harper Lee: Fine… fine! If that’s what it takes to get you to shut up, then you can face me. But just know, you’re already an idiot, and this is probably the most idiotic thing that you’ve ever done in your pathetic career.

(Kirk chuckles at this, a gesture that makes Harper even more annoyed than she was before.)

Kirk Redwood: Just making sure we’re on the same page…

Stew-O: OH! KIRK RUSHES FORWARD AND TACKLES HARPER DOWN TO THE GROUND! AND NOW HE’S BEGINNING TO UNLOAD WITH REPEATED SHOTS TO THE FACE! SOME PAYBACK FOR WHAT HAPPENED LAST WEEK!

Flannery McCoy: AND HARPER IS TRYING TO DEFEND HERSELF, BUT SHE’S IN DIRE STRAITS RIGHT NOW CERTAINLY NOT THE BEST SITUATION TO FIND YOURSELF IN!

Jake Mercer: AND NOW KIRK IS GRABBING HARPER AND SETTING HER UP! AS HE LIFTS HER UPSIDE DOWN AND IS TRYING TO GO FOR DOWN TO HELL! THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER-

Stew-O: NO! HARPER ROLLS OUT OF THE RING AND MANAGES TO ESCAPE!

(Harper rolls out of the ring as she stumbles backward up the ramp. She clutches herself in pain, glaring at Kirk with a pissed-off expression on her face now more than ever. Kirk is yelling at her to get back inside and continue the fight, but it’s clear that she has no interest in doing that right now.)

Flannery McCoy: It seems this interaction has come to a head, but one thing’s for certain is that we have a match made official for House of Glass in just one week. Kirk Redwood finally gets to show Harper Lee what he’s about, and the Cash in the Vault holder might not like the sight of it.

Jake Mercer: And it’s certainly going to be interesting to see what comes of this dynamic! But one thing’s for certain is that Harper Lee is more annoyed than ever! And that’s certainly not going to do well for her psyche!

(The last shot seen is Kirk standing tall in the ring, continuing to be ready for battle, as Friday Night Dynasty begins to fade to elsewhere.)

(Coming back from commercial break, the show transitioned, the cameras cutting to the Inside of the office of Tyrone Montgomery’s. He was sitting behind his desk, with an exhausted look on his face. His head perked up as soon as he heard a knock on the door.)

Tyrone Montgomery: It’s open..

(In walked none other than one of the fairly new signees to the Dynasty brand, TFK who had a small look of confusion on his face as to why he was invited to Tyrone’s office in the first place..)

TFK: You needed to see me sir?

(Tyrone gave a small smile and nod as he placed his elbows on the desk and he leaned forward..)

Tyrone Montgomery: Ah, yes there is a very good reason why I decided to invite you here into my office this evening. However I’ll get started when the other two make their way here and that should be.. right about now actually.

(Just as he said so, into the room walked Rei Oboro with Brianna Hill soon following in behind. All 3 competitors standing in front of the desk of Tyrone’s. A small and weakish smile formed on his face as he clasped his hands together.)

Tyrone Montgomery: I am to assume that you’re all wondering why I specifically invited the 3 of you into my office this evening. And I do not want to waste anymore of you guys’ time, so I’ll get right into why I did invite you all here in the first place. Recently we’ve seen that the feud for the Interwire Championship has been heating up and it’s become very intense with the likes of Effy McAvoy, Daryl Kinkade and Chris Elite.. the intensity of that feud has gone to an all time high…

(Rei Oboro was kind of getting impatient, meanwhile TFK nodded in agreement with what Tyrone was saying, while Brianna just stood with her arms folded over her chest, quite frankly as ready to get this over with as the other two were..)

Rei Oboro: You look like shit…

(Tyrone gave a faint smile..)

Tyrone Montgomery: Thank you.. so kindly for pointing that out. Anyway, I called you all in here to let you know, with how intense the Interwire situation has turned out to be. I want to keep that hot streak going. And in doing so, I am giving you all an opportunity. It will be Rei Oboro vs TFK vs Brianna Hill in a triple threat match at House of Glass, in a Glass Rope match to determine the #1 contender to set in stone the challenger for the Interwire Championship. How does that sound to the three of you..?

(There was a small silence that filled the room as the three took a look around the room at one another, before finally TFK was the one to break that silence with a small shrug and a smile on his face, giving a nod, meanwhile Rei seemed to be slightly disgusted by the joy that he was showing in the moment..)

TFK: Oh that’s great news! You know with the way things have gone for me here lately. I can most certainly say that I am the most grateful for this opportunity Mr. Montgomery. I feel like this is exactly what I need to get back on track and to bounce back from the shortcomings that I’ve experienced lately. This is definitely going to be the match where I turn things around and where my dues will pay off and I truly believe that wholeheartedly. So I don’t really know about the others here, but I’d like to say thank you for an amazing opportunity. I’ll be sure to make the most of it, that’s for sure.

(Tyrone gave a faint smile and nod, meanwhile Rei just rolled her eyes at the excitement of TFK’s..)

Tyrone Montgomery: I am glad to hear that TFK—

Rei Oboro: Yeah yeah yeah. I wouldn’t put too much faith in yourself TFK. Because you still have to account for myself being in that match and I am more than excited to put whatever fairytale ending you have.. to bed, just like I am more than excited to put an end to any momentum that Brianna may think about gaining with an attempt to resurrect her own career. I will make it clearer.. neither yourself or Brianna are winning this match, I am going to make sure that I plunge the rest of Dynasty into pain and darkness.. things didn’t quite go as planned at Territorial Invasion, but this triple threat match WILL be where I prevail.

Tyrone Montgomery: Oh…brother..

(Brianna tilted her head at Rei as if she were talking crazy, folding her arms over her chest, but she kind of brushes it off.)

Brianna Hill: I don’t see an issue with this match. I mean, I don’t see exactly any other choice for myself.. is there? With the recent losses that I’ve been taking lately, this may just be my best shot at turning things around for myself and making up for—

Rei Oboro: Oh.. boohoo. Too many sob stories! You’re both losers, and you’re the most gullible if you truly believe that this is going to be the match to get you both back on the path that you see yourself on. You’re both naive and pathetic. Especially you Brianna. Because you weren’t even capable enough to stop Dynasty’s brand warfare team from falling apart.. now were you?

(Rei turned her head towards TFK, the visible annoyance being seen on the face of Tyrone’s as he rubbed his temples..)

Rei Oboro: You’ve shown up here on EAW, making these false claims. Yeah, you’ve shown up, but you haven’t TRULY shown up. The only thing that’s been showing up for you, are the losses that you’ve continued to take on your record. This match will not be a stepping stone for either of you, but rather it will be the stepping stone for me. You two and your stench of losses are just in the way and it’s stinking up this match.. but don’t fret. I am going to clean both of you up and add more losses to your record.

(TFK scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest as Brianna just stood, listening to Rei’s nonsense. TFK finally speaking up as a small chuckle escaped his lips.)

TFK: Wow.. you most certainly have all this planned out don’t you? You seem really really confident in yourself to be the one to pull this win off over the two of us. The loudest in the room and yet, what exactly do YOU have to show for it? Hm? You’re no better than the both of us. Just a loud mouth who is making all of these false claims and are telling us what you’re going to do, before we ever get to the action. But will you truly show up when it’s time to put up or shut up? Or will that mouth have written you a check that you can’t cash…? I am curious to know…

(Brianna herself had allowed a small scoff and chuckle to escape her lips as she scratched at her head, shaking it. Rei rolling her eyes at TFK’s words, before finally Brianna spoke up.)

Brianna Hill: Wow… okay.

(Brianna looked towards Rei, clapping her hands together as she was fully focused on her now.)

Brianna Hill: Are.. you like done here? Like I was hearing a lot of words come out of your mouth sister. And yet you still said nothing that hasn’t been said before. Like, who are you feeling like? Speaking down on myself and TFK here like you’ve gotten any closer than us to gaining any momentum or success. And the funniest part about all of it, is that these words that you speak now, you actually believe them. I just think it’s funny that the loudest in the room actually thinks that that automatically qualifies them to be the odds on favorite in this match. Well.. I hate to burst your bubble, but you’re gonna have a tall mountain to climb Rei..

(Rei just simply scoffed as she shook her head and she folded her arms over her chest after listening to the two clap back at her..)

Rei Oboro: The underestimation will truly be the demise of the both of you.. such fools to truly believe that your fairytale happy ending will become a reality. That’s always how the feel good story goes doesn’t it? Well not in this world. In this world? Yourself and TFK truly do not understand what is coming to the both of you at House of Glass. And it isn’t your fault.. you’re both just blinded by false destinies… but you will see very very soon..

(Rei gave a stare between the two, before she shook her head once again and she left the room, leaving TFK and Brianna Hill by themselves. TFK looked towards Tyrone with a smile..)

TFK: That was.. interesting wasn’t it? Nevertheless, thank you Mr.Montgomery for the opportunity, I truly appreciate it.

(Tyrone gave TFK a nod, and a smile in return, before TFK nodded and he made his way out of the office. The camera panned back over to Brianna Hill, who was standing with her arms folded and a hand under her chin, seemingly in deep thought and very quiet. As the show transitioned elsewhere.)

(The camera transitions backstage to the office of Tyrone Montgomery. He looks more stressed than usual. Hands press into his forehead while his elbows are propped up on the desk. A sigh breaks from him—but with a knock comes the reminder that he has to gather himself. Clearing his throat, he adjusts his tie.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Come in!

(Then, quietly, mumbling to himself:)

Tyrone Montgomery: Just let this be a calm situation this time… :snoop:

(The door opens, and Michael Machina steps through. There’s no real expression to him. He approaches the general manager, who perks up, and lets out a more relieved sigh.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Michael, there you are. Thanks for stopping by. Can’t lie, though—with how late you came, I thought you weren’t going to come at all.

Michael Machina: Huh? Not gonna come? And why would I ghost you?

Tyrone Montgomery: Well, you know, it’s been about twenty minutes over the time I asked you to visit me at.

(Michael eyes him up and down.)

Michael Machina: And do you think time is supposed to answer at your beck and call? I made it, didn’t I? Should be no issue.

Tyrone Montgomery: I mean, it isn’t; I was just joking anyhow, so you don’t have to be so—

Michael Machina: Be what?

(An awkward silence stretches before Tyrone speaks.)

Tyrone Montgomery: … Chippy.

Michael Machina: …Tch. Yeah. Sorry I don’t feel like smiling wide like some dickhead at random.

Tyrone Montgomery: Right….

(Michael shakes his head, clearly unamused. He takes his seat, pulling the chair a bit closer. His eyes, however, never leave Tyrone.)

Michael Machina: Anyway, what was it you wanted to speak to me about? ‘Less it’s about, you know, slotting me in on House of Glass? Seeing as how I don’t even get a match on that show.

(A scoff. One arm reclines back on the headrest of the seat, while a scowl is made evident.)

Michael Machina: Funny how that works.

(Tyrone taps his fingers together. He can tell something is off, especially with the growing change in Michael. But, he does his best to answer—and he doesn’t try to lie.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Well, you know, with all of your recent talks about needing to change and there being some kind of shift, I figured you would’ve… I don’t know, create an opportunity for yourself.

Michael Machina: Create an.. Opportunity?

(Michael blinks. Tyrone nearly flat. However, he presses on.)

Tyrone Montgomery: I mean, with your words, what you were saying and just the overall demeanor, it seemed like you wanted some kind of change to happen, so—

Michael Machina: So?

(…)

Tyrone Montgomery: N-nevermind.

(…)

(Michael just sits there, staring a hole into the general manager. Then, he laughs—but there’s not a single trace of humor to be found within it. To say he was annoyed, or offended, would be an understatement.)

Michael Machina: See, this is the exact shit I was talking about.

(His finger points out.)

Michael Machina: I honestly never cared for the dumbass little backstage chatter that’s been happening all season long so far, but now, I’m beginning to understand what everyone else meant. You get a few shiny new toys, or try to rub off the dulled crap that’s on others, and it’s like you’ve forgotten about people who helped to build this brand up, like me.

(Now it’s Tyrone’s turn to look on in disbelief. He quickly shakes his head, waving his hands.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Forgotten? Wait, whoa, Michael, I think you’re being a bit dramatic here. I’d never forget about you! What are you saying?

(That doesn’t help.)

Michael Machina: Nah, nah, don’t butter me up with all of that superficial crap. You’re tryna blow smoke up my ass but I ain’t stupid. I can see and hear for myself how much of a waste everything has truly been for me lately. I don’t even try to get caught up in these little things, but how do you honestly expect me to feel when you say you thought I was gonna create my own opportunities? I don’t need opportunities. I’m supposed to be a made fuckin’ man, but lately, it hasn’t been feeling that way.

Tyrone Montgomery: So, you think you aren’t valued here?

(Michael grows silent.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Michael?

(…)

(Michael sighs. For the first time, his stare breaks, and he looks off to the side, hands curled into the other. Almost white-knuckled.)

Michael Machina: That’s putting it mildly.

(Tyrone sighs, but he continues to look on, giving Michael the space to say what he needs to.)

Michael Machina: I dunno. Maybe losing to Drake has soured me a little because I know that pompous asshole feels vindicated. However, when I take a step back and look at the optics? I mean, respectfully, my man: it’s no wonder why a good chunk of folks have been miserable. In no fuckin’ world are the likes of NICK, Yanni Killbrew and David Gideon Smith main event material, let alone for a world championship match.

Tyrone Montgomery: Okay, but who are you to say that?

(Michael snaps his eyes back onto him.)

Tyrone Montgomery: No, that’s not what I— Oh dear … Look. The one thing that has separated Dynasty from everyone else is that this is the true land of opportunity. I look at Elitists from every corner of the world, see their potential, and I do my best to platform them. Much like I’ve done for you. I mean, you took off like nothing, then Voltage was able to nab you for a season before you came back home and, sure enough, became world heavyweight champion here. You’ve been invaluable—but if I had stuck to the usual legends and made folks, that spot would’ve been harder to come by.

Michael Machina: Oh. So, what: I’m supposed to owe my success to you?

Tyrone Montgomery: You know, Michael, I’m beginning to think you’re purposefully beginning to misconstrue my words all because you’re looking to be mad at something.

(Michael’s lips purse. Tyrone, by this point, isn’t as antsy. He continues, doing his best to balance his words in a way that wouldn’t set Michael off without having to take any potential disrespect on his end.)

Tyrone Montgomery: I get it. It sucks to lose. It sucks to see some people ahead, and yeah, I have made my dislike for Drake King known. It doesn’t make me happy at all that he’s supposed to be the main face representing me and this brand after everything that happened last season. You think I want to sit here, smile, and allow some haughty fool with a god complex to run around? No! But, he’s a hall of famer, someone who is infuriatingly consistent, and he happened to get the better of you twice.

(Michael’s lip twitches, but Tyrone carries on.)

Tyrone Montgomery: You’re right to be annoyed. This is a sport at the end of the day, but what you’re not allowed to do is accuse me of not caring for everyone individually, especially when it comes to you. I’m not looking to cast you aside just because you’re not the world champion anymore.

Michael Machina: Well, it damn sure feels that way. The lines are gettin’ hazier, Tyrone—and if I can’t see straight what’s the future for me, then it’s better I’m told the truth directly rather than tryna get my hopes up.

Tyrone Montgomery: Michael, you could never be replaced. You’ve done so much for this brand. Please, do not ever think that isn’t recognized…

(The former world heavyweight champion hangs his head. A sigh passes. Then, he shoots up, already making a move towards the door.)

Michael Machina: If you say so. Well, I hope House of Glass is a success. Hope everyone knocks it out of the park or whatever, but it’s clear I got a whole lot of adjusting to do since things are moving quickly.

Tyrone Montgomery: Michael? Come on, don’t tell me you’re leaving. I haven’t even—

Michael Machina: Nah. Nah, it’s… it’s fine. I’m over it. Sitting and mopping ain’t gonna get me shit anyhow.

(His hand lingers on the door knob. Then, with a forced smile, he looks back at Tyrone.)

Michael Machina: Might as well create my own opportunities, right, boss?

(Tyrone hesitates for a moment, but answers. Barely above the tone of a whisper.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Y–yeah. Right…

(Michael nods. He steps out not long after. The door does not slam, but it carries the weight of the frustrations he’s had for months—and that pressure settles into Tyrone as Dynasty transitions to a different part.)

(Elsewhere, Anna Wautier is leaning against a wall. A set of footsteps catches her attention, breaking the champion from her little spell.)

Anna Wautier: Winona?

(Winona Hendrickson walks on by, already intrigued by something. She gets closer, eyeing Anna.)

Winona Hendrickson: Funny. Didn’t think you would be the type to mope backstage.

(The comment generates a blink, but Anna doesn’t loosen up.)

Anna Wautier: Would you really consider this moping on my part? But if that is the case, then I believe I have a right to do so considering some of your comments from last week. I thought we were in a place in which our respect would be upheld, but… do you truly believe I barely got by Wynter?

Winona Hendrickson: Well, I didn’t mean anything personal by it, but I saw the match. Everyone’s seen it. Even some of the other Elitists have brought it up backstage before.

Anna Wautier: Really?

(Anna blinks again.)

Anna Wautier: So, is that a common perception? That I barely “get by” with certain competitions?

(Winona shrugs.)

Winona Hendrickson: I wouldn’t say it’s common, but if it’s got you this hung up, then I don’t know, maybe you feel like part of it is true? I don’t want to be the kind of person who’s deliberately trying to get smart, though. Again, I’m not trying to turn this whole thing into something it doesn’t have to be. I know you work hard and fought just as hard to be a champion, but at the same time… optics are optics.

(Anna mouths the word ‘optics’ to herself. Winona, seeing this, speaks up.)

Winona Hendrickson: I just feel like you should be way more fired up than contemplating on how you’re perceived. I know I would be if I were in your shoes.

Anna Wautier: Well, Winona, you aren’t, and that is the thing: you won’t be. It seems as though you are worried about the wrong things.

Winona Hendrickson: Me? I mean, goodness, Anna, I’m not the one here walking around and pouting from a chip on my shoulder. :mjlol: You can ease it down a bit. I’m always going to think highly of you, and nothing has changed on my end when it comes to us.

(Winona then gestures, as if someone was behind her.)

Winona Hendrickson: Well, aside from that woman that you were a bit too quick to welcome into this match with welcomed arms.

Anna Wautier: Oh? So, would that mean you’re bothered by your current circumstances?

(That finally gets Anna to smirk—and Winona’s face to harden just slightly.)

Winona Hendrickson: Yeah, haha. Very funny, Anna. You know what? Yeah, sure. Guess you can say that. I was the one who won my opportunity to face you anyhow, but Venus decides to be a busybody and you’re willing to throw her a bone? I’m not going to say you were wrong. You’re a fighting champion. It’s part of your brand. However, you can imagine how I may feel seeing as how she, essentially, got a free ticket because of you.

Anna Wautier: And was I to turn down a challenge? I wasn’t going to tell her no. She sought to face me, and now, she’s involved. I have two sets of hungry eyes on me, but that won’t stray me from the purpose I’ve set out since becoming the New Breed Champion. So, if having an extra person around is what’s making you nervous in your own right, Winona…

(Anna glances down at the championship on her shoulder.)

Anna Wautier: Then perhaps you were never meant to be New Breed Champion after all. :troll:

Winona Hendrickson: :francis:

(However, before both women can say anything, Venus de Martin comes strutting in, snickering and looking all too interested.)

Venus de Martin: Awww, is my name passing around that much between the two of you? That’s cute. Didn’t think I could get the challenger and champion so frazzled, but I guess that means I’m really putting people on notice. 🤭

(She glances at Winona.)

Venus de Martin: By the way, babe, what’s with the long face? I mean, you’ve been spending weeks propping yourself up about how you’re going to do everything regardless of any challenges to win, right? So if you’re truly that confident, then my involvement shouldn’t be an issue.

Winona Hendrickson: You’re real cute, Venus—but you’re definitely the imaginative type.

Venus de Martin: Really? Cause I was just passing on by and hearing everything y’all both had to say. Hm. Guess this roster really is shook that people can come from another company and already find themselves in favorable positions. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Anna Wautier: Well, you happen to be in one of those positions because of me. Let’s not forget that.

Venus de Martin: Oooooh shit, and there’s the champion, breaking out of that nice, quiet girl schtick and talking that talk. Yes! As you should! Because this whole subtle respectful stuff isn’t working and hasn’t been working for a while. I can at least agree with Winona here and say that you should be more fired up.

Anna Wautier: And what does that look like? Disrespecting others? Launching unnecessary sneak attacks? Getting aggressive and making every match out to be some life or death experience? I live and breathe my role, but that doesn’t mean I have to follow along prior standards that were set, especially after defeating the man who has nearly reduced this division into a joke singlehandedly. The future of this company deserves better than that.

(Anna remains resolute, looking at the title once more before back up at both women.)

Anna Wautier: I want to offer something new and different, and that is why when I look at our match coming up at House of Glass, it’s something that I take seriously. I may not be similar to you two in terms of personality, but at least I am my own person. I do not care to chase trends. I aim to defy them, and hopefully, more people will be able to follow suit. If not? Then at least I can reflect upon this reign and be proud that I remained true to myself… because I definitely won’t be losing this title to any of you next weekend.

Winona Hendrickson: You say that now, every champion does, but I’ve come too far myself to let everything crumble for me at that show, Anna. And even if you want to throw a cute little wrench my way…

(Winona takes a step closer.)

Winona Hendrickson: It’s not gonna make a difference.

(Venus frowns.)

Venus de Martin: :usure: Alright, just because you real big and strong does not mean you can’t talk loose about me, especially when I am right here. You may not like it, but I’m still in this match, and after I take Anna down, you’re gonna join her.

Winona Hendrickson: Yeah? Then you better bring your A-game, then.

(Winona then turns to Anna.)

Winona Hendrickson: And try not to keep your heads in the cloud for too long.

(She then walks away, done with the pointless arguing. Venus watches, then cackles.)

Venus de Martin: Wow! So much for that damned spirit.

Anna Wautier: …

(Anna takes a couple of steps closer to Venus, who raises a brow. Hands on her hips, she eyes down the champion.)

Venus de Martin: Anyway, thanks for giving me the spot. Just hope you’re ready to hand that title over to me—

(CRACK!)

(Suddenly, Venus goes down on her knees, having been punched on the jaw! Anna walks off, and it takes a moment for her to gather herself before she slowly looks on in the direction the champion left in.)

(A scowl cuts through her face.)

Venus de Martin: Oh, you got no idea what’s gonna happen to you now…

(Venus rubs her jaw, slowly shaking her head before the camera switches elsewhere.)

(Backstage, Chris Elite can be seen pacing through the corridor, rubbing a hand behind his neck while his gaze darts from spot to spot, clearly in search of someone.)

Chris Elite: Man, where the hell is she at? Along with that dumb ass trainer or mentor or manager or whatever it is Ahren wants to pretend to be as now?

(Frustration knits through every subtle feature of his face. He storms forward, but his steps slow—attention diverting to a blond man who also seems like he’s trying to stake out someone. Chris approaches, and the camera hones in, revealing the other Elitist in question to be a not-so-pleased Daryl Kinkade.)

Chris Elite: Oh, there you are.

(Daryl lifts his eyes up to Chris. A sigh slips out.)

Daryl Kinkade: Not the time, man.

Chris Elite: Not the time? What do you mean?

Daryl Kinkade: Meaning, I’m a bit preoccupied, yeah? Trying to find Effy around these parts.

Chris Elite: Well, that’s funny, ‘cause I’m currently doing the same. In fact, maybe if we put both our heads together, we—

(Suddenly, Daryl shoots a hand out, causing Chris to pause, confused and incredulous.)

Chris Elite: Alright, now I KNOW you had to be raised better than that. Remove your hand from my face.

(Chris raises a brow—then, the corner of his lip raises.)

Chris Elite: Ooooh. I see. Feeling a little salty because the champ caught you unaware, huh? Can’t blame you since she did the same to me, but at least I’m trying to be productive and get her stupid ass back.

(That gets Daryl to narrow his eyes at Chris. The hand drops, but he takes a step forward.)

Daryl Kinkade: Not sure what you think this is, mate, but I really don’t care for the teasing right about now. You want to chat about being productive, but I assure you, now is not the time to mess around with me.

Chris Elite: And what makes you think I’m trying to do that?? :dahell: Clearly we BOTH aren’t too happy about getting done up by Effy. You and I had our issues and all of that, but I thought we put that to the side so that we can get the fraud out of the way and worry about the Interwire championship amongst ourselves.

Daryl Kinkade: Oh, so what, that’s supposed to make us buddies and partners in crime? Nah. You’ve always been shifty Chris; I was just willing to play along just because I figured it would’ve made things a bit easier. However, after Reckless Wiring, you should’ve been a smart-enough bloke to realize that all of that was only gonna be temporary.

(Chris scoffs.)

Chris Elite: No shit Sherlock. I never cared for things to go any further. What even gave you that impression? I’m not stupid. I mean, I’M the one who actually is the number one contender for the title, so I don’t give a damn about no partnership or alliance with you. Matter of fact? It should’ve been the other way around, if we really wanna get into that…

Daryl Kinkade: Oh? Why? Because you beat me? Or, let me guess: something something Charlie Marr. Something something can’t stand on my own even though I’ve proven that all of last bloody season and actually revitalized myself like I said I was going to?

Chris Elite: Well that’s good for you beloved—and I wasn’t even thinking about Charlie’s washed ass but look at you already getting defensive :umad:—but need I remind you that I already built myself back up again… and that actually came from me winning the title a couple of seasons ago? 🤔

(Daryl shakes his head, fanning off Chris.)

Daryl Kinkade: Whatever. Don’t care to enter a pissing contest with you. You’re not winning at House of Glass.

Chris Elite: Word??

(Now Chris gets closer, following after Daryl.)

Chris Elite: You’re having to cope. You couldn’t get up with me, and you decided to piggyback like you should’ve ‘cause otherwise, you probably would’ve joined the other Elitists who aren’t even booked for next weekend. You should be thanking me I decided to boost you up a bit and give you some help so you could’ve kept going after I whooped you. Don’t get mad now brodie because you realized you couldn’t handle me and you barely been able to handle Effy.

(Daryl whips around, and SHOVES CHRIS DOWN TO THE FLOOR!)

Daryl Kinkade: Shut the hell up, Chris! You didn’t help with anything. Have you lost your mind!? You really think you contributed to anything worthwhile for me? I’m just glad I got a title match, because not only can I lay Effy out for good, but your stupid, trifling, conceited ass can take a backseat once and for all. You need to be humbled proper.

(Chris doesn’t even remain stunned. He darts up, ready to go at Daryl—)

(CLUNK!)

(UNTIL BOTH MEN FALL AFTER A CHAIR WAS TOSSED AT THEM!)

Stew-O: WHOA! AND OUT OF NOWHERE, CHRIS AND DARYL COLLAPSE, HOLDING THEIR HEADS! BUT I THINK WE MAY KNOW WHO THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY IS!

(Sure enough, Effy McAvoy comes in, striding towards both men. With the Interwire Championship around her waist, she stands in the middle, in between Chris and Daryl. She leans forward, tsking and shaking her head.)

Effy McAvoy: Boys, boys, boys. If my opinion as the champion counts for anything, I would say that both of you were mistaken from the start. Assuming that I was easy fodder; that I never deserved to win this title; that I somehow lucked my way into my successes or needed Ahren to carry me…

(She chuckles, then snaps her attention to Chris.)

Effy McAvoy: Which, by the way, you would do well to keep his name out of your mouth.

(Chris groans, rolling to the side.)

Effy McAvoy: But, he has helped me. The only difference is, he’s given me everything so that I can fend for myself against people like you who can’t handle the fact that I’ve made it this far. That’s what an actual partnership is supposed to be like. Both of you are far too self-centered and stupid to recognize that. Maybe that’s why your own partnerships in the past fizzled out?

(She shrugs, then lifts the chair up, aiming for Daryl.)

Effy McAvoy: Either way, you both messed up. And guess what? I don’t plan on being patient enough to wait until House of Glass to make you pay for thinking you can MESS WITH ME!

(CRAAAAASH!)

Jake Mercer: Whoa! Daryl just BARELY rolled out of the way from that chair shot! And look—Chris has come up, grabbing Effy from behind! Effy manages to toss out a back elbow, but Elite remains with his grasp… AND DARYL’S POPPED UP! HE CHARGES RIGHT AT HER! OH NO, HE’S GONNA HIT HER WITH ‘BOW DOWN TO THE KINK’!!
(Daryl shoots in, and the swift back elbow collides with the forehead!)

(…)

Flannery McCoy: NO! EFFY SLIPPED OUT, AND CHRIS ELITE GOES DOWN COLD ON THE FLOOR! DARYL’S EYES GO WIDE!

(…but, he doesn’t harp on it for too long. A largely unapologetic look crosses his face. He sneers.)

Daryl Kinkade: Would’ve done it to you, anyhow. Fucking plunker.

(He whirls around—)

Stew-O: And Effy kicks him in the stomach! He drops to his knees, and the champion sees her chance! She’s been able to thwart both men these last couple of weeks, but now, she may put a definitive statement out there as she COMES IN WITH THE CURB STOMP—

(CRAAAASH!)

Jake Mercer: OH, GOD! DARYL BROUGHT THE CHAIR UP TO THAT FOOT, AND EFFY SCREAMS AS SHE’S DOWN, ROLLING AROUND IN AGONY!

Flannery McCoy: DAMN! Daryl staggers up, and doesn’t waste time! He takes hold of her and DRIVES HER DOWN WITH THE MISERY LOVES COMPANY!

(Both Effy and Chris are laid out. Daryl, breathing heavily, sees the Interwire Championship, which got loose amidst the chaos. He picks it up as he stands, looking down at it.)

Stew-O: And this time, Daryl Kinkade is the one who stands above the champion and number one contender! But if this is to happen again at House of Glass, he could make full use of the opportunity for championship gold again in his hands!

(And that is the final shot before Dynasty fades elsewhere…)

(The scene pans to an overview of the arena’s interior, as a plethora of the many followers amongst Heaven Above can be seen positioned accordingly along the ringside area. Then, standing in his own lonesome within the squared circle is the World Heavyweight Champion himself, as he stands in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand.)

Drake King: The voice of God must speak.

(The followers all clasp their palms together, and lower their heads as they all face Drake King while surrounding him from the outside, as Drake breathes deeply before speaking again.)

Drake King: Deliverance. That is precisely what has been given to this world since my reign began. I have amassed much of the wealth in knowledge & experience that countless dream of adorning, and there will always be a high measure that only I can muster for myself. As the sole source of this world’s most divine gift, and the sheer representation of what should be appropriately championed, I have proven myself time & time again, more than capable of asserting exactly where I should be. As you have all known me to be capable of foreseeing, there will forever remain an unjust environment amongst the very people who voice such despicable transgressions against me. They do not know their bounds, and they believe that they can stand before God, look Him directly in the eye & declare themselves worthy of facing me. There will be outliers in this world who remain so set upon measuring their own worth by my very name, and this select enormity of people try so greatly to stake their claim toward me.

(Drake allows for a sigh.)

Drake King: Of course, this is not made any easier by the three men who have chosen to stand before me at the upcoming event to follow. These, graceless souls who wish to place such emphasis on themselves to be the next in line for grasping onto what I have won so valiantly, they do not understand what all of this truly takes. By every degree, I believe it has become a necessity to everyone that a lesson must be learned. A lesson in regards to the future. A future, where there will remain much of the progress made at my very behest, capable of eclipsing much of the disdainful efforts that have plagued this world for much too long. After all that I have endured to find myself in this position of fortune, now I must do as a leader shall follow—to lead with the understanding that my future, is one of which many fail to comprehend. Many are unable to handle this future that I am striving toward, and that is simply left to the vestiges of their own refusal.

(Drake looks down upon the title that is positioned comfortably around his own waist.)

Drake King: My challengers… Yanni. David. NICK. Heretics, every last one of them… They truly believe, that they can appoint themselves as worthy of the mantle that I carry. To snatch this gracious gold away from my fingers, to take away what is such a clear representation of what I bestow upon this world. Nothing more than repugnant fools, who serve such a blasphemous cause for their own selfish ambitions, with no understanding of why I am in this position like no other can match. I have my reasons for wishing to exempt this match from coming to be. To, at the very least, be given a challenger who fits the description of a worthy opponent for this match. Yet, I cannot even be given the slightest respect for that much, and that lies in the conspicuous hands of Tyrone Montegomery, for continuing to fail. For continuing to allow injustice to be thrown against me time & time again, after all that I have done. His failure to steer such a ship that is in need of guidance, and he fails at every given turn. How has he not learned by this point, at this very precipitous loss that he constantly endures, that I remain the one & only beacon of strength in this roster of miscreants…?

Drake King: How much more…? How much more must this ship, be ridden with the cracks & crevices of such failure, for me to continuously drag this vessel back to prosperous tides…?

(Then, the audience soon reacts loudly as there is not only one spotlight that shines upon Drake King, as he takes his glance toward another spotlight shining thoroughly—as NICK stands at the stage, chewing gum with his arms crossed as he’s looking directly in the direction of Drake.)

(‘Till another spotlight shines—as Yanni Killebrew can be seen motioning through the audience, hood over his own head as a spotlight follows him as well, his face focused while glancing over to where Drake King situates in the ring.)

(Then, lastly—a spotlight shines highly, as it it set across the skybox, where David Gideon Smith can seen cloaked in his own right, gazing down toward where they are with a small grin on his face, perhaps amused by Drake King’s words.)

David Gideon Smith: Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

Yanni Killebrew: The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.

NICK: If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Yeah, they threw out proverbs, I had to go Galatians to get the point across for you, bud’. Everything that the book’s telling you on what you really are, just a dude’ with one hell of an ego that needs to be brought down. And when I do bring your ass down, that title’s gonna be all mine.

David Gideon Smith: Let’s not overstep, as much as you may have tenacity in this match, you are not equipped with distinguish the flame that will brew from within through my own inclusion.

NICK: Tch, I’ll deal with you. I don’t need to like anybody here.

Yanni Killebrew: You make that very obvious, and I’m given plenty of reason to consider where I stand in this place just as well, where I see my own victory to be achieved.

NICK: You’re pretentious in your own damn right, Yanni. All of you got something going on that annoys the hell out of me, and I’ll make sure that three different names are dropped.

Yanni Killebrew: You are far too immature to even be considered in the running of what’s going on here, NICK. As hot-headed as you can possibly be, you lack the focus needed whereas David over here believe he knows far too much than he can even grasp.

David Gideon Smith: Incredibly fucking rich coming from you, Yanni. Despite how ridiculous that sounds, I am well equipped for this matter & all will be solved accordingly. There is gold that must be won, and I will be the victor—

David King: ENOUGH.

(Drake speaks prominently into mic, as they all divert their attention toward the World Heavyweight Champion.)

David King: Enough, that’s enough. House of Glass, it will be the very last time that I allow ANY of you, to be deluded into believing you are capable of facing me. You cannot stop this, and it will be all that you remember, there’s no triumph over God…

(The three men are silent for a moment, and they all have rather altered faces—as there seems to be a nonverbal agreement amongst them.)

Stew-O: THEY’RE ALL MOTIONING TOWARD THE RING! IT SEEMS DRAKE MAY HAVE POKED A BEAR HE SHOULDN’T HAVE!

Stew-O: HERE IS DRAKE’S CHURCH RUSHING INTO THE RING! HIS DEDICATED FOLLOWERS ARE NOW PROTECTING HIM WHILE ALL THREE MEN RUSH INTO THE RING!!!

Flannery McCoy: AND DRAKE QUICKLY SLIPS OUT OF THE RING AS HIS CHURCH IS FIGHTING OFF THE THREE—BUT THEY’RE BEING FLOORED! THEY’RE ALL BEING TAKEN DOWN ONE BY ONE, NO MATCH FOR THE OPPONENTS TO THE CHAMPION!

Jake Mercer: WHILE THE GOONS ARE BEING DISMANTLED AS DRAKE IS ABLE TO SCURRY OFF FROM THE RING! THEY’VE JUST CLEARED THEM OUT IN RECORD PACE, AND NOW—

(Yanni shoves a follower into NICK from behind, and NICK quickly turns, glaring toward Yanni.)

NICK: (off-mic) You want something…? You really tryna’ do this with me, huh?

Yanni Killebrew: (off-mic) Got nothing but time…

David Gideon Smith: (off-mic) I’m sure you don’t.

Stew-O: DAVID RUSHES IN FOR A LARIAT—BUT NO, YANNI DUCKS UNDER—AND NICK HAS DAVID IN A FIREMAN’S CARRY!!!! BUT HERE’S YANNI RUSHING TOWARD NICK FOR A BOOT—
