During the month of May, the road to Pain for Pride commenced as EAW saw its final marquee event before it, with Fighting Spirit! May was another excellent month for EAW and it certainly didn’t come without its surprises. One of those surprises was a Championship changing hands, as tensions have completely boiled over. The Elitist of the Month for May is none other than the new Specialists Champion, Saori Aizen! At Fighting Spirit Saori would officially become Champion for the first time in her EAW career at the expense of her newfound enemy Auburn Ware in what was both a beyond personal and violent match. The hatred these two had for each other had gotten out of control and the match between them showcased as much, but it seems that in the end this only worked to Saori’s advantage. Ultimately that match would result in Saori getting the last laugh over Auburn, as she’d become the new Specialists Champion and finally achieve what she’s been after for a while. This was a major victory for Saori who now has the chance to walk into Pain for Pride as a Champion. Her methods may be very cruel, but in the end they proved to be effective, so congratulations to Saori Aizen for winning the Specialists Championship!
