(EAW intro plays)
(After it fades out, the camera pans over the sold-out crowd in Geodis Park. The fans are going crazy, knowing Grand Rampage is scheduled to start soon! After a moment, the camera shot cuts to the stage where a small pyro display takes place and once the smoke clears, Fight Grid host, Molly Waters, is seen standing in the middle of the stage!)
Molly Waters: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… WELCOME TO GRAND RAMPAGE!
(The crowd erupts. Molly gives them a moment to get it all out of their system before she continues speaking.)
Molly Waters: Grand Rampage Day One will start soon, but first… we’re going to treat you all to not one… but TWO championship matches! We are officially on the road to Pain for Pride and every single match counts! Everyone wants to put themselves in position to have an amazing Pain for Pride, and I’m going to send it down to the broadcast booth where Gavin Kirkland, Sienna Swan, and DeadPrez are waiting to get things underway! Enjoy the show everyone!

Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING IS A SINGLES MATCH AND IT IS FOR THE NEW BREED CHAMPIONSHIP!
(‘WITH ME’ by Jun Senoue begins to blast throughout the arena as the Miyazaki dollars begin raining down from the rafters. Christian Miyazaki emerges onto the stage with complete confidence.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING THE CHALLENGER…RESIDING IN DETROIT, MICHIGAN…WEIGHING IN AT 235 POUNDS…HE IS MATTO NO KAMISAMA…CCHHHRRIISTTIANNN MIIIYAAAZAAAKKKKKIIII!
Sienna Swan: And here comes the God of the Mat! Christian Miyazaki has his first championship match here tonight! And you can tell that after these back and forths in recent weeks that he is feeling quite confident.
(Christian Miyazaki makes his way into the ring with a smirk on his face. He then stands center and hits the Money Clip pose, basking in the cheers of the fans.)
(‘Confident’ by Demi Lovato now begins to play as golden smoke flows over the stage and ramp. Clayton Golde walks through it with a model in his arms and the New Breed Championship around his waist. He slaps her on the ass and waves her away.)
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT…FROM HIS GOLDEN COMPOUND IN ROMANIA…WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS…HE IS THE NEW BREED CHAMPION…THE GOLLLDDEEENN GOD…CLAAAYYTTTOOOON GOLLLDDEEE!
(Golde spreads his arms wide as he basks in the spotlight that descends upon him. The fans boo him with fervor. With a grin on his face he heads down to the ring. Miyazaki just looks amused by all this.)
Gavin Kirkland: AND MAKE WAY FOR THE GOLDEN GOD! Clayton Golde has been plagued by Christian Miyazaki for a few weeks now! But Golde’s confidence is always off the charts! He is ready for whatever might come his way tonight!
(He gets into the ring and hands the referee his championship. Golde then crumbles up a ball of Miyazaki’s dollars and throws it at his chest. It bounces off and Miyazaki shakes his head. The bell rings.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gavin Kirkland: And there’s the bell and this champion match is officially underway! The Golden God is about to give a crash on being an alpha to this soy beta cuck Christian Miyazaki! And look at how Clayton strides up to him with confidence! He offers his opponent a handshake! I can’t believe it! The Golden hand that feeds all of us here on Showdown is about to touch the lowly Christian Miyazaki!
Sienna Swan: But it was a fake out! As soon as Miyazaki went in for it, Golde slapped him right across the face! That was just completely disrespectful!
Gavin Kirkland: How was that disrespectful? Golde was just showing him that in business, you have to expect the unexpected! That was a valuable lesson that he just departed onto his opponent!
Deadprez: And now Golde has his challenger in a headlock! He’s really wrenching right here! Miyazaki is able to escape by pushing Golde forward and into the ropes! HE GOES FOR A RUNNING YAKUZA KICK BUT GOLDE AVOIDS IT AND SLIPS BEHIND HIM! AND GOLDE LOOKS FOR THE CRUCIFIX PIN! HE’S TRYING TO STEAL THIS ONE EARLY!

Sienna Swan: But Christian Miyazaki gets a defiant kick out there! Golde quickly rolls him back to his feet and drives a big knee into his opponent’s stomach! He then sends him across the ring with an irish whip! OFF THE REBOUND HE GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE BUT MIYAZAKI AVOIDS IT! HE TRIES TO GET HIM WITH A SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX…but Golde is able to free his arm and elbow him in the face!
Gavin Kirkland: AND NOW HE LIFTS HIS OPPONENT UP AND DRIVES HIM INTO THE MAT WITH THE TEARDROP SUPLEX! I know there’s going to be some tears shed by Miyazuki after that one! Golde is firmly in control of the beginning of this one! And he looks to stay in control here as he brings Miyazaki back to his feet!
Deadprez: Golde looks for a right hand but Miyazaki catches it! HE THEN UNLEASHES A BRUTAL KNIFE EDGE CHOP! It had enough impact to send Golde staggering back into the corner! Miyazaki meets him there with the running back elbow! He then lifts him up and places him across the top turnbuckle! Miyazaki then takes a few steps back…AND THEN RUNS FORWARD FOR A KNEE STRIKE!
Sienna Swan: But Golde shoves himself off the ropes and out onto the apron in time! HE GRABS MIYAZAKI AND DRAGS HIS FACES OFF THE TOP ROPE! He then slides back in the ring, stalking his opponent…AND HE TAKES HIM DOWN WITH THE BULLDOG! Golde hooks the leg and goes for the first cover of the match!

Gavin Kirkland: What? Christian Miyazaki was able to kick out before the two count? Clayton Golde looks pissed and he should be! His time is very valuable! He decides to keep the offense going anyways here…dragging Miyazaki over to the apron! Golde himself exits the ring and then slams his opponent’s face off the steel apron!
Deadprez: Looks like he’s going to do whatever he has to tonight! Clayton Golde is a man who believes he is above the rules…above the norms of society! Miyazaki is going to find that out the hard way! Golde now lines up his shot here…AND THEN HE LOOKS FOR THE GUILLOTINE LEG DROP!
Sienna Swan: BUT MIYAZAKI MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Golde lands on his rump on the steel! It looks like he might have had the wind driven out of him there! He stumbles outside the ring and Miyazaki is now in pursuit! HE ROCKS GOLDE WITH THE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! He then gets him up onto his shoulders for the death valley bomb!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT GOLDE SLIPS OFF HIS SHOULDERS! HE TRIES FOR A CLOTHESLINE FROM BEHIND BUT MIYAZAKI SAW IT COMING! He ducks underneath it and then plants Golde down with a spinebuster! He then lifts him back up and tosses him inside the ring! He has him exactly where he wants him at the moment! This is bad!
Deadprez: And Miyazaki is about to deliver some payback here! HE GETS HIM WITH A SLIDING BASEBALL DROPKICK TO THE KNEE! And now he grabs the ankle of Golde and places him in the ankle lock! Look at the way he is twisting that ligament…he knows that he needs to disable something in the Golde toolbox!
Sienna Swan: BUT GOLDE MANAGES TO CRAWL TO THE ROPES! The official is calling for the break and Miyazaki obliges! Golde gets back to his feet…AND THEN CHEAP SHOTS HIS OPPONENT WITH A KICK TO THE GUT! He then grabs his opponent, hooking the arm and tries to lift him up for the butterfly suplex! MIYAZAKI IS ABLE TO TWIST OUT OF IT! HE THEN GETS GOLDE WITH ANOTHER CHOP…FOLLOWED BY A DROPKICK! He looks for his own cover now!

Gavin Kirkland: But of course that wasn’t enough to stop Golde! He gets his shoulder up before the two count! Christian Miyazaki keeps the pressure on, dragging Golde back to his feet and locking him in the guillotine choke! BUT NOW GOLDE DRIVES HIM INTO THE CORNER, SLAMMING HIM AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLES!
Deadprez: He breaks out of that hold with ease and now he’s laying into his opponent with some jabs! He unloads a bit before scooping him out of the corner and spiking him with the scoop slam! And now Golde looks to add some style to this match! He heads up onto the top rope now! Is our champion about to fly?
Sienna Swan: NO! He gets off the ropes and catches Miyazaki with a superkick in the side of the head instead! It looks like he’s not willing to start taking risks quite yet. Instead, he drags his opponent up to a vertical base! He then lifts his opponent up and tries to drop him on top of the ropes! But Miyazaki refuses with an elbow directed right into the face of his opponent!
Gavin Kirkland: He then grabs Golde and slams his face right into the top turnbuckle! AND NOW HE LIFTS HIM UP AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S GETTING HIM IN POSITION FOR THE TURNBUCKLE POWERBOMB! He manages to get Golde high in the sky here…AND THEN GOES FOR IT!
Deadprez: But his opponent counters with a hurricarana! He sends Christian Miyazaki into the turnbuckles instead! His face connects with them and he stumbles towards the center of the ring! Golde takes advantage from behind! HE GETS HIM IN THE SLEEPER HOLD! Golde wants to help Miyazaki take a little nap here! He’s coiled around him like a boa constrictor, hoping to squeeze the life out of him!
Sienna Swan: But Miyazaki isn’t tired yet! He sends some elbows into the ribs of his opponent! HE THEN LIFTS HIM UP AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH THE SINGLE-UNDERHOOK SUPLEX! He then rolls back to his feet and slips behind him! HE FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH THE SLEEPER SUPLEX! A brutal combination there and Golde might be in serious danger!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT NO! Before Miyazaki is able to do anything more, Golde rolls out of the ring! Looks like the 1,000 IQ of the Wincel is in full display here! He looks to regather his senses out there but Miyazaki doesn’t want to give him a breather! He heads straight to the outside…AND GOLDE TRIPS HIM RIGHT INTO THE STEEL STEPS!
Deadprez: Like always, Golde knows how to use a situation to his advantage! Miyazaki’s face just collided with the steel! He might be completely out of it here! Look at that shark-like grin on the face of the champion…he knows the blood is in the water! Wait a second here…Golde is now setting up the steel steps! The referee is warning him that he needs to bring this match back inside the ring!
Sienna Swan: But of course, Golde knows that a disqualification or count out means that he gets to keep that championship around his waist! He lifts his opponent for the powerbomb onto the steps! AND HERE IT COMES!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT CHRISTIAN MIYAZAKI SHOWS SOME DEFIANCE! He begins driving his fists down straight into the chadly face of Clayton Golde! He manages to get dropped down back onto his feet! HE THEN PICKS HIM UP AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH THE BUTTERFLY SUPLEX! Miyazaki then lifts him up and throws him back inside the ring!
Deadprez: Look at the confidence on the face of Christian Miyazaki now! He definitely looks out of it a bit after his face hit the steps! BUT NOW HE BRINGS GOLDE BACK TO A VERTICAL BASE! AND HE LOOKS FOR THE MICHONOKU DRIVER II! GOD STAR!
Sienna Swan: BUT GOLDE MANAGES TO GET HIM IN THE FACE WITH A KNEE! He’s dropped back down and rolls to his feet! Miyazaki tries to find his bearings but it’s too late! GOLDE BOOTS HIM IN THE STOMACH…AND THEN TAKES HIM DOWN THE FAMOUSER! He hooks the leg and goes for the cover!

Gavin Kirkland: MIYAZAKI KICKS OUT RIGHT AT THE TWO COUNT! I thought that was it! Golde definitely seemed to have been of that opinion! He’s beginning to argue with the official who isn’t having any of it! I can’t believe that he would contradict the Golden God! If Golde thought that was a three count then it was a three count!
Deadprez: That’s not how it works there Gavin. Golde needs to refocus on his opponent instead of wasting time trying to change the ref’s mind! And it looks like that’s what he plans on doing now! He drags his opponent back up to a vertical base! HE THEN GOES TO THE ROPES AND LEAPS ONTO THE ROPES! HE GOES FOR THE SPRINGBOARD STUNNER! THE BRAND DEAL!
Sienna Swan: BUT MIYAZAKI CATCHES HIM WITH THE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD INSTEAD! He completely knocks the sense of his opponent with that one! As Golde struggles to get back…HE’S NAILED BY THE SLIDING LARIAT! It nearly takes his opponent’s head off! But Miyazaki isn’t done here…he looks towards the top rope now!
Gavin Kirkland: And now Miyazaki makes his ascent here! He gets onto that top rope as the fans begin to cheer! I can’t believe all these traitors! They should be booing! We could witnessing an absolute travesty here tonight! BUT HERE IT COMES REGARDLESS! MIYAZAKI COMES DOWN WITH THE FROG SPLASH! HE CONNECTS WITH IT! NO! HE HOOKS THE LEG OF GOLDE!

Deadprez: BUT CLAYTON GOLDE IS ABLE TO GET THAT SHOULDER UP! At the two count as well! That was much closer than he would ever have liked! But Miyazaki is not easily dismayed here! TRIANGLE CHOKE! HE IMMEDIATELY LOCKS IT IN!
Sienna Swan: You can see the panic on Golde’s face! He doesn’t want to be in this one for long! He desperately tries to pull himself free but Miyazaki has a death grip here! He is never going to let him go! But Clayton is crafty…and he manages to maneuver himself to get a foot on the bottom rope!
Gavin Kirkland: That infinite in-ring wisdom of Clayton Golde coming in clutch! The referee has no choice but to break this hold up! Golde immediately rolls out onto the apron in order to get some distance between him and his opponent! He pulls himself back up onto his feet! Miyazaki decides to head out there as well and this is a dangerous situation for both men!
Deadprez: GOLDE LOOKS FOR A SWIPE BUT MIYAZAKI CATCHES THE ARM! HE FIRES BACK WITH ONE OF HIS OWN! It completely stuns Golde before Miyazaki follows up with a big knife-edge chop! AND NOW HE GETS GOLDE UP ONTO HIS SHOULDERS! COULD WE SEE THE DEATH VALLEY BOMB ON THE APRON HERE?
Sienna Swan: WAIT A SECOND! GOLDE’S LEGS SWING AND HITS THE OFFICIAL! HE’S KNOCKED DOWN FOR A MOMENT AND GOLDE RAKES THE EYES OF MIYAZAKI!
Gavin Kirkland: HAHAHA! BRILLIANT TACTIC THERE! GOLDE NOW GRABS HOLD OF HIS OPPONENT…AND GETS HIM WITH A PILEDRIVER! RIGHT ONTO THE STEEL!
Deadprez: There’s no way…Miyazaki has to be done for with that one if not concussed! Golde rolls him back inside the ring and hooks the leg! But the official is still down! There’s no count for him!
Sienna Swan: Golde looks pissed off now! He goes over to the official and brings him back to his feet! Look at him! Once again the entitled Clayton Golde is arguing with the official! Golde finally just walks back over to Miyazaki and now look! HE’S HITTING THE MONEY CLIP FROM MIYAZAKI! THE ENTIRE ARENA IS BOOING HIM NOW!
Gavin Kirkland: HE LIFTS HIM UP BACK TO A VERTICAL BASE AND PUTS HIS HAND TO THE CHEST! HERE COMES THE ONE-INCH PUNCH!
Deadprez: BUT MIYAZAKI GRABS HIS ARM INSTEAD! HE GETS HIM WITH ANOTHER MASSIVE KNIFE-EDGE CHOP! That nearly knocked Golde right off his feet! He tries to regain his balance here but Miyazaki unloads a brutal kick straight to his midsection! HE GETS THE PUMPHANDLE AND LIFTS HIM UP…PUMPHANDLE NECKBREAKER! That was a nasty move right there! Miyazaki is presented with a chance here! He needs to capitalize on that big move with an even bigger one!
Sienna Swan: He slowly brings his opponent back to a vertical base here! He then turns him upside down and it looks like he might be getting him in position for Now, We Play! HERE IT COMES!
Gavin Kirkland: But the Golden God doesn’t let his legs get pinned down! Instead he manages to get a swift kick straight into the face of his opponent! Miyazaki drops him down and Golde quickly rolls back to his feet! As Miyazaki tries to stand up…GOLDE TAKES HIM DOWN WITH THE HURRICARANA! He sends him into the corner…AND MEETS HIM THERE WITH A BIG CLOTHESLINE!
Deadprez: His opponent stumbles back towards the center of the ring! Clayton Golde runs to the ropes…AND THEN COMES BACK WITH THE BRAND DEAL! THE SPRINGBOARD STUNNER FINALLY CONNECTS! That could be it right here! Clayton Golde hooks the leg!

Sienna Swan: NO! CHRISTIAN MIYAZAKI KICKS OUT! He digs down deep and stays alive in this championship match! Golde doesn’t like that at all! He gets back to his feet and stomps down on his opponent with a fury! He looks pissed off here and that could make him dangerous! Golde drags his opponent over to the ropes and lines up his head! HE HITS HIM WITH THE DECAPITATOR!
Gavin Kirkland: His head snaps against the ropes in gnarly fashion! Golde is going to do whatever he needs to tonight! That is what the Modern Day Midas will do in order to keep that championship golden! AND NOW HE LIFTS MIYAZAKI BACK UP…AND HE PICKS HIM UP IN THE POWERSLAM POSITION! HERE COMES THE END! TIME TO SWALLOW THAT GOLDE PILL!
Deadprez: BUT MIYAZAKI MANAGES TO SLIP OFF HIS SHOULDERS! HE TURNS GOLDE AROUND AND GETS HIM WITH A MASSIVE BACK ELBOW! He follows that up with the right hook and then finally cuts him down with a massive lariat! A big combination there and it looks like Miyazaki is back in the driver’s seat here!
Sienna Swan: He brings him back up to his feet here! HE THEN LAYS INTO HIM WITH HIM WITH A RISING KNEE! That one had a massive impact behind it! And now he tries for the straight-jacket suplex! Golde is able to shove him away instead! Golde rushes back towards him with a desperate big boot that his opponent is easily able to dodge!
Gavin Kirkland: Clayton Golde tries to turn around but he’s caught! CHRISTIAN MIYAZAKI LIFTS HIM UP AND DRIVES HIM INTO THE MAT WITH THE MICHINOKU DRIVER II! THE GOD STAR HAS CONNECTED! NO! THIS CAN’T BE! Miyazaki goes for the cover!

Deadprez: BUT GOLDE KICKS OUT! THE CHAMPION IS NOT ABOUT TO GIVE UP HERE! Christian Miyazaki keeps calm even after that disappointing kick out! He looks down at Golde and nods, knowing that he’s going to need to step it up in order to walk out of here with the gold!
Sienna Swan: And now he brings him back up to his feet! HE THEN BEGINS TO LAY INTO HIM WITH SOME MORE CHOPS! He drives his opponent into the corner, shredding the chest of Clayton Golde with every strike! AND NOW HE’S LIFTING HIM UP ONTO THE TOP ROPE! Nothing ever good starts with that!
Gavin Kirkland: Christian Miyazaki climbs up there with Golde! He begins laying into the champion, doing whatever he can to wear him down for whatever comes next! HE LIFTS HIM UP NOW AND IT LOOKS HE’S GOING FOR THE BRAINBUSTER!
Deadprez: BUT CLAYTON GOLDE DRIVES A KNEE RIGHT DOWN INTO HIS HEAD! He manages to drop back down on the top turnbuckle! And now these two are exchanging blows up there on the top rope, neither one of them are willing to fall!
Sienna Swan: BUT GOLDE BITES MIYAZAKI! HE BITES HIM RIGHT ON THE NOSE!
Gavin Kirkland: AND THE GOLDEN GOD SHOVES HIM OFF THE TOP ROPE AND MIYAZAKI MAKES AN AWFUL LANDING ON THE MAT! Clayton Golde smiles now, he’s got his challenger right where he wants him! HE LEAPS OFF THE TOP AND COMES DOWN ON HIM WITH THE 450 LEG DROP!
Deadprez: And he immediately brings him back up to his feet! GOLDE NOW LIFTS HIM UP HIGH INTO THE AIR AND PLANTS MIYAZAKI WITH A SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! COVER!

Sienna Swan: BUT NO! That is not enough to get the job done! Christian Miyazaki wants to be New Breed Champion! Golde stares down the referee with a venomous gaze! He grabs his opponent…AND DRAGS HIM OUTSIDE THE RING! Once again Golde is prepared to use whatever barely legal tools he can in order to get the job done tonight!
Deadprez: He lifts him up above his head and it seems like his intention is to powerbomb Christian Miyazaki through the barricade! This could spell disaster for his opponent if this connects! AND THERE HE GOES!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT MIYAZAKI BRINGS AN ELBOW DOWN INTO HIS OPPONENT’S HEAD! He gets rapidly firing them off until Clayton Golde drops him down to his feet! Golde looks for a right hand but Miyazaki ducks down instead! HE GETS HIM UP ONTO HIS SHOULDERS FOR A DEATH VALLEY BOMB! BUT HE RUNS TOWARDS THE BARRICADE…AND PUTS GOLDE THROUGH IT!
Sienna Swan: NO WAY! Christian Miyazaki has just paid Golde back in full here now! The barricade has been decimated! Both of these men have been decimated! He’s barely able to get back up onto his feet here! And now he tries dragging Golde back to the ring but the man is practically unconscious! He is dead weight at this point and it is going to be difficult to get Golde back inside for the cover!
Deadprez: But he keeps going because he knows that this match has to be finished inside the ring! Eventually, Miyazaki is able to roll Clayton Golde back inside the ring! AND HE GOES FOR THE PIN! WE COULD BE SEEING A NEW CHAMPION HERE!

He thought that he handed an L to the Wincel! Put down the Clout Shark! Slain the Golden God! But no, this one is not over yet!
Deadprez: But Christian Miyazaki knows that he needs to pull out all the stops now! He heads to the corner…AND HE HITS THAT MONEY SPREAD TAUNT! EVERYONE IN THE AUDIENCE IS ROARING NOW! THEY WANT CHRISTIAN MIYAZAKI TO PUT GOLDE IN THE GROUND TONIGHT! AND HE RUSHES FORWARD NOW WITH THAT INTENT! HERE COMES THE KESENAI TSUMI!
Sienna Swan: BUT HIS OPPONENT DUCKS DOWN AND ROLLS UNDERNEATH THE KNEE! HE THEN POPS UP BEHIND HIS OPPONENT AND CONNECTS WITH THE LEAPING RUDE AWAKENING! C’EST LA VIE!
Gavin Kirkland: And look at that deservingly smug look on Golde’s face as he crawls onto Miyazaki now! This one is over folks! Congratulations to The Golden God!

Sienna Swan: Look at him! He’s getting right in the face of the official! He’s practically trying to bully him now, insisting that he got it wrong! Clayton Golde seems to fully believe that he won this match!
Clayton Golde (off-mic): DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? WHEN THE GOLDEN GOD SAYS THAT HE WON…HE WON.
Gavin Kirkland: Wait a second now! Clayton Golde is heading to the outside and he’s…grabbing the championship! He heads back inside the ring with a microphone at hand! I think we’re about to get an announcement from the champ!
Sienna Swan: Hopefully he’s announcing his entry into a psych ward…
Clayton Golde: RING THE BELL! INCELS AND FEMCELS…YOUR WINNER AND STILLNEW BREED CHAMPION…THE GOLLLLDEEENN GOOODDDD…CLAYTON GOLDE!
(The EAW Universe drowns him with boos. He just holds the championship high with a grin on his face.)
Deadprez: Did he just declare himself the winner of this match?
Gavin Kirkland: Yes he did! And you know what…I agree! The Modern Day Midas clearly knows what he’s talking about! If you listened to his podcast you’d see he makes a lot of good points! But I don’t think Christian Miyazaki agrees…

Jake Mercer: Indeed. But the Interwire Champion, Effy McAvoy is not going to make it any easier for Winona to pull off what would be a huge upset tonight. Winona wants that title? She’s going to have to go through hell and back to get it. And even then, do we think that would be enough to put down Effy McAvoy and crown a new Interwire Champion?

Jake Mercer: The EAW Interwire Championship is on the line, this match has a big fight feel to it if you ask me. With Effy just becoming champion and Winona looking to become a champion tonight. We are going to have a fight on our hands.

Stew-O: The bell rings and here we go! The title has been handed to the referee and now it’s time. Both Winona and Effy step out of their corners, circling the ring and eyeing one another down as we are set to get into the action. A grin on the face of Effy’s as Ahren is cheering her on from ringside.
Flannery McCoy: Effy is starting to pick up the pace a little bit, which is what she’ll have to do here against Winona. Knowing good and well that Winona has the power advantage! Finally the two lunge towards one another! Effy uses her quickness to slip down to a knee. She slips behind Winona for a rear waist lock! Trying to get the upper hand at the start of this match!
Jake Mercer: I think Effy McAvoy is trying to wear down the midsection of Winona Hendrickson, but Winona is not going for it early on in this match. With one swift movement, Winona reaches behind her, before slinging the EAW Interwire Champion to the canvas! That’s that power on display that we were speaking of. And now we’re back at square one with both women locking eyes with one another.
Stew-O: Effy McAvoy is getting back to her feet. I don’t believe that she is in the slightest, surprised by that strength of Winona’s, with the smirk that she has plastered on her face right now. The two start to circle the ring once again, and it seems that Effy is going towards Winona, her hands up as she’s offering a collar and elbow tie up-

Flannery McCoy: A hold applied to potentially wear down Winona, but Winona is still fighting! She uses her strength and rushes back towards the corner, driving Effy McAvoy back into the turnbuckles! Effy is still holding on! But WINONA DRIVES HER BACK INTO THE TURNBUCKLES AGAIN!!

Flannery McCoy: Smart move by Effy to create some separation between herself and Winona, while Winona is looking to keep her offensive momentum going. But I don’t believe that Winona is looking to slow down as she sees Effy at ringside, nursing that back while conversing with Ahren!

Jake Mercer: What a disgusting display from Effy, and she seems to be enjoying it as she has a smile on her face. But she is taking advantage of this moment. Jake Mercer: Effy having control of this match is certainly not good news for the challenger. That control continues with Effy now sending a stiff kick to the ribs of Winona, but she’s not stopping! She strikes her with another one! She’s seemingly taunting Winona right now and she’s doing it with a devious smile on her face.
Flannery McCoy: There’s no secret that Effy is enjoying this display of disrespect, but the crowd on the other hand is not having it. Effy goes to grab Winona by the hair, pulling her to her feet methodically, before… CRACK! A slap to the face of Winona’s! Winona just got rocked! And she’s reeling!

Jake Mercer: Effy has Winona where she wants her. She’s starting to throw punch after punch at the face of Winona’s! Trying to stun her! Winona is teetering on the apron right now! And this is NOT a position that you want to be in, if you’re in Winona’s shoes at the moment.
Flannery McCoy: Nonetheless, I don’t believe that Effy has any good intentions here. She is looking at the floor at ringside and back towards Winona. Jake Mercer: Effy kicks out again! And just like that, this match is still going. Neither woman is really going to give in here tonight, it’s going to have to be forced upon one or the other.
Flannery McCoy: Winona wastes no time, climbing back onto her feet. She reaches down now and grabs hold of Effy McAvoy, pulling her to her feet. She knows she has to keep her foot on the gas! She absolutely levels Effy McAvoy with a European Uppercut! Effy stumbles back on wobbly legs.
Stew-O: Effy is just slightly stunned after that European Uppercut from Winona. But I don’t believe that Winona Hendrickson is done! Winona reels back, before hitting Effy with ANOTHER European Uppercut that sends her reeling back and into the ropes!
Jake Mercer: Winona has slowed this match down for the moment. Doing what she can to try and keep the EAW Interwire Champion on her toes. And it seems like it’s working at the moment, because she has the champion on the ropes right now and she’s not holding back as she’s starting to light Effy up with Chops followed by European Uppercuts!!
Flannery McCoy: Winona is taking it to Effy McAvoy right now! And she does not seem to be letting up. Winona turns and rushes towards the ropes! Nothing but the intent to keep her offense going on her mind! But Effy suddenly dashes off of the ropes… BICYCLE KICK CONNECTS TO WINONA AGAINST THE ROPES!
Stew-O: I don’t even know how she withstood those chops and European uppercuts that she was taking from Winona! But she somehow mustered up enough wherewithal to be able to cut Winona off as she was looking to continue her offensive onslaught.
Jake Mercer: Well, these two have been at one another since the bell has rung. And I have not seen either of them slow down, not one bit. But Winona slumped against the ropes now, Effy is now running towards the opposite set of ropes! But Winona follows! And now it’s Winona LAYING INTO EFFY WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT AGAINST THE ROPES!
Flannery McCoy: It connects right into the chest of Effy’s! She looks like she damn near got the air knocked out of her by Winona there. Winona being the challenger, has been showing some grit and heart in this match! But she has not been getting it easy. Winona went to run towards the ropes again..
Stew-O: BUT SHE IS CAUGHT! Effy pulls Winona back in by the waistband! She traps that arm of Winona’s, before she spins her outward and she leaps up driving her knee into the face of Winona’s! Connecting with.. ‘THE CLIMAX!!!’
Jake Mercer: IT CONNECTS!! And Winona’s head whips back as she collapses down onto the canvas in a heap! Both women are down right now in the center of the ring. But if Effy wants to retain, she has to find a way right now to make her way over to Winona and get that arm over her shoulder to make that 3 count!
Flannery McCoy: It seems that she is doing EXACTLY that Jake. She’s using everything that she has to crawl her way over to Winona to make that cover! Finally getting there, she throws her arm over Winona’s shoulders! The ref slides down into the cover!

Flannery McCoy: Indeed so! But Effy has to get her head back into the game here. And she seems to be doing just that as she’s climbing to her feet!
